[0:01] Speaker 1: And welcome to the podcast for this week. How are
[0:05] Speaker 1: we all, guys? And now, of course we mentioned it
[0:07] Speaker 1: on the backstage podcast, but move on, here we go,
[0:11] Speaker 1: Move on, Cooper John's, Jack John's, Patricia Johns. You are
[0:15] Speaker 1: nursing the new child of the house, Luis Louis.
[0:19] Speaker 2: Yeah, Louise, do you need an intro every week?
[0:21] Speaker 3: You reckon?
[0:22] Speaker 4: Well, I think he needs this one, the first one,
[0:24] Speaker 4: the new baby. How long are they I'm looking a
[0:26] Speaker 4: little tired.
[0:27] Speaker 2: How long do they stay tiny for?
[0:31] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[0:32] Speaker 2: Like honestly, but right now he's like a signe of
[0:35] Speaker 2: for guinea pig.
[0:36] Speaker 4: How long is he will be a smaller cavalier like
[0:40] Speaker 4: his dad?
[0:41] Speaker 1: The lady said, bath and big conscience and social conscience
[0:45] Speaker 1: and a.
[0:45] Speaker 2: Big presence, bigre you go, Yeah, he's a little bit
[0:49] Speaker 2: small like his dad.
[0:50] Speaker 1: John's Yeah, let that one gay straight through to the catcher.
[0:58] Speaker 4: You can call him Louis.
[1:00] Speaker 1: It's now a question soft g Luigi or Luigi.
[1:05] Speaker 4: Luigi, Luigi Luigi. But to his mates, Louis Louis Luie.
[1:10] Speaker 5: I walked into the bathroom the other day and dad
[1:12] Speaker 5: was had a tad towel wrapped around him, playing Louis
[1:17] Speaker 5: Lue like the I think it's the Kingsman's version. Then
[1:21] Speaker 5: he played a Motorhead version, then he played Australian crawl versions.
[1:25] Speaker 6: All the versions, all the versions, versions of the versions
[1:28] Speaker 6: of blue version, great version of Louis so like your
[1:34] Speaker 6: hat to oh this one.
[1:37] Speaker 4: A listener sent that in for you to take on
[1:41] Speaker 4: your show, to give to time.
[1:43] Speaker 1: This is when he broke the He brought the record
[1:45] Speaker 1: for Paramatta, broke the record for what appearances most games,
[1:50] Speaker 1: and of course Wally Wins Peter Wins celebrated it by
[1:54] Speaker 1: doing one of these big shatout win as well. Peter
[1:57] Speaker 1: Win honestly kicking goals, Peter Wins score. If you don't
[2:00] Speaker 1: score there, you will not score. And I just want
[2:02] Speaker 1: to say this matter. Paramatter had a Paramita ball and
[2:08] Speaker 1: I just want to do a shoutout for Peter Win
[2:10] Speaker 1: because when the boys were little, like honestly, they would
[2:12] Speaker 1: get there and say, hey, for a day out, dad,
[2:14] Speaker 1: can you take us to Peter Wins of Paramatter. I
[2:16] Speaker 1: remember that and he'd always look after us.
[2:18] Speaker 2: But he was actually very good and I still have
[2:21] Speaker 2: some of the some of the gear that we got
[2:23] Speaker 2: from out there. He doesn't And if he get out
[2:25] Speaker 2: the back and like press whatever our favorite number was,
[2:27] Speaker 2: and put John's on the back as well. Yeah, I
[2:29] Speaker 2: got like a There was an old NRL All Stars jersey.
[2:32] Speaker 3: That we got out of there.
[2:33] Speaker 2: It was like white with gold stars on it, and
[2:35] Speaker 2: he put number one and John's on it for us.
[2:37] Speaker 2: He was a good man. He's not dead, saying, and
[2:42] Speaker 2: talk about a great slogan. You're not going to score here.
[2:44] Speaker 2: You won't score anywhere. He should open a brothel just
[2:51] Speaker 2: out the back of the store. There you go. If
[2:53] Speaker 2: you don't score anywhere, the kids in the kids can
[2:55] Speaker 2: shop for a bit of foot e merch.
[2:57] Speaker 4: Don't even just please.
[2:58] Speaker 1: Stop, okay, move on. So you're saying, we have the
[3:01] Speaker 1: sports store in the middle, then to the right we
[3:04] Speaker 1: have that, we have the not shop. You don't school there,
[3:06] Speaker 1: But now they've got a meth lave. You don't school there.
[3:08] Speaker 1: You will not kill anything.
[3:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, support the use of men.
[3:15] Speaker 1: It's a joke. It's all.
[3:17] Speaker 3: Let's move on unless they sponsor of course, of course, which.
[3:21] Speaker 2: Brings us to our next library. Ice not just frozen water.
[3:28] Speaker 2: Want to stay up for three days?
[3:30] Speaker 3: Did she? I bet you?
[3:31] Speaker 1: Are you dead? In America? Anti ice Marsh and I
[3:38] Speaker 1: hate ice going. Yeah, well we like it. Let's go
[3:42] Speaker 1: from one baby is in Luigi to another, and that
[3:44] Speaker 1: is the Gold Coast Titans. Disappointing first up, very first
[3:49] Speaker 1: great week for Luigi. Not such a great first week
[3:52] Speaker 1: for the Titans. But you know what, you can start somewhere.
[3:56] Speaker 5: Oh yeah, of course, I mean you know, well, everyone
[3:58] Speaker 5: was improving over the off season. So we're Carnalla are a
[4:04] Speaker 5: very good football side, spoken like a like a true
[4:06] Speaker 5: analyst of the game.
[4:10] Speaker 4: I'll tell you what though, were you glad you weren't
[4:12] Speaker 4: here watching the game with you?
[4:15] Speaker 1: What you just said there is just call Josh, Hannah
[4:18] Speaker 1: and just call Josh, just telling me your little take
[4:20] Speaker 1: on I'm sure you passed it on to the boys.
[4:23] Speaker 2: And I said a little voice memo though you can
[4:24] Speaker 2: play it in between the video session this week. But
[4:27] Speaker 2: my favorite thing now, I want to get your perspective
[4:29] Speaker 2: because I wasn't here watching the game. Yes, I think
[4:32] Speaker 2: Jack and Trisha were both here with Dad.
[4:35] Speaker 4: Jack was away for a bit of it.
[4:37] Speaker 3: I was the whole first half and that's all I
[4:39] Speaker 3: needed to be there.
[4:40] Speaker 2: So running through what was that liken?
[4:42] Speaker 5: I got off the lounde I could just hear these
[4:44] Speaker 5: noises coming from him. So I sat there for a
[4:46] Speaker 5: bit and then I went, now, I've got to clear
[4:48] Speaker 5: out of here. So I went and started some filing,
[4:51] Speaker 5: and then at the end event he wanted to talk
[4:53] Speaker 5: to me about it.
[4:54] Speaker 4: I mean, just stop. Take a hint. Did you notice that.
[4:58] Speaker 5: I got up off the lounge beside you and walked away.
[5:01] Speaker 5: There was a reason for that. Keep your thoughts to yourself.
[5:04] Speaker 1: Now, because this is this is skinning the game. This
[5:09] Speaker 1: is skinning the game. This is what it's about. So
[5:11] Speaker 1: bloody passionate.
[5:12] Speaker 4: You would be passionate with someone else. I don't want
[5:14] Speaker 4: to hear you.
[5:15] Speaker 2: He is allowed to talk about it on the body
[5:16] Speaker 2: because we are don't want a podcast, not just for you.
[5:18] Speaker 2: You're trying to shush him.
[5:20] Speaker 1: Talk about abusive Yeah, honestly.
[5:23] Speaker 3: I was trying to lower the less of the blow
[5:25] Speaker 3: for him through the day too, because I knew like
[5:28] Speaker 3: although the Titans had a great trial period as we know,
[5:33] Speaker 3: controls are good gauge for the year, but not exactly
[5:36] Speaker 3: a great gauge for round one, and also playing the
[5:39] Speaker 3: Sharks at Shark Park, they are very very good.
[5:42] Speaker 1: I love the fact that you're just letting me know
[5:45] Speaker 1: from you and Cooper, I played having two hundred games?
[5:48] Speaker 4: Just good?
[5:49] Speaker 1: What do win do you want me to all those
[5:51] Speaker 1: kangaroo tools and stuff like that.
[5:54] Speaker 4: Kangaroo tools are different.
[5:56] Speaker 3: What do you know? Honestly what you quoted, you were saying,
[5:59] Speaker 3: I've got a really good about today. That was about
[6:01] Speaker 3: you at midday.
[6:03] Speaker 2: It was funny because Jackson in the kitchen.
[6:05] Speaker 1: Jacob, Yeah, burning hand.
[6:10] Speaker 2: As he was waterboarding himself in the sink. I loved
[6:13] Speaker 2: jack under me like it doing the day and he goes.
[6:15] Speaker 2: Dad's expectations of today are very high, aren't they went?
[6:20] Speaker 2: And he's so excited. He's so excited. I love I
[6:23] Speaker 2: got home. I was watching it at the pub.
[6:25] Speaker 4: Your take on him?
[6:26] Speaker 2: And I come home and Dad was he had a
[6:29] Speaker 2: singular lamp lit in the living room and he was
[6:32] Speaker 2: sitting there with Luigi on his lap, like doctor Evil.
[6:35] Speaker 2: And it was almost like something out of when you
[6:37] Speaker 2: imagine walking into like a big creepy church and it's
[6:42] Speaker 2: just the priest sitting there and there's like opera music
[6:44] Speaker 2: like oh. It was like he was in there wearing
[6:48] Speaker 2: a robe, just like meditating, and he had notes everywhere.
[6:52] Speaker 2: He was surrounded by eight four pieces of paper filled
[6:55] Speaker 2: with where they can improve all of these thoughts.
[6:57] Speaker 1: I did not write anything on the Titans. I did
[6:59] Speaker 1: not write anything. Actually I did because they had to
[7:03] Speaker 1: talk about the next day. I was trying to you know, okay,
[7:05] Speaker 1: what are we going to say?
[7:05] Speaker 3: You're doing your notes for the whole week, coming out
[7:07] Speaker 3: a ways all the games.
[7:09] Speaker 2: It was just surrounded in a four pains. He was
[7:12] Speaker 2: cutting himself with it.
[7:13] Speaker 1: But I will say this right, and a lot of
[7:16] Speaker 1: Titans fans listening to us, what happens sometimes Titan trial
[7:20] Speaker 1: games do matter when we are the Nights. I think
[7:22] Speaker 1: we only lost one trial game. We took trials to
[7:25] Speaker 1: an extent seriously because it was an opportunity to trial
[7:28] Speaker 1: new tactics, trial new players, trial new combinations, trial and
[7:32] Speaker 1: new it could be a new version of defense or
[7:35] Speaker 1: a new principle and defense. And what you saw with
[7:37] Speaker 1: the Titans that Josh, all the things that Josh put
[7:39] Speaker 1: in place, they worked. That's what you know, and the
[7:42] Speaker 1: players were obviously buoyed by that. What can happen not
[7:45] Speaker 1: as it collectively, well sometimes collective, but it happens individually
[7:49] Speaker 1: through the whole off season, where You've been training hard,
[7:51] Speaker 1: trying these new techniques, fighting for your spot, and you
[7:55] Speaker 1: play the last trial and you play really good. For
[7:57] Speaker 1: the next two weeks, you go, okay, I'm setting ready
[7:59] Speaker 1: to go, And sometimes that can lull you into a
[8:02] Speaker 1: full sense of where you actually are.
[8:04] Speaker 2: How's your headspace?
[8:05] Speaker 3: Now?
[8:06] Speaker 1: Headspace is great because I look and I'll say it again,
[8:09] Speaker 1: you know what I do love. I love the fact
[8:11] Speaker 1: that now people coming out and started knocking the club
[8:14] Speaker 1: straight straight away. Now what it is just.
[8:16] Speaker 4: Who I just people saying it, so give me their names.
[8:19] Speaker 1: People saying the same old titans of that. And Heidi,
[8:22] Speaker 1: God bless him, got him on the hat here. He said,
[8:24] Speaker 1: I don't think they'll win a game to year till
[8:27] Speaker 1: round eleven. Now, he said the same thing about the
[8:30] Speaker 1: Dolphins in their first year. They went on this amazing streak.
[8:33] Speaker 1: But I said, I'm confident that will win at least
[8:37] Speaker 1: five of the first eleven. There you go, big call, yep,
[8:40] Speaker 1: I love it.
[8:41] Speaker 4: I would be hoping for more than that, I said.
[8:43] Speaker 2: At least, he said, at least Heindi's got the kiss
[8:46] Speaker 2: of death to anything. Heindi says usually opposite talking about
[8:49] Speaker 2: the kiss of death, I went and watched the Friday
[8:51] Speaker 2: night games last week. I think it was Rooster's Warriors
[8:54] Speaker 2: and Broncos Penrith with the greatest kiss of death of
[8:58] Speaker 2: all Andrew John's he Joey's said leading of the game,
[9:00] Speaker 2: he goes, Roosters will win this by fifty and Broncos
[9:03] Speaker 2: will roll Penrith. Both teams just got absolutely rolled. As
[9:08] Speaker 2: I was sitting there watching it with him, it was
[9:09] Speaker 2: so funny. I haven't seen him. I always look at
[9:12] Speaker 2: his tips leading into a week. Can cannot tip the
[9:17] Speaker 2: big fella like. I haven't seen someone who has publicly
[9:21] Speaker 2: come out and made such a big statement about team
[9:23] Speaker 2: winning and then they just never win.
[9:24] Speaker 1: A better decade ago, he was going through a particularly
[9:27] Speaker 1: bad stretch with his tipping, and it was just like
[9:29] Speaker 1: the moment year I'd speak to him and say, the
[9:32] Speaker 1: moment he was absolutely definitive on something, I just go
[9:35] Speaker 1: back the other way. It would always work, I reckon, Yeah.
[9:39] Speaker 2: I always we should get like someone to run the stats.
[9:42] Speaker 2: I want someone have the details and all of these
[9:44] Speaker 2: old tips and see how many years actually.
[9:46] Speaker 5: Guys, can we actually start our own little tipp and
[9:48] Speaker 5: cop Because I'm not in a tipping comp and I
[9:50] Speaker 5: actually thought, oh, I wouldn't mind being.
[9:52] Speaker 2: Him family tipping cop this week.
[9:55] Speaker 1: Jack, you will favor that.
[9:56] Speaker 2: Just should we finish this, can we tip him at
[9:58] Speaker 2: the end of the party today.
[10:00] Speaker 3: You can do that for the team. For me, we
[10:02] Speaker 3: should actually start a backstage TV. Yeah, yeah, I'll be
[10:06] Speaker 3: able to. I can set it up to look into
[10:08] Speaker 3: something like that. I don't know if it's too late
[10:10] Speaker 3: after round one, I don't think. So we can start
[10:12] Speaker 3: from round ten. Maybe we'll see what happens round ten
[10:14] Speaker 3: after the.
[10:14] Speaker 2: Titans are done winning five from eleven.
[10:16] Speaker 3: I like to round up. Just simplified my mind.
[10:20] Speaker 1: Just stay with us Titans fans and like it's going
[10:24] Speaker 1: to happen.
[10:25] Speaker 4: So what have the Brisbane fans? They didn't even score
[10:28] Speaker 4: a bloody they.
[10:29] Speaker 2: Won, then they won the camp last.
[10:31] Speaker 4: Time, and then you have to have they scored no
[10:37] Speaker 4: points right?
[10:37] Speaker 2: No, yeah, yeah, that's pretty bad. They played the parents.
[10:41] Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know again, just give us your thoughts.
[10:43] Speaker 1: Just call Madge now, I'm.
[10:46] Speaker 4: Very busy and you have a lot of calls to
[10:48] Speaker 4: make today.
[10:50] Speaker 2: What have you had?
[10:51] Speaker 4: No, I'm not well. I've got a ribout in my back.
[10:53] Speaker 3: You wouldn't be able to well she's not well, I
[10:56] Speaker 3: be profne I'm looking at right now what the court the.
[11:00] Speaker 1: Dinner you cooked last night, that was spectacular.
[11:02] Speaker 2: That was eat feed. That was one of your great
[11:05] Speaker 2: That was a good feed. And I know a hammy
[11:07] Speaker 2: on here about portions all the times, like not understanding
[11:10] Speaker 2: portions perfectly? How many people you are cooking for perfection?
[11:13] Speaker 1: Last night?
[11:14] Speaker 2: Okay, you cooked a slow cooked lamb or some shoulders
[11:18] Speaker 2: pork shoulder, mb shoulder, and you had like the sweet
[11:22] Speaker 2: potatoes and the potatoes and the mashed potato. You had
[11:25] Speaker 2: three separate potatoes. Potato, heaven and I love potatoes. Used
[11:29] Speaker 2: to be quite known as a scum food, and then
[11:32] Speaker 2: they used to feed it to pigs potato and then
[11:34] Speaker 2: obviously is that right, did.
[11:37] Speaker 1: They No, No, a scum food, it needs to give
[11:40] Speaker 1: to pigs and prisoners lobster. But but did you know
[11:46] Speaker 1: the potato when the potatoes found in the Americas and
[11:49] Speaker 1: brought up by Columbus, it actually the very nature of
[11:52] Speaker 1: the potato. The population of Europe grew sixty percent a
[11:57] Speaker 1: short period of time. You can grow underground. The Irish
[12:02] Speaker 1: it was a national dish.
[12:03] Speaker 2: And broccolini and corn.
[12:06] Speaker 4: As a good homemade gravy.
[12:08] Speaker 2: Homemade gray ox. Yeah, but that's the brand and a
[12:12] Speaker 2: gray box.
[12:14] Speaker 1: It's not a potential potential sponsor. Let's go.
[12:19] Speaker 4: All the good family roost.
[12:22] Speaker 1: This is a just a quick thing at the moment.
[12:25] Speaker 1: This is a it's a sad story. You know what's
[12:34] Speaker 1: been happening atrition. Don't step on a tagline here, because
[12:37] Speaker 1: you know I'm building something. She's what I've been doing
[12:40] Speaker 1: in the last couple of weeks. I've been like the
[12:43] Speaker 1: old fashion bubble bath. So I spotted it on the side,
[12:46] Speaker 1: and I'm pouring the bubble bath in and anyway, I'm
[12:50] Speaker 1: thinking myself, they don't make them what they used to.
[12:52] Speaker 1: I'm just trying. I'm scattering the water, trying to get
[12:54] Speaker 1: it the bubble up, because you want to be covered
[12:56] Speaker 1: in bubbles. Nothing. In fact, after I get out of
[13:00] Speaker 1: the bath, at least with this sort of film on me,
[13:03] Speaker 1: I don't knowing what the hell is going on. So anyway,
[13:05] Speaker 1: last night I thought to give it one more go,
[13:06] Speaker 1: So I've gone, I've put it off. Sun On goes,
[13:10] Speaker 1: what are you doing? What did you Tom? Just putting
[13:12] Speaker 1: the bubble bath in? She goes, that's not bubble bar
[13:15] Speaker 1: that's vadgicil, No way leading.
[13:22] Speaker 4: It's in a purple bottle, and so is the lavender
[13:24] Speaker 4: bubble bar.
[13:25] Speaker 2: So how big is the bottle of vegicil like like
[13:27] Speaker 2: almost like laund like a shampoo.
[13:31] Speaker 1: So I've been tipically and I thought it myself, My god.
[13:32] Speaker 4: It wasn't been washing your hair with it.
[13:34] Speaker 2: Maybe it wasn't using the bottle on the film.
[13:36] Speaker 1: Actually really Aly not washing her hair, but dip my
[13:40] Speaker 1: head under just for very iris, I'm so clear.
[13:44] Speaker 2: For clarification, that's like I suppose that's more for like
[13:48] Speaker 2: a rash or a itchy ointment. No, no, it's p
[13:54] Speaker 2: h pH level.
[13:56] Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, pH level, so that it does called any irritation.
[14:01] Speaker 2: So anything I'm very interested by, Like if.
[14:03] Speaker 4: You try it on your face, it might be.
[14:05] Speaker 2: Yes, I love some phr and they let me tell
[14:09] Speaker 2: you that I'm very interested by pH levels. I've always
[14:15] Speaker 2: been very interested in, like akal like the pH levels
[14:19] Speaker 2: of the female body, the female anatomy. I find it
[14:22] Speaker 2: very interesting how it can be affected by like diet,
[14:26] Speaker 2: what you drink, like.
[14:27] Speaker 4: As you as you as your body.
[14:29] Speaker 2: Yeah, but we don't really have like our nether reasons
[14:31] Speaker 2: aren't affected by that well, I don't know.
[14:34] Speaker 4: I think they might be have.
[14:36] Speaker 3: A look at Cooper the night after a big night.
[14:37] Speaker 3: I'll tell you what you if you can look from
[14:39] Speaker 3: the outside in, you'd be you would have no question.
[14:41] Speaker 5: Would there be smelling nuts? Matt used to play with
[14:44] Speaker 5: the guy who's noticed smelling nuts?
[14:47] Speaker 2: What I mean when you say played with him? I
[14:48] Speaker 2: played for you with him?
[14:49] Speaker 1: Or who is okay? So how it came about. How
[14:55] Speaker 1: it come about was that him and his wife used
[14:58] Speaker 1: to argue quite a bit sometimes, and we played a
[15:00] Speaker 1: game and he's at the bar and he's had about
[15:02] Speaker 1: ten schooners and he wasn't good when he get a
[15:05] Speaker 1: few grogs and him, yeah, anyway, she was his wife
[15:08] Speaker 1: was sitting down with all the other wives and girlfriends,
[15:11] Speaker 1: and Chief was sitting amongst them, and Chief goes, Chimpy
[15:15] Speaker 1: was one of the worst. I feel so sorry for him,
[15:17] Speaker 1: so bad. He said. She's sitting there and he's looking
[15:21] Speaker 1: down at the group and he can see they're all
[15:22] Speaker 1: talking about him, so he's loving it's yeah anyway, but
[15:26] Speaker 1: his wife goes, does anyone give their wives or boy
[15:30] Speaker 1: husbands or boyfriends a head job? And the couple went
[15:34] Speaker 1: I tried to. I tried to once with so and
[15:37] Speaker 1: so she goes, I couldn't. His nuts just smelt so bad.
[15:41] Speaker 1: He's honestly, they were filth. She goes, Oh, just thinking
[15:45] Speaker 1: about it makes me want to vomit. And they're all
[15:47] Speaker 1: looking at him, and he's chiefs. He has got his schooner.
[15:50] Speaker 1: This guy. Yeah, like you been spoken about. So then
[15:54] Speaker 1: of course the word got out and Joey, Joey, Joey
[15:59] Speaker 1: is really sensitive feelings. Every time in the game he
[16:01] Speaker 1: drop a ball during the game or do something on
[16:04] Speaker 1: the team video. You just cant are smelling nuts. Smelling nuts,
[16:07] Speaker 1: just pull your head in, mate.
[16:09] Speaker 4: So maybe he could have done with some badger's still down.
[16:11] Speaker 1: The badger soul.
[16:13] Speaker 2: So what is there a fact? Is there a negative
[16:15] Speaker 2: effect on your body that you've been bathing in it to.
[16:17] Speaker 1: The last that's all been positive. As you know, I
[16:20] Speaker 1: was bleeding from the anus for a little bit that stopped.
[16:22] Speaker 2: So did you end up getting your You're still.
[16:25] Speaker 5: Waiting, still want to hear back from the place I'm
[16:28] Speaker 5: be going there. I've contacted a different specialist.
[16:30] Speaker 3: You're so impressive.
[16:33] Speaker 1: It's like Trisha. They rushed me into the the GP.
[16:37] Speaker 1: Great mate, and hast mate, we better get onto this
[16:39] Speaker 1: blah blah blah, and all of a sudden the place
[16:42] Speaker 1: that they suggested that we're trying to book into. They
[16:45] Speaker 1: just can't be bothered getting back to it. A little
[16:47] Speaker 1: bit busy at the moment, just.
[16:49] Speaker 4: Has to have evaluated. Isn't that part of a job?
[16:52] Speaker 1: I'm bleeding from the asshole. Let's get this man in here.
[16:55] Speaker 2: Maybe it's maybe they're a little bit worried because you've
[16:57] Speaker 2: been requesting colons every week for the lot for the
[17:00] Speaker 2: last twelve years.
[17:01] Speaker 1: I'll have a second opinion on that.
[17:04] Speaker 2: Maddie John's we can't have you in here again. You're
[17:06] Speaker 2: a waste of tax players money. You know what I'm
[17:09] Speaker 2: doing this week? Well, just before we get off a
[17:11] Speaker 2: bit of footy staff the first sideline commentary role. I'm
[17:17] Speaker 2: not shipping on anyone sideline commentary Sunday afternoon at Brookie
[17:22] Speaker 2: over nights versus Manly Wow, Sea Dog on the sideline
[17:27] Speaker 2: and down to Sea Dog for the expert opinion.
[17:30] Speaker 3: Down here.
[17:31] Speaker 4: How did you enjoy it last week? Working with gave
[17:33] Speaker 4: our man gave Yeah.
[17:34] Speaker 2: Those listeners that have been listening to family podcasts, Yeah,
[17:38] Speaker 2: gavel on gaviscon gav is the he's the anchor on
[17:41] Speaker 2: that shows a host of it. He heads it up.
[17:43] Speaker 2: It was call team. It was very good.
[17:45] Speaker 1: I would I'll see this give you tips straight away.
[17:48] Speaker 1: Don't underestimate what a tough job that is on the
[17:51] Speaker 1: side of it is.
[17:52] Speaker 4: I don't think I don't think Matt enjoyed it.
[17:54] Speaker 1: It is so easy commentating from up in the box
[17:57] Speaker 1: because you just sit You can pick and choose your
[17:59] Speaker 1: moments when you want to come in in ball rolls,
[18:01] Speaker 1: in the touch chat, you've got a great view of
[18:03] Speaker 1: the game. You can see things sort of unfolding down
[18:05] Speaker 1: you're at ground level. You don't see that much, and
[18:08] Speaker 1: you don't know when they're going to come to you.
[18:09] Speaker 1: They'll just go down, Hey, Coop, what's going on? Yeah, yeah,
[18:11] Speaker 1: breeze from the southeast. You've already told us that a
[18:13] Speaker 1: little earlier. So it can be a tough job. You
[18:17] Speaker 1: just got to have a little notepad there and just
[18:18] Speaker 1: make a few notes on the run. Can they come
[18:20] Speaker 1: down to you. You've got something for it, all right.
[18:22] Speaker 1: And whenever you hear in the coverage and they go right, Coop,
[18:25] Speaker 1: what did they say? What do they what? The coaches
[18:27] Speaker 1: say at halftime, you just make that up. So he
[18:29] Speaker 1: just because no one tells you when they're coming out,
[18:31] Speaker 1: and you'll say maybe to the coach, say no, assistant's
[18:33] Speaker 1: going to go, mate. He said, what we've got to do.
[18:36] Speaker 1: We've got to hit the blind side. We've got to
[18:38] Speaker 1: target this bloke, so just make it. Just say, oh,
[18:40] Speaker 1: I was just talking to the coaches. You just came
[18:42] Speaker 1: out of the shed justin Wholebrook, and he said, mate,
[18:44] Speaker 1: what we're going to look to do. We're gonna load
[18:45] Speaker 1: up Kayleon Pong on the left hand side and look
[18:47] Speaker 1: to switch to the little them around a little later
[18:48] Speaker 1: in the garden.
[18:49] Speaker 2: So they make all that shit up.
[18:51] Speaker 1: I would imagine, well used to.
[18:53] Speaker 2: Good point because no one that's a good point because
[18:55] Speaker 2: no coach is coming out and then telling them what
[18:58] Speaker 2: they want to focus on. So then can air it
[19:00] Speaker 2: out on live radio.
[19:01] Speaker 1: Maybe they do tell them. I totally used to make
[19:03] Speaker 1: it up. So you just had a real quick conversation
[19:06] Speaker 1: with Ricky Stewart. Rabsey sends his best for your birthday. Meanwhile,
[19:10] Speaker 1: what he said was, mate, they're going to attack the
[19:12] Speaker 1: totally made it up.
[19:12] Speaker 2: The weird thing is I'm going to have Like Jack
[19:14] Speaker 2: made a good point to me the other day. He goes,
[19:16] Speaker 2: you're going to have like mates on the manly bench
[19:17] Speaker 2: and the knights bench. They're going to be looking at
[19:19] Speaker 2: you with your little headset on and you Pepolo doing
[19:22] Speaker 2: the sideline comment. It's going to be so awkward for me?
[19:25] Speaker 4: Will it be?
[19:28] Speaker 2: Probably?
[19:28] Speaker 1: Imagine that? What about the applause when you walk out
[19:31] Speaker 1: the crowd, like you know, the hero, the hero returning
[19:35] Speaker 1: like Julius Caesar himself. I will say, wear passage.
[19:38] Speaker 2: Probably just wear me like the work merch they've given me.
[19:41] Speaker 2: Probably just wear that the work bench.
[19:46] Speaker 1: Why don't you wear Why do you make a statement?
[19:52] Speaker 1: Why don't you make a statement? Why don't you turn
[19:54] Speaker 1: up with the do this to be?
[19:56] Speaker 2: Because now that you said it on the potty, I'm
[19:57] Speaker 2: going to do it.
[19:58] Speaker 3: That would actually be very good.
[20:00] Speaker 4: Yeah, like you know you do boo or deboo sideline?
[20:05] Speaker 2: I might do the old Brad Parker were all black
[20:08] Speaker 2: and so I've come from a funeral.
[20:10] Speaker 1: I'll get something for you and I'm happy to run past.
[20:13] Speaker 1: Run this past gave everyone.
[20:15] Speaker 2: Why would you need to run a past?
[20:17] Speaker 1: Day?
[20:18] Speaker 2: But you think, why would you need to run a past?
[20:19] Speaker 2: Like you think you run as.
[20:22] Speaker 1: Well now because what I'll say to Gav is so
[20:24] Speaker 1: he can sort of get things.
[20:25] Speaker 2: But your arrival, mate.
[20:26] Speaker 1: I think I'm going to I'll do the thinking on
[20:29] Speaker 1: behalf of you using my imagination. I think that you
[20:33] Speaker 1: can have your own How could I say gimmick is
[20:36] Speaker 1: the sideline but you actually start to build your own
[20:38] Speaker 1: brain on everyone? Everyone is. You've got so many people
[20:41] Speaker 1: who do sideline. Why don't you stand out for something
[20:43] Speaker 1: a little bit different. I'll speak to Gave, I get
[20:46] Speaker 1: them to give you take a throne to the game.
[20:49] Speaker 1: Every time you sideline, have a throne and you turn
[20:52] Speaker 1: up with like a suit with a tucksu you don't want,
[20:55] Speaker 1: and you just always sit there.
[20:56] Speaker 2: I like it, I actually like it.
[20:57] Speaker 1: And you sit there with like a finger food want
[21:00] Speaker 1: like a plateau and a wine.
[21:02] Speaker 4: Grapes, someone feeding your grape grapes.
[21:05] Speaker 3: Yeah, Cavia, get the touchy, get the touch the touch
[21:08] Speaker 3: its feed your grapes thro out the game.
[21:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'm like kind of like Russell Crowe gratitator
[21:12] Speaker 2: and they go coop down there and I just give.
[21:14] Speaker 2: Even though it's a strictly audio platform, they said Matt
[21:17] Speaker 2: Thoms will go. What do you think on the sideline, Coops,
[21:18] Speaker 2: I'll just give him a thumbs up or a thumbs out.
[21:20] Speaker 2: Here he's given the thumbs up.
[21:21] Speaker 1: I love Gladiated Gradiator. But anyway, but what don't you have,
[21:27] Speaker 1: d Dad.
[21:27] Speaker 3: It's called vadger seal and the veadg of soul.
[21:31] Speaker 1: Soul. Why don't you sit on the right hand side,
[21:34] Speaker 1: have an artisan board like you with cheeses and things
[21:37] Speaker 1: like that, and on the left hand side you just
[21:39] Speaker 1: sit there with it with your favorite bottle of red.
[21:41] Speaker 3: You know what, maybe a nice I reckon that'd be.
[21:44] Speaker 3: That'd be totally in the two two GB budget. I
[21:47] Speaker 3: reckon for it's a sideline commentary.
[21:49] Speaker 5: With audio by the lordes Food.
[21:52] Speaker 3: And I think you've missed the point. I think the
[21:55] Speaker 3: point is that the budget would be completely wasted for
[21:57] Speaker 3: an audio platform.
[21:59] Speaker 2: I love it. I love it, throwing it up. Let's
[22:02] Speaker 2: turn if for any of our back if any of
[22:04] Speaker 2: our family potty backstays listeners are down there, prepare to
[22:07] Speaker 2: see me tucked up and down the throne.
[22:08] Speaker 1: And what they should do? They should cut to you.
[22:10] Speaker 1: It's like, Cooper, you should have it? What could I say? What?
[22:14] Speaker 1: What could his term be like, what do they a
[22:18] Speaker 1: duke just go down the sideline the duke Cooper John's.
[22:21] Speaker 2: Or Jake Duke the duke Yeah, oh yeah, like the
[22:27] Speaker 2: third they do like yeah, Dubia John the fifth, Yeah,
[22:31] Speaker 2: the fifth down the Cooper John's the fifth, son of Maddie,
[22:35] Speaker 2: nephew to Joey.
[22:36] Speaker 4: First cross And I did nothing.
[22:39] Speaker 2: You pushed me out, Yeah I did not.
[22:42] Speaker 5: They cut you me out, so you literally did I
[22:45] Speaker 5: sacrifice and stomach and.
[22:47] Speaker 2: You nearly killed me in there as well, let's not
[22:49] Speaker 2: you wrap the umbilica call around me.
[22:50] Speaker 4: Now you nearly killed me.
[22:52] Speaker 2: Well let's take.
[22:53] Speaker 1: It both killing me. But as I hold your hand,
[22:59] Speaker 1: Trish people listening, I'm holding your hand, you're holding my hand. Honestly,
[23:03] Speaker 1: I could not think of a better vessel to carry
[23:05] Speaker 1: my children.
[23:07] Speaker 3: Your vessel made you sound like you're an alien and you.
[23:11] Speaker 2: You're a sub and dad, I couldn't think of a
[23:15] Speaker 2: better vessel to break anything.
[23:18] Speaker 4: Just stop this conversation.
[23:19] Speaker 2: I couldn't better vessel to enter that.
[23:22] Speaker 1: Let's let's get on a bit of mature maps.
[23:26] Speaker 2: Can you keep one last thing? Can you give me
[23:28] Speaker 2: a word?
[23:30] Speaker 1: Slip a word?
[23:31] Speaker 2: Can you give me a word? I'm going to try
[23:33] Speaker 2: slip it in the commentary this.
[23:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm seeing the preposteros the sun. It's supposed to
[23:38] Speaker 3: be twenty seven degrees and all sunny this weekend. Can
[23:40] Speaker 3: you put it? Can you put the word blizzard in somehow? Yes?
[23:44] Speaker 1: Done?
[23:44] Speaker 2: That's easy.
[23:45] Speaker 1: And where this one compromt?
[23:47] Speaker 2: What does that mean?
[23:48] Speaker 1: Compromt means using some information. It's like a sort of
[23:51] Speaker 1: a clever way of blackmailing. So comproment it's an old
[23:54] Speaker 1: term which is used by the stars in East Germany,
[23:57] Speaker 1: and it was to use information to extort from someone else,
[24:01] Speaker 1: so to be like saying, okay, let's say, for instance,
[24:04] Speaker 1: you said to Piggy Riddell, yeah he got full the game.
[24:06] Speaker 1: So hey, Piggy, I'm just going to give you a
[24:08] Speaker 1: little bit of inside in something mate made the boys
[24:10] Speaker 1: know that you ate a lot of the pies last week.
[24:13] Speaker 1: I went, but mate, don't worry. I've looked after it.
[24:16] Speaker 1: But you know, mate, throwing a few bones through through
[24:18] Speaker 1: the game, a few raps, that's the way. That's a
[24:20] Speaker 1: compromand it's a it's a way of blackmailing a person
[24:23] Speaker 1: certain weight of a game.
[24:24] Speaker 2: So I could say, like I got some inside word
[24:27] Speaker 2: out of Anthony Seabelt, because I've got some photos of him.
[24:29] Speaker 2: He was a compromat for me. He told me, this
[24:31] Speaker 2: is what they can do a halftime Yeah, okay.
[24:33] Speaker 3: Said they said Jeffrey Epstein did that. That's what they're saying.
[24:35] Speaker 3: That's how he caught people out. He would set it
[24:37] Speaker 3: up and then he would say come to them months
[24:40] Speaker 3: later and say, look, you've been caught out for this, yes,
[24:43] Speaker 3: and that she might have been underage, but don't worry.
[24:45] Speaker 3: I'm sorting it out and you're going to be fine.
[24:47] Speaker 3: And then they suddenly think they owe him a favor.
[24:50] Speaker 1: Jesus, this has taken a naice term from sideline commentary. Yeah,
[24:54] Speaker 1: that's exactly what it is. Hey, piggy mate, don't worry
[24:57] Speaker 1: about this blow. But trust me, I've looked.
[25:00] Speaker 4: After it because he ate too many pies.
[25:03] Speaker 1: See, you're afraid to give me a few wraps first,
[25:05] Speaker 1: cross Kerb. It's the conditions, how both sides looked in
[25:09] Speaker 1: the in the warm up, down and where the wind's
[25:11] Speaker 1: coming from. Okay, when does wind come from the southeast?
[25:17] Speaker 1: Saving the manly seagulls at the moment? Back to you,
[25:19] Speaker 1: I'll take.
[25:19] Speaker 2: My compass down.
[25:20] Speaker 3: Good should be in a panic. You'd be like, it's
[25:22] Speaker 3: coming from the north, No weight, it's coming.
[25:25] Speaker 2: Hang on a second, it's swelling. It's a blessing, hang
[25:29] Speaker 2: on going. Sorry, I just realized I'm in the locker room.
[25:31] Speaker 1: I don't know where I am, but for me, it's
[25:32] Speaker 1: quite It actually is quite surreal because I used to
[25:35] Speaker 1: listen to Continuous Call and growing up, and the sideline
[25:37] Speaker 1: commentrator was a bloke called Tony mcgay. It was a legend.
[25:41] Speaker 1: He was great, one of the great.
[25:43] Speaker 2: Guys to gain from one legend to another.
[25:45] Speaker 1: It is and they roder let's get and the balls gown.
[25:48] Speaker 1: There's a little break and play Tom derivoid, its walks
[25:50] Speaker 1: it in across the dead ball line, go line drop
[25:52] Speaker 1: out for manly sidelight eye, get a ray and he'd
[25:56] Speaker 1: always be up. So when they're crossing to your mate,
[25:59] Speaker 1: you've got to be up up. Ye Who's who's going
[26:02] Speaker 1: to be the lead commentator?
[26:03] Speaker 2: I think it's Matt Thompson and Piggy Redell.
[26:05] Speaker 1: Good on your Piggy, Thanks mate. But this is what's
[26:07] Speaker 1: happening right now. Back to you. You want people on
[26:09] Speaker 1: the radio. Sounds got to sound exciting.
[26:13] Speaker 5: It's got to sound different to the commentary books. Why
[26:18] Speaker 5: so that you know it's going from the sign.
[26:19] Speaker 1: Yeah, he's the phone again.
[26:22] Speaker 3: Just give.
[26:24] Speaker 2: She's had an opinion on a lot of areas. She
[26:27] Speaker 2: has no idea what it hang on.
[26:28] Speaker 3: I think is right. I think is right. I think
[26:30] Speaker 3: you're the person that if there's a stoppage and play
[26:33] Speaker 3: and something boring has happen, you've got to create the
[26:35] Speaker 3: atmosphere begun.
[26:36] Speaker 2: If they just went down to c on the sidelane,
[26:38] Speaker 2: they turned me mic up and I'm just down. They
[26:39] Speaker 2: going nobody, that's too much heaven No, much.
[26:45] Speaker 1: Better be hilarious. And people have gone, hang on, we're on,
[26:48] Speaker 1: We're on smooth.
[26:50] Speaker 2: And they have little micro sleep on the road.
[26:56] Speaker 1: To dangerous to the main talking point maps.
[26:59] Speaker 4: Oh gosh, Tricia.
[27:00] Speaker 5: Now I haven't been watching, so I'm not interested. But
[27:03] Speaker 5: this is just I do you think it's the lowest
[27:05] Speaker 5: form of human behavior? And I refuse to watch.
[27:08] Speaker 1: This is just a general question to you, Trish, which
[27:10] Speaker 1: I'm hoping you can solve and give some insights here
[27:13] Speaker 1: because I'm not being this is what I'm about to say.
[27:17] Speaker 1: Can people say, oh, that's misogynistic, but it's not, I
[27:22] Speaker 1: am not sure. In that break on our show on
[27:27] Speaker 1: Sunday Night, Fletch goes who's watching maths and a couple
[27:30] Speaker 1: of ladies in the audience just go. They actually said, mate,
[27:33] Speaker 1: some of the way some of the women are on there,
[27:35] Speaker 1: the way they speak to women and the men is
[27:37] Speaker 1: an absolute disgrace. One of the ladies said, Oh, it
[27:40] Speaker 1: makes me really embarrassed the way they carry and it's
[27:43] Speaker 1: so trish. When you watch shows like that, you see
[27:47] Speaker 1: that nearly all of the men. But I wanted to
[27:50] Speaker 1: they coexist. They all get on pretty good. They sort
[27:52] Speaker 1: of compromise each other, just sort of to work together
[27:55] Speaker 1: as a unit, whereas in the other room you got
[27:59] Speaker 1: the girls that are just backstabbing and tearing each other apart.
[28:02] Speaker 4: Just nasty.
[28:03] Speaker 5: Why, well, I think, well, I think it has more
[28:06] Speaker 5: to do with the type of person that's going on
[28:07] Speaker 5: there in the first place. Yeah, and that's all I say.
[28:10] Speaker 5: Do you think they and I don't think the guys
[28:12] Speaker 5: are blameless either. I've seen a couple of them. There
[28:15] Speaker 5: was one guy who's going out with some horrid men
[28:20] Speaker 5: or married to her, and she was having jibes at
[28:23] Speaker 5: a guy the other day and it was a guy
[28:26] Speaker 5: and then he started kicking on. I went on, what
[28:29] Speaker 5: are you three years old? They just I just think
[28:31] Speaker 5: it's just graceful.
[28:33] Speaker 1: Behavior at school at school.
[28:34] Speaker 2: Yeah, but they I think personality wise, they try to
[28:37] Speaker 2: get very like assertive, loud women and then like kind
[28:40] Speaker 2: of submissive, like submissive men who were kind of like, go,
[28:44] Speaker 2: they want the dominant woman in a relationship.
[28:46] Speaker 4: Yeah, and then they'll bring in a tyson.
[28:48] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[28:48] Speaker 2: But then there was a guy. Yeah, there was a
[28:49] Speaker 2: guy on there who was quite a he was quite
[28:52] Speaker 2: the aggressive one. But they I think they like because
[28:55] Speaker 2: I think because guys are more like less confrontational when
[28:58] Speaker 2: it comes to like verbal disagreements on. So I think
[29:02] Speaker 2: at the dinner parties and that the guys were kind
[29:03] Speaker 2: of just like they'll just ignore someone or they'll just
[29:05] Speaker 2: like go sit with someone else. With the girls is
[29:08] Speaker 2: like they'll just if you're disrespecting them, you'll know about.
[29:12] Speaker 3: It if the girl. If the guys get to the
[29:14] Speaker 3: point as personal as the girls are getting to each other,
[29:17] Speaker 3: you just know it's going to end in physical violence.
[29:19] Speaker 5: When I was younger, I used to like prefer hanging
[29:22] Speaker 5: out with boys than girls. They were just less complicated
[29:25] Speaker 5: they're happy just to go out have a good time dancing,
[29:29] Speaker 5: and I love that.
[29:30] Speaker 2: How many boys you're hanging out with?
[29:32] Speaker 4: I tune out with quite a few, like eleven.
[29:35] Speaker 5: Yeah, And I wasn't allowed to have boyfriends or anything,
[29:39] Speaker 5: but like my mom and dad knew that, like Pete.
[29:43] Speaker 4: Jenna, Phil, they would come by our house like you know,
[29:47] Speaker 4: they'd run out of petrol or the car break down.
[29:49] Speaker 1: They were in their forties, the principal of the school.
[29:55] Speaker 4: I love those boys. They were great.
[29:57] Speaker 2: You love them.
[30:00] Speaker 1: It's got me in this year. It's really good cause
[30:02] Speaker 1: it's my favorite time of the night. I yell out,
[30:06] Speaker 1: of course, after three sixty three, that's how good it is.
[30:10] Speaker 1: Three sixty I missed the first half now three sixty,
[30:12] Speaker 1: so I can fast forward through with the ad breaks.
[30:14] Speaker 1: And then what that lends itself to is I missed
[30:16] Speaker 1: the first twenty maths, so you can fast forward through
[30:19] Speaker 1: those add breaks. And myself and and Jack's partner Jam
[30:23] Speaker 1: we just stu up there together and just watch it.
[30:25] Speaker 1: It's our time, side by side.
[30:28] Speaker 4: Why people like watching that so much?
[30:31] Speaker 2: It's just I rang my mate James Sidery yesterday on FaceTime.
[30:36] Speaker 2: They're sitting there yeah, it just had a new boy too. Yeah,
[30:42] Speaker 2: but they were sitting there and no attention. I said,
[30:46] Speaker 2: what are you watching? Watching Maths? Everybody's watching it last year.
[30:50] Speaker 3: This year has been like I haven't watched it since
[30:52] Speaker 3: the first season. Living with a couple of the boys,
[30:54] Speaker 3: and we watched it the first series that come out.
[30:56] Speaker 3: It was amazing. But this this year. I don't know
[31:00] Speaker 3: what's happened the last few years, but this year it's
[31:02] Speaker 3: like every episode there is something. They've got to be actors.
[31:05] Speaker 3: I refuse to believe they are real people.
[31:08] Speaker 4: Okay.
[31:09] Speaker 5: I got told by someone that knew someone that was
[31:13] Speaker 5: on well, I don't know, a while ago, the chasm of.
[31:17] Speaker 1: Someone as well.
[31:19] Speaker 2: Imagine saying that in the court of law.
[31:20] Speaker 4: Okay, when have you ready?
[31:21] Speaker 2: Sorry?
[31:24] Speaker 5: That they actually got substitutes in to act as their
[31:30] Speaker 5: parents for the wedding, like their parents wouldn't go.
[31:33] Speaker 2: Oh interesting, yeah, I went, yeah, that makes sense. I
[31:36] Speaker 2: get that if I went on, would you just come
[31:38] Speaker 2: to the wedding? I reagon news to be sweet.
[31:41] Speaker 4: I really prefer you didn't go on.
[31:42] Speaker 1: I would it's an opportunity to promote myself.
[31:46] Speaker 2: Sitting there with all backstage merchants.
[31:49] Speaker 1: Would anyone like to say any words. Yeah, I'd just
[31:51] Speaker 1: like to say a few words, Cooper. I'm just so
[31:54] Speaker 1: proud of you. And of course on Thursdays and Sundays,
[31:56] Speaker 1: don't forget the late show with Maddie John's and Sunday
[31:59] Speaker 1: Night anyway, sorry, father, back on.
[32:02] Speaker 2: And it's it's funny, no, father, it's I was. I
[32:05] Speaker 2: was on my show yesterday on se and Friday's nine
[32:08] Speaker 2: to twelve Morning Glory was Maddie Johns and I was
[32:09] Speaker 2: talking about love and how it's an ideology that has
[32:13] Speaker 2: the longest lasting ideology and it made me think I
[32:17] Speaker 2: have any.
[32:19] Speaker 1: When I went to the Olympics in Paris, there was
[32:22] Speaker 1: there was an athlete, sorry Na Brusing, there was a
[32:27] Speaker 1: there was an athlete whose parent was like a TV
[32:31] Speaker 1: personality and it works in the news and it so
[32:34] Speaker 1: I was like having a chat and this went on, mate,
[32:36] Speaker 1: how good is that? Off the microphone and he he
[32:38] Speaker 1: just took the microphone in my hand. Mate. It was perfect,
[32:41] Speaker 1: And he goes, well, thanks, Maddie really appreciate it and
[32:44] Speaker 1: turned the camera and started to do and yeah and
[32:48] Speaker 1: made it was good. He was he was fantastic. I
[32:50] Speaker 1: thought he was good. Talent from throwing my bone. So mate,
[32:53] Speaker 1: what are you doing on Thursdays and Sundays? Okay, you
[32:58] Speaker 1: got something for.
[32:59] Speaker 2: I have a new segment. I have a new segment.
[33:02] Speaker 2: It's called Cooper's Conspiracies.
[33:03] Speaker 1: Oh okay, Tim Foil, we need to grab some now
[33:08] Speaker 1: before this starts.
[33:08] Speaker 3: Why, I'll let you people know you. My camera's gone off,
[33:12] Speaker 3: it's ran out, so I'll come into Cooper's camera for
[33:15] Speaker 3: this segment. I believe.
[33:16] Speaker 2: Yeah, if you want to, you can come. We'll switch
[33:18] Speaker 2: seats when I do it for you. But basically, what
[33:21] Speaker 2: this what this segment is, right, I was thinking today
[33:24] Speaker 2: and I think Trush actually said this a long time
[33:25] Speaker 2: to me ago, but someone's brought it back up to
[33:27] Speaker 2: me this morning. So I've gone to that and I've
[33:29] Speaker 2: picked up some Doritos. Now, basically what this is is,
[33:32] Speaker 2: I've got a conspiracy the dorito's taste. Each packet tastes different.
[33:36] Speaker 2: There's big Doritos, there's a middle pack Doritos, and there's
[33:39] Speaker 2: small doritos. Everybody says the same thing. The smaller ones
[33:41] Speaker 2: are the best. There's less chips, but there's more flavoring
[33:43] Speaker 2: in it. I've got a theory that they put the
[33:46] Speaker 2: same amount of flavoring even in the big packets, all
[33:48] Speaker 2: the way to the small packets. I disagree, you disagree
[33:51] Speaker 2: with me, Well, Cooper's conspiracy. I have a big packet
[33:54] Speaker 2: of I've got small packet Doritos. I've got a medium Doritos.
[33:57] Speaker 5: But in the big pack you know full well and
[33:59] Speaker 5: good sometimes like because sometimes you search for them and
[34:01] Speaker 5: throwing the ball one with more of the seasoning on it.
[34:04] Speaker 1: Well, I'll give it a crack.
[34:06] Speaker 2: You guys got to be eyes closed. You and Matthew,
[34:08] Speaker 2: I'll hand you. You have to say it, and you
[34:11] Speaker 2: think it's the big packet or the small packet, and
[34:13] Speaker 2: then at the end I'll score you out of three disappointed.
[34:16] Speaker 4: They're not twisted cheese twisted like they used to make.
[34:18] Speaker 1: You want chicken twisted.
[34:21] Speaker 2: Close your eyes because close your eyes. Close your bloody eyes.
[34:25] Speaker 4: Bloody eyes, close your eyes.
[34:29] Speaker 3: What are you doing?
[34:30] Speaker 2: Is it just selfish in the bedroom?
[34:34] Speaker 1: Stop talking about masturbations.
[34:38] Speaker 5: This is not making good radio When I can't no
[34:41] Speaker 5: one's speaking well, it's audio build.
[34:48] Speaker 2: Ever, put your hands out.
[34:51] Speaker 4: Can I start eating all that good one?
[34:56] Speaker 3: That's a good sounding crunch in the mind.
[34:59] Speaker 4: That's a great one. Whatever that one is, it'll be
[35:02] Speaker 4: hard to beat.
[35:02] Speaker 2: Big, medium or small, small, small?
[35:06] Speaker 4: Well, I don't know. I'm just saying that is.
[35:08] Speaker 5: All I'm going to say is that is you couldn't
[35:11] Speaker 5: have any more seasoning on that.
[35:12] Speaker 4: So which everyone was? That one was? It's a winner.
[35:15] Speaker 1: I think you're right if that is a small packet.
[35:17] Speaker 1: I think you're right that was except I have to say.
[35:20] Speaker 3: What are you reckon?
[35:20] Speaker 2: True? You just got to guess something is? Otherwise what
[35:22] Speaker 2: are we just going to face?
[35:23] Speaker 4: Upon what you said? I'll go that it's a whole she's.
[35:27] Speaker 2: A punished at how do you do this?
[35:30] Speaker 4: But you're just not looking at it From my.
[35:31] Speaker 1: Perspective, my purple heart just dropped off our pictures.
[35:34] Speaker 3: Forget forgets the concept of everything.
[35:37] Speaker 1: So which one is it?
[35:38] Speaker 4: Tru well?
[35:39] Speaker 5: Based upon what you said, because I don't believe it,
[35:42] Speaker 5: I'll say that it's a small packet.
[35:44] Speaker 2: Suck your bloody sucked.
[35:46] Speaker 4: Okay, all I'm saying is that that was highly seasoned.
[35:50] Speaker 2: I hope everyone everyone listening is their mothers do the
[35:53] Speaker 2: same thing.
[35:53] Speaker 5: Well, I know that this is the bigger pack just
[35:55] Speaker 5: from the sound effects.
[35:57] Speaker 2: Okay, I'm giving you put those beautiful hands out. You
[36:07] Speaker 2: have such nice hands, mam.
[36:09] Speaker 4: Thank you.
[36:10] Speaker 5: Well, this is a much bigger chip to start with.
[36:12] Speaker 5: I've got my eyes closed, less seasoning. I'm going to
[36:17] Speaker 5: say this is the big packet.
[36:18] Speaker 3: I haven't even eaten it yet.
[36:22] Speaker 2: How do you how have you stayed married?
[36:24] Speaker 4: Do you look it first before you eat it?
[36:28] Speaker 2: You?
[36:28] Speaker 3: Sure?
[36:29] Speaker 1: What are we talking about here?
[36:31] Speaker 4: Whatever you like? Say that's a big one.
[36:36] Speaker 2: That's a big packet.
[36:36] Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's a small packet.
[36:38] Speaker 2: No, that's a big you said the small on the
[36:41] Speaker 2: first one. You think I'm smaller.
[36:43] Speaker 1: That's a small one.
[36:44] Speaker 2: My eyes yet, because you've got one more?
[36:46] Speaker 4: Oh Jesus, hang on? Or what about small? Medium?
[36:48] Speaker 1: Do what I've done. I'm going to go. I'm going
[36:50] Speaker 1: to go. I didn't know there was a medium. I'm
[36:51] Speaker 1: going to go. The first one was medium, that one
[36:53] Speaker 1: was small.
[36:53] Speaker 4: Is there a medium?
[36:55] Speaker 2: Yes? There is true. I did say that from the start. Sorry, okay,
[36:59] Speaker 2: so you're changing to you miss a lot of ship. Okay, mad,
[37:09] Speaker 2: here we go the last chip, hands out, hands out,
[37:12] Speaker 2: hands Okay.
[37:18] Speaker 4: On the basis of that, I would say that that
[37:20] Speaker 4: was the medium.
[37:21] Speaker 2: You think that's the medium one, that's a big one. Okay,
[37:26] Speaker 2: you may open your eyes.
[37:27] Speaker 4: It's nicely flavored.
[37:30] Speaker 2: The results, Dad, you went three for three. The first
[37:33] Speaker 2: one was medium, second one was small, last one was big. Really, yeah, Trisha.
[37:39] Speaker 4: The first one was medium? Did you say medium? I
[37:42] Speaker 4: thought you said small.
[37:42] Speaker 2: He changed to medium because the last one had more flavor.
[37:45] Speaker 1: Again, yeah, I disagree.
[37:48] Speaker 2: You were for three. You said small, big, medium, and
[37:51] Speaker 2: pually medium small beak.
[37:54] Speaker 3: Can we just now, look, I'm not usually one to clarify,
[37:57] Speaker 3: but that you do understand then that was a game,
[38:01] Speaker 3: right you know?
[38:02] Speaker 5: All I wanted to say was that my point, which
[38:06] Speaker 5: also would have worked for the game, was that I
[38:09] Speaker 5: was going to say which one had the most seasoning
[38:12] Speaker 5: and then you could have matched it that gat.
[38:13] Speaker 1: Do I give you a why I've gone for that?
[38:16] Speaker 1: Why I switched? There was the first one, and when
[38:19] Speaker 1: I had my doritos, I generally have him in a
[38:22] Speaker 1: big packet, right that that first one I took actually
[38:25] Speaker 1: tasted different flavor, and I thought that was a small
[38:28] Speaker 1: one until until you give me the next one. I
[38:31] Speaker 1: have more flavor again, and there is a difference. And
[38:33] Speaker 1: the last one it wasn't so much that it had
[38:36] Speaker 1: less seasoning, it just didn't have that as an intense as.
[38:41] Speaker 3: Less love conspiracy.
[38:44] Speaker 2: I think it's true that.
[38:45] Speaker 3: Or is it? Well?
[38:46] Speaker 4: Not really? Because didn't you say the medium had the
[38:48] Speaker 4: most flavor?
[38:50] Speaker 2: I said the small? Why did I say? Why would
[38:52] Speaker 2: I ever say medium?
[38:52] Speaker 3: Now?
[38:52] Speaker 1: I said, I he said.
[38:54] Speaker 4: That the medium had the most Do you.
[38:57] Speaker 2: Listen when.
[38:59] Speaker 1: Try not to?
[39:00] Speaker 3: Try not to?
[39:01] Speaker 1: Yeah, what happened to the first one? I thought it
[39:03] Speaker 1: was small, becaus had more flavor until I had the
[39:05] Speaker 1: second one and had more flavor again.
[39:07] Speaker 4: But that's a matter of opinion because I didn't believe
[39:09] Speaker 4: that it isn't matter.
[39:11] Speaker 1: That's right, and I was right three from three.
[39:13] Speaker 4: Well, you're right, Well, according to my data, let this be.
[39:18] Speaker 1: Emblematic of what I have to put up with every day.
[39:21] Speaker 4: But I've disproved you. So you're just going with Matt.
[39:24] Speaker 4: You're saying you've.
[39:25] Speaker 2: Just yeah, I'm just going with Dad because but I'll
[39:28] Speaker 2: tell you what. It's excellent that this segment has followed
[39:30] Speaker 2: the maps chat because there's really epitomized my married at
[39:33] Speaker 2: first sights about.
[39:36] Speaker 3: Would you they're death staring each other at the moon,
[39:39] Speaker 3: would you.
[39:40] Speaker 1: If they did an experiment right where you had to
[39:42] Speaker 1: live with another husband another wife for one week. Would
[39:44] Speaker 1: you enter that, Yeah.
[39:47] Speaker 4: I absolutely would. Would I'd be running.
[39:50] Speaker 2: You got someone in mind.
[39:51] Speaker 4: It'd be hard to be worse than your brother to
[39:53] Speaker 4: go back to.
[39:53] Speaker 2: Her ex husband.
[39:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, she's had a few, Jack, Do.
[39:58] Speaker 2: You want to have a crack of it?
[39:59] Speaker 3: Yeah, give us a I don't really need the to
[40:02] Speaker 3: get in camera anyway, So yeah, close my eyes. Just
[40:08] Speaker 3: leave it on me, and then I leave it on you.
[40:11] Speaker 2: Just leave it on Cooper, leave it on me.
[40:15] Speaker 3: Close your eyes. Yeah, get your mind closer.
[40:18] Speaker 2: Don't want you to pick it up.
[40:19] Speaker 3: I don't want to get the crunch in the too loud.
[40:21] Speaker 4: Oh I thought you liked that?
[40:22] Speaker 5: Were you being facetious when you said it?
[40:27] Speaker 4: I'm not going to you have to feed him. He
[40:29] Speaker 4: doesn't know where his hand is, ned land his mouth?
[40:32] Speaker 2: Mean you guys did.
[40:35] Speaker 5: What do you think that is?
[40:36] Speaker 1: What do you think that I can take the next one?
[40:39] Speaker 3: Jack will give you of the moment I'm going to
[40:40] Speaker 3: say small?
[40:43] Speaker 2: Oh really?
[40:45] Speaker 3: Yeah? It was pretty flavorous on okay.
[40:48] Speaker 1: And you can't maneuver at any point?
[40:51] Speaker 3: Can you?
[40:51] Speaker 2: Can you? On this one? Just put your hand out
[40:53] Speaker 2: so I don't need to actually put it in your mouth.
[40:56] Speaker 2: Kind of feels weird.
[40:58] Speaker 4: Mhmm, you're a pleasure to watch it, though it's actually satisfying.
[41:05] Speaker 3: Large. Do you think that one's the live that was
[41:08] Speaker 3: definitely less than the first one?
[41:09] Speaker 2: Okay, okay, just shotting this case study stuff down.
[41:13] Speaker 1: Really, I love the way you love he's a statistician.
[41:19] Speaker 4: Yeah, it doesn't matter. We're going to break off a bit.
[41:26] Speaker 2: What's that one?
[41:27] Speaker 3: That one was small? So changing small? My first one
[41:30] Speaker 3: was medium and the middle one was large. Okay.
[41:33] Speaker 2: See you're saying you're changing the first one to a
[41:35] Speaker 2: medium and then big and then small. Jack, You've now
[41:38] Speaker 2: that just like that, it is true.
[41:41] Speaker 1: It is that experiment has proven it is true for boys.
[41:44] Speaker 2: Anyways, write a letter to I just did. I've already had.
[41:48] Speaker 2: I wrote it before. Excellent, I said, put a couple
[41:52] Speaker 2: of naked photos in there as well.
[41:56] Speaker 3: Imagine that.
[41:58] Speaker 4: Do you know what I've got?
[42:00] Speaker 5: I read an article the other day about weird new businesses. Okay,
[42:07] Speaker 5: this is where they're offered in Japan, the UK and US.
[42:10] Speaker 5: You can pay for professional cuddling services.
[42:14] Speaker 2: Nice the business Japan.
[42:15] Speaker 1: I don't doubt that.
[42:16] Speaker 4: UK and US though.
[42:17] Speaker 1: That's strange.
[42:19] Speaker 4: Rent a friend of.
[42:20] Speaker 5: Services I just called prostitution in Japan. Companionship for events
[42:25] Speaker 5: and outings and conversation.
[42:27] Speaker 3: That business would be quite the be quite well, are
[42:30] Speaker 3: going there be good business some people. Some people look
[42:32] Speaker 3: just to go.
[42:34] Speaker 4: Yeah, they don't want a relationship. They just want to
[42:36] Speaker 4: go to the movies with.
[42:37] Speaker 2: Someone, go for dinner someone, just like an escort.
[42:40] Speaker 5: Yes, without titling that because that has connotations with it
[42:43] Speaker 5: of a sexual nature.
[42:45] Speaker 4: Okay, there's things.
[42:46] Speaker 2: Called center rungs, his winger off the ball, put a
[42:51] Speaker 2: bomber for the stories.
[42:55] Speaker 5: Very Asian oriented crying cafes, emotional rules rooms Japan and
[43:01] Speaker 5: South Korea.
[43:02] Speaker 3: I think North Korea has those as well.
[43:05] Speaker 1: That must have been interesting because those are those cultures
[43:10] Speaker 1: that sort of encourage to hide your emotions.
[43:12] Speaker 4: Interesting, they're allowing them.
[43:14] Speaker 2: To bet when you're behind closed doors.
[43:16] Speaker 4: Have it this one?
[43:18] Speaker 5: Open conversations about death over tea. Death cafes in UK,
[43:24] Speaker 5: Europe and Japan. Death cafes where people could go and
[43:28] Speaker 5: talk about death.
[43:29] Speaker 2: Like wanting to.
[43:30] Speaker 5: I guess it's a part of a grieving process and morning.
[43:33] Speaker 5: But maybe it's like minded people.
[43:36] Speaker 1: I know when it would be interest how you agree?
[43:39] Speaker 1: Good hair going? Did I cook?
[43:41] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[43:42] Speaker 5: I think it's more about shared experiences and shared loss.
[43:46] Speaker 2: I feel like very quickly that would pivot to just
[43:48] Speaker 2: a place gathering for serial killers.
[43:52] Speaker 4: If you're evil keeper, I've got a do you.
[43:56] Speaker 3: I've got one where a cafe, right, so everyone has
[43:59] Speaker 3: the like that. You know, you've got Wi Fi and
[44:01] Speaker 3: you can work from a cafe, et cetera, et cetera.
[44:04] Speaker 3: But you know what I hate. If you work from
[44:05] Speaker 3: a cafe, you run into people you know, and that's time.
[44:08] Speaker 3: You know, it's good to see people you know, but
[44:10] Speaker 3: when you're trying to work, you're trying to work. I
[44:12] Speaker 3: would like to start a cafe that is a workplace
[44:16] Speaker 3: cafe where you have a time limit of two hours,
[44:19] Speaker 3: you have to order two at least two items off
[44:22] Speaker 3: the menu, and then you can you have a little
[44:24] Speaker 3: section of the actual cafe that is like you know,
[44:28] Speaker 3: there's a barrier barrier up so people can't see you
[44:31] Speaker 3: and you can sort of lock in having a little
[44:33] Speaker 3: one like a space like that, Like if you have
[44:36] Speaker 3: a small cafe where you can at least yeah, like
[44:38] Speaker 3: eight slots where people can you know, that's eight customers there.
[44:42] Speaker 3: I think that would go all right.
[44:43] Speaker 1: Do it in the cubicle have a silent section. I
[44:45] Speaker 1: like it, Jack.
[44:48] Speaker 5: I mean they do have works shared work spaces, but
[44:50] Speaker 5: I think they change them.
[44:52] Speaker 3: Yeah a fair bit. Two hours max. You can just
[44:54] Speaker 3: go in there and knock out some work for two hours,
[44:56] Speaker 3: change of environment, and you don't have to have the
[44:59] Speaker 3: you know, stop workflow and someone you know walks in.
[45:01] Speaker 2: I know what you're thinking. I know what you think.
[45:03] Speaker 1: If you just to start a cafe, it's like a
[45:05] Speaker 1: restaurant or something. I would prefer to start a cafe
[45:07] Speaker 1: that it's just breakfast, early lunch and then cuts off,
[45:11] Speaker 1: shut it down.
[45:12] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's you ram coop in. So when we're in
[45:15] Speaker 3: when we were in Japan, Itch you run Ramen is
[45:17] Speaker 3: like this massive franchise and basically you walk in, you
[45:21] Speaker 3: tag a letter. You don't have any interaction with people.
[45:24] Speaker 3: You just go into a little booth. You can go
[45:26] Speaker 3: in and like with someone with you next year, like
[45:28] Speaker 3: so I went with Cooper and basically you just go
[45:31] Speaker 3: and then there's a little blind that opens up, gives
[45:32] Speaker 3: you your food and then goes away.
[45:34] Speaker 2: You're like, it's an ATM. Almost you say what you want,
[45:37] Speaker 2: it prints out of ticket. You just passed the ticket. Through.
[45:39] Speaker 2: You don't even see the chef on the person server
[45:42] Speaker 2: on the other side, the cubicles little window. You don't
[45:44] Speaker 2: All you see is their hands.
[45:46] Speaker 4: Do you sit there and eat it?
[45:47] Speaker 2: Or is it taste there? And you can take it
[45:49] Speaker 2: away if you want. But their little hands pop out
[45:51] Speaker 2: and you just put your tag in there, they read it,
[45:53] Speaker 2: they bring out your amen, and then they shut the
[45:55] Speaker 2: blind again. Like you're just so isolated, and it's nice.
[45:57] Speaker 3: It's actually quite calming after this, Like if you scratched
[46:01] Speaker 3: their back, they got yours.
[46:03] Speaker 1: Yeah, itchy bunt.
[46:05] Speaker 3: There's lines out of the door. It's very hard to
[46:06] Speaker 3: get in. There's lines at lunch and even they're open
[46:09] Speaker 3: twenty four hours in Japan, like it's just loaded out
[46:13] Speaker 3: the door.
[46:14] Speaker 1: Its good. Really, they have the funkiest stuff, the Japanese.
[46:17] Speaker 4: They really do.
[46:18] Speaker 2: Mate. Heywood over there, the man who cried after sex
[46:23] Speaker 2: the first time he lost his virginity, Harry Hayward.
[46:25] Speaker 1: Of course, because he's half Chinese.
[46:28] Speaker 2: He's half Chinese, but he's yeah, of course, he's in
[46:31] Speaker 2: Communist Actually, he's over in Japan right now. We took
[46:35] Speaker 2: him to Tokyo back when we were sixteen, but he's
[46:37] Speaker 2: gone back with his partner Alex now and he's over
[46:39] Speaker 2: in he's in Hukkabar at the festival snow Machine.
[46:42] Speaker 1: Over his girlfriend over there.
[46:44] Speaker 2: Ye'd be fun shout out to but he The nickname
[46:47] Speaker 2: of why he cried after sex is no, it's a funny.
[46:52] Speaker 2: So we went to an all boys school and Hayward
[46:54] Speaker 2: tried to start a rumor around me, saying that he goes,
[46:58] Speaker 2: I'll start a good one about Coops and but he
[47:00] Speaker 2: told me the rumor first before he was going to
[47:02] Speaker 2: tell everyone. So me me, being quick on my feet,
[47:06] Speaker 2: I got to the whole school before he could the
[47:08] Speaker 2: next day and told him that Heywood had sex on
[47:11] Speaker 2: the week and he cried after it. So he come
[47:14] Speaker 2: in the next day and tried to go guess what
[47:15] Speaker 2: happened to Cooper on the weekend. Everyone was like, but
[47:18] Speaker 2: he didn't. Not as bad as your weekend there? What
[47:19] Speaker 2: I mean? Everyone knows he cried after he had sex.
[47:23] Speaker 2: So then when the boys his friend, oh, well, he
[47:26] Speaker 2: was going to do it to me then told me
[47:28] Speaker 2: the courtesy of four arms at schoolies and everything every
[47:33] Speaker 2: like even his name now group chat his cries after sex.
[47:36] Speaker 2: And we're twenty six now, it's a long time went
[47:38] Speaker 2: to school. There's a photo him in schoolies and the
[47:40] Speaker 2: boys when he fell asleep, they wrote on permanent texture
[47:43] Speaker 2: on his skin, cries after sex, and it was on
[47:46] Speaker 2: his skin for like three days and he couldn't wash
[47:49] Speaker 2: it off.
[47:49] Speaker 1: Does anyone do you know anyone that seriously cries after sexy?
[47:55] Speaker 1: Did you ever have Trusha Season one who cried afterwards?
[47:58] Speaker 1: Apart from me because bad?
[48:03] Speaker 2: Well, you probably cried because you knew that you let's
[48:07] Speaker 2: just stop.
[48:07] Speaker 3: Okay.
[48:08] Speaker 5: The US and there are goat yoga studios where you
[48:14] Speaker 5: do yoga with goats to add.
[48:17] Speaker 4: Fun and stress relief.
[48:18] Speaker 1: Apparently the gats penis how long it is?
[48:20] Speaker 4: Is it as long as the horses?
[48:24] Speaker 2: Yes, I've never seen it, s Guinea, I've never seen it.
[48:27] Speaker 1: What had I got to do with yoga?
[48:28] Speaker 2: I've never seen it, but it did feel long.
[48:32] Speaker 4: You're a bad Luxury dog hotels where we've seen more
[48:35] Speaker 4: of those.
[48:35] Speaker 5: They're global five star hospitality for pets, professional queuing services.
[48:42] Speaker 4: In the UK and Japan.
[48:43] Speaker 5: So it paid q standing for Hydeman drops of things
[48:47] Speaker 5: like whether it's in your apple whatever or whatever whatever.
[48:50] Speaker 1: Concert tickets and sporting tickets, people do that.
[48:53] Speaker 2: They reckon up people are doing at the moment. Are
[48:56] Speaker 2: puppy yoga in Sydney puppy yoga put the yoga on thing.
[49:00] Speaker 2: Then there's little puppies running around like with them.
[49:02] Speaker 5: So it's a bit like the go so fun and stressful,
[49:04] Speaker 5: it's dangerous, yeah, the little puppies. And the last one
[49:07] Speaker 5: I've got here is fake wedding guest agencies in China,
[49:12] Speaker 5: so they hire guests to boost event appearances.
[49:15] Speaker 2: Who wants more people that you're wedding your spaces And
[49:18] Speaker 2: there's an old movie where the guy has no friends
[49:21] Speaker 2: so he has to higher groomsmen. Oh yeah, wedding ring.
[49:25] Speaker 4: Is do you know when we're in India? I was
[49:29] Speaker 4: over there. I think I was one of the only brunettes.
[49:32] Speaker 5: Actually all the other girls were blonde and well because
[49:37] Speaker 5: obviously the blondes stand out, and about three or four
[49:40] Speaker 5: of them were over six foot and so everywhere we went,
[49:44] Speaker 5: people would come up and ask for photos like women,
[49:46] Speaker 5: groups of women, groups of men, men, women, families, all
[49:49] Speaker 5: these people. In the end our guide had to say
[49:51] Speaker 5: look stop because we were on a time frame.
[49:55] Speaker 4: And then our Indian guide was.
[49:58] Speaker 5: Saying one of the reasons they do that because they're
[50:01] Speaker 5: away on holidays at these places. So when they go
[50:03] Speaker 5: back to their villages or towns or wherever they're from
[50:06] Speaker 5: in India, they'll say, oh, look these are our friends
[50:09] Speaker 5: we met over there.
[50:11] Speaker 2: Yeah, they're friends. So like that's Fletcher's wife, right, was.
[50:16] Speaker 4: One of the Amy Vanessa? Yeah, Flora. They're all really tall,
[50:22] Speaker 4: stunning blonde girls.
[50:23] Speaker 1: I used to get photos when I was young of
[50:25] Speaker 1: like like four brunettes, and I'd say that I was
[50:28] Speaker 1: friends with four non blondes.
[50:32] Speaker 4: Oh, someone say, what's going on?
[50:39] Speaker 1: Can I finish with my Almost every opinion counts tipsy,
[50:44] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I.
[50:45] Speaker 4: Need the games because I don't know who's playing who.
[50:49] Speaker 1: Now this one is in relation to what is going
[50:53] Speaker 1: to happen tonight Alex Johnson. Of course tonight, if he
[50:57] Speaker 1: scores two tries, he breaks ken Irvines two hundred and
[51:00] Speaker 1: twelve try records, the most tries ever in the Australian
[51:03] Speaker 1: Rugby League and amazing, What an amazing occasion for a
[51:07] Speaker 1: j fantastic. But there's a lot of debate going when
[51:11] Speaker 1: the AFL, when Buddy Franklin broke a record and before
[51:14] Speaker 1: that Tony Lockett, the AFL let people swarm the ground
[51:17] Speaker 1: or the sug let them swarm the ground. At the
[51:19] Speaker 1: moment of the NRL and the Sug Trust are saying no,
[51:22] Speaker 1: no one is still allowed to swarm the ground. What
[51:27] Speaker 1: do you think about that? Should they be allowed to?
[51:30] Speaker 1: Here's the question.
[51:31] Speaker 2: It's a great question. I mean usually after seeing the
[51:35] Speaker 2: buddy franklmin I said yes, I said yes. But now
[51:38] Speaker 2: we're hearing the murmurs through the week giving it Souths
[51:41] Speaker 2: and Roosters. That's change it because they're both very historically violent.
[51:46] Speaker 4: Well, why don't you just say the sound supporters, how do.
[51:49] Speaker 2: You stop them? Well, how do you go stop Jersey?
[51:52] Speaker 3: If it's going to happen, they're just going to rush
[51:54] Speaker 3: and that's not going to be a huge d really. See.
[51:56] Speaker 5: I think Rooster's supporters are a little bit more arrogant.
[51:59] Speaker 5: I don't think they'll be that.
[52:00] Speaker 4: Excited about it. They'll sit in their seats and got
[52:03] Speaker 4: brush over this.
[52:04] Speaker 2: No, but trust me, anyone that gets a chance to
[52:07] Speaker 2: be a part of that moment and get out in
[52:08] Speaker 2: the field, they'll want to. And if the if the
[52:10] Speaker 2: game's not going the way they're wanting to, and they'll
[52:12] Speaker 2: bit frustrated with ref decisions. I'd be worried about the
[52:15] Speaker 2: ref safety.
[52:16] Speaker 4: Why don't you leave it for the end of the.
[52:17] Speaker 1: Game and fans on fans, that's the thing about it,
[52:20] Speaker 1: here's a question. I don't think that each of us
[52:23] Speaker 1: if it was your like, I would love to see it.
[52:25] Speaker 1: I love it. I would love to see it happen.
[52:27] Speaker 1: But if I was the one that had to make
[52:28] Speaker 1: the decision, if my job was riding on it, would
[52:31] Speaker 1: you let it happen? Trush, would you give now?
[52:33] Speaker 5: I'd let them go at the end of the field.
[52:35] Speaker 5: I think it's too big a disruption of the game
[52:37] Speaker 5: end of the game. I think it's too big a
[52:39] Speaker 5: disruption during the game and unfair on the your posting team.
[52:42] Speaker 3: That's my theory on way why Wayne doesn't want it,
[52:45] Speaker 3: Like it's a great spectacle and obviously the players are like,
[52:47] Speaker 3: that'd be awesome to happen. But for Wayne, I think
[52:49] Speaker 3: he's done the math on it, thinking logically, is that destructive?
[52:54] Speaker 3: If they've scored two tries, then there's a very high
[52:57] Speaker 3: chance that they're ahead in the game, and he's thinking, well,
[53:01] Speaker 3: I don't want the game to then the momentum to stop,
[53:03] Speaker 3: you know, like in tennis. You know, like in tennis,
[53:05] Speaker 3: how they do the old tactic is you go to
[53:07] Speaker 3: the toilet and you sit there and wait for the
[53:09] Speaker 3: opposition to cool down now and then you're in your
[53:11] Speaker 3: own head. That might happen if South City get a
[53:14] Speaker 3: quick lead and then something happens there.
[53:16] Speaker 1: You know, gatesmanship like that.
[53:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, it'd be cool if like they let everyone on
[53:20] Speaker 2: the like surrounding almost the border of the field for
[53:24] Speaker 2: the like if it was like the last ten minutes
[53:26] Speaker 2: and they're just sitting kind of on the field, just
[53:28] Speaker 2: like get in a j because if I was the player,
[53:30] Speaker 2: I'd love it. Like he could tell was on your show,
[53:34] Speaker 2: and it could tell like it'd be a special moment
[53:37] Speaker 2: for you. Seeing the scenes that when Buddy Franklin kicked
[53:39] Speaker 2: his one hundredth goal or whatever it was that was
[53:41] Speaker 2: a thousands goal maybe it was, it was like, that's crazy,
[53:45] Speaker 2: that's that's a memory that is just going to be
[53:48] Speaker 2: embroidered his memory and the game of AFL forever.
[53:51] Speaker 1: And when you're a kid, When I was a young boy,
[53:53] Speaker 1: go up in the seventies, in the early eighties, we
[53:55] Speaker 1: used to do that. You used felt it like it's
[53:58] Speaker 1: cno of course, in the bush football, you would wait
[54:00] Speaker 1: full time, you run on, pat your heroes in the back.
[54:02] Speaker 1: Maybe we grabbed the corner flag. But also when I
[54:04] Speaker 1: was a young people went down to like Haard Oval
[54:06] Speaker 1: and they were planning it's the first game I'd ever
[54:08] Speaker 1: been to in Sydney and then they're playing the Roosters.
[54:11] Speaker 1: In a full time you could run on the field.
[54:12] Speaker 1: I remember like grabbing Gary Jack, like patting him on
[54:14] Speaker 1: the back, just going and block it and going mate,
[54:17] Speaker 1: this is surreal. I'm actually patting my heroes on the back.
[54:19] Speaker 1: That's pretty cool. It's a shame you can't have that now.
[54:21] Speaker 2: Yeah it is. I suppose it's a safety thing now,
[54:23] Speaker 2: but it's like realistically, I think rugby league and there's
[54:27] Speaker 2: there's a few imbeciles that ruin it for everyone. I
[54:30] Speaker 2: think like there's a few one off instances that ruin
[54:32] Speaker 2: it a safety thing for everyone. But ninety nine percent
[54:35] Speaker 2: of rugby league supporters they're good. They just want to
[54:38] Speaker 2: get in and they just want to be They just
[54:39] Speaker 2: want to have a chat and like have a picture
[54:41] Speaker 2: and be made to it.
[54:42] Speaker 1: A real supporter wouldn't go on there to actually try
[54:46] Speaker 1: to cause drama, hit another fan hit a player, and
[54:48] Speaker 1: would a fan I don't think. I don't think. I
[54:51] Speaker 1: wouldn't think that would happen. And I certainly would not
[54:53] Speaker 1: think that another fan would allow another fan to do
[54:55] Speaker 1: that to a player of But but but I do
[54:59] Speaker 1: understand it, I mean situation.
[55:00] Speaker 4: Okay, So what's your verdict?
[55:01] Speaker 1: Then?
[55:01] Speaker 4: What do you think?
[55:02] Speaker 2: Should they tally wrapping him up?
[55:04] Speaker 1: I would. I just think it's a great shame that
[55:06] Speaker 1: it can't happen. But if I was making the decision,
[55:09] Speaker 1: I'd say no because I would be holding him a breath.
[55:11] Speaker 1: And you've got to understand a week before, you've got
[55:13] Speaker 1: to think of the families as well, like the families
[55:15] Speaker 1: before the Roosters families and the players had to put
[55:20] Speaker 1: up with some imbeciles giving them death threats because they
[55:25] Speaker 1: made that they made the unholy error of losing a
[55:28] Speaker 1: football game. So people were jumping on giving the players.
[55:31] Speaker 4: Death Sorry their own fans.
[55:33] Speaker 1: Well, look they're not They wouldn't be fans people. I mean,
[55:36] Speaker 1: look these people, they're not fans. These people aren't fans
[55:39] Speaker 1: of anything. What they do they basically try to get
[55:42] Speaker 1: solace in their miserable lives by trialing people who are
[55:45] Speaker 1: better than them. That's what It's a twenty four hour job.
[55:48] Speaker 1: They have a little break, they have a long hard
[55:49] Speaker 1: day on the PlayStation and the finish off by people.
[55:52] Speaker 2: Nothing wrong with PlayStation, but.
[55:54] Speaker 1: That's that is that is the shame.
[55:57] Speaker 2: Yeah, foot tips, I got our games. Lets go, you're ready.
[56:01] Speaker 4: I'll track them down.
[56:02] Speaker 3: Are you writing them down? What's wrong? Baby?
[56:05] Speaker 2: You're talking to me on my baby?
[56:07] Speaker 4: What's the game?
[56:08] Speaker 2: Thursday night? Broncos Eels.
[56:12] Speaker 4: Sorry, I'll go Bronx.
[56:14] Speaker 1: I'll go Broncos.
[56:15] Speaker 3: I'm gonna go Eels.
[56:16] Speaker 2: Oh, Scoop, I'm going Bronx. Okay, next game, Warriors Raiders.
[56:22] Speaker 4: I'm going Warriors.
[56:24] Speaker 1: I'll go Wise.
[56:25] Speaker 3: I'll go the Raiders.
[56:26] Speaker 2: I'm going Wise. It's over there, love Strong. Last week
[56:31] Speaker 2: Roosters Rabbits.
[56:32] Speaker 4: I'm going Rabbits.
[56:34] Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll go Rabbits as well.
[56:35] Speaker 4: Are you just copying me?
[56:37] Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sure the expert on Rabbits as well.
[56:40] Speaker 2: Ship. I want to be different, so I'm going to
[56:43] Speaker 2: go be best. Okay, Roosters, you're great, mate, DC, you
[56:47] Speaker 2: speak to him this week. I haven't spaked you on
[56:49] Speaker 2: this week. Let them just get into with their work.
[56:52] Speaker 4: Tigers, Cowboys, I'm going to Cowboys.
[56:55] Speaker 1: I'll go Tigers.
[56:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going Tigers. They get three weeks to think
[56:57] Speaker 3: about it.
[56:58] Speaker 1: I reckon, Yeah, yeah, I think yeah. I think they're
[57:01] Speaker 1: gonna have a solid years.
[57:02] Speaker 4: What about you, c J.
[57:03] Speaker 2: I'm gonna go Cowboys, Dragon Storm.
[57:06] Speaker 1: Storm, Storm in a really hard hardfore game storm as well. Okay,
[57:12] Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on. Here it's my upset
[57:15] Speaker 1: of the round. I'm going to get dragons. Dragons. You're
[57:18] Speaker 1: going to dragons go to a preparation after the disappointing loss, mate,
[57:23] Speaker 1: Storm will be right up in their toes, violating paramount.
[57:27] Speaker 1: Here my upset.
[57:28] Speaker 2: I'm going Storm, and you're Storm to JJ yep. If
[57:30] Speaker 2: dragons win, I'll wear a muscle shirt on the potty
[57:32] Speaker 2: next week.
[57:33] Speaker 1: You need muscles to a muscle shirt.
[57:36] Speaker 2: I just wear an apron pens and Cronulla.
[57:40] Speaker 3: Panthers, Penris.
[57:43] Speaker 4: That's a tough one.
[57:45] Speaker 3: I mean they're in bathist.
[57:49] Speaker 1: I reckon after I think at this point of the year,
[57:53] Speaker 1: Cronulla out there to point prove a point. I'm going
[57:56] Speaker 1: to go on an upset of sorts. I'm gonna go Cranella.
[57:59] Speaker 4: You can just say, don't.
[58:04] Speaker 2: I Penroth and Manly Knights Sunday.
[58:09] Speaker 4: Go Manly.
[58:13] Speaker 3: It's a pretty desperate game for Manly to win. You
[58:15] Speaker 3: lose first two at home.
[58:16] Speaker 1: Jeez, I'll go Nights.
[58:18] Speaker 4: Okay.
[58:19] Speaker 1: I like what I saw in Fletcher Shower.
[58:21] Speaker 3: I actually think Manly might win this Coober.
[58:24] Speaker 2: Really, I'm going to go I'm going to go Manly.
[58:26] Speaker 2: I'm going to go Manly. I think no.
[58:28] Speaker 1: Fletcher Sharper sounds like a lot of the family where
[58:30] Speaker 1: they come from.
[58:31] Speaker 2: Dolphins, Titans. I just know who paid me, Dolphins, Titans.
[58:36] Speaker 4: I just show the same loyalty. I'm going Titans, Titans, Titans.
[58:42] Speaker 2: We have a choice.
