[0:00] Speaker 1: Welcome to the John's Family Podcast for this week minus
[0:04] Speaker 1: one minus one.
[0:08] Speaker 2: That's right, Yeah, it is that right, and that's why
[0:11] Speaker 2: I'm producing producing. Yeah, we're bit weird being behind at
[0:19] Speaker 2: this point. Not my best angle as well. I'm having
[0:20] Speaker 2: a look at the camera, look at I can hideous
[0:23] Speaker 2: over here as well.
[0:24] Speaker 3: Guys, hey, don't swear otherwise it'll be more editing for you.
[0:27] Speaker 2: I'm not. I won't edit swear words today, so you
[0:29] Speaker 2: just can literally go for go because I'm not I'm
[0:31] Speaker 2: not that good on the editing edit. No, no, I'm
[0:33] Speaker 2: not that strong.
[0:34] Speaker 3: Yes, yes, we'll swearing then please.
[0:36] Speaker 2: Well, basically, what's what's happened is Jack has had a
[0:40] Speaker 2: little blow up and he said, well you can do
[0:43] Speaker 2: it your bloody selves.
[0:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, well that's fine. It's fine if you can do
[0:46] Speaker 1: the editing in the filming, no piece of piss and
[0:49] Speaker 1: we save money. Perfect.
[0:51] Speaker 2: Hang on, no, no, no, If if I'm doing that,
[0:54] Speaker 2: I'm adopting two salaries.
[0:57] Speaker 3: You will get a salary.
[0:58] Speaker 1: You'll absorb absorbs some of that.
[1:00] Speaker 2: There would be renumeration, So we'll do the contract negotiations now.
[1:04] Speaker 3: We'll do it after. But in positive news later today,
[1:08] Speaker 3: I'm picking up our new puppy, A.
[1:10] Speaker 1: New puppy, Yeah, Luigi, Luigi looking forward to little Louis,
[1:15] Speaker 1: to his mates.
[1:16] Speaker 2: That'll put a smile on your face, won't it? Cover?
[1:18] Speaker 1: Yeah, well it will it will you hope?
[1:21] Speaker 2: So not much puts a smile on your face these days,
[1:24] Speaker 2: aren't it.
[1:24] Speaker 1: Well, it does easily, it actually, but when someone carries
[1:27] Speaker 1: on like a peanut, it actually gets me in a
[1:30] Speaker 1: shitty mood.
[1:31] Speaker 2: You've I haven't seen you this angry since you got
[1:33] Speaker 2: bummed from business to Economy class.
[1:37] Speaker 1: What about that?
[1:38] Speaker 3: Actually? Could you tell us about that? As an onlook
[1:40] Speaker 3: at Cooper, that's what you saw.
[1:43] Speaker 1: Saw He only saw the very back end. He didn't
[1:46] Speaker 1: see what happened.
[1:47] Speaker 2: Well, the good thing, the good thing about it is
[1:50] Speaker 2: I know where Jack gets his blow ups from.
[1:52] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they're totally alike.
[1:53] Speaker 2: Oh they're exactly like. That's why that's why that's so
[1:56] Speaker 2: off him, because he sees himself in not literally, I hope,
[2:00] Speaker 2: but Dad has basically actually done you down. If you
[2:04] Speaker 2: saw your if you saw your block, you understand you're
[2:07] Speaker 2: you're very, very similar and.
[2:08] Speaker 3: You were in a bit of a mood this morning.
[2:10] Speaker 1: Because what are we talking about again?
[2:12] Speaker 2: I don't know you've been from business to a comment.
[2:14] Speaker 1: Where we started, Yeah, well, well what happened. We're in
[2:17] Speaker 1: San Francisco on the layover and we're about to board
[2:22] Speaker 1: the flight, and you know, like one of the one
[2:24] Speaker 1: of the good things is when you go flying Fox Sports,
[2:27] Speaker 1: they stick stick us in business, which is fantastic. So
[2:31] Speaker 1: I actually I can't wait for the flight home because
[2:34] Speaker 1: you aren't going mate, just you know, sit there. I
[2:36] Speaker 1: watch the movies and that sort of stuff. Really exciting anyway, just.
[2:40] Speaker 2: A kid from sasno too, you'd be bored in the business.
[2:43] Speaker 1: We won't talk about what the airline was. Let me
[2:45] Speaker 1: just say the food was well, I wouldn't say it
[2:48] Speaker 1: was Bonnie.
[2:50] Speaker 3: I will say is USA Airlines and horrendous, so far
[2:57] Speaker 3: behind Australian Airlines.
[2:59] Speaker 1: So we kill up to get on and we stand
[3:03] Speaker 1: there and I do the facial recognition. It does beer. Okay,
[3:06] Speaker 1: you have not, but I hand the boarding passed to
[3:10] Speaker 1: the guy. Now he looks, I can see his face.
[3:14] Speaker 1: Rather than being honest with me there and say what's
[3:17] Speaker 1: about to happen? He goes, so can you take a seat? Now?
[3:21] Speaker 1: This must be a policy when they're going to break
[3:23] Speaker 1: news to someone which people aren't going to be happy about.
[3:25] Speaker 1: So the first people go through, the second, the third,
[3:32] Speaker 1: the fourth. I'm actually sitting there by myself, the only
[3:35] Speaker 1: person not bought out outside the gate. Next minute, a
[3:38] Speaker 1: guy gets up, like you're going to shut the gate,
[3:40] Speaker 1: and I go hang on, guys, hang on, and a
[3:42] Speaker 1: guy goes, oh, yeah, yeah, sorry yeah, and he looked
[3:46] Speaker 1: down and goes, I was just letting your nose. So
[3:48] Speaker 1: there was a new addition to the to manifesto, to
[3:53] Speaker 1: the business area and which means we've overbooked and we've
[3:57] Speaker 1: just bumped you down to the economy section, right, And
[4:02] Speaker 1: my response was that was you fucking serious?
[4:06] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[4:07] Speaker 1: And then he went, yes, sir, have a good flight,
[4:09] Speaker 1: move on.
[4:12] Speaker 2: And Dad saw like the incredible whole.
[4:15] Speaker 1: Do you know what if he if he said, if
[4:18] Speaker 1: he just said to me straight from the go listen, mate,
[4:21] Speaker 1: this is what's happened, blah blah blah, I'd actually gone,
[4:24] Speaker 1: no problem. Can you put me next to my two
[4:25] Speaker 1: sons and work something out. You work something out. But
[4:27] Speaker 1: the fact that they waited disrespectful respection.
[4:31] Speaker 2: And I walked you wouldn't have come all the way
[4:34] Speaker 2: back to economy at least they bumped at a premium
[4:36] Speaker 2: economy we were back.
[4:37] Speaker 1: In and they pissed themselves laughing. I go past, a
[4:41] Speaker 1: couple of producers are laughing. The scene of producers laughing
[4:44] Speaker 1: every past every person.
[4:46] Speaker 3: I walked past, steward have something to say to you,
[4:49] Speaker 3: like she was a bit shocked herself when I.
[4:51] Speaker 1: Walked on, and the stewardess goes, hello, sir, how are you?
[4:55] Speaker 1: And I said, I've probably been better. I've been bumped
[5:00] Speaker 1: because someone who's just jumped on this flight at the
[5:01] Speaker 1: last minute. And she went, are you serious? Oh yeah,
[5:06] Speaker 1: She goes, have they given you renumeration or anything?
[5:09] Speaker 2: I know?
[5:10] Speaker 3: Because they offer you hear them over the loudspaker at
[5:13] Speaker 3: the gate sometimes doing that, they'll offer you hear them.
[5:18] Speaker 3: It's a United States things.
[5:20] Speaker 1: I was never offered anything like that. So I'm walking
[5:25] Speaker 1: past everyone's pistons, saws last and see these two Polucas
[5:27] Speaker 1: down there having a laugh. And by that stage, mate, honestly,
[5:30] Speaker 1: I've turned into the whole. I'm ready to tear that
[5:32] Speaker 1: plane apart. So you know, I sat down. The shining
[5:36] Speaker 1: light was the fact that well, I first, I said,
[5:38] Speaker 1: in the wrong suit, same blake, come down and goes, sir,
[5:41] Speaker 1: you're in the wrong. See twenty two, Larry, you're in twenty.
[5:44] Speaker 3: One, Larry.
[5:45] Speaker 1: Were going, fuck you, Larry. So we get up and
[5:47] Speaker 1: then the shining light was the fact that I was
[5:49] Speaker 1: going to sit the next next to Luke Carey and
[5:52] Speaker 1: he's laughing the same thing happened to me. But I
[5:54] Speaker 1: got a fifteen hundred dollars.
[5:55] Speaker 3: Out you yeah, with that ship airline and yeah.
[5:59] Speaker 1: He goes, what about it? And I said, well mate,
[6:02] Speaker 1: I wasn't going to drink it the way home, but
[6:04] Speaker 1: let's just rip in as I did. The stewardess come down.
[6:07] Speaker 1: My shining angel comes down and goes, excuse me, sir,
[6:10] Speaker 1: don't worry. I've looked after it. Oh God, yeah, no worries.
[6:14] Speaker 1: So if you're going to put this, don't flow over
[6:18] Speaker 1: then American Airline.
[6:19] Speaker 3: There are American airlines, not the brand because we're not
[6:25] Speaker 3: labeling and naming the actual airline. But he's an airline
[6:29] Speaker 3: from the US of A, which.
[6:32] Speaker 1: Are not tourists.
[6:33] Speaker 3: They are not good. In the eighties, I remember a
[6:35] Speaker 3: bloody door fell off mid flight.
[6:38] Speaker 1: Well on the on the flight over, I just took
[6:41] Speaker 1: my seat and the lady went asked, what do you
[6:43] Speaker 1: want for lunch, sir, stuff? And I said, oh, I've
[6:45] Speaker 1: just sat in my seat. I haven't had a look yet.
[6:47] Speaker 1: She said, well, so I'm not going to I'm not
[6:49] Speaker 1: going to stand here all day.
[6:50] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[6:51] Speaker 3: I was like, and that's the other one with them. Yeah,
[6:53] Speaker 3: and if they were to come back to you and
[6:54] Speaker 3: then you ask for what you want, so sorry, we
[6:57] Speaker 3: run out of that.
[6:58] Speaker 1: Yeah, well that's what happened. Yeah, that's what happened. Jesus Christ.
[7:02] Speaker 2: You had a week. You had a week. Your son's
[7:04] Speaker 2: walked out on the family family potty. You've been bumped.
[7:09] Speaker 1: You.
[7:09] Speaker 2: Also, they didn't bring our on the plane as we
[7:12] Speaker 2: were leaving. They didn't bring like the customs forms on which.
[7:15] Speaker 3: We believe illegally. Yeah, everything customs get onto that.
[7:20] Speaker 1: We are so sorry they haven't brought it on. You
[7:22] Speaker 1: have to do it when we land not supposed to happen.
[7:25] Speaker 2: Not supposed to happen at all. And the worst part is,
[7:27] Speaker 2: like all you want to do is quickly fill that
[7:28] Speaker 2: thing in and get through customs. Then you've got to
[7:31] Speaker 2: go in and everyone's filling it out and there's a
[7:33] Speaker 2: huge line to get to your bags. It was a
[7:35] Speaker 2: it was a torture trip, said.
[7:39] Speaker 1: Stings on the tail, and of course there was, because
[7:42] Speaker 1: I forgot when you're typing, have you been to South
[7:44] Speaker 1: America or Africa? And I went now and then that
[7:47] Speaker 1: little sticky comes out. I forgot to get stick out.
[7:49] Speaker 2: It takes a picture of you, and then you're supposed
[7:52] Speaker 2: to take it through when you go through like the.
[7:54] Speaker 3: I think because what happened to the boys was that
[7:59] Speaker 3: they said they couldn't process it and they had to
[8:01] Speaker 3: go to a counter. And that happened to me when
[8:03] Speaker 3: I came back from India as well. I reckon, that's
[8:05] Speaker 3: what's happened to you. That's why I don't think it's
[8:07] Speaker 3: spout out a ticket for you.
[8:08] Speaker 2: You definitely definitely someone You're still a yeah. In dad's
[8:15] Speaker 2: old age, he's either two ends of the spectrum. Now
[8:17] Speaker 2: he's either the incredible hole or the incredible sulk. He's
[8:20] Speaker 2: either crying or is in such a rage or it's
[8:24] Speaker 2: just breaking.
[8:25] Speaker 3: You need, Yeah, you need to just settle down. Brother.
[8:29] Speaker 3: I've had a very peaceful life this month and and
[8:33] Speaker 3: all these male energy in the house for the last
[8:35] Speaker 3: two days is seriously killing me. No, your energy is good.
[8:42] Speaker 3: Cooper I'll get you that. Easy to live with, your
[8:46] Speaker 3: easy to work with.
[8:46] Speaker 1: My energy has been good.
[8:48] Speaker 3: No, you've been You've blown up at me three times
[8:52] Speaker 3: since You've been home already for like three days. And
[8:55] Speaker 3: it's not me. And he tries to gaslight me and
[8:58] Speaker 3: say it's it's not me.
[9:00] Speaker 1: Tricia, you had the shits yesterday. You've gone, did your
[9:02] Speaker 1: book your doctor's appointment. I said I was going to
[9:05] Speaker 1: go for a blood tests this morning, but I was
[9:07] Speaker 1: so tired after the long flight. I didn't get up.
[9:09] Speaker 1: But I went this morning first thing.
[9:12] Speaker 3: But you were meant to have that blood test about
[9:14] Speaker 3: two months ago.
[9:14] Speaker 1: Yeah, I just forgot it.
[9:15] Speaker 3: And because what he does. He wakes up a two
[9:17] Speaker 3: o'clock in the morning and starts to eat something, goes,
[9:19] Speaker 3: oh no, now I can't have it in the morning.
[9:22] Speaker 2: You are You are such a bizarre man.
[9:25] Speaker 3: And so I had to go at him and not
[9:26] Speaker 3: taking responsibility for his own health.
[9:29] Speaker 1: Thanks everyone for chicking in. I had a few things.
[9:32] Speaker 1: As I said before, people we share everything in the
[9:34] Speaker 1: podcast at the Allegiant podcast. I've had a few people
[9:37] Speaker 1: get in touch with me. I didn't know I actually
[9:40] Speaker 1: spoke about it on the podcast, but people have been
[9:42] Speaker 1: reaching out saying, oh, I was bleeding from the ass
[9:44] Speaker 1: once too, then get checked out for this and the other. Basically,
[9:48] Speaker 1: people have told me a range of things that I
[9:50] Speaker 1: probably do have, and none of them are good. But
[9:53] Speaker 1: to let you know, people, on Tuesday, I'm going to
[9:56] Speaker 1: get a camera shoved right on my as.
[9:59] Speaker 3: Have they got back to you? No, Well they haven't
[10:01] Speaker 3: got back to meet, so I don't think it is okay.
[10:03] Speaker 2: Well, mentally, Dad, whether he has an appointment or not,
[10:07] Speaker 2: he will have a camera.
[10:13] Speaker 1: And cameras shall meet.
[10:15] Speaker 2: They will meet in the middle.
[10:16] Speaker 3: I don't think they do it at the same time.
[10:19] Speaker 2: Well, the way I the way I see it is right.
[10:22] Speaker 2: And it is the week of breakups, you know what
[10:23] Speaker 2: I mean. I imagine communication communication, Well Colin Jackie are they
[10:27] Speaker 2: are done as well? But I imagine good timing. Geers,
[10:32] Speaker 2: I'm really hot everything I touch stuff, family and people
[10:36] Speaker 2: who are friendships. They start to break up as soon
[10:38] Speaker 2: as I get involved. I've destroyed that show and now
[10:41] Speaker 2: I'm coming in here and our own podcast is starting
[10:43] Speaker 2: to implode.
[10:45] Speaker 1: The new Bryan Fletcher we always to Fletch. Anyone who
[10:47] Speaker 1: works with Fletch eventually false foul.
[10:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, well I imagine there's there's I mean, no one
[10:54] Speaker 2: on your show yet is really I mean Gordon's gone
[10:56] Speaker 2: to three sixteen. He's really sort of pushed.
[10:59] Speaker 1: That out a good time in Vegas, Colin Jackie in
[11:03] Speaker 1: one second Mate the concert we went to, I kept
[11:06] Speaker 1: pumping up Gary Gary Beers basical guitarists in accession.
[11:08] Speaker 3: So get Gary Gary. Is that actually his name?
[11:13] Speaker 1: That was Gary Beers, but his nickname was Gary Gary Bears.
[11:16] Speaker 1: Just call him Gary Gary Bears. But we he put
[11:20] Speaker 1: a band together and kept it at the barbershop at
[11:22] Speaker 1: colsm Pollenen I got. I dragged Brian and Cooper along
[11:26] Speaker 1: and a lot of the Newcastle old boys. We went
[11:28] Speaker 1: to Billy Peden Kurt Gidley and we walked in. I
[11:32] Speaker 1: must say it was some nervous moments because it was
[11:34] Speaker 1: packed in there. The first band finished and then there
[11:37] Speaker 1: was about forty five minutes in between the set, and
[11:40] Speaker 1: then I could see all everyone that I invited there.
[11:43] Speaker 1: Will get Nancy, jeez, I hope this fucking band's good.
[11:46] Speaker 1: But they were incredible.
[11:48] Speaker 2: I've never seen Dad so just like Wigan out of
[11:51] Speaker 2: his head. No, no, remember, because you were just like
[11:54] Speaker 2: you kept being like, I think I've I think I've
[11:56] Speaker 2: messed up here, and then you were texting Gary Gobiers.
[11:58] Speaker 2: I was about to go on saying you guys still performing.
[12:02] Speaker 2: I was still performing. He goes, yeah, mate, I'm here,
[12:04] Speaker 2: I'm here, And then Dad was going, I don't know
[12:06] Speaker 2: if they're coming out as soon as they come out.
[12:08] Speaker 2: They were one of the greatest cover bands. Well, they
[12:10] Speaker 2: played a lot of their own music. Obviously he was
[12:12] Speaker 2: in in excess. The guitarist was in Savage Garden, but
[12:16] Speaker 2: the singer, he was great and impersonating other lead singers
[12:19] Speaker 2: was who did he do?
[12:20] Speaker 3: I saw a snippet not on yours but someone else.
[12:23] Speaker 3: There was a big item number.
[12:26] Speaker 2: He did a lot of the Angels. He did a
[12:28] Speaker 2: lot of in excess. He's in excess, Michael Hutchinson.
[12:31] Speaker 1: Oil, did quite a few Oil songs.
[12:34] Speaker 3: There was a very big leading of a guitar solo
[12:38] Speaker 3: sweet Child of Mine.
[12:39] Speaker 1: Maybe Yeah. That was all songs, but.
[12:41] Speaker 2: No, no when you left, because you and Brian the
[12:44] Speaker 2: best part was you and Brian left and Gary Gary
[12:48] Speaker 2: Biers after So they had half an hour forty minutes
[12:51] Speaker 2: off and then they came back on doing Noah HiT's
[12:54] Speaker 2: like just like sweet Child of Mind, all American hits.
[12:57] Speaker 2: But he came off to say hi to you and Brian,
[12:59] Speaker 2: and like Mike Whitney.
[13:01] Speaker 1: Whitney was there quick.
[13:03] Speaker 2: He is one of the Grove Lakes. And then because
[13:05] Speaker 2: he shouted you out in the middle of the set
[13:07] Speaker 2: and go, we got a couple of legends, You, Maddie
[13:09] Speaker 2: John's and Mike Whitney, and all the Americans are going,
[13:11] Speaker 2: who the hell of many John's and Mike Whitney, and
[13:13] Speaker 2: he's come down to say good eightyer, and we You
[13:16] Speaker 2: and Brian were left because you had to courage coverage
[13:18] Speaker 2: the next day, so he wanted early night. And I
[13:20] Speaker 2: left looking for you guys because you smoked on without me.
[13:23] Speaker 2: And then he came down to the crowd to see
[13:26] Speaker 2: us all, and it was just Kurk Gidley left, and
[13:28] Speaker 2: Kirk Gidley said, it was so weird. I was. I
[13:31] Speaker 2: was like, he wasn't down there to see me, but
[13:32] Speaker 2: he knew who I was. But he was so disappointed
[13:35] Speaker 2: that no one else was there. So Kurt's trying to
[13:38] Speaker 2: hold a conversation with him, and you could just see
[13:41] Speaker 2: was giving him.
[13:42] Speaker 3: I hope you sent him a text.
[13:45] Speaker 1: Was fantastic. I said, we had to do the cabbage
[13:47] Speaker 1: the next day. I totally understand. He said, mate, he
[13:50] Speaker 1: worked a.
[13:50] Speaker 3: Long day that next day in your midnight, midday to midnight.
[13:54] Speaker 2: Thank you, Dad, you work so hard.
[13:57] Speaker 1: Thanks you guys.
[13:58] Speaker 3: I did that.
[13:58] Speaker 1: Maybe that's a good mates. Good interviews over there had
[14:01] Speaker 1: a good time. Of course. One of my highlights over
[14:02] Speaker 1: there was Dana White going to the UFC headquarters.
[14:06] Speaker 3: You know, I only knew Dana White was a man
[14:08] Speaker 3: about three months ago.
[14:10] Speaker 2: I do you think he was a machine.
[14:11] Speaker 3: I thought it was a woman.
[14:12] Speaker 1: Oh, no way, lots of people do.
[14:16] Speaker 3: It's a lady. It's a lady the best.
[14:18] Speaker 2: I love that Dad was telling us he thought his
[14:20] Speaker 2: name was Dana for the first.
[14:21] Speaker 3: Ten minutes, like Dama, Dinna.
[14:23] Speaker 1: Yeah, like Noaly called him Dana a couple of times. Yeah,
[14:26] Speaker 1: I've seen sort of twitch but liked.
[14:29] Speaker 2: Is the interview out yet?
[14:32] Speaker 1: I think the one they've done the UFC have shown
[14:35] Speaker 1: one which has me and him sitting down for a
[14:37] Speaker 1: serious interview, But on the as we're recording it, the
[14:41] Speaker 1: show tonight is the late show. We're showing where he
[14:43] Speaker 1: did meet, the tour of his residence, showing me all
[14:46] Speaker 1: these quick.
[14:47] Speaker 3: Is it a face to face as well? No okay
[14:50] Speaker 3: show in the.
[14:50] Speaker 1: USA thing for the UFC Fresh Show because it was
[14:53] Speaker 1: only going to be a ten minutes interview. They just
[14:55] Speaker 1: said ten minutes because the other media waiting. And then
[14:57] Speaker 1: he finished and said what are you doing? I said,
[14:59] Speaker 1: I don't just go back get on the grill, and
[15:01] Speaker 1: he was like, ah, don't worry about that. He said,
[15:03] Speaker 1: come on, I'm going to show you around my residence.
[15:05] Speaker 1: So it took me into all his health stuff he's got,
[15:08] Speaker 1: like this, is he a drinker? I don't know. I
[15:11] Speaker 1: don't know. He didn't offer me anything, but he's got
[15:13] Speaker 1: a steam room and in the steam room what he
[15:16] Speaker 1: does he purifies all the water in the steam and
[15:20] Speaker 1: stuff like that. He was explaining it for health. He's
[15:23] Speaker 1: got this like laser bed he lays on. Then he
[15:27] Speaker 1: took me was a legitimate samurai outfit, which costume shitloads,
[15:33] Speaker 1: saber toothed tiger skull, a medior that had fallen to
[15:36] Speaker 1: earth in eighteen twenty two in Russia, and this picture
[15:40] Speaker 1: of Yakuza.
[15:41] Speaker 3: You don't don't say what he was on the.
[15:43] Speaker 1: Wall and it cost him two hundred thousand dollars in
[15:46] Speaker 1: nowth worst one point five million, Michael Jordan Rookie cuts
[15:50] Speaker 1: what three million?
[15:50] Speaker 2: Can I ask you? What's that? What do you reckons?
[15:52] Speaker 2: Your most expensive piece of memorabilia. You don't really have
[15:54] Speaker 2: much do you don't spend too much money on it?
[15:57] Speaker 1: Don't put it the only piece of memorability. I've got
[15:59] Speaker 1: his one of two things. Yeah, that's about the extent.
[16:02] Speaker 1: I don't really buy memorabilia.
[16:03] Speaker 3: Now you've got one thing somewhere? Is it the Beatles?
[16:07] Speaker 3: Muhammad Ali?
[16:08] Speaker 1: Yeah, that was given given to me? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
[16:12] Speaker 1: that was that was That was a strange.
[16:16] Speaker 2: One My favorite piece and memorability had was when the
[16:19] Speaker 2: Gallagher brothers signed your guitar and then in another jack
[16:24] Speaker 2: outburst when he was young. I don't know what you
[16:26] Speaker 2: did to him, but when remember he started wiping off
[16:29] Speaker 2: the signature.
[16:31] Speaker 1: Was that you, Trish cleaned the guitar and wiped off
[16:36] Speaker 1: their signature. Once I realized, unbelievable.
[16:41] Speaker 3: You know what, use a bloody permanent marker. I say, well, those.
[16:44] Speaker 1: Bla who did it, they signed it, speak to them.
[16:47] Speaker 3: Yeah, but you do it to them? I mean seriously,
[16:49] Speaker 3: I can probably write it.
[16:50] Speaker 1: Jackie, Yeah, what about it. Firstly, mate, were we were
[16:57] Speaker 1: you as surprised as everybody else.
[17:01] Speaker 2: That's a good question. I'm not surprised at what at
[17:04] Speaker 2: that given that they were fighting, Like, I'm not surprised
[17:06] Speaker 2: by that because anyone that listens to the show knows
[17:08] Speaker 2: like similar to like this podcast, and I think they're
[17:12] Speaker 2: just real, Like they don't fake anything. They don't fake
[17:14] Speaker 2: their fights. They you know, people if you work with
[17:18] Speaker 2: someone close enough, like you get pissed off a lot
[17:20] Speaker 2: and you might say hurtful things. People storm out, like
[17:23] Speaker 2: we just saw with jack People storm out and they
[17:26] Speaker 2: might not come back for two weeks. But there's been
[17:28] Speaker 2: scenarios like that with Kyle and Jackie and then they
[17:31] Speaker 2: both come back to each other. I'm surprised that, like
[17:35] Speaker 2: the money didn't incentivize them to just push through because
[17:37] Speaker 2: the money they've worked for, such a monumental deal like
[17:41] Speaker 2: that they signed, and they work so hard to get
[17:43] Speaker 2: to that sort of money per year, it was very
[17:45] Speaker 2: well deserved. I'm surprised that they ended up like splitting
[17:49] Speaker 2: in the show. It's canceled now.
[17:51] Speaker 3: Change like through life, and you know what, sometimes you
[17:54] Speaker 3: just want different things and the money is not so
[17:56] Speaker 3: important and they've earnt good money and you know what, Yeah,
[18:01] Speaker 3: but you know what, how much of that are you
[18:02] Speaker 3: paying bloody tax? As well a lot of early hours
[18:09] Speaker 3: restrictions on life. Maybe you go, you know what, I
[18:13] Speaker 3: could do something that allows me greater flexibility, less stress,
[18:16] Speaker 3: lots less scrutiny and just live a peaceful life. And
[18:20] Speaker 3: you know what, you get ast to that.
[18:23] Speaker 1: And he'd be laying there going I just foreel go
[18:25] Speaker 1: fifteen billion dollars. Did people have been talking about possible stunt?
[18:31] Speaker 1: I said to someone, I don't think that in any way,
[18:33] Speaker 1: shape or form. Did you think of that at all?
[18:36] Speaker 1: It might have been a stay?
[18:36] Speaker 2: Now I knew it would've been a stunt because I've
[18:39] Speaker 2: been in there before when they've had on air fights
[18:41] Speaker 2: and then you know Jackie stormed out and hasn't come
[18:43] Speaker 2: back for a couple of days or like, I know
[18:46] Speaker 2: what that's.
[18:47] Speaker 3: I did think he was pretty offensive.
[18:49] Speaker 2: You didn't like it, did ya? No? Yeah?
[18:51] Speaker 3: I thought it was. No, it's what it represents, it's
[18:55] Speaker 3: he It's a bit like you guys and me. You
[18:57] Speaker 3: think whatever you say is more important than what I
[19:00] Speaker 3: have to say. Cooper, it's true exactly. And the other
[19:04] Speaker 3: thing that I really disliked in what he said. It
[19:08] Speaker 3: was very mean, girly. He said, everyone in the building,
[19:11] Speaker 3: you're saying it now, that's just going up on someone
[19:13] Speaker 3: and it's not nice and that makes someone feel very
[19:16] Speaker 3: low and as though they're being talked about.
[19:18] Speaker 1: Come on with the sisterhood, man.
[19:21] Speaker 2: I will say it is one of the it is.
[19:22] Speaker 3: I like Kyle, but I think it was unfair.
[19:25] Speaker 2: It is one of the great low insights. I used
[19:26] Speaker 2: to do that to people at school, people to turn
[19:29] Speaker 2: on it. Yeah, well everyone's talking about you and it
[19:32] Speaker 2: works every time.
[19:34] Speaker 1: Had that boyfriend who's like it, wouldn't let go that time,
[19:37] Speaker 1: kept a houselight and I said, just give me the phone.
[19:41] Speaker 1: I rang him and said hey, hey, young brother said
[19:43] Speaker 1: who's this and I.
[19:44] Speaker 2: Said, I'm Maddie john No, I said.
[19:46] Speaker 1: Someone so uncle. He went, well, what do you want?
[19:49] Speaker 1: And I said, you're gonna lay off, brother, And he
[19:51] Speaker 1: said what are you going to do? And I said, look,
[19:53] Speaker 1: let's let's just want to have an honest conversation with
[19:55] Speaker 1: you here. I know what you've been up to, and
[19:58] Speaker 1: if you continue this, I'm going to tell everybody. And
[20:01] Speaker 1: he goes anywhere. Yeah, right, and our niece said, what's
[20:06] Speaker 1: he been up to? I said, I don't think everyone's
[20:09] Speaker 1: up the sun? Yeah, but Kobs, do you see do
[20:14] Speaker 1: you see reconciliation?
[20:16] Speaker 2: I don't think everything you read sort of now, I
[20:19] Speaker 2: don't think it can be reconciled. I'm pretty sure like
[20:21] Speaker 2: Jackie's sort of left. I'm hearing that, like she's been
[20:25] Speaker 2: paid out a percentage of her contract and now like
[20:27] Speaker 2: she's definitely out. Now it's kind of they've got a
[20:30] Speaker 2: fourteen day weight period of now Kyle to see if
[20:33] Speaker 2: he can kind of redeem the breach in his in
[20:36] Speaker 2: the code of conduct, and how do.
[20:37] Speaker 3: You do that? How do you do that when there's
[20:40] Speaker 3: already been a consequence she's resigned.
[20:42] Speaker 2: The thing about it, thing about it is, I like
[20:46] Speaker 2: this sort of thing has happened before, Like it in
[20:49] Speaker 2: terms of it wasn't any I've seen him actually have
[20:51] Speaker 2: worse arguments than that. So it's probably it's obviously been
[20:55] Speaker 2: a build up over a long period of time. I
[20:56] Speaker 2: don't know the ins and outs of what goes on
[20:58] Speaker 2: sticking the cab closed doors, but the straw, the straw
[21:02] Speaker 2: that broke some things.
[21:05] Speaker 1: What you say, what we say is more important.
[21:07] Speaker 3: And more accurate, but I'm more amusing.
[21:10] Speaker 1: Amusing less wait for that joke at the end of
[21:14] Speaker 1: the those zingers coming off.
[21:17] Speaker 2: But yeah, I tend to see what they do now
[21:19] Speaker 2: in terms of if Kyle still is on air, because
[21:22] Speaker 2: there was chat that maybe someone else he'd continue the
[21:24] Speaker 2: show with someone else or some sort of thing.
[21:26] Speaker 3: But I am available.
[21:27] Speaker 2: I don't just bagged him.
[21:34] Speaker 3: Because he'd be able to take it, and I'm very resilient.
[21:38] Speaker 3: I just don't give a ship.
[21:39] Speaker 1: Shoots me about all this is the fact that when
[21:41] Speaker 1: they're now this has happened, you get people coming out down. Yeah,
[21:46] Speaker 1: good Rids, it's all over. Everyone's so over the moon
[21:49] Speaker 1: now not everyone is having it was the best radio
[21:51] Speaker 1: show in the country outside of Morning Glory. But it
[21:56] Speaker 1: was such a nine and if you didn't want to,
[22:00] Speaker 1: don't listen. Exactly, it's like watching it turn on people saying, oh,
[22:03] Speaker 1: it's vulgar and the rest of it. You know what,
[22:05] Speaker 1: Sometimes you turn on a show on Netflix or Fox
[22:07] Speaker 1: tell you can have swearing. Some of them had the
[22:09] Speaker 1: sea word. You don't have to watch it.
[22:12] Speaker 2: Well, to me, it's it's the equivalent of what reality
[22:14] Speaker 2: TV is, right, So many people hate reality TV some
[22:17] Speaker 2: reality TV in Australia. I think like Maths is the
[22:19] Speaker 2: highest rating show on TV.
[22:23] Speaker 3: Soful example of woman behavior.
[22:26] Speaker 1: Ye oh yeah, sure, yes.
[22:27] Speaker 2: The thing about it is its graceful. That show was
[22:30] Speaker 2: the equivalent of that, except without all the scripting and
[22:32] Speaker 2: clever editing, like that was just everything you saw on
[22:35] Speaker 2: it was natural, Everything was real. It was just and
[22:38] Speaker 2: that's why people liked it because it related to a
[22:39] Speaker 2: lot of you know, their family, drama's relationship, drama's friendship dramas.
[22:43] Speaker 2: So people enjoyed the drama. It's just a shame that
[22:46] Speaker 2: two people that was such a big part of each
[22:48] Speaker 2: other's lives a together since ninety nine when I was born.
[22:51] Speaker 3: It's a long time.
[22:52] Speaker 2: That was always like when we get in there and go, geez,
[22:54] Speaker 2: you were born the year that we met, and now
[22:57] Speaker 2: we're all working in there together. It's sad and I
[23:00] Speaker 2: and like two people that were such a big part
[23:04] Speaker 2: of my transition from footy to media, Like I learned
[23:07] Speaker 2: so much from them and they were so good for
[23:08] Speaker 2: me for two years and now good to you. It's
[23:10] Speaker 2: really sad. One thing I'm sure we can all agree
[23:11] Speaker 2: on and the public was me leaving was the beginning
[23:14] Speaker 2: of the end.
[23:15] Speaker 1: For that show, the car breaking down was emblematic of
[23:18] Speaker 1: what was about.
[23:20] Speaker 2: What about that kicking the guts too? Like people that
[23:22] Speaker 2: didn't see it, I believe that it was a bulldog.
[23:26] Speaker 2: Rang me when I was in Vegas. He goes, I
[23:27] Speaker 2: buzz told me, you've got a good story about your
[23:29] Speaker 2: car breaking down. I said, I said, Mae, I said,
[23:31] Speaker 2: they got me on the radio two months to talk
[23:33] Speaker 2: about that bulldog. And he said, oh, well, I've only
[23:35] Speaker 2: just heard about it. You tell me about it. I
[23:37] Speaker 2: just said what I said on the radio and on
[23:38] Speaker 2: the potty where oh, you know, my car broke down
[23:40] Speaker 2: the day after I quit. Maybe maybe they snipped me
[23:43] Speaker 2: brakes and you sold me you're dud. And then it's
[23:46] Speaker 2: just just a kick on the guts of the way
[23:48] Speaker 2: down to Kyle and the Jackie O Show was just
[23:50] Speaker 2: like Kyle sells Cooper dud.
[23:52] Speaker 3: I know that was that was.
[23:53] Speaker 2: Six months ago. That was all I love it.
[23:55] Speaker 1: That was a bulldog. So as you said, I think
[23:57] Speaker 1: you sold me that.
[23:58] Speaker 2: If got the headline, yeah, I found the headline.
[24:01] Speaker 3: Well, I had a night out with him many years ago.
[24:03] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they were in the.
[24:07] Speaker 3: Car together and I don't remember a lot, but I
[24:10] Speaker 3: do remember him going, oh my god, you're so much
[24:13] Speaker 3: like Joey, and I went ill and your mum used
[24:16] Speaker 3: to say it too.
[24:16] Speaker 2: Joey won't like that.
[24:18] Speaker 3: He reckons, she reckons that same person.
[24:20] Speaker 2: Yeah, you and Joey.
[24:21] Speaker 3: Interesting.
[24:21] Speaker 2: Maybe that's happening. Maybe that's why you and Dad clashed
[24:24] Speaker 2: so much.
[24:24] Speaker 1: Probably again, yeah, it probably.
[24:26] Speaker 2: Is because obviously Dad and Joey don't.
[24:29] Speaker 1: Have you heard from Colin Jack yet?
[24:30] Speaker 2: I showed him a text because I was sort of
[24:32] Speaker 2: out of the loop. We were in Vegas, so I
[24:34] Speaker 2: wasn't really like to touch across it just because we
[24:36] Speaker 2: were drunk like most of the time. So I texted
[24:39] Speaker 2: him when I got back. I haven't actually heard back
[24:40] Speaker 2: from my Imagine their phone and be blowing up because
[24:43] Speaker 2: I texted them after the whole stuff of that it
[24:45] Speaker 2: won't be going ahead anymore, and I just said, oh, sorry, girls,
[24:47] Speaker 2: I've been out a loop. I hope you're doing all right.
[24:50] Speaker 1: And the Big One Coop like a lot of the
[24:52] Speaker 1: stuff and that how they travel.
[24:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, I spoke to a few of the staff like that.
[24:57] Speaker 2: It's just a little bit. I suppose it's like everyone.
[24:59] Speaker 2: It's a little bit of no man like right now. Obviously,
[25:02] Speaker 2: speculation is that the show the show's canceled effective immediately,
[25:05] Speaker 2: but they haven't made a decision after the fourteen days,
[25:08] Speaker 2: so it could still be going ahead potentially without Jackie.
[25:11] Speaker 2: They may have been even offering Jackie her own sort
[25:15] Speaker 2: of slot on her own different show. I'm not so
[25:18] Speaker 2: they're all a little bit like, well, there's going to
[25:20] Speaker 2: be a Breakfast show potentially in Sydney and Melbourne split
[25:23] Speaker 2: up if the show doesn't end up going ahead, so
[25:25] Speaker 2: the producers still may have a job, or a new
[25:28] Speaker 2: show may come in and those they have completely new producers.
[25:30] Speaker 2: So it's I really.
[25:32] Speaker 3: Hope that they can get past It might take a
[25:35] Speaker 3: month or two and they come back together. Maybe they
[25:38] Speaker 3: just need a bit of a breakwag.
[25:39] Speaker 1: I think that's amazed me about their longevity is firstly
[25:42] Speaker 1: their relationship, how it's maintained over a long time, because
[25:45] Speaker 1: if you have any wrinkle in the crease of your
[25:48] Speaker 1: relationship with your co hosts, Breakfast getting out a bit
[25:51] Speaker 1: at four o'clock in the morning will expose that. And
[25:53] Speaker 1: the fact that they have been such great friends and
[25:56] Speaker 1: supporters of each other for a long time so there's
[25:57] Speaker 1: a lot about them both. And I remember one of
[26:01] Speaker 1: the bosses Troop Lamb when he said there was myself, MG,
[26:04] Speaker 1: Paigey and Gus on the Grill team and him coming
[26:07] Speaker 1: to us and numerous times going It amazes me. You
[26:10] Speaker 1: have one of the few radio breakfast radio shows that
[26:13] Speaker 1: I've ever seen that are all good mates that get on.
[26:16] Speaker 1: It's usually they're at war with each other, and the
[26:18] Speaker 1: other thing is getting up with those hours, their longevity
[26:22] Speaker 1: and those asshole hours. How difficult it is. Like I
[26:26] Speaker 1: needed eight years, but my last year, the best money
[26:29] Speaker 1: that I was ever going to make in my working
[26:31] Speaker 1: life was the last year I was going to have
[26:33] Speaker 1: a trip Lamb and I just couldn't do it.
[26:35] Speaker 3: I went in and said to him, I tried to
[26:37] Speaker 3: make him do it.
[26:37] Speaker 1: I just said I'm done. And they're like, oh, you
[26:39] Speaker 1: won't you know. I said, I'm sorry, guys, I'm just
[26:42] Speaker 1: done well.
[26:44] Speaker 2: And like I said before, with their deal obviously ten
[26:47] Speaker 2: million dollars a year each, it's there is only and
[26:50] Speaker 2: it's easy to say it, but when you've earned good
[26:52] Speaker 2: enough money for a long time, there is only so much.
[26:55] Speaker 2: When you're so rooted all the time from doing brecky radio.
[26:58] Speaker 2: You're actually like it sounds bad because there are people
[27:01] Speaker 2: who get up at that same time and they don't
[27:03] Speaker 2: have a coal mine, or they're you know, they're driving
[27:05] Speaker 2: a garbage truck. But there is something in the stress
[27:09] Speaker 2: of like the constant stress of your mind, like you're
[27:12] Speaker 2: the fear of you know, saying saying the wrong thing,
[27:14] Speaker 2: or the fear of going in to a morning one
[27:17] Speaker 2: day and you're like, I don't have anything to talk about.
[27:19] Speaker 2: You're searching for content in your life constantly. There is
[27:21] Speaker 2: a real mental drain that that does have. Like I
[27:24] Speaker 2: found even the effect of that from doing it two years.
[27:26] Speaker 1: A lot of people do breakfast radio ended up end
[27:29] Speaker 1: up in rehable. They do will need time off because
[27:33] Speaker 1: of stress. There is something weird about the years Uh
[27:36] Speaker 1: and Mat while on Triple and the Old Grill Team
[27:39] Speaker 1: Stewe McGill, the McGill or the Sweet Prince. I saw
[27:42] Speaker 1: this the other day with that bloke on the podcast.
[27:44] Speaker 1: But a bloke he was interviewing brought up an incident
[27:48] Speaker 1: which happened in so.
[27:50] Speaker 3: That I do think it's a pr stunt myself.
[27:52] Speaker 1: I don't. I don't if you name mc gill.
[27:54] Speaker 3: I agreed with it. I'll say this and we won't
[27:55] Speaker 3: mention it because we don't want to give it any No.
[27:57] Speaker 1: That's right. But I actually look McGill is phily, he's
[28:02] Speaker 1: no more than just a little of cerviic. Mate. He
[28:04] Speaker 1: goes really hard and Okay, Miguel I thought went over
[28:08] Speaker 1: the top a bit, but in essence what he was saying.
[28:11] Speaker 1: I thought it was right absolutely to bring that up
[28:14] Speaker 1: again after that certain amount of time. And they're friends
[28:17] Speaker 1: with with Stewie, I thought was yeah. I thought that's
[28:21] Speaker 1: poor form. As Stewie said, mate, that's been done and done.
[28:23] Speaker 1: You've brought it up. Yeah, you've brought it.
[28:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, you've just given it life again. Why do you
[28:27] Speaker 3: bother that? Yeah, Prince, it can't be too bad.
[28:31] Speaker 1: Blo the sweet Prince Cooper this and that you're able
[28:35] Speaker 1: to do your segment from.
[28:37] Speaker 2: Them from this, I can do everything one of the
[28:40] Speaker 2: I'm one of the great talents of our generation.
[28:43] Speaker 1: Jack got a Jack update. Is he right back or anything?
[28:46] Speaker 2: He's not coming in, I heard I heard foot sets before.
[28:48] Speaker 2: I feel like he might be home. I would have
[28:50] Speaker 2: loved for him to walk in. As we were just
[28:52] Speaker 2: talking about the Colin, Jackie Osho, splitner or just talking.
[28:55] Speaker 1: If he does walk in ignor we're having the best
[28:58] Speaker 1: show ever he walks it, We'll just go.
[29:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, is here.
[29:03] Speaker 1: Let's look just on the counter. Three, let's do some
[29:06] Speaker 1: raucous laughter. One two three, brilliant me.
[29:14] Speaker 3: Thank you.
[29:14] Speaker 2: So this isn't this or that today. This is going
[29:16] Speaker 2: to be Cooper's corner, right. So basically what this is
[29:20] Speaker 2: is I want to understand everyone's going to have a
[29:23] Speaker 2: different opinion on this, and it's one of those questions.
[29:26] Speaker 2: Given we just come back from Las Vegas and Trusha,
[29:28] Speaker 2: you were in India, so you guys haven't spent a
[29:29] Speaker 2: whole lot of time together the last month, and.
[29:31] Speaker 3: It has been the most peaceful month of my life.
[29:33] Speaker 1: You're not just speaking for yourself there.
[29:36] Speaker 2: This is a question I want to post to you guys.
[29:38] Speaker 2: How long is too long to travel without your partner?
[29:42] Speaker 2: Because I feel like this is a question that often
[29:44] Speaker 2: gets thrown u particularly in young relationships. Young people want
[29:46] Speaker 2: to go to Europe and live overseas for like six
[29:48] Speaker 2: months at a time, but they might have a partner, so.
[29:50] Speaker 3: They leave them and they do very different. I mean,
[29:53] Speaker 3: once you're married for thirty years, you know, But how
[29:56] Speaker 3: is a year too long? Probably not?
[29:58] Speaker 2: So you are you saying now that you could travel
[30:01] Speaker 2: for a year without dad and he'd be okay with that?
[30:05] Speaker 3: Oh, he wouldn't be okay with that.
[30:06] Speaker 2: Trican You go away for like three weeks sometimes and
[30:09] Speaker 2: he's his head's about to fall off, I know.
[30:12] Speaker 1: So now we get Luigi to the Neil little dog coming,
[30:16] Speaker 1: which I just need to know absolutely everything I've got
[30:19] Speaker 1: to do for Wei.
[30:19] Speaker 3: Yeah, you do, because I want you to be primary care.
[30:21] Speaker 3: I want it to be your dog.
[30:22] Speaker 1: He is, he is going to I want it.
[30:25] Speaker 3: Yes. That means you have to get up through the night,
[30:27] Speaker 3: take him out to toilet. You need to not drink
[30:29] Speaker 3: around him and be watching it. And he's very small,
[30:32] Speaker 3: there'll be no drinking in the house.
[30:33] Speaker 1: And I did the same with Charlie. I'd take him
[30:35] Speaker 1: out at her inside all the time and.
[30:38] Speaker 3: In the morning, get up early.
[30:39] Speaker 2: He did the same with Charlie, not drinking in front
[30:42] Speaker 2: of Charlie.
[30:42] Speaker 1: Had liked me drinking. When I started drinking, she'd go,
[30:46] Speaker 1: please drink.
[30:47] Speaker 2: Keep drinking, keep drinking, please drink. How long would you
[30:51] Speaker 2: say too long? If you would go on a Christian
[30:54] Speaker 2: go away.
[30:55] Speaker 1: I think I think the cutting point to be a
[30:57] Speaker 1: month and then but.
[31:00] Speaker 3: When you say cutting point, what does that.
[31:02] Speaker 1: Mean that you go no, no, the point that it
[31:04] Speaker 1: would be really uncomfortable.
[31:05] Speaker 3: Yeah, I probably regret I was only gone fifteen days
[31:09] Speaker 3: the other time.
[31:10] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
[31:11] Speaker 2: How do you view young relationships then? When because a
[31:13] Speaker 2: lot of my mates go away to Europe for six
[31:16] Speaker 2: months without their partners, they might sort of link up
[31:18] Speaker 2: the last month with their partners or whatever. Where do
[31:20] Speaker 2: you see those Because if when you and Mum started
[31:22] Speaker 2: dating initially, Jack and you got your relationship could have
[31:25] Speaker 2: lasted if one of you had gone five months.
[31:29] Speaker 3: I was going away for twelve months to Japan.
[31:32] Speaker 2: Oh when you were younger.
[31:33] Speaker 3: I was planning. That was my plan. And then I
[31:34] Speaker 3: met Matt, And what do you remember what you said
[31:36] Speaker 3: to me, Matt, I'll.
[31:37] Speaker 1: Wait for you. I'll wait for the whole till you
[31:39] Speaker 1: get back. Yeah, you would still be there.
[31:42] Speaker 2: He actually did say that.
[31:42] Speaker 1: He did say, yeah I did.
[31:44] Speaker 3: But you know what I knew myself.
[31:46] Speaker 1: I reckon I saved you because you know what happens
[31:47] Speaker 1: a lot of times people get offered these jobs in
[31:51] Speaker 1: Japan as like hostess and stuff like that, and you
[31:54] Speaker 1: know they end up doing Yeah, what.
[31:56] Speaker 3: Was earning really good money?
[31:58] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[31:59] Speaker 3: I was. I was teaching English.
[32:01] Speaker 2: I was teaching English in Japan, teaching English through day,
[32:06] Speaker 2: rhyming poles at night, the women of the night by night.
[32:12] Speaker 2: You know.
[32:13] Speaker 3: So I knew, I knew, And once he said that,
[32:15] Speaker 3: I knew, I'd go there, and within a week I
[32:17] Speaker 3: turn around and fly home. So I just went, well,
[32:19] Speaker 3: there's no point.
[32:22] Speaker 2: Do you think, but you reckon? If you'd gone that,
[32:24] Speaker 2: your last ship wouldn't have lasted.
[32:26] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[32:26] Speaker 3: Probably, I don't think it would have lasted. But I
[32:28] Speaker 3: really liked him back then. Sorry, I really liked him.
[32:33] Speaker 2: Why did you say back then you weren't?
[32:37] Speaker 3: It was you were not, you.
[32:40] Speaker 1: Know, you know when I went out, you know, it
[32:42] Speaker 1: was like I was like the pines click the fingers away,
[32:44] Speaker 1: they come, you know, really my officers in the toilet,
[32:47] Speaker 1: all that sort of stuff.
[32:49] Speaker 2: Cutting, cutting holes in the toilet door.
[32:53] Speaker 3: Sorry, were you bleeding out of mate?
[32:59] Speaker 2: Heard?
[33:00] Speaker 3: And did you share a bed with Angus? Yeah, joining dots.
[33:04] Speaker 2: That's a good point. Mom did say that that Mom
[33:07] Speaker 2: doesn't see that. For a week and a half, he
[33:09] Speaker 2: comes back with the bleeding eyes, and he shared a
[33:11] Speaker 2: bed famous actor Angus.
[33:14] Speaker 1: Because As is such a good person as far as
[33:17] Speaker 1: like he wants to talk about your time. I was
[33:19] Speaker 1: laying in bed. I'm getting close to fall, so he's
[33:23] Speaker 1: putting me. Put on this like sleeping, sleeping app just okay,
[33:28] Speaker 1: it was Scottish accident. Take a breath. Okay, we'll release
[33:32] Speaker 1: it and it does work.
[33:33] Speaker 3: But take your breath and then release.
[33:37] Speaker 1: And Angus would be going, tell me about Marke, told
[33:42] Speaker 1: me about this, tell me about that.
[33:44] Speaker 2: And I was laying there, tell me about your childhood.
[33:46] Speaker 1: I went. When he saw me the next day, he said,
[33:50] Speaker 1: you remember going enough about me, let's talk about you.
[33:55] Speaker 4: In that voice, I said him, I'm laying next to
[33:58] Speaker 4: the stove of Lincoln Lawyer kind of felt really good.
[34:07] Speaker 1: Interesting, it's time for this segment. I do, Matt, almost
[34:11] Speaker 1: every opinion counts. Now, this is what I'm going to
[34:13] Speaker 1: run past you guys. It only come to me this morning.
[34:16] Speaker 1: Because we're talking about expanding or just changing the Vegas experience.
[34:22] Speaker 1: One of the cities they're throwing up, of course, is London.
[34:25] Speaker 1: Other people saying it's too far to go. Other people
[34:27] Speaker 1: are saying, Miami, I don't think Miami have to bean
[34:30] Speaker 1: to Miami. I don't think this. I don't.
[34:33] Speaker 3: I mean, Miami has a vibe.
[34:35] Speaker 1: It has a vibe, but it just and.
[34:38] Speaker 3: It accommodated a lot of people like it's designed for that.
[34:41] Speaker 1: I've got I've got to suggestion what we should do
[34:43] Speaker 1: next after Vegas. I reckon the NRL should go to Nashville.
[34:47] Speaker 1: You've got Tennessee Titans Stadium right at the end of
[34:52] Speaker 1: Centralized And I said, it's exactly the town that Australians
[34:55] Speaker 1: would love.
[34:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, I like it, I reckon, and it'd be does
[34:59] Speaker 3: it have enough a commedy to coach?
[35:00] Speaker 1: That's the question? Has got the infrastructure?
[35:03] Speaker 2: That's the one thing we were saying. There's not many
[35:05] Speaker 2: cities like Las Vegas that are literally built for just
[35:08] Speaker 2: thousands and thousands of people to come in at one stage,
[35:11] Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
[35:11] Speaker 3: I reckon National is an awesome idea.
[35:14] Speaker 1: I think I think Nashville would be so smart. Would
[35:17] Speaker 1: be they called nash.
[35:19] Speaker 3: Vegas And yeah, well it is. It is the Vegas
[35:24] Speaker 3: of that start of the country.
[35:26] Speaker 2: And I feel like Ragya League people would really get
[35:28] Speaker 2: along with that, like country live music style.
[35:33] Speaker 1: Tennessees is football Heartland, American football hardly that's what That's.
[35:39] Speaker 3: What, mister better than London. I agree, too far and
[35:44] Speaker 3: lack of interest.
[35:46] Speaker 1: A couple of a couple of recommendations before we finished.
[35:49] Speaker 1: I think the first one is go and fill up
[35:51] Speaker 1: your cars. Of course, with this war that Iran is
[35:53] Speaker 1: going on at the oil shortage.
[35:55] Speaker 2: Cheap chief petrol or expensive expensive petrol.
[35:57] Speaker 1: This is what happened for I know.
[35:59] Speaker 3: I can remember that when I was kid because I
[36:00] Speaker 3: lived next door to petrol station and when things were
[36:04] Speaker 3: going on that people would be lined up down the block.
[36:07] Speaker 1: Yeah. How in the late seventies going to the as
[36:10] Speaker 1: when there was a war in Iran and there was
[36:12] Speaker 1: an all shortage, what they did there was a spinoff
[36:14] Speaker 1: effect in America. In America you could not travel, No
[36:19] Speaker 1: car or motor vehicle could travel travel over fifty files
[36:22] Speaker 1: five miles per hour because you use feel. In fact,
[36:28] Speaker 1: at the end of Top Top Gun Maverick, you'll see
[36:30] Speaker 1: he takes off, he throws off like a towler a
[36:37] Speaker 1: blanket off his motorcycle and on the back of the
[36:40] Speaker 1: number plate it's got a fifty five for the cross
[36:42] Speaker 1: through it. That was a bit of a thing back
[36:45] Speaker 1: in the day they refused to go fifty five.
[36:47] Speaker 3: In fact, you never heard of that.
[36:49] Speaker 1: He's something that was born out of that. Do you know,
[36:51] Speaker 1: Like you know you listened.
[36:53] Speaker 3: To shots fifty five miles.
[36:55] Speaker 1: Fifty five miles would be about a something, Yeah, about
[37:00] Speaker 1: about eighty five. Do you remember back then? I like
[37:02] Speaker 1: smoking the band ten four Big Buddy. We got a
[37:05] Speaker 1: smoky up ahead that was born out of the fifty
[37:06] Speaker 1: five Because fifty five all the truckers and the police. Yeah,
[37:11] Speaker 1: we're driving around the country side. They lay everywhere, they
[37:13] Speaker 1: couldn't meet times, and they had pressure from the bosses,
[37:15] Speaker 1: so they worked out this CB system. We're ten four
[37:18] Speaker 1: rubber Ducky, We're gonna we've gotta's going to sell a
[37:21] Speaker 1: smoky up ahead.
[37:22] Speaker 3: Matthew, you are just a source of so much was
[37:25] Speaker 3: born out of You're so much less information. But it's interesting.
[37:30] Speaker 2: I'm so sick of people saying that, like you're not masculine,
[37:33] Speaker 2: and I'm so everyone saying that behind your back.
[37:36] Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks, thanks, Kyle. Didn't you say that? Fletchat it
[37:44] Speaker 3: something come up? He checked you on chat GPT and
[37:49] Speaker 3: Emmett's added something they're known for telling long winded, uninteresting
[37:54] Speaker 3: trivia stories.
[37:55] Speaker 1: No, it went, did this, did that? But is the
[37:59] Speaker 1: other thing he's known for was left field facts, which
[38:01] Speaker 1: nobody finds interesting. That hurt chat GBT is a mirror, Yeah,
[38:07] Speaker 1: a mirror of what a mirror of like you see yourself.
[38:10] Speaker 3: It's often incorrect.
[38:11] Speaker 1: You need to fact check fastest growing company in the
[38:14] Speaker 1: history of mankind.
[38:16] Speaker 3: That are lazy.
[38:18] Speaker 1: And the second recommendation, I just want to say this.
[38:22] Speaker 1: Joel Edgard, great Australian actor and producer, has starred and
[38:26] Speaker 1: produced a movie called Train Dreams. People. It is You've
[38:30] Speaker 1: got to go and see it. It is a really.
[38:34] Speaker 3: Why not trust because it's on Telly already and I
[38:38] Speaker 3: started watching it last night.
[38:41] Speaker 1: You don't like it, people, people, just just hang with me.
[38:46] Speaker 1: In my opinion, I think it's a really really special movie.
[38:49] Speaker 1: It's an amazing film that make sure give yourself the
[38:52] Speaker 1: time to go and see it. I think it could
[38:54] Speaker 1: be one of the great one of the greatest movies
[38:56] Speaker 1: made by an Australian producer and actor.
[38:58] Speaker 3: She it started poorly. I didn't even give it a chance.
[39:01] Speaker 1: Okay, let's just say one.
[39:03] Speaker 2: Well could be Kyle Joel Legerdon who else are you
[39:07] Speaker 2: going to shoot?
[39:08] Speaker 3: I'm not shooting on anyone. You don't want to find
[39:10] Speaker 3: really interesting though, Like you guys are away. Not once
[39:13] Speaker 3: did you ask me what I've been doing, and you
[39:15] Speaker 3: know what, I don't want to share. I had a
[39:17] Speaker 3: great time.
[39:18] Speaker 1: You're going you're going over and seeing Britt Fletcher New Gang.
[39:22] Speaker 2: Yeah, Mari Obrien giving a good roger.
[39:27] Speaker 3: An idiot, Sorry that I'm an idiot.
[39:31] Speaker 1: What was that? I'm an idiot.
[39:34] Speaker 2: Guess what you've already lost. You've already lost the main
[39:37] Speaker 2: producer and now you've lost the second one. I got
[39:40] Speaker 2: one one more shout out tomorrow before the Manly Game
[39:45] Speaker 2: albeit Chubbs in Brookvale, we're doing a backstage past challenge.
[39:49] Speaker 2: But we've set up a little yeah yeah, well yeah,
[39:52] Speaker 2: which I told everyone that, but it was sort of
[39:55] Speaker 2: a me and Jack thing. Now I suppose it's just
[39:57] Speaker 2: me depending on if we can get when Jack back
[40:00] Speaker 2: inside or we can win us essentially, But from four
[40:04] Speaker 2: pm before the Manly Game, if there's any backstage back
[40:06] Speaker 2: fans listeners in the air who are going on to
[40:08] Speaker 2: the Manly Game, come to Chubs in Brookvale four pm.
[40:11] Speaker 2: See if you can. There's a like a bull's eye,
[40:12] Speaker 2: one of those passing challenges. I think we put Ricky
[40:15] Speaker 2: Stewart's head.
[40:15] Speaker 1: On the Instiga side of that.
[40:18] Speaker 2: They're playing camera.
[40:19] Speaker 1: That's Jack's not going to be there. I'll be there.
[40:24] Speaker 2: Really throw your thanks.
[40:26] Speaker 3: Good luck to the Titans against Carna.
[40:28] Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, the guy ship.
[40:33] Speaker 2: I hit the wrong camera. Then it just went to
[40:35] Speaker 2: a black screen. But now it's back on me. Thanks.
[40:37] Speaker 3: Thank got to work.
[40:38] Speaker 2: With me here.
[40:40] Speaker 1: It's time to mend their relationships.
[40:41] Speaker 3: I've missed you so
