What do you do when you know you should want God more—but you just don’t? Matt and Lauren talk about spiritual hunger, the things that quietly fill us up on lesser things, and the rhythms that help turn our attention back toward God. They also share what this looks like in their own lives, from Scripture and prayer to walks, community, silence, and solitude. [0:00] \[UNKNOWN\]: You
[0:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What God wants is your heart.
[0:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He wants all of you.
[0:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so if you don't hunger for God, I think the confession before God is I might appetite for you in this season is low, help me.
[0:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then I think you can start doing the things that kind of position you, that salt rock idea,
[0:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hey, welcome back to between Sundays with the channel.
[0:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Thanks for watching.
[0:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Me and beautiful Lauren Chandler inside and out.
[0:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And we're matching today.
[0:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It just happens literally.
[0:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I asked goes like, hey, what are you wearing?
[1:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She said, I don't know.
[1:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I put on this shirt.
[1:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I went into my closet, just put something on.
[1:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He was already over here.
[1:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then I walk over, we're like, sit down.
[1:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm like, we're matching.
[1:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now I'm not wearing gray sandals.
[1:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, you're not.
[1:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, mules with heels.
[1:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's a mule.
[1:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh mules, is that what that is?
[1:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, it's called a mule.
[1:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I've got questions, but it's not for this.
[1:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[1:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know why it's called a meal.
[1:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, yeah.
[1:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You got a dad joke for us?
[1:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I do!
[1:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You seem excited about this one.
[1:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Why do you trust the king of the jungle?
[1:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why can't you trust the king of the jungle?
[1:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know why I'm trying to figure it out.
[1:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Don't try to figure it out.
[1:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why don't you get a joke?
[1:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why shouldn't you trust him?
[1:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because he's always lying.
[1:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But he's always lying.
[1:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's always lying, he's a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a lion, a
[2:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[2:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you have a lead question for that, or do you want me to just start talking about spiritual hunger or what is spiritual hunger?
[2:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: How would you define it?
[2:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, I think spiritual hunger or angst.
[2:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I kind of like that idea that angstiness for the presence and power of God in your life.
[2:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think it's almost everywhere in Scripture.
[2:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think I've always been drawn to men and women who write that way, talk that way, sing that way, the kind of you can feel it on them, that they're hungry for the transcendent and for that transcendent to be experienced in the eminent.
[3:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: of spiritual hunger, everything from as the deer pants for water, so my soul pants for you, to even his, how long will Lord will you forsake me?
[3:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think show spiritual hunger or angst.
[3:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If I think about who I've loved in Christian history,
[3:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, they, they write like this, like, um, you know, I'm trying to think of examples, like I think Luther was like, um, do not leave me on my own for I would easily wreck it all.
[3:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Such a desperate prayer for God to lead and guide.
[3:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Uh, I think of Moses show me your glory.
[3:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Think of the Apostle Paul saying, oh, that I might know him.
[3:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What's crazy if you think about Moses and Paul in David is they have interacted with the Lord in ways that I'm personally jealous of, right?
[4:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And yet, because God's an inexhaustible well, there's always this more to be had, whatever attainments, whatever experiences, whatever moments we might have.
[4:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's more to be had and to know that and to pursue that and to position ourselves for that.
[4:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think it's a key component to the joyous Christian life.
[4:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What does it look like?
[4:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Do you think to cultivate spiritual hunger?
[4:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, I think spiritual hunger is born of the grace of understanding just how desperate we actually are.
[4:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think if you, you're, I always struggle with this word because I wanna say, say, 88, but is it say she eight?
[4:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't have heard it, so we satiety and satiety and that's what I think you actually say it.
[4:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[4:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But people will be like, you said it wrong.
[5:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I don't know.
[5:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[5:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I think that so many of us, like, numb our understanding of just how desperate we are.
[5:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: or we are overconfident in our ability to bring about that we cannot hunger and thirst for righteousness as Jesus would put it because we've we've gorged ourselves on the small pleasures of this world.
[5:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So like an illustration I've used a bunch is chips and hot sauce, right?
[5:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that it's just every time we have a problem.
[5:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have a problem.
[5:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like if we're addicted to anything, it's chips and not so.
[5:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, it's a problem in the Chandler House.
[5:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like right now, if we just took the cameras over to our pantry next door, how many?
[5:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, we don't have very many tortilla chips right now.
[5:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay, but just so you know how many.
[6:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How many times we have like three bags of.
[6:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Somebody likes to take them up to their room and hide them from everybody.
[6:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He will not be named.
[6:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He will not be named, but he's the only other man in our house.
[6:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: or male male man.
[6:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, he is.
[6:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, he's a man.
[6:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So talk about chips and salsa, what you mean by that?
[6:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, if you, you know, it was funny during the World Cup to me to watch Europeans freak out about certain things.
[6:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And one of the things that they freaked out about when they were in Dallas is that if you go eat Tex-Mex, they'll just keep bringing you free baskets of chips and hot sauce.
[6:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so because of their problem for me, or to quote an old movie that you probably shouldn't watch, they'd be calling me.
[6:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They'd be calling me.
[6:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They'd be calling me.
[6:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They'd be calling me.
[6:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They'd be calling me.
[6:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When we go to like mecosenas or media from scratch or whatever your favorite text places, I will try to cognitively go, I need to not eat the chips and hot sauce because I want to eat the meal because I want those fajitas or those enchiladas, that's the feast.
[7:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The chips and hot sauce delicious as they may be.
[7:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, says to minutes, but not like they're not the feast, they're not going to give my body what it needs long term to be healthy and flourish, but more often than not, I will do that thing where I'm like, I'm just going to have two or three.
[7:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: but the third one, the second one or third one, whichever one's supposed to be the last one.
[7:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It tastes so good.
[7:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Somehow supernatural tastes better than the first two.
[7:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I know.
[7:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then I'm like, I mean, I mean, I mean, it's just one more.
[7:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[7:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then for you know, I'm too fast gets deep.
[7:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So true.
[7:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And we have to tell the waitress, usually, she's like, don't worry, she has some more look.
[7:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: even if I start begging for them.
[7:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Please don't bring it.
[7:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's like the roles that Texas wrote out.
[7:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, like no.
[7:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Very simple.
[7:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I need you to stop.
[7:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What would you say are some tips and hot, hot sauce spiritually for you?
[8:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, man, I can get sucked into my phone.
[8:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[8:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like anybody else can.
[8:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The algorithm for you.
[8:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's so powerful.
[8:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's part for me, uh, um, where's your phone?
[8:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're going to bed night.
[8:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, now it.
[8:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, yeah, I think the phone can suck me in, I think the TV can suck me in, um, I think there's all sorts of places I can run that kind of comfort me in ways that raw me of the feast of bringing my heart to the Lord.
[8:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think the more tired I get, the more apt I am to short-cut it.
[8:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[8:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know why I thought of this just while you're sharing and we were talking about chips and salsa and just that idea of, um, I'm not realizing your hungry even, sometimes that happens.
[8:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I have this vivid memory of the kids are really little, like, nor am I not have been born yet and it might have been like,
[9:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: oddries to or oddries for reads to and maybe I'm pregnant with Nora.
[9:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And, you know, just after very long day, and maybe I've woken up in the middle of the night because someone needed something and I just have this vivid memory of crawling at the stairs and just feeling overwhelmed with
[9:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I think at first, I would feel bad about it.
[9:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'd be like, oh, I just, I miss you, God.
[9:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it was almost like you reminded me, I'm still here.
[9:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The first step is to just tell me you miss me.
[9:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I want to give to miss him.
[9:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, it is.
[9:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And even that's a grace.
[9:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, but I think my chips and sauce as so to speak was just trying to make it.
[9:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, like two toddlers, you know, and I think I might have been pregnant with I say as harder.
[10:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it's harder to have two kids and be pregnant than two kids in a newborn baby because your body is just so.
[10:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: it's so done.
[10:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But yeah, just even the chips and salsa can be just the everyday life things where you're just moving through and you're just not aware of God's presence.
[10:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And because I'm not not everybody can like take their Bible out like in those days.
[10:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And they were two and four.
[10:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, I was just getting what I could when I could.
[10:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But sometimes it's just our attention.
[10:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Where it's this, I'm totally gonna butcher it and this is just my interpretation of it, but quote-unquote.
[10:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But maybe it's maybe the people that it seems like God attends to more closely or actually those who love and attend more to God in their lives.
[10:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I was like, yes, you know, we see these people, and they talk about how they heard from the Lord, and this is what the Lord showed him this, this is what, you know, they heard from him today.
[11:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And sometimes we can think, man, that I wish, that'd be nice.
[11:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I wish God would be like that with me.
[11:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's, well, maybe he is, and you just, you haven't listened for.
[11:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You haven't been hungry for it.
[11:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You've kind of gone about your day, but not realized.
[11:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, he's right here with me.
[11:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This might be my chips and salsa, but I've got my, my RX bar.
[11:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[11:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It is calories, but it's actually good.
[11:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Calories, you know, like it is something that's healthy for me that has the protein I need.
[11:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: that he's like, I gotcha, I gotcha right here.
[11:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So as you were sharing, I just had that distinct memory of like so tired, crawling up those stairs and God, I miss you and him saying, I'm right here.
[11:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And no condemnation, I did not feel bad.
[11:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was just this invitation back to like, to hunger for him.
[12:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: in the various seasons, mom of three small kids, mom of three elementary school kids, mom of three teenagers trying to wrangle me what is cultivating hunger looked like for you.
[12:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think finding the places that make me hungry.
[12:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So one of those is right now going on walks.
[12:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We've got a trail close to our house.
[12:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's in the woods of the suburbs of Dallas that man, there's something about moving my body.
[12:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: and acknowledging God's creation and just listening for His voice there.
[12:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's how I call to be a hunger.
[13:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: listening to hungry people like so either a sermon or sometimes it's a podcast but like getting around hungry people makes me hungry or for a present.
[13:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Being in the word makes me hungry or trying to do what I can to be off my phone and off the screen really does help me.
[13:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That is
[13:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Probably my biggest struggle is getting filled up on that, on the junk food of my phone, then cultivating a hunger for his presence.
[13:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It might be helpful for people to hear, like when are you talk about your rhythms, like your, like if I was describing you, I would talk about what I see when you first wake up and then I would kind of fill in from there, the ways that I see you kind of positioning yourself.
[14:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Right, yeah.
[14:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you know, with the horses or cows, when you need them to drink, you might put a salt rock out there.
[14:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they'll work that salt rock, and then they will drink.
[14:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so as I think about kind of the disciplines in your life, and in my life, there's part of that there where that salt rock of discipline feeds and fuels my hunger for the Lord.
[14:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so talk a little bit about, like, you talk about today, what's a day looked like, because today felt to me like a normal day for you in some ways.
[14:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It did.
[14:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, it's getting up early-ish because that's just for me the best time.
[14:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I love starting my day in the world.
[14:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And so, and then journaling.
[14:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Journaling really helps me because it I can work out things on my heart.
[14:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Journaling always turns to some kind of prayer.
[14:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I always end up praying something for myself or someone.
[15:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Are you writing my prayer in your journal?
[15:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes, I mean, I just, it's kind of like deer diary also the Holy Spirit.
[15:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, father said, Lord, deer Lord, deer triumphant god of the universe together.
[15:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Um, so yeah, just marking some things down turning that into prayer.
[15:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: opening up my Bible right now.
[15:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm reading Ephesians over and over and over again.
[15:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's where I feel like the Lord's invited me to just really dig in deep there and just have some repetition that we'll just kind of work it into my heart in my mind.
[15:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, I'm preaching that next year in 2008, literally.
[15:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Not realized.
[15:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, look at the Lord.
[15:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I won't do it.
[15:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I won't
[15:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he insights or exegesis you have, so don't send him away.
[15:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just screen grab, I think that's how you say it.
[15:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, screen grab, screen grab, your turnovers, and shoot him over to me.
[16:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't think I'm going to be doing that.
[16:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What's in those journals?
[16:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You can read them, but I'm not going to scream shot of them.
[16:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm not going to take a picture of them.
[16:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: OK, deal.
[16:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I do.
[16:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I do think, man, when I die, my kids and my grandkids read these.
[16:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Did I ever tell you that story, though?
[16:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like we had a guy in our church.
[16:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: go home to be with the Lord.
[16:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was brain cancer and when I show up to just love on the wife and daughters and sons and law, their reading is journal.
[16:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it came over to me and like the journal page it was on was all like his doubts about what the one of his son-in-laws could lead and love his daughter as a way and so I've tried to figure out should I destroy these somehow should I first line of the will will be like for anybody here's anything I want all my journals burned
[16:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So anyway, I don't know.
[17:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it'd probably be comforting for, I mean, I don't know, for people to be like, oh, normal.
[17:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Normal.
[17:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, okay, they have doubts.
[17:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They have struggles.
[17:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They have their favorite word right now, wrangling with the Lord.
[17:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Have I been saying that a lot?
[17:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes.
[17:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right, why are you just now telling me this on a public forum one into like pull me to the side of the neck You're stuck on this work.
[17:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You will get stuck on you.
[17:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Give me some of the other ones his story Discombobulated was a huge one for what it was because our angles are right now wringles right now What else?
[17:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, I love it so much.
[17:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't want to stop it, but you kind of do no.
[17:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm just like I have a long a little
[17:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You should do something every time I use that word, something sweet.
[17:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[17:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like a, a NM touchdown sweet.
[17:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, like you're like that.
[17:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yep, we'll smooch.
[17:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Which there's not been a lot of those this year for the eggs.
[17:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a
[18:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Then I met with a friend to walk in a friend that, you know, life is busy.
[18:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We both have teenagers and she has younger ones too and she's running a ministry and but making time to connect with one another, went on a walk, got to hear what the Lord's doing and her.
[18:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She got to hear what he's doing in me and
[18:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I hope some dreams that we both have, desires, struggles, and so, like literally walking it out together, and then, yeah, just trying to be cognizant of the Holy Spirit's presence with me at all times, even as I drabbed the hobby lobby to get all the stuff to make these overalls for our senior in high school, and then in the core, in the core.
[19:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A lot of times I'll listen to sometimes worship music sometimes a podcast or I love the sing devotional.
[19:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I love trying to give things dwell if sometimes if I don't have time to read my Bible in the morning I will do the dwell app and listen to the word over me.
[19:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, who's your reader?
[19:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's a woman, I forget what her name is, but she kind of sounds British.
[19:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[19:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You like that?
[19:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I do.
[19:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I like her.
[19:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then do you have the ambient music plans?
[19:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes, maybe it always.
[19:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Always.
[19:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Always.
[19:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Um, yeah.
[19:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And so does that mean I'm always floating in just like, above everything?
[19:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, it's like,
[19:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It just helps actually help scround be in what is important and God's perspective of what's going on in my life.
[20:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, okay tell me about you though.
[20:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't want to talk about the way I would frame what you're describing is the illustration of it's the salt rock.
[20:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're in the Word in the morning, which makes you more hungry for the things of God.
[20:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're talking about what Jesus is doing in your life to a good friend.
[20:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're hearing from her what Jesus is doing and what she's hoping Jesus does and what you're hoping Jesus does in the life of kids in the life of ministry, in marriage and it's all rock stuff.
[20:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're listening to Scripture in your car or listening to a podcast that's talking
[20:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: about Jesus, about His glory, about the goodness of the gospel.
[20:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so these things start compounding into, I think, a real hunger for the presence and power of God in your life.
[20:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And mine's not all that dissimilar to yours.
[21:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm going to kick off my day in the Bible, and we've found out this morning unbeknownst to us.
[21:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that I was in Ephesians to this morning and that prayer at the end of chapter 1 just got into my bones this morning.
[21:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like I just lingered on and found myself crying out for those things in my own heart.
[21:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then went to Jiu Jitsu and that might not sound spiritual, but I love the men I get to train with and the good work Jesus is doing there.
[21:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, we baptized so many guys and then after that class,
[21:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think close to 50 of them now, go up to the church patio and they share their testimonies and they're going through a book together, they read the Bible and they, so that's kind of the vibe of where I train now was not like that four years ago.
[21:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: God has done a profound work there.
[21:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so just seeing those guys and checking in on them and that's really good for my soul.
[22:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Uh, and not everybody's going to be able to do this, but um, once a quarter, three times a year, uh, I take three or four days and I head out to our river cabin just to be alone with the Lord.
[22:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Mm-hmm.
[22:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, and sometimes that's absolutely amazing and sometimes that's just a discipline.
[22:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[22:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So the last time when we've talked about this the last time I was out there,
[22:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was just in my head the whole time I could not get out of my head and I kept just going, no, no, no, I'm here for you.
[22:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not here to solve this.
[22:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not here to work on this.
[22:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want to, and it never lifted off of me.
[22:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's okay, because it's the discipline that matters, not the experience of it.
[22:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So silence and solitude does a lot for me, and so I try to build rhythms of that into my life.
[22:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm very similar to you that if I can get around like angsty, want to see the presence of power of God brought to bear on the world people,
[23:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I always leave encourage.
[23:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I've got a group of friends, both at the village and beyond, that can really do a lot for my hunger.
[23:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I want to fill my life with people and voices and things.
[23:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that make me see the God of the Bible accurately and long for Him to be known and loved in this world and to grow my own love and longing for Him in this world, to this side of glory.
[23:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so that's kind of what mine looks like, too.
[23:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What would you say to someone who is kind of like, well, great for you, your pastor, this is a part of your job.
[23:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What do you always say, you don't get paid to love Jesus?
[23:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, that's permission to play.
[23:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You, there are other things that you do that, of course.
[24:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But even for me, you know, I,
[24:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: own a coffee shop, but I don't have to be there all the time, you know.
[24:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And so, and I'm in a place in life where I have some more free time, I have some freedom to spend time.
[24:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What would you say to the person that's like honestly like Audrey or Reed, who's working a job?
[24:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You know, can't just steal away for an hour in the middle of their day.
[24:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, they're doing something with their hands, with their minds.
[24:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What would you say to what would you say to
[24:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, I think I would say to Audrey and Reed, what I have said to Audrey and Reed.
[24:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, that's right.
[24:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Which is the same friend of yours.
[24:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, that's great.
[24:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Look, like everybody's got the same 24 hours.
[24:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[24:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What's interesting about what you have discussed and what I have discussed is neither one of those has anything to do with our jobs.
[24:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: like TVC is not paying me to wake up in the morning and spend time with the Lord.
[25:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And one of the things I've told Reed for years, specifically as a man, although I think it could be true for women, is you can be as selfish as you want at 5 a.m.
[25:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You meet nobody's clamoring for your time at 5am, unless you have a sick kid, or unless you've got those toddlers, who are waking up at 5am, you might not be in a season where you can steal away for an hour, but I bet you can find five minutes.
[25:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is the beauty of the gospel.
[25:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Christ has made provision that
[25:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: if you've got five minutes, give him that five minutes with the confession that I want more of this with you.
[25:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Repurpose your car rides.
[25:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Take a PTO day.
[25:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Early on, long before I could,
[25:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: be gone for three or four days to just spend time with the Lord.
[25:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I always love that Andrew is in here.
[25:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We found a day one day a month.
[26:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was almost always on a Wednesday, and I would get up super early and drive to Falls Creek, which is a state park in Oklahoma.
[26:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's about an hour and a half away.
[26:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that was way before an iPhone.
[26:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so I'm sure you were worried whether or not I'd find it and be able to get myself home.
[26:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I hadn't, I haven't.
[26:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I probably was with the kids, and I was like, what is he doing?
[26:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know.
[26:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, because what I was trying to do is I didn't want it to feel like anything different for your kids.
[26:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Right.
[26:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I'd go up spin the day out in the woods by that waterfall up there, by the little river lake thing.
[26:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then I would come home in time for dinner, but I would just get a day by myself.
[26:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that was at the time PTO for me.
[26:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was a day off where I had to go.
[26:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not coming in the office.
[26:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm going to go spend this time with the Lord.
[26:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so I think the old adage, where there's a will, there's a way.
[26:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and so maybe you're in a season where that's five minutes or maybe you need to get up a little bit earlier, which makes you go to bed a little bit earlier, but I also aware that there are seasons where even that, like the number of times in different seasons, I desperately wanted to be embed by 10 and it ain't happening.
[27:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, I'm going to have a teenager.
[27:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, it's harder.
[27:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[27:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so that means I'm going to run tired and I still need to get up and be alone with the Lord.
[27:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We did not have early, early risers and now that they're older certainly not early risers.
[27:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so the morning for me has always been there and what's funny is I've learned to love the mornings, which was not something that was true early in our marriage before we had kids.
[27:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: but it's the only place I can find it.
[27:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not happening once the day starts.
[27:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not happening in the evenings and so wins it going to happen.
[28:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think the mindset of, let me do what I can, where I can and understand that I'm in a season and there'll be a season where maybe this can be as long as I want it to be.
[28:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Or it can be as long as the Lord wants it to be.
[28:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I might not be in that season and Christ has made provision for that.
[28:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You are not loved more or less based on that.
[28:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I do think your experience of God's love can grow or shrink based on how you're posturing your heart and your time and your energies before the Lord.
[28:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, but would you say to the person that's like, I know I should be spiritually hungry, but I'm just struggling right now.
[28:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Man, I love that question and I think David answers it for us in Psalms.
[28:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[28:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Where those prayers of desperation, like as the deer pants for water, so my soul longs for you or his Psalms exist, when can I go meet with God?
[29:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When can I be with you?
[29:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: those are prayers of desperation, a longing for something he doesn't have.
[29:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so I love and if anybody's watching this and have watched us, you're going to hear me talk about this a lot.
[29:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What God wants is your heart.
[29:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He wants all of you.
[29:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so if you don't hunger for God, I think the confession before God is, I might appetite for you in this season is low, help me.
[29:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then I think you can start doing the things that kind of,
[29:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: position you, that salt rock idea, position you under the waterfall of that grace.
[29:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't think you can turn on the waterfall, but I think you can position your life under it.
[29:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You will encounter the Lord in His word.
[29:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You will encounter the Lord in His prayer.
[29:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You will encounter the Lord among His people.
[30:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think those three are universally true.
[30:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So where can I in this dry season?
[30:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Or I'm not even
[30:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, where can I get a little salt rock in my life that that makes me pant as the deer pants for water?
[30:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so I think that's the Bible.
[30:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that's trying to pray and maybe mean frustrated trying to pray.
[30:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Right.
[30:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think that could be physically fasting.
[30:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Don't sleep on fasting.
[30:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yep.
[30:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I hate fasting.
[30:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yep.
[30:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But what a gift fastness to tie you into spiritual
[30:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, um, and then I think get around people who just are dripping with a love for Christ in his kingdom.
[30:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, it's good.
[30:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[30:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What about you?
[30:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, you've got thoughts here, what would you say?
[30:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like if you're, if you're walk today was with a woman who on the trail said, I am in just such a dry season and I hate that I'm in a dry season and I'm not quite sure what to do about that.
[31:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How would you, how would you have counseled her on that walk today?
[31:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think the first step is to be honest with the Lord and just that prayer is the prayer he wants to hear is what he already knows is your honesty is like I I want to be hungry but I'm not I am dry I am weary and it makes me think of someone of seven where the people
[31:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: angry and thirsty with no way to a city to dwell in, but they crowd up to the Lord in their distress.
[31:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And so I think that's important is crying out to him in, like crying out to him in your distress to say, I, I miss him.
[31:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I, I miss that I don't miss him.
[32:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I, I, I, I,
[32:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm hungry, and I want to be hungry, I want to be thirsty, and I just don't even have the energy for that, to be honest there, but to also, like you said, to show up in the places where he has shown up, and to ask him to show up there for you.
[32:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I know.
[32:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes, the word of God is his story, and we know who he is by reading it, but we also learn a lot about ourselves.
[32:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And that the point of the Bible is not to just study about God, but to interact with the living God.
[32:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And so I don't think there's anything wrong with coming to your Bible and saying, God, I need a fresh word from you.
[32:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This morning, will you minister to me?
[32:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: you don't have to like, die agreement and like, you know, dissect it.
[32:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You can just be like, Lord, and I, I would even, you could even do the, you know, whatever route, what is it?
[33:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Relay.
[33:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, Christian, let by Ruler.
[33:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Do I recommend that all the time?
[33:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, like study your Bible, read Ephesians over and read a book of the Bible, read it chronologically, read it from cover to cover.
[33:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Absolutely dive in.
[33:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But me and when you just are like, oh, I just need something.
[33:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't think there's anything wrong with being like, Lord, it falls open to a page.
[33:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Would you just meet me there and if it's some obscure page, then just try again.
[33:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But like I like to people just go to the Psalms or go to the Psalms like whatever you're feeling but I mean there've been times where I like straight up gone to something I was like I needed that I needed that right there and so
[33:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I put lots of caveats around that like don't let that be your main form of Bible study, but there can be times where you just, he's living on and you have the Holy Spirit.
[33:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: If you're an enemy, have the Holy Spirit and he can speak to you where you are.
[34:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Amen.
[34:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And through his word.
[34:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you know another thing that always does wonders for me?
[34:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I don't know how this land.
[34:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know that I care.
[34:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I love a good conference filled with hungry people.
[34:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[34:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like even last week I was in Jacksonville for their church liver summit.
[34:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then they went on and did saturated.
[34:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I wish I could have stayed, but I needed to get back.
[34:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: but man, just to be in a room full of people in ministry, hungry for God to do something beautiful in their ministries or alters last year, which was so powerful, and so I love a good conference, man.
[34:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, and I just think about we just interviewed someone that talked about where Jesus said he actually is present.
[34:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And so we're two or more gathered in his name.
[34:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's like, well, there you go.
[34:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You know, like, if a conference sometimes, it is good not just to be gathered in his name, but to be gathered with people who are wanting the same thing and asking God for the same thing.
[34:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I love church.
[35:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes.
[35:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I love, you know, that Psalm of David were, he's like, he missed going with the procession into the tower, and I call it, he just missed it.
[35:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I often times wonder how much the Lord sustains, prepares, and protects.
[35:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: by a simple Sunday morning service where the Word of God has cracked open and read and exposited and we sing what's true about Jesus.
[35:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We take the bread in the cup and we're doing it together in carnationally in the room and I have my own thoughts and feelings about live streams
[35:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: doing it at home, and I think you've got a sick kid, or, you know, there's grace for that, but that is the normal practice I don't think is the kind of information you are missing out for sure.
[35:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so I've often, I love Saturdays and Sundays gathering with the Saints and thinking about looking at marveling at the goodness of Jesus and so good for my soul.
[36:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: so good for my soul.
[36:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In seasons where I've been unable to do that, I have felt full of it.
[36:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[36:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I felt the loss of it.
[36:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's easy to get, I think, cynical when you're not a part of a body like that.
[36:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Absolutely.
[36:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, you'll forget that everybody's human.
[36:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, because it's just it's distant so you can see like that outside, but not really what's going on.
[36:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, inside.
[36:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I agree.
[36:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[36:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay, well that's good.
[36:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What other disciplines, salt rocks could help if we're talking about developing feeding spiritual hunger.
[36:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Um, I mean, I'm just looking right here like just reading books, uh, I love tozers, um, what's the classic one, I don't know, hunger for God.
[37:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, even just starting there.
[37:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Um, yeah, reading books by hungry people.
[37:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: that encourage you reading stories about hungry people, reading the stories, yeah, of, um, you know, that, that, that hybridese revival of the woman that would just not give up praying for revival for, there are people or, you know, so many stories of people hungry for the presence of God, that remind you, okay, I'm not the only one, and this is how they,
[37:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is how they sought the Lord.
[37:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is how they remained hungry.
[37:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is how they were sometimes satisfied and God even hungrier.
[37:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[37:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, that's one of the verses that in Philippians that that always shocks me is in chapter three where the apostle Paul says, oh, that I might know him.
[38:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, this brother's been to the third heaven.
[38:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But right, he has seen the power of God move through him in ways that probably make the rest of us a bit jealous and his heart cry is still O that I might know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings.
[38:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: like those are the kind of texts that formed me early as if God's an inexhaustible well, then I should always expect that there's more of him for me to know Marvel at gaze upon
[38:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: be blown away by and to experience and yeah I mean that's you know Moses show me your glory that's yeah I think you could just walk through the Bible and find these men and women who've had these tremendous experiences with God crying out for more of the very thing they've already tasted and seen is really good.
[39:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[39:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's good.
[39:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[39:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right.
[39:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: All right.
[39:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, spiritual hunger.
[39:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You want you pray for the people listening, because I can imagine there's some that like or like, yes, like I am spiritually hungry.
[39:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I want to be hungry or
[39:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then there might be some, you know, that are just, they're just straggling, they're just in a desert of sorts, or Anyway, I would love to pray.
[39:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I do have a thought.
[39:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[39:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[39:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think, and hopefully this is encouraging the experience of the desert is a kind of hunger.
[39:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it is the thing that most frequently makes us go, oh man, I need the Lord.
[39:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And in awareness, the grace is the awareness that you need the hunger and you want it.
[40:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So once you're aware, I need to get some salt rock into my life.
[40:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I need to orient my life around him.
[40:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That is what we're talking about, like the grace to be aware.
[40:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's right.
[40:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's spiritual hunger.
[40:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes, spiritual hunger.
[40:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I love that.
[40:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So be encouraged.
[40:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[40:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let me pray for us.
[40:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mm-hmm.
[40:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Father, I know this is a shorter episode, but I just such a necessary one.
[40:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Jesus, you said, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness in your promises.
[40:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They will be filled.
[40:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so I pray for my brothers and sisters right now whatever season they're in, maybe it's just absolute chaos and they miss you.
[40:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I thank you for that gift of grace that they do miss you.
[40:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I just pray where they're able to steal away and lift their eyes and open their bibles.
[40:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that you would meet them with comfort and awareness of your goodness of your grace.
[41:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just pray that there would be passages of Scripture that they just cling to.
[41:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They don't need to read five chapters, just a sentence of your word that they would take in and meditate and pray on and consider over and over and over again until it begins to fill them with your goodness and grace.
[41:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so thank you for
[41:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: the dry seasons and our lives, and how they've always given way to rain.
[41:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so I just asked, would you send the rain?
[41:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Would you send the rain into the men and women that are listening to this right now on a treadmill, in a car, in their office, wherever they are, that they would be provoked.
[41:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: with greater desire that you would prevail over our lesser loves in a way that we are desperate enough to come before you, eager and longing to know you more deeply, and so I ask that you would prevail over the details of their lives, over the hardness of their heart,
[42:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: over sins of laziness and license, and that you prevail, and that there are hearts to be captivated by your beauty and grace.
[42:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We love you.
[42:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Thank you, lemon.
[42:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Amen.
[42:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right.
[42:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Thanks for joining us, guys.
