## Transcript

[0:00] They weren't just tall, they were Titans.
[0:03] Their cities towered over the desert like mountains, pillars
[0:06] carved into stone, palaces built from pride.
[0:10] The tribe of AD didn't fear drought or famine.
[0:14] They laughed at the skies. They worshipped idols of stone
[0:18] and trusted the power of their arms.
[0:20] And when Allah sent them a Warner, they mocked him.
[0:23] When he warned of destruction, they challenged him.
[0:27] Then came a sound they had never heard before.
[0:30] A wind, but not just a wind. A command from above the
[0:35] heavens. This is the story of a people
[0:39] who were mighty in body but weak in soul.
[0:42] A storm would be their end. A warning for those who think
[0:46] they can build taller than truth.
[0:49] Let's begin. Bismillah.
[0:52] Long ago, in the vast desert region of Al Aqqaf, a place of
[0:56] twisting sands and golden heat, there lived a powerful tribe
[1:00] called AD. They weren't ordinary people.
[1:03] They were giants. Tall, muscular, and fearless,
[1:08] their structures were unlike anything anyone had ever seen.
[1:11] Tall columns, fortresses, carved mountains and palaces of stone
[1:16] that reached into the sky. They had everything.
[1:20] Lush gardens, abundant water, thriving herds, grand
[1:24] architecture. But with power came pride, and
[1:29] with pride came forgetfulness. They worshipped idols made of
[1:33] rock. They made statues, gave them
[1:36] names and prostrated before them.
[1:38] Thinking they had control over rain, wind and life.
[1:43] They believed no one was stronger than them.
[1:46] A man rises among them. Hood alayhi asalam.
[1:51] From among them rose a man, kind, wise and just one of their
[1:55] own. Hood Alehiya Salaam was chosen
[1:59] by Allah Subhanahu wata Allah to call them back to truth.
[2:03] He stood before his people and said, Oh my people worship
[2:07] Allah, you have no deity other than him, will you not fear him?
[2:12] Surah Hood 11:50 He reminded them, Allah is your true Lord.
[2:18] These idols cannot hear or help. Arrogance will lead to
[2:21] destruction. But instead of listening, they
[2:25] laughed. They said who is mightier than
[2:28] us in strength? Surah Fusilat 4115 they accused
[2:33] Hood Aliah Salaam of being a liar.
[2:37] They mocked him. They said bring the punishment
[2:40] you keep warning us about if you're truthful.
[2:43] They didn't know they were asking for their own doom.
[2:47] For years, Hood Alehiya Salaam called them with patience.
[2:53] He reminded them of Nour Allehiya Salaam and the flood.
[2:57] He warned them with tears, with mercy and with sincerity.
[3:01] But every warning only made them more stubborn.
[3:04] They looked at their strength, their wealth, their fortresses,
[3:08] and they believed nothing could harm them.
[3:11] So Allah's command descended. The wind begins.
[3:16] It started subtly. The skies darkened, but there
[3:19] was no rain. The wind became sharp, but it
[3:23] did not cool. It howled, but it carried no
[3:26] message of mercy. Then came seven nights and eight
[3:29] days of non-stop violent wind. He sent upon them a screaming
[3:33] windstorm for seven nights and eight days uninterrupted.
[3:37] Surah al Hakka 69 to 7. The ground shook, the air turned
[3:43] razor sharp. It was not just a storm, it was
[3:47] a divine punishment. The same desert that once gave
[3:51] them fruit now buried them beneath sand.
[3:54] The mighty buildings crumbled, the statues they worshipped
[3:58] shattered, and the giants were lifted and thrown like dry
[4:02] sticks. You would see the people fallen
[4:05] as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
[4:08] Surah al Haqqa 69 seven Only one group survived, only the small
[4:14] group who believed in Hood, Alehiya Salaam.
[4:18] Those who held on to Tawhid were saved.
[4:21] They were taken away before the punishment came.
[4:25] And when the storm ended, there was no one left in the city of
[4:29] AD but dust and silence. The story of AD wasn't told to
[4:34] entertain, it was told to warn. And we had certainly established
[4:39] them in such as we have not established you.
[4:42] And we made for them hearing and vision and hearts.
[4:45] But their hearing and vision and hearts availed them not because
[4:49] they were rejecting the signs of Allah.
[4:51] Surah Alakov, the 4626 Strength doesn't save you.
[4:56] Technology doesn't protect you. What matters is obedience,
[5:01] humility and belief in the truth.
[5:04] If a people as strong as AD were destroyed, what about us with
[5:09] our fragile lives and short breaths?
[5:12] Let this story shake our arrogance.
[5:14] Let it bring us back to Torhid. Let it remind us follow the
[5:19] truth even if the world laughs. Share this powerful story.
[5:24] Subscribe for more true stories from the Quran and let the world
[5:29] hear the voices of the past before they become the warnings
[5:33] of the future.
