[0:01] Welcome to. Are you quizzing me?
[0:03] I'm very tired with my co-host, Aditya kashyap.
[0:06] This is a quizzing trivia podcast show, where we ask each
[0:09] other questions, and share what we know and learn with you,
[0:12] though, in a quizzing format, it's not competitive.
[0:14] The questions are simply a way of sharing, our love of trivia.
[0:17] So sit back, relax and join us as we explore the depths of
[0:20] human knowledge. Here's the format, we ask each
[0:23] other questions alternatingly as many as time permits while
[0:26] giving as many Clues as needed to help each other get to The
[0:30] answer. Let's get quizzing.
[0:36] Another day, another episode or for you, Stephen King fans are
[0:40] there ssdd. If you don't know what that
[0:44] means, go Google that. Before we start off today's
[0:47] episode, as usual as per tradition, Aditya has a question
[0:53] that he needs that we need answered, so, the yeah, yeah,
[0:58] that I did ask a question in the last episode, which was about
[1:04] the Indian inventor who Aimed a particular garment after his
[1:08] favorite drink, he was out to this friend then he in that,
[1:13] yes, yes, you're familiar with the fake mythology, just to
[1:18] clarify, it is completely made up, so it is the Dorothy.
[1:26] So here's that this friend, and he wanted order to tease and he
[1:30] said though, T, and that's how those he was.
[1:36] For all those people who don't speak Hindi, that was just a
[1:41] terrible terrible pun. Because, though, in Hindi means
[1:45] to, to, yeah, that is I'm speechless.
[1:50] I have no words. I have too much importance to
[1:55] real facts on this podcast and yes, yes, say that fake facts
[2:00] also have their audience. Fake news, fake news.
[2:03] You heard it here. Fake news.
[2:05] So So I did. Yeah why don't you start us off
[2:08] this week? This is a list that I am going
[2:11] to Omit or at the okay let's do it this way.
[2:16] I'm going to start naming items on this list from number 10 all
[2:21] the way to number 1, Stop me when you've figured out what's
[2:24] list is for. Okay, okay, so at number 10,
[2:28] it's Singapore. Number 9 Hong Kong.
[2:33] Number 8, Switzerland 7 is United Kingdom.
[2:38] Six is United States. Five is Spain for is Germany.
[2:44] Should I go on the three? Two, one, one.
[2:47] Yeah, because I have absolutely no clue what this could be about
[2:50] anything. It is, it is a between between
[2:52] let me actually go back to number 10, and let me give you
[2:54] the associated little, okay, number with it, okay?
[3:00] So number 10 was Singapore, huh? G9 at 59, Hong Kong is at 103.
[3:08] And as it is at hundred and forty-one.
[3:11] United Kingdom is at $200 39. Spain 281 Germany. 388 Italy,
[3:26] 432, Japan 544. Before I reveal number one, Do
[3:36] you want to give a guess we need?
[3:41] I don't know. I mean you mentioned the US
[3:45] pretty high up high and Switzerland.
[3:48] My mind, did we go to guns or you know, I'm in addition ROMs
[3:54] in the among the population. Then the other guess I would
[3:57] ever be population density. But again, that's to know, I
[4:01] don't think Switzerland is very pop.
[4:02] Densely populated, I'm pretty sure.
[4:05] Singapore, I have a very low in the world.
[4:08] Yeah. Very low, very know, it was Hong
[4:09] Kong, that kind of caught that okay.
[4:12] Now, so, it's not that it's not the guns, right?
[4:15] It's not the gun saying, oh, it's definitely not the guns
[4:18] now. And mu s is by far number one.
[4:22] Yeah, Yeah. By that are number one, but also
[4:25] United States is cannot be numbered, but I think if you
[4:28] take per capita, I think Switzerland has had the highest
[4:31] per capita, right? Oh, perhaps, I that I will have
[4:35] to check. At as far as in any of that is
[4:39] not related to guns in any way and the numbers are absolute
[4:43] over so it is it has nothing to it's not 59 thousand or million
[4:50] or anything like that. It's just 1599 exactly.
[4:54] Singapore was 59. 59 Hong Kong 103, Susan 141, United Kingdom,
[4:59] 200 US 239. Spain, 281 Germany. 388 8432,
[5:04] Japan 54. T4 devour me to reveal 239.
[5:08] Is Edna to? The real has u.s.
[5:12] Is this a time-related? I mean like would this list
[5:15] change next year? It might.
[5:18] Yes, it might. Okay.
[5:20] Might not will not necessarily. Okay.
[5:25] Hmm. And anyway, you haven't Germany
[5:28] is too high up on the list because I was initially thinking
[5:30] maybe the number of years since Independence or something like
[5:34] that, but Okay. Now, what?
[5:37] Germany is too high up on the list.
[5:38] Germany's a recent nation and Hong Kong 803.
[5:42] Also? Yeah, yeah.
[5:43] The no, it's not so bad being number 201, make sense.
[5:46] Yeah. Yeah, definitely not.
[5:48] Yeah, dude, I'm completely clueless.
[5:52] Okay, so I have a number. 1 0 direction to go.
[5:54] France by a large margin, 758. It's not border right now.
[6:00] It's not boarded. It's not bother since it's not
[6:04] borders. France.
[6:06] What is France? Have 758 of?
[6:10] Nope. Nothing Ira.
[6:13] I don't even know where to go with this.
[6:16] So, this list goes on and I believe it ends at age 30 and 30
[6:21] is the lowest is 30, is San Marino and Iceland both that
[6:26] one. It is predominantly Europe.
[6:32] There is some North American representation and okay, slight
[6:38] bit of Asian representation though.
[6:41] Very minimal. No African representation at all
[6:45] in this and leave. No, South American
[6:49] representation right now. Something is restricted to Asia,
[6:53] Europe? Put it on North America.
[6:56] It is predominantly or a lot of Europe.
[7:01] Some of Asia's, some of North America.
[7:04] Hmm. This snow dates back to 1902 the
[7:11] early 1980s. Back to the early 1900's easier
[7:16] would have entered this list pretty recently.
[7:19] So 1900 exactly actually. Okay, and this number was the
[7:25] same in 1900 as it now, as it is now.
[7:29] No, no it hasn't. It has changed dramatically
[7:31] since then back then it was ice scrapers.
[7:35] No no, no. In China would be on the list.
[7:38] Absolutely back. Then it would have been maybe 11
[7:43] or two. Yeah, I mean like in the u.s. in
[7:47] the mid 20s, right? Yeah.
[7:52] Mama. No, no good.
[7:54] Okay, let me see if I can guide you anywhere closer to this
[7:58] think, bibendum, what does the word depend mm mean.
[8:04] Anything to, you know, frankly, I would be have to say.
[8:10] I have that's the first time I'm hearing about lab.
[8:12] How do you spell that bi d e ND um, dumn bibendum bibendum?
[8:20] Is a very famous mascot. Perpend a very famous mascot.
[8:28] Wait, you said fans had number one.
[8:31] Yeah. Michelin restaurants.
[8:36] There is the and so those are good for well done.
[8:39] Well done man. Okay yeah okay yeah sure yes yes
[8:48] now it makes yeah it makes perfect sense.
[8:50] Yeah France. France is at number one and six.
[8:53] Led by a large luck - that's the one.
[8:57] It was a very recently entered this.
[9:00] Yes Singapore. I think is one of the few
[9:02] countries which is Hawkers with Michelin stars.
[9:06] Yeah. And some really good place, they
[9:09] should have tried some of them and very, very deserving of
[9:12] their recognition, but nothing from India, is there are no mr.
[9:17] No, no, not a single Indian stuff we have michelin-starred
[9:22] Indian chef But no machinist and Indian restaurants in India.
[9:28] Perhaps, Perhaps these chefs would have had the restaurants
[9:31] machine? Yeah, they ever had?
[9:32] Yeah, they have had restaurants in southeast Asia in England
[9:37] where they have themselves been awarded meshlab has stars, but
[9:41] not in in, yeah, I'm pretty sure gun almond has measurements.
[9:45] Yes, but latest host of MasterChef India.
[9:50] The lady Motors I I forget her name.
[9:54] We shall We? Shall We Shall spend it out.
[9:57] Yeah. She's also a Michelin star
[9:59] restaurant. Michelin-starred Chef.
[10:02] Okay. That was a, that was a good
[10:04] show. Yes.
[10:06] Yes. I should have cracked that a
[10:08] little earlier defiantly. I'm really, I thought I bet is
[10:12] France at the end. It would, it would be interested
[10:16] in Click for me at the time. But yeah, okay, no, ice.
[10:20] Okay, next one. This product was originally sold
[10:25] in, discarded: bottles, it is prepared and aged 43 years in
[10:33] White Oak. Barrels previously, filled with
[10:37] Jack, Daniel's Tennessee, whiskey.
[10:39] It's available in 195 countries, it's been used on Air Force One.
[10:47] And even if you have the space shuttles, it is so beloved that
[10:52] it has even inspired and Opera. What am I talking about?
[10:57] It is made in Jack, Daniel bottles and then it's prepared
[11:02] and then aged in Oak barrels, which previously held Jack,
[11:08] Daniels, whiskey God, Carla, Carla.
[11:11] So basically barrels that they've used to aged whiskey
[11:16] once there Done with that. They use it to age this product
[11:20] and it's available in 195 countries, which makes it more
[11:26] ubiquitous than McDonald's. True, true true.
[11:30] And you said, it used to be sold in colonial.
[11:36] It was originally originally when the product was first,
[11:39] yeah, it was sold in: bottles. Who's gonna ask for something?
[11:45] Very generic is it. Liquid or sorts?
[11:49] Yes, it is a liquid. It is a liquid, it is on Air
[11:54] Force One, and it has been used. I am just see, that's an
[11:58] example, kind of, you know, thing, which have given for the
[12:02] sake of, you know, effect is the hand sanitizer.
[12:10] No, it's not a hand sanitizer. It's so beloved that it even
[12:14] inspired and Opera, oh yeah, there is an opera bit.
[12:18] What? What?
[12:23] Liquid? That is it, is it a type of
[12:27] alcohol? No, okay, some sort of a room
[12:34] freshener. No, no, no dude, some it's like
[12:39] we're talking about something that's available in 195.
[12:42] Countries becoming room freshener.
[12:45] It's a specific thing. It's not very specific, it's not
[12:49] genetic, it's very specific. Obviously it's a Two particular
[12:53] brand. I'm talking about here.
[12:55] There's a brand name that's involved and don't think that
[12:59] any operas Woodrum pressure than he is what brand?
[13:07] Okay, give me something. Give me a hint.
[13:10] I'm not. Okay.
[13:12] It was I think the product was first marketed in 1868.
[13:21] And said Opera was first performed in 1894.
[13:27] Okay. And it's still available.
[13:30] It's You definitely know it. Okay, I'll tell you what
[13:36] category of things it belongs to at least that I think will bring
[13:39] you closer. It's a food item or thank God.
[13:42] You said that colors is considered on.
[13:48] Yeah, it's a good guess. Yeah, I mean, like, it does make
[13:52] sense but not so difficult. Okay.
[13:56] Hmm. It's a food item.
[14:00] Yes, what is so ubiquitous It is 195 countries, I got think of
[14:04] single thing which is that it be kotas.
[14:07] Is it an India? As please tell me India's one of
[14:09] those 095? Yes, yes, you do get it in
[14:11] India. You don't get it everywhere in
[14:13] India but yes. Metro cities in all you do like
[14:17] you go to a supermarket and a good Metro City.
[14:19] There's a good chance. We'll get it there.
[14:22] I've seen this in some of the supermarket's here in Goa.
[14:25] So, wow, 195, countries, insane for any one brand to be in.
[14:33] Yes, that's a massive, massive market.
[14:36] And it's been used on Air Force One, if you the space shuttles,
[14:43] Little type of oil am I some? No not annoyed.
[14:47] Okay, I will I will kind of narrow down the category for
[14:50] you. It's a condiment or just going
[14:53] to say is. Is it a ketchup visit?
[14:55] Is it a sauce ketchup? Ketchup.
[14:56] So thing, which it's not catchy, but you are close, it's not
[15:01] ketchup. Not catch up, it's not ketchup,
[15:04] but it's in the same thing. So you would add ketchup and
[15:07] this when you're making a sandwich Muniz, Mustard.
[15:13] Not met or not met. Oh, let's go.
[15:15] What it is, what it is. No, I really didn't have the
[15:18] same kind of effect as mustard, but it's very not catch up, not
[15:23] met or not mastered. I would feel if I don't, I'll do
[15:29] the only thing I put on my sandwich beneath, okay?
[15:32] Okay, let's see how you doing to us and, which is, but let me,
[15:37] let me see, is it Tabasco? It is Tabasco sauce.
[15:40] It is Tabasco sauce. So, it used to be given a please
[15:50] tell me more. Okay, so this as I mentioned,
[15:53] originally marketed in 1868, it is available in so many
[15:58] different countries originally sold in discarded cologne
[16:00] bottles. And after that, they made the
[16:02] very classic, you know, bottle shape that we know now and it is
[16:07] aged in, you know, barrels which you earlier used to have Jack
[16:11] Daniels whiskey in it. The original Tabasco sauce on
[16:14] had only three ingredients. I'm not sure about what the
[16:17] current ingredient list looks like.
[16:20] And as for the Opera, okay, it was originally performed in
[16:25] 1894. And it's basically it's a
[16:29] tongue-in-cheek production which tells the story of a grand
[16:32] Parsha who sees red when his personal chef prepares a very
[16:37] boring dish and the solution the passcode sauce.
[16:44] So this is originally performed in 1894 and the New Orleans
[16:49] Opera. Revived it it's called Tabasco a
[16:53] burlesque Opera. Written by George W Chadwick and
[16:58] they had a revived Revival done in 2018 to celebrate the upper
[17:03] Association 75th season and tabasco's 150th birthday and was
[17:10] commissioned by any way, by the. I must not sure.
[17:14] This is 1894. So I'm not sure whether somebody
[17:17] could they commissioned, it wasn't a marketing technique.
[17:19] But, you know, I came to know about because of the Revival and
[17:23] when you first read this, As an opera to dedicate it to our
[17:27] tabletop, condiment that, that if anything, that is a very,
[17:32] very misleading. Kind of a clue was I don't think
[17:36] your uncle has ever heard of it. You would ever guess that
[17:38] Tabasco, as an opera. Hmm.
[17:41] True drozd in its owner but that's, that's wonderful, piece
[17:44] of trivia. I'm gonna remember that.
[17:48] Okay? You gotta, since we were talking
[17:53] about, A company that is very, very easily found across the
[17:59] world. Okay, this particular question
[18:02] actually is very short. Uh-huh.
[18:06] But the first time I heard it, it really blew my mind.
[18:09] Okay, what does the Japanese company uchida?
[18:14] Kogyo kabushiki. Make a sorry, let me get
[18:18] actually. It's Yoshida, kogyo kabushiki
[18:21] kaisha from Yoshida. I'm butchering this.
[18:27] I'm sorry if she not learn this until unless, you know,
[18:30] Japanese. I don't think the name would
[18:31] make much of a difference anyway, you know, I don't know
[18:33] Japanese. I'm just trying to translate
[18:35] some Yoshida Manufacturing Corporation but in Japanese it
[18:40] will be Yoshida. Kogyo kabushiki kaisha Geisha
[18:45] isn't okay sure. No no I'm not that case you know
[18:50] GA is Okay, no dude. I've never heard.
[18:56] I'm like, it doesn't ring any bells.
[18:59] Okay, it's it basically is the acronym YKK.
[19:05] Okay, you'll see it everywhere. You'll see it everywhere.
[19:10] Everybody has seen it in their life, or should have seen it.
[19:15] Maybe they haven't paid attention, but she okay II.
[19:18] Don't know if it's the same thing, but this is the company
[19:22] that has the Monopoly on zippers.
[19:26] Wonderful, wonderful guest right on the mark it is Waikiki, which
[19:30] has okay. It doesn't have a monopoly but
[19:34] they had a produced like a the world of majority.
[19:37] I thought of something else have the zippers made in the world
[19:40] are by YKK, not close to close to half the zippers made.
[19:45] And the first time I heard it was in a quiz as well.
[19:49] And I remember looking down at her pants and it was right big
[19:51] American to a friend and it was like a cat Jesus wearing like
[19:58] these jeans and these pants for ages and nobody ever paid
[20:01] attention to the zipper. The thing is I've heard this
[20:05] trivia before I've read it before, but my problem is now, I
[20:08] can never remember these names. Then you said YKK something
[20:13] clicked? Yeah, here it.
[20:14] If you hadn't told me why you kick a few told me Yoshida
[20:17] again, I forgot my I've already forgotten it, it is Japanese, I
[20:22] wouldn't expect. I myself would not remember,
[20:24] This but is the YKK which sticks with me.
[20:28] Yeah, that's a good little. That's a great question.
[20:32] Wait. So for anybody listening, this
[20:34] was a question just for you to at this point wherever you are.
[20:37] Look down at your zipper if you have one and hopefully have here
[20:41] wearing white cake, a fun little experiment.
[20:45] Yeah, okay, so I'm going to go to Harry Potter.
[20:50] We haven't had any literature questions in some time.
[20:53] So we're going to go. To Harry Potter.
[20:55] So in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, When mr.
[21:00] Weasley escorts Harry to his hearing, and the ministry of
[21:04] magic, they arrived at the ministry through the visitors
[21:07] entrance, which is a broken phone booth, if you remember.
[21:12] Okay, are already smiling? I guess, you know what this is.
[21:16] Okay, well I'm going to just repeat the crime.
[21:17] Going to finish the question for the sake of the audience.
[21:20] Yeah, so mr. Weasley dials 6 to 4 4 to on the
[21:26] broken phone and the booth slides and background. and, So,
[21:30] the question is, why does he type in 6 to 4, 4 to lovely,
[21:37] lovely? Little piece of trivia.
[21:38] It spells out magic in the actually, tune with their name
[21:42] for it on the old key pads on the phone.
[21:44] And those are 49 keypads T9 formats called healthy nine
[21:47] format. That's the naming convention.
[21:49] And it's magic is spelled out by that number.
[21:52] So yeah. So if any of our listeners are
[21:55] old enough to remember the time, when mobile phones had Keypads
[22:01] when you had to type out SMS is with groups of letters being
[22:05] coded to a single number. So in that T9 format, please, I
[22:11] don't want to date myself more than this.
[22:13] Just Google it please. So it spells, how the number
[22:16] six, two, four, four, two spells out magic in the old mobile T9
[22:20] format at the moment. You smiled, like, halfway
[22:24] through the question. I could see you smiling.
[22:26] And I knew, okay, he knows this. Attention to detail with these
[22:39] small things. Not cannot deny it at all.
[22:42] It is and I actually give it away.
[22:45] I mean it's not even I'm pretty sure you know it and it's not
[22:47] that. That much of a rare informations
[22:52] Alice, ate the mirror of arise. It was just desire.
[22:56] Desire for a backwards? Yeah.
[22:58] Like the this will work within the almost evokes.
[23:01] A mirror image of it. I guess.
[23:04] Absolutely g - yeah. Okay, so you're done.
[23:10] Okay. I'm going to name a few titles.
[23:17] Tell me where they're from. Okay.
[23:20] Okay. The intimidation game Rory's.
[23:25] First, kiss Magnus, Rex these three then double agent
[23:31] imitation game. The intimidation game.
[23:34] Rory's, first, guess Magnus, Rex Magnus re6?
[23:40] Why does that sound familiar? Yeah.
[23:44] Any clues? No, no.
[23:48] Okay, I'll actually go further and so these three can be
[23:52] considered as subgroup of as such, but let me give you more
[23:56] in this General. Can't wait, wait, wait one
[23:59] second, one second before. Is this kind of those kind of
[24:01] spoof movies? The intimidation game is a spoof
[24:05] of the imitation game. Is it something like that?
[24:09] Yes, I am. They make these, you know, spoof
[24:11] know. There's no, no, it is not.
[24:13] Those are great. I'm a big fan.
[24:15] But through this, unfortunately, I am not able to stand any of
[24:20] those. Okay.
[24:22] Maybe. I haven't washed them in
[24:23] Geelong. The last one, I was more than
[24:25] ten years ago. I remember thinking it is just
[24:27] hilarious and back then I would have to say my my sense of humor
[24:31] was very give you each one of those movies.
[24:35] You can you cannot watch soba, Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps, Yeah.
[24:42] Okay let me give you a few more climate.
[24:45] Okay, this is not a complete list.
[24:48] So consider that a small little, these three I'll come back to
[24:51] later, but the general category I will give you some more, okay,
[24:55] Planet eyes, how the solar system was one?
[25:02] Okay, everybody comes to Rick's, everybody comes to Rick's a
[25:09] boy's life. Okay, changing seasons.
[25:15] You know what? I'll stop here.
[25:16] There are lot, many there, a lot when he more, but I'm gonna Wait
[25:24] for you to try to guess everybody comes to Rick's Emily.
[25:29] This is movie-related am I close to a thing with some thinking is
[25:33] why? I I was inclined to say that.
[25:36] Yeah, it is not quite there but you are getting your pretty
[25:39] warm. Okay, because everybody comes to
[25:43] Rick's reminds me of Casablanca. The intimidation game reminds me
[25:48] of You know, the imitation game. Obviously, I don't know.
[25:56] For some, I'm okay, everyone comes to Rick's.
[25:59] Everyone comes to Rick's. Does it have a Casablanca
[26:02] connector my clothes on that? Oh, yes.
[26:04] You are. Absolutely, absolutely there.
[26:06] Even everybody comes to Rick's here, are these sequins are like
[26:11] unauthorized sequence, okay? They're not spoofs, they're not
[26:21] sequels. They're very similar and have
[26:24] connects to Classic Movies Do Androids, Dream of Electric
[26:29] Sheep. Wait, that's Phillip.
[26:31] K textbook with is Do Androids. Dream of Electric Sheep.
[26:35] That's the source for weight. Which movie did they make 100 -
[26:41] Wait? That's has that been made into a
[26:43] movie? I can't remember. yes, but
[26:47] that's a Android. Okay.
[26:50] Now I had now. Okay, now, okay wait, are these
[26:52] the books Behind movies? No, no, no.
[26:56] It is. Okay, okay.
[27:00] Now I can't think of anything except that Philip k--,
[27:01] textbook. More books have been made into a
[27:03] gazillion movies to Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.
[27:06] I think that's Total Recall. It's not illegal.
[27:10] Now it's our Total Recall. No, okay, I should know this.
[27:15] I've read Philip kids books, really?
[27:25] And this question is related to film, but it doesn't have to do
[27:31] with books being a source material, anything in that
[27:34] particular Visionary. Okay.
[27:36] Nothing to do with silica Philip Carey guided.
[27:38] No nothing to do with Philip K dick specifically.
[27:40] I've been, yes, I need a clue. I'm sorry.
[27:45] I'm completely blanking. Snakes on a Plane is is
[27:51] something that used to be used to be under this category, okay?
[27:58] And I guess migrated over to being oh man I don't know how
[28:04] else to phrase is Yes, Nate sock may wait wait wait are these?
[28:11] No no this can't be movies that were originally called like the
[28:16] worst movies of the year or something that they've been
[28:18] Razzie Awards or something. You almost said the answer,
[28:26] okay, at least we like movies which are at one point.
[28:28] Okay. Wait is what is that movie
[28:32] called? Planet nine, is that on the
[28:35] list? Land ice, no Paradise.
[28:39] Okay. Worst movies ever but the bad
[28:42] movie list. There's some case I've okay, I'm
[28:45] just guessing sort of list, it's all a list of per se.
[28:50] Let's say all of these are really, really big.
[28:53] Movies are these big, long movies, like really, really
[28:57] long. That's not be in this in so long
[28:59] but begin. Okay, to let go.
[29:05] Snakes on a Plane is not a long movie.
[29:08] Yeah, not long like that. I just meant like big like, oh,
[29:11] these are perhaps good. Would get too much attention?
[29:17] Okay. Should I should I yeah, you'll
[29:21] have to give it to him. I can't think of a good.
[29:25] I want to give you a good to who.
[29:31] Wait, Do Androids? Dream of Electric Sheep was
[29:34] Blade Runner, right? It is good for you.
[29:37] Yeah. It is greater than 0.
[29:39] It is Blade Runner. Yeah, it is.
[29:44] No, wait Snakes on a Plane is not post-apocalyptic.
[29:50] Okay, I'm just a big budget, Hollywood.
[29:54] Mostly Hollywood it. I think all of these are okay.
[29:57] Are these movies which were made on huge budgets and then flopped
[30:00] really badly. I'm pretty sure the glitter, but
[30:07] yeah. Don't want it wasn't a hate when
[30:09] it came out. It became a cult classic later,
[30:15] okay? Now, I've given up just just
[30:17] puts me out of my misery, okay? These are all working titles for
[30:23] other, the big production rule, the big movies, that production
[30:27] of Steel making, oh, okay. Okay, makes on the plane was
[30:34] though a production title and Samuel L Jackson insisted on.
[30:38] On the movie being called it also because it will change to
[30:41] Pacific Air flight 121. Several Jackson is like, let's
[30:45] not this movie is very straightforward, let's just call
[30:49] it Snakes on a Plane. It's totally working six.
[30:53] Okay, so the others are for the intimidation game.
[30:57] Rory's first, kids and Magnus, Rex, if you're okay, Batman fan,
[31:02] you would know these are Batman Begins, Dark Knight and the Dark
[31:04] Knight Rises. Okay, Rory, Magnets are
[31:09] Christopher Nolan Sons so kind of his own Sons.
[31:14] I am through quite a long list and let me see which ones I say
[31:20] Planet Ice is Titanic. So James Cameron was going
[31:24] around shooting icebergs of the coast of Nova Scotia and he said
[31:29] he's making a film called Planet eyes and people would believe
[31:33] that well at least that's what his attempt was.
[31:39] How the solar system was one is 2001 A Space Odyssey?
[31:45] Okay. It's like sense.
[31:46] Makes sense really walking diapers?
[31:50] I am, okay, I'm still exist Casablanca group hug is
[31:53] Avengers, okay. These are the ones that I
[31:58] mentioned. I'm actually a piece of trivia
[32:01] here. I don't know, it's not trivial
[32:02] press a button. Rrr would also be on this list,
[32:06] are the results going to? Yeah, it was.
[32:08] It's a working title, which eventually it was a working
[32:10] title, because they were originally, planning is going to
[32:12] be ramjarin. Yeah, Junior, NTR and Raj Raj
[32:18] mallya coming together. So, the production title was rrr
[32:21] but because that went so viral, then they kind of shoehorned
[32:25] this rise row rewarding into it so that they can make sense of
[32:29] it. I can't, I can't fault them for
[32:33] that. It is, and it's worked out
[32:36] pretty well for them. Good for them, good for that.
[32:39] Yeah. Yeah.
[32:40] And whatever else I mention, I don't know how many else I
[32:43] mention but almost every big famous movie when they don't
[32:46] want them. And when Droid was Blade Runner
[32:48] itself, right? It is greater than as actually.
[32:54] A lot of fun ones. Basic Instinct is Love Hurts.
[33:00] Ooooo Breakfast Club was actually Lunch.
[33:03] Bunch. Some fund and that's that's one
[33:08] of my that that was one of my favorite movies.
[33:10] Growing Up The Breakfast Club Basic Instinct.
[33:13] Oh no, I'm talking about The Breakfast Club.
[33:16] Filthy, mind busy. Okay.
[33:26] All right. I'm going to Pivot a little bit.
[33:31] Have you heard of my three? My three is.
[33:37] Yes. Not just the name of this lie.
[33:39] Basically, my three is the name given to India's permanent
[33:43] research station in Antarctica, okay?
[33:48] So that's India's permanent research station in Ankara in
[33:51] Antarctica. So as you know, and tactical
[33:53] this famously a treaty where no one country can have dominion
[33:57] over the continent. Right?
[34:00] So every governmental or private structure.
[34:04] That is the air has to use the Postal Services of other private
[34:09] Postal Service. Our government, postal service's
[34:11] of different countries for post to get there.
[34:16] Okay, I can see you smiling. I think, you know where this is
[34:18] going. I, I think I know the series,
[34:22] but please go on. Okay, so so for example, if you
[34:26] wanted to send something to my tree, The, which is India's
[34:30] permanent research station in Antarctica, you would have to
[34:33] send it through India post. Right?
[34:36] So, the simple question is, which pin code?
[34:39] Would you use? Oh, okay.
[34:41] No, then I do not know anything about Civic.
[34:44] Okay, so what would be the PIN code for you to send a letter to
[34:50] Antarctica? Specifically to invite three
[34:52] India's permanent research station?
[34:56] I don't, I mean, even if you don't tell me what the PIN code,
[34:59] Odd number is, if you can tell me what the post office name is
[35:04] that will be fine. Okay, so there's a name also,
[35:07] post office. Yes.
[35:10] Yeah, is the all PIN codes are associated with the particular
[35:13] post office, right? Or more than one sometimes.
[35:20] I'm trying to think of Famous gold places from Indian
[35:25] mythology, I would advise you to work it the other way around,
[35:33] okay? Like literally, there is a
[35:34] letter that has to go to a particular pin code for it to
[35:38] reach Antarctica, right? So where would the letter go?
[35:41] How would it know themselves and get that?
[35:43] So it literally has to go to Antarctica.
[35:46] Okay. So maybe I'm a maybe.
[35:47] My question was Briggs. Oh, so is it the southernmost?
[35:53] Port not in India. No, no, no, no.
[35:56] Okay. I'm just saying so the Delhi
[36:01] airport. No, that's a good guess.
[36:04] But no, I'm going to say Mumbai Port.
[36:14] Very good guess. But no, oh, boy, else.
[36:19] Do we have connections to enter the from?
[36:22] I would Dressed right now. I have no idea.
[36:25] It'll give me some sort of you. I would advise you to think.
[36:30] If you have like this is again, depending that you may know
[36:34] where the, you know, the national Center for Porter and I
[36:39] ocean research is located, give me the state, I'll give it to
[36:46] you. If you can give me the state
[36:48] that she's in for Polar and I see research.
[36:53] Would be, it would be absolutely hilarious.
[36:55] If it is like something a Rajasthan has come to, it is
[36:59] kind of ironic that way. So no honey.
[37:10] Then let's guess. Kerala Kerala.
[37:13] No. Tamil Nadu, I'm just gonna start
[37:17] naming his ideological guess is to make sure.
[37:20] Okay, okay, let me just put this, give you the answer.
[37:23] You can give me your answer. It's go up.
[37:27] Ah you know what it is about me. Headfirst it deep and Jim had
[37:41] post office in code. Number 4, 0 3, 0 0 1.
[37:48] My trees post office, comes under the Aegis of the north
[37:50] were a postal division because go is the home of the national
[37:55] Center for border and ocean research, as well as the CSI,
[37:58] our national interest, for oceanography social, any letters
[38:03] that have to come have to go to Antarctica.
[38:05] You actually have to send to Sonny Goa.
[38:08] I think that the like there isn't any other place in India,
[38:11] which is maybe like the polar opposite of what Antarctica is
[38:17] You may, you may argue that Rajasthan would be more of a
[38:20] polar opposite, but I contend that Antarctica is a desert.
[38:25] Yeah, probably, probably. That makes more sense and Son.
[38:28] Yes, pretty cold. I doubt.
[38:30] Go all gets that cold ever. So, not just that the Rajasthan
[38:33] is a desert, right? Like most of our son is Desert.
[38:37] Antarctica is also a desert even though it's got a nice, it's a
[38:40] desert because it doesn't receive rainfall This also
[38:49] applies to what happens if I want to send the letter to
[38:52] Indian Navy. Like I don't know so the
[38:56] military has their own Postal Service.
[38:58] They have their own pin code numbers, so the military have
[39:04] their own pin code numbers and then there are PIN codes for
[39:07] different states divided based on geographical location.
[39:12] And then there are specific ones, which go to, which attack
[39:16] to specific services like this. So what do you say oceanography?
[39:21] So like, if there is a Indian vessel doing scientific
[39:25] exploration for if it's, if it comes up to the edges of the
[39:28] yes, that yes. But if it comes under the Aegis
[39:30] of the Navy, it would be through the military service, called
[39:35] genius. If I came to know from this
[39:36] because notice from the gore tourism board, they Put up a
[39:42] post on Facebook saying that if you want to send a letter to
[39:45] Aunt Antarctica, you can send it here, just just get some fan
[39:51] mail, I guess. Yeah, lovely.
[39:55] Okay, great question, huh? Speaking of iconic places?
[40:04] Okay, what does this iconic Place lend its name to in the
[40:10] present day? The place is present-day
[40:15] pronunciation would be J. Jackie Moore of jacimo jacimo.
[40:25] I think I'm can you spell that this is j.a. chy mov.
[40:31] Jack, seemed object to move something on this guy.
[40:34] She is CH y. Wavy.
[40:40] It is in check. Republic.
[40:42] It is a very small spot out. It has like two thousand three
[40:46] hundred and Advocates. So it is a very tiny town, but
[40:51] and it's given its name to something something.
[40:55] Yes, this is my etymology question of the day.
[40:58] And as usual, yeah, you have to put one in.
[41:03] Yeah. And it is something everybody
[41:07] has heard of most, okay? Probably used, or encountered,
[41:13] at some point, a lot of people have used uncounted, let's say
[41:16] that everybody's out of it, okay.
[41:20] Jacimo jacimo of, I'm tempted to give quite rude answer to that
[41:27] but no, no. Google.
[41:35] Is that it? I'm probably mispronouncing It.
[41:38] Anyways, let me tell about its name used to be so, okay,
[41:43] that's, that's where the origin come on, time for the.
[41:48] Yeah. Okay.
[41:49] Because they close to the current name.
[41:51] It is chewing can install dragons Town jerk kimchi does Jo
[42:01] Jo ACH is th Jael Joakim, say install, Jo ACH, I am, do we see
[42:13] hims DHL, that's modeling, right?
[42:18] Okay. Yeah.
[42:19] Cheering. Yeah, what keemstar?
[42:22] Well, I guess, I don't know. I'm just guessing, maybe it's
[42:26] not ABS, Perhaps it is the kingdom of bohemia.
[42:30] And this was I'm talking in the 16th century.
[42:33] And it's given its name to something, something that we all
[42:39] know about. Oh, yes, 100%.
[42:43] Is it, is it that it's famous for something or is it that gave
[42:46] it name to something? Is this because I'm thinking, is
[42:50] this that German or Bohemian Crown, which is famous for snow
[42:55] globes? No, no, that's not it.
[42:57] No, that's not. That's not.
[43:00] It was famous for something. It was Actually, the second most
[43:06] populous town in the Kingdom of bohemia, and that particular
[43:11] activity is the reason why that demolish he exists, it's no
[43:16] longer related. It doesn't have any bearing on
[43:21] connection anymore, but let him ology comes from there.
[43:26] Okay. Trying to think of European
[43:29] towns and etymology. It has a very A long mining
[43:34] tradition this away it is is a no but that's a Belgian town,
[43:39] right? The one will spark comes from or
[43:43] no. No, it doesn't have anything to
[43:45] do with Spas, okay, it's just is a considered as Spa town today
[43:52] but okay there's no no no I bet but I think the name Spa comes
[43:57] from some kind of Belgian. I don't I don't remember the
[43:59] correct. If he'll have to fact check that
[44:01] one. But yeah, the name Spa comes
[44:04] from submit milky and no it's not that.
[44:06] Okay. So the job Kim started, walking
[44:09] style and chalky mauve and it did given Joker.
[44:16] No. Joe.
[44:20] So I said I was everybody's heard of it and a lot of people
[44:25] have used or encountered this thing.
[44:29] Hmm. Feeling I'm gonna like the
[44:34] answer. So they are very, they are very
[44:39] strong, my new tradition and that's where the etymology comes
[44:43] from Mining and you mention jochum style, right?
[44:49] Or Yoakam stockings. Nope, not okay.
[44:55] It there was silver coins, which are minted from the silver.
[45:02] That was mined in this town silver coins, 30 pieces of
[45:08] silver Judas? No, no, no, no.
[45:11] It's 1500 talk about the 16th century 16, okay.
[45:14] It's not a very old town, Lo Que la and we would have Encountered
[45:20] this, right? So you said something about a
[45:23] Silver coin and something, we would have encountered something
[45:32] we would know cha keemstar. No, silver coins, are minted
[45:40] here and so they came to be named after the town.
[45:45] Those silver coins were named after the town, what?
[45:48] Kim's parlors or jock installers or whatever.
[45:53] It's okay. Wouldn't wait.
[45:56] Silver coins. Something that that hint was a
[45:59] dead giveaway? No, not it will you'll get it
[46:02] earlier. I trust you.
[46:04] Okay. Okay.
[46:06] I know I hit silver coins. You're getting krugerrands.
[46:12] No. No that the Dosa South African
[46:13] gold coins in which everybody. I'm not talking about a small
[46:18] subset of people. Everybody is out of it.
[46:23] Okay, I'm just anybody who's listening to podcast has heard
[46:27] of it? When it has got nothing to do
[46:31] with God? Cause I meant like, okay.
[46:35] I will explain later as you know, that everybody's okay.
[46:45] Okay. Okay, I'm going a little nuts
[46:47] here. I'll just repeat what I just
[46:50] said. I'm going to sequence, oh,
[46:51] nothing to do with sequins or anything.
[46:55] So, Hakeem style is the old name, okay, welcome style had a
[47:01] minute. Addition, silver obvious to be
[47:04] mined here back in the 16th century argentum.
[47:08] Okay, and working style silver coins that are made from Um, so
[47:14] that's it was mine came to be called joachimsthal, dollars or
[47:19] joachim's dollars that came to German.
[47:23] Came to Dutch and today is an English word.
[47:28] Everybody knows, does it word that comes from jockey
[47:32] installers? That everybody knows.
[47:35] It's all you could do put almost disregard the first part of that
[47:40] world, the job Kim, Kim stylist, stylist stall, stall stall.
[47:53] No, wait stolen, jockey installer is Joakim.
[48:05] Solid Installer is this regard. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[48:11] Just what does it sound like? What does it sound like still?
[48:17] I don't know, I can't talk. I'm just I'm sleep-deprived for
[48:22] everybody that that's my excuse, for this.
[48:24] It's a late night. It's a late night.
[48:26] I wonder if anybody listening to this at this point, it's like a
[48:29] you have said, the answer like five times.
[48:33] It's, let's not, let's not prolong this.
[48:35] Yeah. What is the answer?
[48:37] Yes. Yes, please.
[48:39] It is a dollar or sweet. Oh, okay my apologies, the
[48:55] dollar. Wow.
[48:58] Okay. That one was a doozy.
[49:02] That one was a doozy, and I should have gotten that.
[49:04] I actually said out stallers taller.
[49:07] I Ryder and the German accent, you know, storm.
[49:11] And I just couldn't get it. Oh God, nice.
[49:15] And I didn't know that. I did not know that.
[49:17] I just the other day, I was reading about the origin of the
[49:21] dollar symbol. I was going to ask give that as
[49:24] a possible. No, the question.
[49:26] But since you already know it, is that perso Spanish, the pace.
[49:30] Oh yeah, the purse was finished a so, yeah.
[49:32] So I remember reading about that and then my ADHD kicked in and I
[49:36] went to the next article Chuckle because I keep doing that.
[49:38] I jump between articles. Yeah, that's a fast.
[49:42] Okay, physically as well. Yes.
[49:45] Okay, but that's how the dollars.
[49:46] Think? Nice.
[49:48] Nice. And the reason I said, almost
[49:51] everybody because I mean some guys,
[50:10] I'm going to close with something very quickly but so
[50:16] this is a theater depression. I'm going to give you the name
[50:18] of a theater adaptation in English of a particular
[50:23] Bollywood movie. Okay, I'm going to give you the
[50:27] name. You need to tell me which
[50:29] Bollywood movie. It is Okay.
[50:32] Okay, 14 songs to weddings and a funeral.
[50:38] That's the name of the adaptation.
[50:40] The theater adaptation according know this.
[50:43] I know this software for clear for everybody listening, I did
[50:47] the other huge theater geek. No, no, this is a thumb up
[50:53] cocoon. Yes, it is hum of cake on 14
[50:59] songs to weddings and a funeral. I just love it.
[51:02] I T. It is such a capsulate the
[51:05] movie. Okay, so and an Umpire dog isn't
[51:13] isn't a fee. You know, what is the name of
[51:15] the dog over? Yeah.
[51:17] Yeah. I think I just love the fact
[51:20] check. This is fine.
[51:23] Okay, so before we wind up Aditya, don't you have a
[51:27] question to ask? Oh, I do.
[51:30] Hmm. What is it boy?
[51:35] I don't know why I do this weekend.
[51:37] We are going to stop doing this video.
[51:40] Just give me. Give me a no, I'm never letting
[51:42] you stop doing this. I'll just have to fit this
[51:44] podcast one time. Okay, let's see.
[51:49] What would be the working title for would be the theatrical
[51:55] title for the iconic Bollywood movie.
[52:03] Let's say surely yeah I'm going to come up with something for
[52:07] surely that would be the theatrical title for surely.
[52:12] That is the question Kata audience can think about till
