[0:00] Speaker 1: John's Family Podcast. Another eventful week for the family. We'll
[0:04] Speaker 1: get to that shortly. But a good show coming up.
[0:08] Speaker 1: I may have suggested, possibly an award winning show.
[0:11] Speaker 2: Do they do awards for podcasts? Is there are there
[0:14] Speaker 2: any out there?
[0:15] Speaker 1: I don't the Australian podcast towards, the international podcast towards.
[0:19] Speaker 3: There should be there's enough of them out there.
[0:20] Speaker 1: Well, this one might take one out because today we're
[0:23] Speaker 1: going to discuss many things dating shows, because a member
[0:27] Speaker 1: of this family has been under siege from a really
[0:30] Speaker 1: show producers try to get them on.
[0:33] Speaker 2: We'll get to that in a second. But here's a hint.
[0:35] Speaker 2: Milson Paradise.
[0:38] Speaker 1: I've got Cooper's Greatest Hits concert, which is going to
[0:41] Speaker 1: focus on Steven Spielberg films. Jack does obscure facts, and
[0:45] Speaker 1: we're going to debate which member of the family is
[0:48] Speaker 1: most likely to make an ass of themselves on.
[0:51] Speaker 2: A night out.
[0:52] Speaker 1: But and Trusha, you're going to do feedback from the
[0:55] Speaker 1: listeners as far as strange food indulgences. But family as
[0:59] Speaker 1: I juice ule. If you were an awards ceremony, which
[1:03] Speaker 1: would you be.
[1:03] Speaker 3: Tris John's I'd definitely be an Oscar up Oscar the grouch, theirs.
[1:10] Speaker 3: The award ceremony, I've actually won one that was for
[1:13] Speaker 3: best Newcomer to an annual transitasman Oscar party that I
[1:17] Speaker 3: attended a couple of years ago. I did, I got
[1:20] Speaker 3: best Newcomer. My speech was impeccable, although my Hollywood connections
[1:25] Speaker 3: tell me that the Golden actually the best and most
[1:29] Speaker 3: fun award ceremony because everyone's at the tables and they're
[1:32] Speaker 3: eating and they're drinking, whereas with the Oscars, the real
[1:36] Speaker 3: fun is the after party could.
[1:37] Speaker 2: Be a long show.
[1:38] Speaker 4: Go oh my god, how long?
[1:41] Speaker 2: What about you cook?
[1:43] Speaker 4: Along those lines, I said, I'd be the logis, but
[1:46] Speaker 4: more importantly, what the logis are to the Oscars? I said,
[1:50] Speaker 4: I'm a bit looser trashia and more easily bought slashed bride.
[1:55] Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure that's a Ricky Gervais quote.
[1:59] Speaker 1: It is.
[2:02] Speaker 4: What's that other?
[2:03] Speaker 5: What's that other?
[2:04] Speaker 2: Great?
[2:04] Speaker 5: That other great quote? Though you know geniuses steal?
[2:08] Speaker 2: Is that right?
[2:09] Speaker 1: Talent borrows genius steels? It's a David Bowie quote? But anyway,
[2:14] Speaker 1: you've got it half right.
[2:15] Speaker 2: What about you? Jack?
[2:16] Speaker 6: The Golden Raspberry Awards Razzies honoring the worst of cinematic underachievers.
[2:23] Speaker 3: Youve got to stop.
[2:24] Speaker 2: Down false modesty. I love it.
[2:28] Speaker 1: I've got the Baftis because it's just one of those
[2:32] Speaker 1: awards that nobody cares about it anymore.
[2:35] Speaker 2: Now, Trisha, has your.
[2:37] Speaker 3: Week been been busy?
[2:38] Speaker 5: Mate?
[2:38] Speaker 3: Highly productive.
[2:40] Speaker 1: We'll get to Cooper and Jack's week shortly, but girls,
[2:44] Speaker 1: we again coming up for you.
[2:46] Speaker 2: Just that extension of the fiftieth.
[2:48] Speaker 1: It's amazing the fiftieth has gone for to our fourth
[2:52] Speaker 1: or fifth week of celebrations.
[2:54] Speaker 3: It's going to be going a lot longer than that.
[2:56] Speaker 2: What's on the agenda?
[2:57] Speaker 3: What a good planned high king, games, games, hiking? I
[3:04] Speaker 3: mean I could have said walking, but that's very boring,
[3:06] Speaker 3: so I said hiking games.
[3:08] Speaker 1: You said board games, of course, banana.
[3:12] Speaker 3: Grams, Monopoly deal we are crazy glue so music, a
[3:18] Speaker 3: little bit dancing, hopefully a little bit of a singer.
[3:20] Speaker 2: Long acid. Who's going.
[3:25] Speaker 3: My Newcastle girls?
[3:26] Speaker 2: Okay? Name them?
[3:28] Speaker 3: No, just sure you just say something awful.
[3:31] Speaker 2: I'm just going to say, I'm going to hate you.
[3:33] Speaker 1: I'm going to rate out of ten how much fun
[3:35] Speaker 1: they'll be on this trip run through no do it
[3:39] Speaker 1: and should be nine out of ten.
[3:41] Speaker 2: Jackie, Jackie four. I live with Jackie. She doesn't drink
[3:47] Speaker 2: with Jackie felt about a.
[3:48] Speaker 6: Year and I can promise you she she she maybe
[3:52] Speaker 6: went out once one Saturday night, one or two Sturday.
[3:56] Speaker 6: She actually went out and had a drink.
[3:58] Speaker 2: Drinks at home in front of the TV.
[4:00] Speaker 6: She does.
[4:02] Speaker 2: Someone who will said Jackie's four out of ten.
[4:04] Speaker 3: Jack very nice again, Okay, she's got massive hate for you.
[4:10] Speaker 3: Right now there's a letter.
[4:11] Speaker 2: Five and a half out of ten. You've been scared.
[4:14] Speaker 2: I was generous. Stacey, Stacy three out of ten.
[4:20] Speaker 1: You don't even she just Stacey just sort of sits
[4:23] Speaker 1: there and stairs.
[4:27] Speaker 2: Who else? That's it? Is it? Well? Good luck on
[4:31] Speaker 2: that trip?
[4:31] Speaker 4: And what are we writing mom?
[4:33] Speaker 2: Mom? In between? About six? Yeah, give her a six
[4:37] Speaker 2: out of ten. Is certainly going to be the most fun.
[4:39] Speaker 2: Depends on game is going to be playing.
[4:41] Speaker 5: You know.
[4:41] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she's a wild girl that comes to banana
[4:43] Speaker 1: gam uh coub of John's the big story this week,
[4:48] Speaker 1: the debut for the Melbourne Storm. Congratulations, mate, We're very
[4:52] Speaker 1: proud of you. Now when this gets released, you've already
[4:55] Speaker 1: played the game. So just tell us how we're told
[4:59] Speaker 1: by Craig.
[5:00] Speaker 4: I got told so today obviously is what days at
[5:03] Speaker 4: the Wednesday, so today's the captain run.
[5:05] Speaker 5: And we got told.
[5:06] Speaker 4: I sort of got told her in the week that
[5:09] Speaker 4: I was a good chance and then so he just
[5:12] Speaker 4: sort of just let me have a few sleepless nights
[5:14] Speaker 4: and they told me today At captain drum, he sort
[5:16] Speaker 4: of just was announcing the team and he said, oh,
[5:19] Speaker 4: you know Riley Jackson five eight.
[5:21] Speaker 5: And on debut Cooper and then everyone was cheering.
[5:25] Speaker 1: Of course, it almost didn't happen a situation the coach.
[5:32] Speaker 2: The coach was off here.
[5:33] Speaker 4: Yeah, well he was off me. I run a little
[5:36] Speaker 4: segment for the boys. It's just a bit of a laugh,
[5:39] Speaker 4: and he was basically, I nominate someone and then they
[5:44] Speaker 4: have to wear a head gear for a week at
[5:46] Speaker 4: every meal in front of all the families they run.
[5:49] Speaker 4: And so you've probably seen there's probably been a bit
[5:52] Speaker 4: of social media pictures of Craig around the head year
[5:55] Speaker 4: at the moment, and I feel the other coaches sort
[5:58] Speaker 4: of said it was on the side day I did it,
[6:00] Speaker 4: and then they sort of said, mate, you're a good
[6:03] Speaker 4: chance to play this week and you probably may have
[6:06] Speaker 4: just ruined your chances.
[6:08] Speaker 2: So what's the hell. What does it stand for is
[6:09] Speaker 2: it goose of the week or something? You?
[6:12] Speaker 5: Yes, what a guess? Yeah, it's what a great guess.
[6:14] Speaker 5: It's good it is the goose.
[6:15] Speaker 1: The goose of the week's been around in rugby league
[6:17] Speaker 1: for about thirty forty years.
[6:18] Speaker 2: What what did what did Craig do to himself? The
[6:20] Speaker 2: goose Goose of the week.
[6:22] Speaker 4: So we've got to leave training. We've got vans that
[6:26] Speaker 4: you have to take a maximum.
[6:28] Speaker 5: Minimum of five in each van.
[6:30] Speaker 2: Yep.
[6:30] Speaker 5: And then and he basically bullied.
[6:34] Speaker 4: Our our media man to just take him and Craig
[6:38] Speaker 4: in the van, and we and we pulled up alongside
[6:40] Speaker 4: him at the lights and seen him just then two
[6:42] Speaker 4: in the van.
[6:43] Speaker 5: So he got nominated and elected.
[6:45] Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, go to the pond, Craig.
[6:49] Speaker 1: Yes, motivational talk, tell us what's your motivational talk at
[6:53] Speaker 1: this point?
[6:53] Speaker 2: You're going to give yourself full the game?
[6:55] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well I'll probably I'll probably do the team
[6:59] Speaker 4: one at this stage, which it looks like, Yeah, I'm
[7:02] Speaker 4: pretty sure Craig's and I that has worked for so
[7:05] Speaker 4: many weeks so far. I don't know why, just because
[7:07] Speaker 4: I'm playing it, don't the way I wouldn't let me
[7:09] Speaker 4: do it?
[7:09] Speaker 1: Yeah, well, good stuff. Now, this is the way we're
[7:13] Speaker 1: professional sport. Generally, there's a ying and a yang. Now,
[7:17] Speaker 1: Jack three weeks ago made his day, but we're all
[7:20] Speaker 1: very excited about that. Cooper was down the dumps and
[7:22] Speaker 1: disappointed because he didn't have his chance. Today Cooper is
[7:26] Speaker 1: in and unfortunately today at training Jack John has dislocated
[7:30] Speaker 1: his finger and did a compound fracture, so which means
[7:32] Speaker 1: it's coming. It came out of the skin.
[7:34] Speaker 6: Oh, it didn't fracture though, it's a compound dislocation.
[7:37] Speaker 2: So how did you how it feeling? You looked down
[7:39] Speaker 2: it was hanging on. I didn't realize.
[7:40] Speaker 6: I didn't honestly didn't even it wasn't hanging off. I
[7:42] Speaker 6: didn't even see it. Disokay, And obviously as I've come
[7:45] Speaker 6: back up, it's popped straight back in and looked down.
[7:48] Speaker 2: It was just it was looking I was looking at
[7:50] Speaker 2: me ligaments and bones.
[7:51] Speaker 6: Yeah, so surgery tomorrow, Yeah, geez, hilarious.
[7:57] Speaker 2: Yeah, where do we go with that?
[7:59] Speaker 1: Okay, that's all good after this week. Okay, let's let's
[8:02] Speaker 1: take a quick detour that Mount rushmore time. The five
[8:05] Speaker 1: faces of the stars.
[8:07] Speaker 2: Of Cartoon and animation that you were chiseling to Mount Rushmore.
[8:10] Speaker 3: Tricia, I am going to go with Simba okay, from
[8:21] Speaker 3: The Lion King. I just did a sudden change. I
[8:24] Speaker 3: was actually going to have Home Simpson up there, but
[8:26] Speaker 3: I've just decided to.
[8:29] Speaker 2: Change Shrek.
[8:32] Speaker 3: Yes, Woody from Toy Story. Buzz light Year also from
[8:37] Speaker 3: Toy Story, which may I add Jack used to have
[8:41] Speaker 3: an outfit of and be one arm up in the
[8:44] Speaker 3: air and off to infinity and beyond.
[8:47] Speaker 2: But we still got it. His bedspreads Toy Story.
[8:52] Speaker 3: And my last one will be Bullseye the Hawks from
[8:55] Speaker 3: Toy Story. Obviously, Toy Story had a big impact on
[8:58] Speaker 3: our family. It was actually the first movie we successfully
[9:01] Speaker 3: took the kids to were in England, and we did
[9:03] Speaker 3: it and made it through the movie without anyone screaming.
[9:08] Speaker 3: And Cooper used to walk around for about a year
[9:10] Speaker 3: carrying bullseye in one hand. Do you remember when we
[9:12] Speaker 3: lived in England.
[9:13] Speaker 2: Actually, in fact he still carries around this leaves were
[9:16] Speaker 2: bullseye and.
[9:17] Speaker 3: Then he had an elephant in the other hand.
[9:20] Speaker 6: Actual, he's got elephant in one hands.
[9:22] Speaker 2: As we speak. He's there. He's got elephant by the trunk.
[9:26] Speaker 2: Oh no, it's not. I'll do mine.
[9:29] Speaker 1: Now I've gone Hans Moment, Hans Molment Simpsons is I've
[9:39] Speaker 1: gone Carl and Lennie.
[9:42] Speaker 2: So t was Carl.
[9:44] Speaker 1: Number three is Lenny, Number two Peter Griffin and number
[9:47] Speaker 1: one Glenn Quagmire gm geky, wow, Jack.
[9:52] Speaker 4: Why do you have such little insignificant characters from the Simpsons.
[9:56] Speaker 2: And then I sort of left minded, sort of guy,
[10:00] Speaker 2: believe it all right? Well, myne.
[10:02] Speaker 6: Number one's Homer Simpson, number two Peter Griffin, number three,
[10:07] Speaker 6: Hans Molon makes a second, he's made a big in fact.
[10:11] Speaker 2: Number four bugs.
[10:12] Speaker 6: Bunny, Yeah right, and number five Millhouse's old man Kirk
[10:16] Speaker 6: van Houghten.
[10:20] Speaker 2: That's good, okay.
[10:23] Speaker 4: I had number one Homer Simpson, number two Keennie Griffin,
[10:26] Speaker 4: number three Bugs Bunny, Thanks Jack, And then I.
[10:28] Speaker 5: Had this is where I separate number four Jack Black
[10:31] Speaker 5: kung Fu Panda nice yep, and.
[10:35] Speaker 4: Then number five from the hit movie Ice Age hid
[10:38] Speaker 4: the slot.
[10:42] Speaker 2: Nice one.
[10:43] Speaker 1: It's time people for Patty's Playground, which he gives feedback,
[10:46] Speaker 1: then feedback for next.
[10:48] Speaker 2: Week, which will have a chat around. But trish what
[10:50] Speaker 2: he got for us?
[10:51] Speaker 3: Okay, So we've got the feedback from the sneaky food
[10:54] Speaker 3: indulgences that we had. There were some good ones. There
[11:00] Speaker 3: is chicken nuggets dipped in soft serve, and then it's
[11:03] Speaker 3: actually even better if apparently you put caramel topping on it,
[11:08] Speaker 3: and the cookies as well.
[11:10] Speaker 2: Obesity and diabetes. That was tayow.
[11:14] Speaker 3: So I figured that's like you know the Americans have
[11:17] Speaker 3: that chicken dish with pang is it the chicken dish
[11:21] Speaker 3: with waffles? You know how they do the sweet and
[11:24] Speaker 3: the savory. Yeah, it's a bit like that.
[11:29] Speaker 1: Americans like the salt and sweet together. Peanut butter and
[11:34] Speaker 1: jelly sandwiches.
[11:34] Speaker 3: We've come in a bit much later with Has.
[11:36] Speaker 1: Anyone ever had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Because
[11:39] Speaker 1: when you grow out, have you had one?
[11:41] Speaker 2: Coot?
[11:42] Speaker 5: Yeah, they're good, They're very delicious.
[11:44] Speaker 3: I used to have peanut butter and honey on toast
[11:47] Speaker 3: and I think I put on about five kilos, So
[11:49] Speaker 3: don't do it. I actually did. No. I had like
[11:57] Speaker 3: four slices every night after dinner. It wasn't actually the
[12:01] Speaker 3: meal that was like my dessert.
[12:02] Speaker 2: That it was when I was at Uni, I bought
[12:04] Speaker 2: you that treadmill.
[12:06] Speaker 3: Okay, there's also quite a few frozen indulgences, frozen potato gems,
[12:12] Speaker 3: and I actually went back to this person. I said, oh,
[12:14] Speaker 3: do you mean, like you know when you cook them?
[12:16] Speaker 3: They went, no, No, frozen from the free freezer.
[12:19] Speaker 2: Gross.
[12:19] Speaker 1: Okay, is anyone has anyone here eaten something frozen like that?
[12:25] Speaker 1: You HiT's something savory that's frozen.
[12:28] Speaker 6: I'm not going to say frozen, but you know what,
[12:29] Speaker 6: I reckon taste better cold. No, one want to make
[12:32] Speaker 6: some enemies here.
[12:33] Speaker 2: Pizza.
[12:35] Speaker 6: I like, you know when you put the fridge in
[12:36] Speaker 6: the next the next day.
[12:38] Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's not frozen.
[12:39] Speaker 2: You've got seen the frieze rather than hot.
[12:43] Speaker 3: I can do that.
[12:44] Speaker 2: I can, I can, I can get that. I do
[12:47] Speaker 2: prefer it. I like the next day with the pizza,
[12:49] Speaker 2: hitting it up in the microwave.
[12:50] Speaker 3: Yes, skip that, you just go.
[12:53] Speaker 2: Straight up, straight in, But I will go for okay.
[12:58] Speaker 3: There was also frozen pastry sheets right from gen and
[13:03] Speaker 3: then there was the biscuits, lots of biscuits, Scotch fingers
[13:08] Speaker 3: and cookies with Natella in them. And they make a
[13:12] Speaker 3: Natella sandwich out of the biscuits.
[13:14] Speaker 2: And apparently that's good for your kids.
[13:16] Speaker 3: And then my favorite one was beer and chocolate. I'm sorry,
[13:21] Speaker 3: I went young. Oh god, So to me, that's like
[13:24] Speaker 3: a shandy.
[13:25] Speaker 2: Yeah, you do like two years old though interest and.
[13:27] Speaker 3: I like too is new with a dash of lemonade.
[13:30] Speaker 3: There's my shandy, I.
[13:31] Speaker 2: Call him in England lagatops.
[13:32] Speaker 3: So that was that was from Rocky and I actually
[13:35] Speaker 3: liked that.
[13:35] Speaker 5: I thought, yeah, I.
[13:36] Speaker 3: Could do that.
[13:36] Speaker 2: So now this week, what are you doing?
[13:38] Speaker 3: Okay? This week we are talking dating shows and reality TV?
[13:43] Speaker 3: Nice okay. So the reason that I sort of came
[13:47] Speaker 3: up with this one was that our eldest son some
[13:51] Speaker 3: time ago was approached by a couple of producers in
[13:53] Speaker 3: a pub for a reality show. Do you want to
[13:55] Speaker 3: take that.
[13:56] Speaker 2: Story away to the pub?
[13:58] Speaker 6: I was at the Oaks, Yeah, in Neutral Bab a
[14:01] Speaker 6: year and a half ago.
[14:01] Speaker 2: I think in simple days when you walk into a pub,
[14:04] Speaker 2: not worry about COVID.
[14:05] Speaker 6: And these girls approached me, probably their mid thirties, who knows,
[14:10] Speaker 6: and they come up to me and go, you know,
[14:14] Speaker 6: how are you know?
[14:14] Speaker 2: Nicea?
[14:15] Speaker 6: We're actually producers of a popular reality show on I
[14:19] Speaker 6: think it was Channel nine or ten, I'm not sure
[14:22] Speaker 6: which one.
[14:22] Speaker 2: Was cool. Well, then a story matte Sorry, I'm yeah.
[14:28] Speaker 6: And I was like, no, no, I'm all good because
[14:32] Speaker 6: to your age. And they came up to me and
[14:34] Speaker 6: then I went past them again. They oh how old
[14:36] Speaker 6: are you? And I went I think I was like twenty.
[14:37] Speaker 6: I was like yeah and twenty at the time. And
[14:38] Speaker 6: they go, oh, you're way too young, and I went, oh,
[14:41] Speaker 6: I said what show is this for?
[14:42] Speaker 2: And they go married at first sight, I thought, they said,
[14:46] Speaker 2: I thought that's a popular show.
[14:48] Speaker 6: Actually, the first season made us boys Brunker rode there.
[14:51] Speaker 6: We were locked in that year.
[14:53] Speaker 2: It's emotional some of the Now there's a part two
[14:59] Speaker 2: to this.
[15:00] Speaker 1: You have via social media since you've made your first
[15:03] Speaker 1: grade to do so before that, yeah, well before that,
[15:06] Speaker 1: you've been inundated with producers from these reality shows asking
[15:10] Speaker 1: to go on.
[15:10] Speaker 6: Yeah, I've had three requests, three requests from female producers.
[15:15] Speaker 2: Watch that I haven't said.
[15:17] Speaker 6: They just say I'm from a popular TV series and
[15:19] Speaker 6: they just say the channel.
[15:22] Speaker 3: Or do you think they're just chicks wanting to start
[15:24] Speaker 3: a conversation?
[15:25] Speaker 2: Maybe channel say so.
[15:27] Speaker 6: I think it was nine, I think ten, or maybe
[15:31] Speaker 6: maybe even was the other one there was.
[15:40] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[15:43] Speaker 1: Could I just suggest something if they're ring you again,
[15:45] Speaker 1: So listen, I'm not in but the old man's keen
[15:48] Speaker 1: in paradise.
[15:50] Speaker 6: You know Instagram works if they ring you again?
[15:52] Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, it's all over it. It looks just feel free.
[15:56] Speaker 2: People to send me a fact.
[15:58] Speaker 3: If someone approached you for a reality the dating show,

[26:04] Speaker 2: What's seventy three out of one hundred? As a percentage, Matt,
[26:07] Speaker 2: that is seventy three percent?
[26:10] Speaker 1: Thank you, Maris Brother's mateland a couple of tips for
[26:12] Speaker 1: people that are out there, had a couple of people
[26:14] Speaker 1: coming in, so you've got more tips for films and

[26:23] Speaker 1: and I think it's sort of beauty and body care.
[26:25] Speaker 2: So what it is?
[26:25] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[26:26] Speaker 6: Yeah, I used to get the girl's bath bombs from
[26:29] Speaker 6: bath Bombs.
[26:30] Speaker 2: You know place.
[26:31] Speaker 3: Matt knows it because he went to Lush to buy

[26:37] Speaker 1: Well, I guess people, honestly, go there and get this.
[26:40] Speaker 1: It's a toothpaste called white Fang, and it's a toothpaste
[26:46] Speaker 1: jelly and mate, it is insane anyone.
[26:49] Speaker 3: It tastes good. But Matt, why did I find my
[26:53] Speaker 3: nice tooth whitening toothpaste in your drawer this morning? If
[26:57] Speaker 3: you're using white.
[26:58] Speaker 1: Fangs, I am not using your lightning thing because your
[27:02] Speaker 1: teeth a right. Honestly, people go and check it out
[27:06] Speaker 1: and go and buy it. It's a jilly toothpaste, white fans.
[27:11] Speaker 6: Very, did you feel good like lash like beauty and
[27:15] Speaker 6: care place? Did you actually feel awkward walking in there?
[27:17] Speaker 7: Now?
[27:17] Speaker 1: Because I was telling them I was just buying stuff
[27:19] Speaker 1: at Trish which I was using. And another one for
[27:22] Speaker 1: people if you like good journalism, a fellow called let Blaine.
[27:28] Speaker 1: He has got an online magazine called The Monthly dot
[27:31] Speaker 1: com dot Au and he's done written article which I
[27:36] Speaker 1: think is one of the best pieces of journalism I've
[27:38] Speaker 1: seen associated with sport. It talks about rugby league and
[27:43] Speaker 1: the struggle of class warfare and Australian sport. So let
[27:46] Speaker 1: Blaine the Monthly dot com dot Au get around it, guys,
[27:49] Speaker 1: any any tips, tips on the horses or anything.
[27:53] Speaker 3: Now I've got no tips, but I need a tip.
[27:55] Speaker 3: So this is out to people. Jack's got one particular
[27:58] Speaker 3: pair of shoes and I can mail them right now.
[28:00] Speaker 3: He's got them on. It smells like the cat has
[28:03] Speaker 3: pissed it.
[28:04] Speaker 1: Thank god, it's a shoe to any I thought it
[28:06] Speaker 1: was your breath might have been the cat might have pistol.
[28:09] Speaker 3: She didn't though, because it's in both. She'd have just
[28:11] Speaker 3: done anyone. It's something about the one's always better training
[28:16] Speaker 3: really bad. Well, I need a cure for that. She
[28:18] Speaker 3: probably PopEd some bi cup soda in it.
[28:20] Speaker 2: Do you need some? Do you need a cure for that?
[28:22] Speaker 1: Really?
[28:22] Speaker 3: It's so bad I can smell it.
[28:23] Speaker 2: Do it, baby? Do it? What about? You got any
[28:26] Speaker 2: tips for us?
[28:27] Speaker 4: This Saturday at Round Week, Melody Bell in the wing steaks.
[28:32] Speaker 4: I've been tipped her. At the moment, she's at thirteen dollars.
[28:35] Speaker 4: If you want to get on early, guys, maybe in
[28:37] Speaker 4: each way bet and also with a spoons running this
[28:41] Speaker 4: weekend of round Week.
[28:42] Speaker 5: I don't know if she's playing nineteen dollars. I don't
[28:44] Speaker 5: know if she could win, but you might be able
[28:46] Speaker 5: to get her for a place.
[28:47] Speaker 3: You know, she came third last time. And do you
[28:50] Speaker 3: know that there's also a bloody dog called with a
[28:52] Speaker 3: spoon that I feelishly backed and got nowhere.
[28:56] Speaker 2: Did actually I backed a horse today.
[28:58] Speaker 1: I backed at our car and and awfully, that's not
[29:01] Speaker 1: an Omen family debate time.
[29:04] Speaker 2: Okay, let's get our heads together here and okay, it's.
[29:07] Speaker 1: Gonna be a little difficult this one who's most likely okay,
[29:11] Speaker 1: in this family, who's most likely to make an ass
[29:13] Speaker 1: of themselves on a night out?
[29:15] Speaker 2: Okay, do you want to kick off?
[29:18] Speaker 3: I'm going to say you, Matt, really, what brings you history?
[29:24] Speaker 2: Okay?
[29:25] Speaker 5: Evident?
[29:26] Speaker 3: Yeah, such like bad dancing, going up, talking to perfect
[29:32] Speaker 3: strangers who don't want to be spoken to.
[29:34] Speaker 2: Some most do.
[29:35] Speaker 1: Sometimes they asked me to walk away which I don't.
[29:38] Speaker 1: I just keep hanging in there, because what sort of
[29:40] Speaker 1: a person when you walk up being nice if someone
[29:42] Speaker 1: says sorry, can you go away?
[29:44] Speaker 2: We're trying to have dinner. Yeah, that's right exactly.
[29:46] Speaker 1: Yet I see I'm saying Trish, I've seen Trish. Trish
[29:51] Speaker 1: is really good until she's not. When Trish she can
[29:54] Speaker 1: sit there, she's having a great time.
[29:55] Speaker 2: She's ball of energy. Suddenly the batteries just drop out.
[29:59] Speaker 3: Very tired.
[30:01] Speaker 2: Years are both true.
[30:03] Speaker 6: In fact, I've actually got all of yours, Jack, I
[30:08] Speaker 6: wrote a little something for Inch Ofviews. Actually trus John's.
[30:11] Speaker 6: She becomes a kicker and gets quite abusive.
[30:14] Speaker 2: She does, she does, she gets, she gets really mouthy.
[30:18] Speaker 6: Cooper John's on a night out, becomes a kicker and
[30:21] Speaker 6: gets quite abusive. Matthew Johns, I've just got here is
[30:26] Speaker 6: generally a mess.
[30:28] Speaker 1: I have a good time. Remember the time we went
[30:31] Speaker 1: to Hawaii. It was the first year of the Titans.
[30:33] Speaker 1: They took people out of Hawaii on it what they
[30:35] Speaker 1: call it symposium. Yes, anyway, that took me over to
[30:39] Speaker 1: me to be the MC at this special.
[30:42] Speaker 2: Lou Hour that having had madeor sponsors are.
[30:44] Speaker 3: Anything with only ride that day. This was first first night.

[30:51] Speaker 1: I started drinking what bud light because at the time
[30:54] Speaker 1: I was sort of convincing myself.
[30:55] Speaker 2: That it's light beer.
[30:56] Speaker 1: Tricia, you drink, make sure you only drink light or
[30:59] Speaker 1: mid strength, because you've got to do this lou out tonight,
[31:01] Speaker 1: I said, Trish made him drinking light.
[31:03] Speaker 2: Mate. I ended up so blind.
[31:06] Speaker 1: That I that I actually before the lou hour even
[31:09] Speaker 1: started that going where's the MC Where's I was asleep
[31:12] Speaker 1: in the toilet. Then they got me out and I

[31:56] Speaker 4: question was making an ark out of themselves, and I
[31:58] Speaker 4: think that you are probably the most likely to make
[32:01] Speaker 4: an ass out of yourself.
[32:03] Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, little respect.

[34:07] Speaker 1: Wow, poor old James Blunting. You might have a start
[34:10] Speaker 1: change Blunt. It's a rhyming slang.
[34:12] Speaker 6: Actually, I've got a James Blunt one for our next segment.
[34:15] Speaker 6: Have you Jack's obscure Fast Oh here we go, which
[34:17] Speaker 6: begins right now. My first fact of the day obscure.
[34:23] Speaker 6: If it's something, it's mister potato head. Was the first
[34:27] Speaker 6: toy to be advertised on television?
[34:29] Speaker 2: Yes? It was? Did you know that, Jack?
[34:33] Speaker 1: If you asked me that, what was the first toy
[34:36] Speaker 1: to be advertised in television? I would not know, but
[34:38] Speaker 1: I remember hearing it on a podcast sold sold massive.
[34:42] Speaker 2: It was a megaseller.
[34:44] Speaker 1: It's interesting, so simple a potato head put nose on
[34:47] Speaker 1: him in ears because I'm going to put out this year,
[34:51] Speaker 1: mister pumpkinhead, and you get to put nose ears, smile, little.
[34:55] Speaker 6: Hat, little shoes and little hands. No, I was trying
[34:59] Speaker 6: to start number two. Now I've got one, the James
[35:02] Speaker 6: Blunt All right? Did you know that James Blunt recorded
[35:05] Speaker 6: his first album while living with Carry Fisher. Goodbye My
[35:08] Speaker 6: Lover was recorded in her bathroom?
[35:10] Speaker 2: Really were carry Fisher? Carry Fisher from Star Wars who's
[35:14] Speaker 2: passed the last couple of years?
[35:15] Speaker 3: Hang on, what do you mean he was living with her?
[35:18] Speaker 6: He was living there are a couple, but she was
[35:21] Speaker 6: living Trisha.
[35:23] Speaker 1: Look, this is what is where you let yourself down
[35:27] Speaker 1: and a woman can be friends.
[35:30] Speaker 6: Right. Number three, before the term bloopers was coined outtakes
[35:34] Speaker 6: were called bonus.
[35:36] Speaker 5: Did you know that?
[35:39] Speaker 2: Pretty pretty interesting?
[35:40] Speaker 5: How did you find out? How did you find that out?
[35:42] Speaker 2: Oh?
[35:42] Speaker 6: Mate, I've got my I've got a very resourceful man.
[35:46] Speaker 2: Well interesting one.
[35:48] Speaker 6: And then my last one for this segment is in
[35:51] Speaker 6: nineteen eighty, Las Vegas General Hospitals suspended workers for betting
[35:55] Speaker 6: on whether patients.
[35:56] Speaker 2: Would survive or.
[36:00] Speaker 3: It's amazing.
[36:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, what year was that? Nineteen eighty? Wow, well that's awesome.
[36:05] Speaker 3: Did you say Las Vegas?
[36:06] Speaker 6: Yes, only Las Vegas General Hospital.
[36:09] Speaker 2: I'm just looking at my bedding app on the phone.
[36:11] Speaker 2: What does that let me? There's not a market for it?
[36:16] Speaker 2: What have we become? Now?
[36:17] Speaker 1: Just a nanny state? Seriously, curbs what he got for us?
[36:21] Speaker 1: May I got any obscure facts or anything you want
[36:23] Speaker 1: to share with us?
[36:24] Speaker 6: M No.
[36:26] Speaker 4: Sometimes when I'm in my room alone, I like to Okay,
[36:29] Speaker 4: let's move on.
[36:31] Speaker 3: I've got one. Can I add it? I just heard
[36:32] Speaker 3: it on the American News just earlier today. There are
[36:38] Speaker 3: giant hornets making their weight to the US from Japan.
[36:43] Speaker 3: I think they're called burger hornets. They're five times the
[36:47] Speaker 3: size of honeybees and they will kill the honey bees
[36:50] Speaker 3: and they kill up to fifty humans a year in Japan. Really,
[36:55] Speaker 3: so the US are tracking them to eradicate them before
[36:59] Speaker 3: they make land.
[37:00] Speaker 2: Why would they why would they be migrating? Would they
[37:02] Speaker 2: migrate to the USA?
[37:03] Speaker 3: I don't know, and I don't know. How are they
[37:05] Speaker 3: tracking them? And then how do they plan on eradicating
[37:10] Speaker 3: news these days, they just don't give you enough from Japan.
[37:12] Speaker 2: You say, how are they getting to the US.
[37:14] Speaker 3: I don't know. I was just listening to the report flying.
[37:17] Speaker 2: Well, let's say jump on little birds, little planes.
[37:21] Speaker 3: Well they're five times the size of a honeybee. Well,
[37:24] Speaker 3: so these wings got some power.
[37:26] Speaker 1: That'll be that'll be interesting because there's there's a I
[37:30] Speaker 1: don't know theory or it's fact about diminishing honey bees
[37:34] Speaker 1: in the world. Protesters about the environment, Well this could
[37:37] Speaker 1: be bad if they can wipe out the honeymoon.
[37:39] Speaker 2: That's exactly about because it's like here, so.
[37:41] Speaker 1: When I was growing up, there were like willy wagtails everywhere.
[37:45] Speaker 1: They were like the birds, little birds like that were
[37:47] Speaker 1: the fun birds, like sparrows, and then the Indian minor birds.
[37:50] Speaker 3: Come over and they've just we rarely see a Sparrow.
[37:53] Speaker 3: These days were certainly not in Sydney.
[37:56] Speaker 5: How would they know? How would they know where America is?
[37:58] Speaker 5: It's like they have little maps.
[37:59] Speaker 3: I don't know, and I don't know why the Americans
[38:02] Speaker 3: know they're en route to them.
[38:03] Speaker 1: So there's lots of Tricia. If you're going to bring
[38:07] Speaker 1: us a scure face, come on.
[38:08] Speaker 3: Mate, Hey, I just have to contact the RSPRECIATION and
[38:15] Speaker 3: tell them to, you know, provide better news coverage, more information.
[38:18] Speaker 2: Yeah, we should do.
[38:19] Speaker 1: I should ring a ring, ring RSPCA or just someone
[38:25] Speaker 1: here maybe ring ring a hotline emergency hotline. Said listen, guys,
[38:28] Speaker 1: I've got a report. There's all these there's these five times,
[38:32] Speaker 1: these prehistoric bees flying to America at the moment with.
[38:35] Speaker 2: Little maps and their little planes. And then I wipe
[38:38] Speaker 2: out the honeyboos. They'd say, hey, mate, stop dancing on ice.
[38:43] Speaker 3: You people just need to be aware of these things
[38:45] Speaker 3: are affecting the environment. And can I just another one.
[38:50] Speaker 3: I just I bumped into a couple of Cooper's mates
[38:53] Speaker 3: today and Cooper, I just need you to verify this.
[38:56] Speaker 3: They told me that in your phone you actually have
[39:00] Speaker 3: pre prepared lists of insults for each of them. Mates,
[39:05] Speaker 3: is this correct?
[39:06] Speaker 5: I have dirt on them in case they have a
[39:09] Speaker 5: turn on me.
[39:09] Speaker 3: Yes, Oh my god, what's a friend to you?
[39:14] Speaker 1: Can you actually just go rule at it and and
[39:16] Speaker 1: just like change change the name for you for fear
[39:20] Speaker 1: of embarrassment for their families, But can you give a
[39:23] Speaker 1: couple of examples, reach into your little diary there of
[39:26] Speaker 1: hate and pull a couple of out if I can.
[39:28] Speaker 2: Guess you it is, will you tell us I can't.
[39:31] Speaker 7: I can't. There's I cannot disclose any of this information
[39:35] Speaker 7: because it will only show weakness.
[39:38] Speaker 3: And it will lessen his power.
[39:42] Speaker 5: Because they actually are great listeners of the podcast.
[39:44] Speaker 2: Just change the name and give us, give us the
[39:46] Speaker 2: dirt you get on a couple of guys.
[39:49] Speaker 5: Well, I'm not I'm not disclosing that sort of information, right.
[39:52] Speaker 4: That's it's it's my personal information. I've got it on
[39:55] Speaker 4: you guys too.
[39:57] Speaker 1: I will.
[39:59] Speaker 2: Offered. I'm happy to know. I'm the sacrificial lamp. I'm
[40:06] Speaker 2: here the podcast. Yeah, please take.
[40:08] Speaker 5: Me or at least one of Jack's won's okay, okay, yeah, okay.
[40:13] Speaker 5: As a young child. When I say young child, maybe
[40:16] Speaker 5: like eight or nine, we were getting.
[40:17] Speaker 4: Home from somewhere and we were Jack Jack was running
[40:23] Speaker 4: down the hallway and he was busted a pooh and
[40:26] Speaker 4: as he hit my meat us from the toilet, he
[40:29] Speaker 4: shipped himself and it went all over the hallway.
[40:31] Speaker 6: For you know, you know you've brought He's brought this
[40:34] Speaker 6: up for years and I can't remember when it was.
[40:37] Speaker 6: Remember that, Yeah, you know, now I know why I
[40:41] Speaker 6: get the leg up on me all the time. He's
[40:42] Speaker 6: actually got and written down. He can memorize everything from
[40:45] Speaker 6: the past.
[40:45] Speaker 1: That's a special kind of evil that writes down sort
[40:48] Speaker 1: of stuff to hold it against.
[40:51] Speaker 2: I'll go one similar hell and Joey we were. We
[40:54] Speaker 2: used to get the.
[40:55] Speaker 1: Bus down to high school down a Maitland about forty minutes,
[40:58] Speaker 1: so you go around the bus teppo, which was about yeah,
[41:01] Speaker 1: three hundred meters from the house.
[41:02] Speaker 2: So we're walking over there one.
[41:03] Speaker 1: Morning and we get just about the bus step and
[41:05] Speaker 1: Joey's like, oh, mate, I'm going to take a shit
[41:08] Speaker 1: really bad.
[41:09] Speaker 2: I'm desperate.
[41:10] Speaker 1: And I was like, mate, well just just just turn
[41:12] Speaker 1: around and go home. So Joey loves the bag with
[41:15] Speaker 1: me and just takes off home. And as you know,
[41:18] Speaker 1: probably the golden rule if you feel like going to
[41:21] Speaker 1: shoot yourself.
[41:21] Speaker 2: He don't run, just.
[41:22] Speaker 1: Stay patient because the moment you start running, you can
[41:25] Speaker 1: almost feel that it's going to come out. So Joey,
[41:28] Speaker 1: this is what the old man says. Joey busts open
[41:30] Speaker 1: the door, Joe's sprinting, pulls down his pants and as
[41:34] Speaker 1: he hits and does his huge shit, the toilet seats down.
[41:39] Speaker 2: Oh, isn't that good? But Jack?
[41:48] Speaker 1: Last week we do your version of shoot Chagger Mary,
[41:50] Speaker 1: but we're going to make it less offensive. Saying you
[41:52] Speaker 1: want to shoot someone's a little in this sense. We're
[41:54] Speaker 1: a little here you're going. So what do you got
[41:56] Speaker 1: for us? What's it called?
[41:57] Speaker 2: He's got a slap? Marry or do the dirty? Uh?
[42:00] Speaker 6: It's with Cooper John's. This week we've gone with the
[42:02] Speaker 6: theme of his Melbourne Storm teammates. Number one, we've gone
[42:06] Speaker 6: with Cameron Munster he's betting buddy. Number two Schander Earle,
[42:12] Speaker 6: he's tanning buddy. And number three Delphinuan he's buddy. So Cooper,
[42:18] Speaker 6: which one are.
[42:19] Speaker 2: You going to marry?
[42:20] Speaker 6: Which one are you going to slap? And which one
[42:23] Speaker 6: you're going to spend the rest of your life with?
[42:25] Speaker 5: You guys might think this is a little little left Field.
[42:28] Speaker 5: What are we gonna do is I'm going to do
[42:30] Speaker 5: the dirty with delphinukin o.
[42:35] Speaker 2: Poor. That's rough.
[42:39] Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna do the dirty with delphan because he's
[42:42] Speaker 5: he's a sweet, tender and loveful man. Yeah, it is,
[42:50] Speaker 5: it is. And then what are we.
[42:52] Speaker 7: Gonna do is little left field, I'm gonna own a
[42:55] Speaker 7: slap shandle Yeah.
[42:57] Speaker 5: Right, he's got he's got a lot of tattoos, the
[43:02] Speaker 5: big door.
[43:02] Speaker 7: And you know, if I want to spend the rest
[43:04] Speaker 7: of my life with someone, I don't want it to
[43:06] Speaker 7: be someone who's got the tatoos and the big the money,
[43:09] Speaker 7: the money man, money bag's monster. I think he could
[43:12] Speaker 7: provide a really good life and.
[43:13] Speaker 5: House for me. So I'm marrying money.
[43:14] Speaker 2: Well, if you marry money, marrying money I've got. I've
[43:17] Speaker 2: got no doubt.
[43:17] Speaker 1: After at least twelve months, two years at most, you
[43:20] Speaker 1: get a divorce.
[43:21] Speaker 2: YouTube.
[43:22] Speaker 5: I'm taking for half, and I'm take him for half.
[43:24] Speaker 2: That's good. I'm happy with that, Okay, Trush to finish
[43:27] Speaker 2: with our tombstone.
[43:28] Speaker 3: We've got teams, don't okay. So if your worst enemy
[43:32] Speaker 3: could write anything on your tombstone, what would it be? Okay, well,
[43:37] Speaker 3: my worst enemy is going to write who's going to
[43:40] Speaker 3: do the grocery shopping?
[43:41] Speaker 5: Now? Who's your worst that will?
[43:47] Speaker 6: He's writing that, you all say, not handsy enough?
[43:52] Speaker 2: All right? Yeah, okay, Cooper, John's confused.
[43:56] Speaker 5: I'm trying to who are your worst enemies in this?
[43:59] Speaker 4: That's weird.
[43:59] Speaker 2: You've got me try to narrow one down.
[44:02] Speaker 5: Yeah, for me, I did guess what? You're not my son?
[44:09] Speaker 2: Why would you say that?
[44:12] Speaker 6: Gidley? I don't know what.
[44:13] Speaker 5: I don't know what Kate Gidley would say that.
[44:14] Speaker 2: I know mine would be complex man, but a good brother. Okay,
[44:19] Speaker 2: that's all we got for this week. Cooper.
[44:21] Speaker 1: We wish you well, JACKO speedy recovery.
[44:26] Speaker 5: So yah
