[0:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The internet is a big place, and it's full of bizarre mysteries.
[0:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Many of them were never solved, but every now and then self-proclaimed internet detectives band together from across the globe to dive down the rabbit hole and uncover the truth.
[0:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And sometimes they succeed.
[0:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So from an apparently cursed arcade machine to a spine-chilling photograph of unknown origins, let's investigate some seriously strange mysteries that were solved by Reddit and the internet.
[0:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If someone went to the effort of breaking into your home, you'd expect them to make off with your TV or something, right?
[0:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Not plan a bunch of cryptic post-it notes.
[0:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: At back in twenty fifteen, Reddit user R. Bradbury, nineteen twenty, posted two illegal advice thread when he suspected someone of doing exactly that.
[0:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In the post, Bradbury explained that over the last few days he'd been walking up to find strange notes stuck around his bedroom, written and handwriting that wasn't his own.
[1:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The notes ranged from mundane reminders to save his PC documents to ominous claims that his landlord wasn't letting the mystery writers speak to him.
[1:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Eh.
[1:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Redberry lived alone and there was no sign of breaking an entering, so he assumed his landlord was trying to scare him.
[1:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he had no idea why.
[1:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, in an effort to catch the intruder in the act, he'd set up a webcam to record it night.
[1:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, on checking the files the next day, he found they'd all been deleted.
[1:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, what?
[1:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The Reddit post exploded as people trying to get to the bottom of it all, but everybody was stumped, until one commenter by the name of Kakarlek posted his two cents.
[1:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Kekkerlack posited that there was no mystery intruder at all, and that Bradbury himself was responsible for the nose.
[2:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But how?
[2:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Three words, carbon monoxide leak.
[2:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The cover monoxide or CO is a poison is gas produced by some home appliances that can make you seriously ill if you breathe it in.
[2:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Plus it's colorless and odorless, so the only way to know it's even there is through special CO detectors.
[2:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now get this.
[2:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: One of the symptoms of CO poisoning is amnesia.
[2:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Could Bradbury have been forgetting he wrote the notes?
[2:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Seems plausible, but what about the deleted camera files and the handwriting?
[2:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, after checking his CO-detector, Bradbury made another post.
[2:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It turns out, Cagrelek was right.
[2:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He'd suffered brain swelling due to a carbon monoxide leak and was writing the notes himself in a confused state, then completely forgetting about them.
[2:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was so bad that he couldn't even recognize his own handwriting.
[2:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: As for the deleted cam footage, she wasn't deleted.
[2:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It'd never been recorded in the first place.
[3:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Redberry had been so out of it that he hadn't set the camera up properly.
[3:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Jeez.
[3:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Ten months later he reported that he was still recovering from the effects of the poisoning but felt positive about his future.
[3:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Kaker Lack probably saved his life.
[3:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hopefully Bradbury made a full recovery in the end and got a nice payout from his landlord.
[3:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That'd be fuming.
[3:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Personally, I can't think of any good reason to go exploring an abandoned nineteenth century psychiatric hospital, but Reddit user and fear the six-floor boneless hotdogs seems to disagree with me.
[3:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's one close to his home and having apparently never seen a horror movie in his life.
[3:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: BHD decided to explore the totally non-hunted location back in November,
[3:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: After sneaking in through an unlocked door, each reverse the halls and crept downstairs to the basement, where he came across something that absolutely baffled him.
[3:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Was it some kind of doorway?
[3:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If so, were the heck did it lead?
[3:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: After getting a closer look, boneless concluded that this strange structure was actually some sort of device with a door on each end and rusted gauges on the side.
[4:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The word ammonia was written on one of them, but that was the only clue that the explorer had.
[4:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I had to just assume this was some kind of horrific trap from the saw movies and runaway screaming, but boneless was hungry for the truth.
[4:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we got home and uploaded photos of the unknown device to rent it.
[4:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Was it some kind of furnace?
[4:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If so, for what?
[4:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Not quite.
[4:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: After a myriad of suggestions had been ruled out, one wise editor was able to unveil the truth.
[4:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It wasn't a soundtrack but door to unspeakable horrors or a furnace.
[4:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was an autoclave.
[4:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Autoclaves used steam and pressure to sterilize equipment and are commonly found in healthcare settings.
[4:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This particular one was so huge because it was designed for the mattresses and bedding of patients.
[4:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Not the patients themselves.
[5:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Pew.
[5:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: As for why it's at ammonia on it, the compound can be used to increase the strength of any disinfectant used in the sterilization process.
[5:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Simple.
[5:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So maybe not as dramatic as you were hoping for, but I for one am glad that this thing isn't actually the work of a sadistic serial killer.
[5:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And two thousand five and alternate reality game was released called Perplex City.
[5:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Players bought packs of cards containing random puzzles saw them and followed the clues they provided to try and find a cash prize hidden somewhere in the real world.
[5:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The game has largely been forgotten over the years because its creators abandoned it after the first prize was won.
[5:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, one card from two thousand six was never forgotten.
[5:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This puzzle titled, Billion to One, featured a mysterious unknown man with some Japanese tag sampling reading, Find Me.
[5:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Players had one clue.
[5:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The man's name was Satoshi.
[5:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Some people became obsessed with this mystery and quickly established a website dedicated to the search.
[6:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Surely with the power of the internet it gets solved in no time, right?
[6:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Wrong.
[6:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The web was a very different place back in the prehistoric two thousands, and the conundrum would mostly need to be solved through a word of mouth.
[6:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was some level of success when someone figured out Satoshi snapped his selfie and Kair's bird France, but nothing else of note was uncovered for years.
[6:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Time went by and it seemed the mystery would never be solved, but then in December, twenty-twenty, Reddit user Thomey blew the whole thing wide open.
[6:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: See though May opted to run Satoshi's photo through an AI facial recognition software and found even more images of the man along with a page on his company website.
[6:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Was this really him?
[6:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The community fired off an email and waited with baited breath.
[6:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then after what was probably the longest twenty-four hours of their lives, they received a response.
[7:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was Satoshi.
[7:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Fourteen years after the search began, it had finally come to an end.
[7:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Satoshi had forgotten what he was supposed to actually reveal, but given that it had been over a decade, I think we can forgive him.
[7:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, because the puzzle was solved with AI tech on available back in two thousand six, can we really say it was fair?
[7:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You spent a decent amount of time on the internet back in the two thousand tens, you probably remember the video.
[7:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I feel fantastic.
[7:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The unsettling videos bring up seemingly out of nowhere and went viral, spooking everybody unfortunate enough to stumble across it.
[7:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The leading theory at the time was that the android in the video was created by a serial killer.
[7:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The story went to eat in the lives of his victims and put their clothes on his android.
[7:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sounds a little far-fetched, but the thing was undeniably creepy.
[7:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The original video was mysteriously taken down, but re-uploads continued to haunt the internet for many years without exclamation.
[8:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Until one writer called Yitzi Litt sent out to investigate in twenty twenty.
[8:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Litt managed to track down images of the strange robot to obscure Android appreciation websites dating back to two thousand one.
[8:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: which yes, we're apparently a thing.
[8:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: These sites listed the creator as one John Bergeron.
[8:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Big John was apparently attempting to create a revolutionary android for use in the entertainment industries.
[8:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: named Tara, the one in the video was a prototype that cost him two thousand dollars to create or some thirty four hundred dollars today.
[8:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: His plan was to mass producer, but considering we've never seen Terra performing a world tour, well, let's assume this never ended up happening.
[8:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Instead, we got one very freaky music video when a whole lot of questions.
[8:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So there you go.
[8:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No serial killer here, just a man trying his best to invent something special.
[8:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Terra may be creepy as hell to us, but I'm sure she was a labor of love for her creator.
[9:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, sweet.
[9:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, slightly off-putting way.
[9:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I once found evidence of alien activity inside my toilet.
[9:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I tell you more, but I'm on an FBI watch list now.
[9:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When Reddit user Robo-Sixie six started scanning through Google Maps and Hampshire Southern England though, the last thing he expected to come across was evidence of alien activity.
[9:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Indeed, Ravo stumbled on bizarre markings in the middle of a field in twenty twenty two and was utterly confused.
[9:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Could this finally be proof that aliens have landed?
[9:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Desperate did know Ravo did what any sensible person does nowadays.
[9:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He posted the mysterious image on Reddit.
[9:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Shock horror, it was quickly determined that the markings probably aren't alien landing sites.
[9:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're actually trial trenches, and a whole lot of them.
[9:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Basically, before any major construction project can take place, the area needs to be checked for archaeological significance.
[10:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If there were ancient structures or artifacts just beneath the surface, they could be permanently lost, so a few trenches are dug to see what can be found.
[10:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The fact that this area has so many means people probably thought it was hiding some real juicy stuff.
[10:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Whether it actually was, I can't say for sure.
[10:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But another editor unearthed the proposal for a shopping area in this exact location, so we at least know the reason the trenches were dug in the first place.
[10:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, no UFOs this time.
[10:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: unless it's all a cover up, of course.
[10:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Strap in because I'm about to take you on a wild journey to a fantastical land of wacky creatures in intrigue.
[10:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Back in twenty seventeen, comedian Nate Franald was browsing online for some retropins to add to his collection when he stumbled upon this exceedingly odd little trinket titled Gidas.
[10:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Having never heard of it before, Franald found himself strangely allured to the weird badge.
[10:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A Google search turned up nothing though, and the seller of the mystery pen had no idea when or where it was acquired.
[11:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now for Nalln was even more interested, so he posted a pick of the pen to Twitter and beg the internet for help.
[11:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Not knowing what Jesus was was driving him crazy.
[11:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And before long, Jesus had infected the minds of a whole host of for Nalln's followers too.
[11:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And since the self-professed Geters sent out to discover the origin of the pen, and even set up their own subreddit dedicated to the hunt.
[11:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Amazingly, the search gained so much interest that within a few months, thousands of internet sleuths had taken up the cause.
[11:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Eventually, a Twitter user found a lead.
[11:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They'd managed to track down an old sticker sheet featuring none other than Geters, alongside some other wacky characters.
[11:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was a magnetically labeled the Land of Taw, as if from some long forgotten fantasy franchise.
[11:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Another caption on the sheet informed them that it was created by a paper and branding business named Denison in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in, in,
[12:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, the company had since merged with another and had proved impossible to find anyone that used to work there before the merge.
[12:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, as Denison had been based in the city of Framingham, Massachusetts, they contacted the Framingham History Center to see if they know anything.
[12:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Lawon behold the center responded, with good news.
[12:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They had several Denison sticker sheets in their archives, including the Land of Taw.
[12:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The sheet was legit.
[12:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The center put the cheaters in contact with some employees at Denison, and though their memories were rusty, they remembered the sticker artist, one San Patruci.
[12:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sam had unfortunately passed away, but his children were happy to help.
[12:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They looked through his old files and found the original sketches used in the sheet.
[12:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Damn, so case closed?
[12:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, not really.
[12:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We still know why these stickers were commissioned.
[12:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Jesus in the Land of Tower remained as obscure as it gets, and the Dennis and employees were adamant they never produced the Enamel pens.
[13:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So who did?
[13:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who would go to the effort of producing expensive pens for a fantasy franchise?
[13:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No one is ever heard of?
[13:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Gosh dang it.
[13:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Back before video game consoles were a thing people had to leave the house and head to an arcade to play games.
[13:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know are cake right?
[13:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But our kids were kind of mystical in a way and never knew what games you'd find when you popped inside one.
[13:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You just better have hoped you didn't find Polibius.
[13:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: See, Polibius was a spooky arcade cabinet from the nineteen eighty-one that apparently had some pretty nasty side effects on people.
[13:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Supposedly players experience seizures and Somia, night hares, hallucinations, and more.
[13:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Whew!
[13:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I thought Fortnite was bad for your brain.
[13:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: According to legend, Men and Black would lurk near the machines and examine the dead of the gathered from players when nobody else was around.
[13:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: what they wanted to know, we can't be sure.
[14:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then after just a single month of being released, the mysterious machine vanished forever, leaving no trace of its pre-existence.
[14:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Decades later, in twenty seventeen, YouTuber Ahoi decided to investigate the myth properly.
[14:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He scoured the internet for any mention of the game and was eventually led to a website called coinop.org.
[14:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The side held a vast database of old arcade games and seemed to have the first online mention of Bolivia's.
[14:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A man named Kurt Colour ran it and according to a former writer for Gaming Magazine Game Pro, Kurt had told them about the legend in two thousand three.
[14:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: After they subsequently featured it in an issue that year, word of polybius spread like wildfire.
[14:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A hoi reached out to Kurt and he refused to admit it, but everything points to him inventing the polybius myth in an effort to drive traffic to his website.
[14:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's the lie dog.
[14:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it seems Polybius never really existed, but with Kurt refusing to play ball, who knows?
[15:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe the men in black gave him a visit until to keep his lips tightly sealed.
[15:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I hate getting worked on on my car.
[15:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It always cost me an arm in a leg.
[15:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A one-californian resident, an avid-reditor, Khalid went to a mechanic with his buddy, Yassir, and twenty- seventeen, they discovered something even more unsettling.
[15:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A strange device had been stuck near Yassir's car exhaust.
[15:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Khalid's immediate thought was that it was some sort of tracking device.
[15:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Though after showing it to his pals' roommates, they thought it was a bomb.
[15:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yikes!
[15:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Concerned, Khalid turned to reddit and posted a photo of the strange object with some extra context.
[15:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: See, you see it apparently been adventurous to the FBI because of his late father.
[15:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why, exactly, is unclear, but the boys believed it had something to do with his role as a Muslim leader.
[15:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The organization had previously tried to contact you, but backed off when he loared up.
[15:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So could the FBI have been secretly following him?
[15:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Rather quickly, I identified the object, and it wasn't good news.
[16:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: As feared, it was a guardian GPS tracking device.
[16:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sales of such a track are limited only to Army and Law Enforcement, so it was totally the FBI's doing.
[16:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The duo had no idea what to do with it, but they wouldn't have to think too long.
[16:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Within just forty-eight hours of the post, FBI agents showed up to get the device back from your sear.
[16:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The truth was, they'd been monitoring him because of a reddit comment made by none other than Gallet.
[16:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Supposedly, he'd been propagating extremist ideas, but that's a huge stretch.
[16:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In reality, he'd just posted a short comment about chopping mall security, and because of it, you see her ended up getting track just for being a known friend of Caleds.
[16:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, you see her was rightfully annoyed by this, and tried to sue the Bureau, though he was unfortunately unsuccessful.
[16:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hopefully the officers that planted the tracker got at least a firm repper man, though sadly I doubt it.
[17:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Since January, two thousand six thousand people across the world have supposedly dreamt of the same man.
[17:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The question is, have you ever dreamed of this man?
[17:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In two thousand eight a website appeared asking that very question to the whole world and featuring a host of testimonials from people who claimed to have dreamt about them.
[17:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Shortly after, poster started appearing in different cities across the globe, each bearing that spooky image in the same text.
[17:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Anybody else getting the heby-cheapies?
[17:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then one year after it first appeared, the innamymatic website went viral.
[17:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Suddenly, there were more eyes on the mystery than ever before than it only got stranger.
[17:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Over ten thousand people wrote to the website's email address reporting their own experiences of the curious man.
[17:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: paranoia over who he was had erupted into a fever pitch.
[17:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, users on online forums like Forchan were more skeptical.
[17:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They thought the entire concept was fishy, so they performed a techie little maneuver called a reverse IP look up on the website.
[18:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Not long story short, they discovered that it was affiliated with a guerrilla marketing site.
[18:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Guerrilla marketing essentially means promoting a product or idea by unconventional means.
[18:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Could this man be nothing more than one big marketing boy?
[18:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's certainly impossible.
[18:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But there wasn't enough evidence yet.
[18:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Until the following year in two thousand ten that is, when in another dramatic twist, the creator of the website came forward and revealed himself.
[18:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Italian sociologist and marketer Andrea Natella had seen the growing skepticism surrounding the project and confirmed not only that he was behind it, but that it was indeed all just a stunt.
[18:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The sketch of the mystery man was based on the tell us father, and those initial website testimonials were nothing but lies.
[18:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Forplexingly, Natella had never revealed what the campaign was supposed to advertise, but the site was never updated or taken down.
[18:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In fact, people continue to believe this man is a real phenomenon.
[19:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Which isn't actually far from the truth.
[19:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The ten thousand people that emailed Nutella when the stunt went viral weren't all lying.
[19:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Many of them probably did see the man in their dreams, though only because they were influenced by seeing the image in the first place.
[19:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hmm.
[19:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I still find it super weird that we don't know what Nutella was trying to sell.
[19:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't imagine that face is the mascot of a new serial brand, can you?
[19:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I've always found that the less information I have on something, the more unsettling it has the potential to be.
[19:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Enter eleven BX- thirteen seventy-one.
[19:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now I didn't just patch my head against the keyboard, that's the name of a disturbing DVD that was mailed that Johnny Crablicher, the editor of Swedish TechBlog GadgetZZ and twenty-fifteen.
[19:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: After watching it, Johnny was more than a little creeped out, especially when he realized the footage wasn't just a prank.
[19:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It seemed to contain coded messages.
[19:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Strange symbols and half a numeric text flashed up in some frames and the plague doctor had a blinking light on his hand that appeared to blink in Morse code.
[20:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Perplexed Johnny posted the video on his blog and it wasn't long before the internet sleuths got to work on it.
[20:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There was a ton to unpack.
[20:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: One of the codes translated into GPS coordinates for the White House and the Morse code was an anagram for a threat on the president's life.
[20:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yikes.
[20:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Was it the work of a deranged killer?
[20:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If I was Johnny, I'd have destroyed the DVD and fled the country by now.
[20:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But note he kept on working with the internet detectives and one of them actually figured out where the whole thing was found.
[20:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The former Zofoica's sanatorium south of Warsaw.
[20:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Even with the codes cracked in the filming location found though, the video still didn't make sense.
[20:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who made it?
[20:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And why?
[20:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Those questions remained frustratingly unanswered until the initial frenzy died down.
[20:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then a man named Parker Warner Wright suddenly came forward claiming he was behind the video.
