[0:00] Speaker 1: Can you tell Dad about So that night that we
[0:02] Speaker 1: had in Melbourne the next the next night after because
[0:05] Speaker 1: I was staying at my old housemates Harry, Harry Grant
[0:07] Speaker 1: and Tyron, we we had such a fun night together
[0:10] Speaker 1: that then we FaceTime the next night and I introduced
[0:13] Speaker 1: you to Tyrone and Harry and you and Luckie not
[0:15] Speaker 1: really being rugby league people sort of. They were about
[0:19] Speaker 1: to play the next day, and the small talk and
[0:21] Speaker 1: questions that you were asking Harry Grant was so roe.
[0:24] Speaker 2: I was going to Harry, I was going, so, what's
[0:27] Speaker 2: your like car bloating like before a game?
[0:29] Speaker 3: And you know, what's your favorite protein Melbourne?
[0:31] Speaker 2: He's like, oh, but I'm really into recent and the
[0:34] Speaker 2: Cooper's going, can you like cut these out low? I
[0:37] Speaker 2: was like, so do you do you eat like three
[0:38] Speaker 2: or four hours before or you know what's to.
[0:40] Speaker 3: Go with this?
[0:41] Speaker 4: Asking all his dietary requirement.
[0:43] Speaker 3: It's true though, like I'd have no idea.
[0:44] Speaker 2: You know, I think you'd need a banana and a
[0:47] Speaker 2: bloody protein, but probably.
[0:48] Speaker 4: Not so much when I was when I first come
[0:51] Speaker 4: to grade in nine and eighty nine. Fuck that the
[0:56] Speaker 4: big thing was their big thing was so I've gone
[0:59] Speaker 4: through the whole tree, whole transition, so it was protein.
[1:02] Speaker 4: Back then it was like steak and eggs, full games,
[1:05] Speaker 4: stuff like that. Then all of a sudden they went, oh, no, no,
[1:07] Speaker 4: you don't do that, mate. If you want to get
[1:09] Speaker 4: fit and ripped and be red plate mate, just to
[1:12] Speaker 4: pasta every minute, it has to become a real big thing.
[1:16] Speaker 4: And then around the two thousands they just went the
[1:18] Speaker 4: other way. They just went, no, no, we've made a
[1:20] Speaker 4: mistake here. You can't load on carbs, can't retain them,
[1:24] Speaker 4: just you can have cards. We're just having a couple
[1:26] Speaker 4: of hours full the game.
[1:28] Speaker 2: Wouldn't you get the stitch if you had a big
[1:30] Speaker 2: pass to me and then you're running for two hours?
[1:32] Speaker 4: Yeah? Possibly, But do you know what My theory is,
[1:35] Speaker 4: not much of it.
[1:35] Speaker 2: I don't do much running anymore.
[1:41] Speaker 1: My theory is because they go through so many fads
[1:43] Speaker 1: of like Carnival diet, and then after two years of
[1:46] Speaker 1: doing just that, you become defishing and other things.
[1:49] Speaker 4: So then you have to adjust.
[1:51] Speaker 2: Your diet healthy balance. Yeah, there's nothing I don't eat.
[1:54] Speaker 2: The only thing I don't like is hard. Sorry, running
[1:57] Speaker 2: yolk so I'll order my eggs was hard?
[2:01] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, But.
[2:02] Speaker 2: Then I'll have like beef tartia, like when it's all
[2:05] Speaker 2: mixed up, which is y cafe.
[2:07] Speaker 4: On the same. I love hot chips. I absolutely find
[2:10] Speaker 4: roast potatoes darling, but mashed potato. Potato must be the texture.
[2:18] Speaker 4: It's a texture.
[2:18] Speaker 3: Do you like bananas?
[2:21] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[2:21] Speaker 1: He usually he doesn't chew them after freezing them.
[2:27] Speaker 4: Call it some people call it eating. I call it practice.
[2:35] Speaker 1: I saw you know, you know Happy Allen, the guy
[2:39] Speaker 1: we met it at live golf. I was telling you
[2:42] Speaker 1: the little guy who dressed who I went on his
[2:44] Speaker 1: show up and the GOLDI just up his red Wagan.
[2:46] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah him, he's small and higher man.
[2:49] Speaker 4: He did a video the other day.
[2:50] Speaker 1: He was just eating dumplings whole like, wouldn't chew them.
[2:53] Speaker 3: He's just just swallowing them.
[2:55] Speaker 4: And you could see.
[2:56] Speaker 1: Yeah, he ended up spewing them all.
[2:57] Speaker 3: Back up so you choke and it wouldn't it get
[2:59] Speaker 3: stuck in your forget.
[3:00] Speaker 4: That's what I thought.
[3:01] Speaker 1: He did fifteen Cool Hand Luke, he did fifteen without chewing.
[3:05] Speaker 4: You never seen the movie Cool Hand Luke? The great
[3:07] Speaker 4: movies all the time. Paul Newman, he has about I
[3:10] Speaker 4: think about sixty Hard pol Man. Yeah, one of the
[3:12] Speaker 4: greatest actors of all time.
[3:14] Speaker 3: I'm thinking of the source.
[3:16] Speaker 4: That's him. He was a race car driver and he
[3:18] Speaker 4: came out with it. He made most of his money
[3:20] Speaker 4: out of Pastor Saurce.
[3:21] Speaker 3: I love that.
[3:22] Speaker 4: So great actor, one of the greatest actors of all time.
[3:25] Speaker 5: So charismatics dressing as well, Yeah, Ranch, Ranch dressing.
[3:29] Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a really good movie. I recommend this to
[3:32] Speaker 4: people you haven't seen. It's Paul Newman and Tom Cruise,
[3:34] Speaker 4: one of Tom cruise earlier roles. It's called The Color
[3:37] Speaker 4: of Money. Oh, that's a good one. It is insane.
[3:40] Speaker 4: Paul Newman is his old school pool shark. Yeah. Anyway,
[3:45] Speaker 4: he takes Tom Cruise on his like his appraise. It
[3:49] Speaker 4: is so good. Some of the coolest scenes ever see,
[3:52] Speaker 4: one of which is Tom Cruise, his character. He's got
[3:55] Speaker 4: the bull fight of the Italian book Fine and everything. Anyway,
[3:58] Speaker 4: he's playing pool and he's swirling it around like a
[4:01] Speaker 4: like a like almost like a samurai. You're playing and
[4:05] Speaker 4: he's seeing it at the same time were Wolves of
[4:07] Speaker 4: London and playing pool, swinging around like a weapon, and
[4:13] Speaker 4: it is just.
[4:14] Speaker 2: Being good at Paul I reckon as a you know,
[4:17] Speaker 2: like going to the park and just being like come down,
[4:19] Speaker 2: like I try, I'm getting bitter, but I'm not great.
[4:23] Speaker 4: It's very much mckisma. It is cool.
[4:25] Speaker 1: I'd love to be like a freak dart player because
[4:29] Speaker 1: I look at I want to go over to England
[4:31] Speaker 1: and go to the live darts. Have you seen the
[4:32] Speaker 1: darts events? So they do like the dart they're huge.
[4:36] Speaker 1: Like the biggest dart player his name is Luke Littler.
[4:39] Speaker 1: He's he's got like millions of followers.
[4:41] Speaker 3: Like it's just literally.
[4:46] Speaker 4: But it's massive in the UK.
[4:47] Speaker 1: It's so big and they do full like walkouts, so
[4:50] Speaker 1: like boxing, we got it. But you look at if
[4:54] Speaker 1: you We'll go on YouTube office and show you literally
[4:57] Speaker 1: you walk out and everybody in the thing is like
[5:00] Speaker 1: singing their song and they're all dressed up in like
[5:01] Speaker 1: like it's a mad Monday costume. It looks it's like
[5:03] Speaker 1: one of the greatest events. Everyone's blind.
[5:05] Speaker 3: You'd have one strong arm, wouldn't you.
[5:08] Speaker 1: Yeah, it'd be like you know.
[5:11] Speaker 3: Hand, Yeah, I would literally just be doing that.
[5:14] Speaker 4: Maybe I should take it up, but.
[5:17] Speaker 3: Yeah, but like it would just be because one.
[5:23] Speaker 1: Movement would just be yeah, one arm is one and his.
[5:26] Speaker 3: Man Cave and Walker, and I was getting better at Paul,
[5:29] Speaker 3: but darts not for me. But he would say, you
[5:31] Speaker 3: stand kind of on.
[5:32] Speaker 2: The side and it's a very small like if you
[5:34] Speaker 2: need to keep that stiddy, whereas I was just going
[5:37] Speaker 2: like launching it, but then it was going down.
[5:40] Speaker 4: I don't know if they get drug tested shooters do,
[5:42] Speaker 4: because they take better blockers. If you're in it, Yeah,
[5:45] Speaker 4: it stops you, stops you from shaking. Yeah, you can.
[5:48] Speaker 3: Actually people take those before they go on stage.
[5:51] Speaker 4: Do they Yeah, to calm themselves.
[5:53] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[5:53] Speaker 3: It's like if you're doing like a big public speaking thing,
[5:55] Speaker 3: you take be to block.
[5:56] Speaker 4: I get a hard test once and they put the
[5:59] Speaker 4: ink through veins. Take one before that. You literally sit
[6:02] Speaker 4: there and that relaxed. You can actually feel your heart
[6:04] Speaker 4: just going boom, yeah, boom.
[6:08] Speaker 1: I was at the Easter Show during the week and
[6:09] Speaker 1: I had to present the winner of the World Champion
[6:11] Speaker 1: wood chopping.
[6:12] Speaker 4: They were like special guests, Cubid John's present and that
[6:14] Speaker 4: you can world champion, World Champion. There was USA New Zealand.
[6:18] Speaker 1: They were like, no one knew who the hell I
[6:20] Speaker 1: was in this woodchop, Like I'm clearly not in their demography,
[6:23] Speaker 1: who is this loser? Anyway, I had to present them
[6:25] Speaker 1: with the sash, like you put a sash over them,
[6:28] Speaker 1: and the guy who won like to go. They drug
[6:31] Speaker 1: test them the wood chopping at the east shirt like
[6:36] Speaker 1: you've got to be strong. They were big lumberjacks, all.
[6:40] Speaker 2: So scary, like they wearing steel cap boots. They wear
[6:44] Speaker 2: because imagine that going through your foot I did.
[6:46] Speaker 4: Two years ago. Remember that slipped out of my hand
[6:49] Speaker 4: and literally shot like twenty meters left, so they'll cut
[6:53] Speaker 4: your little nick had where to hit, So you wear
[6:56] Speaker 4: like you know she they wear that like chain mail
[6:59] Speaker 4: medivil time for days over your legs. Yeah, anywhere I'm
[7:02] Speaker 4: going bang anyway. That the piece of wood was a
[7:04] Speaker 4: little sort of slippery and I hit it a certain
[7:06] Speaker 4: way and it just went bang and it flung. Yea,
[7:09] Speaker 4: it would have about fifteen twenty meters left. If there
[7:11] Speaker 4: was anyone there, would have killed them, would have cut
[7:13] Speaker 4: them in half. I wonder if.
[7:18] Speaker 5: YouTube and such it would have been great, have been
[7:21] Speaker 5: great for great for Justin Bieber coach.
[7:24] Speaker 1: It would have been a sacrifice for content. But I
[7:27] Speaker 1: wonder if you go to jail for that? Was that considered?
[7:32] Speaker 4: Yeah?
[7:33] Speaker 1: That seems kind of harsh for you to go to
[7:34] Speaker 1: jail for that, though I can't know you to capitate someone.
[7:38] Speaker 2: But but then it's like you were doing an out
[7:41] Speaker 2: of your own Yeah, I.
[7:43] Speaker 4: Think someone would take Maybe it's someone who left that
[7:46] Speaker 4: we had to sign waivers. Yeah, I think I would
[7:49] Speaker 4: go to your I mean, I don't want to go
[7:51] Speaker 4: to jail. I don't want to go the pokey.
[7:53] Speaker 1: You wouldn't go, Yeah, the burghe was enough of.
[7:55] Speaker 4: You actually popsicles.
[7:59] Speaker 2: It's so I think waivers is a bit scary, isn't
[8:01] Speaker 2: it Like you're doing something adrenaline Like we did them
[8:05] Speaker 2: the race car driving and read ball took us around
[8:09] Speaker 2: and I closed my eyes the entire way and you
[8:11] Speaker 2: can hear me screaming over the cart like I was
[8:14] Speaker 2: that loud.
[8:14] Speaker 3: I'm going a lot of my kids just bobbing like
[8:16] Speaker 3: the but I was like, I'm signing my life way
[8:19] Speaker 3: to go straight into a ball here.
[8:20] Speaker 4: I reckon.
[8:21] Speaker 1: They enjoy that side of like you know, like you know,
[8:23] Speaker 1: we are not a risk if you die, Like.
[8:25] Speaker 4: They just enjoy that fit.
[8:27] Speaker 1: It's like what like they I think they enjoy having
[8:30] Speaker 1: that fear factor?
[8:30] Speaker 4: Do you reckon? Maths like meritor Field soon, I reckon
[8:33] Speaker 4: they must sign waivers before they go on. Yeah, it
[8:38] Speaker 4: must cost them so much money to film, to film that,
[8:40] Speaker 4: to produce that, because at those dinner parties, like there's
[8:44] Speaker 4: two cameras on every single person, which sometimes with the editing,
[8:48] Speaker 4: they're clever, like you might say something people go in
[8:49] Speaker 4: their cat like and then they could happen an hour earlier.
[8:54] Speaker 4: But do you watch Maths No.
[8:55] Speaker 2: I watched like snippets of it on techtile disciplined, you know,
[9:01] Speaker 2: just like, oh sadness.
[9:03] Speaker 1: I love up on the veranda before Dad when like
[9:05] Speaker 1: a fifteen minute rant about matter. He must have thought
[9:07] Speaker 1: that you're watching it, and he was saying, like people's name,
[9:09] Speaker 1: he was like alyssa and thiseotype.
[9:13] Speaker 2: But I just think those things are like it's just
[9:18] Speaker 2: every year someone's painted as a villa. There's only so
[9:21] Speaker 2: much editing.
[9:22] Speaker 3: That can happen later. You're a villain, you're you're a
[9:24] Speaker 3: ship person. You're probably a ship person.
[9:26] Speaker 4: Around, very very clever at times, because there's been people
[9:29] Speaker 4: in this series who have appeared, for use of a
[9:34] Speaker 4: better term, quite normal.
[9:35] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[9:35] Speaker 4: Nice. But then as the series goes on and you've
[9:39] Speaker 4: got about three quarters the way through it, it would
[9:41] Speaker 4: appear no they're not, but they've just they've held that storyline.
[9:46] Speaker 3: Speaking at the starting, I love them, love them, and
[9:48] Speaker 3: then all the stunt.
[9:49] Speaker 4: On these people, they're the weirdows. But then all of
[9:51] Speaker 4: a sudden, you know, their storyline sort of comes to
[9:54] Speaker 4: concludes and the person into it.
[9:56] Speaker 2: But I just think a lot of them would get
[9:59] Speaker 2: out of there, stop filming, and wouldn't be able to
[10:02] Speaker 2: get a job.
[10:03] Speaker 1: It's like it's such a risk school teachers and that.
[10:07] Speaker 2: I know, let you know that if you're going on there,
[10:09] Speaker 2: that could potentially be your last.
[10:11] Speaker 4: I've seen one that was like one of the people
[10:13] Speaker 4: in it says welfare officer and disability counsel and think
[10:18] Speaker 4: like that, And I think, yeah, just sort of the
[10:21] Speaker 4: way you appear on this show, I can't I don't
[10:25] Speaker 4: I find it. I don't see you as a carer.
[10:28] Speaker 3: Yeah, but who knows, and probably wouldn't.
[10:30] Speaker 2: Be able to go back to that job on a
[10:32] Speaker 2: reality show like The Bachelor in New Zealand, the Bachelorette,
[10:37] Speaker 2: Sorry in New Zealand, Yeah, you were going to be
[10:39] Speaker 2: the Bachelor the Bachelorette. This was years ago, when I
[10:41] Speaker 2: was quite young, and thank god I didn't do it.
[10:44] Speaker 4: It's hard to come back.
[10:45] Speaker 2: I know.
[10:46] Speaker 3: I look back and I'm like I thought, now, I'm oh, no,
[10:48] Speaker 3: thank god I didn't. Oh.
[10:50] Speaker 2: I think I'd go on like the Block or you know,
[10:52] Speaker 2: like the Amazing Race, or oh I wouldn't be very
[10:55] Speaker 2: good at survivor.
[10:56] Speaker 3: We always laugh if.
[10:57] Speaker 2: Arts and I went on the Amazing Race because like,
[11:00] Speaker 2: I'm terrible with maps and I'm not the best driver,
[11:03] Speaker 2: but one of you has to do that stuff. And
[11:06] Speaker 2: I'd get like tired.
[11:07] Speaker 3: And I need to pee, and then I'd get hungry
[11:09] Speaker 3: and he'd be.
[11:10] Speaker 5: Just gonna come.
[11:11] Speaker 1: I got asked to do it the Amazing Race two
[11:13] Speaker 1: years ago, and I was I was actually half thinking
[11:17] Speaker 1: about it, but I just started radio and I was like,
[11:20] Speaker 1: I'm going to have to take a couple of months
[11:21] Speaker 1: off to do it and then go to Europe or
[11:22] Speaker 1: whoever it was filmed. And I'm also not that like
[11:26] Speaker 1: compassy north east southwest be useless. I mean I still
[11:30] Speaker 1: do that you know at school where you say news
[11:33] Speaker 1: to remember each direction northeast it's like easter.
[11:37] Speaker 4: Would you struggle with northeast south? Yes, like I wouldn't.
[11:40] Speaker 3: Does it go? So do I north, north is up east?
[11:44] Speaker 4: Yeah, east is to the right, West is to the left.
[11:51] Speaker 1: Your news thing, I just I'd say in my head,
[11:54] Speaker 1: I'd say news, so I remember each of them, northeast, southwest,
[11:58] Speaker 1: But then you swamp the W and the S.
[12:00] Speaker 4: That just sounds so confusing.
[12:01] Speaker 2: Wait so you remember then you just say new So
[12:04] Speaker 2: you don't know north, south, eastern west.
[12:07] Speaker 4: Well, yeah, like.
[12:09] Speaker 1: That's how I remember it.
[12:11] Speaker 3: But then how do you know which way it is?
[12:13] Speaker 1: Well, I flipped the S and the W, so it's
[12:15] Speaker 1: like news but spelled and e W.
[12:17] Speaker 4: That sounds more difficult.
[12:19] Speaker 1: No, it's like nessa, but it's news. It's guys, it's
[12:23] Speaker 1: organized chaos. It's it works out in my braain like.
[12:27] Speaker 3: This left and right.
[12:28] Speaker 2: I'll still go like that, not all the time, but
[12:31] Speaker 2: sometime I'll try to do it subtenly. Like you're like,
[12:32] Speaker 2: all right, go left.
[12:33] Speaker 4: I'll be like, true, Teresa's terrible getting the instructions, go
[12:37] Speaker 4: to the which one is left? We're going. We're driving
[12:40] Speaker 4: through Dublin, very difficult city to drive, and you go
[12:43] Speaker 4: over the canals and if you miss one turn. And
[12:45] Speaker 4: Tricia's this thing, don't she boys here? She likes to
[12:48] Speaker 4: tackle an ash accent to you, MAT's how you're doing,
[12:53] Speaker 4: and I went, we're driving across the countryside, the whole
[12:56] Speaker 4: way across Hiland. She was like, oh, look at this,
[12:58] Speaker 4: look at this lovely storm. Fans left and I said, Trish,
[13:02] Speaker 4: I'm beating you. Please stop the fucking irish I said.
[13:05] Speaker 4: I said, I'm trying to have normal conversations. We're driving
[13:08] Speaker 4: through Dublin and she's going, oh, it's lovely, what a
[13:11] Speaker 4: lovely day. Look at this, And I said, Trish, knock
[13:13] Speaker 4: off the just concentrate. If we miss one turn here,
[13:16] Speaker 4: it's going to cost us. Now, Oh okay, no worries.
[13:19] Speaker 4: And then we drive on. She goes, oh, you should
[13:20] Speaker 4: have went left.
[13:21] Speaker 3: Back there, and then you just have to keep going.
[13:23] Speaker 4: Had to just keep going around the city and around
[13:25] Speaker 4: the city.
[13:26] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[13:26] Speaker 2: I'm not good at directions either, even they're like maps
[13:30] Speaker 2: on Apple or ways or they're still confusing, like it'll
[13:34] Speaker 2: be like take this list, but then there's like three
[13:36] Speaker 2: in Sydney, especially three different things, and I'm like, oh,
[13:39] Speaker 2: call them over the bridge.
[13:39] Speaker 4: Now when you're driving, I must say this one hundred
[13:42] Speaker 4: meters when you're a pedestrian looks a lot further than
[13:47] Speaker 4: when that does one hundred meters in the cart, yeah,
[13:49] Speaker 4: left hand turn one hundred meters and I got, oh
[13:51] Speaker 4: that's two seconds away. Yeah yeah, you know sport loop. No.
[13:59] Speaker 2: I was quite a rotund child, really yeah, big unit,
[14:03] Speaker 2: about age eight. So we did as a family cycling,
[14:09] Speaker 2: but I would mainly do that because Tuesday nights after cycling,
[14:12] Speaker 2: one of us would get to peck the takeaways pose
[14:17] Speaker 2: you know, rained, so that you know, you work hard
[14:20] Speaker 2: to play hard.
[14:21] Speaker 4: Blue had an eye lose again, but we would.
[14:26] Speaker 3: Have I remember it.
[14:27] Speaker 2: So we used to do like Valodrome cyclane and you
[14:29] Speaker 2: go around like because I was would have been like eight,
[14:32] Speaker 2: and you go around the cones and you have.
[14:33] Speaker 3: To go like in and out and I just feel
[14:35] Speaker 3: like And then we played soccer.
[14:40] Speaker 2: My brothers were pretty good, Like one of my brothers
[14:42] Speaker 2: nearly went to the Commonwealth Games for Valodrome cyclan, but
[14:45] Speaker 2: then he pecked music over there. And then I did
[14:47] Speaker 2: soccer that was like me and my friend would just
[14:50] Speaker 2: like dance at.
[14:51] Speaker 3: The back like defenders. Not very good at that.
[14:53] Speaker 2: Then I did figure skating, so like four wheels and
[14:56] Speaker 2: like a leotard jumps and all that hockey goal that
[15:00] Speaker 2: again was because we got McDonald's after.
[15:05] Speaker 4: A course, letting people know Lou wasn't going to come,
[15:08] Speaker 4: but we promised to a couple of cheese.
[15:11] Speaker 1: Yeah, so you're a pretty good like i'd say you're
[15:14] Speaker 1: pretty good singer, I'd say you're pretty good.
[15:17] Speaker 4: So your brother is he still a music Yeah?
[15:21] Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's weird.
[15:22] Speaker 2: My dad was a dentist and my mum was a
[15:24] Speaker 2: dietitian and then all my brother they are older.
[15:28] Speaker 3: They live Finland and London.
[15:31] Speaker 2: They're like graphic designer, app designer, and then Matthew's a musician.
[15:35] Speaker 3: And then I'm so we're all creative, so I couldn't
[15:37] Speaker 3: take over the family business. So yeah, like very different
[15:43] Speaker 3: to mum.
[15:44] Speaker 4: And dad type of music.
[15:46] Speaker 2: He plays the bass for Jimmy Barnes one time, but
[15:51] Speaker 2: Jimmy's bass player in New Zealand when he was really young.
[15:54] Speaker 4: That's cool.
[15:56] Speaker 1: Used to dad tried to play guitar one year. It's hard,
[15:59] Speaker 1: and then they to push them into bass, but you didn't.
[16:02] Speaker 4: I've got a lot of snap tendence in my fingers
[16:04] Speaker 4: and then I'll go to play it. He goes, Oh, yeah,
[16:08] Speaker 4: give a thought of a playing the bass? I see
[16:10] Speaker 4: Coop on meeting in the car.
[16:13] Speaker 3: It's hard to pick up at the stage.
[16:15] Speaker 2: Like I always think back because Dad used to like
[16:18] Speaker 2: take us to Italian listens and we all go, we're younger,
[16:23] Speaker 2: and now I'm like, I just wish I stuck with that,
[16:26] Speaker 2: like being able to speak Italian and like musician.
[16:28] Speaker 3: They tried to get me to play the drums all these.
[16:30] Speaker 4: Here's a question, Coop Jack, if you could if you
[16:35] Speaker 4: took the Limitless drug. Have you seen the movie? Great question?
[16:38] Speaker 4: If you took the Limitless drug and you could perfect
[16:42] Speaker 4: one thing, master it immediately, what would it be? So
[16:46] Speaker 4: I got I gave the piano.
[16:47] Speaker 3: I go, oh, that's where my brain went to.
[16:49] Speaker 4: Because if you know the piano, they say his music
[16:52] Speaker 4: is concerned it's Latin. Yeah, the piano, you basically know
[16:55] Speaker 4: the music for everything else. I'd go piano stock market.
[17:00] Speaker 1: Yeah, you've become got to think outside the box to Op.
[17:04] Speaker 3: Singing will be quite cool, selling out of stadium.
[17:06] Speaker 4: I don't know. One a second. Guys, the karaoke let
[17:13] Speaker 4: me just get up there and we sung karaoke together.
[17:18] Speaker 3: One we did.
[17:18] Speaker 2: We went to the robin Hood and yeah it's yeah.
[17:25] Speaker 3: We sung drops of it drops a due. I think
[17:28] Speaker 3: we got up twice. I think we're a bit greedy.
[17:30] Speaker 1: You got up twice and you shung two songs, and
[17:32] Speaker 1: then you said, let's do a duet next.
[17:34] Speaker 3: So I did three.
[17:35] Speaker 4: Yeah, you did three.
[17:36] Speaker 1: They couldn't get they were you could, and you were
[17:38] Speaker 1: bribing the karaoke person to get your song next, every
[17:40] Speaker 1: single time you paying that, I want my song that.
[17:42] Speaker 4: There's like a line of thirty people waiting there.
[17:45] Speaker 3: Give me another garden hood.
[17:46] Speaker 4: That's my brother's local brother, Andrew there.
[17:49] Speaker 2: I've seen him once in Bronze because I know he's
[17:51] Speaker 2: an immortal.
[17:52] Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, I know that from rugby league. There's six
[17:55] Speaker 3: of them.
[17:57] Speaker 4: Fifteen was sorry originally. Yeah. So there's this ham name.
[18:07] Speaker 3: There's m Nathan Cleary. Okay, Steve mad.
[18:11] Speaker 4: I cracked it yet, Okay, you got it.
[18:18] Speaker 3: There's a bloke called Steve.
[18:21] Speaker 4: I'm trying to limb that down. Let me run through.
[18:24] Speaker 4: Bob Fulton, Clive Churchill, Reg Gasnier, Johnny Raper, malma Inger,
[18:30] Speaker 4: Graham Langlands.
[18:33] Speaker 3: You know that's what I was thinking of.
[18:34] Speaker 2: That name.
[18:35] Speaker 4: I was Lewis, Andrew John's norm proven. This is terrible.
[18:41] Speaker 4: Now I'm starting to get into that.
[18:42] Speaker 1: Remember they did like six like a year ago they
[18:45] Speaker 1: announced six more and it's hard to remember.
[18:47] Speaker 4: Steve Ronnie could what's.
[18:50] Speaker 3: The like, what's the Yeah, how do you get that?
[18:54] Speaker 4: Just greatness?
[18:56] Speaker 3: Who picks it? Is there like a team?
[18:58] Speaker 4: Yeah, there's task and things like that.
[19:00] Speaker 1: There's like the Hall of Fame and then basically from
[19:03] Speaker 1: the Hall of Fame they'll pick like an even more
[19:06] Speaker 1: elusive list.
[19:07] Speaker 3: So it's a pretty cool thing to have.
[19:10] Speaker 4: It's the most prestigious thing in the game in RL.
[19:13] Speaker 4: Talking about the game, mate, you're the second key we
[19:16] Speaker 4: we've had there. We had Brad Thorne in that chair
[19:19] Speaker 4: about six to eight weeks ago. Yeah, my god, what
[19:22] Speaker 4: a champion. All blacks, All blacks played for the Broncos.
[19:28] Speaker 4: All Blacks back to the Broncos, back to the All Blacks.
[19:31] Speaker 2: How hard would it be going between? Because like in
[19:33] Speaker 2: New zeal And, we grew up all blacks like rugby union,
[19:36] Speaker 2: and then when I moved to Australia, it's kind of
[19:38] Speaker 2: only when I figured.
[19:39] Speaker 1: Out an r L and a f L a league team.
[19:42] Speaker 2: Well I've jumped around. I did Sharks, then I did
[19:45] Speaker 2: rabbit O's now and Roosters.
[19:46] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[19:49] Speaker 3: So I'm happy to jump ship Titans. Okay.
[19:53] Speaker 4: Actually we're as we're recording this this weekend. It's nice
[19:57] Speaker 4: it's Titans versus Wars.
[19:59] Speaker 2: Okay, I'm heavy to jump ship because I'm not locked
[20:01] Speaker 2: into anything happily bribed.
[20:04] Speaker 1: Yeah, like do you want to well.
[20:07] Speaker 4: Get your membership?
[20:08] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[20:08] Speaker 3: Can I come to a game with you guys?
[20:10] Speaker 4: Absolutely? Yeah, I'm I'm not a good people to be.
[20:17] Speaker 4: I'm not a good person. Require like he's anxious, always
[20:22] Speaker 4: gets here and like if I'm sitting watching it and
[20:24] Speaker 4: the game's not going the way I like it, I'll
[20:26] Speaker 4: go and lock myself in the bedroom.
[20:28] Speaker 3: Okay, do you prefer to be at home watching it?
[20:30] Speaker 4: I do? Yeah?
[20:34] Speaker 2: What was All Blacks in our Yeah? So it was
[20:37] Speaker 2: like we only really grew up watching the All Blacks,
[20:39] Speaker 2: but it was awesome because it was like everyone watched it. Yeah,
[20:41] Speaker 2: it was like the thing and we were we go
[20:45] Speaker 2: to breadth or we were watching the other.
[20:47] Speaker 3: Day like All Blacks highlights.
[20:49] Speaker 2: We were watching you know when it was like Dan Carter,
[20:51] Speaker 2: Richie McCall and what like all that generation. It was
[20:55] Speaker 2: just it was a fucking unbelieving they were just so
[20:59] Speaker 2: good back in that that was still great, but that
[21:02] Speaker 2: was like.
[21:02] Speaker 4: Incredible, incredible, incredible organization, incredible history, incredible culture that they
[21:11] Speaker 4: have set the culture for sport all around the world,
[21:13] Speaker 4: as far as how they treat their fans, how they
[21:15] Speaker 4: treat their staff, like they were the first they were
[21:18] Speaker 4: the first team to actually they do. They've cleaned the
[21:21] Speaker 4: sheds themselves, so they don't rely on the stadium like
[21:23] Speaker 4: they could play in South Africa. In Joe Burke, the
[21:26] Speaker 4: game finishes, they have a shower and everything, and then
[21:28] Speaker 4: they sweep the floors. They do it the other one
[21:31] Speaker 4: the brad Faw told us about, right, Yeah, so he
[21:34] Speaker 4: has all our stories going from the Broncos to the
[21:36] Speaker 4: All Blacks and trying to sort of maneuver around the
[21:39] Speaker 4: culture and what was expected. And he said, it's very
[21:43] Speaker 4: much up to you to learn the culture. They don't
[21:44] Speaker 4: sit there with a handbook. They so he said, they're
[21:48] Speaker 4: on an international flight and he said a play lands.
[21:53] Speaker 4: He gets off, he walks down, he's the Beys carousel.
[21:56] Speaker 4: He looks around, None of the team are there. He
[21:59] Speaker 4: can't what's going on, like might the wrong? All the
[22:03] Speaker 4: team come down, the coach just staring at him, and
[22:06] Speaker 4: he goes I've done. Somebody said, yeah, you don't we
[22:08] Speaker 4: leave the plane last, and he said, yeah, that's their thing.
[22:12] Speaker 4: Let everyone off the plane and then we go off.
[22:15] Speaker 4: Do the do the right thing, gentlemen, and Thorny didn't
[22:18] Speaker 4: know it. Thorny got off yeah first, and he said,
[22:20] Speaker 4: I was standing there. That's embarrassing. He said. It really
[22:24] Speaker 4: weighed on him heavily.
[22:25] Speaker 3: That would you.
[22:27] Speaker 4: Oh God, great mate, superb guy. Honestly just classic.
[22:32] Speaker 2: Did he That's what I was saying. Going from league
[22:36] Speaker 2: to union like that would be hard.
[22:39] Speaker 4: Not many people can do it transition.
[22:42] Speaker 3: Yeah, but there's been a few have done.
[22:45] Speaker 4: Crossover stars and play they call him duel internationals people
[22:48] Speaker 4: who so a lot of great all back players came
[22:51] Speaker 4: over and played rugby league because rugby union only become
[22:54] Speaker 4: professional in nine ninety five. Really, up until then it
[22:58] Speaker 4: was it was an amateur sport. At late nineteen ninety
[23:01] Speaker 4: five bordering on ninety six, that's when it became professional.
[23:05] Speaker 4: So if you were paid it all they found out
[23:07] Speaker 4: you were being paid in any way, shape or form
[23:09] Speaker 4: and union, you're barred for life. So oftentimes they go
[23:12] Speaker 4: and play in Italy and France where they pay you
[23:13] Speaker 4: under the table, but great, all Blacks players and union
[23:16] Speaker 4: players would come across the rugby league because it was
[23:19] Speaker 4: a professional game.
[23:20] Speaker 2: Well that's like, was it Sunny Bell and he played
[23:23] Speaker 2: for the Roosters for like one.
[23:25] Speaker 4: Starting league Cross then came back.
[23:29] Speaker 3: Yeah, do you think it'll be easier going league to you, Brad?
[23:33] Speaker 4: Very interesting loop. There's always been the great debate both
[23:36] Speaker 4: both sports don't respect each other enough. Brad Thorne sat
[23:40] Speaker 4: in that chair and in five minutes explained the difference
[23:44] Speaker 4: between the two codes and why we don't respect each
[23:46] Speaker 4: other enough. I've never heard a person explain it.
[23:48] Speaker 3: So really, yeah, I attempt No, I would listen to
[23:52] Speaker 3: that one lock. He's probably listening to it right now.
[23:55] Speaker 4: So Loo every day at Tripling yep.
[23:57] Speaker 3: Yeah, so Monday to Friday, two to four.
[24:00] Speaker 4: It's a really good chat.
[24:00] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a great, great.
[24:01] Speaker 2: We have an awesome team around us, like our producers,
[24:04] Speaker 2: our bosses, everyone in sales.
[24:06] Speaker 4: Team like, we're very like and I bet Lou when
[24:08] Speaker 4: you first went in there, like most people go into
[24:11] Speaker 4: radio right and get there at the end of a shift,
[24:13] Speaker 4: go oh god. But for you guys like you and Judge,
[24:18] Speaker 4: you're creating fit. Like you said, that we're sitting here
[24:21] Speaker 4: in a long form conversation. All of a sudden you
[24:23] Speaker 4: get on radio and you just three minutes and they're
[24:25] Speaker 4: starting to wind you. Yeah, I'm just songs and you've
[24:29] Speaker 4: got ads. There is just so much downtime, I.
[24:31] Speaker 2: Know, and and like that the art of going from
[24:35] Speaker 2: being on a podcast and telling long form and going
[24:37] Speaker 2: on these like tangents and then having to go, oh shit,
[24:39] Speaker 2: how do I tell the story now, and like forming it,
[24:42] Speaker 2: abbreviate it, and then also get in like you know,
[24:45] Speaker 2: Lou and Charch on triple and put a fine all
[24:48] Speaker 2: that kind of stuff. So it was like I had
[24:50] Speaker 2: done radio before podcasting, so I'd done like a little
[24:55] Speaker 2: bit of on air stuff at today FIM, so I
[24:58] Speaker 2: kind of had that, but Jarch did, but he picked
[25:00] Speaker 2: it up so quick, like.
[25:02] Speaker 3: He was within like three weeks.
[25:03] Speaker 4: It's great. He's got a great voice for me.
[25:05] Speaker 2: And within three weeks he got like the you know,
[25:08] Speaker 2: the ends and outs, and.
[25:10] Speaker 4: He is almost the twin in every in every way
[25:13] Speaker 4: to a go. We know Darren McKenzie, who's a friend
[25:15] Speaker 4: of ours. When Judge, when I hear Judge, when he talks,
[25:18] Speaker 4: the way he holds himself. Honestly, they could be twins. Yeah,
[25:21] Speaker 4: three day if you had any offers. And he nibbles
[25:24] Speaker 4: away from trip Lamp because I imagine your will.
[25:26] Speaker 2: We have like obviously you hear like rumors and all that,
[25:30] Speaker 2: but I think I don't think there'd be anything like
[25:33] Speaker 2: moving us from there for a while. Like I really
[25:35] Speaker 2: like the time slaughter around. It's great afternoons, A go, Yeah,
[25:40] Speaker 2: that's the that's.
[25:41] Speaker 4: The life, right for eight years and it nearly killed me.
[25:44] Speaker 4: And so I do one one shell week one and
[25:47] Speaker 4: just keep my eye. And they but me. He said,
[25:49] Speaker 4: how many days you want to do a week? I
[25:50] Speaker 4: said one day? They went on Monday. I went Friday,
[25:53] Speaker 4: nine or twelve on a Friday. Why Friday. Everyone's in
[25:56] Speaker 4: a good mood.
[25:57] Speaker 3: Yeah, Monday, it's like Monday's going all right.
[26:02] Speaker 1: To finish off, I went on to Lockie's page piss Trays.
[26:04] Speaker 1: I want to read out one of his reviews. This
[26:06] Speaker 1: is at Hotel rose Bay.
[26:10] Speaker 4: He went into.
[26:11] Speaker 1: He calls it the Rojo Rod Rinser. He goes here
[26:15] Speaker 1: it is folks, the one of infamous, the Hotel rose
[26:17] Speaker 1: Bay piss Tray. Where do we start with this one?
[26:20] Speaker 1: I'll tell you one thing you can tell this old
[26:21] Speaker 1: girl is from the Eastern suburbs. What a relief This
[26:23] Speaker 1: ball terra was saved in the Roho's most recent renovations,
[26:27] Speaker 1: but we can definitely see why. Situated in one of
[26:29] Speaker 1: the more affluent parts of Australia, this stainless trouble maker
[26:33] Speaker 1: look at looks down out of a lot of it's
[26:37] Speaker 1: lesser competitors, and for good reason. Somewhat spacious three point
[26:40] Speaker 1: two meter tray with six hundred millimeter winged walls either
[26:44] Speaker 1: side for extra protection for the patron in the corner
[26:46] Speaker 1: when the stream wanders out wide, and elevated strainer with
[26:51] Speaker 1: grip bars to hold your football in while you release.
[26:54] Speaker 1: A nice little arch tile below the boot cleaner that
[26:56] Speaker 1: dates back to the Art Deco era, showing this old
[26:59] Speaker 1: girl hasn't forgotten her heritage. Two down lights above offering
[27:03] Speaker 1: a theatrical like glow for this little beauty, providing a
[27:07] Speaker 1: nice silhouette on the most sake tile above. Also a
[27:10] Speaker 1: smoke alarm above for those boys that pack some punch
[27:13] Speaker 1: when they unbuttoned.
[27:17] Speaker 4: Very good second slide. What is that?
[27:20] Speaker 1: Although we love advertisement in our piss trays, sometimes it's
[27:23] Speaker 1: knife to offer a sleek, bespoke room, to really give
[27:26] Speaker 1: the centerpiece it's deserved border because, as they say, you
[27:30] Speaker 1: don't put a bumper sticker on a Ferrari. Life's good
[27:32] Speaker 1: at a tray.
[27:33] Speaker 2: He signs it off with life good tray and then
[27:36] Speaker 2: hashtag whatever post.
[27:37] Speaker 4: Code I've got. I've got something for him. He's got
[27:40] Speaker 4: to go to Vegas. Yeah, like on tour he does.
[27:45] Speaker 4: I've got a couple of places for him. One is
[27:47] Speaker 4: a double down Saloon, which is known as the worst worst,
[27:51] Speaker 4: the worst pub, the worst bar in America. I found it,
[27:54] Speaker 4: Oh my god. And there's one that I found his worst.
[27:57] Speaker 4: Trisha and I one night and our dear mate Brian can't.
[28:00] Speaker 4: We'd heard about Dinos, I think, and the boys are
[28:02] Speaker 4: back in town. They talk about Dinos bar and grill. Anyway,
[28:05] Speaker 4: it's a karaoke joint. I walked into this round. Fuck,
[28:09] Speaker 4: I'm in heaven. It's so bad and wait for this,
[28:11] Speaker 4: so like you've got the toilets. The toilets were a disgrace.
[28:17] Speaker 4: That was so good. And I walked in. Anyway, we're
[28:20] Speaker 4: lining up, sorry, in a queue, and the female toilets
[28:25] Speaker 4: was like you massive line. So this lady comes up
[28:27] Speaker 4: and goes, hey, how you doing? Man? Do your man
[28:30] Speaker 4: if I come and piss in here? And I said,
[28:31] Speaker 4: A good as goal. So I'm literally pissing in the
[28:33] Speaker 4: tray and she's squatting in the tray doing a piss. Yeah,
[28:37] Speaker 4: I think you could have a lot of fun there.
[28:39] Speaker 2: Because I always say I'd love like it's it's a
[28:41] Speaker 2: shame I can't teat out a year and all.
[28:43] Speaker 4: I was just about to ask that I really love.
[28:46] Speaker 1: Because for us males, I've always wondered, like what a
[28:49] Speaker 1: female toilet's like? I imagine just emmaculately clean, But do
[28:52] Speaker 1: you girls always wonder like what's the male toilet like?
[28:55] Speaker 2: Well, I've been in a few times with Lockeye now
[28:57] Speaker 2: that I filmed the perstrays, so do.
[28:59] Speaker 4: You walk in?
[29:00] Speaker 2: I walking film them. But the thing, the reason he
[29:04] Speaker 2: loves it is because he's a plumber. So it's like
[29:06] Speaker 2: he's always had this fascination, you know, it's like the
[29:08] Speaker 2: toiles and in the stream and all that. And then
[29:11] Speaker 2: he just started making the like the page is just
[29:14] Speaker 2: like a funny side thing, and I'm like, you could
[29:16] Speaker 2: actually monetize it, now.
[29:17] Speaker 4: Could I run some past? You look this is the
[29:19] Speaker 4: first person I've run a past. But this is really
[29:21] Speaker 4: just played on my mind for quite a while. I
[29:23] Speaker 4: just can't quite nail it is. I'm trying to come
[29:26] Speaker 4: up with an invention for for the women's toilets because
[29:29] Speaker 4: I just feel from so much when you go to
[29:31] Speaker 4: the airport, like you jump off the plane and people
[29:33] Speaker 4: generally gather toilet made some of the airports there's like
[29:36] Speaker 4: a twenty meter line lady's trying to jump into the cubicles.
[29:39] Speaker 4: There must have to be a new invention, almost like
[29:42] Speaker 4: a trough for the lady.
[29:43] Speaker 3: I agree, I'm.
[29:44] Speaker 4: Thinking the last time I thought, but it doesn't really fly.
[29:47] Speaker 4: I'm thinking like a hose that you can sort of
[29:49] Speaker 4: feel it and it then runs down into like a funnel. Yeah,
[29:53] Speaker 4: like a funnel and it runs. There's things called she.
[29:58] Speaker 2: You could have like just spoke, you could ever you
[30:00] Speaker 2: could actually the urinal and for people who aren't phased
[30:03] Speaker 2: about you know, like I'd pee in front of anyone
[30:05] Speaker 2: I don't care, you could have dispose of like a
[30:08] Speaker 2: you know, like a condom thing you put in and you
[30:10] Speaker 2: get your shi way, and you could just have a
[30:11] Speaker 2: urinal and there could be the normal toilet, then your
[30:14] Speaker 2: pest tray.
[30:15] Speaker 3: And you use the shiwey.
[30:17] Speaker 2: Love it because sometimes I'll be like, oh, I need
[30:20] Speaker 2: to go, but the line is out of the door,
[30:21] Speaker 2: whereas you guys would be so quick.
[30:24] Speaker 4: I went into a servey and this lady walked into
[30:30] Speaker 4: the toile and going, you know, you stand there, mate,
[30:34] Speaker 4: fifteen minutes hasn't come out. Time was up. So I
[30:37] Speaker 4: walked out, had to look around, found myself. It was
[30:39] Speaker 4: an old protein bottle and urinated in it. And it's like, yeah, anyway,
[30:44] Speaker 4: we made I well, an over pair of cowboy boots
[30:47] Speaker 4: in the back of my card. That's what I piece
[30:49] Speaker 4: in all this for you.
[30:49] Speaker 3: Well, yeah, he's just covered in piss.
[30:53] Speaker 4: Inside on it.
[30:54] Speaker 3: But then what do you do? Just you wash them
[30:57] Speaker 3: with water.
[30:58] Speaker 4: Tris died the other day.
[31:01] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why Dad's nickname is a bit was pissing birds.
[31:05] Speaker 4: That's good, but yeah, we'll work on that.
[31:08] Speaker 2: Invent Yeah, I think it's the I've always thought about that.
[31:11] Speaker 2: I thought, God, it's tough out here.
[31:12] Speaker 1: There's got to be an easier, Like, surely they're inventing
[31:15] Speaker 1: all AI and stuff, Like, surely there's.
[31:17] Speaker 4: Another reason I am pissed. I just mean, the world
[31:21] Speaker 4: is evolving so much.
[31:22] Speaker 1: Yeah, there's got to be some sort of new invent
[31:23] Speaker 1: the bathrooms and the toiletry system. It's probably the longest
[31:27] Speaker 1: dating things back, Like no one's ever really evolved it.
[31:29] Speaker 3: What's the one in the bidet?
[31:33] Speaker 4: That's good?
[31:35] Speaker 2: My friend has one in Melbourne and we couldn't turn
[31:37] Speaker 2: it off and so I just had to stand up.
[31:40] Speaker 4: It was just gone, yeah, but how good? Like honestly,
[31:42] Speaker 4: you just you're on there and it's just the water.
[31:45] Speaker 4: They just waring squid and it's just I sat there honestly,
[31:50] Speaker 4: just kept it repeat all.
[31:52] Speaker 3: These different things as well.
[31:54] Speaker 4: You can splash the bottom of the ball.
[31:55] Speaker 1: And also in like in Japan, there were they they
[32:00] Speaker 1: have the really warm toilet seat, like it's a heated seat.
[32:03] Speaker 3: I've never experienced that one.
[32:05] Speaker 1: You know, who's got the day all of his bathings
[32:07] Speaker 1: in his house, Nico Heinz.
[32:09] Speaker 3: Yeah, to have an every bathroom.
[32:13] Speaker 1: Place you bought already had it, so I don't know
[32:15] Speaker 1: whether the guy had already built it in there.
[32:17] Speaker 4: But heated warm bums.
[32:19] Speaker 1: Oh, it's so nice on a cold winter's night, because
[32:22] Speaker 1: I like, there's nothing worse than that initial shock when
[32:25] Speaker 1: you sit down on the seat and it just sends
[32:26] Speaker 1: a bit of shiver down.
[32:27] Speaker 4: Your back is freezing?
[32:28] Speaker 3: Can you pre warm it? So you're like, I need
[32:30] Speaker 3: to go, and I always wants.
[32:32] Speaker 4: Always want. The toilets in Japan are just darling great,
[32:36] Speaker 4: so clean. Yeah, and you literally walk into a toilet
[32:39] Speaker 4: sometimes a cubicle and they'll release like a perfume puff.
[32:44] Speaker 3: I really want to go to Tokyo. Ever been to Japan?
[32:48] Speaker 4: To it? You got to do it.
[32:50] Speaker 1: They love you there, big listeners of the you don't

[33:15] Speaker 2: your boss.
[33:16] Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, we're disrespectful, yeah, calory man.

[33:25] Speaker 4: thumbs up like you're working hard. Yeah, you see people
[33:29] Speaker 4: just laying in their suits, lying in the in the
[33:32] Speaker 4: gutter because they've just hammered himself. They work like fifteen
[33:35] Speaker 4: hours some of these people. Then they get out and
[33:37] Speaker 4: they go down to Golden Guy, which is this little
[33:40] Speaker 4: this precinct in Tokyo and Shinjuku, where it'd be like, yeah,
[33:45] Speaker 4: three blocks worth of Michael.
[33:46] Speaker 1: Yeah, it'd be it'd be like a yeah, one hundred
[33:48] Speaker 1: and fifty bars in the space of three box.
