[0:00] Speaker 1: What up a pterochondrey and guess what, You're having an
[0:03] Speaker 1: acid flashback. That's right, you're flashing back right now to
[0:06] Speaker 1: a favorite past episode of Bombing. This one's with my
[0:08] Speaker 1: friend Nikki Glazer, who's absolutely crushing.
[0:10] Speaker 2: It this year.
[0:11] Speaker 1: But you know what, a lot of people are saying,
[0:13] Speaker 1: she would have never hosted the Golden Globes if she.
[0:15] Speaker 2: Hadn't gone on my podcast first.
[0:17] Speaker 1: I'm taking all the credit, honey, she's even saying that.
[0:20] Speaker 2: Take a listen. The acid flashback starts.
[0:22] Speaker 3: Now, boy with aery codre.
[0:32] Speaker 2: Do you know the premise of this podcast is called Bombing?
[0:34] Speaker 4: Yeah, I do. I've thought about some bombs and I.
[0:37] Speaker 2: Just want to know what the worst bomb you've ever
[0:39] Speaker 2: had is.
[0:40] Speaker 4: I think I black out. Really bad things happened.
[0:41] Speaker 2: To me, but black it back in, girl, white it
[0:44] Speaker 2: in okay.
[0:44] Speaker 4: But the worst time I've fainted on stage was probably
[0:47] Speaker 4: the biggest I've ever bombed.
[0:49] Speaker 2: You fainted on stage live? That's my worst nightmare.
[0:53] Speaker 4: It was the first time I ever fainted. I didn't
[0:54] Speaker 4: even know it could be a thing that I would
[0:56] Speaker 4: ever happen to me, and it was. It was so.
[0:59] Speaker 2: Bad what happened. I was doing a gig.
[1:03] Speaker 4: It was two thousand and seven. It was right before
[1:06] Speaker 4: the Montreal Comedy Festival, right before that week, and I
[1:11] Speaker 4: had got New Faces, which is a thing that's like
[1:14] Speaker 4: welcome to the industry. It's Nicky Glazer and it's like
[1:17] Speaker 4: you're being presented. It's so much pressure going to Montreal
[1:20] Speaker 4: to get flown out there. It's like you're you really
[1:22] Speaker 4: feel like it's just like star search. Moment, you're one chance,
[1:24] Speaker 4: you're one shot.
[1:25] Speaker 2: They fly you out spirit air, middle seat, connecting plates.
[1:28] Speaker 4: Yeah, they give you no predamn it's and then you
[1:32] Speaker 4: do one five minutes set, so.
[1:33] Speaker 2: You had to pay for your own hotel.
[1:35] Speaker 4: I think you actually did at some point. You to
[1:38] Speaker 4: go and you do five minutes on a packed show
[1:42] Speaker 4: with fifteen other people and Tom Pop is hosted, and
[1:48] Speaker 4: you go out into a crowd of French people in
[1:50] Speaker 4: the industry and they're not great, and the room is
[1:53] Speaker 4: big and echoing, weird, and I was too young. The
[1:56] Speaker 4: thing is, you want to be old in your class
[1:58] Speaker 4: of new Faces.
[2:00] Speaker 2: What year do you go? I didn't even think about that.
[2:02] Speaker 4: You want to be the best, and whoever's the best
[2:03] Speaker 4: is usually the oldest. What you don't want to be
[2:05] Speaker 4: the old old man that is, like we have one novels,
[2:08] Speaker 4: like sixty year old man. But you want to be
[2:10] Speaker 4: the person who's been doing stand up the longest relatively.
[2:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't think about that. Maybe I went too early.
[2:15] Speaker 4: A lot of us did.
[2:16] Speaker 5: I did Aspen Comedy Festival. H okay, hbo Aspen Company
[2:21] Speaker 5: Festival in two thousand and six. I'd been doing comedy
[2:25] Speaker 5: for three years.
[2:26] Speaker 4: Oh wow, wait, so that you did?
[2:28] Speaker 2: Not?
[2:28] Speaker 4: That did not pop you.
[2:29] Speaker 5: I'm still working a temp job and waiting tables.
[2:35] Speaker 2: It helped, it did help. I got an agent out
[2:37] Speaker 2: of them.
[2:37] Speaker 4: Oh that's good.
[2:38] Speaker 5: Yeah, I got an agent out of it. It was
[2:40] Speaker 5: the first time I got like representation.
[2:42] Speaker 2: But I did. I wasn't making cuckoo books at all.
[2:44] Speaker 4: You didn't sign any deals?
[2:46] Speaker 2: Did not sign any deals? No, so wait, what did you?
[2:48] Speaker 2: How did you faint?
[2:49] Speaker 4: So weeks leading up to this, I was so nervous,
[2:52] Speaker 4: so I was having like a raging eating disorder. I
[2:53] Speaker 4: was like not eating all day, and then I was
[2:55] Speaker 4: like running after work, and I was temping out of jobs,
[2:57] Speaker 4: and I was falling asleep constantly because I was so malnourished,
[2:59] Speaker 4: and I was smoking so much weed, and just like
[3:02] Speaker 4: literally my diet was like weed and like a froyo
[3:05] Speaker 4: every day. And then sometimes I'd let myself eat a
[3:07] Speaker 4: full meal if I was getting it for free, because
[3:10] Speaker 4: I was doing a show where they give you a meal,
[3:13] Speaker 4: and that would be by my one, like I'm gonna
[3:14] Speaker 4: go bananas because it's free. So I was doing Hennesses,
[3:18] Speaker 4: which is a restaurant in Dana Point, which is like
[3:21] Speaker 4: in the OC, and I had drove there after work.
[3:24] Speaker 4: I also had run after work and smoked weed right
[3:26] Speaker 4: before I left. So I drive down there. I haven't
[3:28] Speaker 4: eaten all day. You're wild, wild, out of control, trying
[3:32] Speaker 4: to have so much control, thinking I'm killing it. Days
[3:36] Speaker 4: I did, but I hadn't drink. I wasn't planning on drinking.
[3:39] Speaker 2: Then.
[3:39] Speaker 4: I think when I was in control phases of like
[3:41] Speaker 4: I gotta lock it in. I'm doing Montreal, I would
[3:43] Speaker 4: like lessen the drinking, weed, smoke, more diet, like control,
[3:47] Speaker 4: control and so, and I think drinking was like that
[3:49] Speaker 4: will make me fat. So I was just like I
[3:51] Speaker 4: thought being skinny enough was gonna get me something there
[3:54] Speaker 4: or make me funnier. I don't know what the fuck.
[3:56] Speaker 4: So I got to the show and I was I
[4:00] Speaker 4: was like, I knew that I was feeling weak, and
[4:03] Speaker 4: I was like, I need to order. So I ordered
[4:04] Speaker 4: right away and they go, you can go up next,
[4:06] Speaker 4: and I was like, I really need to eat something,
[4:08] Speaker 4: and They're like, just go up next and then your food.
[4:10] Speaker 4: I'll be ready when you're done. I was like, okay,
[4:12] Speaker 4: So I go up and right when I'm up there,
[4:14] Speaker 4: I start to kind of feel like, oh God, but
[4:16] Speaker 4: I don't know the feeling, and I'm kind of having
[4:18] Speaker 4: cognitive issues for the first time I think ever, maybe
[4:21] Speaker 4: where like you can't think of what you're saying, and
[4:25] Speaker 4: you don't at first, you start panicking because you're like,
[4:27] Speaker 4: why am I not thinking what I'm saying? So then
[4:29] Speaker 4: you can't think of what you're saying because you're panicking
[4:30] Speaker 4: about you's not thinking so it and then the tunnel
[4:33] Speaker 4: vision started and that's when I was like, oh, oh,
[4:36] Speaker 4: systems are shutting down. And I just said to the
[4:37] Speaker 4: front row, I was like, I think I'm gonna faint,
[4:40] Speaker 4: and I go, is that is that awkward? And then
[4:43] Speaker 4: this woman just goes yeah, and I was like it
[4:46] Speaker 4: is and then I just boomed. And then I had
[4:49] Speaker 4: a dream that I was in the ocean and that
[4:50] Speaker 4: I was like washing up on the shore. But it
[4:53] Speaker 4: was like me like falling against this like fucking railing
[4:55] Speaker 4: that was behind me because there was nothing else. And
[4:57] Speaker 4: then it was the guys like coming up to catch
[4:59] Speaker 4: me because I was like just crumpled on stage. And
[5:02] Speaker 4: then I had a dream after the waves crashing, which
[5:04] Speaker 4: lasted a really long time. I had a dream that
[5:06] Speaker 4: I fainted on stage and I was like, that's embarrassing.
[5:09] Speaker 4: And then you know when you wake up from a
[5:10] Speaker 4: dream and you're like, thank God, that didn't happen, like
[5:13] Speaker 4: you're like yes, So I just I had that moment
[5:15] Speaker 4: of like, oh I got it in fade on stage,
[5:17] Speaker 4: and then I woke up and I'm like, oh, it's real,
[5:20] Speaker 4: And it was like the worst realization.
[5:22] Speaker 3: It was.
[5:22] Speaker 4: I've never had it where you think a nightmare is
[5:25] Speaker 4: a nightmareage and then it turns into real. It was
[5:28] Speaker 4: the first time, and I was it was so embarrassing.
[5:31] Speaker 4: The room was dead quiet. I think I woke up
[5:33] Speaker 4: from like the quiet, and I was like murmuring I
[5:37] Speaker 4: was diabetic into the microphone because I think and I'm
[5:40] Speaker 4: not I think I just wanted to generate some kind
[5:42] Speaker 4: of excuse that wasn't like my manner exic, you know,
[5:45] Speaker 4: like I just think that my brain was trying. So
[5:47] Speaker 4: they were all like, you're diabetic. I'm like what, No,
[5:49] Speaker 4: And then I ran into the bathroom because I was
[5:51] Speaker 4: so embarrassed, and I'm in the stall and I'm just like,
[5:54] Speaker 4: it's right off the stage and there's like hundreds of
[5:56] Speaker 4: people in this room. This is a big and they're
[5:57] Speaker 4: all eating dinner. They're all eating like they're shrink platters,
[6:01] Speaker 4: and it's dead silent on stage, and I'm in this
[6:03] Speaker 4: stoll and I'm by myself. No one's else is in there,
[6:05] Speaker 4: and I was just like, my life is over. Like
[6:07] Speaker 4: for some reason, I thought this would get out and
[6:08] Speaker 4: people would be like she's a liability, and it was
[6:10] Speaker 4: just felt it was wrapped up in my eating disorder
[6:13] Speaker 4: at the time too. Like fainting is like really like
[6:15] Speaker 4: I had been anarexic for so many years and never
[6:18] Speaker 4: fainted and kind of prided myself on it because that's
[6:19] Speaker 4: when people are like, you need help, you're fainting, and
[6:21] Speaker 4: I like never got to that level. So this is
[6:24] Speaker 4: the first time that I was like, oh god, my
[6:25] Speaker 4: disease is like ruining my life and making it so
[6:28] Speaker 4: I can't stand up like this is embarrassing, so I
[6:32] Speaker 4: would then I was in. Then I got surge of anger,
[6:34] Speaker 4: anger because I was so embarrassed, you know, like that
[6:36] Speaker 4: Dane Cook joke of like when you trip and you're
[6:38] Speaker 4: like what the fuck with like the side where you
[6:40] Speaker 4: get like mad at whatever's behind you, but you're really
[6:42] Speaker 4: just so embarrassed.
[6:43] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[6:44] Speaker 4: So then I just was like filled with anger because
[6:46] Speaker 4: I was just like, so fuck, it's too many feelings.
[6:49] Speaker 4: And I burst out the doors of the women's room
[6:51] Speaker 4: when I go fuck to this room of people that
[6:55] Speaker 4: are just like sitting there with it waiting for me
[6:58] Speaker 4: to come out.
[6:59] Speaker 2: Because the worry I didn't end.
[7:01] Speaker 4: And then I shot straight to the right and I
[7:03] Speaker 4: went into the kitchen to be like I ate my block.
[7:07] Speaker 4: Like I was just like crazy yelling I'm not this
[7:10] Speaker 4: type of person. But it was just an overwhelming I've
[7:13] Speaker 4: never felt so embarrassed. I've never had something happen to
[7:15] Speaker 4: me like that. I came to my senses inside I'm
[7:20] Speaker 4: like stuffing bread into my face in the kitchen and
[7:22] Speaker 4: then I'm like, oh my god, there's only one way
[7:24] Speaker 4: out of this kitchen, I gotta go back through. And
[7:27] Speaker 4: I was so already like calmed down to feel like
[7:30] Speaker 4: that was really embarrassing. How I like just that it happened,
[7:33] Speaker 4: but also how I responded like this is awful. And
[7:36] Speaker 4: so then I just sheepishly walked out of the room
[7:41] Speaker 4: and everyone like applauded, and I was like, oh my god,
[7:44] Speaker 4: and now I'm getting credit for like we're walking. This
[7:47] Speaker 4: was so embarrassing, and then I had to convince them
[7:50] Speaker 4: all I was okay to drive home. I'm like, no,
[7:52] Speaker 4: I swear, but I couldn't say what it was. I
[7:53] Speaker 4: was like, it is because I didn't eat all day,
[7:55] Speaker 4: Like I was just too embarrassed of it. But yeah,
[7:58] Speaker 4: and then that has happened to me one other time,
[8:00] Speaker 4: but I knew I like took an edible once in Montreal, actually,
[8:03] Speaker 4: but years and years later, and it hadn't had nothing
[8:06] Speaker 4: to do with my diet, but like an edible kicked
[8:08] Speaker 4: in as I was on stage because the show was
[8:11] Speaker 4: earlier than I thought, and I wanted to kick in
[8:13] Speaker 4: when I was on a treadmill, but instead I missed.
[8:15] Speaker 4: I think called me while I was on a treadmill
[8:17] Speaker 4: and where like you're up next, I'm like, what the fuck?
[8:19] Speaker 4: So I ran over to the theater and I was like,
[8:21] Speaker 4: I didn't eat again. I didn't eat and i'd you know,
[8:23] Speaker 4: a snack beforehand, and the edible kicked on in stage
[8:26] Speaker 4: and I was just like on stage and I go,
[8:28] Speaker 4: I think I'm gonna faint, so I'm gonna hold onto
[8:29] Speaker 4: the stool. I'm gonna be right back, but I do
[8:32] Speaker 4: need the house to come back. And I'm like not
[8:34] Speaker 4: really making sense, and Robert Kelly is downstairs after he
[8:37] Speaker 4: just brought me on stage. He's downstairs taking a shit
[8:39] Speaker 4: in the bowels of this like punting sens of this
[8:42] Speaker 4: like castle, you know, like Saint Kathleen or whatever it is.
[8:46] Speaker 4: So he was like midship and everyone's like, you're gonna
[8:48] Speaker 4: go back to the health scairs.
[8:49] Speaker 2: She's could go faint.
[8:51] Speaker 4: Then I walked off stage and I just chugged a coke.
[8:52] Speaker 4: That was easier because I was just like, I've been
[8:54] Speaker 4: through this before, this happens and it didn't. But just
[8:57] Speaker 4: totally fainting is was the It was worst moment of
[9:00] Speaker 4: my life.
[9:00] Speaker 5: I think that's one is that when you started getting
[9:04] Speaker 5: help for your eating disorder, no you kept going yeah,
[9:08] Speaker 5: like because it wasn't rock bottom, I can go farther deeper.
[9:12] Speaker 4: There wasn't time to hit rock bottom because I had
[9:13] Speaker 4: to go to Montreal Comedy Festival. I'm not going to
[9:15] Speaker 4: start like going to meetings right on that or whatever I.
[9:17] Speaker 2: Needed to mean, like around that time where you like, oh,
[9:20] Speaker 2: you know.
[9:21] Speaker 4: No, because it was off and on, Like mine would
[9:23] Speaker 4: just always switch. I'd go from like starving myself to
[9:25] Speaker 4: overexercising to then binging to throwing up to so it
[9:29] Speaker 4: just would like change, it would morph getting Actually, I
[9:32] Speaker 4: got actual help when I was really really sick and
[9:34] Speaker 4: almost died. Like that was years prior, when I was
[9:37] Speaker 4: nineteen twenty. I like really got out of the phases
[9:40] Speaker 4: where it was gonna kill me and then I which
[9:43] Speaker 4: is so great.
[9:43] Speaker 2: It was like your hair falling out and stuff.
[9:45] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, like I was hospitalized and stuff.
[9:46] Speaker 2: It was.
[9:47] Speaker 4: It was gnarly. I was gonna die.
[9:48] Speaker 2: I didn't know it is that bad.
[9:49] Speaker 4: Yeah, it was so bad, but I got out of
[9:51] Speaker 4: it and then I started doing stand up and work kind.
[9:53] Speaker 2: Of bumming me out. I'm gonna be honest with you,
[9:55] Speaker 2: like I'm sorry, do you have any idea what I'm
[9:57] Speaker 2: going through right now.
[9:58] Speaker 4: This has always happened to me when I start telling
[10:02] Speaker 4: my truth. My whole life is just me trying to
[10:05] Speaker 4: tell people this, and I'm just being like I was
[10:08] Speaker 4: having a really good day and I'm just trying to
[10:10] Speaker 4: keep it high vibes.
[10:12] Speaker 2: I'm like, you wanted to know that's hard core. I
[10:16] Speaker 2: didn't know it was like hardcore like that.
[10:18] Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, I got out of like I'm not going
[10:19] Speaker 4: to die from this so I can still do comedy,
[10:21] Speaker 4: because I cared enough about comedy that I was like,
[10:22] Speaker 4: I don't want to die from this. Before I was
[10:24] Speaker 4: like please kill me.
[10:25] Speaker 2: This is hell.
[10:25] Speaker 4: As I couldn't eat.
[10:26] Speaker 2: Where did that come from?
[10:28] Speaker 4: You know, being insecure, being a perfectionist OCD, losing a
[10:34] Speaker 4: friend of suicide in high school, Oh you didn't, being
[10:36] Speaker 4: scared to leave home, around college, not feeling like I
[10:39] Speaker 4: had any talent, not being able to pursue like it
[10:41] Speaker 4: was just stemmed from a lot of things of like
[10:43] Speaker 4: I need control in my life, and so it just
[10:46] Speaker 4: showed up in that way of like, oh, I'll just
[10:48] Speaker 4: be the best at not eating, and I really was.
[10:50] Speaker 4: I was quite good at it.
[10:51] Speaker 2: Were you so tired and weak and angry?
[10:53] Speaker 4: Oh, dude, it sucks so much. Whenever anyone sees someone
[10:57] Speaker 4: that is anarexic, please have a little compassion them. And
[11:00] Speaker 4: I know it's like so confusing because you're like, eat something.
[11:02] Speaker 4: All I can tell you is they can't. It doesn't
[11:05] Speaker 4: make sense. And I still don't think it makes sense.
[11:06] Speaker 4: When I see people that are that thin. I'm literally
[11:09] Speaker 4: like the same person I used to hate when they
[11:11] Speaker 4: would say it to me and like eat a cheeseburger.
[11:13] Speaker 4: But it's out of your control, and they're cold and
[11:17] Speaker 4: they're hungry, and you know how you get like a
[11:19] Speaker 4: little bit, you get hangry like Snickers commercials, picture that
[11:23] Speaker 4: all the time, NonStop, and it's never gonna end because
[11:25] Speaker 4: you're never gonna eat again. And you know that, and
[11:27] Speaker 4: so you're in for a lifetime of suffering. There is
[11:29] Speaker 4: no exit.
[11:30] Speaker 3: How do you.
[11:31] Speaker 2: Survive like that?
[11:32] Speaker 4: It's like, it sucks, dude.
[11:34] Speaker 2: You need nutrients, Your cells need nutrients.
[11:37] Speaker 4: Oh and I was I don't know. Yeah, it shocks me.
[11:41] Speaker 1: Now.
[11:41] Speaker 4: Now I'm in a part of my recovery. It's not
[11:44] Speaker 4: like perfect, but I thank god. I'm in a phase
[11:47] Speaker 4: of like I never get to starve, so if I'm
[11:50] Speaker 4: hungry I like have to eat. I don't get to like,
[11:52] Speaker 4: I don't get to answer that little part of my
[11:54] Speaker 4: brain where it's like, this feels pretty good. You're not
[11:56] Speaker 4: eating right now and you're getting that lightheaded feeling and
[11:59] Speaker 4: that feels that you're using weight, Like I don't get
[12:01] Speaker 4: to chase that anymore. So that's like my rule for myself.
[12:04] Speaker 2: What do you do intuitive? Whatever's intuitive?
[12:06] Speaker 4: Yeah, because that but that leads to you being like
[12:09] Speaker 4: I only need to once a day and give an
[12:11] Speaker 4: anorexic I, you know, intermittent fasting diet and she will
[12:15] Speaker 4: run with it until it's anarexia.
[12:17] Speaker 3: Sure.
[12:18] Speaker 4: Yeah, because that's what I loved. When intermittent fasting came out.
[12:20] Speaker 2: I was like, I'm like, never inrexia is back.
[12:24] Speaker 4: I mean I could be airexic again. Yeah, it's back, baby,
[12:27] Speaker 4: And now it's got a name, and Joe Rogan's talking
[12:29] Speaker 4: about it and everyone who's anyone knows that this is
[12:32] Speaker 4: like you know, Tim Ferriss, this is the what wait
[12:35] Speaker 4: he's telling us to do. So it felt I got
[12:36] Speaker 4: back into it in like twenty twenty and then I
[12:38] Speaker 4: got out of it again, but it always comes back.
[12:40] Speaker 4: But yeah, that was I think in terms of bombing.
[12:43] Speaker 4: That just that's the most uncomfortable I've ever been on stage,
[12:46] Speaker 4: and I felt really just bad.
[12:52] Speaker 3: With a redre with a recondre.
[13:04] Speaker 2: What's the most wasted you've ever been on stage?
[13:07] Speaker 3: Oh?
[13:07] Speaker 4: Man, that's a really good question.
[13:09] Speaker 2: Have you been wasted on stage? Yeah? For sure? Like
[13:12] Speaker 2: what stone drunk?
[13:13] Speaker 4: What drunk? I used to I quit drinking when I
[13:16] Speaker 4: was twenty seven, but before then I would get pretty
[13:17] Speaker 4: damn wasted and not really ever on stage.
[13:21] Speaker 2: I remember we used to call you wasted, Nikki.
[13:23] Speaker 4: No, did you really?
[13:25] Speaker 3: No?
[13:25] Speaker 2: No, I'm not.
[13:27] Speaker 4: Even kidding you. I like, that's why I quit drinking.
[13:29] Speaker 4: And I'm like, this is not a good look. And
[13:31] Speaker 4: people will start talking about how you're no fun to
[13:33] Speaker 4: be around, or you're like obnoxious, or you make you
[13:36] Speaker 4: make too many friends and you like make too many
[13:38] Speaker 4: promises and you're too fun.
[13:40] Speaker 2: When were you like trash hold on stage?
[13:42] Speaker 4: I don't think on stage I can remember because I
[13:44] Speaker 4: used to get blackout drunk, you know, so it's like
[13:46] Speaker 4: I don't even know that i'd remember it if if
[13:49] Speaker 4: I were. I think that there have been times that
[13:51] Speaker 4: I'm like so high on stage, but that's always like
[13:53] Speaker 4: pretty fun and in like a challenge.
[13:55] Speaker 5: So all the blackouts, you don't remember any of them?
[13:58] Speaker 5: Do you remember being super Stone on stage?
[14:00] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[14:01] Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely Stone. But I think stoned is like I
[14:03] Speaker 4: don't get anxious from doing stand up anymore. So sometimes
[14:05] Speaker 4: I smoke a little weed beforehand, because I like, I
[14:08] Speaker 4: think the feeling of anxiety of being like I'm nervous
[14:11] Speaker 4: about this performance like makes me a better comedian and
[14:14] Speaker 4: a better performer because I care. So sometimes I smoke
[14:17] Speaker 4: a little weed so that I get like, oh, what
[14:19] Speaker 4: if something happens. It feels like I'm kind of walking
[14:22] Speaker 4: on a tight rope out there, and like whoa, I'm
[14:24] Speaker 4: like controlling this train of thought, which is like you're
[14:26] Speaker 4: so high right now, and I have to do this
[14:28] Speaker 4: train of thought which is like what are you gonna
[14:29] Speaker 4: say next? And then also like what am I saying
[14:31] Speaker 4: right now? And it feels like I'm like an acrobat,
[14:33] Speaker 4: like I feel I feel alive. When I feel like
[14:36] Speaker 4: I'm shoplifting or something, it feels like I'm getting away
[14:38] Speaker 4: with something.
[14:41] Speaker 2: Have you ever like done like a fucking hundred milligram
[14:44] Speaker 2: chocolate chip cookie or something?
[14:47] Speaker 3: Stage? I?
[14:48] Speaker 4: Oh, fuck man, No, My biggest fear is being out
[14:54] Speaker 4: of control in front of people, like anyone witnessing. That's
[14:57] Speaker 4: why fainting was so awful. So I would never do that.
[15:00] Speaker 2: Like when Fergie Peter pants, Oh my god, dude.
[15:04] Speaker 4: I wouldn't mind that. There's been times on stage where
[15:06] Speaker 4: I've almost had like, okay, so women when we're on
[15:09] Speaker 4: our period, like sometimes you just start it or you
[15:13] Speaker 4: in the middle that you run out of tampons, and
[15:14] Speaker 4: so you make a pad with like you roll up
[15:16] Speaker 4: toilet paper around your hand and you make like a
[15:19] Speaker 4: makeshift pad with toilet paper that will soak enough of it,
[15:22] Speaker 4: like unless you're like, you know, hemorrhaging. This is disgusting,
[15:25] Speaker 4: So I know, I'm so sorry, and so you put
[15:27] Speaker 4: it in your underwear. But one time I was on
[15:31] Speaker 4: stage and it was I was just wearing a song,
[15:32] Speaker 4: so it's just like a little string and it's not
[15:34] Speaker 4: like a whole underwear thing holding it in, and it
[15:37] Speaker 4: was starting to fall out and like unripe, like a
[15:40] Speaker 4: bloody tpeing coming yeah on stage, But I caught it
[15:44] Speaker 4: in my thighs. I closed them shut and was able
[15:47] Speaker 4: to like wiggle and walk up stage. So that has
[15:49] Speaker 4: happened where I've and I've been like, what would I
[15:51] Speaker 4: fucking say? What would I do?
[15:53] Speaker 2: I don't even know? But you should have just let
[15:56] Speaker 2: it drop and been like, who wants some vampire tea?
[15:59] Speaker 4: I think I would. I think I would relad into
[16:02] Speaker 4: it now, But at the time it was like the
[16:05] Speaker 4: most mortifying thing that could ever happen. Now, I don't
[16:09] Speaker 4: care if my string's hanging out, It's like who who cares?
[16:12] Speaker 3: Who cares?
[16:12] Speaker 4: As one's like your tampon string, It's like, oh, so
[16:15] Speaker 4: I use a tampon, Like it doesn't I don't. I
[16:17] Speaker 4: don't want to say, like panty lines, people are like
[16:20] Speaker 4: your panty lines showing It's like, yeah, I don't want
[16:22] Speaker 4: to get shit on this pair of pants. I want
[16:25] Speaker 4: or I don't want to, Like is that true?
[16:26] Speaker 2: Like panty lines are shit, but like I.
[16:29] Speaker 4: Don't want to get like pussy juice on my pants,
[16:32] Speaker 4: So I'm wearing underwear like most people do. What is
[16:35] Speaker 4: the crime?
[16:36] Speaker 2: Are panty lines like taboo or something?
[16:38] Speaker 4: Yeah, pant That's why girls wear thongs because you don't
[16:40] Speaker 4: want to see like it's slicing your butt cheek in half,
[16:43] Speaker 4: and it kind of makes like for a bet, you know,
[16:45] Speaker 4: it's better just like look like you're like I could
[16:47] Speaker 4: be wearing nothing under this, and so we wear these
[16:49] Speaker 4: uncomfortable thongs, which I'm getting used to now. It's like flossing,
[16:51] Speaker 4: like you have to get calloused a little bit.
[16:53] Speaker 2: That's like girls make rules to themselves. I don't know,
[16:55] Speaker 2: do guys notice that? Is that?
[16:57] Speaker 3: For?
[16:57] Speaker 4: No, they don't. They don't give a fuck about a
[16:59] Speaker 4: panty line. I mean, I think it does look more
[17:01] Speaker 4: aesthetically pleasing in general, like it's kind of a subconscious thing.
[17:04] Speaker 2: But I don't think generally you guys don't notice anything.
[17:07] Speaker 2: Guys are like I want beef, stood you really don't.
[17:10] Speaker 2: Did you see Fast the Furious seventy five the car
[17:14] Speaker 2: went room room when the other car went do we
[17:19] Speaker 2: We're not like pantylin gross.
[17:24] Speaker 4: You don't care about our nails. It's like that's the thing.
[17:26] Speaker 4: It's so funny.
[17:27] Speaker 2: No, we're like huh. We're like, I hope you play
[17:31] Speaker 2: with my wiener later.
[17:33] Speaker 4: But some guys are like feet guys, so then you
[17:35] Speaker 4: have to manicure if they're like looking at your feet
[17:37] Speaker 4: extra hard.
[17:38] Speaker 5: Like one percent of guys their feet guys. Yeah, I know,
[17:41] Speaker 5: so Quentin Tarantino and Nick Cannon, and that's it. I'm
[17:45] Speaker 5: not I'm not paying attention a girl of chicken feet.
[17:49] Speaker 5: I wouldn't even know.
[17:49] Speaker 2: Wow, okay, I'd be like, do you like me? Can
[17:55] Speaker 2: we kiss on the lips?
[17:56] Speaker 4: In relationships? Would that be a thing that girls would get? Maddy,
[17:59] Speaker 4: you about like you don't have attention to detail? Would they?
[18:02] Speaker 4: Has that ever been a complaint for you in a relationship?
[18:05] Speaker 5: Probably of one of fucking one of five thousand. I
[18:12] Speaker 5: won French fries with my beef stew.
[18:16] Speaker 4: Yeah, you guys are simpler. It must be nice.
[18:19] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[18:20] Speaker 2: I'm at the age now where my horniness, my hungriness,
[18:23] Speaker 2: and my sleepiness are all equal.
[18:27] Speaker 5: So if I'm like not getting laid, I'm like, well,
[18:29] Speaker 5: I'm getting French fries and I'm getting eight hours of sleep.
[18:32] Speaker 5: Hell yeah, right, that's like as sick as like getting
[18:35] Speaker 5: laid to me, Like, dude, I got eight hours of
[18:37] Speaker 5: sleep in my twenties, Dude, I got laid last night.
[18:40] Speaker 5: Now I'm forty, I'm like, dude, I got eight hours.
[18:43] Speaker 3: Of sleep last night.
[18:44] Speaker 4: That's so funny. You got to do that as a bit.
[18:47] Speaker 2: Write that down, dude, I had French fries.
[18:49] Speaker 3: Last night.
[18:49] Speaker 2: Oh helly. My friends are like, are you for real? Like,
[18:52] Speaker 2: hell yeah, I'm.
[18:53] Speaker 4: In a relationship and I will there will be a
[18:56] Speaker 4: moment in the evening where you choose food or fucking
[18:59] Speaker 4: like it's gonna go either way.
[19:00] Speaker 2: It can't be both, dude, I'll be honest. I think
[19:03] Speaker 2: my test house roone is going down because you have food.
[19:05] Speaker 3: Is bitch.
[19:05] Speaker 4: I always use food. Not only have I chosen food
[19:09] Speaker 4: and turned down the thing that's free right in front
[19:11] Speaker 4: of me. I've paid eighty dollars to have this food
[19:14] Speaker 4: delivered to me and driven across town, Like I waste
[19:17] Speaker 4: money on the thing that I'm choosing over the freezing
[19:20] Speaker 4: in front of me. It's crazy because it's food is
[19:24] Speaker 4: so fucking good. But then yeah, you get too full
[19:26] Speaker 4: the fuck TFTF.
[19:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, God, I have a story. I'll tell you. I
[19:30] Speaker 2: have a story.
[19:30] Speaker 3: I'll tell you.
[19:31] Speaker 2: I'll find that is too hot for TV. That's a
[19:35] Speaker 2: perfect way. I was about to have like the sex
[19:37] Speaker 2: of my life, but I ordered a fried chicken sagwich,
[19:40] Speaker 2: first ate it, and then passed out before before No, okay,
[19:46] Speaker 2: I'll just tell it. I was about to have group sex,
[19:47] Speaker 2: and I've never had group sex, and I was like,
[19:50] Speaker 2: it is on. I was like dating this girl that
[19:51] Speaker 2: was particularly freaky, and like, right before the other two
[19:55] Speaker 2: gals came over, we ordered fried chicken sandwiches. We ate
[19:58] Speaker 2: the fried chicken sandwiches, both passed out and like, I
[20:02] Speaker 2: woke up the next morning to like fifty five missed
[20:05] Speaker 2: calls and I was like, I just missed out on
[20:07] Speaker 2: the best sexual potentially the best.
[20:11] Speaker 6: Sexual experience of my life because I hate like half
[20:14] Speaker 6: a sandwich and passed out drunk. It was like I
[20:19] Speaker 6: was like, and I was like, and it will never
[20:20] Speaker 6: come back again. I was like, I'll never be.
[20:22] Speaker 4: No, maybe, but I don't think it was meant to be.
[20:25] Speaker 4: If that really mattered to you, you would not have
[20:27] Speaker 4: chosen sleep and food were you so drunk and tired.
[20:30] Speaker 5: I was drunk, going through a breakup, hooked up, and
[20:34] Speaker 5: I like got back with this.
[20:37] Speaker 4: Gal that you would have caught AIDS that night. This
[20:41] Speaker 4: is all meant to be. I'm serious, Let's just think
[20:45] Speaker 4: of it that way. I was like, tying one had
[20:47] Speaker 4: not to be judgmental of anyone with AIDS. Everyone wants
[20:50] Speaker 4: it and it's fine to be to have it, but
[20:54] Speaker 4: what's cool with it? I'm just trying to be accepting
[20:59] Speaker 4: of those with AIDS. Lets thing, we all we all
[21:01] Speaker 4: are cool with you having AIDS and we wanted to,
[21:05] Speaker 4: but yeah, we do try to avoid it normally. That's
[21:09] Speaker 4: I think that's meant to be. But you'll have group
[21:11] Speaker 4: sex again.
[21:11] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[21:12] Speaker 2: I think that was a sign.
[21:13] Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe it wasn't a thing you should do that
[21:15] Speaker 4: you need to have an life.
[21:16] Speaker 3: It was like on.
[21:17] Speaker 2: I was like, it's on, And the gal I was
[21:20] Speaker 2: with was like, hell yeah, she was like wilder than me?
[21:23] Speaker 4: Did your relationship last long? After? That?
[21:26] Speaker 3: Was that?
[21:26] Speaker 4: Like a good relationships?
[21:27] Speaker 2: I was getting out of what I was like, Oh,
[21:30] Speaker 2: the girl that you were with though, Like that gal
[21:31] Speaker 2: I was with that night was like a gal I
[21:33] Speaker 2: hooked up with before I dated the gal that grew
[21:35] Speaker 2: up in my face. So I was like, I'm going
[21:38] Speaker 2: back to her.
[21:38] Speaker 5: Because you were a dick to me, and like oh yeah,
[21:41] Speaker 5: and we're going we're having a wild hair up our.
[21:44] Speaker 2: Ass kind of night and and uh and then I
[21:48] Speaker 2: ate half a sandwich.
[21:49] Speaker 4: God, those two girls were coming over to fuck you guys?
[21:52] Speaker 4: How did you find them? How did you know they
[21:53] Speaker 4: were down?
[21:54] Speaker 3: Like?
[21:54] Speaker 4: How does this all get organized.
[21:56] Speaker 2: You know what we have to break for commercial?
[21:59] Speaker 4: Real quick, guy, that's really coincidental.
[22:02] Speaker 2: Yeah, I've never brought for commercial either. I just usually
[22:06] Speaker 2: record through.
[22:11] Speaker 4: I just want to know how you organize one. It
[22:13] Speaker 4: just sounds fun.
[22:14] Speaker 2: Well there's clubs, well, of course.
[22:16] Speaker 4: There's clubs fet life, and there's thrinder.
[22:20] Speaker 2: Well there's clubs called strip clubs.
[22:22] Speaker 4: Oh dull okay, that's that would be my first guess. Actually,
[22:26] Speaker 4: if I would have thought even for a second. Yeah,
[22:28] Speaker 4: I love strip clubs.
[22:29] Speaker 2: This is why I didn't want to poison your virgineers.
[22:31] Speaker 4: With my You want to hear what I did. This
[22:33] Speaker 4: is one of the coolest things I've ever done because
[22:35] Speaker 4: I love strippers. But I don't like going to strippers
[22:37] Speaker 4: strip clubs because I don't want like them to like
[22:39] Speaker 4: try to flirt with me. Like I don't like when
[22:41] Speaker 4: it's like, oh, she's like everyone's gonna watch them be lesbians.
[22:44] Speaker 4: I like don't like I want to be like in
[22:46] Speaker 4: control of it. I don't want to be like the
[22:47] Speaker 4: person in the chair.
[22:48] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like it. It is my birthday.
[22:52] Speaker 4: Yeah, I wish I could be like invisible strip clubs
[22:55] Speaker 4: because I like watching guys become that kind of like
[22:58] Speaker 4: they're kind of stupid and these women are all like
[22:59] Speaker 4: walk round powerfully. But my boyfriend was in London and
[23:04] Speaker 4: I was not gonna be able to see him for
[23:06] Speaker 4: his birthday, and it was like kind of a bummer
[23:08] Speaker 4: because I had to get surgery and so it was
[23:09] Speaker 4: just like I just can't be there. It's gonna be fun,
[23:11] Speaker 4: You're gonna go out with your friends, but I wish
[23:13] Speaker 4: I could be there and that. What he didn't know
[23:15] Speaker 4: was I was gonna plan it and I was having
[23:17] Speaker 4: surgery soon after that, but I was going to just
[23:19] Speaker 4: come in for twelve hours and leave the next.
[23:21] Speaker 2: Day, and we're getting surgery in London.
[23:23] Speaker 4: No, I was getting surgery in Boston. So that's why
[23:25] Speaker 4: I couldn't go to London. It was like, this was
[23:26] Speaker 4: on a Monday night and I was getting surgery on Thursday.
[23:28] Speaker 4: So I was like, I just can't make it, babe,
[23:30] Speaker 4: I'm so sorry. But then I decided to go to London.
[23:33] Speaker 4: I talked to his friends, I told that he was
[23:35] Speaker 4: with and I was like, Okay, I am coming to town.
[23:38] Speaker 4: Bring him to a strip club, get him a lap dance,
[23:40] Speaker 4: and then I'm gonna come out dress as a stripper
[23:42] Speaker 4: in this dark room and like surprise him tight and
[23:45] Speaker 4: is so good right, so be cause I like when
[23:49] Speaker 4: he goes to strip clubs, Like I kind of been
[23:51] Speaker 4: into that kind of thing, so I was like, this
[23:52] Speaker 4: will be perfect, and I know he likes them. So
[23:54] Speaker 4: they went and got him and brought him to one
[23:56] Speaker 4: and I went. I flew to London that day and
[23:57] Speaker 4: like went to Zara and got like this stripperiest outfit,
[24:00] Speaker 4: which you can surprisingly find at Zara, a pretty good
[24:03] Speaker 4: stripper outfit.
[24:03] Speaker 2: Tell me something I don't know, honey, and then got
[24:06] Speaker 2: a wit.
[24:06] Speaker 4: I had already bought a wig, and I went and
[24:10] Speaker 4: I went in there early and met with some strippers
[24:12] Speaker 4: to like tell them the plan, and they were like, okay,
[24:15] Speaker 4: we'll get them. And I didn't know this in London
[24:17] Speaker 4: that lap dances they can't touch you, so you just
[24:19] Speaker 4: get a room with someone and then they just like
[24:21] Speaker 4: dance in front of you, which is like who would
[24:23] Speaker 4: pay for that.
[24:24] Speaker 5: Constitution's legal in it and the strippers can't touch you.
[24:28] Speaker 5: The cat then you can pay a woman to have
[24:30] Speaker 5: sex with you.
[24:31] Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it seemed to be on that, you know,
[24:32] Speaker 4: that kind of system. But they were very adamant, like
[24:34] Speaker 4: we can't touch them, which bummed me out because I
[24:37] Speaker 4: wanted to walk in while he's like getting a lap
[24:39] Speaker 4: dance from these girls and be like I'm gonna come
[24:41] Speaker 4: in now, you know, like and just be a sassy
[24:43] Speaker 4: stripper to be like get off ladies, and then it's
[24:45] Speaker 4: his girlfriend. It'll be fun. But they're just like dancing
[24:48] Speaker 4: in front of them and they come to get me,
[24:49] Speaker 4: and then I walk into the room that he's in
[24:51] Speaker 4: with these two girls and they're like, here's our friend,
[24:54] Speaker 4: and he like gets up to like shake my hand.
[24:57] Speaker 4: It was really nice. It was like beg it to
[24:59] Speaker 4: be the way that you would want your boyfriend to
[25:02] Speaker 4: greet a stripper.
[25:03] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, passed. He passed the test.
[25:04] Speaker 4: He was like, hey, I'm Chris, nice to meet you,
[25:06] Speaker 4: and I go I'm nicky, and he was just like
[25:09] Speaker 4: what the fuck? And I was topless too, because I
[25:11] Speaker 4: wasn't gonna be topless because I was like, I don't
[25:12] Speaker 4: want to be topless around other people. But both the
[25:15] Speaker 4: strippers were topless, so right before I went in, I
[25:16] Speaker 4: was like, I'm just gonna like commit to this. So
[25:20] Speaker 4: it was really fun that I got to be a
[25:21] Speaker 4: stripper for a little bit. But as soon as I
[25:23] Speaker 4: got up.
[25:23] Speaker 2: To him, then his wife came in and you were like,
[25:25] Speaker 2: who is this.
[25:29] Speaker 4: As soon as I touched him, though, the security guards
[25:31] Speaker 4: were like, get off him because they thought I was
[25:32] Speaker 4: a real stripper. So it was pretty flattered.
[25:35] Speaker 2: Wow, congrats, thanks.
[25:37] Speaker 4: I was like, yeah, I got it, and then we
[25:40] Speaker 4: then we got out of there, but it was it
[25:41] Speaker 4: was really fun. But I love strip clubs and have
[25:44] Speaker 4: no problem with you going there, and and and uh,
[25:46] Speaker 4: I think it's cool too.
[25:48] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I feels are fun. I felt particularly shy
[25:52] Speaker 2: and vulnerable. It's telling such a front of my co workers.
[25:58] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that that could be it. That's always the
[26:00] Speaker 4: thing about podcasts is like if we're having a conversation
[26:02] Speaker 4: that we would have if we were alone, but there's
[26:04] Speaker 4: right now four other people just listening quietly. So it
[26:10] Speaker 4: just like if we were just thinking of an audience,
[26:12] Speaker 4: we maybe wouldn't care, but like just having one person
[26:15] Speaker 4: be there's a couple of people in the same I'm
[26:16] Speaker 4: alone in my room, thank god, but like I know
[26:19] Speaker 4: that on zoom and like in your room, there's there's
[26:21] Speaker 4: other people there.
[26:22] Speaker 2: I'm like in an office right now, you know what
[26:24] Speaker 2: I mean, Like, I'm.
[26:24] Speaker 4: Like, it's so weird. Yes, okay, well thank you for sharing.
[26:28] Speaker 3: That with us.
[26:29] Speaker 2: Four I mean yeah, Also, the end of the story
[26:32] Speaker 2: just be like taking a nap.
[26:34] Speaker 5: It's at the end of the story was like, hell yeah,
[26:36] Speaker 5: I got fucking lame, like hardcore.
[26:39] Speaker 2: I gizzed everywhere. Then you'd be like, ah, geez. But
[26:43] Speaker 2: the end of the stories, I hate a sandwich and
[26:46] Speaker 2: I took an eight hour nap. It's like super perfectly lame.
[26:52] Speaker 2: I was trying to be like, I.
[26:53] Speaker 4: Don't know, you were so almost cool.
[26:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, I was so almost cool and I was close lame,
[27:01] Speaker 2: middle aged man.
[27:05] Speaker 3: With Aridrey.
[27:16] Speaker 5: With Aridrey, what's the worst bomb you've ever seen that
[27:20] Speaker 5: you would you didn't experience personally?
[27:21] Speaker 4: But okay, can I just I'm not gonna name names,
[27:24] Speaker 4: but I saw one name names you can I saw
[27:27] Speaker 4: one recently, dude. It was so funny because I had
[27:30] Speaker 4: never seen this guy before.
[27:31] Speaker 2: We can also bleep the name.
[27:32] Speaker 4: Well, I saw this guy. I don't think we need
[27:35] Speaker 4: to say his name, because it honestly doesn't. It's not
[27:37] Speaker 4: a no. I didn't know how popular this guy was
[27:41] Speaker 4: when I saw him. I never seen him before, but
[27:43] Speaker 4: he's a big deal and he's more of like a
[27:45] Speaker 4: TikTok guy. But it's not Matt Ryf either.
[27:48] Speaker 2: Can you text me after this?
[27:49] Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll tell you exactly. It's not even going to
[27:51] Speaker 4: be that exciting because you'll be able to see what
[27:53] Speaker 4: I'm talking about almost ammediately.
[27:54] Speaker 2: I'll cut it out. Just tell me now.
[27:56] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[27:57] Speaker 4: Exactly, but he's a bit like he's got a lot
[27:59] Speaker 4: of followers. He's got like he sells out theaters, like
[28:00] Speaker 4: he does well for himself, and he's like, I didn't
[28:02] Speaker 4: know he was a big deal. He's actually really nice.
[28:04] Speaker 4: But I went up. I was at the lat Factory
[28:06] Speaker 4: one night not that long ago, and he no one
[28:09] Speaker 4: in the crowd really knew of his fame and is
[28:11] Speaker 4: he just was bombing so badly, and there was a
[28:14] Speaker 4: guy that was heckling him, and because he's a crowd
[28:16] Speaker 4: work guy and so that's his bread and butter, but
[28:18] Speaker 4: he just lost, like he couldn't handle this guy. That
[28:21] Speaker 4: was just I forget, I really forget the context of it.
[28:23] Speaker 4: But it was so hard to watch and so uncomfortable
[28:26] Speaker 4: to be in the room with, Like it was a massive,
[28:28] Speaker 4: massive bomb for very for a very long time he
[28:32] Speaker 4: which seemed very shaken by it. He couldn't keep he
[28:35] Speaker 4: couldn't get it back up, and I got the impression that,
[28:39] Speaker 4: you know, the other comics in the room it meant
[28:40] Speaker 4: something to him that we were witnessing this, And I
[28:42] Speaker 4: felt really bad. I almost wanted to leave because I
[28:44] Speaker 4: just didn't want him to know that I knew that
[28:46] Speaker 4: he like sucked because the first time I'm seeing him,
[28:48] Speaker 4: so I just think this guy sucks. Right, turns out
[28:50] Speaker 4: he's like very good at crowd work, and it's which
[28:52] Speaker 4: I do think is a talent that I don't have.
[28:55] Speaker 4: But this was just an offset for him.
[28:56] Speaker 5: This crowd work now the cool thing because when we
[28:58] Speaker 5: were coming up, like I would do crowd work and
[29:00] Speaker 5: people and people will be like, don't do crowd work.
[29:03] Speaker 2: Crowd work's easy, you're not allow It was like, you're
[29:05] Speaker 2: not allowed to do crowd work.
[29:06] Speaker 4: Since when is something that's branded easy, Like not anything
[29:10] Speaker 4: that's easy, people go you can't do it. It's like,
[29:12] Speaker 4: actually it works, though it sorry comes easy to me,
[29:14] Speaker 4: Like I don't. It doesn't come easy to me. Crowd
[29:16] Speaker 4: work to me is like very scary and difficult. I
[29:20] Speaker 4: don't even do it. So I think when it's done well,
[29:22] Speaker 4: it's really impressive. I think when it's like worthless clips
[29:25] Speaker 4: on Instagram.
[29:26] Speaker 2: I'm so discouraged. I remember Yea was relag.
[29:30] Speaker 4: Because people were threatened by it, because it's it's I
[29:32] Speaker 4: think people that are I'm a joke writer, they're like,
[29:35] Speaker 4: I don't really, I'm not good off the cuff, and
[29:37] Speaker 4: I'm speaking for me. We're like, we want to make
[29:40] Speaker 4: you feel bad about this thing that you do well,
[29:42] Speaker 4: and so we're like, if you do that, you're a
[29:43] Speaker 4: hack because we can't do it and where you must
[29:46] Speaker 4: write a joke and prepare. So I think that's where
[29:48] Speaker 4: it comes from. But now it's more acceptable as it
[29:51] Speaker 4: should be. I think it's a cool talent.
[29:53] Speaker 2: I think it's cool too. I always thought it was cool.
[29:55] Speaker 2: I was like, why not, why not be.
[29:56] Speaker 4: Spentatous and Sadius is fucking love it.
[29:58] Speaker 2: It works, gives a fuck.
[30:00] Speaker 4: But if something's easy, people go it's not real stand
[30:04] Speaker 4: up like talking about sex too much. It's too easy.
[30:06] Speaker 4: It's like, is that easy?
[30:07] Speaker 2: I never thought it was easy. Yeah, it's not easy.
[30:10] Speaker 2: I never thought it was easy. That's the criticism that
[30:12] Speaker 2: it got.
[30:13] Speaker 4: You're right, that is it. Let's make it clear. It's
[30:15] Speaker 4: not easy.
[30:16] Speaker 2: It's not easy, but people say it is.
[30:18] Speaker 4: And that's what I say about when people brand a
[30:21] Speaker 4: lot of comedians as sex comics, like myself of like
[30:23] Speaker 4: all they talk about sex or like they're just raunchy.
[30:26] Speaker 4: And I think people think you do it because it's easy,
[30:29] Speaker 4: and it is easy for me to talk about my
[30:31] Speaker 4: sex life and make fun of it. But I don't
[30:33] Speaker 4: think it's easy for most people. And I do think
[30:35] Speaker 4: that is therein is some kind of talent whether I you.
[30:39] Speaker 2: Know, nothing's easy, nothing's easy.
[30:41] Speaker 4: Comedy is hard, but people like to say things are
[30:43] Speaker 4: easy because they can't do it. And it's like, maybe
[30:45] Speaker 4: you're not a dirty comic because you don't have the
[30:47] Speaker 4: balls to be one. Maybe not because it's so easy
[30:50] Speaker 4: to be a dirty comic. Maybe it easy. You're not
[30:52] Speaker 4: one because it's not easy for you, whereas being a
[30:54] Speaker 4: clean comic is not easy for me, but just because
[30:56] Speaker 4: it's easy. I don't want to watch people I like
[31:00] Speaker 4: do things that are hard for them. I don't want
[31:01] Speaker 4: to watch Jerry Seinfeld play the Obo like just because
[31:04] Speaker 4: that would be hard for him. I'm not like, wow,
[31:06] Speaker 4: like doing comedy is easy for him. It takes a
[31:09] Speaker 4: lot of work, But like, why does everyone we always
[31:11] Speaker 4: want to see someone doing something that's so hard, you know.
[31:14] Speaker 2: Like I don't know.
[31:15] Speaker 4: That's what bugs me when people say it's easy for her.
[31:17] Speaker 4: It's like, yeah, that's me because I'm inclined to do
[31:19] Speaker 4: this thing. That's you know, I'm going in the direction
[31:22] Speaker 4: of what my personality is, Like I talk about sex.
[31:25] Speaker 4: But so I saw this guy bomb, yeah, and I
[31:27] Speaker 4: think it was really good because he'll never be impressive
[31:32] Speaker 4: to me after seeing that, Like he will never I
[31:34] Speaker 4: will never have I will never respect him.
[31:36] Speaker 3: Why is that good?
[31:37] Speaker 4: Because I think sometimes when it's not like I will
[31:40] Speaker 4: ever I respect him him. I'll never be intimidated by
[31:45] Speaker 4: him because I've seen him faint essentially, you know what
[31:47] Speaker 4: I mean. Like he'll never be able to show boat
[31:50] Speaker 4: around me or act like he's.
[31:51] Speaker 2: You've seen his human moment.
[31:52] Speaker 4: Yeah, I know he can suck sometimes.
[31:54] Speaker 2: So like it like my friend was like, anytime you
[31:56] Speaker 2: want to talk to a hawk girl, just imagine them
[31:58] Speaker 2: taking a shit. We all do it.
[32:01] Speaker 4: I saw this guy take it dump, and many people
[32:02] Speaker 4: have seen me take it dump, and it's so you
[32:05] Speaker 4: can't get out of your head. But because it was
[32:06] Speaker 4: the first thing I saw of him, it's cemented. It's
[32:08] Speaker 4: kind of like you can't go back to your home
[32:09] Speaker 4: club because you bomb there so much. That's all they
[32:11] Speaker 4: remember you from.
[32:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, is being.
[32:14] Speaker 4: Awkward on stage. So I think that bomb I was like,
[32:18] Speaker 4: I felt bad for him, but it was ever since then,
[32:20] Speaker 4: he's killed, absolutely murdered, like hard to follow murdered. But
[32:24] Speaker 4: I'm always like, no, I saw you fucking so bad
[32:27] Speaker 4: and you have no exit strategy. There was no rescuing you.
[32:32] Speaker 4: It was so bad and I hope that never happens
[32:35] Speaker 4: to me again, but it definitely will. And that's the
[32:37] Speaker 4: part about stand up comedy that's fun.
[32:41] Speaker 3: I have to go.
[32:42] Speaker 2: I have to too?
[32:44] Speaker 4: Is that? Is that the buzzer?
[32:48] Speaker 2: Uh nik much?
[32:50] Speaker 4: I love you, Eric, thank you.
[32:52] Speaker 2: It was so fun to talk when you get out
[32:55] Speaker 2: of the prison that is St.
[32:57] Speaker 3: Louis.
[32:57] Speaker 4: I love my mom and dad not gonna do it.
[33:00] Speaker 2: Please come hang out with me. I would love it,
[33:03] Speaker 2: and let's go watch people bomb.
[33:05] Speaker 4: We're friends.
[33:08] Speaker 2: I thought we were friends until you said we're friends.
[33:13] Speaker 2: I just decided that we are.
[33:14] Speaker 4: You should have questioned it before.
[33:20] Speaker 1: With a re condre all right, listen up, we got

[33:29] Speaker 2: Now's your chance to tell me all about it, Mabel.
[33:32] Speaker 1: I want to hear your worst, most cringe worthy what
[33:35] Speaker 1: the fuck was I thinking?
[33:37] Speaker 2: What just happened?
