This week on WAW PoliTricks, we tackle the tough questions around Heritage Day and whether museums can really be “decolonised” in a country still governed by colonial-era laws, where the majority remain landless and poor. We also break down: 🇿🇦 President Ramaphosa’s address to the UNGA — global statesman or empty promises? 🇲🇼 Peter Mutharika’s election win at age 85 — renewal or recycling in Southern Africa? ⚖️ The latest twists at the Mdlanga Commission. 💎 Botswana’s bold move to secure a majority stake in De Beers. 🟢 Patriotic Alliance threatening to walk away from the GNU — coalition stability at risk? 🗿 Plus: the Paul Kruger statue debate — heritage or humiliation? Join the conversation as we cut through the spin with fresh analysis, sharp takes, and a bit of satire. 👉 Drop your views in the comments — Should Paul Kruger’s statue still stand? Is PA bluffing about the GNU? Would you trust an 85-year-old president? Thank you for watching, please subscribe to support the channel.
