[0:51] Speaker 2: Two weeks later we buy an ownership stake in the
[0:55] Speaker 2: Gold Coast Titans. Isn't life peculiar like that? May we

[1:01] Speaker 3: I'm uh, you know, it's water under the bridge. I'm
[1:06] Speaker 3: happy to have your guys on board. Bit of hope.

[2:38] Speaker 3: Hey you, I'm currently a university student, and although I
[2:41] Speaker 3: lack the necessary qualifications, I thought I'd try my luck
[2:44] Speaker 3: at applying for any possible junior role within the club.
[2:47] Speaker 3: I have a vested interest in the Titans, and thus
[2:50] Speaker 3: it would be the ideal work environment for me in
[2:52] Speaker 3: any role.
[2:53] Speaker 4: And this is before GBT.
[2:55] Speaker 3: That was all off the.

[5:09] Speaker 1: I loved Kurk Giddley coming over to be reunited with somebody. Yeah, yeah,

[5:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, to be yeah, I suppose, but to be reunited
[5:20] Speaker 1: well a joke that has been going on since twenty

[5:30] Speaker 1: something special. It was a very pinch mean moment for me. Yeah,

[5:35] Speaker 2: And you know, sometimes how people's lives have changed from
[5:38] Speaker 2: when we interviewed them to what's happened. Jacob Preston's best
[5:41] Speaker 2: is a really good example of that. Jacob Preston, you know,
[5:44] Speaker 2: we interviewed him towards the start of the season. You
[5:46] Speaker 2: had to have great hopes the season coming up for
[5:48] Speaker 2: the Bulldogs, and we were discussing to the podcast, you know,
[5:51] Speaker 2: for him going forward being a representative player with state
[5:54] Speaker 2: of Origin, but of course he's leapfrog. State of Origin
[5:57] Speaker 2: got to start in the Ashes tour.
[5:59] Speaker 3: Can you I've had a part to play in that

[6:17] Speaker 1: still hasn't sold a commercial real estate all year. He
[6:20] Speaker 1: has had twelve, but he just goes you know where
[6:21] Speaker 1: you're going past? Yeah, I'm going into commercial real estate
[6:24] Speaker 1: really looking forward to selling some property. Eight months later,
[6:28] Speaker 1: still hasn't sold a thing, not one property.
[6:31] Speaker 4: He has. He just needed a bit of help.

[6:36] Speaker 2: of a pattern. We've been finishing with a few prank
[6:38] Speaker 2: phone calls. I sort of think that the Raisman should

[8:26] Speaker 4: the photo of Dad and Dad, Tom Eddie boys did
[8:29] Speaker 4: there They're four Pints event the other week in the
[8:32] Speaker 4: Grand Final weekend, very good episode and that one Cobber.
[8:35] Speaker 4: Now we're back catalog and included. That's nearly done over
[8:38] Speaker 4: two hundred thousand downloads between the YouTube and the audio.
[8:42] Speaker 2: So I love it when you talk fat. I love

[10:59] Speaker 1: like quite aggressive, particularly on the Family, like randomly if
[11:03] Speaker 1: shit starts going wrong, it's like he if he thinks
[11:06] Speaker 1: it's gonna be too hard an edit for him, he'll
[11:08] Speaker 1: lose his ship. And it's like, let's just like and
[11:10] Speaker 1: we sometimes have to talk him off a ledge so
[11:13] Speaker 1: just so we can finish the episode or this was
[11:16] Speaker 1: this was one of those episodes where Jack was testing
[11:19] Speaker 1: and we kept saying, Jack, I have another go and
[11:21] Speaker 1: have another guy. He was trying to tell his story mate.
[11:23] Speaker 1: I think he edited out one of the times he
[11:26] Speaker 1: was trying to do it as well, and on like
[11:27] Speaker 1: what was left was still him butchering at four times larious.
[11:31] Speaker 2: I must say the Gazz Gol episode where Gazz Yeah,
[11:35] Speaker 2: if you listen to it again, basically the last ten
[11:38] Speaker 2: minutes Gaz couch, going I'll get another one, and I'll
[11:41] Speaker 2: get another one, and I got another one, and all
[11:43] Speaker 2: Jack's mates were here having a beer for his birthday
[11:47] Speaker 2: or waiting to have a beer, waiting on him, and
[11:48] Speaker 2: Jack's like got his one foot out the door every time,

[11:54] Speaker 2: and I glanced over the shoulder of Jack, and Jack
[11:56] Speaker 2: could just be going, like going off.
[11:59] Speaker 1: Jack just left with it like Gas and Ya were like,

[12:05] Speaker 3: I think all the family pods in the last two months.
[12:08] Speaker 3: I don't know what sort of what's going on with
[12:10] Speaker 3: the dynamic and the family, but there's been some really
[12:12] Speaker 3: funny ones, you know, of the guys have been a
[12:14] Speaker 3: bit sometimes been There's been different people at different times,
[12:16] Speaker 3: been a little bit testier. As you said, Jack, you know,
[12:19] Speaker 3: but you've had times where you've been a bit short.
[12:21] Speaker 1: I think I haven't.

[12:24] Speaker 3: And then also you know, you have times where someone
[12:26] Speaker 3: blames Trish or Man, but they've been hilarious. I've been
[12:29] Speaker 3: loving him.
[12:29] Speaker 2: I love the nickol Heines episode where nicol Heines ras
[12:33] Speaker 2: Man lifted the lid on Cooper and and where Nico
[12:38] Speaker 2: basically Niko goes, oh, I have got a bit of a
[12:40] Speaker 2: story about Cooper. I bringing this up all the time.
[12:42] Speaker 2: I knew it was something because Cooper just went red
[12:44] Speaker 2: and turned the other way. Gus, I can't listen to this.
[12:46] Speaker 2: I can't listen. It was for people who didn't listen.
[12:49] Speaker 2: It was basically Cooper basically trying being jealous of Nico
[12:55] Speaker 2: when Niko was getting a start and he at the
[12:57] Speaker 2: time wasn't and he wouldn't talk to Niko when he
[12:59] Speaker 2: was saying smart ass remarks to Nick was going oh wow.

[13:06] Speaker 1: was competing for a spot with one of my mates,
[13:08] Speaker 1: like for we're playing union, Like I was the same.
[13:11] Speaker 1: I just it affected like I'd still be friends with them,
[13:14] Speaker 1: but there were times where like I'd be very aggressive,
[13:18] Speaker 1: not aggressive with them, but that sounds like bad very.
[13:22] Speaker 4: You get misty, don't you red Misty?
[13:26] Speaker 1: I used to. I used to have to get myself
[13:28] Speaker 1: read misty to then try to like to get the
[13:30] Speaker 1: best out to make myself trained harder and ship I'd
[13:32] Speaker 1: have to like be really aggressive and like I couldn't
[13:35] Speaker 1: almost be as friendly as i'd like with the competition otherwise,

[13:40] Speaker 2: Almost like amateur sportsman's version of Michael Jordan.
