[0:08] SPEAKER_01: Hey, bestie girl.
[0:10] SPEAKER_01: It's your host, Daniela, your BFF.
[0:12] SPEAKER_01: Welcome back to the Call Me Back Podcast.
[0:15] SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, I'm so excited to hang out with you today.
[0:19] SPEAKER_01: By the way, I've been getting so many messages since I released the last episode because I know I took a break for a minute due to work being so crazy.
[0:27] SPEAKER_01: And I'm not gonna lie, I'm like blown away by how much the pod just connects with you, Bestie.
[0:36] SPEAKER_01: It makes me so happy.
[0:38] SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna lie, I'm so tired today, and I'm like, I need to record an episode because this is like my way to connect with you, and I'm just so grateful for you, and I'm so happy that you're here.
[0:48] SPEAKER_01: And please know that I read every single message about when you guys are messaging me about the pod.
[0:56] SPEAKER_01: Sometimes I don't respond because I check it really late at night or early in the morning, and I'm tired, and I sometimes I'm not gonna lie, I just forget, but I am I'm always so moved and so touched.
[1:08] SPEAKER_01: Every single message that you send, I always show Jake.
[1:10] SPEAKER_01: I'm always like, I roll over in bed late at night.
[1:12] SPEAKER_01: I'm like, babe, look, look at what one of the best you sent.
[1:16] SPEAKER_01: And your encouragement to keep going and just knowing how much the pod has touched your heart makes makes my life so sweet, and I'm just so grateful for you.
[1:29] SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm so tired today, but bestie, we're gonna make this such a good one because I have some stories for you that you're going to freaking love.
[1:43] SPEAKER_01: Not only do I have an update on we're gonna call him Mr.
[1:48] SPEAKER_01: Fit, who flew our girly out to Korea, and we're calling him Mr.
[1:52] SPEAKER_01: Fit because that's what our girly called him in in the DM in the storytime roulette.
[1:58] SPEAKER_01: So, for context, let me just give a little context about that, but then also like what we're gonna get into this episode so that you can be looking forward to it.
[2:05] SPEAKER_01: So on last episode, we played Storytime Roulette, which is where we just go into the DMs, we open a story that we've never read before, and then I read it to you in real time.
[2:15] SPEAKER_01: Well, what happened was this story not only happened to be tea, but our girly was online and was giving us updates live in real time.
[2:22] SPEAKER_01: Honestly, if you didn't listen to last week's episode, you should go listen to it because it's so fun.
[2:27] SPEAKER_01: But also, don't worry, I'll catch you up on this on this week too, in case you didn't.
[2:31] SPEAKER_01: Okay, so not only do we have an update on that, um, and I'm gonna read it to you here in real time, but also I have this epic love story I'm gonna share with you.
[2:39] SPEAKER_01: It's a real life love story.
[2:41] SPEAKER_01: Um, I saw it when I was scrolling like a week ago, and um, this gal, gonna give her full credit, it's her love story.
[2:49] SPEAKER_01: Her name on Instagram and TikTok is Injector Bestie.
[2:52] SPEAKER_01: She's so cute, she's so beautiful, and she shared her love story.
[2:57] SPEAKER_01: And I watched it and I was like, oh my gosh, this is for the girlies.
[3:02] SPEAKER_01: They're going to love it.
[3:03] SPEAKER_01: And so I wanted to share it with you.
[3:05] SPEAKER_01: You're gonna freak out.
[3:06] SPEAKER_01: It's like a real life fairy tale.
[3:07] SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna read her story, you're gonna trip, I'm gonna do obviously like part one and part two, read her full story.
[3:13] SPEAKER_01: It's just gonna like take you to another dimension and it's gonna give you hope.
[3:16] SPEAKER_01: And I think sometimes, like in this world of dating apps and like honestly, the the world being oversaturated oversaturated with double DMers and red flag chads, it can be so good when we are reminded of these beautiful love stories that that do happen and that are real and that do exist.
[3:36] SPEAKER_01: And it's also our sign to not settle.
[3:38] SPEAKER_01: I heard somebody say one time, like, right before like your Prince Charming comes into your life, like your number one, like your choice A, choice B always comes into your life.
[3:49] SPEAKER_01: And I was thinking about that, how that was true in my life.
[3:52] SPEAKER_01: Like, if you're discouraged right now, girly, that you feel like you've been dating a bunch of frogs or what, you know, double DMers, red flag Chads, guys that aren't loyal, honestly, don't worry because your Prince Travman, your dream man exists.
[4:06] SPEAKER_01: He is out there.
[4:07] SPEAKER_01: God does have somebody for you.
[4:09] SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's just a matter of us like being patient and waiting, and like as as cheesy as it might sound, like letting God write our love story and do his thing.
[4:19] SPEAKER_01: Because if you think about it, like I don't know about you, I want I want God writing my love story.
[4:26] SPEAKER_01: I do not want myself like when I was trying to write my own love story, girl, it was a hot mess.
[4:31] SPEAKER_01: Good thing, you know, I I I did, I would say, I do say it made it made for some really good um story times though, right, Bessie?
[4:39] SPEAKER_01: Still, like the most iconic slash viral story, besides like how Jake and I met, um, was is that one about my ex, remember?
[4:50] SPEAKER_01: He freaking group texted me.
[4:52] SPEAKER_01: Good morning, beautiful, one morning.
[4:54] SPEAKER_01: Group texted.
[4:56] SPEAKER_01: There's another number in the chat.
[4:58] SPEAKER_01: That's how I found out he had a whole other girlfriend.
[5:01] SPEAKER_01: And I've been dating this man for about two years.
[5:02] SPEAKER_01: Is that not the most insane thing you've ever heard?
[5:06] SPEAKER_01: Okay, um, ooh, I need to make a note actually as I'm writing this down.
[5:13] SPEAKER_01: Okay, because I so I'm so excited for this episode because I feel like it's gonna be so good.
[5:19] SPEAKER_01: You're just gonna love it.
[5:20] SPEAKER_01: So, not only are we gonna do the Mr.
[5:23] SPEAKER_01: Fit update, I'm gonna read you that love story.
[5:25] SPEAKER_01: I also want to bring back confessions because I did something really embarrassing yesterday and Jake that has to do with Jake, and I'm like, I am gonna put myself on full blast and be hunt unhinged and share this confession.
[5:39] SPEAKER_01: Um, also like side note how embarrassing because who do I why why do I think I should confess like this?
[5:46] SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm gonna share this confession, it's so embarrassing, but the reason I want to share it is because I feel like a lot of times, like as women or as girlies, we feel like I don't know.
[5:57] SPEAKER_01: Like sometimes like other girls have it all together and like they're perfect and they're perfect in front of their men and they have nothing to be embarrassed about.
[6:04] SPEAKER_01: And when I did this, I was like, oh my gosh, this is so embarrassing and disgusting.
[6:09] SPEAKER_01: Like, I gotta tell the girlies because maybe it'll make them feel a little bit better.
[6:14] SPEAKER_01: Because I feel like we all do stuff sometimes, especially like in front of our men, men or in front of our man, or like at some point we've dated a guy and done something so embarrassing, and sometimes we're like, we just need to know we're not the only ones.
[6:26] SPEAKER_01: Also, we're gonna do another giveaway this week.
[6:28] SPEAKER_01: For those of you that are new here, bestie.
[6:31] SPEAKER_01: Um, I do a giveaway every single week um with like hair or makeup products, skincare products.
[6:37] SPEAKER_01: Just stay tuned because what I'll do is like halfway through the episode, I'm gonna announce a code phrase, and then all you have to do is go take that code phrase, comment it on the my latest Instagram post on the Call Me Back podcast, and then you're entered.
[6:48] SPEAKER_01: It's so easy.
[6:49] SPEAKER_01: Okay, let's get into it, you guys.
[6:52] SPEAKER_01: I am so excited.
[6:53] SPEAKER_01: So, first of all, let's talk about um let's let me go ahead and pull this up.
[7:00] SPEAKER_01: So brace yourself because this is insane.
[7:05] SPEAKER_01: And let me, I'm gonna do, I'm gonna backtrack a little bit.
[7:07] SPEAKER_01: So last week on Storytime Roulette, we opened this message from a girly, okay?
[7:11] SPEAKER_01: And we did not know what the story was gonna be, and that's why we love Storytime Roulette.
[7:15] SPEAKER_01: So she messages us and she says, Hey girly, I have some insane tea that I would love for you to share.
[7:21] SPEAKER_01: So basically, I was in a group chat with my friends and we were all chatting like normal about how I was the only girl in our group that was single.
[7:28] SPEAKER_01: And then my friends decided to make me an account on a an account on a dating app.
[7:32] SPEAKER_01: After seeing a couple guys I didn't really like, I did find this one guy.
[7:36] SPEAKER_01: Let's call him Mr.
[7:37] SPEAKER_01: Fit.
[7:37] SPEAKER_01: He fit all of my expectations.
[7:39] SPEAKER_01: He was tall, he had really big muscles.
[7:41] SPEAKER_01: So basically, I messaged him and I said, Hey, and he texted me back right away and he said, Hey, what are you doing?
[7:47] SPEAKER_01: And I said, Nothing much.
[7:49] SPEAKER_01: After that, we started texting back and forth until one day he asked me on a date, and of course he said yes.
[7:55] SPEAKER_01: When I arrived, he wasn't there, and then I waited for like 10 minutes, and when I was about to leave, he came in with roses.
[8:01] SPEAKER_01: We had an absolutely amazing date, and at the end, he leaned in and kissed me, and I instantly blushed so hard.
[8:07] SPEAKER_01: And when he stopped kissing me, he chuckled at my red cheeks.
[8:10] SPEAKER_01: After that, he drove me home and we continued to text the next day until one day he randomly stopped texting me for weeks.
[8:17] SPEAKER_01: After a while, I got worried, so I stalked him and I found out he was in Korea for a trip.
[8:23] SPEAKER_01: After and after a little bit more digging, I found out that his ex lived in Korea.
[8:28] SPEAKER_01: Let's call her Becky.
[8:29] SPEAKER_01: So I got very suspicious very quick.
[8:32] SPEAKER_01: I spammed his phone with text, and after a lot of spamming, he finally responded and said, I bought you a ticket to Korea for tomorrow, and I have a surprise for you.
[8:40] SPEAKER_01: Even though I didn't think of going, my friends insisted that I should go.
[8:44] SPEAKER_01: So now I'm in Korea with him and I still don't know what the surprise is.
[8:48] SPEAKER_01: I promise I'll tell you the tea as soon as soon as something happens.
[8:51] SPEAKER_01: So I read that on the pod.
[8:52] SPEAKER_01: I absolutely freaked out.
[8:53] SPEAKER_01: I sent a voice memo to her live on the pod, and I was like, girly, what is happening?
[8:58] SPEAKER_01: Like, you need to give us live updates.
[8:59] SPEAKER_01: So then she sent us a message back saying, OMG, I'm so glad that you got the story.
[9:04] SPEAKER_01: I do have an update.
[9:05] SPEAKER_01: I was waiting for you to respond.
[9:07] SPEAKER_01: So yesterday I got a text from him telling me to meet him at this cafe I've never been to before.
[9:14] SPEAKER_01: Um, oh, and I I was a little bit nervous to go.
[9:18] SPEAKER_01: Um, oh, okay, sorry.
[9:19] SPEAKER_01: There's a couple typos.
[9:21] SPEAKER_01: Um, but I had a gut feeling.
[9:22] SPEAKER_01: So I did go, and I'm so glad I did because at the bouquet, I or I'm sorry, I had the cafe, I walked in, he had a giant bouquet of roses and a box.
[9:30] SPEAKER_01: So she probably thought, thought, like, oh my gosh, this is finally surprised the surprise, right?
[9:35] SPEAKER_01: Well, when I got there, I literally froze when I saw him.
[9:37] SPEAKER_01: After he saw my face, he walked up to me and told me to sit down with him to chat.
[9:41] SPEAKER_01: And we ordered a couple drinks, and he told me that he did not meet up with his ex while he was there in Korea.
[9:47] SPEAKER_01: And at that moment, I knew I had messed up because I had already texted his ex, well messaged her, to meet up and talk as soon as so as soon as he said that, that he hadn't reached out to her, I panicked.
[9:58] SPEAKER_01: I wanted to be honest.
[9:59] SPEAKER_01: So I told him that I had reached out to her, and he said that he was totally fine if I wanted to go meet up with her and chat.
[10:07] SPEAKER_01: And he even said that he would come too.
[10:09] SPEAKER_01: So now all of us, so like now him and I are going to talk to his ex tomorrow.
[10:15] SPEAKER_01: So basically, she was saying they were all gonna meet up, and she's like, I know it's a lot to take in, I'll update you tomorrow.
[10:21] SPEAKER_01: So then I messaged her, I was like, girl, you've got to keep us posted.
[10:25] SPEAKER_01: So she's like, I will.
[10:26] SPEAKER_01: She's like, I cannot believe I'm living this.
[10:27] SPEAKER_01: I love your podcast.
[10:28] SPEAKER_01: She was so sweet.
[10:30] SPEAKER_01: So then she sends me this update, and this is where we have brand new intel.
[10:35] SPEAKER_01: So she says, so basically, when we arrived, she was stunned when we walked in.
[10:41] SPEAKER_01: Her face literally changed when she saw the both of us, meaning like herself and the guy.
[10:46] SPEAKER_01: She said, her face changed in a way that I can't explain.
[10:50] SPEAKER_01: We sat down to talk.
[10:51] SPEAKER_01: She seemed extremely nervous.
[10:53] SPEAKER_01: As we dove into talking, she started to explain how she thought that he had cheated on me because he cheated on her.
[11:02] SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
[11:03] SPEAKER_01: And as soon as I had her and as soon as she had said that, something inside me just snapped because I had already been cheated on my last relationship.
[11:11] SPEAKER_01: So I just thought to myself, I have to be done with him.
[11:14] SPEAKER_01: Like, I can't do this.
[11:16] SPEAKER_01: We just ended the conversation there.
[11:18] SPEAKER_01: And as soon as I left, I ended up buying my flight back, and I haven't talked to him ever since.
[11:23] SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I was like, whoa, wait, like, like back up.
[11:27] SPEAKER_01: Like I was like, girly, are you okay, first of all?
[11:29] SPEAKER_01: Like, how are you doing?
[11:30] SPEAKER_01: And she said, I was super sad when I got home.
[11:33] SPEAKER_01: She's like, but now I'm doing a little better, because this was a week ago.
[11:36] SPEAKER_01: So I said, girl, like what actually happened?
[11:38] SPEAKER_01: So she goes on to say that she just really felt like in her gut when she was talking to this girl, like the way that she was acting, the way that he was acting, she could just like tell like something wasn't right.
[11:49] SPEAKER_01: And she was confused.
[11:50] SPEAKER_01: Like he flew her out, like, but she said, like, in her gut, you you you know, as a girly pop, like sometimes things happen and we can't explain like the facts, but we just know in our soul that something isn't right.
[12:03] SPEAKER_01: And so that's basically what she was explaining.
[12:05] SPEAKER_01: So she said that he ended up getting really upset that that she just left him, right?
[12:10] SPEAKER_01: So she he flew her out here, uh, out there.
[12:13] SPEAKER_01: She ended up buying a ticket home the next day because she was like, I I I can't stay, basically.
[12:19] SPEAKER_01: Um, and he started like getting like upset, and he was messaging her and he um was calling her, and she said she literally got to the point where it was getting so intense with him that she threatened to call the police and block him if he didn't stop.
[12:37] SPEAKER_01: And so she basically just said, like, that's the update for now.
[12:41] SPEAKER_01: And so I was like, here's the thing was this the update that we were hoping for?
[12:45] SPEAKER_01: No, of course, like we wanted it to turn into like some sort of love story, right?
[12:50] SPEAKER_01: But I think that this is like so relatable because how many times have us girlies gone out on a total limb for a guy?
[12:57] SPEAKER_01: We've flown somewhere, we've gone on a date that we honestly didn't want to go to, or maybe even felt like uncomfortable in our gut to go on, or maybe a guy like talked us into something or pressured us into something, and we did it because we were holding out hope.
[13:12] SPEAKER_01: But at the end of the day, he wasn't who we thought that he wasn't who we thought he was.
[13:19] SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
[13:20] SPEAKER_01: And so I told her, I was like, girly, I'm gonna share this update.
[13:22] SPEAKER_01: I was like, don't be too discouraged, though.
[13:24] SPEAKER_01: I said, because the girlies, first of all, we're here to support each other, and second of all, like we can all relate to this.
[13:29] SPEAKER_01: We have all taken a relationship too far with a man and it it did not go the way that we wanted, and it ended up hurting us in some way.
[13:40] SPEAKER_01: And I'll I want to say a couple things.
[13:42] SPEAKER_01: First of all, if you've been here for a minute, you know that like even though I talk about God a lot and God's a big part of my life, like ever any girly from every walk of life, no matter what you believe, you're welcome here.
[13:54] SPEAKER_01: There is a spot for you here.
[13:56] SPEAKER_01: Um something that I that I like to think about, like that's personally given me a lot of hope in my life, is there's a verse in the Bible that says, like, God works all things together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose.
[14:10] SPEAKER_01: So something like that would get me through heartbreaker, even like looking back, like honestly, if it didn't get me through at the time, but like looking back on my life and I'm like, why did that happen?
[14:19] SPEAKER_01: Or why did I make that decision?
[14:21] SPEAKER_01: But just knowing like that God works all things together for our good, that like brings some sense of peace.
[14:27] SPEAKER_01: So I don't know, girly, where you're at in your life, what you believe.
[14:31] SPEAKER_01: Again, you're welcome here no matter what you believe, but if I can encourage you with a little piece of hope, like God can work all things together for your good.
[14:38] SPEAKER_01: Even the worst double DMers, even the worst red flag Chads, even the worst of situations, like you're so beautiful, you are a work of art, you're a creation, and you're constantly growing and you're constantly evolving and constantly blooming and turning into an incredible woman.
[14:55] SPEAKER_01: And as we grow, sometimes we go through these situations that are so hard, but it doesn't mean that we're worthless, or it doesn't mean that we're damaged.
[15:04] SPEAKER_01: It just means that we're learning, we're going through life, and that there can always be a purpose in our pain.
[15:10] SPEAKER_01: Um, but also I do want to say this I am so proud of our girly for being so decisive.
[15:18] SPEAKER_01: Like she went into a situation, she had a gut feeling of what was going on, and instead of giving him another chance or another round to defend himself, she was like, I'm out of here.
[15:29] SPEAKER_01: She bought her own ticket back and she got out.
[15:32] SPEAKER_01: And I just want to encourage the girlies.
[15:34] SPEAKER_01: If if there's, you know, if you're in a relationship today where you're like feeling like it might not be right or like something's a little bit off, Bessie girl, first of all, I've been there.
[15:46] SPEAKER_01: Oh, I have so been there.
[15:47] SPEAKER_01: And being in those relationships, you know what's funny is I feel like the mental energy that it takes to argue yourself back into the relationship and to constantly convince yourself that the relationship is right and and and okay, and that it's not that bad, that mental energy that you waste every day is almost worse than anything.
[16:09] SPEAKER_01: Like worse, it's almost worse than the relationship.
[16:12] SPEAKER_01: Like, I remember when I was dating my ex in LA and there was so many red flags from the get-go.
[16:17] SPEAKER_01: Like, first of all, first of all, and I can't believe I'm gonna like saying this out loud, I'm like, was that crazy?
[16:25] SPEAKER_01: When I first was like dating this man, he told me that he didn't have an Instagram and I believed him.
[16:31] SPEAKER_01: And then my roommate ended up finding his Instagram.
[16:34] SPEAKER_01: She was like, You have to see this.
[16:35] SPEAKER_01: And there was this other girl posted on his page.
[16:38] SPEAKER_01: I ended up like confronting him about it, and he was so convincing.
[16:42] SPEAKER_01: He was like, Oh, I really liked her, but I actually broke up with her when I met you because, like, you know, you're my person, whatever.
[16:49] SPEAKER_01: And looking back, first of all, I'm like, ooh, gross, disgusting.
[16:54] SPEAKER_01: Like, I can't believe I should have just shut it down, but I didn't.
[17:01] SPEAKER_01: And like looking back, my heart hurts, like, I mean, if I'm being honest, my heart hurt for that other girly in the moment, too.
[17:07] SPEAKER_01: And also, I will say this he told me that there was like zero dating overlap.
[17:12] SPEAKER_01: Cause I will n I refuse to be the other girl.
[17:15] SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm never ever like if he no, like he lied to me and he he made it sound like there was zero true like dating overlap.
[17:26] SPEAKER_01: Um, oh my gosh, girly, I just said to make that clear.
[17:29] SPEAKER_01: I would never ever want you to think that I would ever be the other girly.
[17:33] SPEAKER_01: That is against everything that I stand for.
[17:35] SPEAKER_01: Um, but so he lied.
[17:38] SPEAKER_01: Um, and it's funny because her and I ended up like meeting a while after.
[17:42] SPEAKER_01: That's another story.
[17:44] SPEAKER_01: But um, and she was so cool, by the way.
[17:47] SPEAKER_01: She was like such a cool girl and so talented.
[17:50] SPEAKER_01: She was a backup dancer for a one of the most iconic pop stars of our time.
[17:57] SPEAKER_01: Um anyway, she she's cool.
[18:01] SPEAKER_01: Um, but sorry, all this to say, where am I going with this?
[18:04] SPEAKER_01: Oh, like there was even there were so many times when I was dating this man that I questioned myself.
[18:10] SPEAKER_01: I questioned him, and I like I knew I shouldn't be in this relationship anymore.
[18:14] SPEAKER_01: And I think one of the biggest skills that we can develop is just like the moment that we know in our gut, because the truth is, even if we don't have the facts, we know when something isn't right.
[18:26] SPEAKER_01: Cutting it off is going to serve us so much more than staying in the relationship.
[18:31] SPEAKER_01: And girl, if you know something is right, you don't have to be worried about like, oh my gosh, I'm afraid that I'm never gonna find somebody else if I end this, or maybe I should accept this, or maybe I should be comfortable with this, even though you know you're not, or maybe this is just as good as it gets, and maybe I should stop complaining.
[18:49] SPEAKER_01: Bessie, you in your soul have this radar when it comes to dating and relationships and men that knows we like to call it the red flag radar.
[18:59] SPEAKER_01: You know in your soul, like sure, there's some other things in life, maybe when it comes to like, I don't know, our career, just other life things that like maybe we're wrong on sometimes.
[19:11] SPEAKER_01: I truly believe that our intuition when it comes to men is just like second to none.
[19:18] SPEAKER_01: And you need to trust yourself, Bessie, because you need to put yourself first when it comes to like the man that you want to pursue in your life, or like you know, that the man that you want to pursue you.
[19:30] SPEAKER_01: Because let me tell you something, Bessie.
[19:33] SPEAKER_01: The partner that you choose will affect your life more than any other thing, because uh it's like um whatever flows like everything in your life flows out of your heart.
[19:48] SPEAKER_01: Like the the the work that you end up doing, the career that you end up developing, where you end up living, even like how much money you make, or just your happiness and the joy that you have, the peace that you have, all of that will come out of your heart, bestie.
[20:05] SPEAKER_01: And when your heart and your soul is weighed down because of a relationship that you know isn't right, and being connected to a man that you know like isn't your isn't the best for you, Bestie, that will affect every avenue of your life.
[20:22] SPEAKER_01: So if you are with a man today that you know isn't your forever, Bestie, I want to give you the encouragement to break up with him to end it.
[20:35] SPEAKER_01: Um you've probably heard me say this before, but my mom always said, you cannot be with the right one while you're still with the wrong one.
[20:44] SPEAKER_01: And I I've mentioned that before, and then some girlies will say, like, oh, well, I believe that like I could be dating, you know, my boyfriend, and then, you know, if it's meant to be, someone else will come into my life and I'll know that that person, you know, is my person.
[20:58] SPEAKER_01: And like, I I just don't believe that that's how it works, bestie, especially because like I know my girlies, we're loyal girlies here.
[21:05] SPEAKER_01: If we're dating Josh, then if Travis walks into our life and Travis is the one, we are gonna like we're not gonna be having eyes for Travis, like our hearts not gonna be open for Travis because our our relationship bandwidth is taken up by Josh, right?
[21:24] SPEAKER_01: And like that's okay, like that's how it's supposed to be.
[21:27] SPEAKER_01: We're only supposed to have capacity in our hearts for the one relationship.
[21:31] SPEAKER_01: That's what being loyal is.
[21:33] SPEAKER_01: That's what like not being, you know, like that that's just who we are, right?
[21:38] SPEAKER_01: We have pure hearts.
[21:39] SPEAKER_01: I know my girlies, you you girlies are loyal and you and you want these beautiful relationships um based around commitment and loyalty and sincerity.
[21:49] SPEAKER_01: And I just want to encourage you, Bessie, that if you have a dream and a desire in your heart to like find your dream man and find that true like person that's Gonna take care of your heart and your soul and look out for you and have the best intentions in mind, then Bessie.
[22:09] SPEAKER_01: You should not ignore that feeling.
[22:14] SPEAKER_01: I I ended up meeting Jake, my husband, only like a few months after I broke up with my ex.
[22:22] SPEAKER_01: And like my ex is the one that we've been kind of talking about in this conversation.
[22:26] SPEAKER_01: We were on and off for like two, two and a half years.
[22:28] SPEAKER_01: And like, if I would have still been on with him, like I would have ignored Jake when he commented on my Instagram photo because that was just the girly that I was.
[22:42] SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna entertain other men while I'm in a relationship.
[22:45] SPEAKER_01: That's not who I am.
[22:47] SPEAKER_01: And so I just want to encourage you, Bestie, that like God has somebody for you that matches you, matches your heart, matches your integrity, matches the level of care that you want for your life.
[23:02] SPEAKER_01: So it's okay to break up with him.
[23:05] SPEAKER_01: It's okay.
[23:07] SPEAKER_01: Also, I feel like we just know as women, like when I was dating my ex, I had like this crazy acne on my face, these crazy breakouts.
[23:16] SPEAKER_01: What do you think happened when I broke up with him?
[23:19] SPEAKER_01: I stopped breaking out.
[23:20] SPEAKER_01: I had to break up in order to stop breaking out.
[23:22] SPEAKER_01: Crazy, right?
[23:23] SPEAKER_01: Okay, anyway, I know that we're doing I we're this was about story time or that.
[23:26] SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness.
[23:27] SPEAKER_01: So I just want to give a shout out to our girly.
[23:29] SPEAKER_01: I want to say I love you so much.
[23:31] SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for sharing your story with us.
[23:33] SPEAKER_01: And collectively, as the bestie pops, we are so um proud of you for knowing your worth, trusting your gut, and getting out of that situation.
[23:42] SPEAKER_01: I have no doubt someone amazing is coming for you, Besti.
[23:46] SPEAKER_01: And thank you for sharing your story.
[23:49] SPEAKER_01: Okay, let me take a sip.
[23:51] SPEAKER_01: Mmm.
[23:52] SPEAKER_01: Of coffee.
[23:53] SPEAKER_01: Hmm.
[23:55] SPEAKER_01: Okay, I want to see.
[23:56] SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, we've been talking for 27 minutes already.
[23:59] SPEAKER_01: Who are we?
[24:00] SPEAKER_01: We're like long-distance besties on the phone.
[24:03] SPEAKER_01: Um, oh, Bestie, I love you so much.
[24:06] SPEAKER_01: Wait, can I actually share something with you?
[24:09] SPEAKER_01: Um, for the girlies out there that are like going through a bit of a challenging time and seem to just like really be on like the struggle bus.
[24:18] SPEAKER_01: Um, and maybe like you're going through the thick of it and you feel like you keep praying for your situation to change, but it's the same situation, and you're starting to realize like, wait, maybe the only way out of this situation is literally going through it.
[24:32] SPEAKER_01: First of all, I didn't even know what that phrase like meant, or I thought honestly it was stupid.
[24:36] SPEAKER_01: I was like, what a stupid hallmark card saying like it would make me a little bit like bitter and annoyed.
[24:42] SPEAKER_01: Like, wait, the only way out of this is through it.
[24:45] SPEAKER_01: And oh, girly pop, have I been learning the definition of that?
[24:48] SPEAKER_01: It's like I feel like it's been my life.
[24:51] SPEAKER_01: There's just been this situation that has been really challenging for several months now for all of my 2026, and I have been coming to terms with the fact that literally the only way, like this situation in my life, I feel like is meant to teach me a lesson, and there's no way out of it.
[25:10] SPEAKER_01: Like, sometimes you pray and like God takes situations away, and other times you pray and he's like, no, nope, like I'm gonna make you go through this so that you can learn something very important.
[25:20] SPEAKER_01: And so anyway, I just wanted to share this little exercise with from my therapist.
[25:24] SPEAKER_01: I started going to therapy, and she shared the most wonderful exercise, and I just thought of this, so I wanted to share it with you really quick.
[25:30] SPEAKER_01: If you're going through something that's stressing you out 24-7, that feels like the biggest challenge that you don't know how to how to get through, and maybe like at this point, you're just like, okay, I get it.
[25:40] SPEAKER_01: Like I'm in this circumstance, but like how do I still enjoy my life in the midst of this?
[25:45] SPEAKER_01: Bestie, let me tell you this little exercise.
[25:47] SPEAKER_01: So she told me she was like, she was like, okay, take a deep breath, sit in your room, wherever you're at, and do this with me, Bestie.
[25:54] SPEAKER_01: Um, don't close your eyes if you're driving, but like just close your eyes for a second, reset.
[25:58] SPEAKER_01: Okay, open your eyes and look around your space and think about everything that's like a mess, that's wrong in this space, that's stressing you out, that's making you feel burdened, maybe claustrophobic.
[26:16] SPEAKER_01: Your heart starts racing a little bit, right?
[26:18] SPEAKER_01: And now you're like probably feeling a little bit anxious, and you're like, oh my gosh.
[26:22] SPEAKER_01: Now I want you to pause, take another deep breath, reset, and I want you to look around the same space, the same space, and instead look for everything good around you.
[26:37] SPEAKER_01: Look for the little things that bring you joy.
[26:40] SPEAKER_01: Maybe there's like an iced coffee sitting next to you.
[26:43] SPEAKER_01: Maybe there's a lip gloss that you really like.
[26:47] SPEAKER_01: Maybe there is a crumpled-up hoodie or something in the corner that is super cozy and comfy.
[26:55] SPEAKER_01: Maybe there is something that reminds you of an accomplishment that you had.
[27:01] SPEAKER_01: Maybe there's like an air freshener or a bottle of perfume that smells really good, that reminds you of a really good time or a vacation.
[27:09] SPEAKER_01: Maybe it's um, I'll tell you what it was for me.
[27:15] SPEAKER_01: So when she had me look around the room, I saw my podcast mic and it reminded me of you, Bessie.
[27:21] SPEAKER_01: I saw this giant, giant makeup case that a brand um had sent me.
[27:28] SPEAKER_01: Shout out Kiko Milano, some incredible makeup from uh they did like a collab with Macy's, and they sent me this beautiful PR box, and it reminded me of when I was younger.
[27:38] SPEAKER_01: And I went to work with my dad one day, and um he happened, he was a cameraman, and he happened to be working at like this makeup factory.
[27:46] SPEAKER_01: And I remember like wanting to ask the owner if I could have like a box, a makeup box of makeup, and I was so nervous to ask, and she gave it to me, and I was so excited, and I went home and I just like was elated over it.
[27:59] SPEAKER_01: Like, and I just I just loved it, and like thinking how far I'm so grateful to have come so far that now brands are like sending me makeup, like that is just a dream come true for little Daniela.
[28:11] SPEAKER_01: Um, and so anyway, um I was looking around, like thinking of all these good things.
[28:17] SPEAKER_01: Like, first I was stressed out about so many things when I looked around the room, and then she says this, she says, orient to the good.
[28:24] SPEAKER_01: And so there's all these little things around me that like I was like, okay, like I'm grateful for that, I'm thankful for that.
[28:31] SPEAKER_01: Like I my makeup in my corner from all these brands is super organized, and it's because my niece was over a couple weekends ago and she organized it for me, and just like so, so many things, Bessie.
[28:42] SPEAKER_01: So I just want you to look around and I want you to take time soaking up the good and bringing your brain back to the good every time something negative tries to infiltrate that wonderful thought.
[28:57] SPEAKER_01: Because you are worthy of every good thing, and just because a thought comes into your brain doesn't mean it's true.
[29:05] SPEAKER_01: In fact, it's probably not true, according to statistics.
[29:09] SPEAKER_01: We have to work so hard to orient our brain to the good, because ever since we're little, our brains are keeping us safe.
[29:15] SPEAKER_01: It's alerting there, it's our brain alerts us of danger, and that comes through in all forms of everything when we become adults.
[29:24] SPEAKER_01: So I just want to encourage you, Bessie, if you're going through it right now, this next week, until we talk again, like orient to the good.
[29:32] SPEAKER_01: Think that just means like recalibrating to the good.
[29:35] SPEAKER_01: Every time you feel discouraged, or how am I ever gonna get through this?
[29:39] SPEAKER_01: Think about the times when you did get through it.
[29:41] SPEAKER_01: Look around your space and find things that make you happy.
[29:44] SPEAKER_01: And if you're a girly right now that's sitting around, you're like, wow, nothing in my space space makes me happy.
[29:49] SPEAKER_01: I'm giving you the permission right now to go to the store and spend$25 on a bouquet of flowers because you deserve it.
[29:56] SPEAKER_01: I'm giving you permission to go to the store and get something beautiful that reminds you of a beautiful time in your life, or maybe a past memory that was really good, or maybe a future memory that you want to create.
[30:10] SPEAKER_01: Bessie, you are destined for good things and you've gotta start believing that, okay?
[30:15] SPEAKER_01: It's true.
[30:17] SPEAKER_01: Um, and you also need to remember, my girl, that like whatever you're going through now, it's not gonna last forever.
[30:24] SPEAKER_01: Seasons change.
[30:25] SPEAKER_01: I always think about that, how like, oh, these problems I have right now that seem so big, they're not gonna matter in like three years.
[30:33] SPEAKER_01: Like, I I think of problems I had last year that felt so big, and I'm like, oh, I didn't, I don't even remember them.
[30:39] SPEAKER_01: Like, you know what I mean?
[30:41] SPEAKER_01: So anyway, okay, we're we're just chatting today, Bestie.
[30:45] SPEAKER_01: We're just chatting.
[30:45] SPEAKER_01: I'm going totally off my notes.
[30:48] SPEAKER_01: Speaking of love stories, I need to call Austin and get an update.
[30:51] SPEAKER_01: You know what?
[30:51] SPEAKER_01: I'm actually gonna do that as soon as we hop off this pod.
[30:55] SPEAKER_01: Because for those of you who haven't been following around following along, go to my Instagram, Bestie, Daniela, your BFF.
[31:02] SPEAKER_01: One of my, I call him my little brother because he's my little brother's best friend that I've known ever since he was super young.
[31:09] SPEAKER_01: And his name is Austin.
[31:11] SPEAKER_01: He's so sweet.
[31:12] SPEAKER_01: He's such a green flag guy, very good heart, very loyal man.
[31:15] SPEAKER_01: And he is looking for his wife.
[31:17] SPEAKER_01: And so I've been doing a little series on my Instagram trying to help him find a wife from one of the girlies.
[31:23] SPEAKER_01: Because hello, I need to find a sis-in-law for myself for him.
[31:27] SPEAKER_01: Um, so I'm gonna call him actually after and get an update.
[31:30] SPEAKER_01: That just reminded me.
[31:31] SPEAKER_01: Let me write this down.
[31:32] SPEAKER_01: Um, should we get into confessions?
[31:35] SPEAKER_01: Now I'm actually getting a little nervous and a little shy because this was so embarrassing the other day, Bessie.
[31:43] SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm gonna make you a deal.
[31:44] SPEAKER_01: I'm going to make you a deal.
[31:46] SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna share my confession with you today.
[31:48] SPEAKER_01: First of all, please do not tell anyone.
[31:49] SPEAKER_01: I'm so embarrassed.
[31:50] SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, it's so embarrassing.
[31:52] SPEAKER_01: And then second, um, I want you to share your confessions with me in the DMs on the Call Me Back podcast Instagram, which by the way, if you follow me, Danielle, your BFF, um, call me back podcast is linked in my like bio.
[32:10] SPEAKER_01: Um, but I want you to share your confessions, Basti, for the pod.
[32:14] SPEAKER_01: I'll keep you anonymous.
[32:16] SPEAKER_01: So just like send me a DM with a confession, like label it at the top confession, and I'll keep you anonymous.
[32:23] SPEAKER_01: Um, but I cannot be the only one sharing these because this is so embarrassing.
[32:27] SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I'm so embarrassed.
[32:28] SPEAKER_00: Should I whisper when I tell you this?
[32:30] SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna whisper it, okay, but in case Jake is like, in case Jake can hear me.
[32:34] SPEAKER_00: I'm so embarrassed.
[32:36] SPEAKER_00: Okay, so yesterday he like goes and uses my bathroom downstairs and he was like, Hey, you have some toilet paper, like literally sitting on top of the toilet seat.
[32:47] SPEAKER_00: So saying to myself, like, oh, it's probably just I don't know, like a little piece of toilet paper that I need to like take care of like Josh.
[32:55] SPEAKER_00: I freaking to take care of this.
[32:59] SPEAKER_00: I need a lot of paper.
[33:01] SPEAKER_00: Sorry, water toilet paper.
[33:03] SPEAKER_00: Like literally Oh my gosh.
[33:18] SPEAKER_00: Are you kidding me?
[33:22] SPEAKER_00: Number one, number two, how did I miss that?
[33:26] SPEAKER_00: Number three.
[33:27] SPEAKER_00: Like I wanna be so cute and the fact that you just oh my gosh.
[33:32] SPEAKER_00: I'm self-believing myself out right now.
[33:35] unknown: I cannot believe that happened.
[33:37] SPEAKER_01: Girl, if you have a confession that's gonna make me feel better, can you please send it to me?
[33:41] SPEAKER_01: Please, please, please.
[33:42] SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
[33:43] SPEAKER_01: Oh how embarrassing is that?
[33:45] SPEAKER_01: I can't believe that.
[33:46] SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness.
[33:47] SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness.
[33:49] SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness.
[33:50] SPEAKER_01: Okay, I need I'm I'm like recovering.
[33:53] SPEAKER_01: It can be rough out here for a swim.
[33:54] SPEAKER_01: And the other day it was my birthday, and he took me out to a beautiful dinner, and I'd really been wanting to wear this dress, and so I did, and it was so beautiful, Bestie.
[34:03] SPEAKER_01: I I I'm gonna post a photo on my Instagram because I feel like it can be really hard to like find a really beautiful dress that also fits well, whatever.
[34:11] SPEAKER_01: Well, I was on my period and I was super bloated, so it was kind of a mess, but oh my gosh, excuse me.
[34:17] SPEAKER_01: But I literally felt like my tampon about to start being at max capacity um toward the end of the day, and I was like, oh my gosh, it's gonna get through my, it's gonna bleed through, it's gonna get on my dress.
[34:29] SPEAKER_01: And then this restaurant that we're in, it was like New York style, where like the tables are stacked on top of each other.
[34:35] SPEAKER_01: So like I was like, I'm gonna get up and everybody's gonna see my dress.
[34:38] SPEAKER_01: I was stressing out and I'm like, oh, being a girly pop is just comes with challenges.
[34:44] SPEAKER_01: Oh, and then we have to like not be gross in front of our men.
[34:48] SPEAKER_01: Oh, at least that's how I just I feel.
[34:50] SPEAKER_01: I was like, I can't believe it.
[34:52] SPEAKER_01: Oh okay, anyway.
[34:55] SPEAKER_01: Now that I got that confession out of the way, do I should I edit that out?
[34:58] SPEAKER_01: Should I even keep that in?
[35:00] SPEAKER_01: Who am what am I doing right now?
[35:01] SPEAKER_01: Why am I putting myself on blast?
[35:03] SPEAKER_01: I don't have to do that.
[35:04] SPEAKER_01: Okay, let's do the giveaway.
[35:05] SPEAKER_01: Let's do the giveaway.
[35:07] SPEAKER_01: Ooh.
[35:09] SPEAKER_01: And I just came up with the code phrase, but also it's gonna be named that sec that name of that section, which is gonna be confession sessions.
[35:18] SPEAKER_01: Should I do that?
[35:18] SPEAKER_01: I just did I come up with that or did I take that from something else out of my brain?
[35:23] SPEAKER_01: The the confession sessions, maybe that could be it.
[35:27] SPEAKER_01: Anyway, um or I could say the code phrases toilet paper, maybe not.
[35:34] SPEAKER_01: Um, go comment.
[35:35] SPEAKER_01: Let me actually think about this for a second.
[35:38] SPEAKER_01: Um you know what?
[35:41] SPEAKER_01: Screw it.
[35:42] SPEAKER_01: Um, let me think about this.
[35:47] SPEAKER_01: Yeah, just call it confession sessions.
[35:50] SPEAKER_01: Go comment confession sessions on my latest Instagram post on the call me back podcast page.
[35:56] SPEAKER_01: No matter what the post is, just leave that phrase confession sessions.
[35:59] SPEAKER_01: And here's what the lucky winner will win this week.
[36:01] SPEAKER_01: Um, I have some lip glosses from one of my favorite makeup brands, Polite Society.
[36:07] SPEAKER_01: I will be giving that away, along with um some of my favorite press-on nails that are like salon quality press-on-nails from KISS.
[36:16] SPEAKER_01: They just did a new drop, so I'll send you some of those.
[36:18] SPEAKER_01: And then also, um, why don't we just make it like a a nail, a nail kind of giveaway, too, plus lip gloss.
[36:26] SPEAKER_01: I have um I got some of these nail polishes from this brand.
[36:31] SPEAKER_01: Um, oh my gosh, what's it called?
[36:35] SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, I'm blanking on the name.
[36:37] SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm totally blaking on the name, but it's these nail polishes that are not only super fast dry drying, but they're gel quality.
[36:43] SPEAKER_01: And so they're amazing because they look so good and so shiny, but they dry in like 60 seconds.
[36:49] SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's called nails ink.
[36:50] SPEAKER_01: So, anyway, I'll also throw those in there.
[36:53] SPEAKER_01: And I might also throw some of my favorite Korean beauty face masks.
[36:56] SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let's do that.
[36:58] SPEAKER_01: So um go call to enter to win, just comment confession sessions on my latest Instagram post and the call me back podcast.
[37:05] SPEAKER_01: Make sure you're following the call me back page.
[37:07] SPEAKER_01: And then um, if you're the winner, I'll message you and I'll probably announce it on the next pod too.
[37:12] SPEAKER_01: Okay, and then oh my gosh, this pod is getting long.
[37:16] SPEAKER_01: Oh shoot.
[37:18] SPEAKER_01: I just kicked the mic on accident.
[37:20] SPEAKER_01: I have my like leg up on the table.
[37:21] SPEAKER_01: Okay, let's do um, let's read that girly's story time because it was so good.
[37:30] SPEAKER_01: Okay, let me pull it up really quick.
[37:32] SPEAKER_01: I had to take notes.
[37:34] SPEAKER_01: So, this again, this is a girly's love story.
[37:37] SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna read it from her perspective.
[37:39] SPEAKER_01: This is full credit to Injector Bestie.
[37:42] SPEAKER_01: This is her love story.
[37:43] SPEAKER_01: Um, so anyway, let's just dive into it because it's so cute.
[37:46] SPEAKER_01: I feel like you're absolutely gonna love it.
[37:49] SPEAKER_01: And if this is like Lizzie Maguire, the Liz Maguire movie, turn into a love story.
[37:56] SPEAKER_01: Okay.
[37:58] SPEAKER_01: Let me grab a cup of coffee.
[37:59] SPEAKER_01: Uh sip of coffee first.
[38:04] SPEAKER_01: What are you drinking, Bessie?
[38:09] SPEAKER_01: I'm drinking iced espresso with heavy cream.
[38:13] SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
[38:15] SPEAKER_01: It's good.
[38:16] SPEAKER_01: Okay.
[38:17] SPEAKER_01: A few years ago, I was coming out of one of the hardest seasons of my life.
[38:21] SPEAKER_01: The day I officially closed that chapter, I left on a solo trip across Europe.
[38:25] SPEAKER_01: I wanted to heal, see the world, and figure out who I was again.
[38:29] SPEAKER_01: When I got to Rome, I visited the Trevi Fountain.
[38:32] SPEAKER_01: I'd been there before and only thrown one coin in, but a local told me you're actually supposed to throw in three.
[38:38] SPEAKER_01: One to return to Rome, one to meet the love of your life, and one to marry them.
[38:43] SPEAKER_01: So I tossed it, so I tossed in two more coins and I didn't think much of it.
[38:48] SPEAKER_01: The next day, multiple locals recommended the same place for a night out.
[38:52] SPEAKER_01: It was a club called Sanctuary.
[38:54] SPEAKER_01: I was exhausted and almost stayed in bed, but some friends I had met there literally dragged me out.
[39:00] SPEAKER_01: They're like, we have to go.
[39:02] SPEAKER_01: And after all, multiple locals had recommended this same place.
[39:06] SPEAKER_01: So we're kind of like, okay, let's do this.
[39:08] SPEAKER_01: If multiple people are recommending it, like I've just got to make it happen.
[39:12] SPEAKER_01: So while walking through the crowd inside this club, we're on the dance floor and there was like crazy lights everywhere.
[39:20] SPEAKER_01: And at one random moment, I looked up and this light, you know, like beaming lights that are in a club, hit this guy's eyes.
[39:28] SPEAKER_01: And they were like the bluest eyes I'd ever seen.
[39:30] SPEAKER_01: And they just stood out and they were just piercing.
[39:33] SPEAKER_01: We just locked eyes.
[39:34] SPEAKER_01: We smiled at each other, but that was it.
[39:36] SPEAKER_01: Well, later that night, I randomly struck up a conversation with a group of English guys.
[39:41] SPEAKER_01: And who happens to be friends with this group of English guys?
[39:44] SPEAKER_01: Well, Mr.
[39:45] SPEAKER_01: Blue Eyes.
[39:46] SPEAKER_01: He walks up.
[39:46] SPEAKER_01: We start talking.
[39:48] SPEAKER_01: We ended up talking until almost 3 a.m.
[39:51] SPEAKER_01: He was in Rome for his sister's wedding, and before he left, he asked the craziest question.
[39:59] SPEAKER_01: He asked with me if I he asked me if I would come with him to the wedding the next day.
[40:04] SPEAKER_01: I thought he was joking.
[40:06] SPEAKER_01: He wasn't.
[40:08] SPEAKER_01: Well, the next evening, I found myself at the most beautiful wedding overlooking Rome with you guessed it, Mr.
[40:15] SPEAKER_01: Blue Eyes.
[40:16] SPEAKER_01: I ended up meeting his entire family.
[40:18] SPEAKER_01: I literally had only known him for less than 24 hours.
[40:21] SPEAKER_01: We danced all night.
[40:22] SPEAKER_01: We had the best time, but the next morning I had to leave for the next stop on my trip.
[40:27] SPEAKER_01: Before I left, he asked me if I could see him again.
[40:29] SPEAKER_01: I said, Well, I'm going to Barcelona.
[40:31] SPEAKER_01: And he said, You know what?
[40:32] SPEAKER_01: I'll fly to Barcelona.
[40:34] SPEAKER_01: And he did.
[40:35] SPEAKER_01: We spent another incredible day together before I had to go to Portugal.
[40:41] SPEAKER_01: Then one of my friends ended up, okay, sorry, I'm reading this wrong.
[40:46] SPEAKER_01: So one of my friends was supposed to meet me in Portugal.
[40:49] SPEAKER_01: But when I got there, my friend ended up canceling, so I was suddenly alone once again.
[40:56] SPEAKER_01: I ended up telling him this, and he ended up responding with, I'll come to Portugal.
[41:00] SPEAKER_01: And he did that too.
[41:02] SPEAKER_01: If he wanted to, he would, and he did.
[41:05] SPEAKER_01: We spent the next several days exploring castles and beaches and little towns.
[41:11] SPEAKER_01: I literally fell in love.
[41:14] SPEAKER_01: We fell in love.
[41:15] SPEAKER_01: Eventually, of course, I had to fly home.
[41:18] SPEAKER_01: And I thought to myself, like, this is over.
[41:19] SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm going back to reality.
[41:21] SPEAKER_01: I can't do a long-distance relationship from London to the US.
[41:25] SPEAKER_01: Like he was from London and I have to go to work and pay my rent and like all the things, right?
[41:30] SPEAKER_01: And she thought to herself, like, this is it.
[41:33] SPEAKER_01: Well, it wasn't it because for the past year, we made it work across continents.
[41:38] SPEAKER_01: We FaceTimed every single day, traveled back and forth whenever we could, filed for a fiance visa, and now we're engaged.
[41:48] SPEAKER_01: The craziest part about wait, the craziest part is that about eight months before I ever met him, during one of the darkest moments of my life, I was listening to Tennessee Orange.
[42:00] SPEAKER_01: When the which I guess that's gotta be a song, right?
[42:03] SPEAKER_01: When the lyric, he has blue eyes, he opens the door, and he doesn't make you cry came on.
[42:08] SPEAKER_01: I felt this overwhelming feeling that everything I was about to leave behind would make room for something so much better.
[42:15] SPEAKER_01: It turns out it did.
[42:17] SPEAKER_01: If you're in a season where you're scared to walk away from something that's no longer meant for you, let this be your reminder.
[42:23] SPEAKER_01: Sometimes the most beautiful things in your life are waiting on the other side of the hardest decision you'll ever make.
[42:28] SPEAKER_01: Sometimes they even start with three coins and a foul line in a pair of impossibly blue eyes.
[42:33] SPEAKER_01: Bestie, and here was something actually crazy is that I actually did not know that that's how like the lesson at the end of like what she's talking about, leaving something behind.
[42:46] SPEAKER_01: Um, because I what I did is I took her story and then I took her story and I just got a transcript of it, and I was like, okay, I'm just gonna read it.
[42:57] SPEAKER_01: This is so crazy.
[42:59] SPEAKER_01: Um that because it because it goes with the theme of what we've been talking about on this episode, and maybe that's the whole reason why you're here, Bessie.
[43:09] SPEAKER_01: Maybe that's the reason you're listening to this episode today, is that maybe there's something you need to leave behind in order to make space for the really good thing that's gonna come into your life.
[43:19] SPEAKER_01: And that doesn't always mean relationships, that can mean job offers, that can mean work things, that can mean opportunities, that can mean that can literally apply to anything in your life, Bessie, when something isn't serving you anymore.
[43:37] SPEAKER_01: And you know what's crazy?
[43:38] SPEAKER_01: I'll share this.
[43:39] SPEAKER_01: I I can't share the details of this online because of the nature of it, but something that was really um hard for me this year.
[43:52] SPEAKER_01: I know this might sound crazy, but something that was really hard for me this year.
[43:57] SPEAKER_01: And I had been praying that God would like take it off my plate, and I felt like God was saying, like, no, you've just gotta push through and you can't give up because there's things you gotta learn here, and so I did.
[44:08] SPEAKER_01: I pushed through and I didn't give up.
[44:10] SPEAKER_01: There was one morning where I said a little prayer, and then I just felt in my soul, I know this might sound crazy, but I say I totally get it, but I felt in my soul this these words and it said this voice in my in my soul, like it wasn't audible, like I just felt this phrase in my soul say, I'm going to remove something from your plate today that no longer serves you.
[44:35] SPEAKER_01: And later that day, that thing was that thing that was really challenging for me was removed from my plate.
[44:43] SPEAKER_01: And I just, I just all that to share, Bessie, is that like God sees you, God sees what you're going through.
[44:50] SPEAKER_01: No prayer is too big or too dolulo.
[44:53] SPEAKER_01: You've got this, like you just need to keep going.
[44:56] SPEAKER_01: You just need to keep going.
[44:58] SPEAKER_01: And sometimes you don't understand why you have to keep going.
[45:02] SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's a lesson that you have to learn.
[45:03] SPEAKER_01: And don't get me wrong, there's some things in life that we do have to walk away from, like what we've been talking about, but also in your soul, you know, Bestie, that when you're on your way to pursuing your dream or your dream relationship, like you can't give up hope.
[45:20] SPEAKER_01: You can't give up hope.
[45:23] SPEAKER_01: You have to go after what you want with everything in you.
[45:27] SPEAKER_01: And even if that just means keeping the hope alive, there's been times in my life where I'm like I feel like I can't keep going, but the one thing I can do is keep going in my heart.
[45:40] SPEAKER_01: Like keep the hope alive.
[45:42] SPEAKER_01: Keep the hope alive.
[45:44] SPEAKER_01: Okay, Bestie, this pod is getting a little long, so I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna end this and record another app for you, Bessie.
[45:54] SPEAKER_01: Cause I don't want to keep you too long.
[45:55] SPEAKER_01: I know you have things to do.
[45:57] SPEAKER_01: Okay, Bestie.
[45:58] SPEAKER_01: Um, I love you so much.
[45:59] SPEAKER_01: Thank you for being here.
[46:00] SPEAKER_01: Let me um let me say um that I just thank you.
[46:07] SPEAKER_01: Thank you for being here.
[46:08] SPEAKER_01: I love you.
[46:08] SPEAKER_01: Please subscribe.
[46:10] SPEAKER_01: Um, download, leave a review.
[46:13] SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, please leave a review.
[46:16] SPEAKER_01: Um, that would mean the world to me.
[46:18] SPEAKER_01: I love you.
[46:19] SPEAKER_01: There is a purpose for your life, and I just want to say thank you for being here because the world is like literally such a bitter place because you are.
[46:26] SPEAKER_01: Okay.
[46:26] SPEAKER_01: Ah, see you on the next one, bestie.
[46:29] SPEAKER_01: Okay, call me back, love you.
[46:31] SPEAKER_01: Bye.
