[0:00] Welcome back to the Box to Box podcast.
[0:02] This is episode 57 and today we're going to be reviewing the
[0:05] Champions League semi finals. The final is set.
[0:08] It's going to be PSG versus Inter.
[0:10] And another entertaining week in the Premier League.
[0:12] The top four race is starting to heat up.
[0:14] And Trabi Alonso joining Real Madrid, where does that leave
[0:17] them for next season? All that and more on the Box to
[0:19] Box Podcast. Let's go.
[0:21] You ain't going home. Your Honor, I'm sorry.
[0:25] Your Honor, I'm sorry. On the pitch and Bangula starts
[0:30] our next game tomorrow. Would you rather saliva and
[0:40] Buffett? Right.
[0:41] Saliva, right? Now.
[0:45] When you lie. Welcome back everyone.
[0:53] Today we've just confirmed that it's the one year anniversary of
[0:56] The Box The Box podcast channel. The channel though, not the
[1:00] actual podcast, because if you've been following since day
[1:03] one, you would know we posted 2 on our main channel just to show
[1:09] our main channel viewers that it's there if you want it to get
[1:11] it started. Yeah.
[1:12] And then we started our our main our podcast channel and wow, a
[1:18] year flies by. It's kind of crazy.
[1:20] Can't believe it, 57 episodes, couple of midweeks in there.
[1:24] Yeah. I mean, it's been a good, a good
[1:26] year, I would say because we even had the the EUR, there's a
[1:29] lot of content in the podcast channel and I think we grew
[1:32] quite exponentially. Yeah, it's kind of it's kind of
[1:35] crazy. I don't know if you guys, but
[1:37] like going on Spotify just clicking on on for us, it's
[1:40] written soccer and you see like your podcast there.
[1:43] So it's kind of like a surreal experience that the podcast is
[1:46] kind of and the grown into this. And I'm always I think podcasts
[1:49] are more of a North American thing.
[1:50] So I don't know if the EU people like follow podcasts as much but
[1:54] like I always listen to podcasts.
[1:56] I don't know, like I feel like if you go on Spotify and you
[1:58] look at our demographics, there's a lot of Swedish, UK.
[2:03] Yes, but it's, it's compared to, let's say our YouTube viewers, a
[2:06] lot, much larger percentage of Americans on the podcast.
[2:11] And it's like if our whole YouTube audience followed us
[2:15] from our main channel to our podcast channel that are
[2:18] Americans but not the whole EU, like let's say every other
[2:21] continent followed us as much as the American.
[2:24] Yeah. Well, yeah, the USI feel like
[2:28] the US audience follows us a lot like through the channels.
[2:31] But I wonder, like I wonder if we have a very distinct follower
[2:35] base between our podcast and our main.
[2:37] Like is there is there viewers that just watch the podcast?
[2:40] Exclusively the podcast, you know what I mean?
[2:42] I'm sure there are because I mean, personally it it sometimes
[2:47] it's difficult to consume different medias.
[2:50] Like usually if you're, if you're traveling a lot, if
[2:52] you're driving a lot, then you're gonna consume a lot more
[2:54] podcasts. But yeah, I'm 57 episodes in and
[3:00] every week it flies by. It's pretty crazy.
[3:02] We only do this once a week really.
[3:03] But if there's like an emergency podcast, we try to try to get it
[3:06] going. But everyone's been on the
[3:08] journey, man, so. Well, there's only been one
[3:09] emergency podcast. No, it was for ballad or winning
[3:12] the ballad door. And then 10 hog socked on the
[3:14] same day. So, but even for the EUR, I
[3:16] think we did some midweek uploads.
[3:17] Yes, but that's that was planned, yeah.
[3:19] It wasn't an emergency. So for that we'll see, maybe
[3:23] this summer Club World Cup, if it delivers to be the tournament
[3:26] that they're saying it's going to.
[3:27] Be, I mean, they're, they're propping it up to be a big thing
[3:29] and even the clubs too, they're getting ready for Club World
[3:32] Cup. They could sign new players like
[3:35] earlier. So yeah, it should be.
[3:37] It should be very entertaining. And also, as you guys could
[3:40] probably see, Paula's not here. He's on vacation in Italy.
[3:43] Got to witness the lots of Juventus.
[3:45] Game. I feel bad for him.
[3:46] Successful hate watch for us. That was very successful, the
[3:49] comfort of my own home yeah, was able to to hate watch so but I'm
[3:53] but he did say that the Olympico was a great great.
[3:56] Vibe, I'm sure you got to witness a a very good atmosphere
[3:59] at least. Yeah, lots of, lots of fans,
[4:00] yeah. Ultras are very animated.
[4:03] Yeah, it's just so depressing seeing like from ATV
[4:07] perspective. I don't say, oh, I wanna be
[4:10] there so bad because this is just an Italian.
[4:14] This is like an Italian league thing in England, every single
[4:18] game is sold out. There's not an.
[4:19] There's not an empty seat in the.
[4:21] Even in Italy almost every game is sold out.
[4:24] Yeah, but the Olympico is tough because it's 60,000 persons, but
[4:27] that's. Why the the Rome, the Well Roma
[4:31] and Lazio, both Roman teams, They need to move into a smaller
[4:34] stadium. Roma specifically are able to
[4:37] sell out the Olympico because it's it's a city.
[4:39] And every game is sold out. Yes, because there there's games
[4:44] that may be warrant more than others but.
[4:46] But you see if if, if let's say, let's say Brentford play
[4:50] Leicester, that game is sold out.
[4:52] How many? But you're looking at the seats.
[4:53] Yeah, it's not as much as the Olympical.
[4:55] Yeah, sure, but because Roma and Lazio don't demand that fan base
[4:59] that the Olympico has in there, they don't demand 60,000 fans.
[5:03] There's not 60. 1000 How many is the Brentford Stadium?
[5:06] I don't. 20,000 there you go. 25,000 yeah, but Roma and Lazio,
[5:10] if they downscale to 40,000 it would create a much better match
[5:14] environment for the fans. Yeah, it's, it's more like
[5:16] they're listen at the end of the day, they're playing in an
[5:18] Olympic Stadium. And I do think that makes a
[5:19] difference because the fans aren't as close and people
[5:22] actually prefer in those stadiums with the with the court
[5:26] around, like the around, they prefer to sit higher up because
[5:30] the seating like the view that you get, like if you're sitting
[5:33] right in the front row in those stadiums, it's very, very poor.
[5:36] That is true. So a lot more people like to set
[5:39] a bit higher up to watch the game better.
[5:40] But I do agree that on television when you only see the
[5:44] first ring that it doesn't look as appealing.
[5:47] But when you're there in person, it's it's insane.
[5:49] It's an amazing stadium. Gorgeous stadium, like I've been
[5:54] there. It's not like like the issue is,
[5:57] is that, and this is obviously a one in a million, like it's like
[6:02] you're talking about the best of the best.
[6:03] But like you go to a Real Madrid game at the new Bernabeu and I I
[6:07] know you can't compare because that's like a state-of-the-art.
[6:11] It's a new stadium, but the feeling there was that Real
[6:16] Madrid played Athletic Bilbao. It's like you were stepping into
[6:19] like the Mecca of football and you were like, like the game was
[6:23] so hyped up. Even though it was just a
[6:25] regular Real Madrid versus Athletic Bilbao game, you were
[6:28] so excited because of how the stadium made you feel and how
[6:31] close you are to the match and stuff like that.
[6:34] Meanwhile I went to the Olympico, I watched Lazio UV,
[6:37] literally the game that went to watch.
[6:39] What was your result? It was, I believe it was a draw.
[6:42] Well, or you they win one nil. I don't, I don't remember
[6:45] exactly what it was, but the fact I don't even remember makes
[6:50] me like yeah. But bro.
[6:52] It wasn't it wasn't, it was an it was obviously a nice, but if
[6:55] I'm not a football die hard, I would never.
[6:57] I wouldn't tell someone you need to go to a game in Rome like I
[7:02] would never. I would if.
[7:03] Someone. No.
[7:04] But like, let's say, let's say, let's say someone who doesn't
[7:07] follow, like let's say a hockey fan, friend of ours, let's say
[7:10] he goes to Rome. I would not tell him you need to
[7:12] go to a game. Definitely.
[7:13] No, but it's a completely if. If he goes to Madrid, I'm
[7:17] telling him, bro, you need to go watch a Real Madrid game.
[7:21] If you go to Rome, it's not you need to go watch.
[7:23] If someone go, if someone ends up in Dortmund, I'm going to
[7:25] tell them you need to go watch a Dortmund game.
[7:28] It's not, it's not the feeling I get for Italian teams.
[7:30] Maybe, maybe you get that for UV and the Milan teams, but every
[7:34] other team you don't have that feeling of oh, you need to.
[7:36] Go, I'd argue, I'd argue Roma has probably the best feeling in
[7:40] all of Italy, no of of what you're viewing.
[7:43] You could argue that the infrastructure is not that good
[7:45] because obviously the stadium is not made to play football like
[7:48] it's a, it's an Olympic Stadium, you know what I mean?
[7:50] So obviously you could, I'd say, oh, it's, it's not a nice
[7:53] viewing because there's the track around it or the seats are
[7:56] dirty. It's not, it's unique.
[7:59] No, it's not. But OK, if if I can see empty
[8:03] seats that means that. OK, but they also want to watch
[8:06] Lazio. Lazio is different from Roma.
[8:08] OK, sure. Even if that's true, like it is
[8:12] true but OK, you're Romas are not selling out every 60,000
[8:16] every single. Mainly go to me and selling out.
[8:19] PSG quite full PSG packed a price.
[8:22] It's sold out every single game. You go to Paris.
[8:24] You I tell you, you need to go watch a.
[8:26] Paris yes, that's that's what happens when a team has two
[8:28] losses in a in a season and they're in A and that's.
[8:31] Even worse that's, you know, PSG is gonna win on the weekend.
[8:34] At least Roma you get to watch in a close game or last year you
[8:37] get to watch a close game. And it's not like PSG have like
[8:40] they have good players. It's not like they have an
[8:42] Mbappe anymore like that. It makes you oh you need to go
[8:45] watch Mbappe. Yeah, but I don't know, I, I in
[8:48] Rome, in Rome, it's like every time you go to a say, let's say
[8:51] like Rome in Italy, the maybe there's a bias because we're.
[8:55] Italian, yeah. But it's like the first thing
[8:57] I'm doing is OK, like where if there's a game, I I would.
[9:00] Want you are Italian and a yes you.
[9:02] Are just. I just stated that I.
[9:03] Am no, but you aren't biased. You aren't the people filling in
[9:07] the 60,000 like you're. Talking in the in in a tourist.
[9:10] Perspective, yes, you will go if Roma play fucking leche or if
[9:14] Roma play enter. There's no difference.
[9:17] There obviously is because you're an Interfan, but for that
[9:19] you're just want to go watch a game.
[9:21] Yes, for people who let's say and Rome is a Rome is a massive
[9:25] tourist city for the tourists coming in, it's not on their
[9:29] agenda that they need to go watch a Rome game.
[9:31] Because there's a billion other things to do in Rome.
[9:33] It's not like why? But but when you go to audio
[9:37] audio list, there's might have just gotten a a piece of firms
[9:40] shoulder if you're if. But the difference is that Paris
[9:43] is a massive tourist city and when you go to those games, it's
[9:46] a lot of tourists at that game that's a can't miss experience
[9:50] compared to. Rome.
[9:51] Every time I've been to the Roma Stadium, I've had tourists next
[9:53] to me. Every time I've heard English.
[9:56] Speakers yes, I I agree that there are some there.
[9:59] There's a lot. It should be sold out every
[10:01] weekend. It is quite full.
[10:03] I'm not saying sold out because the stadium is huge, but when
[10:05] Roma. Was when Roma was competing for
[10:09] like maybe 10 years ago or so, and even that CL, that CL semi
[10:13] final team, that era of Rome that was selling out every.
[10:18] Week the issue The issue is that we live in a social media era
[10:22] and if an event is not sold out, people view it as as like a dead
[10:26] event. But but The thing is, is that
[10:27] yes, if they. Wanted.
[10:28] You can't tell me that's not true.
[10:29] But if they wanted to, they just let's say they decide that the
[10:34] 3/4 of the top rings are not for sale.
[10:37] Everyone is has to be pushed down.
[10:40] But on television, then it doesn't.
[10:42] Look, doesn't matter about like, it's not about television.
[10:44] First you tell me that like. If I show up in person and I see
[10:47] 2 fucking massive rings just completely empty I'll be like oh
[10:52] they weren't able to sell. I'm really curious on the stats
[10:54] because the way you make it sound, you make it sound like
[10:56] there's no one at the stadium. Makes it sound like there's
[10:58] 15,000 people, others it's. Search them up 'cause I Like
[11:01] Roma has been packed this year. Even like third or fourth I
[11:04] think and always in. Italy always they could be
[11:06] fucking last in the league. They'll they'll still have the
[11:08] attendance up there, yes, it's just that's the aura of the
[11:10] club. But but.
[11:11] Attend because they have a 60,000 seat stadium.
[11:14] Obviously their attendance is gonna be bigger than, let's say,
[11:16] a A fucking a Napoli whose stadium is a lot smaller.
[11:20] It's actually quite big actually is the third largest stadium in
[11:23] Italy. Yeah, behind.
[11:24] So then. So then what's like?
[11:25] Atlanta obviously gonna have a bigger attendance than Atlanta
[11:29] because Atlanta Stadium is a fucking small ass.
[11:31] What is your because. But Atlanta is probably a better
[11:33] match experience than Roma because their stadiums sold out.
[11:38] No I don't. I wouldn't tell a tourist to go
[11:40] to Betagamo specifically, but. If you're in Betagamo, I would
[11:43] tell them one of the main things to do.
[11:45] I'd like to know why you're in Betagamo.
[11:47] I'd like, I'd really like to know why there's really nothing
[11:49] there. There's nothing.
[11:50] To do like Como's right there, OK?
[11:52] Como, you're in Milan like you're, you're yeah, that's
[11:55] crazy. But but Olympico is the third
[11:57] largest stadium in Italy, so let that yeah.
[11:59] Or second largest story. Olympico's second largest,
[12:02] Maradona's third largest. So Sensito's the largest.
[12:05] Sensito's the largest so to say that like all they they don't
[12:09] sell out, that's a problem. OK, that's one thing that's one
[12:12] side of the coin. Yeah.
[12:13] But the fact that they do bring in 4045 fifty 55,000 people
[12:19] shows that there is there is a demand for.
[12:21] The on on average 12% of the stadiums empty.
[12:25] OK. How?
[12:25] How much? One out of every 10 seats.
[12:27] That's a lot. That's six.
[12:28] There's 62,000 average that's that's a lot of people.
[12:31] That's a lot of every single Prem club.
[12:33] It's 100% so the match. About 100% of 20,000.
[12:37] Sure, but the 20,000 will feel like a lot better match
[12:40] experience for the 20,000 showing up than the 62,000 with,
[12:44] well, crazy. It's it's not crazy.
[12:46] Bro you have 60,000 people. Around doesn't matter, just
[12:49] more. I come to a Montreal Canadiens
[12:51] game that's 20 what, 23,000? Yeah, it was a better match.
[12:54] Experience, it was a better match experience than going to
[12:58] Latio and it was probably it was probably double the amount of.
[13:02] People, you don't believe that? I do believe that it was not
[13:04] even close to Real Madrid match experience, but it was two
[13:07] different, but it was much better the the, the tension that
[13:11] I felt as a viewer. There was much better for a
[13:14] Montreal Canadiens game and I oh wait, a lot more immersed in the
[13:18] match. Of Montreal, OK, yeah, I thought
[13:20] you said CF Montreal as an OK, but Montreal Canadiens, it's
[13:24] it's hockey, it's different. Like no, it's not different
[13:28] because. You think is is is an is like a
[13:31] a 20th of a soccer field. Yeah.
[13:33] And then the the seats are literally.
[13:35] By the ring you of. Course it means something.
[13:37] You you have a skewed experience because you've only been to a
[13:40] statue Olympico, you've only been to you've San Cito, you've
[13:44] only been to these big stadiums where you're so far from the
[13:47] pitch. Go to a Real Madrid game and you
[13:50] realize that this that these match experience.
[13:52] Put it on my itinerary, don't worry.
[13:54] No problem. You realize that these match
[13:55] experiences, yes, are so worsened by the fact that you're
[14:01] far from the pitch, you feel disconnected?
[14:03] Well, no matter. I did not feel disconnected when
[14:05] I was since you know that is you're a.
[14:07] Fan. You're a fan of the club, That's
[14:08] different. I could go watch Manchester
[14:10] United to play fucking LA Galaxy in a preseason match and I'd be
[14:12] rooting for. No, that's a lie.
[14:14] That's a lie. But.
[14:15] Not a lot, yeah. You'll be rooting for them.
[14:17] You're trying. To tell me you're trying.
[14:18] To tell me no. The use of rooting them, I'm not
[14:21] arguing that, but the atmosphere.
[14:23] This is something that Italian. Went on ACL semis also which no
[14:28] matter where you are that's going to be a the banger of a
[14:30] match. Of course, but go again.
[14:32] That was the greatest atmosphere I've ever seen in my life.
[14:34] Against inter versus leche I went to.
[14:36] Inter versus, I went to inter versus.
[14:37] We won four, two that stadium at 75,000 people watching that game
[14:40] before. You've only you've only you've
[14:43] only been and this isn't to slight you you've only been to
[14:46] like three matches, no. What is that?
[14:49] What the fuck does the best do is fear?
[14:51] Why do you have to bear credit the.
[14:52] Other no every. Single person that he's going,
[14:55] that was the greatest atmosphere he's seen that as.
[14:57] He's going from from Inter CL semi final is the best
[15:01] atmosphere I've ever been to. You're comparing it to Inter
[15:04] versus Sasolo and like Roma versus Bologna?
[15:07] What the fuck did you guys go watch Latzio versus?
[15:09] Bologna. Yeah, but that's why this you.
[15:12] Can't. It's not comparable.
[15:14] To what? What am I supposed to do Have.
[15:15] Nothing to compare it to to. Brentford I went to see have
[15:18] Montreal games, I went to Hobbs games, Every team that you've
[15:21] you've met. I agree CL semi is better than
[15:24] the Montreal Canadiens game. We're not debating that we're
[15:27] the IT is obviously the best game you've ever been to like.
[15:30] But then, then at his defense, you have not been to a Roma
[15:34] game, you've been to a. Been to a Real Madrid game?
[15:37] You've been to a Real Madrid game, but how do you, how do you
[15:39] compare that? Because you you haven't seen the
[15:40] rest. It's been a lot better than
[15:42] every single match experience I've been to.
[15:44] Have you seen a? Have you seen an English game?
[15:46] Have you seen a Sancido I? Haven't seen an English.
[15:48] But I'm sure from from what television shows me, I'm sure
[15:52] going to a Liverpool. Do I watch television?
[15:54] A Liverpool game looks a lot better, better than a a Milan
[15:59] game or an Inter game. It looks a lot better in more
[16:02] quality sphere match, both from atmosphere and quality.
[16:06] But that's what I'm saying. Sure, I'll give it.
[16:07] Obviously Liverpool is a better team.
[16:09] Forget the quality, fuck the quality for a second.
[16:11] Because fear I I heart like I need to go watch a Liverpool
[16:14] game live. But I would say no.
[16:16] From what I've seen in San Cedo, that's what I see on television.
[16:19] That's. Crazy.
[16:20] No, I don't. Think that's absolutely insane?
[16:22] No, be honest, but that's OK. No, I really don't think so.
[16:25] But that's what I'm saying now. It's now you're talking about
[16:28] television again. So then, then that's why I'm
[16:30] saying, OK, then push the fans frontwards, keep them, keep them
[16:34] in the front. Atmosphere would be much if they
[16:36] averaged 62,000 attendance in 70, they should make them.
[16:39] They should make it 55,000 packed every single game.
[16:44] You might miss out on a bit of money from ticket sales, but the
[16:47] match atmosphere will be. You could, you could.
[16:49] Honestly as a fan you could if you make it 55,000 but it's
[16:52] packed every game. Surcharge me that so so.
[16:55] Wait, I don't care. Your logic is if it's 50,000 but
[16:59] it's 100% sold out. It's a better atmosphere than
[17:02] 70,000, but 12%. 60,000 but but 70,000 capacity, yes, the better
[17:09] atmosphere. You have more people
[17:11] automatically. It'll be more as a fan if you
[17:14] see empty seats. It makes it feel like a much
[17:16] less important game that that's just the.
[17:19] That's just to the extent, yeah, OK.
[17:21] If one out of every. Seven seats.
[17:23] That you see is empty but but you're.
[17:27] Not you're not counting 1234567123567 it's but.
[17:31] It makes it feel less important if there's empty seats in the
[17:34] stadium, makes it makes it feel just like a regular match.
[17:38] Every time I've been I didn't see empty seats.
[17:41] I don't know. You're telling me lots of
[17:43] Bologna there weren't empty? Seats.
[17:44] Lots of Bologna, yes, but that's not a big game.
[17:46] Bro, but once again, if you go to the Premier League, Brentford
[17:50] versus fucking Leicester, there's no empty seats.
[17:52] Cause it's but that's a 20,000. You just said it 25,000.
[17:55] That's a much better atmosphere than 50,000 at Latio.
[17:58] Oh, we're not we're OK. We've we've gone soft.
[18:01] The topic anyways, it was also Mother's Day this weekend, so
[18:03] shout out to all the mothers that's.
[18:04] Why it's coming out a. Little none of them are watching
[18:06] but. But maybe ours are.
[18:08] So listen, we love you. My my mom was at a Latio Aroma
[18:11] game, so she enjoyed that. A banger.
[18:13] She could. That's a banger.
[18:14] But you see that I could 1000 people full stadium.
[18:17] That's a banger. I agree 70,000. 70,000 Yeah,
[18:20] the. Capacity is 70,000.
[18:22] I keep that. Crazy.
[18:23] But that's you see that's that's probably an insane match
[18:26] atmosphere because there's stakes to it.
[18:28] Yeah. Compared to a a latch of
[18:30] Bologna, there's no most fan bases don't care.
[18:32] But like compare that to an English Premier League game.
[18:35] The the it's fans are chanting all the time.
[18:39] So it's an Italy capacity stadium.
[18:41] Italy chats. More than it's than England,
[18:43] but. A regular match in England is
[18:45] much better than a regular match in Italy.
[18:48] That is such a hot take. It's not a hot take.
[18:51] But I think that's time to go to the Champions League.
[18:53] And there was. Those are atmospheres.
[18:56] Yes, but I mean CL Semi, you can't have a bad atmosphere.
[19:00] It seemed like Arsenal, maybe a bit, but yeah.
[19:02] Arsenal's TFO, Yeah, I think we already talked about.
[19:04] That maybe that was the first game.
[19:05] The second game, Park the Prince showed up.
[19:07] True Park. The Prince definitely showed up.
[19:08] You want to start with Arsenal, Piagir, Inter, Barcelona.
[19:11] We could, we could do it in in order, like it's not really an
[19:14] issue, but like first game was Interbarsa.
[19:17] But a movie? That was the best, best game
[19:20] I've ever seen. The best CL tie I've ever
[19:22] watched. The best semi final CL tie.
[19:25] No, the best tie I've ever watched.
[19:27] I think there's got to be some. But can you name this one off
[19:30] the bottom of your head? No.
[19:31] Maybe, maybe people. Liverpool corner taking quickly.
[19:34] But people were saying about. Champions League semi finals or
[19:37] just Champions League? Champions League tie like the
[19:39] both legs. They were saying City Royale 4/3
[19:44] and then Real Madrid re Montara. Yeah, the last, yeah.
[19:47] This was better than my personal opinion because it was back and
[19:50] forth like it was like oh, inter are going to go through, bars
[19:53] are going to go through, Inter are going to go through, bars
[19:55] are going to go through. Like down to the like, yes, Real
[19:58] Madrid went down to the last minute too, but this one at the
[20:01] extra time. And then yeah, yeah, personally,
[20:04] this was the best Inter game. Well, 22 games, but this is the
[20:07] best Inter game specifically that I've ever watched.
[20:11] I've never had a roller coaster of emotions like that ever.
[20:15] Like there were games, yes, maybe in the league where we
[20:17] came back, or I remember there was some Milan Derby
[20:20] specifically that like we came back, but nothing, nothing,
[20:24] nothing topped this. I thought Byron was a close
[20:26] call. This was even closer.
[20:28] Yeah, this was on a different level.
[20:30] And just just the will of the players, as soon as the final
[20:35] whistle blew, they all collapsed.
[20:37] Like they they literally gave everything.
[20:38] They had what's crazy really is that they tried to discredit our
[20:41] players hour like they tried like like firms.
[20:45] We were having this debate on the weekend bro.
[20:47] Like he tried to discredit Lautano Martinez, like compare
[20:50] him to Leal. It's just some.
[20:53] Listen, I'm not I, I told Millie, I told every Interfan,
[20:57] not including Varva, because he's not an Interfan.
[21:00] I've told that Inter deserve to go through.
[21:03] I've seen Barcelona fans say all the referee they were against
[21:06] us. To be honest, I didn't see
[21:08] anything wrong with it. I I thought the ref was quite
[21:11] fair. Maybe there was some some calls
[21:13] that went the other way, but that's normal in every Champions
[21:15] League game I find and Inter truly showed resilience and they
[21:18] went through. A power of ugly.
[21:20] Worst world class. No bro, I can't believe
[21:24] Chalanoglu is called world class now.
[21:26] I cannot believe. Now he's been called world
[21:28] class. That's even worse.
[21:30] I don't know how that's worse, because you can't tell me that
[21:32] there's a lot of CMS that are better than ever had.
[21:35] For Turkey at the EUR also, so it's not even just an interview
[21:38] Turkey that finished fourth. I don't think they Turkey was
[21:42] horrendous. The Euros, no, they were
[21:44] horrendous the last time before that there's the Merrill they
[21:47] actually made. I think the quarterfinals are
[21:49] the, I don't. I don't remember specifically,
[21:50] but that was the Guler and Yodis in Chelano show Captain of
[21:53] Turkey by the. Show anyways there's there's CMS
[21:56] that are better than Shanogo, but I won't discredit inter I
[21:59] think inter played quite well and to beat Barcelona it took
[22:03] for Barcelona to lose it took a generational game from inter
[22:06] let's put it that way no it. Generation Generational
[22:08] mismanagement by Hansi Flick. Because once again, like I said,
[22:12] this highline, it will be it will it what makes you amazing,
[22:16] but it will be the death of you at the same time.
[22:18] Agreed. Because yes, the highline is you
[22:21] when it when it works, it's so amazing.
[22:24] But there's no reason for you to be playing a highline in the
[22:27] last minutes of a Champions League semi finals when you're
[22:30] up a goal. There's none when your players
[22:32] are tired. I rewatched it.
[22:33] I rewatched it and there was the the play right before the
[22:36] Achetabi goal where Yamal cut in and shot and got like AI think
[22:41] he hit the post. That was the shot that he hit
[22:43] the post and PED that he was basically telling him slow the
[22:45] plays like he was telling him slow down, go for the flag, go
[22:48] for the corner flag. But then he ended up cutting in
[22:50] like I understand that Yamau like.
[22:52] He look at shot this. Guy's this guy's generational.
[22:54] Let's just Kelly Gador Cage Gador like, and I think this
[22:57] game really woke everyone up like to show the level of how
[23:01] good he truly is and the fact that this may not even be a
[23:04] ceiling. But but what's crazy is that I
[23:07] have some friends of mine who aren't even fans of football and
[23:11] they caught you and they're like, bro, I mean, Yamal is so
[23:13] good. Yeah, now there's people,
[23:15] casuals now. Like like, like they're, they
[23:18] don't. Even one of my friends knows
[23:21] probably 5 players ever total. Yeah.
[23:24] And he's like, bro, Lamin Yamal is the the best player.
[23:27] He's the best bro. There was a lot of eyes on this
[23:30] game, even from casuals who don't really watch Inter, who
[23:33] don't really watch Barcelona. I feel like it was a good game
[23:35] to watch. Maybe not even watch football.
[23:37] Yeah, maybe don't even watch football.
[23:39] Maybe watching this game because of the amount of hype that it
[23:41] had. So like, I'm very I'm happy that
[23:44] we inter ended up on the the good end of it, the positive end
[23:48] yeah, of that. But what's crazy is that after
[23:50] this tie, even though inter make it to a seal final, the talk is
[23:54] la min Yamal that that I think that's what comes out.
[23:57] So I mean, you did. Have a maximum.
[23:58] Bigger than Inter. No, no, no.
[24:00] Well, it's just like it was such a, it was such, it was such a
[24:03] generational performance from him that like people, people had
[24:07] to and. He didn't even have a goal or
[24:08] assist. He had an assist.
[24:11] No, he didn't. Nothing.
[24:12] The second leg, he didn't get a goal or assist.
[24:14] Yeah, it's true, but producer T was saying that it was one of
[24:17] the best performances from a winger he's ever seen and.
[24:19] He didn't even get a goal or assist.
[24:21] Crazy and producer T reveal coming soon.
[24:24] Final soon. He's going.
[24:27] He he, he gave the green light for it to thank God. 31st
[24:30] blocked that date off. He there, he did.
[24:32] He did. Oh well yeah for sure interplay
[24:35] in the CL final but. My book is going to be front
[24:37] rows, front row seats. Yeah, yeah.
[24:39] So, yeah. But Inzaghi, I have to give him
[24:42] his credit. He he made the necessary
[24:44] changes. He brought on Fratasi, he
[24:47] brought on Zielinski, he brought on players that made the
[24:48] difference at the end. Achebe, unsung hero.
[24:51] Yeah. Who who decided to just go up at
[24:54] a random time and. It's so funny casuals catching
[24:57] on to Achebe now. Like there's bro, I saw Gary
[25:02] Neville. I, I think I sent it to you
[25:04] guys, that right wing back there for into, I think we need them
[25:08] at Manchester United. Dumfries, the Dunzl Dumfries
[25:10] gimmick. That's that's that's what you're
[25:13] calling it. Bro I I really can't stress we
[25:16] cannot sign Dumfries. I think if Dumfries.
[25:18] Joined Man United, he will be like he's.
[25:21] A specialist. He's a specialist.
[25:23] It's like, it's like DeMarco. I told Millie, like I'm not the
[25:27] biggest DeMarco fan, but best luck.
[25:28] Filler of all time. But I didn't say best.
[25:31] Luck. Best left foot in the.
[25:33] World getting so skewed. And it was so funny words.
[25:36] No, listen, what did what did Billy say?
[25:38] I didn't say best left foots for goals and assists.
[25:41] And I'm like, yeah, he's the best at tackling with his left
[25:43] foot also. Like your mouth doesn't exist.
[25:46] Crazy. But yeah, Dumfries is the wing
[25:50] backs in in Zaggy's system for me are pure system players.
[25:54] But those were players that that were wing backs before interest
[25:58] well. Yes, yes, but only.
[25:59] The wing backs. I, I think I think there's a lot
[26:02] more class in the center backs and midfielders than there are
[26:06] in the wing backs. Like I think the wing backs are
[26:08] easily replaceable. I don't know if you can go out
[26:10] and replace a chalonel glue, but I'll a Bastoni you can't.
[26:15] You can't replace. That depends how much you spend.
[26:18] Bastoni no, but Ella, no. Like the in my in my personal
[26:23] opinion if inter sold Dumfries let's say for 40 mil this summer
[26:26] you're getting A and bought Frimpong for 35 who
[26:29] significantly upgraded and made money.
[26:31] Agreed. It's it's tough because yes,
[26:36] Frimpong is, is very, very good at his position.
[26:38] He would fit Inter, but Dumfries has been at enter for 3/4.
[26:42] Years. They're speaking about Dumfries
[26:43] in the streets of Barcelona like King.
[26:45] Von King von. What is Satan's greatest
[26:49] soldier? Satan's greatest soldier.
[26:52] Some some people that you are glad that they got that type of
[26:58] talk, but I don't know I, I'm he's finally getting into that
[27:02] that group of top tier wing box and it's taken a while and he's
[27:07] gotten a lot of hate from interfrance for at least a year
[27:10] or two right now. But brother, the fact that we
[27:13] brought him in as a Hakimi replacement.
[27:15] Yeah. But the issue, the issue for me
[27:17] is that you go and you watch Hakimi the next day and you
[27:21] realize the gulf in class, but the goals and assists that
[27:24] Dumfries gets against Barcelona, while he's still a he's still a
[27:28] good player. Yeah, of course.
[27:29] But the public perception, like I'm sure when we come the end of
[27:33] the season, the people who didn't watch Dumfries for the
[27:35] last four years will come out and tell you, well, he was a top
[27:37] three right back in the world. He's.
[27:39] So good against Barcelona. Yeah, three right back in the
[27:41] world. Yeah, that'll be the
[27:42] conversation. That'll be the conversation,
[27:44] which I'm, I'm not really like for.
[27:47] I've always been harsh on Dumfries because he has costed
[27:50] US points in the past and he has not given us good appearances.
[27:54] So yeah, I'm I'm glad that he's showing up at the perfect time.
[27:58] I'm glad all these players are showing up at the right.
[28:00] Summer 2 Man of the match with Summer conceding three goals but
[28:04] still getting man of the match because of the goals that he he
[28:08] prevented. The brother was insane.
[28:10] Yeah, like insane. What was a *?
[28:12] Pepe Maratha, I don't know how you I don't know how this guy I
[28:16] don't like, don't take it as a diss.
[28:17] I don't know how he's still at Inter and didn't get like Real
[28:19] Madrid or like. Real Madrid, yeah.
[28:22] He's always stayed. He's a club president.
[28:24] Now yes, but bro, like this guy is the greatest squad builder of
[28:28] our generation, yes Yeah he is in any league.
[28:32] At least he's the best. Squad builder in the world?
[28:34] No in the world. In the world, the only debate.
[28:36] The only debate I would have is maybe Liverpool's Edwards
[28:41] because bro. He's built some pretty good
[28:42] teams. Bro, he built that Liverpool
[28:44] squad from scratch and that that's a ridiculous team and and
[28:47] the second he comes back, they win the Prem again.
[28:49] So like that. That's that's definitely one
[28:51] that I'd argue. But Beppe Marotta, bro, how do
[28:53] you do this with such little money?
[28:55] Like it's it's and and signing players like Achedbe who like
[29:00] yes, they've made team of the season in Cydia in the past, but
[29:02] like no one really rated like that.
[29:05] And then you sign them for how much did they sign them for free
[29:08] for free? No, I think it was like it was
[29:10] like a. Couple million or like 2, but.
[29:12] But even who cares? That's basically free.
[29:14] Yeah, us broke motherfuckers. That's basically free.
[29:19] I want to. Give it to.
[29:21] I can't be here's another tool. Just just bonus.
[29:25] But yeah, the the understanding that he has a football and
[29:31] dynamics is crazy. Like, like has he?
[29:37] What's his what's his hit rate, you think on signings at Inter
[29:40] like 90 percent, 95? I would I would give him like a
[29:43] an 80%. No, I I'd argue it's.
[29:45] Higher. Well, because.
[29:46] Who has been a miss in the, let's say, like last three
[29:49] years? No one.
[29:50] Well, no like. Aslani.
[29:52] Tajon Buchanan. I'd say that's but.
[29:53] Tajon Buchanan, you signed and you sold them for like almost as
[29:56] much as you signed them for. So you need a miss.
[29:58] I know, but it's just like it was wasted opportunity.
[30:01] But he came as a backup. He left as a backup.
[30:03] Like it's not. Bro he wasn't even a good backup
[30:05] that's the problem. Maybe taremi Arnautovic.
[30:07] I would say Arnautovic is a big mess even though like MIL that's
[30:10] the problem. I'd argue Arnautovic was not a
[30:12] miss. No, brother, it's a good squad
[30:14] that we, we, we paid 1010 to 12 million for this brother.
[30:17] And then we're, we're paying him like 3-4 million a year.
[30:19] Like, but that's a guy that you were expecting to get maybe
[30:22] multiple seasons of like maybe 10 goals to just at least help.
[30:26] He has ten goals this. Season, yeah, but last season I
[30:28] think he had maybe 3 or 4 like he had a.
[30:30] Very didn't play that corea. Corea.
[30:32] Huge biggest. His biggest miss?
[30:33] Yeah, because Korea, Korea saw the discourse this weekend when
[30:37] Inter was playing Torino terrible.
[30:39] They were saying like, basically this brother is the only player
[30:43] that joined Inter and just got worse.
[30:44] Yeah, because everyone else, like you look at a Migatarian
[30:47] who Aroma wasn't that good, he joins Inter, becomes insane.
[30:50] You look at the chair, we were talking about everybody else
[30:52] that joined Inter that was falling off.
[30:55] Became good like we speak about his like we're speaking about
[30:57] his negatives and we're literally fine like picking the
[31:00] smallest negatives. I know signings if you go.
[31:04] And bro he signed Bastoni, Varela, Taram and Mick and
[31:08] Chalanagu for less than 100 mil combined.
[31:11] Pretty much, yes. Good.
[31:13] That's and DeMarco, you can even add in there and it's still less
[31:16] than 100 mil. Yeah.
[31:17] You got to buy him back. That's how ridiculous these
[31:20] signs have been. Dumfries, you have to resign.
[31:22] Yes, sign Pavard, he signed. Like that's why it begs the
[31:25] question like imagine this guy went to a Real Madrid or a Man
[31:28] City or something and had actual money to spend.
[31:31] This guy also built the UVA team that won Scudetto for 10 years.
[31:34] It took him moving to another team to beat that UVA team so.
[31:38] We'll see next year when he has. Money.
[31:40] Yeah, yeah. Now, now, this is the first, the
[31:42] real mercato that we've had since he since basically his
[31:46] first season when we signed like Lukaku signed, Barela signed all
[31:50] those players, we spent all. Back in the summer, I mean, you
[31:53] still have ACL finals play, so we shouldn't even be talking
[31:55] about this summer. But like in the summer, what
[31:57] what what positions you expect him to sign?
[31:59] I'm expecting at least another striker.
[32:01] I know Jonathan David's getting some Napoli I.
[32:05] See Napoli to be honest and I see Konte going to A352 with him
[32:09] and. I I do see him honestly at
[32:10] Napoli because it's it's a better suited player and I think
[32:13] he's gonna have more game time at Napoli than at Inter.
[32:16] I'm in the Champions League 2. Yeah, I don't he.
[32:18] Would be he would be a backup of Lautaro, yeah.
[32:20] He'd be 1/3 striker and I think he's looking for more playing
[32:22] time so I don't know. We'll we'll see what happens.
[32:25] I'd look for another midfielder as well to.
[32:28] Replace I've always like come to mind.
[32:29] I've always liked Samuel Larici. I don't think he played like
[32:32] particularly great. The Milan fan you would you want
[32:34] Milan fans in your squad? Brother you, how many interisty
[32:37] you you have you used to have? Used to have.
[32:40] Used to have purely by the way. Yeah.
[32:43] Bro look how it work these players don't have favorite
[32:47] team. No, they they're professional.
[32:48] Like Samuel. Larici, if he joins Inter, give
[32:51] him one or two months. He's going to fall in love with
[32:53] Inter and be on Interisty. Like I, I think I don't.
[32:56] Know about that? But they're professionals.
[32:58] They'll keep doing their job. Yeah, they get paid.
[33:00] Yeah, they get paid for their work.
[33:01] But yeah, I'd see definitely someone with a Richie and then a
[33:04] center, center back. I I apparently Inter's looking
[33:06] to keep a Cherby and DeVry, which is like, yeah, but that
[33:09] would do a little shaky. I'll shaky this season, so I
[33:12] don't know, maybe one more center back and then I'd keep
[33:16] summer for another season and then maybe Donna Ruma. 20262026
[33:22] See that's a that's a big interfund, if that all.
[33:24] Lines up. How big of a snake has done in
[33:27] Ruma if he joins Inter? Like is he biggest snake in
[33:29] Milan history? Potentially.
[33:30] Possibly. Maybe bro?
[33:32] Who's your who's the comparable? Like who's the other one?
[33:35] I'd argue Donna Ruma disrespect would be more than Shala.
[33:40] Donna. Shala bro, he's Turkish like.
[33:42] He has no affinity for Milan like.
[33:45] Like you're talking about a premium player since he was like
[33:48] since he put on. Said I would never, I would
[33:50] never leave Milan. I find I find moving because it
[33:54] wasn't direct from Milan to Inter, you know what I mean?
[33:58] He went to PSG, he went to a better team for more money.
[34:02] So. And then he goes to Inter.
[34:04] Yeah, which is I don't understand why you would take a
[34:07] pay cut. First of all, doesn't make
[34:09] sense. But it's not pay cut.
[34:10] It's more like I feel like just European teams have realized we
[34:15] like we can get multiple like goalies other than Onana, like
[34:20] goalies are easy to. Replace.
[34:22] I agree. So they don't need to pay high
[34:24] wages for goalies. You would you demand 9 mil?
[34:28] It's a lot. That's not that much, but.
[34:30] For an Italian Italian #1. For an Italian international #1
[34:33] goalkeeper, it's not that much. It's good to bring it back to.
[34:35] And if he's free, you can definitely justify 9 mil.
[34:38] Yeah, we'll see. I would say so.
[34:39] And then what 3-4 or five out of the of the Italian national team
[34:44] starters would? Be both.
[34:44] Think about it, if you sign him for 9 mil on a five year
[34:47] contract that's 45 mil all in. They're included.
[34:50] You're telling me dunder room is not worth 45 mil at least?
[34:53] It's just more like, I think he earns like something crazy at
[34:56] PSG, so why not like what they're?
[34:59] Even if you offer him 12 mil, that's still a 60 mil package
[35:02] total. Like you're telling me you
[35:04] can't? You can't justify 60 mil for a.
[35:07] For a number one this. Brother's got another 10-10
[35:09] years left. That's basically likes re
[35:11] signing Onana and giving him a a 30 mil contract over five years.
[35:15] It's good. It's like it's the equivalent.
[35:17] You're better off going down to NUMA and for for higher wages.
[35:19] So that's the Beppe Morata special bro.
[35:21] The only one he missed on and I don't even know I think he might
[35:24] have left by that time. So I'm not even gonna pin it on
[35:26] him completely, but Aaron Ramsey for fucking 400 KA week.
[35:30] I. Yeah, I don't think.
[35:32] I think he left. By that time.
[35:34] That's Jim Tolley, I'm pretty sure.
[35:35] No, no, Jim Tolley. Tolley just joined.
[35:38] No, because because he was the understudy of Marotta.
[35:42] I'm pretty sure no. He wasn't.
[35:44] Double check, but he he was the under.
[35:46] No, sorry, not Jim Tolley. It was the guy at, it's the guy
[35:48] at Napoli now. What's his name?
[35:51] But it's not totally. I'm.
[35:54] Not forgetting his name. I'm forgetting his name.
[35:55] Not gently, sorry. No, I, I don't know.
[35:57] He's not a. Director right now he.
[35:59] Was the understudy of Marotta and then he became sporting
[36:01] director when Marotta left. It's a mana, mana, mana.
[36:04] No, no. Mana.
[36:06] No, it's not. Anyways, it doesn't really
[36:08] matter. I think it's mana, but let me
[36:09] check Giovanni Mana, yeah. I don't think that's.
[36:13] It Yeah, it is. Tottenham.
[36:14] It was Tottenham's Paratichi. Paratichi.
[36:17] Oh yeah, it was. Paratichi, sorry, that's for
[36:19] Ramsey. Yeah, I think, but.
[36:21] I would I would fucking arrest that guy if he sold Ramsey for
[36:24] if you bought Ramsey for 400 KA week also so.
[36:26] Yeah, that was but. But yeah, definitely, definitely
[36:28] excited for Inter to be in the Champions League final that's
[36:31] gonna be. One of the and Barsa.
[36:33] And Barsa deserves their. They just gave a Hansi flick an
[36:36] extension. Also deserved.
[36:38] Deserved it. Definitely deserved.
[36:39] I agree. And now that Barsa's season's
[36:41] over, I can give them a bit of flowers.
[36:42] Thank God, I mean, we may. Definitely definitely a good
[36:44] team this season, definitely one I was afraid of even though I
[36:47] would never admit it publicly. Definitely a team that I thought
[36:51] could win the Champions League. I think I have an argument for
[36:55] being like, like we always say, oh the best team always wins the
[36:58] Seattle. And stuff like this is what I
[37:00] mean by league format. If Barcelona played in a league
[37:03] format in Seattle, like the whole year, you could definitely
[37:06] argue they they would have won. They would listen.
[37:08] They ended up second. Like, let's say instead of
[37:09] Seattle as a knockout rounds, it was just 38 games that you play
[37:12] each other and every team plays each other.
[37:14] You could argue Barcelona would have finished first this season.
[37:17] Yeah. I could I?
[37:17] Could see? I think so.
[37:18] So this goes back to the point that the Seattle winners aren't
[37:21] always the best teams in Europe, but you could also argue PSG.
[37:25] But PSG lost five games in Seattle so far.
[37:28] So five games, yes. Three in the group stage
[37:31] arsenal. Three in the group stage.
[37:32] They lost. They lost they.
[37:34] Didn't lose to Aston Villa, did they?
[37:36] Yes, they lost the second legs. Aston Villa.
[37:37] And they lost, did they? And they lost.
[37:39] The first game, but they lost the first game.
[37:42] They lost the second, Yeah, they lost the first game to
[37:43] Liverpool. So they lost five games.
[37:46] That's why. Look, obviously I'm an entity
[37:48] still like you'll, you'll see my predictions.
[37:50] But like those five losses, Inter has yet to lose in CL.
[37:53] I know. We lost.
[37:54] We lost once to Leverkusen, but that was our only loss in the
[37:56] one nothing loss. 95th minute goal and only real entity.
[38:00] Still, and we've only and we've only this.
[38:02] I think this is confirmed, but we only literally were down in
[38:06] the whole Champions League in 1000.
[38:07] Something minutes of Champions League football.
[38:09] We were down for 16 minutes. Yeah, it shows resilience.
[38:12] So we Champions League, this team just turns on the switch.
[38:16] And you see, you see teams actually starting to use, I
[38:18] believe that's what they're thinking, starting to use Inter
[38:21] as like a blueprint for the way that they're building your team.
[38:24] Like Chabi Alonso, I think Real Madrid, I think a lot of people
[38:27] have reservations about back threes, But I mean, I see it
[38:31] with Amerem. I, I we'll get to it later
[38:34] because another loss is fucking embarrassing yeah get to that
[38:38] later see that. But but I think back threes
[38:41] tactically make by far the most sense.
[38:44] But we've been. I think we talked about this,
[38:46] yeah. You just defend in five and
[38:47] you're talking 5. Yes, like people some people are
[38:49] saying sack Amarim. I'm fine with that.
[38:52] I'm not OK with moving away from back 3.
[38:55] No, like I'm not. I'm not.
[38:56] Let me just rephrase that. I'm not OK with sacking Amaram.
[38:58] I'm, I respect your opinion, but like, I think if we just replace
[39:03] him, we're gonna replace him with a guy who plays the same
[39:05] formation or we should replace him with the guy who plays the
[39:07] same formation. Ideally, 'cause ideally you have
[39:10] like a little progress, yeah. Like, like people say, oh, you
[39:14] should allow Amaram to buy his players.
[39:16] It's not Amaram buying the players, it's the scouting
[39:18] staff. Yeah, everyone.
[39:19] So it doesn't really matter who's the manager really for.
[39:21] Assignment but I I also think like obviously you could make a
[39:23] A4 back work like look at flick. It's just a different style of
[39:26] play. You need to be continued like
[39:28] there needs to be a a blueprint of an ideology like Flick has
[39:32] his ideology sticks to it and it works.
[39:36] It did it. But.
[39:36] For me, I watched Flick and Ciel this year and I just said that's
[39:39] naive, like he's very naive. He's too stubborn.
[39:41] He was just way too stubborn. And, and listen, if you had,
[39:46] let's say a, a fully fit squad and you were that confident in
[39:49] your team, then OK, then sure. But the fact that you, your team
[39:54] is gassed at this point in time, like at that point in the game,
[39:58] it was just no game awareness of like, OK, we kind of have this
[40:02] in the bag. Let's just forget what, how we
[40:04] play for the next 2 1/2 minutes. Just hold on to the ball and
[40:09] don't don't do anything. Crazy and that's.
[40:11] And it's not a fluke as to why managers like like Sir Alex
[40:15] Ferguson or Ancelotti, like they're always very successful
[40:19] in Champions League, because they understand game state, they
[40:22] understand the mechanics of the game.
[40:24] Meanwhile, a manager like Pep Guardiola, who's had one of the
[40:27] best league teams every single year for the last 15 years, only
[40:31] has two CLS to show with it, to show for it, even though he has
[40:33] some of the best teams of all time.
[40:35] Because managers who are, oh, I stick to this, like Arteta, I
[40:38] stick to this philosophy. No matter what the game state
[40:41] is. I'll change maybe a bit, but no
[40:43] matter what, I'm going to play this way.
[40:44] Sometimes in games you need to be malleable.
[40:47] And you need to be flexible. Yeah, I do agree with that.
[40:49] But listen, I don't think Flick lost this game.
[40:51] I think even at AHO had a horrible appearance in the last
[40:55] 15 minutes. The goal was when I, when I've
[40:58] been saying that Aho, when I've been I've he's not sorry.
[41:02] This is not. Trash.
[41:03] He's just not good. Guy because when when everyone
[41:06] was saying, bro, I have top three center back in the world.
[41:10] Where Shavi was great. Quote UN quote yeah, me too.
[41:13] I could be a good center back in the back four in a Ted or dismal
[41:15] block. Don't worry bro, me too.
[41:16] I could do, but that's that's where I was.
[41:18] But anyways, he's fucking ass. OK, we and I've been saying
[41:22] this. We actually had a video back
[41:24] then where I think we asked, we asked our patrons, I think it
[41:28] was on Patreon actually, where we asked our patrons to give the
[41:30] values for the players and that Aho, you said and you said, oh,
[41:35] he's having about 60 mil. You said you gave him 60 mil.
[41:39] You know what's 60 million on the center?
[41:41] But I said 0 by the way, so I actually.
[41:43] Zero is stupidity. I look like the biggest genius
[41:45] but 60 mil Crazy crazy crazy. Some Barsa fans in that video
[41:51] were saying 100 mil too. The stocks have dropped because
[41:54] he just doesn't fit the flick system.
[41:56] He he looks not confident he's look.
[41:59] Did you see The Who was it Luis Enrique?
[42:02] What? I saw this video on Twitter that
[42:04] Luis Enrique literally was targeting at Ajo in?
[42:06] Yes, in modern football, you cannot have center backs.
[42:09] You can't pass the ball anymore. It can't.
[42:11] It can't be done. And he's mistake prone.
[42:13] The only honestly, the only like in modern football as a center,
[42:19] center back, maybe I see him a bit because when he he has five
[42:23] passing options around them at all times, There's always going
[42:25] to be someone open. Yes, you're giving him, there's
[42:28] two guys next to him at all time.
[42:30] So if he's a bit more aggressive, like you can kind
[42:32] of, you can kind of like work it out, but I don't know, I, I
[42:37] don't see him translating to modern football.
[42:39] It it was honestly on those two in late integrals to tie it and
[42:43] then win. Both were his fault because he
[42:46] let a ched be get in front of him.
[42:48] Like, that's horrendous. He let a ched be get hit, get in
[42:51] between him and the ball. Yeah, so it was unless I don't
[42:55] think many strikers even make that finish, let alone let alone
[42:59] a ched be better than. Yeah, better than let alone a
[43:02] ched be. But then that second that that
[43:05] Fratesi goal where Turam after 107 minutes or 108 minutes of
[43:10] game time, Turam is absolutely gassed and is injured.
[43:14] Yeah, ends up blowing past him on the byline, be able to get
[43:18] around, find the pastor, Tarami and then fratas he finished.
[43:21] Crazy brother that Those are two goals that could have been
[43:24] prevented with just basic defending.
[43:26] Individual mistakes. That's why I don't say this.
[43:28] This game is not Flick's fault. It just happened to go
[43:32] intersway. And then Araho blamed Hector
[43:34] Ford. At the end, yeah, well, his
[43:36] entrance wasn't that good either.
[43:37] Because he because Dumfries took him off the ball and he said he
[43:40] he wasn't paying attention as if he wasn't.
[43:42] I will never admit it, but it may have been a foul.
[43:47] Where for the Dumfries but no for me.
[43:50] I take that goal. That's not that's a good goal
[43:52] for me, but it may have been a foul.
[43:54] I don't necessarily think it was a full on foul because it it
[43:58] wasn't. There was no intent for Dumfries
[44:00] to take him out like the. Intent doesn't matter.
[44:02] He did. But.
[44:03] For a bit, OK, those are better, but.
[44:04] Who cares, bro? Inigo Martinez spat on on a
[44:06] chedbi and nothing was done. Yeah, I mean.
[44:08] There was no, I don't know at that point a game, if you call
[44:11] the foul there the Oh my God, that would have sucked.
[44:14] That would have that was called the foul.
[44:15] I would, I thought I would have thought it was soft, but at the
[44:18] end of the day enter somehow outscore the highest scoring
[44:21] team in Europe, basically Barcelona.
[44:23] Simone and Zagi 2 CL finals in three.
[44:25] Years de Mona de Piacenza. Doesn't mean anything if you
[44:27] don't win it, right? Is he from Vicenza or Piacenza?
[44:29] Piacenza. And also his brother getting
[44:32] promoted with Pisa. Yeah.
[44:33] Did they win City B or just got promoted?
[44:35] Promoted so that's Hola won city B.
[44:37] Yeah, that's true. Dominant fashion too.
[44:39] But adity is back. No, I hate it.
[44:41] Spaghetti, are you watching? And Zagi, are you watching?
[44:45] It's like the group we brought every door, Grim Reaper on every
[44:48] door. But on the other side, we had
[44:50] the very boring. Yes game.
[44:52] It was like 2 ends of the spectrum.
[44:54] We were dreading. It was only live stream bro.
[44:55] We were just happy to watch it with you guys.
[44:57] But like, man, that was a rough live stream to watch.
[45:01] But you can tell it wasn't just us, it was also the chatters
[45:03] like the the chat wasn't like no.
[45:05] One was in, it wasn't bumping so I didn't see any buzz around it.
[45:09] I didn't see any hype as much besides from Arsenal and PSG
[45:12] fans. It just didn't have the same
[45:14] level of. We were forced to watch.
[45:17] It was like we were forced. Yeah, yeah, I think, I think if
[45:20] that was the first game, it would have been OK.
[45:22] Like understandable, but to watch that after Barsa Inter and
[45:27] everyone knew it would. And what's crazy, how does
[45:30] Arceta come out after that saying like we were the better
[45:32] team? Oh, I can't believe the stuff
[45:34] that Arceta was saying was. Spewing it.
[45:36] Like that's a sackable quote, low key.
[45:38] But I I no point that I was saying at no point that I think
[45:42] Arsenal were the better team. No they definitely put up a
[45:45] fight but like bro come. On better team like yes,
[45:48] definitively. Yeah, and they don't understand.
[45:50] They don't understand simple things like game state.
[45:52] It's it like bro, PSG were up by multiple goals, there's no
[45:57] reason for them to attack. Like maybe if Hansy flicks
[46:00] managing the other side then you could argue maybe they're like
[46:03] but like don't send me XG because I watched the game.
[46:06] Yeah it's like Man United fans tried to sense XG stats after
[46:10] West Ham because we out XG them brother.
[46:12] West Ham we're up to nil. We only got .4 XG before West
[46:16] Ham we're. Up on next all.
[46:17] This, yes, like, like obviously when a team is up multiple
[46:21] goals, they're not going to go out trying to score.
[46:24] What do you think Inter did before we choke two goals again?
[46:27] Exactly. My God, it was the exact same
[46:29] blueprint. But yeah, Arsenal, listen, that
[46:32] first 1015 minutes flurry, Donna Ruma absolutely saved PSG.
[46:39] That is true on multiple occasions.
[46:41] And Arsenal looked good, They looked attacking, they looked
[46:44] like they had purpose. They went up with purpose.
[46:46] But then at a certain point, once PSG got into that game, I
[46:50] just felt like Arsenal lost that drive like that.
[46:54] They had no teeth. They started resorting to to the
[46:56] throw wins the long. Long crossing, whatever, throw
[47:00] wins like that was this type of stuff that I saw when it was
[47:02] Arsenal versus Inter earlier in the season.
[47:04] Yeah, in in Champions League and they had no other way of
[47:08] scoring, no other way of going about trying to get an
[47:11] opportunity. And unfortunately Arsenal, they
[47:15] they had to resort on a on a, on a saka kind of lucky bounce and.
[47:19] Did you try to get the? Ball an Arsenal scout in 2022 it
[47:24] was admitted that they could have signed Kavicha Kavada
[47:26] Scalia, but in chose decided to sign Martinos. 20/22 He must
[47:30] have still been at the. No, the the winger Martinos,
[47:34] exactly. You haven't even heard of him.
[47:36] You haven't even heard of him because he went, he went from
[47:38] Sao Paulo to to Arsenal and then he sucked at Arsenal, got a loan
[47:42] to Norwich, I think and did nothing at Norwich.
[47:45] Oh my God. So he's kind of gone into
[47:46] oblivion. Meanwhile, they didn't sign
[47:49] Kavicha. That is really bad, yeah.
[47:50] And and I saw the comments now that you bring up Martinos, the
[47:53] other Martinos, but the Arteta was talking about the resilience
[47:57] that art that Arsenal shows every year being in Champions
[48:00] League. And he's saying like, this is
[48:02] progress. The progress is that we're
[48:04] learning from these tough times. Just look at Marquinos over
[48:07] there at PSG, who's been at PSG for 11 years and he hasn't won
[48:11] anything in Champions League, but he's learning.
[48:14] And now he's in the Champions League finals.
[48:15] I probably twisted his words, but brother, why are you looking
[48:18] on the other side? Look at yourself.
[48:20] Marquinos was part of a team effort that honestly has been a
[48:24] top two team in the world. Arsenal has not shown to be a
[48:27] top two team in the world. Yeah, I see what you're saying.
[48:29] You know what I mean? At any point do you think?
[48:33] Yeah, I know you're thinking, but they were not never a top
[48:35] two team in the world. Liverpool were there, Barcelona
[48:37] were there. Like I don't remember.
[48:40] Because we're judging off of results.
[48:42] Well like Barcelona for me, I still look this year and I say
[48:46] Barcelona and Liverpool were the 2 best teams in the world.
[48:48] Personally, even though PSG beat Liverpool, you could throw.
[48:51] I still think Liverpool. Maybe over the course of a
[48:53] season, yes. Yes, that's my.
[48:55] Argument of the season Like for me, she had a very poor start to
[48:58] the season. Like for me, if you put enter in
[49:00] a league format, they're not as good as if in a knockout.
[49:03] Format I I think we we end up where we.
[49:05] Will manage. I think where we end up, where
[49:06] we were, we finished fourth. Yeah, they would be around
[49:10] there. I'm comfortable with that
[49:11] because the squad that's that's a squad that gets forth, yeah,
[49:16] in this monster format. But honestly, Arsenal that well,
[49:20] Arteta have has no reason to talk.
[49:22] Absolutely. That's what I'm saying, putting
[49:23] words in Luis Enrique's mouth. They said we were the better
[49:26] team. I don't know what he's talking
[49:27] about. So yeah, Arteta said.
[49:31] You see that when he started laughing.
[49:32] Yeah, it was funny 'cause the reporter, she's an Arsenal fan,
[49:35] but you could obviously tell her she's just not the biggest
[49:36] Arteto fan. He's like, they said we were the
[49:39] better side. She's like, who said that?
[49:41] He he tried to brush over the question.
[49:43] Huh. He tried to brush over the
[49:44] question. No, he was like, he kept
[49:46] speaking. He's like, and we played very
[49:47] good. And then we and then and he said
[49:50] that. Yeah.
[49:50] But who said that? The other coaches on the other
[49:53] side. The bench said that, but who on
[49:55] the bench? Not everyone, everyone,
[49:57] everyone. And they had to lose Enrique.
[49:58] No one said that. Yeah, no one said that.
[50:01] But there's no way you admit that you were the worst team.
[50:03] There's absolutely no way. Maybe.
[50:05] 'Cause you feel bad, you tell them.
[50:07] Oh, you. Did a good job.
[50:08] Deserved. Yeah, user.
[50:09] You know what? You guys also, Yeah, humble.
[50:11] But in your head you're like, they did not.
[50:13] But don't mix that up. Don't mix that up with admit
[50:15] like admittance. Yeah, that that you were the
[50:17] worst side. You know, and what I find crazy
[50:19] is that PSG like regardless of the Debelly injury, they were
[50:22] still able to to line up in a very like full strength lineup
[50:27] even without Dembele. I I'd.
[50:29] Argue Dembele is like he's a very good player but like if you
[50:32] get injured bro you still have duet Barcola.
[50:34] That's what I'm saying. Like it's more of like if Vitina
[50:36] gets injured then you might start finding a bit.
[50:38] More could be, yes, but they've been there.
[50:40] Hakimi gets issue. Injured, but to me that shows
[50:43] that PSG have built a very good team.
[50:46] And that that's a blessing that you get from winning your League
[50:49] Two months before the season ends, that does help you get a
[50:52] lot of injury management. It does help you.
[50:54] Know the load management and players get me maybe 3035
[50:56] minutes a game, 40 minutes a game and you're able to kind of
[51:00] load manage and and deal with these big, big games.
[51:03] But yeah, on PSG are a very, very scary side They're a very
[51:09] dominant side They've shown against basically every Premier
[51:12] League team, every Premier League contender in the in
[51:16] Champions League. So yeah, I don't, I don't know
[51:19] this, this match up is going to be very, very.
[51:21] There's still only one team left in Europe that's undefeated
[51:24] though, so. We'll, we'll get to that.
[51:27] Put some respect on it, but. But yeah, basically CL final
[51:30] will be interest PSG. Personally as an Interfan, I'm
[51:33] OK with this match up. I do think PSG.
[51:36] I agree as an. I think PSG lines hosted A Barsa
[51:40] like more comparable to a Barsa because they have well compared
[51:45] to an Arsenal in my opinion. Like if there's a strength.
[51:48] Yeah, in terms of like squad, squad build, squad depth, like
[51:52] because PSG have a very, very attacking and amazing front
[51:56] three just like Barcelona did. Barcelona have a very technical
[52:00] midfield just like PSG and, and Barcelona's defense obviously is
[52:06] not like their strong suit. And I think PSG, that's not
[52:09] their strong suit as well. So you're saying you would have
[52:11] preferred an Arsenal in terms of beating them as an interfund?
[52:17] I did say that I would prefer Arsenal because we did beat them
[52:20] but like we also sat back and played with our B team so I
[52:23] don't know. I feel like we could have beaten
[52:24] Arsenal too. I think you're in a very good
[52:26] position now against PSG. Yeah.
[52:28] But now, anyways, we'll talk about the league stuff.
[52:30] But yeah, where those two teams are in 2 completely different
[52:34] league situations, Inter is in a completely different league
[52:37] situation than PSG. So a lot can, a lot can change
[52:42] and a lot can happen. So it it just depends on what
[52:45] happens between now and May 30. You see the league aren't team
[52:47] of the season. It was basically all.
[52:49] PhD that that's. Farmers checkin, checkin
[52:51] Chevalier, Yeah. Checkin just made.
[52:53] A link to Man United, by the way.
[52:54] But enjoy that apparently he's. Actually very good.
[52:57] Even Paula, I have, I remember Paula specifically said he's
[53:00] very good. So if he joins Manchester
[53:01] United, clip, clip. Yeah, that's clipped right
[53:06] there. But yeah, I don't know.
[53:08] That league needs to. That league needs to figure it.
[53:09] Out and then Arsenal after this game with PSG, goes and plays
[53:13] Liverpool in the Premier League. They tie 22.
[53:16] Was actually a good game. Yeah, it was.
[53:17] It's not bad. I think Arsenal showed some some
[53:20] good. Some good stuff, but at the end
[53:23] of the day it was a game that really had no no stakes, no
[53:25] stake. Maybe more for Arsenal, but.
[53:27] Trent got booed. OK, now I wanted to speak about
[53:30] this because Liverpool fans embarrassing themselves once
[53:32] again. How do you Boo Trent Alexander
[53:36] Arnold after he's all he's done for your club?
[53:38] It's very I, I do find it somewhat selfish by by Liverpool
[53:43] fans because you are basically expecting a player to stay with
[53:47] you for his whole career, you know, without giving him less
[53:50] than necessarily the the leeway to look for a better
[53:53] opportunity. Not saying Liverpool's not a
[53:54] good opportunity, but brother when Real Madrid come calling it
[53:58] If if Real Madrid came calling to any Inter player, I'd say
[54:01] brother. And bro, I feel like he fits
[54:03] shabby Alonzo like a glove to like imagine how he used
[54:06] Grimaldo he's gonna use. My Lord Trent, but no defensive
[54:08] responsibilities. How about can be scary Harry
[54:12] sites for La Liga? However, I do see why they're
[54:15] booing him. Like, I don't know the I don't
[54:18] know the details behind his contract situations, why he
[54:22] didn't stay at Liverpool. But listen, Liverpool are
[54:26] holding themselves up as why would you go to Real Madrid?
[54:29] We're just as good. Like, you know what I mean?
[54:31] Like, yes, they they have that. They're trying to give him that
[54:34] aura. Like why are you going to Real
[54:36] Madrid? We're competing for champions
[54:38] against or just won the Prem. Like it or not, if you're trying
[54:41] to be in these all time conversations, go through
[54:44] players that played for Liverpool And who's in an all
[54:46] time conversation? No one.
[54:48] But that I think, I think this Liverpool, well, Salah, Louis
[54:52] Van Dyke. Those those players like the the
[54:56] thing about Van Dyke is if he played at Real Madrid, he would
[54:59] easily be in those Sergio Ramos conversations.
[55:01] But I feel like if in 20 years time we go Virgin, Van Dyke was
[55:04] as good as Sergio Ramos. The kid who just saw Sergio
[55:08] Ramos CV and he just sees his appearances for Real Madrid and
[55:12] stuff are going to say bro. Van Dyke wasn't even close to
[55:14] Sergio Ramos bro. He's on podium bound.
[55:17] It's already, it's already out there.
[55:18] That's bro we get, we compare sometimes Van Dyke to Sergio
[55:21] Ramos, we get flamed by. By the Ramos, we don't get
[55:23] flamed. Yes, we do.
[55:25] I I think it's putting him above Sergio Ramos that gets you
[55:28] flame. But to say like, listen, they've
[55:30] both, they've both had very insane peaks and they're
[55:32] definitely both in the top five center backs ever.
[55:35] Situation. But in 20 years time, kids only
[55:38] are going to look at their Wikipedia page.
[55:39] What does their Wikipedia page say?
[55:41] The Van Dyke has a good CV. Champions of Ramos though, of
[55:44] course. World Cup 2.
[55:46] Year, but on ability, we know on ability.
[55:48] He's on the same. That that I'd argue Van Dyke is.
[55:52] I would rather Van Dyke's prototype as a center back, but
[55:55] they're both you're you're talking about fine margins here.
[55:58] But yeah, people will remember Sergio Ramos a greater all time
[56:03] than a Van Dyke. You could even argue potentially
[56:07] some people will even think, and I don't agree with this.
[56:09] I don't think so at any play from Manchester United.
[56:11] But some people may even look at Veran CV and say he was better
[56:13] than Van Dyke. That's that's rough.
[56:15] That that's. Veran has a World Cup.
[56:17] He has multiple CLS but. That's TV talk like that's that
[56:21] I I agree that's the that those are the arguments you're going
[56:23] to have to face. But as peep as a group of guys
[56:27] that I've seen Veron play throughout his Real Madrid
[56:29] career, throughout his Manchester United career, you
[56:32] you really can't sit down and try to convince me that he's
[56:36] better than a Van Dyke, Yeah. Yeah, I know.
[56:38] I'm really like, at one point he was one of the best in the
[56:41] world. That's not a debate, but Van
[56:42] Dyke has been doing it for way too long.
[56:44] So you're saying, you're saying these players need to leave
[56:47] Liverpool or their boyhood clubs to go to Real Madrid?
[56:50] Liverpool in the grand scheme of the sport.
[56:53] Don't say 'cause they're a big club.
[56:55] Are OK, Liverpool's a big club. They're not.
[56:58] They're not Barcelona. They're not Real Madrid.
[57:00] They're on in terms of like echelon.
[57:04] I mean, they're not Man United. They're not, yeah, but they're
[57:07] not. They're not. 6 Champions League
[57:09] or 7. Like you could win as many
[57:11] Champions League as possible I'm sure if you go through top five
[57:14] debates of all time. Like Gerrard if he played for
[57:17] fucking Real Madrid he would be a little bit higher.
[57:25] Facts bro. Couldn't I Could.
[57:26] That's very hypothetical. It's not hypothetical.
[57:29] Bro look how people talk about Salah.
[57:31] Salah is. If you go in like.
[57:34] One of the Premier League. I agree, but he should be like
[57:37] if I said Salah is better than Gareth Bale, the fucking crazy
[57:41] it's but he's obviously better. Like he's obviously better but
[57:47] you say it's fucking crazy because Gary Bale bro Salah.
[57:51] I love Gareth Bale, one of my favorite all time players.
[57:54] He's obviously better than Gareth Bale, but you will never
[57:57] get that always obviously better than Gareth Bale.
[58:00] Is Robin better than Gareth Bale?
[58:03] I don't know. But you see, Salah's way better
[58:05] than Robin. Robin was a mercenary.
[58:08] Yes Robin was a monster bro but Salah is an all time tier but he
[58:13] doesn't get that respect because he will because he didn't play
[58:15] for Barcelona, Real Madrid. I'd argue Manchester United.
[58:19] If you are that good at Manchester United and you do win
[58:22] trophies at Manchester United, you will be put in that tier.
[58:24] I do think Liverpool, a Liverpool Champions League and
[58:26] two Premier Leagues with Liverpool like I do, it means.
[58:29] Something, but it doesn't put you in that.
[58:31] I think it puts you in that tier like because what I'll say, what
[58:34] I agree with you is that yes, a bail going to Real Madrid, like
[58:37] move the streets. Yes, like he they, they took
[58:40] over lifestyle, they took over the culture brother.
[58:43] I remember kids getting haircuts specifically.
[58:46] Because I was Gareth, I got Gareth Bale haircut.
[58:48] Because because that was because of the influence.
[58:51] But if you're looking just at player ability, I do think
[58:56] Salah, he's in that conversation with Bale.
[59:00] Yeah, I mean. But says over a head, over
[59:03] heels, over Bale is is kind. Of I think it's not even close
[59:06] personally. That's kind of crazy, but Gareth
[59:08] Bale played in those fucking CS finals every year and he scored
[59:12] so like it. Adds to it, of course.
[59:14] Of course, but but as it should. But bro Sala, Sala has an
[59:19] argument and if you don't count Messi, Sala has an argument for
[59:21] being the best right winger of all time.
[59:23] He does you. Need to think about it.
[59:26] But people don't say it because bro played for Liverpool.
[59:30] I don't think it's because of that, yeah.
[59:32] If he did what he did at Liverpool, at Car Copy Paste,
[59:36] did what he did at Liverpool, at Real Madrid, that what I said is
[59:39] not even crazy. You're talking about stats like
[59:40] what he's talking. About stats, trove, everything.
[59:43] Like if you just copy pasted his Liverpool career in a white Real
[59:47] Madrid jersey or a Barcelona jersey or a Bayern Munich jersey
[59:50] even, I'll say we're having much different conversations, much
[59:54] different. I don't know.
[59:56] But then Trent going to Real Madrid for free is a little bit
[59:59] different, I would say. No, I don't think I really
[1:00:02] personally, I don't think it's a bad transfer for like if I was a
[1:00:06] Liverpool fan, I I wouldn't be as like distraught or this
[1:00:10] upset. But yes, Trent in his position
[1:00:13] is fantastic. But brother, it's it's.
[1:00:16] It's a right back. It's it's a right back.
[1:00:17] Trent on ability and once again this keeps going but this is how
[1:00:21] good these Liverpool players are and they don't get this respect.
[1:00:24] Trent on ability in my lifetime now I didn't get to watch like
[1:00:28] Kafu and shit like that so I won't speak on that in my
[1:00:31] lifetime. He's the best write back I've
[1:00:33] watched in my life. For me, he's better than Danny,
[1:00:36] Elvis. Me personally, me personally,
[1:00:40] that's what I'm saying I. Find to be the best you need to
[1:00:42] be complete and Trent. No, Danny Allen was not
[1:00:46] complete. Because he was more on the
[1:00:48] defensive side. No, he was more on the offensive
[1:00:50] side. Maybe at Barcelona, Juventus
[1:00:52] making seal finals with Juventus.
[1:00:53] But I mean, you're playing with Messi, it's a lot easier, like
[1:00:57] the the sport's a lot easier when you're playing with Lionel.
[1:00:59] Messi yeah, but I mean, Trent's playing with Sala too, so.
[1:01:04] Yeah, but Sala's not Messi. But you want to put them in
[1:01:07] those all time. Tiers, yes, but once again,
[1:01:09] messy Messy's in his different tier.
[1:01:11] I said if you're not counting messy as a right?
[1:01:13] Winger, yes, I I get it, but it's still S There's really no
[1:01:16] other right winger in the world. There's there's never been a
[1:01:20] better crosser or passer of the ball at right back position than
[1:01:23] Trent Alexander. OK, that's a different argument.
[1:01:25] Yeah, because you said best full back.
[1:01:27] Yes, Now best full back you, you also have to defend.
[1:01:30] And we all know Trent is obviously better at attacking
[1:01:32] than defending. We'll see the staggering world
[1:01:36] class level of Trent Alexander Arnold next season.
[1:01:39] Without you will see it without defending.
[1:01:41] It will be fucking frightening how good he is.
[1:01:44] But as a player, on an individual level, you have to
[1:01:45] make that jump. You have to make that yes,
[1:01:47] because I would not respect. You until you he's accomplished
[1:01:50] all he has to do a little but. That's what I'm saying.
[1:01:52] It's not like he missed out because they didn't want to
[1:01:54] Champions League or Prem with him.
[1:01:55] Brother. 2 primes and the Champions League is more than a
[1:01:57] many more. Than Gerard did.
[1:01:59] More than any other Premier League legend, I'm sorry so.
[1:02:03] Yeah, he's the best Prem right back of all time guaranteed and
[1:02:06] I already. Personally, I think Liverpool.
[1:02:08] He's Baron Walker. Walker has a lot of a lot of
[1:02:11] trophies in his cabinet. Bro.
[1:02:15] Care, bro. Like once again, you're speaking
[1:02:17] about CV. You're literally doing the exact
[1:02:19] argument I'm talking about. The Superman was Van Dyke.
[1:02:22] Comparison Walker back in the day was amazing.
[1:02:24] Yeah, sure. Very.
[1:02:25] No, No way. Sure way there was a going
[1:02:27] again. Walker is way better than Kyle
[1:02:30] as a passer. Compare Kyle Walker to like
[1:02:32] Kavajal and shit. Very good players, very good
[1:02:35] players and very good teams. But Trent Alexander Arnold is a
[1:02:37] pillar of a team. She's who you build a team
[1:02:40] around. Maybe that's Liverpool's fault
[1:02:42] for not resigning him at the end of the day.
[1:02:44] Well, no, they resign. He wanted to go a couple of
[1:02:46] years back. He said I'll give you 2 more
[1:02:48] years and then I'll go for for free I think if you don't want
[1:02:50] to sell me. And I think that's okay.
[1:02:52] I don't think it was justified for a little defense to.
[1:02:54] Move a little change of scene and.
[1:02:55] They started chanting Steven Gerrard.
[1:02:57] Gerrard cuz he stayed obviously his whole career despite having
[1:03:01] like chances to leave so. But a bit of a just ended off
[1:03:05] like at least if you stay at Liverpool, you you will win
[1:03:07] trophies, you know what I mean? You will win.
[1:03:09] If that's guaranteed, but yeah. I think Liverpool has that
[1:03:12] stature of winning trophies. I but I'd argue Real Madrid have
[1:03:15] a bigger stature of winning trophies bro.
[1:03:18] Something trophy list. Like, bro, next year, next year,
[1:03:20] they're not going trophy list. They're walking out of there
[1:03:22] with something. Yeah, you think Fiorentino Perez
[1:03:24] is allowing that happen? Look, they just, we'll talk
[1:03:27] about it. They checked, they got Alonzo.
[1:03:29] We'll. Talk about it.
[1:03:30] But yeah, obviously in the Prem there was a bit more drama.
[1:03:33] Yeah, because Nottingham Forests owner the A Greek Dawn decided
[1:03:38] to come on the pitch and RIP Nuno Spirito Santo after a draw
[1:03:42] versus Lester. Me and firms were actually
[1:03:44] arguing. We actually think it's a good
[1:03:46] thing. Yeah, like obviously it's not a
[1:03:48] good thing that ran into a bitch and ripped the manager.
[1:03:50] In front of cameras as well, yes.
[1:03:51] But you want that type of owner Retro club.
[1:03:55] You want him to be involved? Yes, Look, look at the why you
[1:03:58] you would disagreement. I completely this brother look
[1:04:01] at Florentino Perez, He's involved with the team, but.
[1:04:03] Does he go on? But does he go on the pitch and
[1:04:06] and publicly? RIP Angela.
[1:04:07] OK. The way he did it, the way he
[1:04:09] did it was not good in front of the cameras on the field.
[1:04:12] But what what I'm talking about is the passion that he's shown
[1:04:15] that he he's involved with the team.
[1:04:17] He didn't agree. Apparently it was this.
[1:04:19] Some staffing it was. A it was a medical staff
[1:04:21] decision that that cuz Awwani played when he got injured, but
[1:04:26] he wasn't supposed to play like so it's a whole medical staff
[1:04:29] mismanagement. But it's more goes back to the
[1:04:32] idea that bro, two years ago when they got promoted, he wrote
[1:04:35] a letter to the fans saying like, we're not just going to
[1:04:37] get promoted and go down. We're going to make Europe.
[1:04:39] We're going to actually vie for these like big, big
[1:04:42] accomplishments. And now he's delivering on it
[1:04:44] like and. He's been very spent a lot and.
[1:04:47] That's good. That's but that's I agree that's
[1:04:49] the type of manager you want. But after owner, owner.
[1:04:52] Sorry, but after a match versus Leicester draw 11, yes.
[1:04:56] Where the first time they qualify for Europe in 40 years
[1:04:59] or 30 years. Yes, and to to go publicly and
[1:05:02] and RIP the manager for something like that, that could
[1:05:05] have happened behind closed doors.
[1:05:07] That could have been a discussion with the medical
[1:05:09] staff altogether. I'm sorry, I, I don't think the,
[1:05:13] I don't think that was proper. It's such a small thing that's
[1:05:17] blown out of proportion just because it was done.
[1:05:19] You're just like, bro, when we when, when we work behind the
[1:05:24] scenes, sometimes when you're trying to achieve something like
[1:05:28] great or do something big, stuff gets feisty.
[1:05:31] Yeah, of course. And I, I, I think that's, that
[1:05:35] shows ambition, yes, but but passion, yes, to a certain
[1:05:39] extent. But he needs to go into that.
[1:05:41] Like I'm sure he's praising his players too.
[1:05:43] I don't know the full story of it, but I just think that act
[1:05:46] was not necessarily. Like the Glazers, I'm sure Man
[1:05:49] United, the Glazers, they haven't been in the locker room
[1:05:52] in fucking you. Know how it looks 20?
[1:05:53] Years bro they're just worried about what dividend comes in at
[1:05:55] the end of the month. They don't care about like all
[1:05:58] this shit which is not good. I think it's better to have this
[1:06:02] type of owner than the owner who doesn't care.
[1:06:04] I agree. And that's like Steven, like
[1:06:08] your old owner, Stephen Jang, which even though financially
[1:06:11] may have been a mess. Oh.
[1:06:11] I loved him. He set the foundations for the
[1:06:14] club right now from where you guys were before.
[1:06:17] That guy was celebrating all the trophies.
[1:06:19] He was there with the team, he was friends with the players.
[1:06:21] Got him live with the players, yeah.
[1:06:23] Exactly like that's I, I, I appreciated him there.
[1:06:26] So yeah, you want a, you want a owner that's hands on, You want
[1:06:29] an owner that, but you don't want him to be overbearing to
[1:06:32] make decisions for people that he has put in place to make
[1:06:36] what? Happens when you get a A of
[1:06:38] Florentino Perez or. Because he's, he's proven, he's
[1:06:42] proven to win. Champions.
[1:06:43] But how? How are you?
[1:06:44] How has he proven but. Exactly.
[1:06:45] At one point he was. Not proven, been there, done
[1:06:47] that. At one point, Florentino Perez
[1:06:49] was just a Marinakis, basically. Like he he just getting
[1:06:53] involved. Not well, not necessarily.
[1:06:54] He was. It's such a thought.
[1:06:56] It's like he, he was just the president, but he's in.
[1:06:59] He was elected as president. Yeah.
[1:07:02] Right. This is an owner we're talking
[1:07:03] about. There's an owner that's coming
[1:07:05] in and basically saying that I know better than you.
[1:07:09] I I would have known to not play that player over the advice of a
[1:07:13] medical staff. Nothing.
[1:07:15] The medical staff was right, but you, There's a difference
[1:07:19] between passion and overbearing. That's what I would say.
[1:07:21] I. Don't know.
[1:07:22] What do you think of Radcliffe as a as an owner?
[1:07:26] Is he involved? Yeah, he's involved.
[1:07:28] He's involved. I like it personally.
[1:07:30] Like like I don't see this, this 17th look, has it been perfectly
[1:07:35] managed since he's come in? No, but there's ambition being
[1:07:39] shown. We're going after the top level
[1:07:41] talents. We're going after like we're not
[1:07:43] we're not buying players like signing Matthias Cunha and like
[1:07:47] Liam the lap. Those are players that proven
[1:07:50] they deserve a transfer. We're not signing Hoylands,
[1:07:54] we're not signing Anthony's. We're not signing like players
[1:07:58] who are all potential and you're just banking on potential.
[1:08:01] Like now we're actually showing that whatever we can get into
[1:08:04] Man United after, but like, well.
[1:08:06] We'll get it into it right now that's I'm laying it up for you
[1:08:09] my brother, because you're currently sitting 17th no 16th
[1:08:14] because versus 17th, which is great let.
[1:08:16] That be known. Which is absolutely ridiculous,
[1:08:19] but you're in a Europa League final, so if you do win that,
[1:08:22] you go to Champions League. But Amarim, there's a lot of
[1:08:26] questions. I saw a lot of Manchester United
[1:08:27] fans saying should go, do we suck Amarim right now?
[1:08:32] Now, if I told you we can rewind back to when we appointed
[1:08:36] Amarim, I said we could make top 4.
[1:08:39] Now looking back, do I think yes, we're in 16th place?
[1:08:44] Has the season been a major failure?
[1:08:46] Yes. Is this the worst season for a
[1:08:48] big team ever? Yes, Probably yes.
[1:08:52] Cuz we don't. Tottenham's not a big club,
[1:08:53] right? Yes, obviously, but.
[1:08:55] They're the same. There's the same situation we
[1:08:58] have. Literally the same season 1.
[1:09:00] Point big guys. You guys are joint worst seasons
[1:09:03] by big clubs. Yeah, but Tottenham's not a big
[1:09:05] club like Tottenham, bro. They don't have a prim Like you
[1:09:08] can't you, you can't argue that they're a big club and you don't
[1:09:11] have a league title. So like.
[1:09:12] Then do you lift that you had the worst season cuz you are a
[1:09:15] bigger club? We have the worst season of like
[1:09:19] mega club ever. Lift up.
[1:09:22] It is the worst. Yeah, it's fine.
[1:09:25] Look. Is it all?
[1:09:28] The issue I'm thinking is that if no, it's not Al Amarin's
[1:09:34] fault, but at a big club you can't let shit like this slide
[1:09:40] even though he doesn't deserve all the blame like at clubs like
[1:09:44] Real Madrid. So the manager dropped this.
[1:09:46] He would have been sacked five times already this season.
[1:09:49] Agreed. Like you wouldn't have made it
[1:09:51] to the Europa League, but. Then what do you do?
[1:09:53] Do you play manager roulette like, oh, this is this is going
[1:09:55] to be it. You sack this guy you hired like
[1:09:57] the counter. The counterpoint.
[1:09:59] The counterpoint is who do you even go get if you sack him?
[1:10:04] Because like I I think we should play 3 back.
[1:10:07] So let's say let's say we go and get another three back manager.
[1:10:10] The only better ones you could argue are like Inzaghi.
[1:10:16] I don't even know who's about like Travia Alonzo.
[1:10:18] Alonzo going to Real Madrid though.
[1:10:20] And Conte. Yes, and none of those would
[1:10:23] join right now, so yeah. Like Okie Conte I think.
[1:10:26] No. And he also, he would like,
[1:10:30] there's we have sporting structure now that he wouldn't
[1:10:33] fit in but like. It's not believe though, like a
[1:10:36] glove. Yes, because all you have to
[1:10:37] worry about is fucking the owner.
[1:10:39] But I think, I think me personally, I wouldn't sack him
[1:10:44] and I think that the signings this summer shouldn't be based
[1:10:46] on the manager. I think it's very different
[1:10:48] situation to for me. Even if he win, if he loses
[1:10:52] Europa League, I still wouldn't sack him personally.
[1:10:54] Really. Yeah, I'm saying this right now,
[1:10:56] before the Europa League. Really.
[1:10:58] I would not sack him. I I think our performances have
[1:11:01] been better than under time. Results been worse, but our
[1:11:04] performances got better. Somebody needs to be blamed
[1:11:06] though, and you know, you know, upper management is not getting
[1:11:09] the blame, so somebody will be a scapegoat.
[1:11:12] The players are fucking horrible, so there's the
[1:11:14] scapegoats, but we don't have the 16th best squad in the
[1:11:16] league. We don't like you don't.
[1:11:18] The quality is no, but they are fucking bad and we we unexpected
[1:11:23] points were 12. So like I think that's more
[1:11:26] where we range, but we are fucking horrible.
[1:11:31] Like we are so bad and we have actually, I was telling us the
[1:11:34] million firms before we start recording.
[1:11:36] I think Hoyland's actually the worst player I've ever watched
[1:11:38] put on a Manchester United. Kid, we were trying to think of
[1:11:39] worst signings I've mentioned. Forget signings, player.
[1:11:43] I know. But youth players, I'd rather
[1:11:44] all the youth players we gave debuts to.
[1:11:46] But but I'd. Rather Tyler Blackett than than
[1:11:49] fucking Hoyland, but. That, but that's what I was
[1:11:51] thinking too. It's like, OK, you lost 2
[1:11:53] nothing versus West Ham. That in itself is is terrible.
[1:11:58] But if you lost 2 nothing to West Ham but you had half your
[1:12:01] squad or more than half your squad as as Academy players
[1:12:05] giving them the minutes, well. No, we have very young players
[1:12:08] on our. Team I I understand, but even
[1:12:09] just giving the Academy players, I know you have a young squad
[1:12:12] but you you do have a Europa League final.
[1:12:14] Coming back was a 718 year old. Play more player, play more,
[1:12:18] your Subs play more. Every Prem game number really.
[1:12:20] Play more, play more, play more because now like.
[1:12:23] Lenny Yarrow. Amaram.
[1:12:24] Amaram needs to show more Like personally, if I was, if I was
[1:12:29] the manager, I would. There's a reason why I'm not the
[1:12:31] manager. But like more of a distinction
[1:12:34] at this point in this, in this point of the season, a
[1:12:36] distinction between Europa League and the Premier League,
[1:12:39] you make it completely known to everyone that the Premier League
[1:12:43] is not, is not something you're you're paying attention to right
[1:12:47] now. So.
[1:12:48] But he explained, he explained why he thinks that.
[1:12:51] But he he said this in the press conference.
[1:12:54] He doesn't want the players to think like that like he does.
[1:12:56] He does. He does show it through our our
[1:12:58] team selection, like our starters play Europa League and
[1:13:00] our backups play Premier League games.
[1:13:02] But he also explained that it's it's embarrassing that there's
[1:13:07] no sense of urgency at the club like for Europa League.
[1:13:11] And this is a bit from 10 hog where he he explained all this
[1:13:15] game is like a final, like we need to die in these games.
[1:13:18] But meanwhile, like if let's say it was a 12th place game, he
[1:13:21] said all we're going to play all the backups.
[1:13:22] Like with the the game doesn't really matter.
[1:13:24] Like Amrim argues against your point by saying like there's no
[1:13:27] urgency, bro. We're the fucking worst
[1:13:29] Manchester United team of all time, potentially.
[1:13:31] But but that could also be. Addressed every game, you should
[1:13:34] go win, like we need to win today.
[1:13:37] But he doesn't feel that urgency from the players because he
[1:13:41] doesn't know why, but he needs to instill, he said.
[1:13:43] I need to instill that in the players next season because it's
[1:13:46] unacceptable for Manchester United to lose a game.
[1:13:48] Yeah, and I I like that mentality.
[1:13:50] I I agree that's that's something Amrim like that's it's
[1:13:53] right of him to criticize that of the of the players.
[1:13:56] But on that mentality side, the players need to understand that
[1:14:00] OK, whatever we're doing now is building towards a season like
[1:14:03] next season and not just completely like saying all of
[1:14:06] this, this. Season means.
[1:14:07] Nothing yes, as fans, but you could you could get that idea
[1:14:12] that every game you have to play like you have to play 100% until
[1:14:15] like a player like Amat Diallo before Europa League final ends
[1:14:18] up getting hurt because Amarim decided to keep that intensity
[1:14:22] up because. Amat Diallo just came back from
[1:14:25] injury. That's how he started.
[1:14:27] I get it, but it's still a risk. There's always.
[1:14:30] Risk, you're gonna not play him until the final and he hasn't
[1:14:32] played minutes like yeah. You give him minutes, but I'm
[1:14:35] not saying give him like like 60-70 minutes.
[1:14:39] I'm saying give him maybe 25 or 30 minutes just to keep the
[1:14:43] legs. Warm I don't know, I disagree
[1:14:44] with that take. But Bruno, Bruno didn't play
[1:14:47] against West Ham or he played like he he I don't even know if
[1:14:49] he got something. I stopped watching after two nil
[1:14:51] so that's crazy. But at least what I like about
[1:14:53] Amrim is that he's been, he's been pretty realistic with
[1:14:58] expectations, with what he demands, he said in that same
[1:15:01] interview, Barbara, he said we cannot allow Man United
[1:15:04] standards to drop. I don't know if he played
[1:15:06] started. Yeah, that's how bad that
[1:15:09] performance was. What, They didn't even know
[1:15:10] Fernandez. Yeah.
[1:15:12] But go. Sorry.
[1:15:13] Like in that same interview, he mentioned we cannot allow
[1:15:16] Manchester United to the standards of Manchester United
[1:15:18] to drop. Yeah, he said.
[1:15:19] We're losing the feeling of being a big.
[1:15:21] Club, which is fucking facts if you think.
[1:15:23] About it I agree so like but I I honestly think that he's always
[1:15:29] said the right thing yes and I feel like he he does have a
[1:15:33] touch on the job at hand and it's going to be a big job, but
[1:15:38] I think look signings like the lap he's one of the.
[1:15:41] I'm sorry, I really don't see the lap.
[1:15:44] Moving wise fits perfectly Ameren.
[1:15:47] What Premier League player? He's top dribbler for strikers
[1:15:51] in the Premier League. Like not volume in terms of
[1:15:53] success rate, you need to go exactly what we need.
[1:15:55] You go, you need to go with experience now.
[1:15:57] I think your team is so inexperienced.
[1:15:59] Yes, Premier League player, but the lap is a is a player that to
[1:16:03] me doesn't raise the ceiling. In my opinion, he raises the
[1:16:06] floor, which is what we need because the floor right now is
[1:16:08] fucking. Relegation, yeah, but it's like
[1:16:09] Hoyland is the basement and the lap brings you back to the
[1:16:11] floor. Why not go for like a little bit
[1:16:13] higher? But let's say next year, OK, so
[1:16:17] Hoyland relegation fodder, OK, yes, the lap may be a top six
[1:16:21] striker. That's a big fucking upgrade for
[1:16:24] 30 million that by the way, he's 30 million English.
[1:16:27] So like if we get the top six, if profile wise definitely makes
[1:16:33] sense, if we get the top six, if we get a top six level striker
[1:16:36] that can grow with us as we're getting better, then that makes
[1:16:40] a lot more sense than trying to go for an Aussie man who right
[1:16:43] now doesn't fit the timeline of our team.
[1:16:44] But. Forget Aussie man, there's
[1:16:46] there's I don't know which other strikers, but there are other
[1:16:49] strikers that. I'd rather sign the lap than Gil
[1:16:50] Koresh really, personally. I find that stupidity.
[1:16:53] That it's double it's that's the clip we're going to be.
[1:16:56] It's over. It's over double the price.
[1:16:59] He he's proven it's a world championship, but he's not
[1:17:02] proven himself in the Prem. Like for me personally, from
[1:17:06] where I'm at right now, 16th place, I can't afford to whiff
[1:17:10] on another striker. I can't afford that.
[1:17:12] That's not an that's not an option in my books.
[1:17:14] We just spent 80 million on some fucking dog shit player that I
[1:17:17] would honestly sell for. I would give him away for free.
[1:17:20] So. But you see, Hoyland was never
[1:17:22] proven. Hoyland doesn't fit the mold.
[1:17:24] I. Agree, never had the stats, it
[1:17:27] was never worth 80 mil you know what I mean?
[1:17:28] So that's just a whiff. OK, but no.
[1:17:30] Player like Anthony. Who obviously is a good player,
[1:17:33] yeah, but just be he can't play in the Prem.
[1:17:35] He's just not a Prem player. The game's too fast and the
[1:17:37] players too physical for him. I'd argue it was just a matter
[1:17:40] of fitting in with the team. Not like that's stupid why he
[1:17:44] the game was too fast. He can't beat a man one-on-one
[1:17:47] in the Premier League. You go to La Liga, he's fucking
[1:17:49] Ronaldinho, second coming of Jesus Christ and in the Prem,
[1:17:53] but he's. Given the the.
[1:17:54] He played full back, he had the fullbacks one-on-one, he
[1:17:58] couldn't get anywhere near past them.
[1:18:00] That's just basic facts. The game is more physical,
[1:18:03] players are faster and La Liga he doesn't have that issue to
[1:18:05] worry about. He can get by his fullback
[1:18:07] easily which it opens the game a lot more for him.
[1:18:10] That's what I'm scared about with muhfuckas like yo Kadesh,
[1:18:12] they're coming from such fucking bad leagues compared to the
[1:18:17] Premier League that I cannot trust players like that.
[1:18:20] I need get me Liam the lap. I'll worry about taking my team
[1:18:25] from let's say 4th place to 1st place after I get out.
[1:18:28] Like that's an issue we'll worry about down the line.
[1:18:30] You're trying to get me to 4th place first.
[1:18:33] I'm not going to worry about winning the Prem before I even
[1:18:35] fucking. I'm in 16th right now.
[1:18:37] All I'm beggars can't be true the.
[1:18:38] Lap is not the person to bring you to 4th place.
[1:18:41] That's what I'm. Saying I disagree with that, I
[1:18:43] think you can definitely bring you to 4th place.
[1:18:45] It's more like, bro, you're telling me Nicole Jackson's
[1:18:48] better in the lap? Yes.
[1:18:51] No, I disagree with you. I mean, Nicole Jackson hasn't
[1:18:54] scored since February. I think he has one goal, maybe
[1:18:56] since February. But Nicole Jackson, how old is
[1:18:58] the lap 23? 23 OK.
[1:19:02] Yeah, he's younger. You're going to ask me any
[1:19:04] younger Nicole Jackson? Well, no, he's.
[1:19:05] I know where he's doing. Nico Jackson is our age.
[1:19:07] No. Yeah.
[1:19:08] Yeah. OK, funk status, by the way.
[1:19:11] Yeah. According to some.
[1:19:12] But and and like Cunya and for me I you need to sign as a
[1:19:17] ceiling razor for me next year front 3 needs to be and Ahmad
[1:19:20] can obviously play in that front three or I wing back Cunya and
[1:19:25] Buemo the lap. Figured out and buemo Cunya.
[1:19:28] Now you're talking about ceiling razors.
[1:19:29] The lap is not a ceiling razor. He's he's just 'cause you're
[1:19:33] looking at what you have and you're saying, yes, it's better
[1:19:36] than that, but it it doesn't mean that you're in competition
[1:19:39] with the. Top 4A bet right now.
[1:19:41] I don't want to bet with you with these things.
[1:19:43] What do you want to bet? About the Lap will score over
[1:19:46] 1512 goals in the Prem next 12. He did it right now with
[1:19:51] Ipswich. So so.
[1:19:54] But does that mean? Well, how many goals do you
[1:19:55] think Dylan the Lap scores in the Prem next year?
[1:19:58] With what team mentioned. I'll go 15 maybe.
[1:20:03] That's a fucking good player. Row 15 league goals as your main
[1:20:08] goal leader. Main striker.
[1:20:10] Bro Torag doesn't even have 15 fucking goals.
[1:20:12] I. Got 2, he's got 2.
[1:20:15] So now let's go. I'll tell you the players this
[1:20:17] season that have 15 Premier League goals.
[1:20:19] However, as a main striker, you're talking about if your
[1:20:21] striker cannot score more than 15 goals in a slop.
[1:20:24] OK, I'll tell you all the players with 15 goals in the
[1:20:26] Premier League this season. Cole you would, he would be top
[1:20:29] 10 by the way, in goals in the Prem.
[1:20:31] Cole Palmer, Matteos, Cunha, Ollie Watkins and Bueno Wesa,
[1:20:34] Chris Wood, Holland, Isaac Sala. That's fucking good if you get
[1:20:38] 15. I would be fucking so happy if
[1:20:43] he got 15. Considering what you have now,
[1:20:45] yeah. Bro even 10 is good. 1010 goals
[1:20:50] is good output bro. You know the the interview I was
[1:20:53] talking about of Amrim the standards. 10 goals for a
[1:20:56] striker is not good bro. Main striker needs to score at.
[1:20:59] Least 2020 and goal at the Prem. Bro, you had Ebra, you had
[1:21:03] Rooney, you had, you had. Bro Ebra didn't even score
[1:21:05] fucking 15. Man United has had very good
[1:21:09] strikers in the past if you think about it, The profiles,
[1:21:11] the players, the the stature. They didn't even come to Kavani
[1:21:14] was good. Like Kavani was a good player to
[1:21:17] buy. Unfortunately, he.
[1:21:18] Was scored 17 in the year where he was fucking but that's all
[1:21:22] pug pug attacks by the way, but that's a better.
[1:21:26] Player than the. Lap yeah, Bruno Fernandez.
[1:21:29] Better player than the lap. Exactly like that's what I'm
[1:21:32] saying. The stature of the players has
[1:21:33] dropped. The lap is not that guy to to
[1:21:35] bring you back to a top four race, 20.
[1:21:37] He's he's 21. How old is Liam?
[1:21:41] The Lap. The lap is 21.
[1:21:44] The lap city. Academy, by the way. 22 but even
[1:21:48] more to my point, he's a young striker that needs time to
[1:21:51] develop. He just scored 12 in the Prem
[1:21:54] for me. Next season, if he's coming to
[1:21:56] Mattress United, I'm expecting at least 12.
[1:21:59] But stop relying on these young strikers to to bring you back.
[1:22:02] OK, so who would you sign in our?
[1:22:04] Shoes I don't have a a map of every striker that's available.
[1:22:08] I don't know but like for example.
[1:22:10] I have a name, one name right now.
[1:22:12] As you said, Yokoresh. OK, cost.
[1:22:15] I'd argue even triple the price because it's more than double
[1:22:19] the transfer fee. His wages are going to be a lot
[1:22:21] more than the lap, so it's probably even going to be triple
[1:22:23] the lap. Ozyman.
[1:22:25] Not worth it in my opinion. That's a risk.
[1:22:27] Again, coming from a shittier league, you're not.
[1:22:29] It's a risk. He's a proven goal scorer.
[1:22:30] He's always scored more than 20 goals.
[1:22:32] In the Champions League 2. He's done in the champ.
[1:22:34] For Anthony, Anthony was amazing in the Champions League 2.
[1:22:37] The Prem is a whole different beast.
[1:22:39] I don't want fucking players outside of the Prem.
[1:22:41] I don't want them. I don't want him.
[1:22:43] You can keep him. You can he can go to Milan, he
[1:22:45] can go to UV. UV you can keep Aussie men have
[1:22:47] fun. But he'll.
[1:22:48] Be good in an upgrade. He'll be good in city.
[1:22:50] Yeah, he's definitely an upgrade.
[1:22:51] He'll be good in City I. Love it.
[1:22:52] What would you say of Volvich? Fucking Volvich is Hoyland.
[1:22:55] I agree. I agree he's bad but like listen
[1:22:58] for 30 minutes. Better than the lab?
[1:23:00] I'd rather low keep the lab. Really, the lab is way better
[1:23:04] than Volvich. I don't give a shit about both
[1:23:06] of these players. I don't have an opinion.
[1:23:08] On that specifically, I think an English striker that understands
[1:23:13] the Premier League, that has the experience, like it makes a lot
[1:23:17] of sense. It'll be a lot easier for him to
[1:23:18] come into a team like Manchester United and kind of get into the
[1:23:22] and. It's one of the biggest green
[1:23:23] flags that a player, the progression chart is like this.
[1:23:27] It's not like that and like it's like the lap has gone like this.
[1:23:32] Every single lone move he's got in has been a success and every
[1:23:36] single like Ipswich first season in the Prem, Twelve goals.
[1:23:40] As for a relegation team, very good is fucking amazing.
[1:23:42] Very good, yes. But as I said, you're looking at
[1:23:45] the other top four teams in the Prem and their strikers are
[1:23:49] proven. But top four, we're not a top
[1:23:50] four team in the Prem. But that's what you're.
[1:23:52] Aiming for you, just said no next year top six.
[1:23:54] I'll be happy bro. But top six?
[1:23:56] Like what? Do we include Aston Villa 6
[1:23:59] right now? Yes, has Ollie Watkins.
[1:24:01] You know what I mean? But he's going to probably get
[1:24:03] sold next year. OK, but that's that's Ollie
[1:24:05] Watkins is way better than Liam Dilap.
[1:24:07] I agree. And Nottingham Forest has Chris
[1:24:08] Wood 10 years older. But yeah, almost 10 years older.
[1:24:11] Yes, he has more experience, but exactly experience Chris Wood.
[1:24:14] This would our experience is better than Chris Wood.
[1:24:16] You could argue that, but Chris Wood, Chris Wood.
[1:24:18] Chris Wood has had experience in the Prem.
[1:24:20] He's scored a lot of goals this year.
[1:24:22] He's been a very consistent. Matching about Chris Wood and
[1:24:26] instead of buying him at 31, you bought him at 22 and he was like
[1:24:30] when he was at Burnley, he was always Chris Wood because his
[1:24:33] team dynamics. You would probably argue, Oh my
[1:24:35] God, this guy's just a Burnley merchant.
[1:24:37] You would have argued anyways, the lap good signing in my
[1:24:42] personal opinion, stay away from the Gio Kadesh's the the Aussie
[1:24:45] men's. We can't afford to miss on an 80
[1:24:47] million player. Again, that's that's the facts.
[1:24:50] But however, there's there's in the top four race, at least
[1:24:53] there are I'd say three teams who have looked to have a, a
[1:24:58] better, at least a better season next year.
[1:25:00] You have Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal.
[1:25:03] Who do you guys think will have a better season next year?
[1:25:10] I mean, you, you don't want to put your money against
[1:25:12] Manchester City right now. Like, I, I, I understand that
[1:25:15] this season wasn't what they hoped, but brother, they might
[1:25:18] actually leap Arsenal this season.
[1:25:21] If, if, when the once the dust settles.
[1:25:24] So I don't know this. I'm going to say Manchester
[1:25:25] City, really. I feel like, OK, this might be a
[1:25:29] hot take, but Chelsea's progression has been quite
[1:25:32] linear and although this season they've had their lows, I still
[1:25:35] think what they're building is quite special.
[1:25:38] I, I, I don't know what you're waiting for.
[1:25:41] Like what? Where's this jump going to come
[1:25:43] from? I think if they get top five
[1:25:45] this year, which qualifies them for Champions League, that's the
[1:25:48] progression that Chelsea should have had in the past.
[1:25:51] I can't trust Enzo Maresca over a full season.
[1:25:54] Personally, I'm still going to go Arsenal.
[1:25:56] Personally I I still think Arsenal will have the best
[1:25:59] season out of these. I don't like Man City
[1:26:02] personally. I like I, I don't think that
[1:26:04] their squad is very good. They're relying a lot on these
[1:26:06] young, young players. Yes, Kusanov is barely playing
[1:26:10] nowadays. That's crazy.
[1:26:12] By the way, I know 35,000,000 he's barely even playing, but I
[1:26:15] think it's because he's still learning the language.
[1:26:16] He joined. He didn't even speak English.
[1:26:18] So it's it's small stuff like that.
[1:26:20] But Chelsea for me, I think Anzo Mareska is gonna get sacked next
[1:26:23] year. I don't think he's not the
[1:26:25] manager for Chelsea. Chelsea fans right now are very
[1:26:28] frustrated. I, I feel like their, their
[1:26:31] players, especially their, their top players have slightly
[1:26:34] regressed. Like I think Cole Palmer earlier
[1:26:36] in the season, well, obviously he was that guy.
[1:26:37] But this season it's not necessarily been as good as last
[1:26:41] season. Nicholas Jackson has, has has a
[1:26:44] bit of a goal drought as well. So I, I don't know, I, I don't
[1:26:47] see, I'm sure there's promise to the Chelsea project, but to make
[1:26:52] that jump over Manchester City or to make that jump over an
[1:26:56] Arsenal. I I.
[1:26:57] Just and I don't see, I don't see them bringing in any player
[1:27:00] that makes you go wow, wow this summer, like it's going to be
[1:27:03] the and they've laid the foundations from a couple years
[1:27:05] ago and they're going to keep riding with it.
[1:27:07] And I don't think that that's going to make them go from like
[1:27:10] I don't see them finishing higher than third.
[1:27:12] Third is like an amazing season. I agree, that's an amazing
[1:27:15] season by Chelsea. Yeah, but that I think that's.
[1:27:18] Arsenal. Like that's a fucking horrible
[1:27:20] season if you finished third. But exactly I I don't see
[1:27:23] Arsenal doing better than what they did this season.
[1:27:26] I disagree. I don't think if they bring in a
[1:27:27] striker, which they're probably gonna bring in Gil Kadesh, and
[1:27:30] like I said, it's a risk, but that's a risk.
[1:27:31] That's a club that's able to take a risk because of how
[1:27:34] they're set up. And if that hits, bro, you're
[1:27:36] talking about potentially winning the league.
[1:27:39] Do you see any, let's say Arsenal players not necessarily
[1:27:42] jumping ship but moving on elsewhere?
[1:27:45] I don't know, the Saliba Taliba talks to Real Madrid, You don't,
[1:27:48] you say no. But brother, there's a starting
[1:27:50] spot asking, begging for him at Real Madrid.
[1:27:54] He definitely starts. It takes It takes 3 to tangle in
[1:27:57] terms of transfers. Oh, brother, Saliba is one of
[1:27:58] them. He's ready to dance.
[1:27:59] He got his dancing shoes on, brother.
[1:28:01] Street to Madrid. No, David Ornstein actually just
[1:28:04] said that he's talking with Arsenal over an extension.
[1:28:07] That's that Trent extension right there.
[1:28:10] That's just to raise the floor bro.
[1:28:11] Yeah, but next year they will have Seliba in the team I'm
[1:28:14] expecting. We'll see.
[1:28:15] I don't know if if I'm an Arsenal player I'm concerned
[1:28:19] about like yes, there is progression, you made it to ACL
[1:28:22] semi final, you are competitive, but to make that jump to to
[1:28:28] actually win is a whole different game.
[1:28:31] Yes, they have the pieces to to get there and people can say
[1:28:34] they underperformed this season, but brother, they maybe Gokaris
[1:28:38] is that piece. That they need, we don't know.
[1:28:40] Definitely need a striker. Definitely need a striker.
[1:28:42] So I don't know. I still think Man City is still
[1:28:45] reliable. Is reliable enough because
[1:28:47] brother, if Man City finish above Arsenal this season.
[1:28:50] Next season, you mean? No this this season.
[1:28:52] They won't finish above this season bro.
[1:28:54] Arsenal, Spring, Newcastle. Right now I need.
[1:28:56] You to take a look at that top four at Mano.
[1:28:57] Arsenal, Newcastle, Man City wins their next game.
[1:29:00] They pass them. That's like a Spurs situation,
[1:29:02] like they finished third in a 2 horse race if they actually.
[1:29:04] But that, that's the possibility.
[1:29:06] I'm not saying it's gonna happen, I'm just saying there's
[1:29:08] a possibility. But Man City have been on great
[1:29:10] form 00 versus Southampton. Garbage though, that was
[1:29:13] terrible. They could have, literally.
[1:29:16] That would have made it that. Would have made it.
[1:29:17] Part of our Oracle moment. By the way, I predicted
[1:29:19] Newcastle top 4 this season. I'm pretty.
[1:29:21] Sure, you also predicted Man City out of top 4, so Barbara at
[1:29:24] out oracled out of their foot. There's three brother Newcastle
[1:29:29] could finish. Above our Newcastle's third.
[1:29:32] Arsenal's second issue. Newcastle could finish above
[1:29:34] Arsenal. Yes, like they play, they play
[1:29:37] Arsenal, imagine they beat them that's.
[1:29:39] What I'm saying? Absolute cinema.
[1:29:40] That's must see TV. Honestly, if Arsenal Miss Yell,
[1:29:43] that would be the greatest thing ever.
[1:29:44] I don't think that's not happening, I don't think.
[1:29:46] They do. They need our Aston Villa to win
[1:29:47] both games, Chelsea to win both games, but Aston Villa play Man
[1:29:51] United and Tottenham, so that's very 2 winnable, 2 very
[1:29:54] winnable. Chelsea play my.
[1:29:55] Honestly, if it came down to that last final day.
[1:29:58] Arsenal the extravaganza. I honestly say Man United throw
[1:30:02] the game. So I do it on purpose.
[1:30:04] Play EU eighteens. But that's what I'm saying.
[1:30:07] I don't wanna win that game if it I'd actually rather finish.
[1:30:11] I'd rather finish 17th and Arsenal miss yelled and finished
[1:30:15] like 15. Oh my.
[1:30:16] God, that is Saliba Saliba star learning Spanish and this.
[1:30:18] Will never happen, but this is amazing.
[1:30:20] Bonanza extravaganza Get. Rid of all those down the drain
[1:30:23] if Arsenal even get but look at this forum with.
[1:30:26] Terrible. They haven't won a game in five
[1:30:28] games. But I'm supposed to believe
[1:30:31] they're they're above into in the power rank?
[1:30:33] Yeah. But Newcastle bro, this is.
[1:30:36] What a team. The best, the best project.
[1:30:40] Very nice project like a win like project right there the.
[1:30:42] The progression the the squad building has been Immaculate so.
[1:30:47] Yeah, yeah. And a couple more additions and
[1:30:48] they I. Honestly argue Newcastle is
[1:30:50] going to finish the highest side of these three next.
[1:30:51] Year, it's very positive. Not a bad shout to be honest.
[1:30:53] Tip it, tip it. Hat to the.
[1:30:54] Team shout out Lucas Zurnich tip.
[1:30:55] It hat to the team. But what we'll we'll get to the
[1:30:58] classical games. I know, I know.
[1:30:59] We've we kind of blue balled them, but let's talk about Seria
[1:31:02] first, Torino, Inter and we're. Saving the best for last.
[1:31:05] Yeah, we're saving the best for. Last, because that was one of
[1:31:06] the greatest game. Yes, on top, after we had an
[1:31:09] enter varsity game, after that enter varsity game, we got
[1:31:11] something like that for an El Classico.
[1:31:13] Don't worry, we'll talk about it.
[1:31:14] But wait, we're not talking about Torino Inter.
[1:31:15] We're talking about the the state of Seria in the top, where
[1:31:19] Inter and Napoli are now tied. So let's let's lay it.
[1:31:21] Lay down the. Napoli's.
[1:31:23] No, they're tied. No, no, they're not tied.
[1:31:24] They're. Well, one point, Dad.
[1:31:25] So let's lay the foundations going into this weekend.
[1:31:28] Napoli were ahead by three points and listen, I'm always
[1:31:33] praying to the Lord saying I need not play to drop some
[1:31:36] points. So interplayed first.
[1:31:38] They had the first game end up beating Torino 2.
[1:31:40] Nothing with our B team. Some of the starters got a
[1:31:43] couple minutes there, but I'm happy.
[1:31:44] We played our second team exactly how I wanted to play.
[1:31:47] It was perfect. Is that a looski man of the?
[1:31:49] Master Oh my God is a Looski 6,000,000 we're gonna.
[1:31:51] Buy 6,000,000. Oh my God what is sunny PP
[1:31:53] Marotta master class PPP. Yeah but Inter end up getting
[1:32:01] those points so it ends up being tied.
[1:32:03] Going into the Napoli game versus Genoa.
[1:32:06] I was hoping for a miracle. Genoa though did take points
[1:32:09] off, ends up being 22. So now Napoli is only ahead by
[1:32:13] one point going into the last two games of the season.
[1:32:16] Inter do have to play Lazio, but not we have to play Parma, and
[1:32:20] Parma have taken points off at the top.
[1:32:22] I'm really hoping we get that one game, final, final to.
[1:32:25] This so I need the extravaganza. So there are rumors as to when
[1:32:29] that potential playoff would happen.
[1:32:33] Some people were saying it would be midweek before the champion,
[1:32:36] the. Final.
[1:32:36] Yeah, I need that. I would.
[1:32:38] That would be the worst week of my entire life.
[1:32:41] Enter We work on controversy like the more controversy that's
[1:32:44] the. More excuse right there.
[1:32:46] It's just getting ready. He's like.
[1:32:48] Like, like he's he. He thinks of it as like, our
[1:32:52] team's going to be dead, No, like this gives us more fuel to
[1:32:56] motivation, yes. You win the league and then you
[1:32:58] go win the champion. Like he looks like after we win
[1:33:01] the if we potentially lose this yield, he's going to come in
[1:33:04] saying we playing them in a week.
[1:33:06] You see me fans with expectations.
[1:33:08] We don't come up with excuses ever.
[1:33:10] We don't come up with excuses. Yeah, we just win.
[1:33:12] We just win. So I'm still expecting the
[1:33:15] trouble this year for Inter. But that's the expectations.
[1:33:19] Yeah, that's the expectations. Always were, yeah.
[1:33:22] But yeah, but this is the tightest race I've seen in a
[1:33:25] very, very, very long time. The last I would say the last
[1:33:29] four or five years since Conte's first inter season where it was
[1:33:33] decided by one point. Since then it mainly every
[1:33:36] season had been a blowout for for Setiat title, true title
[1:33:40] race. So yeah, this one's gonna be
[1:33:42] really interesting. But even more interesting is
[1:33:44] that top four race. What what happens if if it goes
[1:33:47] down to the playoff game, let's say, and and like Lukaku scores
[1:33:52] final minute and and Conte starts doing the Jose Mourinho
[1:33:55] around this Oh. My that.
[1:33:57] It just put on put on the B team and focus on Champions League.
[1:33:59] Bigger fish to fry? No, no, it's the last minute.
[1:34:02] Yeah, in the last. He already played 95 minutes.
[1:34:04] He. Just dunked on you.
[1:34:05] Basically the butter deck. The butter deck.
[1:34:07] I I may actually walk out of the room.
[1:34:09] But that that might be a live stream.
[1:34:10] I would need a minute. I would need a minute.
[1:34:12] Oh my God, I don't even want to. Think of the most boring 00 game
[1:34:16] that it's a classic Conte performance and Lukaku scores in
[1:34:20] the 95th minute. Usually Usually what happens in
[1:34:23] these crunch time moments is Lukaku gets in front of us and
[1:34:25] he ends up being the best. Defender, actually, they
[1:34:28] actually draw and we end up going to extra time.
[1:34:31] So you play an extra time, extra 30 minutes, two right before the
[1:34:36] CL finals. This is crazy.
[1:34:37] But PSG played their fucking CT versus Nas Vog.
[1:34:43] Back in Andre Santos. Yeah, that would suck, but.
[1:34:45] It's lining up to be a good last couple weeks.
[1:34:48] Oh, it's really and for both leagues, Premier League and and
[1:34:50] Seria. Yeah, it's.
[1:34:51] And The thing is, is that it's not like the big teams are
[1:34:53] facing smaller teams. All the big teams are kind of
[1:34:55] facing each other. Like today as a recording it's
[1:34:58] Roma Atlanta which has big applications to the top 4 and
[1:35:01] then Interlacio which have big implication.
[1:35:04] Milan Roma after. Milan Roma after Roma.
[1:35:06] I need a win. I really, I'm really hoping Roma
[1:35:10] make Champions League over. I'd be happy with that.
[1:35:11] I'd be so happy but yeah, imagine palace face when they
[1:35:14] sell yieldies for 35. Yeah, it's all for the man.
[1:35:20] You bro. Yeah, but I think I went.
[1:35:22] From Denali, Ozimen to Yeah, you're gonna get this fucking
[1:35:25] Chico contisal and for. Yieldies chel, you gotta pay for
[1:35:28] Chico Contisalo. OK Yodis gotta let you go bro.
[1:35:31] Gotta let you go but I think you you was playing Udinez and
[1:35:35] Venezia so I I bro if you need to.
[1:35:38] Win Venezia, can you do something?
[1:35:39] Venezia, Jaluca Buja. I'm looking at you, my brother.
[1:35:42] Need you to do. Something I need you to do
[1:35:43] something FRA FRA something, I think.
[1:35:46] I think they got it but. So who do you who do you think
[1:35:48] ends up making Champions League? Roma, I don't want a jinx.
[1:35:51] I want Roma to make it Roma, Roma, Veneti, Desert Veneti,
[1:35:54] coach of the season. Not even a debate.
[1:35:57] I I think he wins it regardless. Might just win it regardless
[1:36:00] unless you give it to Conte. Fabregas linked to Roma.
[1:36:04] That would do numbers. That's a great fit.
[1:36:06] Yeah, then you sell out an. And then Davide Ancelotti.
[1:36:10] Who Davide Ancelotti Tacomo supposed to lose David?
[1:36:13] Ancelotti son. He plays the assistant coach for
[1:36:16] Real Madrid. For real?
[1:36:17] Yeah, I did not know that. Yeah.
[1:36:19] Is he is he good with the vibes? Yeah, we don't know.
[1:36:22] We don't know. God knows.
[1:36:23] Nepotism. But you know who wasn't good in
[1:36:25] the Ocasico? Goop.
[1:36:27] Real Madrid, which even with around an IMBAPI hat trick they
[1:36:32] were not able to win. Did you see every single?
[1:36:34] Well, no, that's it's a kind of a fake stack because Gu Rossi
[1:36:37] won the game but lost a tie. So it's whatever.
[1:36:39] It's a Barsa fake stat. Obviously one but.
[1:36:41] Lost it. Oh.
[1:36:42] So every single time someone's gotten a hat trick against
[1:36:45] Barcelona this season, they ended up losing the game.
[1:36:47] Crazy work. You score 3, we score four, bro.
[1:36:50] That's a little. Honestly this game was just
[1:36:52] crazy. I don't get to watch.
[1:36:54] I was eating breakfast. OK, so we gotta give you the
[1:36:56] run. I was.
[1:36:57] I was at brunch for Mother's Day.
[1:36:59] So here's what happened. Game started.
[1:37:02] The Barcelona highline was playing the gimmick, you know
[1:37:05] what I mean? And Bapet, two goals off the off
[1:37:07] the 10 minutes. Yeah, crazy you you would think
[1:37:11] Real Madrid had this. Barbara Bernat texting me
[1:37:13] because we had me and Barbara Bernat still had a vet going
[1:37:15] because because interbeat. You texted us.
[1:37:18] OK, OK, OK. This is the problem.
[1:37:19] This is the problem. We were walking back from Box to
[1:37:21] Box HQ and Barbara, Bernat's next door.
[1:37:24] So then we're like, OK, let's go say let's go say bye to Bernat.
[1:37:27] You know, we'll call it a day. So we literally just walked in
[1:37:29] once to say bye. He came out of there.
[1:37:31] Varvara has 6 haircuts on the line because of classic.
[1:37:35] So he already owed ME3 haircuts because Inter beat Parsa and he
[1:37:40] put he went all in basically on that game.
[1:37:43] So didn't end up well for Barbara Bernat.
[1:37:45] And I'm like, you know what, Bernat?
[1:37:46] I like, you know that I was rage baiting, but I'm like, you know,
[1:37:51] Barcelona's going to beat Real Madrid.
[1:37:53] So like why don't we just do double or nothing?
[1:37:55] Just for you, my friend. Oh.
[1:37:56] Thank you, bro. Thank you, bro.
[1:37:57] Thank you. Like you you bail me out like
[1:37:59] this and then it's two nil. And then I texted him like not
[1:38:03] looking good in the Arimano, not looking good.
[1:38:06] And then yeah, that's just the Barbara Jinx, bro.
[1:38:08] Yeah, unreal. And you even texted the group
[1:38:10] chat. I forgot what you said, but
[1:38:11] you're like, what did you text? I'll find it.
[1:38:14] But I also texted the Discord. Text everyone at that moment.
[1:38:17] I said. I said real virus bring the
[1:38:19] block and you see as soon as I texted we are La Liga winners in
[1:38:25] the discord, the all the ravaging fans started fucking
[1:38:28] freaking out. They're like, no, we're going to
[1:38:30] lose now and then they actually did.
[1:38:32] Yeah, no doubt. But for when they went up to
[1:38:34] nothing, but this is like the third, third game in a row or
[1:38:38] something for Barcelona to go down 4th game in a row, they
[1:38:41] went down and had to come back. So first first like Inter
[1:38:45] Legganes I'm pretty sure, then enter again, then real.
[1:38:49] Crazy. So both times.
[1:38:52] So now again 2 nothing and as an inter interista I knew.
[1:38:56] I texted the group. I knew that.
[1:38:58] I just remember what you texted. Obviously we don't live stream
[1:39:00] the one time Real Madrid win, yeah.
[1:39:03] And then? I'm like, Barsa's not coming
[1:39:06] back. Right 21.
[1:39:08] Right 22. But it was like a minute or two,
[1:39:10] a Part 2. Yeah, they scored, Yeah.
[1:39:12] Real Madrid, First off, we just have to say Real Madrid had a
[1:39:16] worse defensive performance than Barcelona.
[1:39:19] And do you know how hard I find that is extremely difficult.
[1:39:22] Well bro they're all their centre backs are injured, they
[1:39:24] have no full backs. This was insanely bad squad
[1:39:27] debulding this year. It really.
[1:39:28] Was it really was misses but everywhere?
[1:39:30] So, so then before, before we started this part, because we
[1:39:34] were talking about Rodrigo not starting that game and you were
[1:39:36] saying, oh thank God, Rodrigo. Scored three goals.
[1:39:38] Bro what the fuck? They still scored, yes, but
[1:39:40] brother, they still the problem is the defense at Real Madrid,
[1:39:43] yes, I'm not. Saying, but that doesn't mean
[1:39:45] that the decision of not playing Rodrigo wasn't justified.
[1:39:48] Why? Bro you think Rodrigo they win
[1:39:51] this game if Rodrigo plays. And BAPIS scores 3.
[1:39:54] No, that's not how it works. Because and BAPI didn't score 3
[1:39:56] when Rodrigo played, so that's not how it worked.
[1:39:58] But they have scored three with Rodrigo playing.
[1:40:00] Not against Real Madrid, not against Barcelona.
[1:40:02] Man City. Every time.
[1:40:03] Every time Barcelona play, they've they've Loki shot the
[1:40:07] bed this year. Real Madrid.
[1:40:08] Who? Oh.
[1:40:09] Yeah, Real Madrid offensively even not just defensive, but
[1:40:12] defensively they've always shot the bed.
[1:40:13] It's offensively they've but. That goes back to my point.
[1:40:16] Defensively, this team is not set up right.
[1:40:18] This was the best. Performance against Barcelona
[1:40:20] this year by Real Madrid and that's not a good thing to say.
[1:40:23] It isn't a good thing but but this was the best 1 so I can't I
[1:40:26] like. Best it's it's just a
[1:40:28] performance. There's not best.
[1:40:30] There's no best out of the but it.
[1:40:32] Was the least worst. Brother, if there's if there's
[1:40:35] skating a. There's no There's no best
[1:40:38] rotten apple, three rotten apples at all rotten.
[1:40:41] I think I speak for all. Real Madrid fans, when I say
[1:40:44] Rodrigo needs to get out of the club.
[1:40:45] Rodrigo is not the problem here. I'm not saying he's the sole
[1:40:48] problem, but I'm saying if you Trabi Alonzo's coming in,
[1:40:52] Rodrigo out verts in, no mistake about it.
[1:40:56] Like do not even think about it. That's the most clear upgrade of
[1:40:59] all time. What the more I think about it,
[1:41:01] it's like, listen, Rodrigo, you, you could invest as elsewhere,
[1:41:06] you could distribute funds. Elsewhere, it really it depends
[1:41:09] on Real Madrid's financial situation.
[1:41:11] If you're telling me that they can't afford anybody if they
[1:41:14] don't sell Rodrigo, then we have a separate.
[1:41:16] Saying even if you have a trillion dollars to spend this
[1:41:19] summer, why the fuck would you sell?
[1:41:21] Why still sell Rodrigo? There's no reason.
[1:41:23] Go and get a verts. But if you if you could keep
[1:41:25] Rodrigo and also get a verts then just do that then.
[1:41:27] Rodrigo's playing 20 minutes next year, and then he sold for
[1:41:30] 20 shekels to West Ham I. Think it's 20 shekels now bro
[1:41:33] because. No, he's 80 mil.
[1:41:36] Man City are heavily linked. There's other Liverpool also are
[1:41:39] kind of interested. There's always that Ali Lal you
[1:41:42] could always send them to. Ali, Ali, it's.
[1:41:44] Just complete mismanagement of of a front three that should
[1:41:48] have been the best in the world. And we all spoke about it.
[1:41:50] We've always said it on the podcast.
[1:41:52] It's not how are. They going to manage with three
[1:41:54] world class players. When when when when Ronaldo
[1:41:57] joined that first. Also it took a bit of time to to
[1:42:01] change the squad to maximize Ronaldo.
[1:42:04] So give him time next year bro. Trent playing a high line
[1:42:08] against Barcel with Trent and and Boppe in behind.
[1:42:12] Now you're cooking Marshall. See, that's gonna be 7 on
[1:42:15] Barsa's. Don't know.
[1:42:16] Yeah, I know. But totally square.
[1:42:17] Boppe practically had seven, no. And Boppe practically had like
[1:42:20] six goals this game and Boppe 3 off sides or two off sides.
[1:42:23] Did you see that two that that big miss after the three goals?
[1:42:27] He could have legit had four. Well, no, there was.
[1:42:30] Oh, the one-on-one. Yeah, the one-on-one one on.
[1:42:32] One and he he hit it too early and he hit it too early.
[1:42:37] He was way far out. He was far out and he had space
[1:42:39] to dribble, but he just went for the shot.
[1:42:41] Yeah, that was pretty bad. The Munoz miss the the little
[1:42:45] the sub guy. Oh, brother's horrendous brother
[1:42:47] that. What's crazy to me is that they
[1:42:49] literally subbed off Vinicius Junior in 80th minute for
[1:42:53] basically a La Fabrica player and and then his literal first
[1:42:57] touch of the game should have been a goal and it was a
[1:43:01] complete miss. And that's the Vinny.
[1:43:02] Replacement, you see they the Real Madrid La Fabrica player
[1:43:07] had to close his comment section because he was getting ripped
[1:43:09] too much. Well, it was, poor guy.
[1:43:10] It's a really bad miss. Like really really bad.
[1:43:13] It's terrifying, but yeah, you came out for Vinny.
[1:43:15] Vinny scores that and you came on and first shot of the game
[1:43:17] and you you whipped to tie the game and then that then and Bapi
[1:43:21] scored off the corner, but then it ended up being a a foul or an
[1:43:25] offside or something crazy like that again, like.
[1:43:27] You see the clip on the outside saying thank God.
[1:43:30] Yeah, the the feta mean what a goal.
[1:43:34] That would have, yeah, that was a nice goal.
[1:43:36] I I look I admitted I was wrong but feta mean what a player.
[1:43:41] At first I wasn't sold, but I I've since retracted my
[1:43:44] statement. Is is the classic La Masia
[1:43:46] player that you? Kind of.
[1:43:47] It's not a little classic, bro. What do you mean it's not
[1:43:49] classic? Classic meaning good.
[1:43:50] This guy's fucking no, but he's not.
[1:43:53] He's not a regular player bro. That's what you know, but Sao
[1:43:55] thinks he is. No, no business being.
[1:43:59] But that's what I'm saying, Chico cuts to Sao that he he
[1:44:01] tries to play. No, if he joined UVA.
[1:44:04] If Fermin joined UVA, Paolo would be sitting here saying
[1:44:06] this is fucking the best tiny incarnated.
[1:44:09] But what an absolute player. Valverde got thrown into a
[1:44:12] laundry machine. Yeah, he looked injured as well
[1:44:15] at one point. Now Arsenal, hear me out.
[1:44:17] Odegard fucking back to Norway. Sell them to fucking your garden
[1:44:22] or some shit. You get Fermi, Lopez.
[1:44:23] Get Fermi Lopez, who says no. Yeah, yeah.
[1:44:28] That mean Danny? Lopez.
[1:44:29] Danny Omo did not have a good game again and when Fermi Lopez
[1:44:33] came in he looked more lively. So Barcelona played Listen
[1:44:36] defensively once again. There's too many mistakes, but
[1:44:39] they played well in attack. Lamini Amal looked like the best
[1:44:41] player on the pitch, as per usual.
[1:44:43] Does Barcelona go in next season with Inigo Martinez?
[1:44:45] Sell at the back or no? I think it would be nice to get
[1:44:48] an upgrade. Yeah, ideally not.
[1:44:50] Like, like Barcelona this summer is a tricky team because one,
[1:44:53] we're not even sure if they have money to spend.
[1:44:54] Yeah, like, it would not surprise me in Barcelona went to
[1:44:56] spend 200 million this summer or they said, yeah, we're broke, we
[1:44:58] can't spend anything. So you can't even rule anything
[1:45:01] out. But like, let's say they did
[1:45:03] have a bit of money. Which players would you sign?
[1:45:06] Center box. But which player like you have
[1:45:08] you have an idea of which I think it needs to be like a this
[1:45:12] is just you wouldn't be able to get him, but like a conate type.
[1:45:15] For me it would need to be like physical yes play a high line
[1:45:19] fast. In the back.
[1:45:20] You need a fast one. Yeah, I do agree with that.
[1:45:22] I don't. I don't.
[1:45:23] Barcelona so he needs to be comfortable on the ball. 100%.
[1:45:26] Then you'll and you basically just sign that a hole if he's
[1:45:28] not comfortable on the ball. They said they said Bastoni fits
[1:45:31] their profile. Bro Bastoni fits the profile of
[1:45:33] every. Club in world.
[1:45:35] Ever in history. He's not that fast though.
[1:45:37] Yeah, well, he's not slow. He's not slow, but he's not
[1:45:39] fast. I, I mean, I think you could
[1:45:41] sacrifice a bit of speed for everything else, he offers.
[1:45:44] Yeah, Kubati for some of I. Think I think that tie really
[1:45:46] opened people's eyes that Kubatasi fully formed is just
[1:45:50] Bastoni. But but that's.
[1:45:52] Not a very good player. You had a great game was.
[1:45:56] The worst player you did. Not have a great game at all.
[1:45:58] Was not that. Forget Barcelona.
[1:45:59] Enter. I'm talking about Barcelona.
[1:46:01] Barcelona defensively I've had the worst like like people don't
[1:46:05] like to speak about it, bro. I'm going to read you off how
[1:46:07] many goals they've allowed this last month, OK?
[1:46:09] You're going to be flabbergasted brother.
[1:46:11] That's the how bad they've conceded.
[1:46:13] Like they allow 33 against Real Madrid, four against Inter, one
[1:46:16] against Valedolid, 3 against Inter, 2 Real Madrid, three
[1:46:19] Celta Vigo, 3 Dortmund. Like track.
[1:46:22] It's it's a lot of yeah, a lot of defensive mistakes.
[1:46:26] I don't my it's probably the highline that's working against
[1:46:30] them. Sometimes when like a Balde gets
[1:46:31] injured, Akunde gets injured. You got to play like Hera
[1:46:34] Martin, who I don't know how that brother is even part of
[1:46:37] this Barcelona squad. Like Hector Fort, Hector Fort as
[1:46:40] well. Like these brothers cannot pass
[1:46:42] the ball. Like OK, Martin got the two
[1:46:44] assists again against Inter. Harry Garcia even scored.
[1:46:46] He even scored. Harry Garcia's all right as a
[1:46:48] sub. Yeah, as a sub.
[1:46:50] That's like you're you're Eric Garcia and basically needs to be
[1:46:53] their fucking Jesus Vallejo. It's literally your someone
[1:46:56] always needs them. You're an emergency player.
[1:46:58] Yeah, but. Definitely squads.
[1:47:00] Are lucky that aluminium all exists that what's what's his
[1:47:04] name bag what's what's what's the hustle hard hustle hard
[1:47:07] they're lucky that hustle hard 1717 years ago like 17 years ago
[1:47:13] decided. That tonight's the night.
[1:47:16] Tonight's the night indeed. Because that night created.
[1:47:20] Greatness. Generational.
[1:47:22] Honestly. Greatness.
[1:47:24] Like. Like guys on a different planet,
[1:47:25] man. Hustle hard bro.
[1:47:28] You might, just you. Might.
[1:47:29] You might eat the bottle up some of that, send it to me because
[1:47:31] you're working with some good shit in that crazy.
[1:47:34] What the fuck? Fuck you, fuck you gonna do with
[1:47:38] that? Bro.
[1:47:39] That shit. What's the plan?
[1:47:40] Well. I'm a create greatness with
[1:47:42] that. You.
[1:47:42] What do you mean you? Well, me, I don't know me, but
[1:47:44] we're, we're, we're on project Yamal bro.
[1:47:46] And I'm trying to get myself the best odds possible.
[1:47:49] Bro, I don't think that's how it works.
[1:47:51] Yeah, I don't think that's. Not sure how that works.
[1:47:54] But that's just something to tell us.
[1:47:57] Crazy. But Mr. Hustle hard, you've
[1:47:59] worked. You've you've worked.
[1:48:01] You're working. Real Madrid fan by the way, Mr.
[1:48:02] Hustle hard so. He didn't admit that.
[1:48:04] It would only like Barcelona, like only a Majidista could
[1:48:08] create such a fine individual. So.
[1:48:12] Crazy. But I mean, I mean, on the topic
[1:48:14] of, I mean, Yamal, do we consider him now the Balandor
[1:48:16] leader? Obviously, obviously, yeah.
[1:48:19] I think so. And I said this months ago,
[1:48:22] Oracle shit once again. How many times am I going to be
[1:48:24] proven right this podcast? Let's hear it's here, this
[1:48:26] Oracle. Rufina was never the bound Eldor
[1:48:28] leader he never deserved. Literally he never deserved to
[1:48:32] be the bound door leader. Was always La Mina mouth team.
[1:48:35] And I've said this from the start, La Mina mouth is a
[1:48:37] special one. Rufina is just a very good
[1:48:39] player. Rufina has had a world class
[1:48:42] season. Yes, but La Mina Mao is a better
[1:48:44] player and the same team. When once again when I said when
[1:48:48] I talk about in Zagi when he game planned for this game, it
[1:48:52] wasn't Rafina, it was how the fuck do we stop Lamin Yamal?
[1:48:55] I agree. Nobody in this room has ever
[1:48:58] argued that Yamal is not a better player than Rafina.
[1:49:01] He is. But the season that Rafina has
[1:49:03] had, no, you need to credit him. Yes.
[1:49:05] Credit him, give him a team of the year's spots.
[1:49:07] Gary, you had a good season, bro.
[1:49:09] He deserves a team of the year. I agree and I think right now
[1:49:12] obviously after seeing the Inter game, although they did lose,
[1:49:15] Yamal was the main man. After seeing this Real Madrid
[1:49:18] game, Yamal was the main man again.
[1:49:19] Even Rafina did score. He did score.
[1:49:23] He scored two. Yeah, he scored two and an
[1:49:25] assist. I think he scored two.
[1:49:26] It's a great game. Still, he's still performing.
[1:49:28] That's what I'm telling you. Rafina's still performing, yes,
[1:49:31] but Yamal is a Balandor winner. Not a Balandor winner.
[1:49:35] It would be the biggest scam of all time if Rafina won the bound
[1:49:38] door this year. I think for the public, if Yamal
[1:49:40] wins it, it's more acceptable, Yeah, because obviously Rafina,
[1:49:43] like there's always that connotation like, oh, he came
[1:49:46] from Leeds. He he was a bust there.
[1:49:49] Like whatever you. Know the aura lamina has right
[1:49:51] now bro. Yamal has the.
[1:49:52] Streets Travis Scott, now officially the only football
[1:49:57] player in the world that he follows, doesn't follow Mess, he
[1:49:59] doesn't follow Ronaldo. He follows Lamina.
[1:50:00] She's reactions. Yeah, he's freaking out.
[1:50:03] That's kind of a forced reaction, but.
[1:50:04] Aura. That's but you see, that's a
[1:50:06] real that's a real cooler. That's a real cooler right now.
[1:50:09] That's a real cooler. Force, but he's.
[1:50:10] Being entities though, like it's like that's a real entities.
[1:50:14] You can't fake that reaction. No, you really can't.
[1:50:16] Yeah, no. And even you got Terry RE
[1:50:17] starstruck exchanging shirts with Lamine Yamal, the 17 year
[1:50:21] old. Yeah, he did say after the after
[1:50:23] the first leg that he was gonna give do it so.
[1:50:26] Yeah, they got the streets. Definitely.
[1:50:28] I think Lamine Yamal is definitely the front runner.
[1:50:31] I don't see another player right now at at that level.
[1:50:34] So I guess like we do, we discount.
[1:50:36] Like if PSG wins the Champions League I don't give a fuck.
[1:50:39] Discount. Honestly, I I saw, I saw
[1:50:42] something that the last last couple of Balandor winners
[1:50:44] aren't even Champions League winners.
[1:50:46] No. They haven't won the.
[1:50:48] Champion. It's a Barsa Real Madrid award.
[1:50:50] We have to fucking preface this. It's.
[1:50:53] Acting like Barcelona didn't have an amazing season though,
[1:50:55] no. I agree but that's what I'm
[1:50:57] saying if if Barcelona, Real Madrid have shit seasons then
[1:51:02] they start giving it out. If they have shit seasons then
[1:51:05] they give it out to a Rodri. They give it out to other people
[1:51:07] that if if Barsa or. Real Madrid did a double last
[1:51:11] year. When Raji won, Real Madrid did a
[1:51:13] double. Yeah, but they like just cause
[1:51:16] the EUR took precedent. Yeah, I don't know how that
[1:51:18] broader wasn't even the best player at the EUR.
[1:51:20] The Armenian Mall was the best player at the EUR also.
[1:51:22] That's a whole. Did win he win a young player?
[1:51:25] Yes, but he should have won player he.
[1:51:26] Could have. Yeah, he could.
[1:51:27] Whatever. Last year low key Amal had a
[1:51:29] better reason to win the boundary than Rodri, but that's
[1:51:31] OK also. Now, now, if they do win the
[1:51:34] league, that's a domestic. I'm top Yamal Glazer.
[1:51:37] Yeah, number. You guys have to understand.
[1:51:38] Over glazed. Under glazed.
[1:51:40] I'm number one limit to the glazed.
[1:51:41] Oh, if there's, if there's one Glazer in the world, I'm like,
[1:51:44] if there's one person left on Earth like that, that needs to
[1:51:47] be like Yamal Glazer, I'm not mad.
[1:51:49] Wearing the Madrid. For I need that I need.
[1:51:54] That. You know how insane that glaze
[1:51:56] is? Hustle hard please bro please.
[1:51:58] The Real Madrid kid is crazy. Hustle hard, bro.
[1:52:01] One magic, he said to another bro, I need it.
[1:52:04] That's I need it. Pro I.
[1:52:08] Don't know, but anyways, Angelotti to Brazil just got
[1:52:10] announced. Yeah, there we go.
[1:52:12] That nice little perfect timing. Take a little switch.
[1:52:16] Honestly, and they fired, I'm pretty sure they fired the the
[1:52:19] head of like the Brazilian federation, I think Ed Naldo, I
[1:52:23] think he got fired. My God they fired everyone for
[1:52:25] the game. Yeah, well bro, they need to
[1:52:27] clean house. They do need to.
[1:52:28] That's what they really need to do.
[1:52:29] Yes, I agree. But yeah, I mean, I personally
[1:52:33] don't see them competing producer team.
[1:52:37] You're good, you're good. You want some water appearance.
[1:52:40] Speaking about Angela, they got them all.
[1:52:41] Yeah, but. I I personally think this
[1:52:45] doesn't close the gap between them and Argentina.
[1:52:47] Personally, no. It does help though.
[1:52:49] It helps. I think it's more the quality of
[1:52:51] the team has not been that good. Brazil has not been producing
[1:52:54] top level talent. You know you're going to
[1:52:56] maximize Vinicius now. With Ancelotti there, like now,
[1:52:59] Vinicius doesn't have any excuse.
[1:53:01] Agreed. And and there's really no other
[1:53:03] player to to outshine him like what happened at Real Madrid.
[1:53:06] Now it's kind of like, you know, Vinny's, yeah.
[1:53:08] Is this the first ever manager for Brazil that's not Brazilian?
[1:53:13] I can't remember off the top of my head, but I don't and I'm
[1:53:18] sure there's maybe one. No way.
[1:53:21] There's no way. I think potentially one of the
[1:53:23] managers that Pele won the World Cup with was not Brazilian if
[1:53:27] I'm not mistaken. No, Brazil has never had a
[1:53:29] national team manager who was not Brazilian.
[1:53:30] So this is the first ever. So they're taking a different
[1:53:33] route, which I like because all their players are basically
[1:53:36] playing in Europe. It fits the Ancelotti type of
[1:53:39] playing. I, I feel like having a
[1:53:41] Brazilian manager, yes, it's easier to communicate, it's
[1:53:44] easier to have that culture. But if the players are all in
[1:53:46] Europe, the the standards are a bit different.
[1:53:49] I. Think it's a very dinosaur way
[1:53:50] of thinking that you need a Brazilian manager because
[1:53:53] nowadays, bro, the Brazil national team, all those players
[1:53:55] play in Spain. Like I'm saying, you can get a
[1:53:57] manager that just speaks Spanish and it it works fine.
[1:53:59] Exactly. Maybe it's a bit tougher working
[1:54:01] with the staff because maybe the staff don't speak.
[1:54:04] Yeah, they think. It is own staff than me.
[1:54:06] But like, it's the same thing as too cool for for England, like
[1:54:08] Tuko speaks English. There should be no good work.
[1:54:11] Yeah, exactly. So Italy.
[1:54:14] The issue with Italy is that a lot of our players just speak
[1:54:17] Italian and a lot of our staff just speak Italian and Italians.
[1:54:20] It's not a common language. But I also don't think that
[1:54:22] Italy have a reason to look for another nationality manager
[1:54:25] because we have a very good proper managers.
[1:54:28] So I think we we kind of get a pass.
[1:54:29] I think Germany gets a pass. But like let's say if Italy
[1:54:33] we're not, we're not able to get a Conte or a a top, top level
[1:54:39] Italian manager, I think you're better off getting a Tuko then
[1:54:44] let's just use this. Yeah, you never.
[1:54:46] You never know. Paladino or something?
[1:54:47] You never know because look at Spain with De la Fuente.
[1:54:50] They went and got a De la Fuente.
[1:54:52] Bro de la Fuente dominated U21. But exactly, I'm sure there's AU
[1:54:56] 21 manager that for Italian fucking ass.
[1:54:59] What do you mean you wouldn't even know?
[1:55:01] I don't know, I. Don't know because that's why I
[1:55:02] don't know because they're probably fucking ass.
[1:55:04] I forgot his name though. They made it to a euro final.
[1:55:06] Yeah, but then we got dominated. But but.
[1:55:09] To your final. Like there are managers, even
[1:55:12] lower level managers in Italy that are still good like.
[1:55:15] Yeah, there are. There are good managers, but I
[1:55:17] do think that the crop that we have that could be available,
[1:55:21] we're OK. Yeah, how do we link this back
[1:55:23] to Italy? I don't know, I guess we're
[1:55:26] Italian, but. But yeah, it would have been
[1:55:28] nice for him to coach the Italian national team at a
[1:55:30] certain point, I find it would have been cool, but.
[1:55:32] I mean, I think this fits perfect.
[1:55:33] He he's getting he's he's, he's finding faces that around
[1:55:38] Madrid, he's seen a lot, he's coached.
[1:55:40] He's also a manager that's able to bring people together.
[1:55:43] You could argue his tactics aren't that good but and he's
[1:55:46] he's never been a tactical manager.
[1:55:47] But but national team football. Exactly.
[1:55:49] You don't even need that fairly tactically focused.
[1:55:51] And I think this is also a good appointment for someone like
[1:55:55] Neymar because like if if you were to go, let's say get a
[1:55:59] player coach like Thomas Tukel, just for an example, he demands
[1:56:04] a lot of running, he demands a lot of defensive work.
[1:56:06] Angelotti, he he kind of fits his system to his players.
[1:56:11] So a player like Neymar is going to be able to still get called
[1:56:15] up under Ancelotti and he's good at managing older players too.
[1:56:18] You saw with like Madrich how he's able to keep him going for
[1:56:21] on even Madrich is still 40 or 41 years old, like he's still
[1:56:25] able to play top level football. So I think even for for a
[1:56:28] Neymar, which I'm happy, I want to see Neymar still play on the
[1:56:31] top. It would be nice.
[1:56:32] So I, I definitely think it's a good move and.
[1:56:35] Ancelotti to lift the the 5th World Cup for Brazil over Italy.
[1:56:39] But Brazil's not even a contender for next World Cup.
[1:56:41] 6:00 They have 5 already, yeah. They're not even a contender.
[1:56:44] For I don't think they touch. They're going to be at 5 for a
[1:56:46] long time. Yes, they are going to be.
[1:56:48] Five, they need an overhaul. Once you're when your domestic
[1:56:51] league is so poor, it's very difficult to like consistently.
[1:56:58] It it depends. It depends because like you see
[1:57:00] like like a Portugal or a Netherlands or that aren't
[1:57:04] necessarily at. But they're not.
[1:57:05] They're not even coming close to World Cups.
[1:57:08] Yes, but they are competitive on the European but.
[1:57:11] Netherlands was only competitive on the European stage when their
[1:57:14] league was somewhat good. Yeah, but players are also at a
[1:57:18] level where they could be playing at a top European like
[1:57:20] Brazil. Brazil, like they they have this
[1:57:22] idea that they have to be playing players from the
[1:57:24] Brazilian city out. Like the quality just isn't
[1:57:27] there. The quality is not there at all.
[1:57:29] So if you're able to get Brazilians from Europe, that
[1:57:32] should be the squad. Yeah, it really doesn't matter
[1:57:34] if they played Brazilian City out because it's not doing you
[1:57:36] any favors. It really isn't.
[1:57:38] You're giving players some Brazilian national team minutes,
[1:57:40] but brother, they're not national team level.
[1:57:43] True in the grand scheme of things.
[1:57:45] So yeah, I don't, I don't know. It's tough because you have such
[1:57:48] a shit crop of defenders and and.
[1:57:51] Terrible. Well, I mean, you're still
[1:57:52] starting, Martino. 'S and Brazilian midfielders
[1:57:54] have fallen off severe. That's what.
[1:57:56] That's what's bad. Yeah, like you like they speak
[1:57:59] about Bruno Guimarisch as if he's like the second coming of
[1:58:02] Jesus. Starting like Andre, who's a
[1:58:03] good player, but like you're Brazil, I'd hope.
[1:58:06] You had you had legendary players.
[1:58:08] Like Andre doesn't even come close to making like a English
[1:58:11] team or. No, I don't think so.
[1:58:12] Team like. Shouldn't be starting.
[1:58:14] And you go back like maybe, maybe five years ago and you had
[1:58:17] Luis Gustavo like the the crop of players just has not been.
[1:58:19] There it was literally just Casamiro carry job, Yeah, and
[1:58:22] Fabinho when he was decent, like, like, but there's never
[1:58:25] been. You go back 20 years, bro.
[1:58:28] Brazilian midfielders were like the Creme de la Creme.
[1:58:30] Yeah, yeah, yeah. They they were, they were elite.
[1:58:32] Yeah, they were elite. But I mean, with Angelotti gone
[1:58:36] now to the Brazil team, that means that a Real Madrid spot is
[1:58:39] open. And after months of speculation,
[1:58:42] Chabi Alonso is now the new manager of Real Madrid.
[1:58:46] Confirmado official, gentlemen. Do you think this is the move
[1:58:50] that'll change Real Madrid's fortunes?
[1:58:52] Yes, yes, I think next year Real Madrid will be winning La Liga.
[1:58:57] Personally, if they came so close this year with a horrible
[1:59:00] Real Madrid team, which I be Alonso, I'm expecting to win the
[1:59:02] league by at least like 5-6, seven points.
[1:59:06] I don't guaranteed, I don't think it was easily at like the
[1:59:09] the 2nd place was a very tough second place for Real Madrid.
[1:59:12] They dropped a lot of points. This year, with this
[1:59:14] generational Barsa team, it came down to the final three games of
[1:59:18] the season to determine who won La Liga.
[1:59:20] I know, but Barcelona have also dominantly beat them in Super
[1:59:24] Copa Dom yes. So it's not like it can get
[1:59:27] worse. They can only take more points
[1:59:29] off of Barcelona next. Year you also have to, you have
[1:59:32] to count that Chabi Alonso is coming in with probably a three
[1:59:34] back formation. So that's going to take time to
[1:59:36] build. You need some wing backs.
[1:59:39] There needs to be a total rebuild in the back.
[1:59:40] Not just getting any regular wing back too.
[1:59:42] You're getting Trent Alexander Arnold.
[1:59:44] That's how Least and BAPE will score next year.
[1:59:49] Minimum. Forty goals.
[1:59:51] Minimum. That's conservative, yeah.
[1:59:53] Exactly. That's like conservative I'm
[1:59:55] being generous. That's being very generous and
[1:59:57] out and out in the in the quarter finals, the Champions
[1:59:59] League too, You're not counting a full round of semis.
[2:00:01] You're not counting. Maybe a final even, but.
[2:00:04] Boss, they they need a completely new back line.
[2:00:06] Yeah, that back line is just completely just.
[2:00:08] No, I think you could still depend on like a Rudiger, maybe
[2:00:11] a Raul essential. You can still count on that you
[2:00:14] got. Three starting center box plus
[2:00:16] backups. They're they're barely putting
[2:00:17] out two right now. So they they're going to need to
[2:00:20] make some heavy investments there.
[2:00:22] I know you mentioned even bring verts from, from buyer Lever
[2:00:25] Cruz and sell Rodrigo bring verts in.
[2:00:28] That could change a lot. And then I don't I don't know.
[2:00:30] I don't know. This is going to be a very, very
[2:00:32] big job for Chavi Alonzo, but if there's one person that could do
[2:00:36] it, I find that from the available crop, I do think it's
[2:00:39] him. Yeah, he he's had the experience
[2:00:41] at Leverkusen. He's built them into a big club
[2:00:43] in Germany and he's he's played at Real Madrid before, so he
[2:00:46] knows the culture. The only thing is, does he know
[2:00:49] how to manage these world class players?
[2:00:51] He's he's brought up words, he's brought up a couple of very good
[2:00:54] players at Leverkusen, but I don't know.
[2:00:56] We'll see if he can manage a Vinnie and Bapi because that's
[2:00:58] always a big issue. It's a different crop of
[2:01:00] players. Different type, yeah.
[2:01:02] Chambi Alonzo has that aura. Yeah, you can.
[2:01:05] He looks like he's a very respected manager at least.
[2:01:07] But you have that, you have that aura until you start losing
[2:01:09] games, until you start not getting results because
[2:01:13] Angelotti, you could argue at the beginning of the season,
[2:01:15] this man brother, we, we even talked about manager.
[2:01:18] We ranked the managers. We put him at 10 aura and now he
[2:01:21] he's getting sacked after Barcelona.
[2:01:23] Games, but that's because Angelucci has dinosaur tactics
[2:01:25] like they're outdated tactics. Yeah, I get it.
[2:01:28] I I think Chavilanjo's going to do pretty well.
[2:01:30] I better do. I do think he needs time because
[2:01:33] I don't think the results are going to come fat like early.
[2:01:35] Yeah. They they'll it will take time.
[2:01:37] Yeah, we'll see. It does help when you have the
[2:01:39] best goalie in the world, best striker in the world, you'll
[2:01:43] have the best. You're adding the right back in
[2:01:44] the world. Yeah, I don't know.
[2:01:46] You have good pieces, but we'll see.
[2:01:47] What good pieces? But it's up to them to put them
[2:01:49] together. Yeah, exactly.
[2:01:51] And that's about it for episode 57, I'd say.
[2:01:53] Yeah, that was a pretty healthy episode, I think.
[2:01:55] Pretty healthy. How long was that episode?
[2:01:58] Two hours DOS orders just for you my friends.
[2:02:01] Oh that man. I love to cover.
[2:02:03] Yeah, the weekend was lit. Yeah.
[2:02:04] Yeah, there's a lot happening. And honestly, it hasn't even
[2:02:06] stopped. We have two more, two more
[2:02:08] pretty much match weeks left. True.
[2:02:10] That's the Seattle final. Stravaganza bonanza coming.
[2:02:13] Travaganza Bonanza is everywhere.
[2:02:15] And we're planning a a Champions League watch along potentially.
[2:02:17] Yeah, more details. We'll talk about those to come.
[2:02:19] Well. We're definitely going to be
[2:02:21] streaming this. Oh.
[2:02:21] Yeah, yeah. No, we're not taking a break on
[2:02:23] that day, don't worry. For show.
[2:02:24] For show, yeah. But anyways.
[2:02:26] Thank you everyone for watching. See you guys next.
[2:02:28] Time. Yeah.
[2:02:28] Ciao. Ciao.
