[0:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hey, what's that noise?
[0:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is that the sound of someone suffering from?
[0:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Revenge?
[0:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, but not just any old revenge.
[0:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's the sound of a man suffering from some well-executed passive aggressive revenge.
[0:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm talking posting fish through your ex's later box every single day, level revenge, or collecting dog poop for weeks and throwing it over your annoying neighbor's yard level revenge, cheese.
[0:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So yeah, strap in, because we're about to check out even more, awesomely passive aggressive ways, people got revenge.
[0:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Back in the hazy days of February, year two thousand eleven, college student me and entrepreneur Mark Mao realized his expensive MacBook Air had been stolen from his dorms communal area.
[1:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: With no culprits he resigned himself to buying a new one.
[1:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, being a bit of a tech whiz, Mark had installed a program on his old computer that automatically uploaded all its files to the cloud.
[1:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So a few weeks later, when he logged on to this program with his new laptop, he discovered that whoever had stolen his old MacBook was using it, and all their files had been backed up for Mark to see.
[1:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He found that these name on one of them and immediately reported into the police.
[1:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But then something else caught Mark's eye.
[1:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Tucked away in the media folder was a video of what appeared to be someone dancing.
[1:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mark clicked on it and was astonished.
[1:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was the thief.
[1:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh boy, those are some moves for sure.
[1:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Seeing a golden opportunity, Mark downloaded the video, logged onto YouTube and uploaded it with the title, don't steal computers belonging to people who know how to use computers.
[2:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Reddit quickly picked up the video and within hours it had thousands of views.
[2:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Shortly afterwards, the thief handed the stolen laptop into campus police and messaged Mark apologizing and begging him to take the video down.
[2:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, Mark was in very sympathetic, and you can still view on one minute and thirty-two seconds of it on YouTube today, which has been viewed more than two and a half million times.
[2:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So real.
[2:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just real smooth moves there.
[2:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not a judgemental guy.
[2:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I once met someone who looked peanut butter and sardines sandwiches.
[2:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And we're still friends.
[2:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But that's because he doesn't force his culinary monstrosities onto me.
[2:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Unfortunately, Reddit user and Tripad had once had a very different experience.
[2:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He lived in a apartment block and his downstairs neighbors would hang around on their balcony and smoke all night.
[2:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Which would have been fine if the smoke didn't drift up and to entrap its ventilation system and stink out his entire apartment.
[3:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: At first, and Tripod politely asked them to use the building's designated smoking area instead.
[3:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But after weeks of them ignoring him, he decided to take matters into his own hands, by purchasing a giant water gun.
[3:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That night and trepid waited in his apartment until it was dark, sure enough, the familiar rancid smell of smoke came drifting in.
[3:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But this time and trepid was prepared.
[3:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He quietly tipped out on onto his own balcony, aimed the water gun down at the smokers below, and unleashed ice cold liquid vengeance all over them.
[3:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Immediately the group started screaming, dropping their cigarettes and panic, and trepid darted back into his apartment, stifling his laughter, the next day saw them stood outside the building and cheerfully said hi.
[3:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Though in the whole none of them echoed his cheeriness, and fact they started accusing him.
[3:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But in trepid just denied the accusations as to if they were sure it wasn't raining and went on his way.
[3:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No matter what shape or size you are, everybody should be treated equally.
[4:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That being said, it doesn't always happen.
[4:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Reddit user when Milto is a man with dwarfism, a genetic condition resulting in short stature.
[4:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So when he's out in public he'll sometimes draw attention, mostly from inquisitive children.
[4:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Usually their parents will awkwardly drag them away and reprimand them, which when Milto understands even if it sends them a little bit.
[4:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But one day as he was walking down the sidewalk, he passed a mom and her young child.
[4:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The kid was throwing a tantrum over something, so far so normal.
[4:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, when Milto suddenly realized she'd started pointing at him.
[4:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Unbelievable, she was telling her child that he was one of Santa Zels and that he was watching them.
[4:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If they didn't behave, he'd tell Santa on them and they wouldn't get any gifts for Christmas.
[4:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, one thing was true, when Milto was watching, and he wasn't happy.
[4:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: One of Santa's elves?
[4:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Suppressing the anger, he was about to move on when he noticed the kid's name on a key ring on their backpack and a devious plan spring to mind.
[5:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He walked over to the cranky kid's mouth and said, it's okay, Hunter.
[5:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're already on the nice list?
[5:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Santa's getting you and iPad for Christmas.
[5:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just like that, Hunter's tantrum ended.
[5:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: His mom, on the other hand, looked like she was about to throw one.
[5:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: From school, through to working at nine to five, the people we have to spend every weekday with are often the same ones we'd avoid if we saw them in the street.
[5:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Reddit user, okay present, sixty-five-o-eight, knows this all too well.
[5:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's a construction worker and on his lunch break he sits with his co-workers outside in the form inside.
[5:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He always used to use the same bucket for a seat, only one day one of his co-workers decided it'd be really funny to kick the bucket as hard as they could just before he sat down.
[5:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It flew across the room, and our guy handed troops over and pick it back up, much to the hilarity of everybody else.
[5:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The first couple of times it happened okay, everybody found it funny.
[5:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But after the seven-thime, he had enough.
[6:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So while he was on his own, okay took his usual bucket, cut out the bottom, and placed it back on the floor.
[6:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then he filled it to the brim with nuts and bolts put the lid back on and went back to work.
[6:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Later that day everybody went to lunch as usual and as usual annoying bucket kicker went to do what he does best.
[6:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Except this time his foot collided with the bucket and allowed crunch made him leap back startled.
[6:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know it that he'd failed at kicking it across the room bucket kicker picked it up to lunch with his arms but as soon as he did all the nuts and bolts came pouring out all over the floor.
[6:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was an absolute mess.
[6:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, smart, pulled out a camping chair he'd brought in and said, gonna tidy that up.
[6:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This time, everybody was laughing apart from annoying bucket kicker.
[6:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The Bible teaches us to love thy neighbor.
[6:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But what if thy neighbor lets his dog run all over your lawn and do great big number twos on it?
[6:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: because that's exactly the situation Redditor loved to read five thousand grandpa found himself in some time ago.
[7:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh Grams had caught the dog in the act multiple times and every time he'd gone outside and yelled at the owner to control it.
[7:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yet it happened again and again and again.
[7:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Until one day Grandpa stopped going outside and yelling and steady started going out after the dog had left and picking up the brood button that gets himself.
[7:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You might think he'd given up then.
[7:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But oh no, he'd fall from giving up.
[7:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: After about a month, his granddaughter was nearby when she noticed her grandpa carrying a five gallon paint bucket across the street towards his neighbor who was just taking his dog outside.
[7:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When Graham's got there, he stopped on his neighbor's yard, stared him dead in the eyes and tipped out the contents of the bucket.
[7:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: His neighbor gasped and recoiled in horror.
[7:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was poop!
[7:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But not just any old poop, the same poop the neighbor's dog had been leaving in his yard for the last month.
[7:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And you can bet it's stank.
[7:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Funnily enough, his granddaughter never saw any poop on her grandpa's lawn again.
[8:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: After that, Pokemon.
[8:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a card game, a TV show, a video game, pretty much an empire at this point.
[8:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why?
[8:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because it has a legion of fans so loyal, they'll do anything to keep on catching them all.
[8:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I do mean anything.
[8:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: One kid found this out the hard way back in, twenty- seventeen.
[8:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: His two older brothers were set in the living room laying their collection of cards out on the floor and comparing them.
[8:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, the younger sibling was more interested in grabbing the cards and throwing them around the room than the game itself.
[8:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now, what did I tell you about Pokemon fans?
[8:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, they're ruthless.
[8:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And understandably, these ones didn't take kindly to having their fun ruined.
[8:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, their response was to, they duck taped their brother to a chair.
[8:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, I don't reckon he messed with his siblings' cards ever again after that.
[8:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When you're a kid, there's nothing more fun than going over to your friend's house for a playday.
[8:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Unless, of course, they have parents from hell.
[8:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This was exactly the situation single mom sees so realized her daughter was in back in twenty twenty two.
[9:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: See, so it never liked either of her daughter's friends parents.
[9:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The dad Mike seemed sleazy and the mom's sharing was judgmental, arrogant, and rude.
[9:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But her daughter got on well with there so she later go round for play dates.
[9:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That isn't until one day her daughter came home from her latest play date crying.
[9:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She was a picky eater and apparently sharing a total off for bringing her own food that day.
[9:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Not only that, but she'd also been aggressively trying to get Cecil's daughter to attend Sunday school with her, despite neither Cecil nor her daughter being religious.
[9:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, Cecil didn't take Kelly to this.
[9:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She caught Sharon and after a heated debate, the two parents agreed to only hold a play date that Cecil's house for now on.
[9:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You think that'd be it, right?
[9:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, boy.
[9:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The next weekend came and Sharon arrived at the door with her daughter, but as soon as Cecil opened the door, the other mother came storming in and launched into an angry tirade.
[9:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Apparently because Cecil was a single mom, she obviously couldn't make good decisions and was a bad influence on both their daughters, something she said clearly in front of everybody.
[10:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then she grabbed her daughter and left slamming the door behind her.
[10:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, see so took that as a declaration of war.
[10:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That night she made a fake Facebook account posing as an attractive young woman and started messaging Sharon's husband, Mike.
[10:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Turns out he was, just as lazy as she'd thought.
[10:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mike immediately responded flirting at first, but quickly applying he wanted a... more than just a check.
[10:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Bingo!
[10:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: See so screenshot of the whole conversation and send it over to Sharon.
[10:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sharon didn't reply, but the next morning, see so so Mike storming out of the house with a suitcase and recklessly driving off.
[10:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He came back a couple of days later, so see so hadn't destroyed their marriage, but she'd certainly put it in it.
[10:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's a double moral to this one.
[10:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Don't be a judgmental douchebag and don't be a sleazebag.
[11:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Capiche!
[11:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Going through breakup sucks, but it's even worse when you're the one that's getting broken up with.
[11:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: After being on the wrong end of a particularly bad breakup, British TikTok or Katy Burstford decided that rather than just move on, she needed to take revenge.
[11:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How you asked?
[11:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She posted a raw fish through her ex's door, and I just once, every single day.
[11:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who knows how long?
[11:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now we don't know exactly what her ex did, but the sheer level of commitment here does seem a little fishy, doesn't it?
[11:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, I did a little more digging and it turns out that's because it is.
[11:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Katie didn't actually post a fish every day, she just said that for the TikTok Cloud.
[11:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She did post it the once though.
[11:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I guess after that, she realized there's plenty more fish in the sea.
[11:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's a very wise very old saying.
[11:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hmm, how does it go again?
[11:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh yeah, for it's a funny no matter what age you are.
[11:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But they can also be the most horrific things in human can ever experience something Redditor user Ganzo is sexy, knows all too well.
[12:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Ganzo used to work in an office where she got along with almost everyone, apart from one coworker called Jasmine.
[12:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Jasmine would go out of her way to tell Gonzo how much she didn't like her.
[12:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But apparently she was too chubby, too quiet, too everything.
[12:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So one day, in an attempt to make a men's Gonzo Browner a four leaf clover.
[12:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Admittedly, this seems a little odd, but she meant it as a nice gesture.
[12:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Jasmine's response, she had a huge hissy fit in the middle of the office in screen that she's afraid of plans.
[12:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[12:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, that did it for Godzilla.
[12:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It just so happens she has a sensitive stomach and certain foods make her bowels a less than savory.
[12:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So when she got home she ate a load of those exact foods.
[12:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The next day she walked past Jasmine's seat and let out the deadliest stinkyest fart you could imagine.
[12:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and she kept doing it every time she got up, not just for the day, for the whole week.
[13:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Over and over again, she'd lump past and over and over again, she'd launchered destorably bowel bombs, and it was an utter aspocalypse.
[13:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Amazingly Jasmine never once reacted to the onslaught, but Ganzo knew she must have smelled them, it was impossible not to.
[13:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But at this way, by the end of that week, Jasmine certainly didn't smell like flowers.
[13:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nobody likes a thief, but if you've ever shared a college dorm, you'll know there are food these favorite hunting ground.
[13:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But back in twenty sixteen one British student will call Sarah at a particularly bad rooming.
[13:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They wouldn't just steal their food, they'd take a bite or two before putting your food back in the fridge.
[13:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The final straw came when Sarah found a single huge bite taking out of her brand new, block of cheese.
[13:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That was it.
[13:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Seating our wrong dormitory hatched a devious plan to get a revenge.
[14:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Step one, by a takeout pizza.
[14:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Step two, carefully slice off the toppings of a few pizza slices.
[14:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now step three is where it gets interesting and incredibly gross.
[14:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It just so happens that earlier in the day Sarah had spotted a couple of dead lizards on the side of the road near where she lived.
[14:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she went back, picked them up, and while I bet you can guess where she put them.
[14:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Right inside the pizza.
[14:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Heat those bad boys up in the microwave and boom.
[14:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The cheese sealed in our little friends and it was impossible to tell anything was a mess.
[14:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All that was left to do was put the slices in the fridge and wait.
[14:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The next morning Sarah eerily crept down into the kitchen and sure enough there was the pizza box lying open on the counter.
[14:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: One slice had been completely consumed and the second slice was half eaten with a gruesome bit of lizard hanging from one side of it.
[14:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[14:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sarah then posted a note on the fridge with pictures of the entire process revealing to the food thief they'd eaten a dead lizard.
[15:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Man, I don't even know what to say about this one.
[15:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I guess revenge is a dish best served.
[15:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Scaly?
[15:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you've ever been on a busy train, you'll know the importance of securing a seat early on.
[15:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nobody wants to be stood up for a long trip.
[15:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Reddit user Magnus Sporty knew this all too well, so he booked a seat for his four-hour journey from Edinburgh to London well in advance.
[15:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When he boarded his train, however, he realized somebody was sat in a seat.
[15:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And not just any seat.
[15:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I went to a seat with a table.
[15:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm real estate in terms of trains.
[15:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He asked the man to move, but he rudely refused.
[15:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Magnus got the attention of the ticket collector.
[15:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The ticket collector asked the man this time, but again, he refused.
[15:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, what now?
[15:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Ask Magnus?
[15:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The ticket collector shrugged and said, you have to find another seat.
[15:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't move him, and the police won't turn up just to move someone out of the seat.
[15:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This really annoyed Magnus.
[15:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The regular train cars were so full, there weren't any other seats to take.
[16:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he said, I'm going to sit in first class.
[16:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He grabbed his things and made the leave when the ticket collector shouted, you can't do that!
[16:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You don't have a booking for first class.
[16:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well Magnus knew exactly what to say to that.
[16:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hmm, you could call the police, but apparently they won't turn up just to move someone out of the seat.
[16:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And with that he walked off into the first class carriage to Cacid and had one of the best train journeys of his life.
[16:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now that's some first class revenge.
[16:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Whether you're working in an office or studying at school the day-to-day grind can be dull.
[16:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So what better way to spruce things up than with a funny harmless prank?
[16:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But sometimes people take it too far, and when they do they might get something a whole lot worse back in revenge.
[16:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Apparently, according to an old foreign post from two thousand seven, a colleague at a call center stole another worker's precious Twinkie from his lunchbox.
[16:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How did the wrong party respond?
[16:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, they went to great lengths to ensure it never happened again.
[17:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now, by buying a button of Twinkies and filling the offender's entire cubicle with them.
[17:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Of course!
[17:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Damn, it's a work of art.
[17:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: An all honesty though, this entire story is probably fake.
[17:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Real or not though, I definitely wouldn't want to be the victim of this next act of revenge.
[17:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Back in two thousand six Reddit user Steve Heaves was a student in a shared accommodation block which loved to play pranks on the resident advisor.
[17:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: One day they taped a mattress to his door thinking they'd really outdone themselves.
[17:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But the adviser came down later and completely dismissed their prank, calling it lame and saying he'd seen a way worse during his time there.
[17:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Stephen his parents decided this disrespect of their prank would not stand, and so responded with some seriously grotesque retaliation.
[17:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All of them proceeded to shave down there, gathered the trimmings and then stuck the hair on the adviser's door knob.
[17:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When the advisor eventually returned, he grabbed the door knob without looking and most of them came off in his hand.
[18:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I hope that advisor wasn't squeamish because there's not enough therapy in the world that would help me get over touching that very horseshoe.
[18:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nothing annoys me more than people who are rude to customer service staff, and Reddit user appears sniffed my head obviously feels the same way.
[18:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When he saw a couple of middle-aged women mistreating a young Walmart store's system, he went to a whole new level to teach them a lesson.
[18:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The two women were blocking the store's system's way with their grocery laden shopping carts and wouldn't move after being politely as to do so.
[18:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Instead, they sneered down at the younger system and told her to find another way.
[18:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, Bear wasn't gonna stand for that.
[18:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He casually walked over, grabbed one of the snooty women's carts and started running off with it at Bullpelt.
[18:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It took a moment for the woman to react, but then they bolted straight after him.
[18:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: While race ensued with beard-dashing down the aisles and swirving weather shoppers in a bit to escape the enriched women, and he did.
[19:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just as he got to the opposite end of the story, let go turned on his heel and ran back to his own card.
[19:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he didn't stop there, oh no.
[19:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It just so happened that the other woman's card was near his, she'd love to abandon her efforts to give chase.
[19:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Jackpot!
[19:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Beargrad both her card and his own and went off to the camping section, where she'd never think to look.
[19:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then he took some of her groceries, put them in his own card and left hers there.
[19:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He never saw either woman again or the worker he'd had fenced.
[19:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Until about a year later that is,
[19:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Bear was set in a restaurant with his family when he recognized one of the waitresses serving him.
[19:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was the worker for Walmart.
[19:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She recognized him too and excitedly told him what had happened after he'd left that fateful day.
[19:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Apparently, the two rude women had complained to the manager and demanded that Bear be arrested.
[19:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, the worker told her manager what really happened.
[20:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Safe to say, no police were called.
[20:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The two women stormed off in the whole story became Walmart legend.
[20:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So there you have it.
[20:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Respect customer service staff or you'll have your cart stolen by a wild grocery pension vigilante named Bear.
[20:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Probably.
[20:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe.
[20:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They say hell have no fury like a woman scorned, and after hearing the absolutely insane story I'm about to tell you.
[20:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Thank you, Luguri.
[20:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Back in twenty fifteen, Lauren Arnold from Birmingham UK became suspicious when her husband Craig told her he was going away on a two-week business trip to New York.
[20:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The trip itself was an out of the ordinary, but when he told her he seemed nervous as if he was hiding something.
[20:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she took a look at his phone and found out he'd been chatting to a woman over there who was intending to give him a, ah, ah, warm welcome.
[20:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, Laura wasn't gonna let that slide.
[20:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: However, rather than confront her husband, she acted like everything was fine and wished him a good trip as he left.
[21:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: As soon as they parted ways, though, the smile left her face and she jumped in action.
[21:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now because her parents had helped them with the deposit and mortgage for their house and nothing had come from Craig, she didn't need Craig's permission to list it for sale.
[21:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You can probably see where this is going.
[21:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Within the day, Laura had listed their house on a website specializing in selling homes fast.
[21:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and they pulled through.
[21:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Unbelievably, the whole process was over with then two weeks.
[21:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sarah sold a place to be used as a student house, took her things and left, though she made sure to leave all of her husband's possessions in there, included as pictures and fittings.
[21:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When Craig returned from his business trip, he got the shock of a lifetime.
[21:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: His key didn't fit in the lock and after ringing the doorbell, he was greeted by a group of fresh face students.
[21:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No amount of confused arguing could achieve anything.
[21:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The papers were signed and the legalities were all sorted.
[21:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What happened next is meant kept quiet, though I imagine there was an incredibly heated phone call between the unhappy married couple.
[22:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: As for Sarah's final words on the matter, simply, things aren't great between us at the moment.
[22:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Haha, yeah, I bet.
[22:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Thanks for listening to the podcast, we'll see you again next time you want to be amazed.
