[0:01] Speaker 1: The Second Date Update on kJ three. Nolan, welcome to
[0:06] Speaker 1: the second add update there. First of all, welcome to
[0:10] Speaker 1: Oklahoma City. How long have you been here?
[0:11] Speaker 2: Thanks, I've only lived here for about six months. Been
[0:14] Speaker 2: a pretty pretty new transition for me.
[0:16] Speaker 1: Obviously, you're on the dating scene, right.
[0:19] Speaker 2: I really haven't had a chance to date too much
[0:21] Speaker 2: since I moved here. But I did finally meet someone
[0:25] Speaker 2: that I was excited about on one of the apps,
[0:27] Speaker 2: and uh, yeah, we went out and we had a
[0:28] Speaker 2: fun date. She even said, yeah, we should do this again.
[0:31] Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, all right, So finally in my head,
[0:34] Speaker 2: this is this is gonna work out, you know, six months.
[0:36] Speaker 2: I guess it's not too long, but yeah, it's about time.
[0:38] Speaker 1: Okay.
[0:39] Speaker 2: But now, actually I can't get it to answer me
[0:42] Speaker 2: back at all. I'm being ghosted. It feels like I
[0:44] Speaker 2: don't know. I've listened to the Second Date Update all
[0:47] Speaker 2: the time. It kind of seems to be a thing
[0:48] Speaker 2: here because it's a comment for for the Oklahoma women.
[0:53] Speaker 3: That's true, that's true, And if you listen all the time,
[0:56] Speaker 3: you know we're gonna get her on the phone, and
[0:58] Speaker 3: most likely you're not getting a second day.
[1:00] Speaker 1: But at Lastia find out maybe a little more about
[1:03] Speaker 1: the way the Oklahoma women think. I have hope.
[1:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, we still get to hear what's happening.
[1:07] Speaker 1: Okay, cool, all right, all right, we'll talk to her
[1:09] Speaker 1: coming up.
[1:09] Speaker 3: Second date update kJ one, O three, TJ and a
[1:11] Speaker 3: man in the morning. Haley's ready for the second date
[1:15] Speaker 3: update and okay, So Nolan told us, you know, he's
[1:19] Speaker 3: kind of new to the area.
[1:21] Speaker 1: He finally met someone. It was you, Haley, you were
[1:23] Speaker 1: the one. He was like, Wow, what a dame. This
[1:25] Speaker 1: is someone I can date.
[1:26] Speaker 3: Yes, and then he's like, well, is this how Oklahoma
[1:30] Speaker 3: women are?
[1:30] Speaker 1: Because one day and you're just kind of ignoring him.
[1:32] Speaker 4: When we first started talking, he told me he was
[1:35] Speaker 4: a lawyer, and I thought, cool, I've never dated a
[1:38] Speaker 4: lawyer before.
[1:40] Speaker 5: And then we went on.
[1:41] Speaker 4: The date and I started asking him about it naturally, and.
[1:45] Speaker 5: Things just didn't really add up, Like when I asked
[1:51] Speaker 5: what kind of law he practiced, he couldn't really explain it.
[1:54] Speaker 5: At one point he was like, I mostly do court stuff,
[1:58] Speaker 5: which really is then an answer just and then I
[2:03] Speaker 5: asked if he spends most time, like most of his
[2:06] Speaker 5: work time in court or writing briefs or whatever, and
[2:09] Speaker 5: he kind of changed the subject, so I don't know.
[2:12] Speaker 4: After the date, I googled him and I couldn't find
[2:15] Speaker 4: a law firm LinkedIn, like, absolutely nothing, not even on
[2:19] Speaker 4: his social media that showed that he was a.
[2:22] Speaker 5: Lawyer of any kind.
[2:23] Speaker 4: So my verdict is he made the whole thing up.
[2:28] Speaker 3: Okay, Nolan here, let's just ask him, Nolan, are you
[2:36] Speaker 3: I mean, are you a lawyer?
[2:39] Speaker 2: Well? Yeah, you know the problem is you're probably not
[2:42] Speaker 2: going to find too much about any of the professional
[2:45] Speaker 2: stuff because, like I said, I just moved here, so
[2:48] Speaker 2: I haven't really gotten all that stuff established quite yet.
[2:51] Speaker 4: Okay, but I couldn't find anything about you from anywhere
[2:56] Speaker 4: at all.
[2:57] Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, you know, I'm not I'm not a hot
[3:00] Speaker 2: at the big time famous attorney or anything like that.
[3:02] Speaker 2: So I mean I'm not going to pop up the
[3:04] Speaker 2: top of the Google searches, I know, but.
[3:06] Speaker 4: Attorneys usually exist somewhere on the internet, right, I mean.
[3:11] Speaker 1: We can just like where do you work? Where are
[3:13] Speaker 1: you aware?
[3:13] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[3:13] Speaker 1: Where are you now?
[3:14] Speaker 2: Well, I'm just kind of like between firms right now.
[3:18] Speaker 2: I'm trying to find something a little more established, but
[3:21] Speaker 2: I'm sort of freelancing, so I'm just I'm kind of
[3:24] Speaker 2: in the vapor right now.
[3:25] Speaker 4: Why didn't you answer basic questions about your job?
[3:28] Speaker 2: Then? Well? I did? I did. I told you I
[3:31] Speaker 2: worked mostly in like, you know, civil litigation, contract type things.
[3:37] Speaker 4: That's exactly what I'm talking about.
[3:39] Speaker 2: Though, What what? What is what you're talking about?
[3:42] Speaker 5: You just sound like someone who watched this thesion of
[3:46] Speaker 5: like suits or whatever.
[3:50] Speaker 3: Okay, okay, So are you saying, Haley that you object
[3:56] Speaker 3: to going out again because you don't think Nolan is
[4:00] Speaker 3: a real lay Yeah?
[4:02] Speaker 2: I get an objection, nice, very nice, nice touch.
[4:05] Speaker 5: I do object.
[4:07] Speaker 2: Okay, So answer me this cross examined. Why would I
[4:10] Speaker 2: lie about being a lawyer?
[4:12] Speaker 1: There you go, that's a great don't I don't know.
[4:15] Speaker 5: That's what I'm asking.
[4:18] Speaker 2: If I was going to invent some career and try
[4:20] Speaker 2: to impress you, I'd say I was. I say it
[4:22] Speaker 2: was a rock star or a tech millionaire, or an
[4:25] Speaker 2: app developer or something.
[4:27] Speaker 5: Your brain surgeon. Really maybe, but nothing about your story
[4:32] Speaker 5: made me feel confident that you were telling me the truth.
[4:35] Speaker 4: That That's just where I'm coming from.
[4:37] Speaker 2: No, I don't know what else to tell you. I mean,
[4:42] Speaker 2: I can I can find my diploma, but I can
[4:44] Speaker 2: send it to you. Good.
[4:48] Speaker 1: Okay, so you're not going to let you improve it?
[4:51] Speaker 4: I am good?
[4:53] Speaker 5: All right?
[4:54] Speaker 2: Oh my god, I swear I'm a lawyer. I mean,
[4:57] Speaker 2: like I said, I just moved here getting established. Apparently
[5:02] Speaker 2: I'm just terrible at talking about my own job. All right, all.
[5:08] Speaker 1: Right, well, Haley, thanks for coming on on second date update.
[5:11] Speaker 5: Thanks for having me.
[5:13] Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I believe you. If that counts for anything,
[5:16] Speaker 1: I don't know.
[5:17] Speaker 2: All right, well, I appreciate that.
[5:20] Speaker 3: But Nolan, you're you are like you have a diploma,
[5:23] Speaker 3: you have a degree past the.
[5:25] Speaker 2: Bar, You're I've got a degree, I've got an Esquire
[5:28] Speaker 2: after my name.
[5:32] Speaker 1: Thank you for coming on the second date up date.
[5:33] Speaker 1: We appreciate it.
[5:34] Speaker 2: Hey, guys, thank you so much. And you know, if
[5:37] Speaker 2: there's any more Oklahoma women who work.
[5:39] Speaker 1: Ghost sounds good.
[5:42] Speaker 5: Thanks John.
[5:44] Speaker 3: Okay, Courtney kind of believes him. Courtney says he should
[5:47] Speaker 3: have just said I have a law degree, I'm looking
[5:49] Speaker 3: for legal work. There we go, instead of pretending he
[5:52] Speaker 3: already had it. I think she's telling him how to
[5:54] Speaker 3: lie about.
[5:55] Speaker 6: But you know, at least it's the closer to the truth.
[5:57] Speaker 3: He did offer to show him shows his degree, so
[6:00] Speaker 3: I feel like that's major. Lawrence says, trust your gut.
[6:03] Speaker 3: Her has told her something wasn't right. You gotta go
[6:05] Speaker 3: with it.
[6:05] Speaker 1: Thanks guys. kJ went on three E. TJ and Amanda
[6:08] Speaker 1: in the morning. Okay, Emily, what did you want to
[6:11] Speaker 1: say about this?
[6:12] Speaker 6: Life is too short? There are too many people in
[6:14] Speaker 6: this world who are lovely. If people are acting black
[6:17] Speaker 6: when nothing's on the line, you have to get out
[6:20] Speaker 6: of there. Okay, Okay, what is this? This isn't like
[6:23] Speaker 6: one of those things you only know three people like.
[6:25] Speaker 6: We have the Internet. You can find any person on
[6:28] Speaker 6: the face of the planet if you really wanted to.
[6:29] Speaker 4: That's true.
[6:30] Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, this gud being a lawyer, we can't find
[6:33] Speaker 3: m Yeah exactly.
[6:35] Speaker 1: Okay.
[6:36] Speaker 3: Ryan says, I'd give him one chance to explain. Maybe
[6:39] Speaker 3: he just passed the bar somewhere else and hasn't gotten licensed.
[6:42] Speaker 1: Here in Oklahoma. That's a real thing, okay.
[6:45] Speaker 3: And then Melissa says, who lies about being a lawyer?
[6:50] Speaker 3: It's it's a random career to.
[6:51] Speaker 1: Make out something else. Maybe it's harder to can't lie
[6:55] Speaker 1: by being a doctor. You might be put to the
[6:56] Speaker 1: test on that, So lawyers easier.
[6:58] Speaker 3: Kayla says, maybe he saying lawyer sounded better than staying unemployed.
[7:03] Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, that's true.
[7:05] Speaker 3: Oh, Jason says, not every attorney has a huge online presence.
[7:09] Speaker 5: That is very true.
[7:10] Speaker 1: That way, if he's new.
[7:11] Speaker 3: And okay, see, I wouldn't automatically assume he's lying.
[7:16] Speaker 1: Okay, all right, all right, thank you, thank you.
[7:19] Speaker 3: I'll give him the benefit of the doubt just because
[7:22] Speaker 3: if he is a lawyer, I don't want to get
[7:23] Speaker 1: Sued, right, right, we need to be safe here a right,
