[0:30] Hey guys, welcome back. Episode six. Hmm. Wasn't that a Jersey number for you on the year? It was. What city was that? Miami and Los Angeles. Oh, okay. Yeah. Well, only right. Episode six. I'm excited to be here. This will be the last episode of our first series of Everybody's Crazy. We did it. Wow. Wow.
[0:58] I'm so excited. I could just, I can't believe we did it. We did it. Very proud of us. It started as an idea. We are wrapping up episode six. Episode six. So we're so excited to jump in today. Hopefully we get some good action on the calls and the hotlines and the voicemails. And I think the last episode was a lot of humor and funny things. So let's jump in. Should we take a call? Let's take a call. All right, great.
[1:39] Hi, what's your name? Where are you calling us from? And what's your crazy? Hey, I'm Jane from Melbourne, Australia. And I was just calling to ask how you guys would have done things differently if you had known your options in life. Hmm. I would have done nothing differently. I feel like, I don't know. I don't.
[2:00] actually think about doing things differently because every time something happens to me that I actually don't like I'm like okay universe what's the lesson so I don't know that I would have done anything differently because I feel like I'm on the right journey
[2:17] It's a bomb ass answer. Yeah. I mean, I just feel like for me, I don't live with any regret. I feel like, you know, it's certain emotions that I really can't relate to, which is very odd to say, but like regret.
[2:32] worry. Those two emotions specifically are so hard for me to wrap my head around because I'm like, fuck it. It didn't work out. Let's move on. What's the plan? So I'm more of like a chug through. What's the lesson? What am I supposed to learn and figure it out? But I also feel like I've had a lot of
[2:53] things that have been really hard for me personally in my life that were actually out of my control. And I had to just deal with it. So like, I feel like even if you were to do things differently, you would have a version of that. Yeah, that would happen. How about you?
[3:08] I think the only thing I would have done differently is started to take care of myself sooner. That's the only thing I would have done differently. Everything else, having babies young, all of that, it happened. Like April said, that's a part of my journey. But I do think that pouring into myself and making space for myself sooner, I would have liked to start that. Yeah.
[3:28] earlier well since i'm gonna live to 125 i think i'm gonna have time to be able to figure since i'm not dying because i'm part of wakanda yeah i agree i mean that would be ideal but i think that's what i would have done differently okay i love that well thanks jane for calling in i appreciate it
[3:53] Thank you guys. Thank you. Alrighty. Bye. Bye. I don't have a lot of regrets. Regrets. I don't, I don't either. I don't either. I feel like people that lie and also don't have a lot of integrity, maybe live with a little bit more regret than somebody that operates with a pure heart. Yeah. I'm trying to think, I don't think I have a lot of regrets. No.
[4:22] Nope. Okay. Next caller. Hi. Hi. Hey, honey. I'm loving it. It's chipper and pumped. It is chipper and pumped. I'm very chipper. I'm very chipper. I love this. And very much crazy. I'm from Ohio. Oh, yes. We love it. Okay. What's your name and what's your crazy? I'm Amber. Am I crazy? What kind of crazy y'all want? Y'all want new crazy or old crazy?
[4:48] Whatever crazy you want to give us. Whatever crazy you want to give us. Okay, listen. So, okay, because these men be having us messed up sometimes, ladies, right? Okay, so look, one time I had an airbag, and I popped that mother ass, but I did it. Because you're not about to sleep. Because you're not about to lay with nobody that ate me, okay? And you have me messed up, but I ain't going to lie. Y'all going to laugh at this because we made up. I tried to catch the bed back up. Ain't that crazy?
[5:16] Girl, don't pop it in. Patch it. We done. We done, though. We done. I'm way past that, baby. I'm in my palace and he wherever he at. I know that's right. I know that's right. Yes. I love it. I love that. I'm forgiven. I love that. That's right. I love it. I love y'all. Oh, we love you, too. And thank you. And we love that crazy.
[5:40] Thank you. Have a good night, Amber. Have a good night, y'all. Bye. All righty, bye. She said she popped it and patched it. She said, I'm going to pop it because fuck you. Then I'm going to patch it because I love you. Well, why y'all on the air mattress? You know, none of our babies. Should we take another caller? Oh, my goodness.
[6:08] Hello. Hi, how are you guys? Good. What's your name? Where are you from? And what's your crazy?
[6:14] from Brooklyn, New York. My crazy, which my friends say, is that I tend to take nice long walks and probably talk to myself just to figure things out. You know, I'm in my 40s now, and things are changing, trying to find different life courses, start a new career. Even though I'm a little older now, I'm trying to plan my family. So I just take that time within every single day
[6:44] It's like minutes to 12 o'clock in Brooklyn right now, but I'm like just walking and trying to focus on my health and my mental health as well. First of all, we love this, Toya. This is not crazy. And I feel like everybody has their own little like routine.
[7:02] You walk. I love a walk. Savannah walks. I do bubble baths at 4.30 in the morning. So everyone also thinks that's crazy. That is crazy. Because I ain't trying to do nothing but be sleeping. And calls me Rev Run because I text all my friends at 4.30 in the morning. And they send you an inspirational quote. Yeah.
[7:20] So I feel like it's not. And I feel like I love you prioritizing. First of all, do not call yourself old. Don't ever say that again. 40 is the new 20. 40 is the new 20. We're killing it out here. We're out killing it out here because these young folks need a little assistance. And I feel like...
[7:41] Get it. That's not crazy at all. And I feel like making a little space for yourself is something we need to be telling our young women to do because we, I feel like this generation or our generation, we kind of forgot to do that. So I love it. Take a walk, take a breath. Me and Savannah were just talking about how breathing calms your nervous system.
[8:03] I mean, it's a lot of little techniques that I wish I would have known earlier that I'm hoping that I'm going to give to my kids, my goddaughter and my godkids, making sure they understand the priority of taking care of yourself sometimes. So taking a walk and clearing your head is amazing. Yes, I love it.
[8:21] And you can listen to Jill Scott's Let's take a long walk Around the park After dark I actually have to pull that I have to pull that song up now So everybody won't think I'm crazy Living in Brooklyn Living in Brooklyn It's 12 o'clock at night They're like, what you doing outside at 12 o'clock at night Taking a walk in Brooklyn Will you play some Jill Scott And live your best life Yeah
[8:50] We appreciate you. Thank you for calling, Toya. Thank you. Enjoy your walk. Enjoy your walk. Bye. Bye. I wish I had time to walk. I love my morning walk. The other day, a friend came here. A friend came here. Air quotes. I don't like it. Go ahead. Came here and we went outside and we went on a walk to dog parks.
[9:16] It was really cute. I love it. I never take a walk in the middle of the day. So it was nice. Changing things around here. Changing things. New sheriff in town. But he said, sit your motherfucking ass down. I love that. Okay, should we take a voicemail? Let's go for it. Okay.
[9:37] Hey, what's up, guys? My name is Whitney. I'm from Orlando, Florida. And my crazy is, for some strange reason, I cannot seem to like people more than 30 days. After 30 days, I just don't like them no more. I'm trying to work on that, ladies. And it's not that I just don't like people. It's like people are just showing...
[9:55] their truest side so early. Like, I almost missed the days where there were representatives and people tried to at least impress you. People don't even be trying to impress you no more. It's just be like, okay, I'm ignorant. I'm crazy. And I'm like, oh, what? So like I said, I'm trying to work on connections and that's my crazy. Bye.
[10:18] I have to say the courting game out here, people, I don't think men think they have to work to win somebody over. And I just think it's so many people with so many women with a low standard. And then when you have a standard, it's like, oh, well, you don't like it. I'm actually going to move on to somebody else who's easier. It's an unfortunate thing.
[10:43] situation. Do you think it's been made too easy and that's why the level of work and courting is... I think dating has become a transaction. What do you want to give me? What am I going to get? Like, I'm not really going to show you myself. I'm not really going to be vulnerable because you could hurt me. Let me have multiple people. Let me sleep with multiple people. Multiple people can fill the space of one person. Which I think is wild.
[11:14] And unfortunate, to be honest. It is. I mean, I haven't dated in 100 years, so I don't know. I don't know what's going on out these streets. But obviously, talking to you and my other single friends, like, I know that this is tough and I hate it, like, for y'all. But I just think that it's a different time, unfortunately. I'm hoping the tables are going to turn and people are going to want more quality over quantity.
[11:42] I don't know about that because I feel like even just thinking generationally, like I have to force like not force, but like having conversations with younger kids. I feel like they have more conversations on the phones and through text and through that type of vibe rather than a one on one face to face conversation. Like they would rather do it over streaming or over Snapchat or whatever. So that's another hurdle that has to get over is just communication.
[12:10] But I do feel like we could say a lot, but we have between the two of us, we have four boys and three of those four have been in committed relationships.
[12:24] This is true. Which is impressive. It is. And I see with Bryce, he take time. Why you got to be calling people's names out? I said three. I think it's sweet. I'm going to talk about myself. I'm not going to speak on the pots. I was saying three and four. One of the three. There you go. But yeah, it's really, I see. So I feel like. It's intention. It's intentional. Yes. So there's something that hopefully our kids value in.
[12:55] being committed or at least valuing a partner or somebody, somebody that brings something to the table instead of the excess of quantity and fast exchange and all the inappropriate things that go with that.

[13:41] Nerve-wracking. All right. All right. Let's take one more voicemail. Okay. Hi, Savannah. Hi, April. I am so excited to hear you guys' podcast. My name is Brianna and I am from St. Louis.
[13:52] My crazy is I am just trying to figure out why the men are so sassy. Obviously, Savannah, you're married, so, you know, you don't have to deal with the dating world. But, April, if you are married or you're single, please give us some advice on how we can deal with these sassy men. Love you guys. Love you, Savannah. Bye.
[14:13] I hear that so much about sassy man. What is a sassy man? First of all, what is a sassy man? Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I can interpret what I think it is, but I don't know the correct definition. Right. I don't know either. Okay. So we just got word that sassy is crazy. That's what the hell it is. That's what the hell it is. Right. First of all, I wish a motherfucker would. That's how about that. Yeah. Yeah.
[14:40] Unfortunately, what was her name? Brittany. Whitney. Whitney, I wish your motherfucker would. Yeah. Send me a Venmo request to split a date and ask me on a date and ask you on a date and run after you. So you should go be with them hoes. It'd be easier.
[15:00] Well, obviously that's what you want. No one's dealing with no sassy man. Come on, guys. Stand the fuck up. What's happening out here? I don't know what's happening because I've barely been on five dates in the last 50 years. But I'm trying. I'm trying, guys. Well, I was trying.
[15:17] That's so interesting. That's disappointing, I feel like. I feel like there is, I guess, because I imagine because women have said that they're feminists or they want to be equal or whatever the case is, that men have also taken a different type of stance. I think that has a lot to do with your upbringing. So I want to ask the people a question, and I know we're not going to get answers today. But I wonder, does a sassy man actually have a dad? Yeah.
[15:48] Because I feel like if you're raised in an environment with a man or two persons, no one would think. And listen, my boys, I'm a widow. So my boys have been raised majority of their life without a father. Y'all going to open these doors.
[16:05] Y'all going to treat a woman a certain type of way. There's certain things that I instill in my boys that's necessary on how not only do I want to be treated, but I want you to treat your wife. I want you to show your daughter. I want you to treat your grandmother. Like, so not saying you always have to have a father figure around. But I do think for a guy to be petty or like sending a half request for Venmo, I think is petty.
[16:32] Don't ask me on no date if you're asking me for 50-50. I'm just going to eat at home. You know, I love to eat at home anyway. My thing is, if you ain't got the money, let's go on a long walk in the park. Let's take. I'll bring two apples and a bottle of champagne. Sound like a date to me. Get it clever. That's so interesting. Disappointing. Let's take another voicemail.
[16:56] Hey, hey, hey, this is Jasmine calling from small town in Virginia, USA. My crazy is just now divorcing this husband of mine who for the third time has contracted
[17:12] and STD. Yes. Luckily, it has been a separation for a long period of time. However, I've had access to his email, which has had receipts from GoDocs three separate occasions. But this, honey, is the year of finalizing that divorce. Good for you. That's giving my worth, and I'm not about to sit here and keep doing this with you. Yeah. Goodbye.
[17:40] We're proud of you, Jasmine, from small town Virginia. Why do people got to treat people crazy? I don't know. My thing is, if you're unhappy, just leave. Let's talk about parting ways. Let's figure it out. Or let's talk about working it out. But why do you have to add other parties into the equation? And put my life at risk. STDs. What year are we in? 1990? 1990?
[18:06] They still exist. No, but yeah, no, it's very inconsiderate. Yeah. You are doing what you do. Okay, that's cool. But don't be bringing that to home to me. But did she say she was divorcing him three times? No, she found out he had STDs on three occasions and she's divorcing him now after the third time and finding out. The people out here dealing with the crazies. Yeah. Yeah.
[18:36] Okay, let's take another voicemail. Hey, I want to give my real name, but let's just say it's a...
[18:44] And I'm from Ann Arbor, Michigan. And my crazy is a guy that I was dating. I didn't know at the time that the car that he was driving was not his car. So we had this big dispute about him cheating. And I ran out of my apartment and I went and I jumped on his car and I was like, you're a cheater, you're a cheater. And I was jumping on his car.
[19:13] and I jumped on the roof of the car and it had like a cloth, like screen, like roof for you to, you know, open the roof or I can't remember the name of those things, but I
[19:28] I jumped through it, I fell through it to the car and I still was like upset. So I jumped back out and I like jumped in and caved in the roof of the car. And he was, he comes on and I was like, this is my mom's car. It's my mom's car. You ruined my mom's car. And I liked his mom. So I went and, um, had to help her get her car fixed. I lost so much money to get the roof of her car.
[19:57] repaired. So that is probably the craziest I've been. That's interesting. You know, like when people get really angry, why do people feel the need to damage things? Have you ever had that? Never. Never. One time I stabbed my husband with a fork in his hand.
[20:21] Okay. Maybe make sure not to make you mad in a restaurant. That's exactly what happened. We were in a restaurant eating dinner and his hand was like this. Do your hand. Why you gotta demonstrate on me? His hand was like this. He said something and he said, bitch. And I picked up that fork so quick and said, don't ever call me that again. I got up and walked away from the table. I was like,
[20:53] It didn't really stick. I feel sad that man went forward. I was fuming. Yeah. Don't call me out my name. Yeah. And I'm like a ride or die. So like. Don't piss me off. Yeah. Yeah, no. I've never. I've never done anything. I've been in this relationship for a long time. So if I'm fucking your shit up, I'm fucking my shit up. So I'm not doing that.
[21:18] So we're going to keep it real cute. Yeah. You know, like people want to slash tires or do like a number of things like that. I don't understand it. Yeah. I think it's just like, that's the quickest way I could get back at you. So people like retaliate like that. And then think about it when you messed up the mama's car. I don't got nothing to do with him. But the chances are you may get arrested. Yeah.
[21:42] You start messing up people's damaging their goods. Like nobody's trying to go to jail. Yeah, that's that toxic love. No. People stay away from the toxic love, please. Yeah. That's not real. That's not healthy. It's not healthy at all, but it definitely exists. You know people in toxic love? Mm-hmm. Oh, you do? Oh. Mm-hmm. I don't like that. Let's take a caller. What's your name? Where are you calling us from? And what's your crazy name?
[22:11] Oh, so my name is Keenan Jean. I'm calling from Miami, Florida. So my crazy is not technically crazy. It was just two questions that I had in mind. Is that okay? Yeah. What are the questions about? Okay, so my first question is, what are some things someone can do that would leave a good impression? And then my second question is that I'm an upcoming sport agent.
[22:41] And is there any way you can plug me in and get me right? Because I'm trying to buy my mama a house. Oh, that's sweet. On a woman? Or for work? Or for what category? Let's do both. Well, first of all, women...
[22:59] Ranked number one in innovation 10 consecutive years, Arizona State University isn't just ahead of the curve. It's creating new paths to success. Learn from notable clinical and research faculty. Online, that's a degree better. Explore programs at asuonline.asu.edu. I say thoughtful. Little things. I say little things. And if she don't like the little things, she not for you. Okay. Because if she looking for big things, I feel like.
[23:26] That's not where you start. You build up to those kind of things. But I feel like being thoughtful and consistent with a woman is really important. It goes a long way. And even like nice little things like taking lunch to her job or leaving a little post-it note in the bathroom after you stay over her house. Like little cute shit that don't cost no money.
[23:51] She's going to be like, he is so clever. So I feel like little things like that are nice. And, or like, if you know her favorite candy or her favorite thing, like just showing that level of consideration, I think is super sweet. And then from a business standpoint, you know, it's interesting. A few years ago, I was, I wasn't working, this April speaking, but I wasn't working here at Crown and Conquer. I was at another company.
[24:19] And a guy really wanted to get a job at the company we were at. And our mate and our biggest client was Nike. So he came to the office with a box, a Nike box, and he dropped it off for the owner of the agency. And inside of it was his resume. And I was like, that's clever. Like it was a good way of getting his attention.
[24:43] attention so i feel like outside of the box basically is what you're saying you're trying to make that impression yeah and i just think people are you know you know it's interesting with instagram and stuff now even being affiliated like being friends with you and obviously lj people always in my dms like oh can you introduce me like what am what am i doing sir like i feel like one they're
[25:07] Obviously, like LeBron is talent and, you know, that's a that's a different situation. But when it comes to like a job or a role, there's a lot of clever ways to go about getting into an infrastructure like.
[25:19] You can hit HR, you can hit the head of the agency, you can LinkedIn on a lot of people that work there. You know, it's funny, my team always laughs at me because I answer every single email that comes in our thank you inbox. And sometimes it's like, hey, April, I really admire you. Can you just meet with me for a quick coffee? Yeah.
[25:37] Allie, who manages my whole life, is like, oh, my God, if you answer one more of these emails, then meet with a quick coffee. So I feel like putting together a list of a way to get noticed that's clever and specific to you is where you could really do some cool things. Makes an impression. And then how about you answer the girl question? What's your take, Savannah? Okay, so I have a caveat to my question. Do you know this person already or is this someone who you're trying to get the attention of?
[26:08] I, let's say half and half. Like, I've spoken with the person, but it's nowhere near to where, like, I can leave any person yet, or that's what I think. So, I'm going to say, it might be a little controversial what I'm about to say. Okay. But it's, for me, it's giving balls up. Tell me what you, like, tell me what's up. Tell me what's up. How you feeling? I like that. What?
[26:36] What you want to talk to me? What's up? Like, what are we doing? You have to lead with intention. Yes. You got to come to me and just tell me exactly what you feeling. And I think that that is like, okay, what are we doing? You know, like, tell me what we doing. Well, that recently happened to me, by the way. That recently just happened. And what was your reaction to that? And my reaction was like, okay. See what I'm saying? I love you.
[27:03] I feel like Originally it was like the person was like Oh I'm just trying to get to know you and have fun And then the person was like No actually I'm trying to make you my woman And I was like what? Like but It caught me off guard at first but I was like Alright let's get this a try
[27:24] So I feel like if you are honest and direct, listen, there's a chance in 70, 30, there's a 30% chance your feelings are going to get hurt. I don't know the girl and I don't know the scenario, but at least you know what you're dealing with. And at least the one thing I will say is she will respect you. For sure.
[27:44] No matter the outcome. Yeah, I know that's true. She will respect you. And then as far as the agent thing, I mean, listen, are you in college? Do you go to school? Do you have a job already? Or what's your deal? Yeah, so I also have a podcast. It's called Call of Keenan. Okay. So just to give a shout out to you guys, I've been tuning in. And I posted, I commented under the video, you guys are like straight vibes. I'm just starting to come in.
[28:14] And then just also giving the fans an opportunity to come and actually have a conversation with you guys is really lit. So I actually look up to you guys. That's number one. Number two, yeah, I'm currently in college. I took the University of Miami. I'm trying to get a master's in sports administration. All right, good. So what you need to do is get an internship. Yeah.
[28:37] At a sports agency. Obviously, we know a few people, but, you know, there's many sports agencies. There's quite a few based in Miami. I know a couple of football sports agents there. You need to start getting an internship. So if that requires you and if you apply early enough in the year, places like UTA, WME, Wasserman, they sponsor a lot of interns and let them come and live in L.A. So, yeah.
[29:03] You need to build up your resume to get the opportunity to actually be working in that realm in the biggest way. So my biggest thing is to try to get an internship actually in the field that you love and work towards that and make sure you're networking in that field for sure. Okay. Sounds good. I appreciate it.
[29:34] Where? University of Miami. Oh, yeah. So DM everybody's crazy and we'll get back to you for sure. Okay, perfect. I appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you. Have a good night. Bye. Should we go to the voicemails? Let's go.
[29:51] Hello, this is Latrice and I am calling from Arlington, Texas. I mean, I don't know if this is a question. This is just, I'm irritated. I was born in 84, so I grew up in Webby days. She got her own job, two jobs, working hard, and then the Neo with Miss Independent. I just feel like we were bamboozled. You know, we were yelling, promoting, working two jobs and working hard.
[30:20] And then on top of that, our mamas was listening to Ralph talking about, don't need a man now to give you money. Like, what the fuck was Ralph talking about? And our mamas just singing that, promoting that. And now, in this new age, these city girls...
[30:39] You know, they won't even give you your phone number if you don't send them your money. I mean, I'm not with everything they promote, but I'm glad they're switching the narrative. It's okay to be pampered. It's okay to have men take care of you. I'm on for the new age little city girls.
[30:56] because we were bamboo-willed, our mothers were. And so I'm just glad that women are, you know, trying to get what they can and need out of relationships or dating. But, yeah, I just wanted to vent. I was just sitting here thinking about that. That's it. Good luck on the podcast, ladies. God bless. We talk about this a lot. Yeah.
[31:18] I know it's a lot of our friends that we have in common and other friends that I feel they like. I don't want to do this anymore. I want to be a kept woman. I want to sit down, love my man, have him love me and be taken care of because I am tired. Yeah, I'm torn because I'm very independent, which I love my independence. And I love the value that I bring to the table.
[31:47] I don't know that I truly want to be kept as much as I want to be respected and honored.
[31:55] and when you're respected and honored, you also have a say. Like, to me, Kept feels like you don't have a say. It's like, I take care of everything. This is what we're doing. This is what I need you to do. Right, and it reminds me of the first episode that we had of this show and Justin LaVoy calling in and saying, I'm taking care of this woman and she's cheating on me and whatever. I just feel like this younger generation of the city girls is,
[32:24] in quotes, because we're not saying city girls, the group of city girls or whatever you want to call them. And like, if you don't send me money, you can't get my number. Like, I don't agree with that either. No, I agree. So I just feel like the challenges people are out here looking to be taken care of because you know how to fuck. Like, damn. I'm just being honest. What is that?
[32:54] Know how to fuck? No, no, no. It's being taken care of because I know how to fuck is given. A form of prostitution. Yeah.
[33:04] which is happening at a very high level out here. And then women are wondering why men are not respecting women as a whole because of one category of women and how they move. And then all of a sudden those women that want to be taken care of and because they offer something, then evolve together.
[33:29] and go through self-change and all these other things. And now want to be respected and want to be treated. Right, after they've had multiple kids and baby dads and that's their revenue stream. I just think it's quite convoluted out here. And I think it's really a real challenge, I think. I agree, we shouldn't have been brought up to work as hard as we did. And there was a way to have that balance. But I also feel like...
[33:56] There's a level, there's a lack thereof of respect for women nowadays to me. That's an unfortunate situation. Like when you have a standard.
[34:08] guys are like, ah, this is too much work. Yeah, yeah. Ah, you asking for too much. Oh, you want to go on a date? I mean. You're going to take me on a date? Yeah. Or, why don't you just come over here and fuck on me? Like, what is going on? Like, so, I think it's hard. I hope people, I wish people were looking for a little bit more of a connection. And not just a sexual connection. So, I agree. It's that...
[34:38] It's a gray area in between. I agree with that. Hard for young men too. And I think hard for young women. Because I mean, I would never, like you also don't want to raise your daughter so independent that a guy is like, which I've experienced. I've become so successful. They like, why would I even deal with you? You got everything. Yeah.
[35:05] So that means you need to deal with a man with a high level of self-awareness and security. Because he's not worried about the things you have. He's thinking about the value he can bring to your life. Right. Because of how he loves you or how he treats you. Which should be what people care about. Right. Not the things. No. Everybody cares about the things.
[35:31] Do you love the things? I don't. My love language is not gifts. I love a gift. I don't have to have a gift. Let me tell you something. I want to spend time. I want to talk. I love a talk. I love a time. I love a walk. I love a snuggle. I don't want no gifts. I do want a gift. Don't get me wrong. It's nice every now and then. But that's not...
[35:56] Y'all see her wrist, right? Yes. That's not my love language. That's not my love language. Next time you get Gips in the miles. No problem. You got it. Okay, should we take another voicemail?
[36:13] Hi, my name is Alicia. I'm from Buffalo, New York. And my crazy is that I take a cup with me to the bathroom every time I pee in public. Like I just refuse to squat down over the toilet. I think it makes me really crazy. That's crazy. First of all, where is this cup being kept? You got a Ziploc bag for this cup? Because ew. I guess you would throw it out.
[36:40] So you just see. So is it like a like a mouthwash cup? No. Like you keep it like a disposable cup? No. She would just get a cup probably disposable cup at the bar and then go to the bathroom. OK. So what if you're at the mall? You got to bring the cup with you because you go to the food court. OK. All right.
[36:59] Yeah, that's crazy. That's crazy. I mean, I don't enjoy a public bathroom either. I agree. Especially not at the airport. Oof. Did you just get away from what you just did? Yeah. That is so funny. But I will say the public bathroom in Milan is really nice. It's getting luxurious. Yes. I think this public bathroom in Japan is undefeated.
[37:27] I would agree with you. They got a button that make you like, you can make noise so that the person next to you or the person in the bathroom can't hear you peeing. Like it's like a shh. So when you pee and you can't hear that, you hear the noise from the bathroom. Every bathroom has a total toilet. It's amazing. They just don't have paper towels. You got to make sure you buy a little hem dryer to dry your hands.
[37:51] Yeah, I feel like. Ooh, don't be bored. It's been a long day. Don't be tired. This quiet storm, my eyes are burning. This is my voice. This is night-night time for me. 9.30 is 9.25. I know. I know. I told you my eyes start burning. It's giving old ladies. It's giving young and fun until we get to 9.30. It's giving sleepy night-night. No, I definitely, yeah.
[38:21] Public bathrooms, no, thank you. Let's go to another voicemail. Okay. Everybody crazy, what's going on? It's your boy, Kolarasi. I'm recovering from a tumor and coma. You know, everybody counting me out. What's crazy is that I'm acting like it never happened. Motivated, keep striving for the best, and it's good to my goals. I hope everybody's doing a blessed day. Keep your head up and keep striving. That's my crazy. I love that.
[38:51] Let's go, Carla Rossi. Yes. We are support rooting for you. Yes. That's impressive. Yes, that is. That touched me. Yeah, that's amazing. You look like you're about to tear up. I was. I had to pull it together. Oh, we love that. Yeah. That's really cool. Listen, I think that when things happen, you can either see the glass half full or half empty. So I think in that example, it's like you wake up,
[39:19] obviously something happened that was super traumatic, like, and just trying to see the glass half full. And I realized now that not a lot of people, um, actually see the glass half full. Yeah. I think that's something you have to have mentally. Like you want to see the glass half full. I don't think that you could just kind of just depending on what the situation was or like, yes, it's not easy to always see it half full, but.
[39:48] I mean, and I think that that's important for us to say to people like life happens. That's why we created the show. Everybody's crazy. And things happen that are also good and bad and crazy. And but there also is tomorrow. And I know people say that and you just in the moment, you don't feel like there's a tomorrow.
[40:10] But I feel like seeing, thinking about the glass half full allows you the opportunity to like. Look forward to something. Yes. Yeah. That's important. Life's not easy. We know. Life be life and. Go ahead. Life be life and I'll be in fucking Mike Tyson's ring.
[40:31] I'm going to bitch be bouncing back. Yeah. Like, I feel like you have to, you have to be able to laugh about it. If not, you'll cry. Yeah. I had a moment. I talked to you about it where I did not know. Like, I felt so heavy and like.
[40:49] icky and I did not know why. And then I figured it, I mean, I sat in it for a bit. I didn't like, I was a little bit upset with myself. Like, why do I feel like this? Like, this is stupid. Like, why? But I sat with it. I figured it out. It came to me why I was feeling that way. And I'm like, okay, I acknowledged it. And I did what I needed to do to move forward with it. It was hard.
[41:10] Because I didn't know what was wrong. Yeah. But it was good. It was like- I feel like one of the things I learned in therapy was like being able to move through an emotion that you don't like the feeling of. So like, obviously I've experienced grief. So like-
[41:26] the feeling of being sad is a really hard for me. Like I'm like, who the fuck has time to be sad? But if you don't move through it and give yourself space to be sad, like you actually will not be able to get over it. So like you said to what you taught me is if you don't feel sad, you can't feel happy.
[41:46] Or fully happy. You can feel kind of happy, but you can't feel fully happy. So I was proud of you last week. You killed it. Thanks, Rhea. Yeah. It was getting dark. Listen, everybody has their own version. Like, that's really why we created this show. And we, you know, this show would not exist without callers. We don't want this show to exist without callers. So we won't continue to have a podcast without you guys, without people calling in.
[42:15] connecting with us. And, you know, I think one thing we've learned over the last six episodes, for some reason, people have a fear or a shyness about calling in. And I think we want to hear from everybody. We want to talk to you. That was the point of making this is that so, so many people don't feel unaccessible and that, that like,
[42:39] I think the world has created these tiers or these levels of like, oh, that person is untouchable. And actually most- It's giving human. It's giving human. It's giving human. So we want people to call in when we're promoting it. The goal is to do a series and then take a little bit of a break and come back and do a series and-
[43:00] We're planning a lot of cool stuff for you guys, some merch and some great things, Team Savannah, Team April. You know, we've gotten a lot of requests to have guests, but we're not quite ready yet. I think we really want the callers to be our guests. You know, like, yes, we can bring access to a lot of people, to you guys, I think, amongst our community. But.
[43:24] I think we are more curious about what people are doing in the real world than in the world we are often operating in. So just sending y'all a little love. We couldn't have done this without you. The last six episodes have allowed us to be our truest self. Yeah. And we're so thankful. And with that being said, I'm going to work on being a little more vocal because I'll be nervous.
[43:47] You did good. You did good. I mean, for all the people in the world that said Savannah didn't have a voice. It's giving. There is a voice. She does have a voice and a point of view. And she's very clever and smart and fabulous and funny as hell. And really...
[44:06] So I think this exercise was also to bring us both out of our comfort zone. Shout out to THT Studios that helped us to produce this. Love you guys. And our crew at WME and everybody that has been supportive of us stepping out to
[44:27] get comfortable with being uncomfortable. So it's been a journey. And Delaina and Allie and Erica and Karina and our crew. And we're just overjoyed that we made it. We made it. We finished the series. And now we need a song at the end. What will be our closeout song? Yo, everybody's crazy. No. That's the good one. That's the one. You're supposed to go. We need it like a...
[44:58] A street song? A street song. You heard your vocals. What's a street song? It's All The Way Up. We're all the way up. We're all the way up. Baby, it's showing. 1970. We not doing an audible song. I don't know. We need a good closeout song.
[45:22] That gives us a little something. It's giving crickets. We're actually for the culture, y'all, but we can't think of a good closeout song. So I guess we'll have to close out with our little theme song, Bought to you by...
[45:34] Boy Wanda. Thank you very much. We appreciate you. We love you so much. It's a bop. We love you guys. And thank you. Stay tuned. Stay tuned. More to come. Bye. So, guys, we just wrapped up episode six. So give us your money. We got some merch. Because we ain't got none. And we want to sell shit. She's sleepy, y'all.
[45:59] But we have merch coming. We got bonnets. We got scarves. We have hoodies. We have baby tees, candles, like all of the things. He's giving thrift bargains. All of the things, some of the things we've talked about on the show. And then also just some of our favorite things. So Link will be in the bio. I mean, the reality of it is it's Team Savannah and Team April. So running bonnets up. Thanks. So, you know, if you're a premium hot girl, you're going to get that scarf.
[46:27] But what we're going to come out with first is if you want to be cozy, you get a hoodie. If you want to be living your best life, you get a little baby tee. Show your belly button. Yeah. We're going to have some candles. We're going to have some... Bracelets. Bracelets. Everybody crazy. Beated bracelets. Besties for life. Not all for the Swifties, but just besties. Besties. Yes. And run your card up.
[46:57] We appreciate y'all. Thanks for rocking with us this far. And we'll see y'all back for season two.
