On July 18, 2007, 55-year-old Barbara Bolick set out on a hike to her favorite overlook in Montana's Bitterroot National Forest with a family friend. It was a trail she knew by heart and had hiked countless times before. But during the hike, Barbara disappeared without a trace. According to the only witness, she was just 20 to 30 feet behind him when he turned away for less than a minute. When he looked back, she was gone. Despite extensive searches, investigators found no sign of Barbara, no evidence of what happened, and no clear answers. More than 19 years later, her disappearance remains one of Montana's most baffling unsolved mysteries.
