[0:00] Speaker 1: We've got to lose in the studio. Yeah, Jesus one, Lou,
[0:03] Speaker 1: just just bait me the.
[0:05] Speaker 2: Dog, Brindley. What about we're on the bellcon then you go,
[0:12] Speaker 2: all right, come inside, Lou, Lou and I go, yeah,
[0:14] Speaker 2: let's get into.
[0:14] Speaker 3: It talking at the dog. Yes, Basis already give me
[0:18] Speaker 3: a nickname. Get off his lat loo.
[0:20] Speaker 2: Sorry, I'll get.
[0:25] Speaker 3: It's not the first time, you go, Isaac. We were
[0:27] Speaker 3: actually just reminiscing on the car ride over about the
[0:29] Speaker 3: first time you and Lou ever spoke. Your dad wouldn't
[0:32] Speaker 3: remember it.
[0:32] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, we did it on the phone. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it.
[0:35] Speaker 2: Was very Can you go to me? You go, oh, Lou,
[0:38] Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. New Zealand has a very special
[0:41] Speaker 2: place in my heart. Oh god, it's got a special
[0:45] Speaker 2: But you keep rattling off all these places.
[0:47] Speaker 1: Yea from North.
[0:50] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
[0:52] Speaker 1: We played a game there against the Tigers and then Anset.
[0:55] Speaker 1: In the old days, Ansept was an airline that went
[0:58] Speaker 1: went broke and when we're over there, they went on strike.
[1:02] Speaker 1: So we were actually trapped in Partston North for five days.
[1:05] Speaker 2: Not a great place.
[1:07] Speaker 1: How we got home was Alan Jones. Alan Jones was
[1:11] Speaker 1: the coach of the Balbane Tigers, and he reading the
[1:13] Speaker 1: Prime Minister Paul Keating and said, if you don't get
[1:16] Speaker 1: me home tomorrow for my radio show, I will just
[1:19] Speaker 1: do a vendetta against it. And we've got a special
[1:22] Speaker 1: dispensation to fly fly to fly back to Australia.
[1:25] Speaker 2: Is Alan Jones, the one who did the chant horny hornyy?
[1:30] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's pretty the least. I didn't think you were
[1:33] Speaker 3: going to bring. I didn't know where you were going
[1:34] Speaker 3: to is Alan Jones?
[1:36] Speaker 2: That I'm not great for my I thought he was
[1:38] Speaker 2: reading the news. Yeah, probably that's keeping me out of
[1:41] Speaker 2: that ttok and that I was doing dances on the
[1:46] Speaker 2: way here.
[1:48] Speaker 1: My space is all over.
[1:50] Speaker 3: Dad likes TikTok. Yeah, you actually do.
[1:52] Speaker 2: It's dangerous. You can sit there scrolling for hours.
[1:55] Speaker 3: He's got he's got a guest account loose, so like
[1:57] Speaker 3: we didn't want to give an official because you don't
[1:59] Speaker 3: know what he's going to know. Like I went through
[2:01] Speaker 3: someone else's someone very prominent Instagram the other day and
[2:04] Speaker 3: the things they're reposting, obviously they're hitting the button without
[2:07] Speaker 3: realizing it.
[2:08] Speaker 2: Heaven to his dad. He was reposting things on accident
[2:13] Speaker 2: and what like just like even even realizing he's collective.
[2:19] Speaker 2: But then it just shows the inside of people's like
[2:21] Speaker 2: if I peas, you know page what they're saying, mine's
[2:25] Speaker 2: mine's weird minds, like a lot of AI animals like
[2:29] Speaker 2: peg stance.
[2:32] Speaker 1: I said, Tricia set it up. She goes, oh, here
[2:35] Speaker 1: you're finding it and I said this on. I went,
[2:38] Speaker 1: I wasn't aware of an algorithm, and I went, it's
[2:40] Speaker 1: so weird. I don't know. Said, all it is is
[2:43] Speaker 1: like middle aged women dancing and bikinis, and she went, yeah.
[2:49] Speaker 2: You're like you've engaged. From there, they kept coming up.
[2:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, respect for women, middle aged women and pikini you do.
[3:00] Speaker 3: Yeah, and it still hasn't changed the algorithm. Let's just
[3:02] Speaker 3: make that sure. How you enjoying radio at the moment,
[3:05] Speaker 3: because we had jarchs on a couple years ago, as
[3:08] Speaker 3: I think you guys hadn't gone into radio yet. You're
[3:11] Speaker 3: just doing the podcast.
[3:12] Speaker 1: Yeah, are you.
[3:13] Speaker 3: Sick of each other yet? Because you've gone from doing
[3:15] Speaker 3: two podcasts a week to now every single afternoon you're
[3:17] Speaker 3: with each other.
[3:18] Speaker 2: So we did nine shows a week together because we
[3:20] Speaker 2: do five radio and then four podcasts because we do
[3:24] Speaker 2: two Patreon, which people pay for. You know what's really weird.
[3:28] Speaker 2: Some days we will get a coffee, go to the podcast,
[3:32] Speaker 2: get lunch, go to radio, go to the gym, and
[3:35] Speaker 2: then we might have like a work event or like
[3:37] Speaker 2: get drunk that night, and we're like, how a, we're
[3:39] Speaker 2: not sick of each other. It's like a sibling relationship,
[3:42] Speaker 2: so like we can sort of fight and then things
[3:45] Speaker 2: are fine and we don't really fight. It's usually like
[3:47] Speaker 2: finding games. But it is a lot of talking. But
[3:50] Speaker 2: I'm obviously good at that, but it is. It's become
[3:53] Speaker 2: like a lot more workload with radio and podcasts, but
[3:56] Speaker 2: they're very different. Like podcasts is so like you know,
[4:00] Speaker 2: like Long Fought where his radio it's like four minute
[4:03] Speaker 2: break and then you got two songs, start scrolling looking
[4:05] Speaker 2: at the middle.
[4:06] Speaker 1: Age, you get more on going three minutes type bright,
[4:10] Speaker 1: get out in the high all that sort of stuff.
[4:12] Speaker 1: But yeah, and it's really funny with the way it.
[4:14] Speaker 3: Went with just chewing the chord.
[4:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not me. You're not me chewing the chord.
[4:20] Speaker 3: I think it's time we'll just just give bumble a chance.
[4:24] Speaker 1: We're taking going to hearse him crying.
[4:26] Speaker 3: Every single time we put it. Every this is every
[4:28] Speaker 3: single time we bring him in, within ten minutes he
[4:30] Speaker 3: derails the potty and we have to get him out anyway.
[4:33] Speaker 1: But you're right, like the old you FM radio, can
[4:36] Speaker 1: we guys type break it out on a high? Yeah?
[4:38] Speaker 1: The sound checking? Yeah, guys, just go back. I've listened
[4:40] Speaker 1: to that break. How do you think that went? I
[4:42] Speaker 1: was fucking fantastic. We think differently.
[4:44] Speaker 2: I'm glad they don't Trivileia's awesome, Like I don't. I
[4:47] Speaker 2: think we've had one sound check. They kind of just
[4:49] Speaker 2: leave us to do that. If it was every week
[4:53] Speaker 2: being like, all right, listen back to four breaks, I'd
[4:55] Speaker 2: be like, oh no, please.
[4:57] Speaker 1: You know went When I was there, I went in
[5:00] Speaker 1: the team was the team had started. And then Stuart McGill.
[5:06] Speaker 2: Left and is he the cricketer, yes, yes, you sport
[5:11] Speaker 2: come into prominence.
[5:12] Speaker 1: Just recently he was on a podcast.
[5:16] Speaker 3: Move On, Move On, Move On, Move On? Did you
[5:18] Speaker 3: say that video? He started a podcast with someone in
[5:21] Speaker 3: him and his first whoever it was, who cares and
[5:25] Speaker 3: then he just like completely went off at his co host.
[5:29] Speaker 1: It could be fairly a cerbic personality. And so when
[5:32] Speaker 1: he left, I came in and so I sort of
[5:34] Speaker 1: just came in at a show that had been established
[5:38] Speaker 1: and they were getting it. They were getting us in
[5:40] Speaker 1: there at four thirty in the morning for six am
[5:43] Speaker 1: and making the team hang around till eleven thirty after
[5:47] Speaker 1: the show. Not And I remember about two weeks in
[5:50] Speaker 1: lou I just got up at about about eleven o'clock
[5:52] Speaker 1: just said I'm just going to gather the toilet. I
[5:55] Speaker 1: got home and the boss running, mate, where are you?
[5:57] Speaker 1: And I said, mate, I life too short to sit
[6:00] Speaker 1: in those fucking boring meetings.
[6:02] Speaker 2: I feel like breakfast radio, you get it and you're
[6:05] Speaker 2: out of there by nine. You've got to get so tired.
[6:08] Speaker 1: It's ridiculous.
[6:09] Speaker 2: People. Honestly, people don't like I always joke about it,
[6:12] Speaker 2: but breakfast radio is Obviously, there's much harder jobs.
[6:16] Speaker 3: I don't think.
[6:17] Speaker 2: I don't think there is no there is, but you are.
[6:19] Speaker 2: I mean, like, obviously the nurses and people do nine
[6:22] Speaker 2: chef and things like that, but it is tough.
[6:26] Speaker 3: He needs to go to puppy school. Yeah, you start
[6:28] Speaker 3: that tomorrow.
[6:29] Speaker 1: Yeah tomorrow, he starts tomorrow night, and you're going to
[6:32] Speaker 1: go with him.
[6:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, So what do you do when you're there?
[6:34] Speaker 1: I don't know, hopefully hand him to someone else and
[6:37] Speaker 1: you can observe. Yeah, I don't think so. I think
[6:40] Speaker 1: it's one of those ones where you're going to have
[6:43] Speaker 1: angry owners, you know, trying to look for the the
[6:45] Speaker 1: the naughty dog, and that it's quite political these days.
[6:51] Speaker 2: Yes, it's like taking your kid back to school first
[6:54] Speaker 2: time in a while.
[6:55] Speaker 1: They were the days going to school, taking you you
[6:59] Speaker 1: never really came and did like a parentage interviews and
[7:01] Speaker 1: stuff that I did. I did all parenta interviews.
[7:04] Speaker 2: Were they both little ship?
[7:05] Speaker 1: Jack always got a good report.
[7:07] Speaker 2: Say you would be, but Cooper you.
[7:10] Speaker 1: One year with Jack, they had this award who is
[7:13] Speaker 1: like the out not the outsetiling student, but almost like
[7:16] Speaker 1: the kindest student in school. Jack won it one year and.
[7:21] Speaker 3: It's like the Participation Award.
[7:22] Speaker 1: You weren't even you weren't even nominate.
[7:25] Speaker 2: The running He would have been at the bottom of.
[7:28] Speaker 3: Yeah, the kind of like I didn't but I did
[7:31] Speaker 3: well at school, but I just wasn't well behaved.
[7:33] Speaker 2: And what subjects, all subjects, what was your best?
[7:36] Speaker 3: To be honest?
[7:37] Speaker 1: To be honest?
[7:38] Speaker 3: English of all things wasn't his strongest, which is surprising
[7:41] Speaker 3: because you're quite a creative writer these days. Yeah, yeah,
[7:44] Speaker 3: and you speak, you know, was very Thanks Thanks Lou, Thanks,
[7:48] Speaker 3: I appreciate it.
[7:49] Speaker 2: No problem, mate, Can we.
[7:50] Speaker 3: Get the dog? Yes, I can't focus with this thing.
[7:54] Speaker 3: He's going to rip this podcast studio of heart and
[7:56] Speaker 3: I know he's going to cry upstairs.
[7:58] Speaker 2: What's the crying sound like?
[8:00] Speaker 3: It's heartbreaking?
[8:01] Speaker 2: Well, see, I'm not going to be able to listen
[8:03] Speaker 2: to that. That's just so soft as yeah that you know,
[8:06] Speaker 2: that's what happens. It's like the youngest born he's they
[8:10] Speaker 2: become softer and softer appearance.
[8:12] Speaker 3: Yeah, he's quite a soft parent, like I wish we had.
[8:15] Speaker 3: I wish we grew up with a harder, raged parent,
[8:17] Speaker 3: not someone who used to like hit us with belts
[8:20] Speaker 3: and stuff, someone who just kept us on a young
[8:23] Speaker 3: wards have fixed a lot of personality traits, especially with Jack.
[8:26] Speaker 2: Were you like if you came home too late from
[8:28] Speaker 2: a party, it was play on all good.
[8:30] Speaker 3: We're pretty good like that, except these days at Cooper
[8:32] Speaker 3: I guess. Yeah, it's kind of half a dad to
[8:34] Speaker 3: discipline us now because oftentimes he was probably I would
[8:38] Speaker 3: say he was more ill behaved than we were.
[8:40] Speaker 2: So then you can't discipline when you've been doing the same.
[8:42] Speaker 1: Behavior always that true true. Guess keep home, Matte. Guess
[8:46] Speaker 1: oh that you start, because remember the time that she
[8:49] Speaker 1: sent me down to the shops once and on a Friday,
[8:52] Speaker 1: So can you go down you get coulie flowers of
[8:54] Speaker 1: bread and blah blah blah, we're going to do a curry.
[8:56] Speaker 1: Said yeah, yeah, good skull. On the way down there,
[8:59] Speaker 1: I ran into a few eights and I got back
[9:03] Speaker 1: on the Sunday. But I was smart enough to bring
[9:06] Speaker 1: I had the cauliflower, the bread and the milk. And
[9:11] Speaker 1: she didn't go good, I didn't. She didn't get the joke.
[9:15] Speaker 1: She didn't get the joke.
[9:17] Speaker 3: What are your parents loose?
[9:20] Speaker 2: So my dad's Italian, so their upbringing was very like
[9:24] Speaker 2: his way or the Highway Franco. But now he's a
[9:26] Speaker 2: big softie. It's like the older they get, the softer
[9:29] Speaker 2: he would come. So now he's a big softie. My mum,
[9:32] Speaker 2: sweetest angel in the world. I could do no wrong.
[9:35] Speaker 1: Where should had from? An Italy Western family.
[9:37] Speaker 2: Ldery North northern Yea by Venus. We're having this conversation
[9:43] Speaker 2: last night. We're actually rivals now because we're south yeah
[9:48] Speaker 2: each other.
[9:48] Speaker 1: But Cooper's got the northern features. Tricia's father's family a
[9:52] Speaker 1: Tricia's yea. Tricia's father's family come from the north, from
[9:57] Speaker 1: from pull. Yeah. Jack's got the southern jeans. Cooper's got
[10:02] Speaker 1: more than northern.
[10:04] Speaker 2: What the I wouldn't even know what the jeans are.
[10:07] Speaker 1: Well, if you go down south, it's darker, darker, more
[10:13] Speaker 1: heavy browed, dark hair, hairy, Yeah, brown eyes.
[10:17] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[10:18] Speaker 1: Up north it's fair, fair complexion because it borders almost
[10:22] Speaker 1: like when you go to the far North. It's almost
[10:24] Speaker 1: like Germany. They call Munich the northernmost state of town
[10:31] Speaker 1: city in Italy, so they class themselves Bavarians.
[10:38] Speaker 2: It's not as like obviously down south would be much
[10:41] Speaker 2: warmer and like beaches and stuff like Valaderbyard's Procco country.
[10:46] Speaker 2: So there's like nothing apart from around it is. It's
[10:50] Speaker 2: always been a you know, an afarole.
[10:52] Speaker 3: I get it. Have you been there your hometown twice?
[10:56] Speaker 2: No one speaks English, no one, like a few people,
[11:00] Speaker 2: but it's like there's like fifteen hundred people that you're
[11:03] Speaker 2: blind by ten am if you've got one busy your
[11:05] Speaker 2: relatively what.
[11:05] Speaker 3: Are you're saying this? Are they that like they're your family? Smoker.
[11:08] Speaker 3: When you go and se your Italian family smoker, it's
[11:10] Speaker 3: just like red wine and cheese boards.
[11:12] Speaker 2: Yeah. I remember arriving there and I was like twenty
[11:14] Speaker 2: one and we went to dad's cousins Gianni and they
[11:18] Speaker 2: had like red wine, bread, cheese and salami at like
[11:23] Speaker 2: that was the hours, like pie and c not cigar.
[11:30] Speaker 1: For breakfast. Yere like the Croatian your builders made to
[11:33] Speaker 1: Croatian and their fathers will drink recki first thing in
[11:37] Speaker 1: the morning, have shots and drink it right through the
[11:39] Speaker 1: day when they're working.
[11:40] Speaker 2: I'd like that is it the Spanish that have the
[11:43] Speaker 2: ces where you have the lunch time break.
[11:46] Speaker 1: You do from like a from about mid about one
[11:48] Speaker 1: o'clock to three o'clock, they have.
[11:50] Speaker 2: Two hours, have a two hour break, stop working everything
[11:53] Speaker 2: and then you work a bit later.
[11:55] Speaker 1: But the Spanish, I mean Spanish culture, it's really interesting
[11:58] Speaker 1: when you go there, particularly more around as opposed up
[12:03] Speaker 1: north through in Catalonia, but down around the castiles around
[12:06] Speaker 1: Madrid and everything they get there. Generally their life is
[12:10] Speaker 1: if you go for a night out, you go to
[12:12] Speaker 1: a bar, then after that you go to at ten
[12:15] Speaker 1: o'clock you go to like a discotheque or something like
[12:17] Speaker 1: that at one o'clock. They've got the early opening nightclubs,
[12:21] Speaker 1: and then there's nightclubs that open at three am. You
[12:25] Speaker 1: just go there. There's people who are immaculately dressed just
[12:27] Speaker 1: to sleep, sleep in the gaters.
[12:29] Speaker 2: My brother, he now lives in Finland, but he lived
[12:32] Speaker 2: in Prague and Berlin, which like massive party countries, and
[12:36] Speaker 2: they would literally go out at three am, like like
[12:39] Speaker 2: if you were going out to live in PM that's early.
[12:41] Speaker 2: So you're like, you're nocturnal.
[12:43] Speaker 3: That is weird and what are they are?
[12:45] Speaker 1: Their work hours different, so they're still the siesta in
[12:50] Speaker 1: the middle of the day. That's what prolongs them. So
[12:52] Speaker 1: the syester generally, the siester is you're supposed to go
[12:55] Speaker 1: home and sleep. It's the hottest part of the day.
[12:58] Speaker 2: In Spain, I go straight to the each Yeah, I think, yes,
[13:02] Speaker 2: that's what most people will be doing.
[13:03] Speaker 1: But North versus South, Northern Italians discriminate, they say against
[13:06] Speaker 1: Southern Italians around Naples. They discribe it from people from Napoli.
[13:12] Speaker 3: My dad's got heaps of facts.
[13:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, I like this, what are the facts? Throw a
[13:16] Speaker 2: fact at me about.
[13:18] Speaker 1: Justin on him? I wonder what's been going on with
[13:24] Speaker 1: a lot of that sort of rap scene. We're talking
[13:26] Speaker 1: during the Diddy Files and man peel and scap back
[13:29] Speaker 1: on that. There'd be some people even uh facts, Okay,
[13:33] Speaker 1: you said about Lidley and red wine. At different points
[13:37] Speaker 1: in Italian history, the water was contaminated post World War
[13:41] Speaker 1: one and around World War two, and at different times
[13:45] Speaker 1: when Vesuvius would would go off around Naples and there'd
[13:48] Speaker 1: be colera breakout, things like that, the mothers would give
[13:51] Speaker 1: their children red wine to drink.
[13:54] Speaker 2: Brist smell in bottles because they couldn't have water. It
[13:58] Speaker 2: couldn't have water, so they're drunk at zero.
[14:01] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why I suppose it, you know, that's why
[14:05] Speaker 1: when they get up at ten am and they're having
[14:07] Speaker 1: cheeseboard and red war.
[14:09] Speaker 2: They've been been doing it since they were.
[14:11] Speaker 1: Toddling, since Julius Caesar days.
[14:15] Speaker 3: That's it seems illegal.
[14:16] Speaker 1: Illegal, Well they would if you get caught, But doesn't
[14:21] Speaker 1: it Also.
[14:21] Speaker 2: With the baby, there's a thing where you put a
[14:23] Speaker 2: little bit of whiskey in the milk and.
[14:27] Speaker 1: Sleep, make him sleep.
[14:28] Speaker 2: Yeah, old bottle.
[14:31] Speaker 3: Obviously we're not we're not medical professionals.
[14:35] Speaker 2: Speak for yourself, don't take anything.
[14:38] Speaker 1: And of course, if you're pregnant, guys, don't drink.
[14:41] Speaker 3: Did you watch any of Coach Elli yesterday the music festival.
[14:45] Speaker 2: None. See. I'm a big Justin Bieber fan.
[14:49] Speaker 3: She might be the biggest believer that you've ever heard.
[14:52] Speaker 1: I'm more of a rock and roll man.
[14:53] Speaker 2: Yeah, rolling Stones, rolling.
[15:00] Speaker 1: Queen, kiss a kid, yeah, like kiss, like Queen, sort
[15:03] Speaker 1: of more Oasis, Oh yeah, I love the British music.
[15:07] Speaker 3: Wonder any keel do?
[15:13] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[15:13] Speaker 2: Okay, Well I've been a believer since he was like fifteen,
[15:17] Speaker 2: so it's a long time. So yesterday I had a
[15:19] Speaker 2: few friends over and I drissed up as him. Oh yep,
[15:21] Speaker 2: And I was like watching it and just disbelieve. But
[15:25] Speaker 2: I was a little bit disappointed because he didn't play
[15:28] Speaker 2: his old school bangers. But then someone was saying there
[15:30] Speaker 2: was some legalities around it, but he sold the I
[15:34] Speaker 2: don't know, don't take this, but so he couldn't. So
[15:36] Speaker 2: he just sung a lot of his new music and
[15:38] Speaker 2: I wanted like, but he.
[15:39] Speaker 3: Actually like he had his laptop. There a lot of controversy,
[15:43] Speaker 3: and he shared his laptop screen to the big screen
[15:45] Speaker 3: and just played YouTube videos of himself and sang along
[15:49] Speaker 3: with himself, which is awesome.
[15:50] Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, I think it's cool. And then he
[15:52] Speaker 2: started playing memes like he played that like Double Rainbow,
[15:57] Speaker 2: Random Laptop.
[15:59] Speaker 3: You know what he played where he played the Crazy
[16:01] Speaker 3: dog Man from today? You remember that?
[16:02] Speaker 1: Oh? Is that?
[16:04] Speaker 4: No?
[16:04] Speaker 1: They didn't?
[16:04] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I was like, no, I'm watching it.
[16:08] Speaker 1: It's people said they sell all their songs. They had
[16:11] Speaker 1: their whole thing to sell them off. The Beatles did
[16:13] Speaker 1: the same. You know who bought all the Beetles stuff
[16:15] Speaker 1: all there, all their Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson did.
[16:18] Speaker 2: But what does that mean if they buy all this,
[16:20] Speaker 2: they can never play them in like stadiums.
[16:22] Speaker 3: It was like the licenses, so like basically every time
[16:24] Speaker 3: it's played on radio and whatever, like that period where
[16:27] Speaker 3: the license ends, maybe it's a whole year and a
[16:30] Speaker 3: radio wants to play a certain song, they all that
[16:33] Speaker 3: money goes directly to the owner, not the person who
[16:36] Speaker 3: created it.
[16:36] Speaker 2: Why would they do that if they knew that they
[16:38] Speaker 2: were bangers?
[16:39] Speaker 1: I think Michael at the time when Boodles sold the
[16:41] Speaker 1: Beetles had we're going through a real dip in the eighties,
[16:44] Speaker 1: and Beetles through the eighties were really uncool. They had
[16:47] Speaker 1: a real return around the early to mid nineties, but
[16:50] Speaker 1: during that point Paul McCartney just went, oh, you know what.
[16:53] Speaker 1: I think he might have sold it for something like
[16:55] Speaker 1: fifty million, which at the time he probably thought, oh
[16:58] Speaker 1: that's pretty good. Yeah. I think he ended up buying
[17:01] Speaker 1: it back for might have been three hundred million, which
[17:03] Speaker 1: a pretty good deal. Bis now, because what you know,
[17:07] Speaker 1: if you hand over your songs to somebody else, they
[17:09] Speaker 1: sell them to advertisers, they appear in movies, yeah, stuff
[17:13] Speaker 1: like that, so the songs in some ways get used
[17:15] Speaker 1: and abused. People generally started to read it.
[17:18] Speaker 2: I don't know if it's true, obviously, don't take this
[17:20] Speaker 2: for fact for me, but that's what people saying about
[17:22] Speaker 2: Bieber And that's why he went on YouTube and he
[17:24] Speaker 2: was just playing like forty sixond snippets of his old
[17:27] Speaker 2: songs from YouTube and then singing along a little bit
[17:30] Speaker 2: to them so then he could play Yeah, so he
[17:33] Speaker 2: could still get away with that.
[17:34] Speaker 3: Were people very happy that he had YouTube premiums so
[17:36] Speaker 3: they didn't have to sit through the ads the whole time.
[17:38] Speaker 3: Can you imagine that at the festival and then just
[17:40] Speaker 3: like one of those thirty second ads for like insurance
[17:42] Speaker 3: comes on?
[17:43] Speaker 2: Yeahs right now? Or you gog zero?
[17:46] Speaker 1: Who's if I gave you, like, okay, what what set
[17:52] Speaker 1: list or songs artists would you buy? I had? If
[17:55] Speaker 1: I just gave it? You can buy anybodies. There's one
[17:58] Speaker 1: hundred million go out.
[17:59] Speaker 2: Right now, now, right now to make the most money,
[18:02] Speaker 2: or just.
[18:02] Speaker 1: Because you want to, because you throw all things in.
[18:05] Speaker 1: It's up to you. You can pick the artist and
[18:08] Speaker 1: you take your songs.
[18:10] Speaker 2: I wouldn't want to take them off Bieber because I
[18:11] Speaker 2: love him that much. But going by the way, he
[18:15] Speaker 2: looked really healthy. Guys, this is the last time he looks.
[18:20] Speaker 2: I know, he looked really healthy. He was smiling. My
[18:24] Speaker 2: close personal friend Justin.
[18:25] Speaker 3: Bieba Lou messaged him on Instagram as Earl yesterday.
[18:29] Speaker 2: Miss and I said, I know, I see what do
[18:32] Speaker 2: I say to her? My missus whom I said, I said,
[18:36] Speaker 2: great seat last night, killed it King double Rainbow.
[18:42] Speaker 5: Lawyer expectations kid l in touch with him Dad, because
[18:46] Speaker 5: when I get drunk sometimes I'll message someone like you
[18:48] Speaker 5: might actually message Ella Langley the other day like a
[18:50] Speaker 5: country music singer.
[18:52] Speaker 3: She's she's twenty six, the same age as me how
[18:55] Speaker 3: followers as she got like she could prote five million.
[18:58] Speaker 2: Okay, maybe she'll get back to you.
[19:02] Speaker 3: I said something so weird too. I don't know what
[19:04] Speaker 3: I was thinking. Yeah, of course dad message. I remember
[19:09] Speaker 3: remember when we went through your phone and Dad was
[19:12] Speaker 3: really drunk and he messages Lean Gallagher. But like, seriously,
[19:17] Speaker 3: it was a mate, big fan from Australia here. I
[19:21] Speaker 3: used to live in the North of England, like tell
[19:22] Speaker 3: him his whole life story. I played rugby league and
[19:25] Speaker 3: like all this stuff. Yeah, it was fully, it was
[19:28] Speaker 3: like kind of it was kind of rogue. We said, Dad,
[19:31] Speaker 3: you know your message? Lee Galliger said, oh did I that?
[19:33] Speaker 1: Had the police knock on the Doddle the next morning? Yeah,
[19:37] Speaker 1: issued be an av.
[19:38] Speaker 3: Yeah, I said, Hey, going to a rodeo soon and
[19:41] Speaker 3: have a spare ticket if you want to come with.
[19:44] Speaker 3: It's in Australia. But so let me know. I hope
[19:47] Speaker 3: you've been well. Send the fan moca.
[19:50] Speaker 1: Ion.
[19:51] Speaker 2: Also, if you saw that you had good sense of humor,
[19:53] Speaker 2: you'd probably laugh. Yeah, that's a good message, rather than.
[19:56] Speaker 3: Be like, hey you up yeah, well yeah, I feel
[19:58] Speaker 3: like want to feel that means what that is? Are
[20:03] Speaker 3: you up?
[20:03] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[20:05] Speaker 3: Can you explain a Matthew, what that actually what I
[20:07] Speaker 3: actually means?
[20:07] Speaker 2: So hoy you up? As like you'd probably seen that
[20:09] Speaker 2: ticks message around to a girl. Yeah, one, two, three, am,
[20:13] Speaker 2: okay ay you up? Kind of means come over a
[20:16] Speaker 2: booty call?
[20:17] Speaker 3: Yes, how did booty call back in the day? Would
[20:20] Speaker 3: you like bring the home phone.
[20:22] Speaker 2: Or wouldn't you just have to be like meet me
[20:23] Speaker 2: here at or you're not acting like you from the
[20:27] Speaker 2: meet me here by by dozars nights, I shall pass the.
[20:33] Speaker 1: Only times is upon us. Let's go and watch one
[20:36] Speaker 1: of those talkie movies.
[20:38] Speaker 3: He would write by hand to a pigeon.
[20:40] Speaker 4: This you would have to be like, all right, let's
[20:42] Speaker 4: go on a date and you can't look what you
[20:45] Speaker 4: do is tell me if I if I went there, like,
[20:47] Speaker 4: let's imagine I went out, I found this lovely girl
[20:51] Speaker 4: called Pam Richards say, right, yeah, very specific.
[20:58] Speaker 1: The bar and honestly, I'm not talking not, I'm not
[21:01] Speaker 1: and and so I'd have to go, oh yeah, So
[21:04] Speaker 1: I'd have to go open up the phone book, right,
[21:07] Speaker 1: the Newcastle phone book, and you'd scan all the way
[21:09] Speaker 1: down the Richards Richard's Richard Richard Richard. There might be yeah,
[21:12] Speaker 1: two hundred.
[21:13] Speaker 2: Of them her parents name, wouldn't you You have to
[21:16] Speaker 2: know the.
[21:16] Speaker 1: Parents or you'd have to guess. You go, oh it
[21:19] Speaker 1: was Newcastle. There's one in Qatar ring hello here you
[21:22] Speaker 1: going he's Pam there? Sorry? Who Okay, the next one
[21:26] Speaker 1: and you just go through. I was lucky when I
[21:28] Speaker 1: met Trish and we went there and I went, okay,
[21:32] Speaker 1: I've got to go to the phone book and find
[21:33] Speaker 1: the name. Now, okay, how many magnoca valves are there?
[21:38] Speaker 1: And there were three? Yeah, So I ring and I
[21:40] Speaker 1: said it's Patricia and Tricia mumy answered it and she goes, no, no,
[21:44] Speaker 1: Patricia doesn't live here anymore. And I went, oh, yeah,
[21:46] Speaker 1: any chance I get a number? And he goes, oh,
[21:47] Speaker 1: she went yeah, yeah, yeah, just passed it on. But
[21:49] Speaker 1: that's how beautiful you'd actually you'd have to ring on
[21:52] Speaker 1: the landline and so they would be they'd pick up
[21:55] Speaker 1: the phone and you'd be having a conversation and you'd
[21:57] Speaker 1: hear all the parents in the background. The parents could
[21:59] Speaker 1: be sitting there watching TV and you're on the phone
[22:02] Speaker 1: just chatting away.
[22:03] Speaker 2: Because you buy it's corded as well, it's back in
[22:06] Speaker 2: those days. And also isn't that nice? Like now you
[22:10] Speaker 2: can just send one DM Maurista's history. You've put in
[22:13] Speaker 2: a bit of effort. You know, you meet someone behind
[22:16] Speaker 2: the bar and you go meet me for dinner at
[22:18] Speaker 2: five pm at the old celt saloon and old tavern.
[22:21] Speaker 1: Yes, yes, saloon. There's a history of it as well.
[22:25] Speaker 3: You can go back and have a look. My my
[22:27] Speaker 3: partner went and had to look the other day. What
[22:28] Speaker 3: my first message was to her?
[22:30] Speaker 1: I asked her if she likes olives?
[22:32] Speaker 2: Oh really? What was your reasoning behind that? Did she
[22:35] Speaker 2: posts an olive photo?
[22:36] Speaker 1: Must have?
[22:37] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[22:38] Speaker 1: I've got chat, you'll learn that real quick.
[22:40] Speaker 2: I know what it would have been. She would have
[22:42] Speaker 2: posted like a martini and it's got an olive hanging
[22:45] Speaker 2: out of it, applied to the story, saying do you
[22:48] Speaker 2: like all of it?
[22:48] Speaker 3: I'd like to think so, but it could have It
[22:50] Speaker 3: could have just been out of nowhere, just randomly.
[22:52] Speaker 2: Do you like?
[22:58] Speaker 1: You bringing there and you're talking to the old man,
[23:01] Speaker 1: go yeah, yeah, who's this Steve Jobs? And yeah she's here.
[23:10] Speaker 1: What do you want to speak to about? Ohs out
[23:12] Speaker 1: the other night? And they sometimes say to it yeah yeah, yeah, okay, okay,
[23:16] Speaker 1: she's here, but just you.
[23:17] Speaker 2: Know, and you go okay, So you have to go
[23:19] Speaker 2: through all of that, but go through the parents first.
[23:21] Speaker 3: Could you ever, like would you ever ring like we
[23:25] Speaker 3: talk about modern day booty calling when people were ring drunk,
[23:28] Speaker 3: like ring an EXE girl friend or ring someone? Would
[23:31] Speaker 3: you do that with the home phone?
[23:32] Speaker 2: How would you be a little difficult if the dad
[23:35] Speaker 2: picking up going a lot?
[23:37] Speaker 1: So let him know I'm going to be over. I
[23:39] Speaker 1: know it's one am, but the nightclub is just shutting
[23:42] Speaker 1: round calling for a bit of a booty caller. You
[23:44] Speaker 1: haven't got any jimmies for you, dude? Do you see
[23:46] Speaker 1: you've got any?
[23:50] Speaker 2: I remember, I think we had mobile phones at this point.
[23:53] Speaker 2: I think I must have been like six day. But
[23:55] Speaker 2: for some reason, this bloken Palmi used to always want
[23:58] Speaker 2: to call the home phone. You know, you can pick
[24:00] Speaker 2: it up from the other end, like if you got
[24:02] Speaker 2: two And he used to love that. I don't know
[24:06] Speaker 2: who sung it, and it was sexy Canna that song.
[24:09] Speaker 2: Do you remember that?
[24:11] Speaker 1: I don't think he was.
[24:14] Speaker 2: He was singing it to me, like trying to serenade me,
[24:16] Speaker 2: be like sexy Canna just parted. My man and my
[24:20] Speaker 2: mom picked up the other end and was like Louisa,
[24:22] Speaker 2: and I was like, hung up, he's just serenading me.
[24:27] Speaker 1: Your mom started joining him.
[24:30] Speaker 2: They both start serenading me. I'm like, okay, enough on
[24:33] Speaker 2: the jewy, the heavy breathing.
[24:34] Speaker 1: You get that phone.
[24:39] Speaker 2: Because you could prank phone call a lot. Say. But
[24:44] Speaker 2: remember when the letter box thing was a big thing.
[24:47] Speaker 2: You knock people's letter boxes over. Had a group of
[24:50] Speaker 2: boys and they targeted Franko got so fucked off my dad.
[24:55] Speaker 2: They targeted. They were kind of friends of mine. Targeted
[24:58] Speaker 2: my leader box twice one and they burned it. So
[25:01] Speaker 2: Dad's got straight to Bunnings, gets us another one. Then
[25:05] Speaker 2: about two weeks later they came past.
[25:06] Speaker 3: In a car.
[25:08] Speaker 2: I can't remember. I might put my on what the
[25:09] Speaker 2: sick cap in the second time, but like smacked it off.
[25:12] Speaker 2: Frank is like, who are your friends?
[25:16] Speaker 1: Don't so?
[25:17] Speaker 2: I think At one point he lifts the leader box
[25:20] Speaker 2: like just off for a while, just to be like
[25:23] Speaker 2: I showed them. Yeah, no leader box, now no mail
[25:26] Speaker 2: for us.
[25:26] Speaker 1: Tell a good one. Back in the day we used
[25:28] Speaker 1: to do and it was like an old trick, but
[25:29] Speaker 1: we perfected it. You should get the brown paper bag
[25:33] Speaker 1: just do a massive dump it sometimes even just like
[25:36] Speaker 1: you can conglomerate of ships. Everyone has his ship. Then
[25:39] Speaker 1: just basically do in the bag. Yeah, or you could
[25:43] Speaker 1: you could ship into something else and then chip it
[25:45] Speaker 1: into the bag. It might even be a chip bag
[25:46] Speaker 1: or something like that. And then what you do You
[25:49] Speaker 1: knock on the door, said on fire that the world
[25:51] Speaker 1: to stop.
[25:54] Speaker 2: Said, yeah, I think they're like myths.
[25:56] Speaker 1: No, we did a few times.
[25:58] Speaker 3: It's a good one.
[25:59] Speaker 2: I remembers some one one of my friends shetting on
[26:01] Speaker 2: her exploy friends car. So imagine him waking up like
[26:05] Speaker 2: that with the wind on the windshield.
[26:09] Speaker 1: Was a little bit kinky. We first went out weird, heppy, come.
[26:16] Speaker 2: On, what is it? The golden shower?
[26:21] Speaker 1: Now each other's heads.
[26:24] Speaker 2: I get it, like I don't have a finish, but
[26:25] Speaker 2: I understand, you know, finishes or webs and whatever. But
[26:29] Speaker 2: like pess and ship, Yeah, I don't know what sacred
[26:31] Speaker 2: places for the toilet. I wonder what, Like.
[26:33] Speaker 3: I'd love to get a therapist on it or some
[26:36] Speaker 3: sort of neuroscientist who would understand what goes wrong, like
[26:39] Speaker 3: what happens in someone's life that makes them into that
[26:42] Speaker 3: like something must have happened as they grow up.
[26:43] Speaker 1: Right, Our dear friend, Brian Carney's father, Brian Carney, he's
[26:48] Speaker 1: very left center Man's family's new he's New York. He
[26:52] Speaker 1: actually left. He did a lot of work in Eastern Europe.
[26:56] Speaker 1: Actually worked for yes Arafat for a little bit. And
[26:59] Speaker 1: he's a very learned and he lives over in eastern Hungary,
[27:01] Speaker 1: a town called near a Charger. Out of the blue,
[27:03] Speaker 1: he sent me one day. We're just talking about different
[27:05] Speaker 1: nationalities that go to the hotel that he own't he said,
[27:08] Speaker 1: the Germans are unusual people here, he goes, the Germans
[27:13] Speaker 1: have got real most of Germans got ship fetish. Yeah,
[27:17] Speaker 1: and which makes sense because that nightclub in Berlin, what's
[27:20] Speaker 1: that called? So that nightclub in Berlin they reckon they've
[27:26] Speaker 1: got a fruit refrigerator there and it's men go there
[27:28] Speaker 1: do massive ships and put it and they freeze it
[27:31] Speaker 1: and use it as a dill doll.
[27:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy.
[27:34] Speaker 2: So they're putting a ship shaped up their ass.
[27:39] Speaker 1: If the shoe fits.
[27:44] Speaker 2: Actually makes me want to throw up. The thought of that.
[27:46] Speaker 3: Yeah, I had friend of God in there because it's
[27:48] Speaker 3: like a two hour line to get in. Yeah, one
[27:51] Speaker 3: of those proofs the cool.
[27:55] Speaker 1: Radio friend Cloor.
[27:58] Speaker 3: Is she in the room with this right now? Oh no,
[28:00] Speaker 3: But go to the they go to the bathroom just
[28:03] Speaker 3: like phones, and there's just like people just like standing
[28:06] Speaker 3: in the darkest corner of the bathroom and they'll come
[28:09] Speaker 3: and just like watch you piss. Yeah, like just into like.
[28:11] Speaker 2: We allowed phones. People go and like Thursday and come
[28:14] Speaker 2: out on like a Monday, and there's like six rooms.
[28:16] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like that nightclub where you went to in
[28:19] Speaker 3: Melbourne that time. But that's not that one, you know,
[28:22] Speaker 3: the one we went to meet you and Locky the
[28:24] Speaker 3: first time we were the one that was really dark,
[28:29] Speaker 3: you know, the one you left me. Yeah, Circus.
[28:32] Speaker 2: But you're making to sound like we were in it's not.
[28:35] Speaker 3: It's not a sex club, but it's that kind of vibe.
[28:38] Speaker 3: It's dark.
[28:38] Speaker 2: It's dark. There's this dungey kind of dance floor, and
[28:41] Speaker 2: then we were in there was kind of like a
[28:42] Speaker 2: private room. It's all yeah, you take the one.
[28:48] Speaker 1: In the toilet speaking. You get west of the pub
[28:51] Speaker 1: and I'm standing there having a look, and I'm standing
[28:54] Speaker 1: there and standing there and because when you get past
[28:55] Speaker 1: fifty sometimes it just takes you the envy you guys
[28:59] Speaker 1: so much, and this play goes, oh mate, how do
[29:02] Speaker 1: you be? There be many evans started pissing. It turned
[29:04] Speaker 1: over my shoulder and he's actually filming me.
[29:06] Speaker 2: Did he get your penis?
[29:07] Speaker 1: And I don't know? I went, I said, may you're
[29:12] Speaker 1: right and you haven't started pissing yet, And I said, yeah,
[29:15] Speaker 1: I've got a feeling I might have. Getting a prostate
[29:17] Speaker 1: checked it might be sort of well, it's.
[29:19] Speaker 2: You could sue him for there? Yeah, was it best
[29:23] Speaker 2: traits he was?
[29:24] Speaker 3: It was.
[29:26] Speaker 1: I'm thinking of the front like the Daily Mail, John
[29:28] Speaker 1: sues me for filming him pissing.
[29:30] Speaker 3: Well, you know, there was a guy in Bali.
[29:32] Speaker 1: I remember that.
[29:33] Speaker 3: It was like it got leaked. He was selling pictures
[29:35] Speaker 3: of like just people's penises. He'd go next to him
[29:39] Speaker 3: and like film and whole and got a heap of
[29:40] Speaker 3: penis shots and like three of the n L boys
[29:43] Speaker 3: were on there. One of my good friends was actually
[29:45] Speaker 3: on the picture. And it was like this dark web,
[29:48] Speaker 3: but he would sell people's penises.
[29:50] Speaker 2: Like no, but those meta glasses now it's a bit scary.
[29:55] Speaker 2: You could be in the bathroom and just straight looked down.
[29:58] Speaker 2: No one knows. I just think you were in glass
[30:00] Speaker 2: us is.
[30:01] Speaker 3: I've got them, I haven't used them for that.
[30:02] Speaker 1: Where's the world going to? Where we just want to?
[30:08] Speaker 3: And also what was the album?
[30:10] Speaker 1: You would have bought.
[30:14] Speaker 2: Itavan's on the podcast where we mean while we jump
[30:16] Speaker 2: around and go off, I would I, like I said,
[30:18] Speaker 2: I wouldn't have bought Beeber's because I love him too much.
[30:21] Speaker 2: I think right now, Olivia Dean's would be hot property,
[30:25] Speaker 2: so I think i'd probably take hers. Maybe the read
[30:30] Speaker 2: hot chili peepers as well in terms of cash, like
[30:32] Speaker 2: they're always going to have their bangers and they'll always
[30:34] Speaker 2: be Yes, Coops, I stole yours.
[30:40] Speaker 3: Maybe Bruce Springsteen that would be enormous. I really love
[30:43] Speaker 3: Bruce Springsteen. That'd be good, Like Olivia Dean's good.
[30:46] Speaker 2: You can't take mine, No, not going to We're not
[30:50] Speaker 2: in business to keep it right. You can't take mine.
[30:54] Speaker 1: Actually, we've got a good question for you after this,
[30:56] Speaker 1: and he's going to send a little left of center.
[30:59] Speaker 1: But trust me, Dolly Parton, You'll imagine how massive that
[31:04] Speaker 1: would be.
[31:04] Speaker 2: Nine to five, nine to five.
[31:06] Speaker 1: Joline, Yeah, here it comes, here, I come again, Here
[31:11] Speaker 1: he comes again.
[31:12] Speaker 3: Islands and Aust.
[31:15] Speaker 1: Written by the Great Beary GiB By the way.
[31:17] Speaker 2: There have been so many movies as well, movies and
[31:20] Speaker 2: just down south.
[31:21] Speaker 1: I think in the history they do their IQ's cause,
[31:25] Speaker 1: you know, on people to say their likability. I think
[31:27] Speaker 1: in the history of them doing that, she's number one. Still.
[31:30] Speaker 2: Yeah, she never really done anything wrong.
[31:32] Speaker 1: She's a champion. Yeah.
[31:33] Speaker 2: You know who else seems so lovely? Pamela Anderson. Yeah,
[31:37] Speaker 2: she seems so lovely.
[31:40] Speaker 1: Really, I met her years ago. Yeah, she came on.
[31:45] Speaker 1: She had paid in the arts manager who literally came
[31:48] Speaker 1: in beforehand. And this is why some celebrities get a
[31:50] Speaker 1: bad name, aren't fairly The manager walked in and said,
[31:53] Speaker 1: let you know, no staring at her, don't go up
[31:56] Speaker 1: and approach her off your hand or anything like that.
[31:58] Speaker 1: We're like, okkay, much was fantastic.
[32:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's like, yeah, I know maners.
[32:05] Speaker 3: My question my question to you, and you said you've
[32:07] Speaker 3: been getting this question a lot lately, given though you
[32:10] Speaker 3: know the direction exactly of the Carl and Jackie O show.
[32:15] Speaker 3: Throw a money figure out there. If Kyle was to
[32:17] Speaker 3: come to you to lure you away from charge, what
[32:20] Speaker 3: what figure would he have to offer to get you
[32:22] Speaker 3: away from.
[32:22] Speaker 2: CHARGI maybe like an internship just anything. I get this
[32:30] Speaker 2: all the time.
[32:30] Speaker 3: You see, You've been getting it a lot lately.
[32:32] Speaker 2: People just got how much for you to go work with? Kyle,
[32:34] Speaker 2: I'm like nothing, no figure Like Jarge and I have
[32:37] Speaker 2: the best relationship and friendship work wise, everything. I'm like,
[32:41] Speaker 2: I wouldn't want to just throw that away.
[32:43] Speaker 1: He's on the trip together exactly, but.
[32:45] Speaker 2: One hundred million, Kyle like exactly.
[32:49] Speaker 3: You guys are lucky. My hang on, my mices, cut out.
[32:52] Speaker 3: You guys are lucky. You guys have I suppose you
[32:54] Speaker 3: you guys didn't get put together for the sake of
[32:57] Speaker 3: starting the potty. You guys became friends first, and then
[32:59] Speaker 3: it was most like, oh we should just start a podcasting.
[33:02] Speaker 2: Yeah. I think that's why it works because we were
[33:04] Speaker 2: actually friends, you know, like you guys know, like you
[33:07] Speaker 2: were on a media. A lot of them are just
[33:08] Speaker 2: put together and it's just like seems all sunshine and rainbows.
[33:12] Speaker 2: But I couldn't do it like when you know and
[33:15] Speaker 2: there have like I have a little tef. It's actually
[33:18] Speaker 2: just like funny and funny games and we can if
[33:20] Speaker 2: we had something seriously wrong, we could chat about it.
[33:22] Speaker 2: But you can tell those on your duos when it's
[33:25] Speaker 2: actually proper beef and it just sounds so like you're like, oh,
[33:28] Speaker 2: I wouldnt want to be in that room, and then
[33:30] Speaker 2: you're thinking the producers dealing with it.
[33:31] Speaker 1: After how bad? Like imag you're on with a person
[33:35] Speaker 1: you don't know and you do an ergy joke which
[33:38] Speaker 1: you and they just go, oh, look, that's inappropriate. I'd
[33:41] Speaker 1: quit on the spot. Yeah, and then work with this
[33:43] Speaker 1: pain in the ass.
[33:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it happens a lot.
[33:46] Speaker 3: Yeah, you're lucky too with your show.
[33:48] Speaker 1: Do you got there?
[33:49] Speaker 3: Obviously? You got your son here, who, like I feel
[33:51] Speaker 3: like we're not father and son, we're almost like best friends.
[33:54] Speaker 2: What about Okay, okay, yeah I'm here too.
[33:58] Speaker 3: There we go Jack as well. But Jack sort of
[34:00] Speaker 3: fights with us, like he if anyone, he probably fights
[34:04] Speaker 3: more so with us than anyone. Like me and Dad
[34:07] Speaker 3: don't really fight too much. But Jack, you probably Jack Jack?
[34:10] Speaker 2: What does he fight with you?
[34:11] Speaker 1: Jack always been the glue in the family.
[34:13] Speaker 3: They could be pains in the ass.
[34:16] Speaker 2: These two. Yeah, I don't know how you put up
[34:18] Speaker 2: with her.
[34:19] Speaker 1: Jack has always been the glue in the Yeah.
[34:22] Speaker 2: You need that. Someone's got to be the family.
[34:26] Speaker 3: Can we also shout out your boyfriend Luckey who's now
[34:29] Speaker 3: Locky Dad loves listen to it. Not a rugby league
[34:32] Speaker 3: man from Melbourne Country Victoria played AFL but just listen
[34:37] Speaker 3: to our podcast but has no when we talk Footy
[34:40] Speaker 3: has no idea what we're talking about, but loves it.
[34:42] Speaker 2: And he loves the your show as well, like I'll
[34:45] Speaker 2: come out and he's just got it on every like
[34:48] Speaker 2: watching hind he fletch you like, he's just cackling, giggling
[34:52] Speaker 2: and do you know what story he it's like his
[34:55] Speaker 2: party trick, your neighbor who came on and told the
[34:59] Speaker 2: story about the omelet. He thought it was the hot
[35:02] Speaker 2: towel and he threw it over. So he's not a
[35:05] Speaker 2: media guy, he's not.
[35:08] Speaker 3: He's our neighbor.
[35:10] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[35:10] Speaker 2: He the way he can speak was un like we
[35:14] Speaker 2: were listening to being like this guy should be on
[35:16] Speaker 2: like TV.
[35:17] Speaker 3: He works in commercial Okay there.
[35:21] Speaker 1: He was such a great guy. He's a tremendous fella
[35:25] Speaker 1: and he's just a great storytelling natural storytelling. Yeah, he's great.
[35:29] Speaker 3: He is so funny.
[35:30] Speaker 2: But lock he listens to like you're his number one podcast. Wow,
[35:34] Speaker 2: and he's not like he doesn't even know. He knows
[35:36] Speaker 2: a bit of n r L.
[35:37] Speaker 3: But like the only thing he knew when we first
[35:40] Speaker 3: met because we were I knew Lou, We've done some
[35:42] Speaker 3: stuff together, and then we were in I was in
[35:45] Speaker 3: Melbourne for something and you guys were in Melbourne, come
[35:47] Speaker 3: have a be met Lockeye And the only thing rugby
[35:50] Speaker 3: he knew was Steve Maddee. It's just it's just what
[35:55] Speaker 3: all he wanted to ask questions about was Steve Maddeye
[35:57] Speaker 3: obviously just big hit man, must have just see highlights
[36:00] Speaker 3: of him. That was all he knew. Nothing else.
[36:02] Speaker 1: Well, so the thing about it our Sunday and Thursday
[36:05] Speaker 1: shows Fox the rebularly shows, but rugby league is just
[36:08] Speaker 1: basically the vehicle our relationships. It's just a lot of
[36:13] Speaker 1: fun like and again talking about people you work with
[36:17] Speaker 1: like Fletch and Hindi and guys like Gordon's that's greats
[36:21] Speaker 1: When we have the break during the off season where
[36:23] Speaker 1: we don't see each other for about ten weeks, Oh mate,
[36:27] Speaker 1: we just miss each other that Yeah, it's just we've
[36:29] Speaker 1: been behind so many times together.
[36:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, but hind he's after us at Triple Air. He's
[36:37] Speaker 2: so nice, like it's just the nicest person.
[36:40] Speaker 4: He is.
[36:42] Speaker 3: Terrific.
[36:44] Speaker 2: I was we were watching one of the series and
[36:46] Speaker 2: it was I don't know how old it was, but
[36:47] Speaker 2: you'd stolen his new boat.
[36:50] Speaker 1: That was about the first series. That'd be ten years ago.
[36:53] Speaker 2: Okay, we were watching that the other day and like
[36:55] Speaker 2: he's like.
[36:56] Speaker 3: Tears, like you just kept throughout you were fishing off,
[37:00] Speaker 3: brought a live octopus.
[37:01] Speaker 1: And cut out the watermelons, and then we accidentally cut
[37:04] Speaker 1: his the leather on his seat suit and we only
[37:07] Speaker 1: found out later on cost him like eight green stuff
[37:11] Speaker 1: like that.
[37:12] Speaker 2: You know, like some people actually get angry. Was that
[37:14] Speaker 2: like all fun and games that they paid cleaner and
[37:16] Speaker 2: all that? That one wasn't I was pretty annoyed.
[37:19] Speaker 1: Yeah, he was. Yeah.
[37:20] Speaker 3: Remember and then not long after, you stole his car, remember,
[37:24] Speaker 3: and then you use the same thing. You got a
[37:27] Speaker 3: I don't know if it was an octopus or a
[37:29] Speaker 3: squid or like a raw fish, and you've just left
[37:31] Speaker 3: it in there and then it like completely stunk the
[37:34] Speaker 3: car out to get like proper platinum clean. He's picked
[37:37] Speaker 3: his kids up from school and we're just giving them
[37:39] Speaker 3: all these snacks and they were just throwing it around
[37:40] Speaker 3: the back.
[37:45] Speaker 1: He's a great guy. So yeah, back to that, you
[37:47] Speaker 1: like Judge, I did I met Judge. I think for
[37:50] Speaker 1: the first time when he came here. That'd been I
[37:53] Speaker 1: think it was we had that night.
[37:56] Speaker 3: Remember when we went to the footy at Alliance Stadium
[37:59] Speaker 3: and then him cheat went back to Jesus House.
[38:02] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean watched and.
[38:04] Speaker 3: Charts was there. Yeah, you were talking about four hours
[38:08] Speaker 3: just about Steve made Yeah, obsess actually on Locky as well.
[38:12] Speaker 3: He's so Lockie started this new social media page. He's
[38:15] Speaker 3: the president of piss Trays. That's what it's called piss
[38:18] Speaker 3: Trays now. It is actually so funny. All he does
[38:23] Speaker 3: is any pub he's at having a beer, he'll go
[38:25] Speaker 3: into the toilet and review the piss tray.
[38:27] Speaker 2: And he'll do videos or he'll just take he that
[38:30] Speaker 2: does a video or photos and like the captions. He's
[38:33] Speaker 2: such a good rider. Or then if he's doing a video,
[38:35] Speaker 2: he's like, good, hey, guys down here at the pub,
[38:37] Speaker 2: like here we go. We've got this perstrated because he's
[38:39] Speaker 2: a plumber. He's like four by four, it's got for
[38:41] Speaker 2: and it just it's gone five.
[38:43] Speaker 3: Yeah, that is cool. It's actually but like you said,
[38:46] Speaker 3: he has a way with words, like he'll write like
[38:49] Speaker 3: a essay and in.
[38:50] Speaker 1: Depth with it. Lovely turn a phrase. I've got one
[38:54] Speaker 1: for Locke if he goes into We used to do
[38:58] Speaker 1: this in night clubs Et says, not nightclub, there's only
[39:01] Speaker 1: one there, but you're going you know the lollies City.
[39:04] Speaker 3: The fresh cakes.
[39:06] Speaker 1: Yeah, so they're so toxic and so full of chemicals.
[39:10] Speaker 1: We used to take them and then crush them on
[39:12] Speaker 1: the dance floor and literally it would clear the nightclub.
[39:15] Speaker 1: Like honestly, there'd be people almost burning your nostrils.
[39:17] Speaker 2: It was because they just be so are they just
[39:21] Speaker 2: soak up pea.
[39:22] Speaker 3: It's like the smell. Though it's also like to mask
[39:25] Speaker 3: because if you've.
[39:26] Speaker 2: Been drinking beers since twelve and then till midnight, Yeah,
[39:29] Speaker 2: that's some dehydrated urine, doesn't it.
[39:31] Speaker 3: Yeah, it is.
[39:32] Speaker 2: Really.
[39:33] Speaker 3: There's a trick of I think you can if you
[39:36] Speaker 3: I mean, you don't want to if hands covered in piscee,
[39:38] Speaker 3: but if you flip it, oh you wouldn't want to
[39:40] Speaker 3: touch it.
[39:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, just take some chopsticks in.
[39:46] Speaker 2: Its not being your job having to go pick those
[39:48] Speaker 2: up and change because you change them, wouldn't you or
[39:50] Speaker 2: they just leave them there forever cool.
[39:52] Speaker 3: I think the key is it was actually on Ted,
[39:55] Speaker 3: the movie Ted. You know, the weird guy and Ted
[39:58] Speaker 3: the Teddy Bear with and the weird guy that abducts
[40:01] Speaker 3: his job is the flipper of cakes. Yeah, and he
[40:05] Speaker 3: says in the movie. I don't know how accurate it is,
[40:06] Speaker 3: but he says a lot of cleaners flip the cakes
[40:09] Speaker 3: where he replaces him with fresh ones.
[40:11] Speaker 1: Okay, Cooper, Cooper when he first saw Ted thought it
[40:15] Speaker 1: was a documentary.
[40:16] Speaker 2: You know, I don't know how accurate this is. That's
[40:18] Speaker 2: not a real film, buddy, It's not real, you know.
