[0:00] You close the door, turn off the lights and feel it.
[0:04] That chill in the air, that presence behind you, You tell
[0:07] yourself it's just shadows. But the angels know better.
[0:11] During the time of the Prophet Muhammad, one of his companions
[0:14] was known to be deeply attached to his faith.
[0:17] He would recite the Quran daily, pray kiam at night and fast
[0:21] often. But one evening, the angels did
[0:24] not enter his home. When he asked the Prophet why he
[0:28] was shocked, the Prophet replied the angels do not enter a house
[0:32] in which there is a dog or images.
[0:35] This is found in Sahih al Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
[0:39] This story is a dramatized retelling of that moment, a
[0:42] reminder for those who live in homes full of distractions,
[0:45] decorations and sometimes things that unknowingly drive away
[0:49] mercy itself. Meet Yasser, a young man who
[0:52] inherited a beautiful home from his grandfather.
[0:55] The house was large, quiet and filled with old decorative
[0:59] paintings. One night, Yasin was praying to
[1:02] Haju. When he felt the strong force
[1:04] pushing from behind. He turned.
[1:07] No one was there. He thought it was exhaustion.
[1:10] But the next day, his Quran recitation felt dry.
[1:14] His prayers disconnected, his nights filled with whispers he
[1:18] could not explain. Then came the dream.
[1:21] A man dressed in white approached him and said, Your
[1:24] house has eyes watching your walls.
[1:26] Hold what the angels hate. Yasser awoke trembling.
[1:30] He searched every room, every wall, and there it was, a
[1:34] painting of a face, beautiful but haunting, hidden behind a
[1:39] curtain. He remembered the prophet's
[1:41] warning. Those who make images will be
[1:43] punished on the Day of Judgement.
[1:45] It will be sent to them. Give life to what you created.
[1:49] This is found in Sahi al Bukhari.
[1:51] He immediately removed every image, every statue and every
[1:55] decoration with eyes. That night the air felt lighter,
[2:00] the prayer deeper, the room warmer.
[2:04] The Prophet told us again, the angels of mercy do not enter a
[2:07] house in which there are dogs or pictures.
[2:10] This is confirmed in Sahi Muslim.
[2:12] We decorate our homes with beauty, but sometimes we
[2:15] unknowingly block blessings. Yasser finally found peace not
[2:19] by adding more to his home, but by removing what stood between
[2:23] him and the mercy of Allah. You do not need jump scares for
[2:27] horror. The real horror is living in a
[2:29] house where angels refuse to enter.
[2:31] Ask yourself, is my home a place where the angels come down or a
[2:36] place they avoid? Let this be a reminder.
[2:39] Remove images and statues from your home.
[2:42] Fill it with Caron dicker and prayer.
[2:45] Make your space A haven of light, not shadows.
[2:48] If this story made your heart race, do not forget to like,
[2:51] share and subscribe because maybe someone else needs this
[2:55] reminder too. Until next time, asalamo alaikum
[2:59] a Rama taladi wabarakatu.
