[0:14] A salamu aleikum walekum salaam. How was your school today? It was good?
[0:21] Uncle? How was your work? It was fireable? So have you
[0:26] finished your homework? Yes? Uncle, I had finished that as soon as
[0:31] I reached home. Very good, Abu. So are you ready for the
[0:35] story, then I am uncle. The story of Hazad Bilal bin Raba rose.
[0:46] One morning, Bilal left his house and went to Holy Kaba. He
[0:51] saw that there were many idols kept in front of the Holy Kaba, golden
[0:56] idols, the small wooden idols and stone idol. Oh you unable idols,
[1:03] he shouted, How can you defend yourselves? You do not deserve worship.
[1:08] You will become extinct. Some day Bilal left Holy Kaba and returned to his
[1:15] master's house. When he entered the house, he heard the shouts of his
[1:22] master along with his friends, but he didn't mind them. Suddenly, a
[1:27] friend of his master opened the door and went running to speak to Omayah.
[1:34] He went directly to Omayah and whispered something in his ear. When Omayah heard
[1:40] this, his face was now red with anger. Are you sure about what
[1:47] you saw? Maya asked the man. Yes, I saw it. With
[1:51] my own eyes, replied the man. I've seen him with Mohammed many times
[1:56] as well. We'll teach him a lesson tomorrow, said Omaya. The people
[2:01] of Marca saw Bellal being dragged to the city square. The next day,
[2:07] Omaya and his friends dragged the bound Belal. The evil man began to torture
[2:16] Bilal. He was tied with ropes and made to lie on the burning hot
[2:24] desert sand at mid Lool. He was then asked to forget the God of
[2:30] Islam and worship their great idols, but Billal was strong in his new faith.
[2:38] He refused to worship the idols and kept crying ahad Ah'd, meaning one
[2:47] God, one God. The torches continued and were increased. Hot iron rod
[2:57] was stamped on his pained body, yet Bilal would not yield. On one
[3:04] hot day, Bilal lay on the burning hot sand tight to the ground.
[3:09] A very heavy stone was placed over his chest. Bilal could no longer bear
[3:16] the heat and the load was so great. He had also grown weak.
[3:25] In that condition. He was even denied water to drink. He lay there
[3:32] with his lost senses. As the day neared its end it became cooler,
[3:42] he regained his consciousness, He found that the heavy stone was no more on
[3:46] his chest. He wondered who had come to free him from his pain.
[3:53] His heavy eyes slowly opened, only to look at the bright, smiling face
[4:00] of Prophet Mohammedsala Lahuald. He was seldom Prophet had heard and seen the torture
[4:06] of Bilal, paining him extremely to learn that a true believer should suffer in
[4:14] such a manner. He also felt pity for the poor man. He asked
[4:19] Abu Baker Razialau ala Anhu to purchase Bilal from Omayah and set him free.
[4:27] Abu Baker did as he was told and purchased Bilal from Omayah. Bilal was
[4:33] now a free man. Prophet set many other slaves free as well. He
[4:40] insisted that slaves be treated fairly and kindly. The days in Maka was nearing
[4:47] an end, Bilal, Quin Rabbah and other followers of Islam went to Madina
[4:53] as Prophet ordered. Blad's patience and faith in Allah caused him to be chosen
[5:00] by the Prophet to call to people of Madina to prayers for the first time.
[5:05] In Madina, the town resonated with the Azan as hazard Bilal razielaud ala
[5:12] Anu recited it. There is also one incident that happened when a few Sahaba
[5:18] started getting jealous of Belal and his asan. They met the prophet and complained
[5:25] to him that Belal does not pronounce ashadu allah illaha the Arabic way. The
[5:30] prophet said he loved the pronunciation in the African way more than the Arabic way
[5:36] because of his sincerity towards Islam. When Bilal recited the prayer call, all
[5:45] the Muslims of Madina went to the mosque and prayed along with the prophet.
[5:51] One day, the people of Madina heard the prayer call away before the prayer
[5:57] time. The people who confused and ran towards a mosque. When they were
[6:02] all gathered, they realized that there was a large army outside Madina waiting to
[6:08] attack them. The prophet Mohamasala Lahaali he was seldom gathered the men and defended
[6:15] the attacks successfully the cause of the warning. Months passed and Prophet mahamaselle A
[6:23] Lahuali was seldom had departed from this world. Bilal was grief stricken and he
[6:29] cried for many days. He went to recite the asan and when he came
[6:34] to recite the name of the Prophet, he was overcome with grief and broke
[6:40] down in tears. When the people heard this, they too broke down in
[6:46] tears and started sobbing uncontrollably. Bilal managed to complete the Azan with great difficulty.
[6:56] After that day, he decided to no longer side the Azan as the
[7:00] grief was just too much for him to handle. He couldn't stay in Medina
[7:08] anymore, so he joined the Muslim's army settled in Damascus. One day,
[7:15] as he was sleeping in Damascus, he saw the Prophet in a dream.
[7:19] The prophet asked him why wasn't Bilal visiting him in Medina. As soon as
[7:26] he was awake, he set out for the city of Madina. Upon his
[7:30] arrival in Madina, the grandsons of Prophet mahamoselle Alahuadi he was seldom came to
[7:35] visit him. Bilal had deep love and affection for them, and he was
[7:42] overjoyed to meet them. When the grandsons of the prophet requested him, he
[7:47] recited the Azan for one last time. The people of Medina were surprised to
[7:54] hear his voice. They were reminded of the days when the prophet lived.
[8:00] When they heard the wives of Bilal, they came out of their houses in
[8:03] tears. After a few days, hazard Bilal razielaud Alah'nhu returned to Damascus,
[8:11] and he eventually pass away. We are Muslims today because of the great sacrifices
[8:18] by our beloved prophet Mahammaselle Lahawali, you are seldom and others. It is
[8:24] through our beloved Huzard Bilal's razilaud Alahan who's cries of absolute oneness, absolute oneness
[8:33] ahad Ahad, that we are blessed today with faith. It is through their
[8:39] sacrifices that we are able to recite the Holy Quran today. Every time we
[8:46] hear Akari recite, let us remember Hazad Bilal Razia l'aud Alah'anhu's cries. Marshallah,
[8:58] he was truly allowyer companion. That's all about. Next time, I'll
[9:03] tell you another story. Thanks my Salaam you shu funcle, may Allah bless
