Welcome to "Table Read: VS"—a no-holds-barred thrill ride of pure mayhem that’s Saw meets Gladiator, but with a side of nerdy Silicon Valley and more twists than a lower intestine! This time, we’re serving up Versus, a script from Scott Sigler, the New York Times bestselling horror author who clearly woke up and chose violence—and I mean that in the most lovingly brutal way possible. Picture this: 16 average Joes, kidnapped and thrown into a death tournament that’s so twisted, you’ll need a chiropractor. It’s not just fight or flight; it's fight or funeral, and it’s all streamed live on the dark web for a cool million per ticket. Baseball bats, lead pipes, and even chicken scissors (yeah, you read that right) are up for grabs as they hack and slash their way through more bloody betrayals than a Shakespearean tragedy. Add in a relentless billionaire puppet master, a cast of killers, and $58 million worth of shady deals. Oh, and did I mention the blood? Enough to fill a swimming pool. Twice. We’ve got a script read that’ll knock your socks off faster than a taser shock to the neck. Your hosts? Some of Hollywood's finest, breathing life (and death) into this script like a roundhouse kick to the face. And just when you think you know what’s coming? Boom—another twist, sharper than those hedge shears they’re swinging. Versus is not for the faint-hearted. If you're into "Will they survive, or will they end up in a body bag?" this is your jam. In this tournament, it’s not about who’s the strongest—it’s about who’s twisted enough to survive. Ready for the carnage? Let’s roll. Big thanks to Mood.com our partner in high vibes.
