[0:00] After Bhadra, the battlefield still whispered with the echoes
[0:03] of Quraysh's defeat. 70 of their elite dead, 70 more captives in
[0:10] Madna and Quraysh. They were shattered, humiliated,
[0:15] broken. But one man sharpened his sword
[0:19] and sharpened his soul for revenge.
[0:22] His name? Umair Ibn Wahb, one of the best
[0:26] swordsmen of Makkah, a man of ruthless cunning, a father whose
[0:30] son was now a prisoner of the Muslims, and a heart filled with
[0:34] Rage Against Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi Wasallam.
[0:38] So with fire in his eyes, Umair sat in the shadow of the Kaaba,
[0:43] whispering to a friend. If I didn't have debts, if I
[0:47] didn't have a family to feed, I'd go to Madhana right now and
[0:52] I'd kill Muhammad with my own blade.
[0:55] But someone was listening. Safwan Ibn Umayya, equally
[0:58] bitter after losing family at Badr, leaned forward and said,
[1:02] Your debts are mine, your family mine to protect.
[1:06] Just go. And with that, the deal was
[1:09] made. A quiet assassination, One
[1:12] blade, one man, end Islam at its source.
[1:15] But what Umayya didn't know was that this journey wouldn't end
[1:19] in blood. It would end in light.
[1:22] Let's begin Bismillah. He rode fast, alone, straight
[1:27] into enemy territory, sword dipped in poison, heart dipped
[1:31] in hatred. Madonna rose on the horizon and
[1:35] just as he reached the Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam
[1:38] Masjid, he was stopped. The Sahaba recognized him.
[1:42] Omar Ibn al Khattab Radiallahu Anhu gripped his sword and said
[1:47] this dog is here for evil. They tied him, escorted him
[1:52] inside the Masjid of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasalam, and
[1:56] there he stood face to face with the man he came to kill,
[2:01] Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasalam.
[2:04] But instead of fear, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasalam calmly
[2:09] said, Untie him, let him speak. And Umayyah, now unarmed, now
[2:16] surrounded, looked at the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu
[2:19] alayhi Wasalam. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi
[2:23] wasalam asked. What brought you here, Umayyar?
[2:27] He lied. I came for my son.
[2:30] The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi wasalam said.
[2:33] Then what about that sword hanging from your neck?
[2:37] Umayyar stammered. It's just a sword, nothing more.
[2:42] But then the shock. The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi
[2:46] Wasalam said calmly. Umayyar, what about your secret
[2:50] deal with Safwan in the shadow of the Kaaba?
[2:54] When you said if not for your debts and family, you'd kill me?
[2:58] And when Safwan said he'd cover your debts and protect your
[3:00] family, Silence. Humaya's face turned pale.
[3:05] No one else knew of that conversation except him, Safwan,
[3:10] and Allah. He froze.
[3:13] His sword felt heavier, his knees weaker.
[3:16] This wasn't a man, this was a messenger.
[3:20] And slowly tears welled in his eyes.
[3:23] He said by Allah, no one knew of that but us too.
[3:27] I swear you are truly the Messenger of Allah.
[3:30] And right there in the same city, he came to spill blood, He
[3:35] embraced Islam. The sahaba was stunned.
[3:39] The same man who plotted assassination now bowed in
[3:43] submission. And the Prophet Sallallahu
[3:46] Alayhi Wasallam smiled and said, teach your brother about the
[3:51] religion, free his prisoner son, and let him return to Makkah.
[3:57] Umaya returned, but not with a sword.
[4:01] With Dawah he entered Makkah as a new man.
[4:05] He entered the homes of Quraish and whispered, He is truly the
[4:09] Messenger of Allah. He knew the secrets in my heart.
[4:13] He brought light where there was darkness, and slowly people
[4:18] began to listen. He became a Lantern in the
[4:21] night, guiding others away from hatred, from blood to mercy.
[4:28] And the Quran spoke of men like him.
[4:30] And whoever Allah guides, there is no misleader for him.
[4:34] Surah Azumar, 39 to 37, Umair, once a blade of darkness, now a
[4:40] voice of light. All because Allah knew his heart
[4:44] and planned a meeting he could never escape.
[4:47] This is the story of how a murderer became a believer, of
[4:51] how Allah's mercy catches you even when you run with a sword.
