I originally created these stories for my own children on nights when they couldn’t fall asleep. What started as a simple bedtime ritual has grown into a world of imagination designed to help families wind down together at the end of the day. Play an episode for your kids and encourage them to imagine they are the hero of the story — exploring distant planets, training dragons, discovering magic, or traveling through space — all while lying safely in bed with their eyes closed. Each 15–30 minute adventure is filled with science fiction and fantasy themes kids love: spaceships, dinosaurs, dragons, wizards, and whatever wild idea we dream up next. The stories are exciting, creative, and always safe for young listeners. When the adventure ends, the episode gently transitions into calming music to reduce distractions and help your child drift off to sleep — giving you a quiet moment to step out of the room and enjoy some well-earned alone time. Imagination first. Sleep second. Peace and quiet third. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/dad-s-bedtime-stories--6907147/support. [0:05] Speaker 1: Hello, friends from across the nation and around the world.
[0:08] Speaker 1: I'm Martin, and you are listening to dad's bedtime stories. Tonight,
[0:13] Speaker 1: we're jumping back into sort of a brand new start
[0:17] Speaker 1: for wizard Craft. Wizard Craft three point zero, a world
[0:24] Speaker 1: where you jump into, well, something very much like a
[0:28] Speaker 1: video game anyways, and build and try to survive that
[0:33] Speaker 1: sort of thing. Now, obviously, this series is very much
[0:37] Speaker 1: influenced by video games I've played in the past, Minecraft,
[0:42] Speaker 1: the Elder Scrolls series, and even stard Valley. And I
[0:48] Speaker 1: have to say that my son and I were playing
[0:50] Speaker 1: a lot of Stardew Valley this weekend and that probably
[0:54] Speaker 1: influenced this particular episode so far. I don't have any
[0:58] Speaker 1: ideas from you guys yet. I find it normally takes
[1:01] Speaker 1: a couple episodes with my own ideas to get those
[1:04] Speaker 1: ideas rolling in. But if you have an idea for
[1:08] Speaker 1: something you'd like to see in Wizardcraft three.
[1:11] Speaker 2: Point zero, I'm all years.
[1:13] Speaker 1: Leave me one on speak, Pype, the Google form, wherever
[1:17] Speaker 1: you really want to. Part of the reason I started
[1:20] Speaker 1: over is because I want you guys to help me
[1:22] Speaker 1: forge a brand news story. What powers are we going
[1:26] Speaker 1: to get? What equipment are we going to get? What
[1:29] Speaker 1: skills are we going to get? Where are we going
[1:31] Speaker 1: to go? Who are we going to meet? There's all
[1:35] Speaker 1: sorts of ideas you honestly can't go wrong in this
[1:38] Speaker 1: particular series, so it's perfect for that sort of thing.
[1:42] Speaker 1: As many of you know, this podcast is funded in
[1:45] Speaker 1: a number of ways. First of all, for those of
[1:48] Speaker 1: you who really appreciate an ad free sort of place
[1:52] Speaker 1: to be, we have Patreon for as little as one
[1:56] Speaker 1: dollar per month honestly hopefully something most of you and
[2:00] Speaker 1: even notice you can get ad free episodes. And speaking
[2:05] Speaker 1: of that, i'd like to thank some of my newest
[2:08] Speaker 1: Patreon sponsors. Thank you to Laura Curtis and Wes Lee
[2:14] Speaker 1: from Slingerland's New York and I hope I'm saying that right,
[2:19] Speaker 1: not the New York part.
[2:20] Speaker 2: I know how to say that. I hope.
[2:22] Speaker 1: Now podcasts aren't free to make. I do have a
[2:25] Speaker 1: full time job in addition to running this podcast and
[2:28] Speaker 1: doing three unique episodes almost every single week, so any
[2:33] Speaker 1: support and sponsorships are very much appreciated. The other way
[2:38] Speaker 1: we're funded is through ads, which I know some of
[2:41] Speaker 1: you find really annoying, but if you don't want them.
[2:45] Speaker 1: There's an option for that too. Otherwise, I'd like to
[2:49] Speaker 1: introduce you to a possible ad from a possible sponsor
[2:53] Speaker 1: that'll be inserted automatically here, and I have no idea
[2:56] Speaker 1: what it'll be. Time to close your eyes, get as
[3:01] Speaker 1: comfy as you can in that bed, and imagine yourself
[3:04] Speaker 1: doing what the kid in the story does. You wake
[3:10] Speaker 1: up to a floating set of words in front of
[3:13] Speaker 1: your eyes. It says, wake up, question mark. You mentally
[3:20] Speaker 1: select yes, and the world suddenly appears in front of you.
[3:26] Speaker 1: You remember that you've recently found an abandoned village and
[3:31] Speaker 1: decided to go to sleep in a mostly still put
[3:34] Speaker 1: together little house. The last thing you did was to
[3:39] Speaker 1: use your new stone Golum spell to create a stone Golum,
[3:44] Speaker 1: give them a pickaxe and an axe, and tell them
[3:47] Speaker 1: to collect wood, stone and any kind of iron or
[3:52] Speaker 1: other metal you could find. It was a very successful strategy.
[3:56] Speaker 1: The last time you were in the wizard Craft world,
[4:00] Speaker 1: and you're excited to see if you found anything. You
[4:06] Speaker 1: head out the door of your tiny little house to
[4:09] Speaker 1: the town square, where, sure enough, you see three large
[4:14] Speaker 1: piles of material wood stone and uh not iron, something
[4:25] Speaker 1: kind of more orangey or well copper colored.
[4:31] Speaker 2: You walk over to the pile.
[4:34] Speaker 1: What's this, you ask that, my friend says, the mysterious
[4:39] Speaker 1: voice from the.
[4:40] Speaker 2: Sky is copper.
[4:44] Speaker 1: It can be used for crafting many different things, lightning, rods, tools,
[4:50] Speaker 1: and armor, to name a few. Well less durable than
[4:55] Speaker 1: iron or steel. It's a convenient place to star and
[5:01] Speaker 1: there's quite a bit of it too, at least for
[5:04] Speaker 1: one golum. The stone Golum walks up beside you and
[5:09] Speaker 1: dumps a few more pieces of copper on the pile.
[5:14] Speaker 2: Uh where'd you get this? You ask?
[5:18] Speaker 3: Found it in the mine.
[5:22] Speaker 1: The golum says. You notice that the golam is covered
[5:27] Speaker 1: in a strange sort of coppery slime as well.
[5:32] Speaker 2: Oh what are you covered in? You ask? Slime?
[5:38] Speaker 1: The goal of answers many slimes in the mine.
[5:44] Speaker 2: They do not like that. I take copper.
[5:50] Speaker 1: A mine full of slimes. We're gonna have to check
[5:54] Speaker 1: that out right after I get to building a few things. First,
[6:01] Speaker 1: you absorb as many of the materials as you can
[6:04] Speaker 1: into your inventory. You reach towards the wood, and almost magically,
[6:10] Speaker 1: the pieces fly into your hand and well into your
[6:15] Speaker 1: very being. That invisible place inside you where you can
[6:19] Speaker 1: store just about anything. You reach towards the stone and
[6:25] Speaker 1: it too flies into your inventory. Then you reach towards
[6:30] Speaker 1: the copper. With everything stored appropriately, you walk back over
[6:37] Speaker 1: beside your tiny little house, the one that was mostly
[6:41] Speaker 1: still together. You focus on your crafting table from inside
[6:46] Speaker 1: your inventory. It appears in a ghost like structure in
[6:51] Speaker 1: front of you. You mentally lock it in place, and
[6:55] Speaker 1: it flies out of your inventory and well forms in
[6:59] Speaker 1: front of you, right against the wall to your house. Next,
[7:04] Speaker 1: you focus on the furnace, and it too appears right beside.
[7:09] Speaker 1: You move over to the furnace, open up the bottom
[7:12] Speaker 1: compartment and fill it up with a whole bunch of
[7:16] Speaker 1: wood from inside your inventory. Then you open up the
[7:21] Speaker 1: top compartment and fill it up with as much of
[7:25] Speaker 1: the copper as you can. You close the door and
[7:29] Speaker 1: press the start button. Immediately it lights up and heats up.
[7:35] Speaker 1: In the meantime, you move over to make some other
[7:39] Speaker 1: improvements if you can. Mostly you are gonna need chests
[7:45] Speaker 1: to store things in. You flip through the menu on
[7:49] Speaker 1: your crafting table a little floating screen that floats above
[7:54] Speaker 1: the thing. You select a wooden chest, and you begin
[7:59] Speaker 1: feeding the crafting table with wood from your inventory. Soon
[8:05] Speaker 1: five chests are sort of floating above the table. You
[8:10] Speaker 1: accept them into your inventory, focus on where you want
[8:14] Speaker 1: them to be at the town center, and lock them
[8:18] Speaker 1: into place. All right, Stone Golum, mind if I call
[8:23] Speaker 1: you rocky? Now, of course you don't mind anyways, I'm
[8:28] Speaker 1: gonna need you to put any material you find from
[8:31] Speaker 1: now on inside the chests. That one can be wood,
[8:36] Speaker 1: that one can be stone, this one can be precious metals,
[8:40] Speaker 1: and we'll figure out the other two later. Understood, the
[8:46] Speaker 1: stone Golum responds, all right, perfect, Now back to crafting.
[8:52] Speaker 1: I'm gonna need some more tools if we're gonna go mining.
[8:55] Speaker 1: You head back over to the crafting table, and sure enough,
[9:00] Speaker 1: the furnace has produced some finished copper ingots. You open
[9:07] Speaker 1: up the door to the side and absorb several copper
[9:11] Speaker 1: ingots into your inventory. You flip through the menu to
[9:15] Speaker 1: see what copper tools you can make in the crafting table,
[9:19] Speaker 1: and of course you come across all of the basic
[9:23] Speaker 1: tools copper pickaxe, copper axe, copper scythe copper hoe, copper
[9:31] Speaker 1: water and can that sort of thing. You can also
[9:36] Speaker 1: apparently make a copper sword and copper knife. You continue
[9:41] Speaker 1: to flip through the options and see that there's some
[9:45] Speaker 1: basic armor available too. You don't have enough iron armor
[9:51] Speaker 1: to make a proper set, so maybe copper will do,
[9:56] Speaker 1: and it's probably a good idea since there's those slie
[10:00] Speaker 1: in the mine. You start by making a copper pick
[10:04] Speaker 1: axe and a copper axe. Since you gave Rocky your
[10:08] Speaker 1: iron ones, you absorb them into your inventory and use
[10:13] Speaker 1: the last of your copper to make a copper chest piece. Unfortunately,
[10:20] Speaker 1: that's all the copper you have so far. You equip
[10:24] Speaker 1: the chest piece and look at yourself in the window.
[10:29] Speaker 1: It looks pretty cool, kind of like a yeah, well
[10:34] Speaker 1: like a copper bulletproof vest. All right, Rocky, time to
[10:39] Speaker 1: show me where you found this copper. If there's a
[10:43] Speaker 1: mine around here, I want to check it out.
[10:48] Speaker 2: Follow me, Rocky says.
[10:52] Speaker 1: He leads you over to the side towards the mountain
[10:56] Speaker 1: at the back of the village and up a long
[11:01] Speaker 1: set of stairs. The stairs curl left and right, snaking
[11:06] Speaker 1: their way up the mountain until you finally come to
[11:10] Speaker 1: a large flat area with a huge opening. At the
[11:15] Speaker 1: opposite end. There's a sign that's somewhat broken, which reads
[11:21] Speaker 1: mine beware. Ah, right, well, maybe it's time to use
[11:28] Speaker 1: my stone Golm spell again. You can never have too
[11:32] Speaker 1: much backup. You look over to a large pile of
[11:37] Speaker 1: rocks that have broken off of the mountain, and you
[11:40] Speaker 1: reach inward, calling forth your mana, your mana barred drops.
[11:48] Speaker 1: As you reach out to the rocks, wil them into
[11:51] Speaker 1: the air. They twirl around in front of you and
[11:55] Speaker 1: slowly begin forming themselves into an other stone golm. What
[12:04] Speaker 1: are your orders, the stone golum says, uh, basically, to
[12:10] Speaker 1: follow me, help me mine, and well protect me. Understood,
[12:18] Speaker 1: the golum says, Together, the three of you head into
[12:24] Speaker 1: the well main entrance to the mine. You find yourself
[12:29] Speaker 1: in a large room or foyer, if caves or mines
[12:35] Speaker 1: had a foyer. At one end is an old, broken
[12:39] Speaker 1: down elevator, and beside it is a door much stranger
[12:45] Speaker 1: than all of that. Beside the door is a man
[12:50] Speaker 1: who seems to be collapsed against the wall. Rocky, did
[12:57] Speaker 1: you happen to notice the person beside the door when
[13:00] Speaker 1: you went into the mines? Yes, Rocky answers, did you
[13:06] Speaker 1: check to see if he's okay?
[13:09] Speaker 3: No?
[13:10] Speaker 2: I was to find material, not people. All right.
[13:17] Speaker 1: I mean, you can't blame the golm. After all, he
[13:21] Speaker 1: was doing what you asked. You quickly move over and
[13:25] Speaker 1: bend down beside the person. He's been in better shape.
[13:31] Speaker 1: Hey you are you? Are you with us? You ask?
[13:37] Speaker 3: Ah?
[13:38] Speaker 1: What? Eh? Yes, yes, I am, the person answers, though
[13:49] Speaker 1: I don't know how much longer I'll be around.
[13:56] Speaker 2: What are you doing here? You ask?
[14:00] Speaker 1: Well, I am the chief miner of the village. I'm
[14:05] Speaker 1: here because it's my job to be here. But nobody
[14:11] Speaker 1: else is in the village. It's completely abandoned.
[14:15] Speaker 2: Ah.
[14:17] Speaker 1: That would explain why no one's been up here for
[14:21] Speaker 1: a very long time.
[14:24] Speaker 2: Ah.
[14:25] Speaker 1: How have you survived all by yourself? I've survived by
[14:32] Speaker 1: doing what I have to do and eating what I
[14:35] Speaker 1: have to eat, which was mostly slime disgusting stuff, but
[14:42] Speaker 1: highly nutritious, it turns out. Ah, okay, And where did
[14:50] Speaker 1: everybody else in the village go? How should I know?
[14:54] Speaker 1: Nobody comes to tell the chief miner anything. This place
[15:01] Speaker 1: used to be bustling with activity. We unlocked the mines
[15:06] Speaker 1: all the way down to the diamond level, very lucrative venture,
[15:13] Speaker 1: and then one day they all just stopped coming, leaving
[15:19] Speaker 1: me to take care of the place. Without anyone to
[15:24] Speaker 1: fight the slimes and other monsters that inevitably spawn inside mines,
[15:31] Speaker 1: the place became overrun, overrun with slimes. The diamond area
[15:42] Speaker 1: was taken first, then the iron section, then the copper
[15:50] Speaker 1: I don't recommend going in there without at least a
[15:55] Speaker 1: little protection. Even the copper slimes are numerous and strong.
[16:03] Speaker 1: I see well, as there are a lot of copper
[16:07] Speaker 1: ore in there too, you ask, Oh, yes, As I explained,
[16:13] Speaker 1: there are several sections to the mine. The first few
[16:18] Speaker 1: floors are the copper area. If you make it down
[16:23] Speaker 1: to the fifth floor, you should be able to reactivate
[16:28] Speaker 1: the elevator. It was manually turned off to stop monsters
[16:34] Speaker 1: from getting around, but once you clear it out, it
[16:38] Speaker 1: should be safe. After that you can continue to venture
[16:44] Speaker 1: into the iron zone or even the diamond zone. There
[16:50] Speaker 1: are plenty of oree everywhere. They have a way of
[16:55] Speaker 1: sort of respawning on these mines. That's why the village
[17:01] Speaker 1: was put here in the first place. I see, And
[17:07] Speaker 1: what's your name?
[17:09] Speaker 2: My name?
[17:11] Speaker 1: My name is Gus, Gus, the chief miner. Well, any
[17:17] Speaker 1: chance you want to come in here with us?
[17:19] Speaker 2: Gus?
[17:20] Speaker 1: Oh goodness, no, I'm in no shape for that. After
[17:27] Speaker 1: you give me a little bit of food and perhaps
[17:30] Speaker 1: some sleep, well I may be convinced. Just head through
[17:37] Speaker 1: that door there, and it will lead you to the
[17:39] Speaker 1: first floor. Be ready to fight slives though. You reach
[17:46] Speaker 1: into your inventory using your mind and produce your iron sword.
[17:53] Speaker 1: All right, well, Rocky other, Rocky you two?
[17:58] Speaker 2: Ready?
[18:00] Speaker 1: Yes, they both say in unison. Well, then let's get going.
[18:07] Speaker 1: You head towards the door and swing it open. Inside
[18:12] Speaker 1: you find a long set of well stone stairs. You
[18:18] Speaker 1: follow the stairs down. They wind around in a circle
[18:23] Speaker 1: and eventually end in a much larger cavern. There's little
[18:29] Speaker 1: faint lights on the walls and strange copper like balls
[18:36] Speaker 1: of goo slithering and bouncing around inside clearly slimes. All right,
[18:46] Speaker 1: Rocky one, you go to the right, Rocky two, you
[18:51] Speaker 1: go to the left. I'll take the middle. You slowly
[18:55] Speaker 1: make your way into the open cavern until one of
[19:00] Speaker 1: the copper slimes catches your attention. It turns towards you,
[19:06] Speaker 1: looking at you with its little strange face, just a
[19:11] Speaker 1: mouth and two eyes in the center of a little
[19:15] Speaker 1: blob of copper covered gow. Suddenly it lunges towards you.
[19:22] Speaker 1: Your reflexes take over and you swing through the air
[19:27] Speaker 1: with your sword, cutting the little slime in half. It
[19:32] Speaker 1: makes a sort of popping sound and immediately explodes into
[19:36] Speaker 1: a bunch of goop that splatters everywhere, including all over you. You
[19:45] Speaker 1: little piece of copper and a little piece of cold
[19:49] Speaker 1: dropped to the ground where it once stood. Well, at
[19:53] Speaker 1: least there's loot. You absorb the loot into your inventory
[19:58] Speaker 1: and look to the left and right is Rocky one
[20:01] Speaker 1: and Rocky two continue to make their way through the
[20:05] Speaker 1: cave and smash as many of the slimes as they can.
[20:11] Speaker 1: The result is well, bits of goop splattering everywhere. You
[20:17] Speaker 1: continue into the mine until you see another one slicing
[20:21] Speaker 1: through the air as it jumps up towards you. Then another.
[20:26] Speaker 1: You stab forward and eh explode that slime.
[20:30] Speaker 2: Two.
[20:31] Speaker 1: Then you see a slime much much bigger than the rest,
[20:37] Speaker 1: slithering across the ground awards you slim. The slime says,
[20:46] Speaker 1: and it lunges towards you. You slice at it with
[20:49] Speaker 1: your sword. Slime flies everywhere, but the slime just forms
[20:54] Speaker 1: back together. You slice again and again and again and again,
[21:00] Speaker 1: until finally the thing explodes into smaller slimes. A whole
[21:08] Speaker 1: bunch of regular sized slimes, which i'll at once jump
[21:12] Speaker 1: towards you. Rocky one and Rocky two jump into the mix,
[21:18] Speaker 1: grabbing a hold of slimes and throwing them against the wall,
[21:21] Speaker 1: causing them to explode on impact, smashing others with their fist.
[21:26] Speaker 1: As you, as quickly as possible, brush the slimes off
[21:31] Speaker 1: and strike them with your sword.
[21:33] Speaker 2: It doesn't take too.
[21:35] Speaker 1: Long before every one of them is done, and there's
[21:39] Speaker 1: just a bunch of floating loot in front of you,
[21:43] Speaker 1: mostly copper and coal, and well a buck. You absorb
[21:50] Speaker 1: the copper and coal into your inventory and lean down
[21:55] Speaker 1: and grab the book out of the air, floating just
[21:58] Speaker 1: above the ground. You read the cover, Fireball Spell.
[22:05] Speaker 2: Perfect.
[22:07] Speaker 1: You quickly open up the book and begin to read
[22:11] Speaker 1: page after page until the book begins to flip on
[22:16] Speaker 1: its own and your mind begins to remember. Memories flash
[22:22] Speaker 1: through your brain, Memories of years spent learning fire magic,
[22:29] Speaker 1: how to use your mana to heat up the air itself,
[22:34] Speaker 1: how to form your mana into a ball of molten
[22:38] Speaker 1: hot air, and how to fire it at other objects.
[22:45] Speaker 1: When the book closes and disintegrates into dust, you suddenly
[22:51] Speaker 1: remember something you didn't before fire magic, specifically how to
[22:59] Speaker 1: make fire balls. You reach for your mana, open up
[23:04] Speaker 1: your left hand, and summon a bright ball of fire
[23:09] Speaker 1: inside it.
[23:11] Speaker 2: This is going to be very, very helpful.
[23:16] Speaker 1: Right after we clear the copper out of this area,
[23:20] Speaker 1: you look around and you see little veins of copper
[23:25] Speaker 1: in the walls, on the ground, and well, large balls
[23:30] Speaker 1: made of copper all through out the cavern. You produce
[23:36] Speaker 1: your copper pickaxe, give Rocky the order to do the same,
[23:41] Speaker 1: and you begin mining. You break apart the stones in
[23:47] Speaker 1: the center, the stones on the wall, the stones in
[23:51] Speaker 1: the ground, until you've absorbed no less than seventy five
[23:56] Speaker 1: copper pieces into your inventory. And well, Rocky has a
[24:01] Speaker 1: bunch two. The last large vein of copper is against
[24:06] Speaker 1: the wall. You blow through it with your pickaxe. It
[24:11] Speaker 1: explodes into copper pieces and reveals another entrance, another set
[24:19] Speaker 1: of stairs. You absorb the copper and head down the stairs.
[24:25] Speaker 1: You produce a fire ball in your left hand once
[24:29] Speaker 1: again to use as well both light and defense. Rocky
[24:35] Speaker 1: one and Rocky two follow behind you as you wind
[24:39] Speaker 1: down the staircase. You come out into another cavern that's
[24:45] Speaker 1: absolutely full of slimes, but this time you have a
[24:52] Speaker 1: new weapon on your hand. Literally, you fire a fire
[24:58] Speaker 1: ball directly at the first slide I'm causing it to explode, splatter,
[25:04] Speaker 1: but not get anything on you. You produce fireball after fireball,
[25:11] Speaker 1: shooting them across the cavern and destroying slimes, while Rocky
[25:16] Speaker 1: one and Rocky two go to town, smashing as many
[25:21] Speaker 1: as they can as well. Eventually another mother slime or
[25:27] Speaker 1: whatever it is appears. Instead of slashing at it, this time,
[25:32] Speaker 1: you produce another fireball and shoot it right at the creature.
[25:37] Speaker 1: There's an explosion, causing the slime too well to cintegrate
[25:43] Speaker 1: into a bunch of little slimes once again. Immediately you
[25:48] Speaker 1: start slicing through the air as quickly as you can.
[25:52] Speaker 1: Rocky one and Rocky two smash and before long the
[25:57] Speaker 1: copper slimes have been defeated it once again. You absorb
[26:02] Speaker 1: the copper and coal well. You order Rocky one and
[26:07] Speaker 1: Rocky two to mine the copper in the area. Then
[26:11] Speaker 1: you bend down and get your other prize. Another book.
[26:18] Speaker 1: You pick it up off of the ground, only it's
[26:22] Speaker 1: not a spellbook, it's a skill book.
[26:27] Speaker 2: This time, the.
[26:28] Speaker 1: Cover reads the Secret Techniques of Nijitsu. Congratulations, You have
[26:37] Speaker 1: discovered a skill book, the voice says, from nowhere and everywhere,
[26:43] Speaker 1: all at once. Reading a skill book instantly grants you
[26:48] Speaker 1: that skill, much like learning a level up. You quickly
[26:54] Speaker 1: open the cover and begin to read through the skill book, and,
[26:59] Speaker 1: just like with a spellbook, your mind flashes to memories
[27:05] Speaker 1: that are not your own. Memories of training from the
[27:09] Speaker 1: age of three in a ninjitsu temple, learning the movements
[27:16] Speaker 1: and kaddas of the ninja, learning to strike, block attack,
[27:22] Speaker 1: and even learning to take hits, hardening your body against strikes.
[27:30] Speaker 1: By the time the book is finished and disintegrates in
[27:33] Speaker 1: front of you.
[27:35] Speaker 2: You know ninjitsu.
[27:39] Speaker 1: Rocky one and Rocky two finish harvesting all of the
[27:43] Speaker 1: copper out of the area and reveal another door. You
[27:49] Speaker 1: head down to the third floor, and with your new
[27:53] Speaker 1: ninjitsu powers, it's easier to take on the slimes than ever. Sure,
[27:59] Speaker 1: there's more of them on the third floor, but you're
[28:02] Speaker 1: quicker than you ever have been. You easily dodge their
[28:06] Speaker 1: attacks and slice through the air, aim fire balls at others,
[28:11] Speaker 1: perform backflips, front flips, and all sorts of last minute dodges.
[28:18] Speaker 1: It's as if the slimes are moving slower than they
[28:20] Speaker 1: were before, and you simply understand movement better. When the
[28:26] Speaker 1: mother Slime appears on this floor, you unleash a blast
[28:31] Speaker 1: of fire and immediately jump in towards it, slicing all
[28:36] Speaker 1: of the little slimes apart before they even have a
[28:40] Speaker 1: chance to attack.
[28:42] Speaker 2: Again.
[28:43] Speaker 1: You absorb copper and coal, and well you find some jewels.
[28:51] Speaker 2: Again. You mine the.
[28:52] Speaker 1: Floor, find the entrance, and head down.
[28:56] Speaker 2: To the fourth floor.
[28:59] Speaker 1: Without hesitation, You and the two golums begin to break
[29:04] Speaker 1: apart as many of the slimes as you possibly can.
[29:08] Speaker 1: There's even more of them, of course, but you've all
[29:11] Speaker 1: gotten much better at this. Congratulations. Your Nijitsu combat skill
[29:19] Speaker 1: has increased to level two. Congratulations. Your fireball spell has
[29:25] Speaker 1: increased to level two. Congratulations. Your combined experience has upgraded
[29:33] Speaker 1: you to level two. New skill point awarded. You don't
[29:40] Speaker 1: have time to think of what to use that last
[29:43] Speaker 1: skill point on, because it's time to take on the
[29:48] Speaker 1: Mother Slime. You move forward, ready for the attack of
[29:52] Speaker 1: the gigantic creature, but instead something else appears in front
[29:59] Speaker 1: of you. Five something else is five little golams made
[30:06] Speaker 1: entirely out of copper, step out of the shadows, each
[30:12] Speaker 1: one holding a copper pickaxe in both hands. They suddenly
[30:18] Speaker 1: roll forward and begin to attack. Rocky one and Rocky
[30:23] Speaker 1: two strike towards them, but the copper golams roll around
[30:28] Speaker 1: into a little copper ball. Appear behind and begin to
[30:33] Speaker 1: strike at the legs of the little golams. Before they
[30:37] Speaker 1: can do too much damage, you send a fireball to
[30:41] Speaker 1: the one on the left and a fireball to the
[30:43] Speaker 1: one on the right. Then you move forward as another
[30:48] Speaker 1: copper golum attacks. They swing their pickaxe through the air.
[30:53] Speaker 1: You dodge to the side, slice through the thing, and
[30:57] Speaker 1: it immediately breaks apart into little pieces of copper. Another
[31:03] Speaker 1: little copper golum jumps at you. You thrust your sword
[31:07] Speaker 1: up words and slaice right into the thing, which again
[31:12] Speaker 1: explodes into a bunch of copper pieces. With a little puff,
[31:17] Speaker 1: another copper golum jumps forward. This time you spin around
[31:22] Speaker 1: the left, swinging your sword around with you and slaicing
[31:26] Speaker 1: right through the thing. Again it transforms into little bits
[31:31] Speaker 1: of copper. You see that Rocky one and Rocky two
[31:35] Speaker 1: are having more trouble, being picked apart piece by piece
[31:40] Speaker 1: by their little pick axes. Instinctively, you pick up your
[31:45] Speaker 1: sword and chuck it through the air. It flies straight
[31:49] Speaker 1: behind Rocky one, directly into the copper golum and plants
[31:56] Speaker 1: itself in the ground as the copper golam and a
[32:00] Speaker 1: little pile of copper. Then you produce a fire ball
[32:05] Speaker 1: in both of your hands and shoot both of them
[32:08] Speaker 1: at the same time at the other copper golum. An
[32:12] Speaker 1: explosion of fire and an explosion of copper ensues. The
[32:19] Speaker 1: floor beneath you rumbles, and in front of you, a
[32:24] Speaker 1: little piece of the floor slides sideways, and a copper
[32:29] Speaker 1: chest rises up out of the floor. You move over
[32:34] Speaker 1: to the chest, bend down unlatchet, and the thing pops open.
[32:42] Speaker 1: Inside is another spellbook, the Copper Golum spell Book. Congratulations,
[32:53] Speaker 1: you have found the copper Golum spell book. Copper golams
[32:58] Speaker 1: are renowned for they're mining and building abilities. These little
[33:04] Speaker 1: creatures like to keep busy. You immediately pull the book
[33:10] Speaker 1: out of the chest. You open up the cover and
[33:14] Speaker 1: start to read again. Memories from someone else flash inside
[33:22] Speaker 1: your mind. Memories of learning to become one with copper,
[33:28] Speaker 1: of guiding copper and reforming it into the shape of
[33:32] Speaker 1: a golum, and of giving that golum part of your
[33:37] Speaker 1: life force in order to bring it to life. The
[33:42] Speaker 1: book closes and turns to dust. You stand up and
[33:48] Speaker 1: look around at all of the copper pieces on the ground.
[33:53] Speaker 1: You reach towards your mana. Luckily you have just enough
[33:58] Speaker 1: for the spell. Your bar decreases as you reach out
[34:04] Speaker 1: and grab a hold of the copper pieces, they spin
[34:08] Speaker 1: around through the air in front of you and form
[34:12] Speaker 1: themselves into a little copper gold. Holding a pickaxe in
[34:17] Speaker 1: each hand, the copper smashes together, holds its form, and
[34:24] Speaker 1: last you breathe life into the creature. It opens its eyes. Yes, Master,
[34:32] Speaker 1: what are your orders? I guess my orders are to
[34:37] Speaker 1: mine all the copper that appears in this area and
[34:41] Speaker 1: destroy any slimes that spawn. Put anything you find in
[34:46] Speaker 1: this copper chest. I guess understood. It will be done.
[34:53] Speaker 1: The copper goldum forms into a ball, rolls away, and
[34:58] Speaker 1: begins to strike get the copper with both pickaxes all
[35:03] Speaker 1: at once. At the far end of the cave, something
[35:08] Speaker 1: suddenly lights up. You walk closer and see that it's
[35:13] Speaker 1: the elevator. I guess it reactivated. Now that the place
[35:18] Speaker 1: is clear, you press the up button beside it, and
[35:22] Speaker 1: the doors open up. H come on, Rocky one, Rocky two,
[35:28] Speaker 1: I think it's time.
[35:28] Speaker 2: For a break.
[35:31] Speaker 1: You all step inside the large elevator. The doors close
[35:36] Speaker 1: and the elevator rises up. It comes to a stomp,
[35:41] Speaker 1: and the doors open into the very first cavern. You
[35:46] Speaker 1: step outside and look around. Gus, the chief miner, is
[35:51] Speaker 1: still laying against the wall. Oh good, you actually unlocked
[35:58] Speaker 1: the mine. Oh I really thought you wouldn't be coming
[36:03] Speaker 1: back from there. Ah, very good. Any chance you'd help
[36:09] Speaker 1: me down to the village. I could use a proper sleep.
[36:16] Speaker 1: You help Gus up off of the ground, and you
[36:20] Speaker 1: order Rocky one to pick him up. Rocky one scoops
[36:25] Speaker 1: up the little old man, and together you walk back
[36:29] Speaker 1: down the stairs, down the mountain and into the village.
[36:35] Speaker 1: You scrounge around inside some of the abandoned buildings, and
[36:39] Speaker 1: luckily you find some beef jerky and other provisions. You
[36:44] Speaker 1: share them with Gus around a little campfire before heading
[36:49] Speaker 1: to bed. Rocky one, Rocky two, your job again is
[36:55] Speaker 1: to mine as many materials as you can.
[37:00] Speaker 2: The copper.
[37:01] Speaker 1: Golam should take care of the copper, so you too,
[37:05] Speaker 1: focus on wood and stone. We're gonna need to build
[37:08] Speaker 1: this place into what it used to be. You produce
[37:13] Speaker 1: a copper pickaxe and copper axe and toss them to wards.
[37:17] Speaker 2: Rocky too.
[37:19] Speaker 1: Well, good night guys, gust you have a place to sleep,
[37:24] Speaker 1: you ask, Ah, Yes, it seems my old house wasn't
[37:29] Speaker 1: too destroyed after all. I'll be sleeping there. You wave
[37:35] Speaker 1: good night and head back to your little cabin. You
[37:39] Speaker 1: open up the door, close it behind you, and climb
[37:43] Speaker 1: into the very comfortable bed. Almost immediately, a little menu
[37:51] Speaker 1: appears in front of your eyes. Sleep now, question mark.
[37:57] Speaker 1: You select yes, and immediately a wave of fatigue passes
[38:03] Speaker 1: over your body. Your eyes become heavy, your arms and
[38:08] Speaker 1: legs and well every other muscle in your body starts
[38:13] Speaker 1: to relax. You sink down into the bed, and you
[38:19] Speaker 1: instantly fall asleep, while your mind wanders off to thoughts
[38:26] Speaker 1: of new dreams, new spells, and new adventures to come.
[38:33] Speaker 3: Good night, everyone, new yor.
[40:53] Speaker 4: More than Union. A mom of thing mo in New
[48:55] Speaker 4: UNIONI no more and
