[0:12] Islam Aleikum Aleikum Massalam. Uncle, which story are you going to tell me
[0:18] today? In Chahlah, I'll tell you the story of Hazad mcdad beIN Aswad
[0:24] al kin masha Lad. That is great. Please tell me, uncle.
[0:31] Rahim Hasdad Makdad been a Au was one of the companions of prophet Mahammasala Lahulhi
[0:41] was Selam. He was also known as Makhdad bin Am Albaherini. He was
[0:47] one of the most respected Sahabal Makdad was a brave young man who belonged to
[0:53] an Arabian tribe named Behra. He was originally from Heldera mouth Yemen. He
[0:59] is escape from his tribe when he was very young. When he reached Mecca,
[1:04] he worked for a man named al Aswad al Khindi. In Arabia,
[1:08] people loved brave and strong men. His master did not have any children,
[1:15] and he soon grew fond of Maghdad. One day, al Aswad al Kindi
[1:21] stood amongst the tribe of Koreshi and said, I am declaring from this day
[1:26] on Maghdad as my son. His name will be Makhdad ben Aswad al Kindi.
[1:34] After I die, he will inherit me. From that day on,
[1:40] people started calling him Mikhdad ben Aswad al Khindi. It was the way Arab
[1:47] people showed their love towards someone. When Maghdad was twenty four years old,
[1:53] Prophet Mahamasell Alahuali was seldom had started spreading Islam in Macca. Mikdad too heard
[1:59] about prophet's mission. Mitda too joined Islam. He kept his religion a secret,
[2:07] but the koreshtribe had started persecuting the Muslims. When this happened, Prophet
[2:13] Mahamasella Lahawali, he was seldom, asked his companions to immigrate to Madina.
[2:19] The followers of Islam immigrated one by one or in groups. Mikdad too joined
[2:25] the people and traveled to Madina. He was one of the last to migrate.
[2:30] When he reached Madina, the prophet Mahamaselle Lahualeh he was seldom, had
[2:36] already reached there and he invited him to stay with him. Mikdad once shared
[2:45] a story of an event that occurred while he stayed with the prophet. It
[2:50] so happened that Makhdad Razillaud ala Anhu and few others were staying at the house
[2:55] of Prophet Mahmasella Lahuale he was seldom. One day, as usual, they
[3:00] returned to prophet's house after the day's work. They were bowls of milk left
[3:06] for each of them. Everyone drank their share, but Migthad still felt hungry
[3:12] even after drinking his share of milk. It was then that Schatan came to
[3:17] him and told him to drink the prophet's share as well. At first,
[3:23] Miltad refused, but when the Chatan compelled him even more, at last he
[3:30] gave up and drank the prophet's share of milk as well. As soon as
[3:36] he had finished, he felt guilty. He didn't know what to do,
[3:42] so he pretended to be asleep when the prophet Mahammaselle Lahawa he was seldom,
[3:46] walked in. When prophets saw someone had his share of milk, he made
[3:54] a dua oh Allah, feed the one who feed quench the thirst of the
[4:01] one who quenches my thirst. Upon hearing this, Middad got up. He
[4:08] wanted to be the one to feed the prophet. He went to the goat
[4:13] to mit them. He noticed that even though the goat had been milt earlier.
[4:17] The odds were full. He milked the goat and gave it to prophet
[4:23] and he drank to his fill. There was still a lot of milk left,
[4:28] and Middad drank the milk and satisfied his anger as well. It was
[4:32] a miracle from Alasabhana with Allah. Mirdad bin Aswad al Kindi rasellaoud Ala Anhu
[4:40] also had the honor of being related to the prophet Mahamaselle a Lahu Alah.
[4:44] He was seldom. After having trouble getting married for some time, he eventually
[4:49] got married to the cousin of Prophet Mahamaselle Lahuala. He was seldom. Thus
[4:55] they became relatives as well. When the Muslims immigrated from Maka to Madina,
[5:01] the disbelievers attacked and dropped their houses. The prophet wanted to bring back the
[5:12] belongings of his people. He tried to reason with the Korash in the first
[5:15] place, but they were not willing to listen. The prophet had no option
[5:20] left other than to declare war against the Korash. The prophet and his companions
[5:28] never set out for war before the Battle of Badra. They had actually set
[5:32] out to recover their belongings, but Abu Sufyan, the Korash leader, declared
[5:39] war on the Muslims. This unexpected turn of events called for an important decision
[5:46] and quick resolved, as the Muslims had never fought before. The prophet Mohammed
[5:51] sal Lahualahi was seldom consulted his companions, saying, O people give me your
[6:00] council. First abubak raseilaud Allah, who stood up and spoke, followed by
[6:05] umarbin al Hata Razila ala' Anhu. But the prophet was not satisfied, and
[6:12] he repeated, O people give me your counsel. This is when Mehdad ben
[6:17] al Kindi raselaud alah Anhu came forth and spoke, Oh. Prophet mahamasell Allahu
[6:23] Alahi was seldom execute the plan which Allah has shown to you, for we
[6:29] are with you by Allah. We will not say to you, as the
[6:34] children of Israel said to Musa, so go you and your lord and fight
[6:41] you too. We are sitting right here. Instead we say to you,
[6:46] go you and your lord and fight. We are with you and will fight.
[6:51] And by the one who sent you with the truth. If you led
[6:56] us to Burkhol Rahmad we would fight alongside with you against those who come before
[7:00] it until you reached it. And we will indeed fight at your right and
[7:06] from your left, and from before you and from behind you, until Allah
[7:12] makes you victorious. Prophet mahammosell lahaaliu Salem was really happy when he heard this.
[7:19] Everyone present there agreed with Magdad's opinion. The prophet Mahamosella Lahuali you is
[7:27] Salem then decided to fight the Korash. The Battle of Bad began. The
[7:33] Muslims were full of enthusiasm. They faced the disbelievers with hearts filled with faith,
[7:42] and pretty soon the Muslims won the battle. The Muslims took the prisoners
[7:47] of war and headed for Madina. Mighdad wanted ransom. He wanted the Korash
[7:55] to return the belongings of Muslims in returns for their present. The prophet Mahamosella
[8:01] Lahoally Jusalem knew this, so he raised his hands towards the sky and said,
[8:09] Allah make Mighdad bin Aswad rich with your favor. The enemies used to
[8:16] kill the Muslims whenever they captured one. Prophet mahammosell Lahali Jusalem did not want
[8:24] to be like them. The prophet asked his companions to treat other remaining prisoners
[8:31] of war kindly. Besides, he released some prisoners without ransom because they were
[8:37] poor, and he asked the prisoners who could read and write to teach the
[8:43] Muslim kids as a ransom. The Muslims spot many other wars, including the
[8:48] Battle of Ahd. The Battle of Ah'd was a lesson for the Muslims.
[8:54] They learned a lot from it. They learned how to obey the It at
[9:01] any rate, for obedience to him meant victory and disobedience meant defeat. Mikhdad
[9:09] bin Aswad deeply believe in Allah and his prophet. That's why our master prophet
[9:16] Mahamaselle Alahuale was Selam said about him and about some of his companions. Allah
[9:24] has ordered me to love four persons, and he has told me that he
[9:28] loves them. These four persons are Ali, al Mirghdad, Abuzar and Salman.
[9:39] When the prophet Mahammaselle Lahuale he was Seldam passed away, Midhdad was deep
[9:46] in sorrow for many days. Mihdad bin Aswad taught people the noble Quran his
[9:54] reading became famous in all of Sham. He stays maide loyal to his religion
[10:01] till his end. When he was almost ninety years old, he passed away
[10:07] in Damashka. The Zaiyarrath of Sahaba Hazaarad Mehdad bin Aswad al Kindi razilaud ala
[10:13] Anhu is five miles from Zenabia, on the road to the center of present
[10:20] day Damascus. Marsha Llah, he was truly a loyal companion. That's all,
[10:28] Abu. Next time, I'll tell you another story. Thanks Marsalam yousufuncle.
[10:35] May Allah bless you. Marsalamabu
