[0:00] Episode four. Okay. Season two. Oh. Episode four. We back, we back, we back. Love it. Oh, wow. It's giving. Holding a tune. I can only sing in the car in the shower. Don't get excited. Oh, I can't sing at all.
[0:18] Episode four. Hey, guys. Welcome back. Hi, guys. We're so happy to be here. Everybody's crazy. Everybody's crazy. Oh, my gosh. Had some intense situations. Yeah, that last sesh was good. It was good. It was good. Like, this is truly like getting in a rhythm of doing something, being comfortable, being uncomfortable doing something you have no idea how to do. I'm very uncomfortable, but here I am.
[0:49] Making it look easy. I mean, I'm not stressed. My nerves are gone. You know, the first season I was like, now I'm like, okay, I kind of feel a little bit more confident about articulating myself. That's good. I'm working on it. And I love our community.
[1:07] Our community is a shit. They need a name. Yes. What should we name our community? Let's do a poll. Yeah, let's do a poll. We're going to put together some names of our community. First of all, our community is very positive, very self-aware. We've had some scragglers that didn't belong in calling in here, but okay. Yeah.
[1:24] But I feel like overall is really nice to see. Everybody has been really cool. Yes. So we love you guys to have around. Thank you so much. Making it easy for us. Merch is coming. Round two merch is coming. Oh, yes. Yes. Round two. Should we give him a rundown of what it is or let him be surprised? No surprise. Okay. Yes. All right. Should we take a caller?
[2:02] Go ahead, Ms. James. Hello. Who are we speaking to? Where are you from? And what is your crazy? My name is Konya Hart. I'm from Florida. Hey, what's your crazy? What you got going on? Well, I talk out loud to myself. Oh, that's a little crazy, but I do that too.
[2:21] Remember, I don't know if you watched the show or have watched the past episodes, but when I said that I'd be having like full conversations about what I'm going to say in a conversation in my head, but sometimes you got to like say it in the mirror out loud. I think that's, I mean, it's a little crazy if somebody listening on the other end, but I think a lot more people do it than they would admit. Oh, okay. Yeah, I don't talk out loud to myself, but I sing to myself, but I don't talk out loud. Yeah, I talk out loud to myself sometimes. And I'm very, I'm very...
[2:52] I congratulate myself a lot. That's really good. Yeah. Like if I do something good at work, I'm like, I'm killing it. That's talking to yourself there. Listen, I will kill something to the edge. That's why this company is called Crown and Conquer. Because I'll be out here killing it. Every time I send seven emails in a row, murdered it.
[3:17] So I feel like, yeah, I do it in that way. Yeah. How do you be talking to yourself? Like at the house or like at the supermarket? At the house or even when I'm walking, I'll talk to myself. Yeah. I mean, it's just like I start thinking about things. And I just start talking about it out loud. Yeah. Yeah. Yes, I agree. I also say what the fuck a lot out loud.
[3:44] I'm like, what the fuck? The what? I always say what the fuck out loud. Like, what the fuck just happened? Like, are you fucking serious? Actually, I talk to myself out loud too. Now that I've identified it. Thank you. Thank you. We're all crazy. Don't feel bad. Yeah. No, it's not crazy at all.
[4:04] Okay. Alrighty, see you later. Bye. Bye. We got more callers. Let's take another caller. You can ring my bell. Ring my bell. What's your name? Where you from? What's your crazy? I hope you like that. That was just for you, by the way. Hi. My name is Yasmine. I'm from New Orleans. My crazy is that
[4:35] So I'm a healthcare professional. I work in a hospital bedside. They're talking to my patients. So when I get off of work, I will literally sit in my car and wait until I see no one coming to get out of my car so that I don't have to be on the elevator with anyone. And I don't know if that gives social anxiety
[5:02] Or if it gives, I need a career change because I'm that over-simulated when I get home. But it just gets a little bit crazy. Wait a minute. So you wait in the car to go inside or come home? Wait a minute. Just so I'm clear. No, like, I wait in the car. Like, after I get off work, I will wait in my car. Because, like, we have, like, a parking garage. And, like, our parking garage is directly attached to our, like, elevator entrance.
[5:31] And so, like, sometimes, you know, people get off around the same time every day. So, like, a whole bunch of people will be getting out of their cars, whatever. And I will wait until, like, no one is coming so that I do not have to go in the elevator with people because, like, I don't want to be engaged. Like, I don't want to be on the elevator with anyone. I'm quiet. I don't want to be packed, crammed. I don't want people touching me. Like, that situation. Yeah, I feel like, no. I feel like, ultimately...
[6:00] That is a way of decompressing. Like for me, my time like that is in the morning. Like I wake up super early, like 4.30 and I take a bath and I don't want anyone to talk to me. And lately, like in the morning, people are in my space and I get a little frazzled.
[6:18] So for me, I think that that's just like you coming off of like being around people all day, which can be really draining. And you work an intense job in health care. What sign are you? What sign are you? I'm a tourist. So am I. See, I knew it. So tourists need a lot of alone time.
[6:39] We need a lot of alone time to recalibrate ourselves. So a lot of that time I spend for myself in the morning, but it's very important for me. I am not the best version of myself if I don't have any alone time. And then a lot of times at night, I'll go eat by myself or do something by myself, like or sit in my car or do something by myself to like decompress. So I just feel like you need a second to just gather your thoughts, like,
[7:08] It you know, I feel like Taurus also for me is a lot of energy that I pour into my job and people around me that I feel like is taxing. Right. So I just think you have to give yourself a little bit of grace. Now, if you like your job or not, I don't know. That's neither. I don't know if that I don't have enough information from this call. But I do think having a second to recalibrate is just has a lot to do with who you are.
[7:33] who you potentially are. And also I take a lot of baths, which after like a lot of research, I didn't understand why it's just like the sense of like cleansing myself and like really sitting in Epsom salt and recalibrating myself. So that is very important. I think for my personality and sign, and it sounds like maybe for you as well. And I think you just have to give yourself a little bit of grace.
[7:58] People are exhausting, just in general. People are exhausting. Exhausting. And then you be dealing with sick people? Oh, my God. I wouldn't be able to do it. That's hard. That's hard. Yeah, my boyfriend is so chill. He doesn't get it. Like, I come home and I'll get upstairs and I'll have more time with myself. He's like,
[8:16] why do you just sit in the car? What is wrong with you? Why do you just sit alone? Like, you're like, what is wrong with you in the closet? I'm like, I need a moment. Yeah, I'm similar. So I get it. So give yourself a little grace. And just, I think being self-aware of what you need to be the best version of yourself is so important. Yeah.
[8:34] So that's the one thing I'll say. Like, you just need to figure out what works for you. And then you need to articulate that to the people around you. And hopefully they can understand and respect it. Yeah. Cause the one sitting next to me, this, this one over here, Savannah James need a lot of alone time too. I will disappear though. Yes. I'll just be like, done. Yeah. You can't find her on the phone. You'd be thinking her ass is dead.
[8:55] but it's important I need that time what I normally say when I can't find you I wish you had a house phone I wish you had a house phone or I wish you had a house phone don't call my house phone so I agree I think everybody needs a little bit of time to just gather your thoughts yeah I love the podcast oh thank you so happy you got through no problem thank you bye thank you bye okay bye bye
[9:22] Love someone long time. Me too. I've been struggling with that this week. Because you haven't had it? No. And I've been so sad. I love my bubble baths. I'm having to take bird baths because I'm rushing. Well, maybe you just need to figure out your routine when you're not at home. I hate a bird bath. Maybe it's not a bath when you're not at home. No, I need a bath. Okay. I'm just trying to help you. I need a bath.
[9:52] And I need to relax. Like, hmm. You look at my phone. I feel you. I need to listen to my Hoffman app. I need to breathe. I need to journal. I don't like, I do not like to be rushed. I hate it. It just makes me angry. I don't like to be rushed, but I find myself always rushing. Yeah. Yeah.
[10:18] You shouldn't be rushing. You have poor time management. That's what it is. I'm working on it. I just have too much obligation and not enough time. So like when people start rushing me, I get frazzled and then I get nasty and get snippy. Don't rush me. Oh yeah. I'm like, get out.
[10:37] Because I'm trying to organize my thoughts and people want me to organize what they need quicker. So they're like, well, I need this. I need it. Give me a minute. Yeah. Yeah. I'm trying to get it together. I'll be like, sorry, guys. I'm five minutes away. You know what I'm saying? Should we take another caller? I hate that about you.
[10:57] I know you do. I'm so happy you said that. I know you did. Hate it. But. Hate it. I hate when people are late. Listen, it's giving five minutes tops. Listen, I'm starting to get like that and it's giving me anxiety. Five minutes tops. That's a damn lie. What's my tops? Your tops is around 20.
[11:18] I'm in the garage. I just think that, I mean, I've been in LA for so long, but I always underestimate traffic. I never account for it. I mean, can you account for it at this point? I really do talk about intention. The intention is there. But, you know, it's going to be like that sometimes. Lackluster effort. Let's take a voicemail, shall we? We shall.
[11:42] What's up, y'all? I'm Austin. I'm from Indianapolis, Indiana. And I feel like my crazy is I really do believe that I'm emotionless. Like, I don't have emotions. And I really think it's from growing up and not having a relationship with my dad or my mom. But it's like no matter, like, a relationship, I can drop somebody no matter how long we've been together. I can stop talking to somebody and I will not, like, I really won't care about it.
[12:08] I either whether it's a relationship, friends, it don't matter if we could be friends for like, I just had a friend and we had been friends like three years. Something happened, whatever, and it wasn't really even something big, but it's like once that, once something happens and we don't rekindle something, I don't care to really revisit it or like, you know, it just don't cross my mind. I really feel like it's from growing up and not really having a relationship with my parents. And I just really don't know what to do about that. But I know it's wrong.
[12:38] because people would try to rekindle it, but it's like, okay, now, well, now I can't even trust you. So now I don't even care to talk to you if people don't really understand that. So, yeah, I struggle with that a lot. And it makes me feel like I'm crazy because everybody else has emotions and people express their emotions to me. But me, it's just like, it's whatever. I don't care. So, yeah, I feel like that's my crazy. I feel insane. Well, I think there's a lot there to unpack. For sure. Yeah.
[13:06] Also, does it do, do you think a lot of people understand their attachment style? No, cause I don't even know what you mean. So there's, there's a way of like loving and being attached. So we should do the test and bring it back on next week on figuring out your attachment style, because that is a lot of how people handle love, receive love, like,
[13:32] And it's very interesting because once you know somebody's attachment style, you understand how they cope, how they handle things. And a lot does have to do with how people are raised. Yeah, I could see that. I mean, he definitely made mention that, you know. His parent. Yeah, so. And just being able to live without. You know, recently when I was talking to my therapist and we were talking about love and like being in love and being in relationships and he said to me,
[14:02] The interesting part about you is that you've lost a sense of innocence that most people have because someone died on you that you loved. So like your coping mechanism is like you can live without something easier than someone who's never lost anything. So at times it can be a bit dismissive.
[14:25] because you've lost something already. So you already have seen the extreme version. And if other people haven't seen the extreme version, they're like, how can you live without me? And you're like, but I've already lived without something so important. This is just another version of that, which means you've lost a sense of innocence that isn't terrible to lose. That's not something you want to experience.
[14:48] So I just think it's very interesting when people can move along this lifetime not being attached to anything because that's also like a protection mechanism for not really being hurt. I could definitely understand that. I feel like I definitely do have emotions. It just takes me a lot to be able to identify it and be like, well, feel whatever that emotion is. It takes a lot.
[15:18] But you haven't always been like that. No, I haven't. No, I think just over things that have happened to you over your lifetime, you kind of harden with changes like changes how you cope with certain things. That's why a lot of people say they can't really keep falling in love and it not working because it's just too traumatic.
[15:42] And so they'd rather live without it than to live with it because you have to go through that to feel. You got to feel the love to feel the heartbreak. Correct. Oh, girl. Mm-hmm. Ain't nobody trying to feel no heartbreak. No, that stuff. Never could. Oh, I hate a heartbreak. Do you think love is the hardest emotion? Like just overall? Yes. I think love is the hardest emotion because love is the thing you can't control.
[16:12] that somebody else has to contribute and somebody else can be in control. Like somebody else can control your feelings. And then,
[16:26] when you're really, really in love, you kind of like, you learn. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like you're doing dumb shit. You're like, oh, maybe I can go to work late. Like, you know, like, what the fuck is going on? You know me, my job. So I just feel like, yeah, I feel like being in love,
[16:46] Yeah, I feel like that's the hardest emotion. I think it's a very beautiful thing. Like one of me and Savannah's close guy friends was like, I love being in love. I could just fall in love over and over again. I'd be like, what? It's fun. Falling in love is fun. Yes, that's what he said. Falling in love is fun. And I was like, ooh, that feels fucking scary. It's two falls. The fall is twofold. Yes. It's falling into love. Falling out of love. And then the pain of falling out of love.
[17:17] Oof. Girl. Yeah. And even, I mean, I have to say, you could fall in love with people, but you also could fall in love with a thing. You could be, I was in love with my job at one point. Mm-hmm. And everything could turn, like, everything would trump, like, my job trumped everything. Mm-hmm.
[17:37] Until I realized I was psychotic. It's like, I'm giving crazy. It's giving a little crazy. So like, yeah, I definitely feel like you could be in love. And I think a lot of people in this world are in love with things. In love with things. In love with things that don't.
[18:02] Matter. No. In love with things and also in love with things. The idea of things. That give you instant gratification, which includes sex. So I feel like that is the dark, dark thing that like people are like hopping around sleeping with different people because it feels good. But like.
[18:25] It's temporary high. Oh, it's like Ali's face. It's like popping pills. Do we have another call? Let's do it.
[18:38] Oh, you baby. Hello. What's your name? Where are you calling from? And what's your crazy? This is CJ. Hey. Hello? Hi. Where are you calling us from? And what's your crazy, CJ? What? First of all, hold on. I just want to say that y'all are like my best friends in my head right now. So one, I'm excited. We're happy to have some time to you. Two, I am CJ from the DMV. Okay. Okay. Yes. So I'm very happy to be on your podcast tonight.
[19:06] Okay. So my crazy is I am caught up in TikTok conspiracy theories. I watch TikTok all the time and anything about skinwalkers, aliens, stuff, anything about stuff that I really don't know about catches me up and then I'm into it. I think I'm sick. I don't know what's wrong with my brain. And I'm going to, do y'all watch TikTok too? Like,
[19:33] Do regular people watch TikTok? I do watch TikTok. No, I think a lot of people watch TikTok. I don't watch TikTok. To be honest with you, CJ, I've told April to not even do it because I know what it can do to you. So I do think it's a little crazy. TikTok is my night quail, but...
[19:53] I also get caught up in the things. I am very curious and just to know like a lot of unnecessary information about a lot of unnecessary things. So I kind of fall in those rabbit holes, too. I've definitely watched the Skinwalker videos, the alien videos, the mermaid videos, like all of that. Yeah, and I'm just like, do I believe them or not? The fairy videos. Yeah, I know.
[20:14] I know. Don't let it be a mermaid video. I love a mermaid. Don't let it be a mermaid video. I want to be a mermaid. What do you mean a mermaid video? What is on TikTok about mermaids? First of all, everything is on TikTok. You know, they just have random videos of like things that look like mermaids or like weird animals or people out in the sea.
[20:33] And they hear noises of sirens and stuff like that. You don't know if it's real or not, but I don't know if I should believe it or not. And I get stuck in my head with all this curiosity. Yeah, I'm very curious. So that type of stuff, I'd be like, let me not go too far. But it's definitely intriguing for the moment. And then I just be like, okay, this is just TikTok time. But I get it, girl. I get it.
[20:54] Oh, I don't even have the TikTok. Yeah, April, April don't, she don't even watch TV, child. She'll be trying to listen to us. But I will say, I want to tell you though, if you're interested in the mermaids, there is a documentary on Discovery called The Bodies, Mermaids, the, oh my gosh, I need to remember this. Hold on. Give me two seconds. The Bodies Found or The Body Found, something like that. And I would encourage you to watch that because-
[21:23] Yeah, I think it's Mermaids. I'm about to watch it. I'm about to watch it. It's done. It's done. It's done. I'm about to watch it. DM us and let us know what you think when you are after you watch it. I will. But thank y'all for taking my call. Of course. Thanks, CJ. Have a good night. You understand. I love y'all. Bye. Thank you. Bye.
[21:46] Oh, yeah, I'm a baby conspiracy theorist. If you guys didn't know that about me. Yeah, you do. Giving the facts. I don't even know what a conspiracy theorist is. I just leave it right there. It's a little baby one. I'm like, what? Yeah, just a little baby. Mahogany. That's what it's different. Mahogany. Should we take a call?
[22:11] Hello, what's your name? Where are you calling us from? And what is your crazy? I'm Anne. I'm calling in from the UK. My crazy is, oh my God, I can't believe I'm talking to you guys right now. You're talking to us. My crazy is, I've been seeing this guy for about three years. And he's a really good guy.
[22:35] However, he is not popping the question, not even for me to become his girlfriend. So I don't know. Should I go? Should I stay? A year is a long time. You said two years? Yeah. Three years? Mm-hmm. Three years. Pop the question for marriage or to be like, you know, official?
[22:58] girlfriend no you got to go in and and and no what the hell and no call that sucker right after this call he no what the hell three years and no yeah no uh yeah and i gotta no but he's a really good guy though no no no you gotta have some sort of standard mm-hmm
[23:21] That is unacceptable. And if you are a good girl and you sound nice and sweet on the phone like candy. No, no. Three years would take somebody three years to figure out they want you to be their girl.
[23:33] Yeah. No. And if it's meant to be, he will pull his shit together and he will come back and you will be his girl. Do not stay there out of fear of being by yourself just because he's a nice guy. There's other nice guys in the world. He need to get his shit together and step up to the plate or get off. Goodbye to him. He pissed me off.
[23:55] hell no and you deserve and you wasting time three years a lot of time yeah and you deserve that person he might be blocking your blessing exactly goodbye and good night brother pack up it's time to go and if he wants you he'll come back around yeah for sure yeah
[24:13] Yeah, thank you so much. You're welcome, man. See you later. Bye. Three years. Girl, I wish the motherfucker would. What's the time of living on marriage? Is there one? Marriage is a little bit different. But boyfriend and girlfriend, like somebody knows after...
[24:30] Six months, nine months. I even think nine months is precedent. Three to six months, you know, if you really want to be in a relationship with somebody. After that, they have commitment issues or they're not sure about you. So you need to move on. People be thinking they're going to change people's minds. You're not changing anybody's mind. Like, and if somebody wants you, they're going to want you.
[24:54] And if they really want you, they'll make effort to change to be with you because you're their person. Yeah. Don't be settling for nobody to want to treat you sometimey.
[25:04] what's what you think the limit on marriage i don't think there's a limit because i feel like you should always be ready you know i don't believe in rushing nobody into marriage marriage is a huge commitment and if you're not ready keep keep being a girlfriend and a boyfriend or a lady and a whatever my man my man like i don't think you should rush into marriage at all yeah i think that's a recipe for disaster i think marriage is hard
[25:30] Marriage is hard. AF. Marriage is hard. I never wanted to get married again. But I changed my mind. Hey.
[25:49] We need a playlist for all of the little tunes, the little snippets of tunes that we start singing. But Ali going to help us out. Ali going to be managing us soon. Listen, I feel like, yeah, I feel like maybe if it's funny when you think you're not going to do something and then you find somebody that could be your person. And then you're like, oh, maybe.
[26:10] maybe because i love you so much i'll try to figure it out and that's what i mean about boyfriend and girlfriend you don't when you really want to be with somebody you don't want them to be with anybody else right you like that down yeah that's mine that's mine my me my me my man it's mine okay so do we have any calls okay hi what's your name where are you from and what you're crazy
[26:34] It's Anna and Janae from Vancouver, British Columbia and Canada. Hey guys. Hey guys. And we're crazy. Oh my God. And we're crazy. Little family drama. Tell us. So basically our mom has a really close family member who we grew up with. And they've always had kind of a rocky kind of relationship. And a couple months ago, almost a year ago, we kind of had like a final last straw kind of.
[27:03] break up like we're not really going to talk again. They are distant relatives. They come into town every couple of months, but they don't really live close to us. So it's not like we see them all the time, but when they do, it's kind of awkward when they come in. So that relative doesn't know that we know about their little tip. And my mom has not, our mom hasn't told us to stop talking to them. Instead, she's really been encouraging us to keep and maintain that relationship. However, we kind of feel a little bit like achy if
[27:33] about it just because we know things about our relationship and it's kind of painted our perception about that person. Again, it's a relative. We've known them ever since we've grown up with them, but, and you know, we have cousins and other family members tied to them too. It's a little bit difficult. But then again, it's like, we want to be loyal to our mom, even though she's not explicitly telling us we need to stay loyal to her yet.
[27:56] we kind of feel the obligation because we see in the past how bad this relationship has kind of hurt her feelings. So we don't know what to do. You know, you got this one. That's the man I'm talking about. I mean, I feel like the, the little tiff between them, is it deep or is it like, nah,
[28:24] extremely deep like this is like a relationship that's been in turmoil for you know years years well first they get back together and then they have a little thing then they get back like it's always been turbulent right well first of all kudos to your mom
[28:41] Cause she sounds like a queen by still trying to make you guys stay out of it. Still cool with them. Like trying to make sure you keep a rapport with your family. Cause I think that that's really important. I think a lot of times people put their emotions and project their emotions on other people and their kids, their friends to make them side with them. So your mom is a queen, first of all. Second of all, I feel like you guys have a right to feel that way.
[29:12] feel like you have a right to pick and choose who you want to be in your circle. So if you don't feel comfortable about it and you don't feel like it's the right environment, I feel like that's, that's, you have the right to feel that way. You guys are grown. Don't you Savannah? I agree with it. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like you guys have a right to have boundaries with those individuals because it doesn't feel safe. Yeah. And it doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be like,
[29:40] cut off like you never speak to this person again but like april saying you have a boundary with them and you just keep it at that right because i feel like i feel like if i'm not sure about how somebody's gonna operate and what their intention is i actually don't want them around me especially when it come to my mom yeah no period period that's right girls period
[30:02] You two are too cute. We love you guys. We have been validated. Thank you guys so much. We appreciate it. Thank you. We love you guys. Love you. Bye. Family is always hard. Period. Family is hard, but people are shifty. And just because...
[30:24] Your family is your family. I feel like people always feel obligated. And that's, I don't think that people should feel that way. I didn't feel that with my cousins a bunch of times. Hey, y'all. Y'all know who y'all are. I love y'all. But, you know, it be like that sometimes. There's always love, but I just don't agree with what y'all got going on right now. Yeah. I mean, it definitely is interesting. That was once upon a time. Yeah.
[30:51] Let's take another caller. Hello. What's your name? Where are you calling us from? And what's your crazy? I'm Michelle Marshall. I'm calling from Atlanta, Georgia. And my crazy is that how can your children or family tell you how to spend your money or ask you for money? And they get mad at you and say, you're the bitch. Yeah.
[31:13] Damn. What'd they say? They call you a bitch because you're spending your money? I don't think they can say anything. Okay, first of all, what level of family member is that? Son. Your son? Son. Can you know about that? Uh-uh. First of all, does he have a job? Yes. But he got mad because he texted me and said, hey, mom, my wife's birthday is coming up. Can you go have with me? And I'm like, I don't sleep with her.
[31:43] And is he doing a name calling? Oh, yeah. Oh, bro, no. And text me for mother's day, but text my mother for money. And I'm like, wait a minute, dude. You're going to text me and send my mother for money? Really? But yeah, that's my crazy. My own flesh and blood.
[32:02] Yeah, no, we don't like that and it's disrespectful. We need to put some boundaries up. Yeah. And he has no right to do that. And I am not for nobody being disrespectful to their mama on any level. Then you're going to ask me for something. Right. What the fuck? Yeah. Get out of my face. Savannah. Right. What the fuck? Okay.
[32:22] We agree with you, Michelle. He's crazy. But my thing is that the gift is coming from me, not from you. But you get all the glory. And you, I mean, that's your wife. You don't get benefits. I'm going to get my benefits. Exactly. I'm not having fun that night. That's on you. Exactly. No, yeah. No, that's unacceptable. We agree. Right. No, not acceptable. We're siding with you, honey. Yeah. Yeah.
[32:49] I love you guys. I really do. We love you too. Thank you for calling us. Thanks for calling. Have a good night. Thank you. Bye-bye. I wish. Love my kids. Love. Every fiber. I will take you out. Oh, yeah. You're going to die. I'm going to take you out. If you call me a bitch. It's done. It's done. It's done. No. No.
[33:17] No. I'm a blackout. I think I'm a blackout. But see, my kids are still scared of me, so they know.
[33:25] It's giving Tasmanian devil. It's giving Kogu Panda. It's giving Kogu Panda. No, yeah. And I just think... I think my kids know too. Yeah, I think your kids are just like... They like... You so easygoing. They never... Which is why when the shift happens, it's like, what the... What are you doing? It's happened a couple times on them, but they good kids. Yeah. Not too often, but they know. No problems. Should we take a voicemail?
[33:51] Hi, April and Savannah. This is Joy from Los Angeles. So I am crazy. I am so crazy, crazy, crazy in love with routine, with everything being exactly predictable and like I like it.
[34:10] I love it. It's like, it's so amazing, but I know it's giving controlling. It's giving boring. I got to figure this out because I'm in 27 years with my husband and he is giving, let's try everything new and do new stuff and go new places. And I'm like, yeah, no, I'm good.
[34:30] So that's my crazy. I am loving, I love boring, I love predictable, I love let me sit back and watch everybody else and their chaos and their stuff. Or I love to just be the one that holds the purses and hey, when y'all get done with your adventure, come and tell me about it. I'll be right here. I'm safe. I'm watching the door. I'm watching the purses. Go have some fun. Come tell me what y'all did.
[34:54] But that's my crazy. And I got to get out of this. About to turn 50. I don't want to turn to an old, old, old lady too fast. But, you know, this is how it goes sometimes. All right. Loving you both. And keep up the amazing, amazing work. I'm like, why don't you live? What do you have to lose? And if I'm a man and you're boring, I'm out of here. Damn. What if he loved her boring self?
[35:24] he trying to do stuff and she's like, no, all the time. No, it's not going to work. Yeah. I like routine, but like I said, I'm very curious. So I like to do new things within my routine. I love routine too, but I feel like you have to have a little bit of fun factor. A little bit of spontaneity. Like last night I went to bed. Then I woke up at 1245 and I went to the club for 40 minutes.
[35:53] Who are you? And I came back home. That's fun. Yeah. I love that for you. I was getting up to go to the bathroom. And then I was like, hmm.
[36:06] Why not? Why not? Yeah. And then I just went to the club. Took off my bathrobe. Put on some Daisy Dukes and a boot and a hoodie. And went to the club for 40 minutes. I love that for you. Took my credit card. My keys to the house. They said I got to go. That's fine. Living on the edge. Today my eyes been burning all goddamn day. You know, it's the risk, the reward. And I paid the price. But I feel like...
[36:33] If you don't do a little bit of that, it just, you, you will, I feel like you will get old quickly. I, I have to agree with that. I have to agree with that. You can't just not do anything new ever. You start to. If you're so in routine, it's like, it's no fun. It's no spontaneity. It's no excitement. It's no.
[36:52] Oh, that was fun. And I feel like when you try something new, like I was saying on the last episode, I made a bucket list of things I wanted to do in L.A. And like just trying something. Yeah, I think that's very important. Spontanity every now and then is fun and will get you out of a monotony. I feel like every now and then I think you should do it every week. One day a week you should do something fun and out of the box.
[37:21] Okay. That's a good little tidbit. Yeah. Try it out. Give us four weeks. Living on the edge. Hashtag living on the edge. Episode is called living on the edge. It's giving. It's giving. Living on the edge. Okay, guys. Well, this is episode four.
[37:43] season two. Y'all know I'm dyslexic. That's why I be fucking up the numbers every single time. I can't. We are out of here and we'll see y'all next time. We'll see you next time. Love you. Bye.
