[0:00] Speaker 1: Forget to just get when we just get into that
[0:03] Speaker 1: mic or not not into it.
[0:04] Speaker 2: But one second, mate, one second, No.
[0:10] Speaker 3: Just listen to these people. This is the younger bloke
[0:12] Speaker 3: acting like big men on campus.
[0:14] Speaker 1: Okay, well I'm the audio man, brokay, I have the
[0:17] Speaker 1: headphones on.
[0:18] Speaker 3: I dictate, but you got the boss you're talking to
[0:21] Speaker 3: the bosses saying they talking to the mic more. I
[0:23] Speaker 3: think he's crossed.
[0:24] Speaker 1: Really at the end of the day, I also hold
[0:26] Speaker 1: the levels. So if I wanted to turn you down, dad, yeah,
[0:30] Speaker 1: now you talk.
[0:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, Hey, hey, guys, I can speak up someone else's mic.
[0:36] Speaker 3: You turn me down at your peril. You turn me
[0:39] Speaker 3: down at your peril.
[0:41] Speaker 1: If you if you aim for the king, best aimed
[0:44] Speaker 1: for the head, exactly the same.
[0:46] Speaker 3: And then may you're going to shoot the queen as well,
[0:48] Speaker 3: because otherwise she's going to come for you.
[0:49] Speaker 4: And what about all their family?
[0:50] Speaker 1: I've always found you shoot them.
[0:54] Speaker 4: Grandparents? My lord?
[0:55] Speaker 3: It has been, this has been. This could be our
[0:58] Speaker 3: momentous podcast. There been so much going on this week,
[1:02] Speaker 3: and the big one, as we all know, which curious about,
[1:05] Speaker 3: is our buying a stake in the Gold Coast Titans.
[1:08] Speaker 3: What yeah, and that surprised for.
[1:13] Speaker 1: Sorry, when are we going to tell that when.
[1:20] Speaker 3: Titans me?
[1:21] Speaker 1: I rang him, I actually rang, he was I hadn't
[1:24] Speaker 1: told any of my mates. I rang in the day
[1:26] Speaker 1: before it came out because I wanted him to know
[1:27] Speaker 1: it came from me before he and then he was like,
[1:31] Speaker 1: so does that mean I get membership? That's a very
[1:34] Speaker 1: good that.
[1:34] Speaker 2: Everybody's a very good rason.
[1:37] Speaker 3: No, it does.
[1:38] Speaker 1: I said, we are not. I said we're not. F
[1:40] Speaker 1: and charity.
[1:41] Speaker 2: Is he even back from.
[1:43] Speaker 4: Back?
[1:44] Speaker 3: Yeah, nothing, says Bali like Rasmond.
[1:47] Speaker 1: Yeah, there you can only imagine scooters hanging around cooter.
[1:53] Speaker 1: No one hangs ras men does it's the cheapest place.
[1:56] Speaker 4: That's gross.
[1:58] Speaker 3: He the type of guy point was having to get
[2:00] Speaker 3: that mess.
[2:02] Speaker 1: Yeah, but let's quickly just quick address.
[2:05] Speaker 3: Of the Titans.
[2:06] Speaker 4: Very exciting.
[2:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was obviously big news through the week.
[2:09] Speaker 1: But congratulations, it's very good stuff. Like, it's quite exciting.
[2:14] Speaker 3: It's great for the family, you know. Coincidentally, what had happened.
[2:17] Speaker 3: Trish and I were sitting watching the football and I
[2:20] Speaker 3: said to Trisha, there is no better time than right
[2:23] Speaker 3: now to buy into an NRL club. The NRL is booming,
[2:27] Speaker 3: it's in the best. I think it's in a really
[2:29] Speaker 3: golden age and it's going to continue to boom. We've
[2:32] Speaker 3: got new teams coming in the competition, you know, Pitt
[2:35] Speaker 3: of Landy's at the helm and everything going on. And
[2:37] Speaker 3: then a morning or two later, Trisha came out of
[2:39] Speaker 3: the back, had a conversation with Breton Beck and they
[2:45] Speaker 3: were like, we're interested, would you guys be interested in
[2:47] Speaker 3: by mistake? No brainer?
[2:50] Speaker 4: Actually, no brainer, no miscessitant usually that yeah.
[2:53] Speaker 1: Yeah, but what I will?
[2:54] Speaker 3: I will?
[2:56] Speaker 1: It sounds like a race horse, doesn't It would be
[2:59] Speaker 1: a good.
[2:59] Speaker 4: Too if she says.
[3:01] Speaker 1: Look, and I'm happy as right, happy as for you guys.
[3:04] Speaker 1: But me and Jack were talking and Jesus could have
[3:07] Speaker 1: done it three years earlier. Good made Jack. I mean
[3:11] Speaker 1: he just waited until we bloody retired.
[3:13] Speaker 3: Jack John's captain coach John taking all the goal kicking. Yeah,
[3:17] Speaker 3: I know.
[3:17] Speaker 1: It would have been a great way to get to
[3:20] Speaker 1: get your boys paid. We would have taken up at
[3:23] Speaker 1: least sixty percent salary cap.
[3:24] Speaker 3: Yeah, but it is quite it's quite surreal, particularly.
[3:29] Speaker 2: For you, Matt.
[3:30] Speaker 4: I think more so like someone who's literally had a
[3:33] Speaker 4: rugby league in their blood from well at the moment
[3:37] Speaker 4: you were born.
[3:37] Speaker 1: Everybody, every every boat that's ever played inn RL. There
[3:40] Speaker 1: there no one ever like sits there as a kid
[3:43] Speaker 1: and goes, you know, I want to play three hundred
[3:45] Speaker 1: games of everyone's like, if I could get there and
[3:48] Speaker 1: play one game, Oh, that'd be my dream come true.
[3:52] Speaker 1: Not only did you play in the NRL, but now
[3:54] Speaker 1: being a part owner in a club, and what I imagine
[3:58] Speaker 1: is there's and I was racking my brain. I don't
[4:00] Speaker 1: think there's ever really been players who have played in
[4:03] Speaker 1: the NL and then been a minority owner in a club.
[4:06] Speaker 2: I read Gordy's quote and Gordy said, there's never been.
[4:09] Speaker 2: I think there's ever been Premiership players that have brought
[4:12] Speaker 2: into a club before. So it's pretty cool.
[4:15] Speaker 3: It's really cool. And someone who would be actually blown
[4:19] Speaker 3: away by it is your great grandfather, my grandfather, Ken.
[4:25] Speaker 3: Always call him Poppy Ken. He left what starters a
[4:32] Speaker 3: feel good thing goes. He actually left my grandmother beautiful,
[4:36] Speaker 3: hooked up with a blonde woman and moved to the
[4:39] Speaker 3: Gold Coast.
[4:40] Speaker 1: But in true gold host fashion exactly.
[4:42] Speaker 3: He was sitting just behind Draculas mate. He just had
[4:44] Speaker 3: it all gone.
[4:45] Speaker 2: He dracon I many months yeah, So what's your point, Matthew,
[4:53] Speaker 2: Why would he be happy?
[4:55] Speaker 3: Because he was a rugby league fanatic and he loved
[4:58] Speaker 3: nothing more than the Gold Coast when they first company
[5:00] Speaker 3: to the competition.
[5:01] Speaker 4: He was when they were there, were they the charges, well.
[5:04] Speaker 3: When they first used the Gold Coast giants that went
[5:06] Speaker 3: to Seagulls have had many incarnations, but in the early days,
[5:10] Speaker 3: he just loved everything about the Gold Coast that had
[5:13] Speaker 3: a side. Even when Joey went up there, we played
[5:15] Speaker 3: him in ninety four and hit Mum and Dad were filthy.
[5:19] Speaker 3: He was sitting in the stands cheering for the Gold Coast.
[5:22] Speaker 3: And so you know, for Pob, for us to have
[5:25] Speaker 3: ownership in the Gold Coast term for him it would
[5:30] Speaker 3: be it'd be tough, sotastic.
[5:32] Speaker 1: Well done. And we were very happy as well because
[5:36] Speaker 1: you for years you've been going to school, he's but
[5:38] Speaker 1: now you can finally tax free, tax deduction and you
[5:43] Speaker 1: can fly and you and Gordi, so that'd be really good.
[5:46] Speaker 3: We be able to buy ourselves the sons O Guns,
[5:48] Speaker 3: out pinned Bin Tang shirt and I reckon. Hopefully we'll
[5:52] Speaker 3: be able to push push that through a bit of
[5:54] Speaker 3: the tax deduction but no, it is really exciting and
[5:58] Speaker 3: and I reckon the most the most important thing for
[6:03] Speaker 3: a club that's like the Gold Coast need to jump
[6:06] Speaker 3: like I'm going to state the obvious here, and it's
[6:08] Speaker 3: very easy to look at the very top and go right,
[6:11] Speaker 3: I've got to buy this guy. I've got to get
[6:12] Speaker 3: this guy in, think about this guy. Make this guy resign.
[6:15] Speaker 3: The most important thing because time goes quick. It's like
[6:18] Speaker 3: when you say to people when was COVID? People go
[6:21] Speaker 3: eighty months ago and you go, no, it's four or
[6:22] Speaker 3: five years. Time goes so quick. And a premiership winning
[6:27] Speaker 3: side sits in the juniors. That's where it sits. And
[6:31] Speaker 3: the Gold Coast have got an amazing junior nursery, They've
[6:35] Speaker 3: got amazing rugby league.
[6:36] Speaker 1: Schools there parts Cur's.
[6:39] Speaker 3: QBRA Park with legendary school has been for thirty or
[6:43] Speaker 3: forty years. You've got to You've got to cultivate your juniors.
[6:46] Speaker 3: It's most important thing. Seventy five twenty five is you
[6:51] Speaker 3: look at Melbourne, Storm's the exception. But if you look
[6:54] Speaker 3: at Dynasties, the Great Green Machine, if you look at
[6:56] Speaker 3: the Manly sides in the nineties, look at the Broncos.
[6:59] Speaker 3: You look at the greatest example is Penrith now right,
[7:03] Speaker 3: and we had a Newcastle premiership win years seventy five
[7:06] Speaker 3: twenty five. Seventy five percent of the squad are out
[7:10] Speaker 3: of the junior system, twenty five are brought in to
[7:13] Speaker 3: compliment the seventy five. That's what it's about and like evidence.
[7:17] Speaker 3: So I've had conversations with Josh Hanne straight away. What
[7:22] Speaker 3: I was really conscious to talk to Josh about is,
[7:24] Speaker 3: you know, I don't want him to think, oh geez,
[7:26] Speaker 3: here we go with sign Maddi and Gordyanh they're going
[7:28] Speaker 3: to be second guests and everything. I said, Oh Josh mate,
[7:32] Speaker 3: anything you need you just called me straight away. But
[7:34] Speaker 3: I won't be touching the NRL. The area I'm going
[7:37] Speaker 3: to dive into is the juniors. And I spoke to
[7:40] Speaker 3: Toddy Carney is up there and Maddy Coating spoke to
[7:42] Speaker 3: those guys and Tomorrow night, Trisha and I as we're
[7:45] Speaker 3: recording this Tomorrow night, we're going up That've got the
[7:47] Speaker 3: future Titans player and parent Night, so we're going to
[7:50] Speaker 3: have a presence there. That's the most important things you
[7:53] Speaker 3: need to cultivate your backyard. It's going to be our focus.
[7:58] Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just looking at the numbers now and our
[8:01] Speaker 2: our forty five percent Queensland audience are going to be
[8:05] Speaker 2: stoked with that.
[8:05] Speaker 4: Man, we have a light.
[8:08] Speaker 1: Well, how good is that.
[8:10] Speaker 3: Making Novocastrians live on the Gold Coast.
[8:13] Speaker 1: Yeah, well it's very similar weather.
[8:15] Speaker 3: You know what I mean. It's about twelve hour drive.
[8:18] Speaker 1: I said weather, very similar weather.
[8:20] Speaker 4: It's not really it's.
[8:21] Speaker 2: Really clearly men and Newcastle during the winter.
[8:23] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what it says, twelve hours apart. If you
[8:25] Speaker 3: think of latitude and longitude, that tells you that the
[8:28] Speaker 3: further you move towards the equator of the warm it is.
[8:30] Speaker 3: So I would actually suggest.
[8:32] Speaker 2: Hang on a second, Yeah, he's right, say further you
[8:36] Speaker 2: live away from that.
[8:37] Speaker 3: Award on that wast on that, on that note, give
[8:47] Speaker 3: us a title of a country song for all the
[8:51] Speaker 3: other members of the family.
[8:53] Speaker 4: This one's my favorite that I thought for you. Matthew. Hello,
[8:57] Speaker 4: it's hard to sleep when you're poking my back.
[9:00] Speaker 1: Oh my god. Very mischievous, trish, very saucy, especially at
[9:05] Speaker 1: the moment.
[9:06] Speaker 4: Okay, this one's for that was the back. Who's a
[9:11] Speaker 4: movie bastard?
[9:12] Speaker 2: Then?
[9:13] Speaker 1: Who's that for?
[9:13] Speaker 2: Jack?
[9:16] Speaker 4: What the hell are you up to? Now?
[9:19] Speaker 1: Who's that for you? Okay?
[9:20] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[9:21] Speaker 1: Yeah? Is that it?
[9:24] Speaker 5: And another one from Matt is I can't leave you
[9:26] Speaker 5: alone for a minute?
[9:27] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[9:28] Speaker 2: Fair, who can't leave who alone? Like? Are we talking?
[9:31] Speaker 3: She's just obsessed with me? Glad start her training wheels.
[9:35] Speaker 1: I'll go, I'll go next, Jack. I did this is
[9:37] Speaker 1: for Jack and I'll explain after why this is his
[9:40] Speaker 1: title heals deals and I do what she feels because
[9:44] Speaker 1: he's heavily on the whip with his gem. Oh my
[9:48] Speaker 1: litt almighty. Seriously, you're you're here?
[9:54] Speaker 3: We listen, we put we put the cup to the
[9:58] Speaker 3: hit the door and listen, did you kids? And it's like, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, Jim.
[10:05] Speaker 1: That sounds very creepy for you to put.
[10:08] Speaker 4: What are you doing?
[10:09] Speaker 2: Jack?
[10:10] Speaker 4: I'm just making Jim something for lunch.
[10:13] Speaker 2: Always always works from you know. Sometimes she's busy, she's
[10:20] Speaker 2: got meetings at midday.
[10:21] Speaker 1: Sorry, it's Jack. I was just going to go down,
[10:25] Speaker 1: going down. Sorry, do you think I can go?
[10:29] Speaker 3: Jack?
[10:29] Speaker 2: Don't German?
[10:31] Speaker 1: No, that's all we hear all the time.
[10:34] Speaker 3: I'm strapped that stop it?
[10:36] Speaker 1: Oh god, Okay, sorry?
[10:39] Speaker 2: Do you rather until when you're closed to the lens.
[10:40] Speaker 2: If you whipped or not. I'm just starting to think
[10:42] Speaker 2: now am I whipped? And maybe I am whipped?
[10:44] Speaker 1: You certainly are your thanks. I'm trying to see your title.
[10:51] Speaker 1: Everyone keeps nice. Rome to rodeo and still the loudest
[10:55] Speaker 1: one out there. That's what I did Rome. Obviously you're
[10:59] Speaker 1: Italian audio.
[11:00] Speaker 4: It's not my best.
[11:03] Speaker 3: Rodeo is perfect because big horse horse.
[11:06] Speaker 4: Yeah, rodeo is like usually love bulls bro Yeah.
[11:10] Speaker 3: Horses, well they have a presence.
[11:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, Matthew, you're a massive countryman yourself. I can imagine
[11:16] Speaker 2: that you've got a real well it's over the rodeo community.
[11:19] Speaker 3: Well, I represent the country in the South Wales in
[11:21] Speaker 3: rugby league.
[11:22] Speaker 1: There's a lot of rodeos up in the Hunter Valley
[11:24] Speaker 1: going on as of late. Like I'm going to get
[11:27] Speaker 1: up and go to one soon to one.
[11:31] Speaker 4: From Lovely.
[11:34] Speaker 2: Go on.
[11:34] Speaker 4: You got it, Latrell, thank you Patrol. But you couldn't
[11:37] Speaker 4: go because yeah, we had this weekend.
[11:41] Speaker 1: It is this weekend. If anyone's up in the there's
[11:44] Speaker 1: Latroll Mitchell. Go to his inter grim to see the
[11:45] Speaker 1: exact details. But it's on the Saturday. He's doing an
[11:48] Speaker 1: intai it's ado.
[11:50] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[11:51] Speaker 1: He wanted us to go out where we bloody couldn't
[11:52] Speaker 1: get up there.
[11:53] Speaker 3: Tear what he rocks a cowboy hat better than most people.
[11:56] Speaker 1: Trail met looks.
[11:57] Speaker 2: GM brands getting strong too. I've seen his clothing brand. Yeah.
[12:02] Speaker 2: I think the farm's called Remara.
[12:04] Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
[12:05] Speaker 2: And then he's been doing for a few years now,
[12:07] Speaker 2: probably since COVID it goes off.
[12:09] Speaker 1: He's got he's got cattle too, apparently excellent meat.
[12:12] Speaker 3: Just let you know, Latrell standard fit medium large, right.
[12:18] Speaker 1: And then matt this is for you the beer, the band,
[12:20] Speaker 1: and the barstool for obvious reasons being what you like
[12:24] Speaker 1: listening to beer, what you like drinking. And then at
[12:25] Speaker 1: the end of the night at the barstool, the only
[12:27] Speaker 1: thing the tanging you.
[12:28] Speaker 3: Are Jackson upside down.
[12:32] Speaker 2: I've gone. I went in depth for you guys, and
[12:34] Speaker 2: it's a work here for yours. Okay, So here, I've
[12:37] Speaker 2: got Matthew, I've got an art. I made an artist,
[12:40] Speaker 2: a fictional artist for you as well. So Matthews one
[12:43] Speaker 2: is called my WiFi don't work, but my wisdom does
[12:47] Speaker 2: love it. By the artist is Matthew the Outback Oracle.
[12:52] Speaker 2: John's so there you go mate it. The next one,
[12:55] Speaker 2: I've gone Trisha. You she ain't country, she's just confused.
[13:00] Speaker 1: That's not bad, that's pretty good.
[13:02] Speaker 2: John's in the back Seat bandits I like it.
[13:06] Speaker 3: Yeah, the doorband, Dirty Dirty, mic And and Cooper.
[13:14] Speaker 2: You don't last, but my bad tattoos do Cooper the
[13:18] Speaker 2: cowboy from Coloroid. John's Oh you better have a tattoo.
[13:20] Speaker 1: I don't have any tattoos. I'm clean skin.
[13:22] Speaker 3: Brother, I can't get one, by the way, anyway, I'm
[13:26] Speaker 3: going to get a line. Mine is Cooper. I've done
[13:31] Speaker 3: a little bit of spin on nine to five, but
[13:32] Speaker 3: Dolly parton five to nine your work hours, Yeah, that's right.
[13:37] Speaker 3: The other one is five to ten and the other one,
[13:42] Speaker 3: the other one is Charlie Rich is behind closed doors
[13:45] Speaker 3: because most time in the house we look over it
[13:47] Speaker 3: and that door is shut. What's happening behind it? I
[13:50] Speaker 3: don't know. Has shaken Stephens says, there's an old piano
[13:54] Speaker 3: and it's playing behind the green door. Your green's not hey,
[13:59] Speaker 3: it's not green, but it's for him. You're doing too much,
[14:01] Speaker 3: so Jack, I've done straight up Elvis Moody Blue. It
[14:07] Speaker 3: made you come with a reputation. Now we're developing one anyway.
[14:10] Speaker 3: And for Trisha it was not. In seventy eight song
[14:12] Speaker 3: by Loretta Lynn and Conboy Twitter, it's called You're the
[14:15] Speaker 3: Reason our kids are so ugly?
[14:20] Speaker 2: Maybe one of them.
[14:20] Speaker 1: That's yeah, what I love. There's a big piece of
[14:23] Speaker 1: spinach in your teeth. I've been looking at it the
[14:26] Speaker 1: whole time. You have are your flosser?
[14:29] Speaker 4: No, he's not.
[14:31] Speaker 2: I've seen him.
[14:33] Speaker 1: You know what I'm talking to dance, Yeah, the floss
[14:36] Speaker 1: because they say flossing is more important than brushing, because
[14:39] Speaker 1: you think about chicken, how quickly chicken goes off. If
[14:41] Speaker 1: you have a piece of chicken sitting there for a
[14:43] Speaker 1: couple of days, you.
[14:44] Speaker 3: Got true think about that. You never thought about that.
[14:46] Speaker 1: And you hate bad breath.
[14:48] Speaker 4: I've got some new pick like they're like Pixels, but
[14:52] Speaker 4: they're a different brand than they're like. They go in
[14:54] Speaker 4: between your teeth and then they've got another sharp end.
[14:56] Speaker 3: They're awesome, exciting.
[14:58] Speaker 1: We'll save that for off air, just before we get
[15:01] Speaker 1: in some personal stories. Halloween. Last week, we had a
[15:03] Speaker 1: great Halloween episode, but there's a couple of good moments
[15:05] Speaker 1: I just wanted to bring up from actual Halloween night.
[15:09] Speaker 1: The first of all, Trish, I brought out my Voldemort
[15:13] Speaker 1: wand and nearly burnt the house down.
[15:16] Speaker 4: Nelly burnt me in my bed alive.
[15:19] Speaker 1: I've got If you haven't seen the video, have a look.
[15:21] Speaker 1: But I've got. I bought this one where you stick
[15:24] Speaker 1: like a paper in it and then you can shoot
[15:25] Speaker 1: it indoors. It's very cool and it's not allowed to
[15:31] Speaker 1: be used indoors, but it usually dissipates before it hits anything.
[15:35] Speaker 1: Is that why you thought it was fortunately your linen pillow?
[15:38] Speaker 3: Comedy overids everything. Just do it. Also, this missed opportunity
[15:43] Speaker 3: when you put it on Instagram, Maybe beds are burning
[15:45] Speaker 3: next time.
[15:46] Speaker 2: I've Comedy overrides everything. I can think of a few
[15:50] Speaker 2: incidences that it probably doesn't common Jack.
[15:53] Speaker 1: But my favorite moment from Halloween the day I had
[15:55] Speaker 1: two great memories. First of all, his dad dressed as
[15:57] Speaker 1: Jeffrey Daarmar before Jack told him off and said it's
[16:01] Speaker 1: not appropriate. He answered the door as Jeffrey Dahmer to
[16:04] Speaker 1: give the kids their lollies, and then Jack brought out
[16:06] Speaker 1: and said, maye probably not an appropriate thing to do.
[16:08] Speaker 1: He then came down as Leam Gallagher, which was a
[16:11] Speaker 1: lot more brand safe. But then I remember, Jack, this, Now,
[16:15] Speaker 1: this is a good insight to things. Once you hit
[16:17] Speaker 1: past eighteen Halloween, probably there are some things about Halloween
[16:21] Speaker 1: you just probably can't say now, Jack John, my dear friend.
[16:25] Speaker 1: I wrote this quote down what I said to me.
[16:27] Speaker 1: He goes, he comes up to me in the early afternoon,
[16:29] Speaker 1: He goes, are there any kids around? We should go
[16:31] Speaker 1: for a bike ride and have a look. And I said,
[16:34] Speaker 1: that is a sentence a twenty eight year old should.
[16:37] Speaker 3: Never say to you. On that note, have a look
[16:46] Speaker 3: at the latest Saturday Night Live in Miles Shower and
[16:49] Speaker 3: what they do whether they have this skit, it's the
[16:51] Speaker 3: best one I've seen for ages Saturday Night Live. They
[16:53] Speaker 3: have like an ice hockey acting like an ice hockey promotion,
[16:58] Speaker 3: and they've got like the New York Rangers, uh, the
[17:01] Speaker 3: other one who is like La Kings, And they've got
[17:04] Speaker 3: the Nashville Predators and Miles Tables and Nashville Predators, and
[17:07] Speaker 3: they go, all right, kids are there going? Hey, my
[17:10] Speaker 3: father was very sick and this game made me feel
[17:14] Speaker 3: like a king, made him feel like a king. And they go.
[17:19] Speaker 3: Then they went the other one about the other Rangers.
[17:22] Speaker 3: The Rangers the Rangers have been so good for my family.
[17:25] Speaker 3: I want to be a Ranger one day. And then
[17:27] Speaker 3: I went to these other kid right, Miles tells and goes, hey,
[17:30] Speaker 3: this predator behind me. He actually changed. He altered by
[17:33] Speaker 3: life forever. And that's how the skin Miles telling kid's
[17:38] Speaker 3: going after the guys going, hey, I don't think this
[17:40] Speaker 3: is that is all the time anyway.
[17:43] Speaker 2: So I can't wait to be a dad where kids
[17:46] Speaker 2: get dressed up Halloween. I think it's cool excuse to
[17:49] Speaker 2: get dressed up. Essed.
[17:52] Speaker 4: He was obsessed, and matt wanted us all to get
[17:54] Speaker 4: back into our costumes that we dressed up in last week,
[17:58] Speaker 4: go down to the Colaroid for lunch, and then go
[18:00] Speaker 4: trick or treat.
[18:01] Speaker 2: Very because it was he wasn't advertising it very well too,
[18:07] Speaker 2: Like he wasn't like that we didn't have We got
[18:10] Speaker 2: all the lollies, but then we forgot to get decorations.
[18:12] Speaker 2: We just don't have many more.
[18:13] Speaker 4: Usually we don't get many kids down here, but this
[18:15] Speaker 4: year there are more. So next year I'll be back on.
[18:17] Speaker 2: But Matthew like realized that, and so he comes to
[18:20] Speaker 2: a brilliant idea of grabbing an orange and basically carving
[18:24] Speaker 2: teeth into the orange and put it on the doorknob.
[18:27] Speaker 2: Once he realized that wasn't doing enough. I watched him
[18:31] Speaker 2: at the front and what he did was he took
[18:34] Speaker 2: his shoelaces out of his rebox shoes and he proceeded
[18:37] Speaker 2: to tie them in knots around the tree.
[18:40] Speaker 4: I saw that, and he's only got one of them now.
[18:43] Speaker 2: He left them out there for like days, and then
[18:45] Speaker 2: we come up from the wedding and Gem actually said,
[18:47] Speaker 2: I think I think that means that you sell drugs out.
[18:51] Speaker 3: Of the house.
[18:51] Speaker 4: Oh, I know that is a joke.
[18:53] Speaker 1: Apparently that's a thing.
[18:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, if there's like shoelaces on a tree out front
[18:59] Speaker 2: of the house, you saw drug.
[19:00] Speaker 1: Like pineapples for swingers?
[19:01] Speaker 3: Really, what's the thing with pineapples?
[19:04] Speaker 1: So on? On cruiser discuss on cruisers mainly, But if
[19:07] Speaker 1: you see someone wearing like a pineapple shirt or some
[19:10] Speaker 1: sort of symbol of a pineapple, it means they're swingers.
[19:14] Speaker 3: Interesting, we had.
[19:21] Speaker 1: I love you just leaving that out.
[19:22] Speaker 3: I'm sony.
[19:24] Speaker 1: So Jack just brought up the wedding. We had our
[19:26] Speaker 1: lovely cousin's wedding up in the Central Coast, and Dad
[19:29] Speaker 1: was Dad was seeing it. Matthew a great job. I
[19:33] Speaker 1: thought he actually did a very good job because we
[19:35] Speaker 1: were we were all getting together leading in saying like
[19:40] Speaker 1: between the wedding ceremony and the reception when Dad had
[19:43] Speaker 1: to start, it was way too long, way too long
[19:45] Speaker 1: for Dad. When he me and him cracked a beer
[19:48] Speaker 1: in the uber on the way up at about one
[19:49] Speaker 1: o'clock and he thought he'd be on straight after. By
[19:52] Speaker 1: the time he was on, like, it was quite rowdy
[19:56] Speaker 1: the atmosphere, Like, I thought what you were and you
[20:01] Speaker 1: forgot your glasses so you couldn't really read your notes
[20:03] Speaker 1: that well.
[20:04] Speaker 3: I was guessing, yeah, that's right, but I.
[20:06] Speaker 4: Thought you did a I couldn't tell the difference.
[20:10] Speaker 3: I don't know what We're surprised first and not with
[20:12] Speaker 3: Maddie John's. Maddie John's been doing this ship for about
[20:15] Speaker 3: twenty years.
[20:20] Speaker 4: Crying yourself up, my family, my family, Uncle John, my sisters. Virginia.
[20:28] Speaker 4: I had to cut her off when we sat down
[20:30] Speaker 4: at the dinner table. She was wild. Virginia, stop water.
[20:36] Speaker 3: Virginia comes across as really conserved.
[20:39] Speaker 4: Is usually in the waking hours.
[20:41] Speaker 3: I always ply a full of drink and make she
[20:43] Speaker 3: turns into a wild woman.
[20:45] Speaker 1: All of your sisters, like Morella, your sister lives up
[20:48] Speaker 1: in Newcastle. One stage. There's a great photo which we
[20:51] Speaker 1: will never disclose, of her just straight arm pouring one
[20:55] Speaker 1: of those mini fibles all over Dad's face.
[20:58] Speaker 4: His eye.
[20:59] Speaker 1: Yeah, it was really made you blind, Like literally the
[21:03] Speaker 1: Bibles that strong would have been burning that cinnamon.
[21:06] Speaker 2: Yeah. What about Uncle John? Uncle John was online?
[21:09] Speaker 4: So Johnny like it was his birthday.
[21:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, seventy. It looks phenomenal for seventy. But we were
[21:16] Speaker 2: talking about we're talking about him last week leading into
[21:18] Speaker 2: the wedding, and he did not disappoint I'll tell you what.
[21:21] Speaker 2: If you saw my Instagram. I put up a bit
[21:23] Speaker 2: of footage of him mid yarn with me telling me
[21:26] Speaker 2: that he's the oh negative negative, which is the rarest
[21:31] Speaker 2: blood type in the world. But jeez, he was proud
[21:33] Speaker 2: because I was going really really and he's going yep, yep,
[21:36] Speaker 2: I can give blood to anyone. But I said, wow,
[21:38] Speaker 2: so you're the rarest blood type in the world and
[21:40] Speaker 2: he goes put him.
[21:42] Speaker 3: Mildly yet first same conversation, I happy birthday, Johnny goes hey, Matt,
[21:49] Speaker 3: I'll get the rest one of the rarest blood typs.
[21:52] Speaker 3: I could give you blood, but I can't take yours.
[21:56] Speaker 4: That's no good news for you.
[21:58] Speaker 3: John.
[21:58] Speaker 1: I got a complaint from some It's not so it was,
[22:01] Speaker 1: but they said, oh, you know, your uncle John's getting
[22:05] Speaker 1: a bit creepy over there. And he said, this is
[22:09] Speaker 1: his quote to it.
[22:09] Speaker 3: He said it to a couple, like.
[22:11] Speaker 1: A man and a woman. He goes, you know what,
[22:13] Speaker 1: He goes, you know what they say about big noses, right,
[22:17] Speaker 1: And John singles so and they go what and he
[22:20] Speaker 1: said you know and they went oh, right, and then
[22:23] Speaker 1: he goes, yeah, and then he looked at the part
[22:25] Speaker 1: like the blokes in the relationships Nos, and he goes
[22:28] Speaker 1: and mine's about double the size of your. And then
[22:33] Speaker 1: they come up to me. He says, you know, I
[22:35] Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know whether he was like trying
[22:38] Speaker 1: to like undermine me in front of my flight. I said, Dad,
[22:40] Speaker 1: he's just like that.
[22:41] Speaker 2: I don't.
[22:45] Speaker 3: To the duties coup given the fact that we were
[22:48] Speaker 3: attacked by a horse.
[22:49] Speaker 1: Yeah, so there was. It was on a farm in Somersby, right, and.
[22:53] Speaker 2: This beautiful stable cooper Stable is it stable?
[22:57] Speaker 3: Well, it's called the stable.
[22:58] Speaker 1: Atmosphere it was at the start. It was until this
[23:02] Speaker 1: bloody horse got loose. Dad. Me and Dad were over
[23:04] Speaker 1: patting his horse. Beautiful horse, but it didn't take a
[23:07] Speaker 1: liking to Dad because Dad kept like Dad was sledging.
[23:10] Speaker 1: It had a few beers and Dad's going have a
[23:13] Speaker 1: look at and then I think the horse picked up
[23:15] Speaker 1: his vibe and then it bit Dad's suit on his elbow,
[23:18] Speaker 1: and then Dad was going, let go. He's gone, let
[23:22] Speaker 1: go of me, Let go. And then there was I've
[23:24] Speaker 1: got a video of it and one stage Dad's right
[23:26] Speaker 1: and its Fate's going let go of me on the MC,
[23:30] Speaker 1: Let go of me on the bloody MC.
[23:32] Speaker 3: And it was like it had a sixth sense that
[23:34] Speaker 3: like it was like part of the joke and which
[23:35] Speaker 3: wouldn't like it was actually biting.
[23:38] Speaker 4: It was like thirty seconds it held on to you
[23:40] Speaker 4: and it had really dirty teeth.
[23:41] Speaker 3: Yell, what hell triced too, Copper exactly, I'll show you
[23:46] Speaker 3: after the bite.
[23:47] Speaker 1: Yeah, you have you have been and you're in the
[23:49] Speaker 1: form of life of the moment. I will say in
[23:52] Speaker 1: terms of physically.
[23:53] Speaker 3: Well, physically well trished week through the week, went and
[23:57] Speaker 3: got my heart test is.
[24:02] Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a weird, so just before we went
[24:05] Speaker 4: in there, I said to him, you know, you know
[24:07] Speaker 4: the reason I came along with you, And you went, no, why,
[24:10] Speaker 4: I said, because you hear these stories all the time
[24:11] Speaker 4: of people that go and have them and they go
[24:13] Speaker 4: sit down, sir, like you need to go straight to
[24:15] Speaker 4: the hospital. Well it was at the hospital, so he
[24:18] Speaker 4: was there.
[24:20] Speaker 5: So anyway, we go into the room and there is
[24:22] Speaker 5: the radiologists and the nurse and Matt Bradley.
[24:27] Speaker 4: Yeah, Tush wanted to come along today because she was
[24:29] Speaker 4: worried that, you know, you might get bad news and
[24:32] Speaker 4: so she could be here. And then he proceeds to
[24:34] Speaker 4: take his shirt off, and I sort of said.
[24:37] Speaker 1: The doctor.
[24:40] Speaker 4: Just started. I said, actually, Matthew, this is exactly why
[24:43] Speaker 4: I come just watching these women just don't put their
[24:47] Speaker 4: hands all over you.
[24:48] Speaker 3: I said, what can I say? I've got the body
[24:52] Speaker 3: that men fear and women love. And they laughed.
[24:54] Speaker 2: They laughed, but they laughed they laughed at you.
[24:59] Speaker 3: And afterwards, I've got to say this people, Now, the
[25:02] Speaker 3: blokes listening to this, will you will concur and you'll
[25:06] Speaker 3: relate to this you gave the doctors and they'll say,
[25:09] Speaker 3: how many standard drinks do you have?
[25:12] Speaker 1: I brought this up. Remember I brought this up earlier
[25:13] Speaker 1: than you, and I how many schooners I had, and
[25:17] Speaker 1: he like nearly fell off his chair.
[25:19] Speaker 4: Well, i'll say something.
[25:21] Speaker 3: I've just given up lying. And so the doctor, by
[25:24] Speaker 3: the way, champion Blake, champion bloke. He was like, how
[25:28] Speaker 3: many times a week do you drink, Maddie? And I said,
[25:32] Speaker 3: probably three times, but two times it's very mild, just
[25:35] Speaker 3: a couple and once a week. I really have a
[25:38] Speaker 3: decent dig. And he was like, oh yeah, he goes,
[25:41] Speaker 3: I have a decent dig as well. Once a week.
[25:43] Speaker 3: I went, what's your doc? When you lash out? He goes,
[25:47] Speaker 3: He goes, I have like four glasses of wine. He goes,
[25:51] Speaker 3: that's joke.
[25:52] Speaker 1: And I drawed over, don't say that.
[25:55] Speaker 3: You probably okay, And he goes on, Maddie, what would
[25:59] Speaker 3: you have? And I looked at him and smirked, and
[26:02] Speaker 3: I said, at least twenty It was just silence. He
[26:07] Speaker 3: just sat there and you looked at me, and he goes,
[26:10] Speaker 3: so I said at least twenty. And I said, I'm
[26:14] Speaker 3: probably being conservative. I said when I have a really
[26:17] Speaker 3: big dig, I said, mate I and he goes, oh right,
[26:21] Speaker 3: oh yeah, right, oh well, you know, Matt, what they
[26:30] Speaker 3: and he tried to put a positive spin. You know,
[26:33] Speaker 3: in France, what they say is is that you know
[26:37] Speaker 3: you can have like five glasses of red and that
[26:41] Speaker 3: he's standard. I went, okay, I said, do you speak
[26:44] Speaker 3: French like doctors?
[26:50] Speaker 1: The two people you shouldn't lie about drinking, like security
[26:52] Speaker 1: guards and doctors. But they're the two who will treat
[26:55] Speaker 1: if you tell them the truth. Then they make you
[26:57] Speaker 1: feel bad for it. I remember our doctor shout out
[27:00] Speaker 1: to the chan Man, Jason chan used to be our
[27:03] Speaker 1: Melbourne Storms doctor, but they he used to say the
[27:06] Speaker 1: same thing. You go, if anyone's drinking more than six,
[27:09] Speaker 1: like it's been drinking and it's bad part of six.
[27:12] Speaker 1: But six is like and I think ninety percent of
[27:14] Speaker 1: people listening to this podcast probably say the same thing,
[27:17] Speaker 1: like six is a very.
[27:19] Speaker 2: Let's not put words in our audience's mouth. Sorry, you
[27:22] Speaker 2: might get some real.
[27:23] Speaker 3: Backlashes putting it into the mouths of the doctors. Guys,
[27:27] Speaker 3: be better readdress what like how many standard drinks you
[27:30] Speaker 3: can have? In my opinion saying the blokes, hey listen,
[27:34] Speaker 3: have nine standard drinks?
[27:35] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[27:36] Speaker 1: Because I remember the fifth Man when I bring up
[27:38] Speaker 1: the security guards before Finny Heath, the fifth Master who
[27:41] Speaker 1: I brought up.
[27:41] Speaker 3: A few stories bout him, one of the slabby dunks.
[27:44] Speaker 2: But when we related to j and Braley.
[27:47] Speaker 3: Yeah, cousins other.
[27:49] Speaker 1: But I remember when we first started going out when
[27:52] Speaker 1: we were eighteen, Like Finns the kind of bloke who
[27:55] Speaker 1: you know when you get up this, if you're young
[27:57] Speaker 1: and you've had a few schooners, you always lie to
[27:59] Speaker 1: the bounces because they if you say what you've really had,
[28:01] Speaker 1: they won't let you in.
[28:02] Speaker 3: Yep.
[28:03] Speaker 1: And but Finn has just a little chip on his
[28:05] Speaker 1: shoulder where he almost wears how much he drinks as
[28:08] Speaker 1: a badge of honor. And he were trying to get
[28:10] Speaker 1: into the North Staying hotel and where how many you had?
[28:13] Speaker 2: Mate?
[28:13] Speaker 1: I've had four? And we had I had, you know,
[28:15] Speaker 1: three two beers? Yes, sweet sweet gets to Finn. He's
[28:18] Speaker 1: the last one in there, and Finn's like stumbling and
[28:20] Speaker 1: he goes, mate, how many you had? And he goes,
[28:22] Speaker 1: what was that? And I said, oh, just not like
[28:23] Speaker 1: that's just the question we asked and he goes, probably
[28:26] Speaker 1: had about fourteen. And the Judi guard and we're sitting
[28:29] Speaker 1: there and going Finn and JUDI guard goes, well, I'm
[28:31] Speaker 1: not letting you in, and he goes, what he said,
[28:32] Speaker 1: because you've had fourteen stands to drinks like you'd like
[28:36] Speaker 1: got responsible as alcohol. And he was like, is that
[28:39] Speaker 1: a lot? And then he was looking at it and
[28:40] Speaker 1: then he started yelling at USCO and decided he was like, boys,
[28:42] Speaker 1: this security guard thinks that's a lot.
[28:45] Speaker 3: Bragging. There was I'm not going to say where where
[28:49] Speaker 3: the city is or the suburb, but there's a placetriction
[28:53] Speaker 3: noise to get to quite a bit. And there was
[28:55] Speaker 3: a bloke who always operated at the front door and
[28:58] Speaker 3: made he was a champion and he was like old school.
[29:01] Speaker 3: So once I walked up and he goes, there you go, Maddie,
[29:05] Speaker 3: I went, not bad chucking boy, and he goes, how
[29:09] Speaker 3: many you reckon your head? I went, fuck somewhere in
[29:13] Speaker 3: between one thousand and three thousand. He goes, looks like
[29:18] Speaker 3: close to three thousand in your gar.
[29:22] Speaker 1: That's turning of the tables. Hey, true, back on the
[29:24] Speaker 1: wedding before we move off. What were you at the
[29:26] Speaker 1: end of this ever? Who knows? People try to catch
[29:28] Speaker 1: the bouquet at end of the wedding. It's good luck
[29:30] Speaker 1: to get married next. What the hell were you doing
[29:33] Speaker 1: in there, rummaging around trying to get the bouquet?
[29:36] Speaker 4: You know, I love games and competitions, so I was
[29:38] Speaker 4: trying to catch it to then donate it to someone
[29:40] Speaker 4: who looked needy.
[29:41] Speaker 1: Doesn't work.
[29:43] Speaker 3: It doesn't want that. You're going to get married again
[29:47] Speaker 3: with the fate.
[29:48] Speaker 1: Thing they still did do They still throw the bouquet
[29:52] Speaker 1: at most weddings.
[29:53] Speaker 3: Because remember the one they used to have with the
[29:56] Speaker 3: man they had the garter used to go and they
[29:58] Speaker 3: used to take the garter off the inn side, leg, off.
[30:01] Speaker 2: The high thigh, what of the lady.
[30:05] Speaker 3: Bride sit there, and they'd lower it with them, throw
[30:08] Speaker 3: it sometimes with their by their mouse like the groom would,
[30:11] Speaker 3: and then he'd throw it, and then the groom pretty
[30:14] Speaker 3: scammer to get it. Scammer to get it. You're hopefully
[30:18] Speaker 3: just meaning that you're the next, but who knows what
[30:21] Speaker 3: they did with it?
[30:22] Speaker 2: Sounds like a season prout season.
[30:25] Speaker 3: I'm just going to get a little back, That's what
[30:28] Speaker 3: I was like, What are you doing?
[30:29] Speaker 1: You were standing out of your seat.
[30:31] Speaker 4: You take a quick to talk about it. He's just
[30:35] Speaker 4: bagging while he's out of the room.
[30:36] Speaker 3: It'll be quick.
[30:37] Speaker 2: Anyways, the bladder of a kitten, it really does.
[30:40] Speaker 1: What about on the drive up?
[30:42] Speaker 2: Drive up?
[30:44] Speaker 4: Tell me? Because I was already out at the venue.
[30:48] Speaker 1: To the wedding. He goes, obviously like, look from us,
[30:51] Speaker 1: it's an hour trip. You should be able to get
[30:54] Speaker 1: there with not having to pants. But Dad goes. Me
[30:58] Speaker 1: and Dad are sit in the back seat, and we
[30:59] Speaker 1: were doing this thing where we'd play song for song,
[31:02] Speaker 1: and in radio you throw out of a song and
[31:04] Speaker 1: then we throw to the I would throw to Dad
[31:06] Speaker 1: as another radioherst and he'd throw into the song. So
[31:08] Speaker 1: I'd be like, right, oh, that was Adobe Gray, drift
[31:11] Speaker 1: away over to you, Matthew down now in Melbourne studio,
[31:13] Speaker 1: and he'd pick up and throw it. And it was
[31:15] Speaker 1: always You'd always say it was always twenty away, because
[31:18] Speaker 1: on radio it's always twenty eight. Anyway, Dad starts like,
[31:21] Speaker 1: he starts get antsy, and then he starts making this
[31:23] Speaker 1: big thing going, I'm going to be cast sick. I'm
[31:25] Speaker 1: going to be castick telling the driver to pull out.
[31:27] Speaker 1: I'm going to be casting to be a.
[31:29] Speaker 3: Liar to drive.
[31:30] Speaker 2: Hey, mate's all right, he's big. Fella's feeling a bit ill.
[31:32] Speaker 2: Can we just pull out of the side of the road,
[31:34] Speaker 2: just give him a second, have a breather, and then.
[31:35] Speaker 1: He gets out and pete and just has a a squirt.
[31:38] Speaker 1: But the best part was the driver pulled in a
[31:41] Speaker 1: place where it wasn't like it was almost like he
[31:44] Speaker 1: pulled onto like almost a median.
[31:45] Speaker 2: Strip, you know, one where you go up and they
[31:47] Speaker 2: have all the cameras everywhere. There's like the one that
[31:49] Speaker 2: it take to text all the trucks to make sure
[31:51] Speaker 2: they're balanced.
[31:52] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, the way stae all over.
[31:54] Speaker 2: Yeah, the way station. You pull up there right in
[31:56] Speaker 2: front of like three four, maybe fifteen cameras, like yeah, and.
[31:59] Speaker 1: You and me and Jack had to stand either side
[32:02] Speaker 1: of him. Jack had poured an umbrella out with him
[32:04] Speaker 1: and covered because there was like we were in the middle,
[32:07] Speaker 1: like we weren't there. There was like people coming either side,
[32:10] Speaker 1: and then Dad just urinated in between them.
[32:12] Speaker 4: And what was the name of that song? I can't
[32:14] Speaker 4: leave you alone for a minute?
[32:15] Speaker 3: Well serious, I've got one for you. The other day
[32:17] Speaker 3: I had a few.
[32:18] Speaker 2: You know, get that quick, and you actually probably took
[32:22] Speaker 2: maybe three minutes to get it all out.
[32:24] Speaker 3: I just kept coming and coming. It was unbelievable. Please,
[32:28] Speaker 3: and you're half squatting. So it was bad because I
[32:31] Speaker 3: was trying to kiss the driver. I was pretending that
[32:36] Speaker 3: I was almost like checking the pressure of his tire.
[32:41] Speaker 3: I was trying to do a good deal, but I
[32:42] Speaker 3: thought I just thought. I just went in there and
[32:45] Speaker 3: used Jack and Jem's toilet. I've got a confession to make.
[32:51] Speaker 3: About three weeks I forgot about this. I was hunting
[32:54] Speaker 3: by myself. I had a few drinks, and I thought
[32:55] Speaker 3: it'd be funny if I came down and did a
[32:58] Speaker 3: reverse ship, you know one where you actually sit opposite
[33:02] Speaker 3: way on the tool and you drop it and it
[33:05] Speaker 3: just sits on the ball. Because I thought so, I thought,
[33:11] Speaker 3: when Jack gets home and he goes into the tour'll
[33:15] Speaker 3: just be sitting there. And I went up there and
[33:17] Speaker 3: I was just sitting there, and then I had a
[33:18] Speaker 3: moment of clarity and they just came back down and flush.
[33:21] Speaker 3: It's so hard to flush.
[33:23] Speaker 1: You can't That's why that's why you do a reverse
[33:26] Speaker 1: because the water doesn't.
[33:27] Speaker 3: Come up the front. I had to backhand it into
[33:33] Speaker 3: don't freestyling. And then the bloody scrubbing brush you bought
[33:38] Speaker 3: the plastic one which rubber hope the hopeless or.
[33:42] Speaker 1: That's like it's like it's like it's like having paper.
[33:46] Speaker 4: Straws rubber like a rubber silicon. What you need to
[33:50] Speaker 4: do with them? The secret is you use them immediately,
[33:53] Speaker 4: don't leave you mess their treasure.
[33:56] Speaker 3: Using immediately to scrab it for five minutes, get it off.
[33:59] Speaker 3: So I'm scrubbing. It's just making no impact, So bager me.
[34:02] Speaker 3: Don't judge with people. I had to get toilet paper,
[34:06] Speaker 3: put it in my right hand and subscribe it club.
[34:08] Speaker 3: I've had to do things I do for you and Jim.
[34:10] Speaker 3: Can we change topic please?
[34:11] Speaker 2: Gross?
[34:13] Speaker 3: Oh well, hey people in glasshouses, sister.
[34:16] Speaker 1: And I'll say, look, it's fine if Jack's If Jack's
[34:18] Speaker 1: living here on his own, that's fine. But he's he's beautiful, lovely,
[34:23] Speaker 1: he's beautiful partner, see now, and she deserves better than
[34:26] Speaker 1: her father in law doing that ship.
[34:28] Speaker 3: When he walked in and saw it there, I was
[34:31] Speaker 3: going to burst in and just go, welcome to the family.
[34:34] Speaker 2: That can I can I change? Can I take it
[34:37] Speaker 2: to our quiz? Yeah? Now tonight we are going to oasis.
[34:42] Speaker 4: Yeah, so excited, And I thought.
[34:44] Speaker 2: To myself, perfect time to find out after years of
[34:49] Speaker 2: educating his Matthew, who is the ultimate quiz master of Oasis.
[34:52] Speaker 4: To the family, It'll be him.
[34:54] Speaker 2: So I thought I'd take a leaf out your SCN
[34:56] Speaker 2: playbook color and what I'm going to do is I'm
[34:58] Speaker 2: gonna do a quiz where I'll go through each of
[35:00] Speaker 2: you individually. You got three questions each, and you're if
[35:04] Speaker 2: someone can't get it, whoever buzzes in can steal the question.
[35:07] Speaker 3: Love it, Jack. We had this conversation before I've passed
[35:11] Speaker 3: through the eye of the middle with Oasis. I've always

[35:21] Speaker 3: become mate.
[35:23] Speaker 4: We saw them first at the end More Theater.

[36:13] Speaker 1: I just want to say, I remember I saw Pete

[37:22] Speaker 2: I can already picture the man, the man that.
[37:24] Speaker 3: Was Oasis and then food fighters were off off the top.
[37:28] Speaker 3: Now we walk in to the hotel. Trish goes, oh
[37:31] Speaker 3: my god, look he's at the bar. I look over
[37:33] Speaker 3: and Zach Starkey whose Ringo star Son, who was drumming

[37:48] Speaker 1: I'll stop. I'll save your find Trish. He's probably rehearsed
[37:51] Speaker 1: this story and he's had a thousand times. Just let
[37:53] Speaker 1: him tell us, just let me do it.
[37:53] Speaker 4: Otherwise he does want to sound like a super groovy.
[37:56] Speaker 3: No no, no, I'm being the ultimate super groovy because

[38:44] Speaker 3: pulls up a chair next to me and Trish and
[38:46] Speaker 3: scabs to see where off trash and starts to chat.

[39:38] Speaker 1: hit number eight.
[39:38] Speaker 2: I thought, yeah, we get it.
[39:40] Speaker 3: But when you do it, when you're doing that manc accent,

[45:53] Speaker 3: was their time to get kicked, they all turned on Oasis.
[45:57] Speaker 3: What didn't help? They did that tour of Australia and
[45:59] Speaker 3: they got thrown off Cathay Pacific alignment.
[46:02] Speaker 1: They got tossed off and I wish I got tossed off.
[46:09] Speaker 3: And I remember their first place I went to was
[46:12] Speaker 3: Perth and Liam Gallagher head butted some fan. They interviewed
[46:17] Speaker 3: the fan. He was a man as well. He goes,
[46:19] Speaker 3: how do I stand there like a Liam? And he
[46:21] Speaker 3: comes home and goes, don't mate and just head butted me.
[46:24] Speaker 3: And then the interviewed and said will you throwing off

[46:34] Speaker 1: the chase to where they get the answer and then
[46:36] Speaker 1: they just give this long window.
