[0:01] Speaker 1: The Second Date Update on KJ103.
[0:04] Speaker 2: Hey, Ryan and OKC. Welcome to the Second Date Update.
[0:07] Speaker 3: Hey, Ryan. Hey, guys. Thank you so much.
[0:10] Speaker 4: We got to get you another date with Nicole because
[0:13] Speaker 4: you thought, you know what? This is definitely the one
[0:16] Speaker 4: that has some potential.
[0:17] Speaker 3: I really thought so. I'm a little confused. We've been
[0:20] Speaker 3: texting for a while and we talked on the phone
[0:23] Speaker 3: like a couple of times, had like great just like funny,
[0:27] Speaker 3: fun conversations. And then we finally had dinner and I
[0:30] Speaker 3: don't know, we just like, we had like great chemistry. Yeah,
[0:34] Speaker 3: I mean, and then we just, like, talked for a
[0:36] Speaker 3: long time. It was, like, one of those dinners where
[0:38] Speaker 3: we were, like, done, and the server was coming around
[0:41] Speaker 3: being like, can I get you guys anything else? Kind
[0:43] Speaker 3: of like, can I.
[0:44] Speaker 2: Push you along?
[0:44] Speaker 3: Can I put.
[0:46] Speaker 2: You guys at the table?
[0:48] Speaker 1: Exactly.
[0:48] Speaker 3: But it's not like she was trying to escape, you know? Like,
[0:51] Speaker 3: we were having a good time. Nice. Okay.
[0:53] Speaker 2: Okay. Sounds all positive so far.
[0:55] Speaker 3: Yeah. And then, you know, when we were leaving, I
[0:57] Speaker 3: said I'd call her, and I did. And she hasn't answered.
[1:02] Speaker 3: And then I've texted her. She's not texting me back.
[1:05] Speaker 3: So either, like, I completely misread this or, like, I
[1:11] Speaker 3: don't know if something happened. I didn't pick up on it,
[1:13] Speaker 3: but it's weird.
[1:15] Speaker 4: Well, you know how this works. We're going to get
[1:17] Speaker 4: Nicole on the phone and find out what happened.
[1:19] Speaker 2: We'll get an answer.
[1:20] Speaker 3: Awesome, guys.
[1:21] Speaker 2: Hey, Nicole.
[1:24] Speaker 4: Hi, hi, hi.
[1:25] Speaker 1: Sorry, it was on mute.
[1:27] Speaker 2: It's okay.
[1:27] Speaker 3: Been on mute for the communication after this date as well.
[1:30] Speaker 4: Yeah, apparently he's been on mute getting back to.
[1:33] Speaker 2: Ryan because he hasn't heard from you.
[1:35] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[1:36] Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know. He's one of those people where
[1:40] Speaker 1: like every little smell bothers him, you know?
[1:44] Speaker 2: Like how?
[1:46] Speaker 1: Well, like, okay, so we're sitting down and he's like, Oh, yeah,
[1:51] Speaker 1: your perfume. I mean, it smells good, but it's just really.
[1:55] Speaker 3: Really strong.
[1:56] Speaker 1: It's kind of giving me a headache. And I was like, okay.
[2:00] Speaker 1: And then like he comes out of the bathroom and
[2:02] Speaker 1: he's like that air freshener they're using in there. impressioner
[2:06] Speaker 1: is like making my sinuses go crazy. Like it's going
[2:09] Speaker 1: to mess me up for two days. And then like
[2:12] Speaker 1: the server who's cleaning the table next to us, he goes, um,
[2:16] Speaker 1: that cleaner smells like great chemicals. And like, he couldn't
[2:20] Speaker 1: enjoy his food.
[2:21] Speaker 2: And- Smells are an issue for some people. Actually, smells
[2:24] Speaker 2: are an issue.
[2:24] Speaker 4: Some smells for me, like perfumes and stuff, will give
[2:28] Speaker 4: me a headache, make me kind of sick.
[2:30] Speaker 2: I think I've got sinus infections. I've got a big nose.
[2:33] Speaker 1: Well, it's just like, hey, man, like the world has smells,
[2:38] Speaker 1: you know, like lots of them.
[2:39] Speaker 4: And like..
[2:41] Speaker 1: Apparently, like everyone is trying to personally attack Ryan. I
[2:45] Speaker 1: don't know. It was a lot for me.
[2:47] Speaker 4: Ryan, come on into this conversation.
[2:50] Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, that's a real thing. Like I do
[2:53] Speaker 3: have a sensitivity to fragrances.
[2:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, no, and I'm not saying that you don't. I mean,
[2:58] Speaker 1: I get it.
[2:58] Speaker 3: Yeah, but you're, like, making fun of me right now
[3:00] Speaker 3: for it. Well, I'm not making fun of you.
[3:02] Speaker 1: I'm making fun of the fact that, like, I had
[3:04] Speaker 1: to hear about every single smell.
[3:07] Speaker 2: Oh, I see what you're saying. Maybe we don't have
[3:09] Speaker 2: to talk about it so much. Because you say, oh,
[3:11] Speaker 2: the smell is... But, I mean, it is happening. It's like, oh,
[3:14] Speaker 2: I'm kind of getting a headache from this.
[3:16] Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it gives me a headache. Like, my
[3:18] Speaker 3: eyes will burn. My nose will, like... get all irritated. Like,
[3:21] Speaker 3: what do you want me to do?
[3:23] Speaker 1: Maybe just don't announce it like every 45 seconds.
[3:27] Speaker 3: Okay. I mean, but your perfume like really was giving
[3:30] Speaker 3: me a headache. I'm sorry, but like, if you want
[3:32] Speaker 3: me to have a headache on our next date, wear
[3:34] Speaker 3: that perfume.
[3:35] Speaker 2: Okay. Hello.
[3:38] Speaker 3: Hello.
[3:39] Speaker 1: That is kind of what I'm talking about right there.
[3:41] Speaker 3: It's an actual medical condition. Like if I had cancer
[3:45] Speaker 3: or something, you wouldn't make fun of that.
[3:47] Speaker 1: Oh my God, Ryan, you don't have cancer. Your medical
[3:51] Speaker 1: condition is that you don't like my beautiful perfume.
[3:56] Speaker 3: No, I'm just saying like you wouldn't tell somebody with
[3:58] Speaker 3: another different medical condition just to get over it. I'm
[4:01] Speaker 3: just saying it's a real medical condition.
[4:02] Speaker 4: So Nicole, is it that, is the red flag that
[4:06] Speaker 4: he's sensitive to the smells and you like your perfume?
[4:09] Speaker 2: It's him talking about it?
[4:10] Speaker 1: Like, Very simple. Like, I don't want to spend a
[4:13] Speaker 1: relationship where my Bath and Body Works candles can send
[4:16] Speaker 1: Ryan to the ER. That's what's going on.
[4:19] Speaker 2: You are trying to make it fun.
[4:21] Speaker 3: A little bit.
[4:21] Speaker 2: I mean, but that's a big deal. Candles are important
[4:24] Speaker 2: and if we can't use them, that's a problem. I
[4:26] Speaker 2: get it.
[4:26] Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
[4:27] Speaker 1: I think you have to stop talking about it. It's
[4:29] Speaker 1: nothing against you personally. It's just like, There are other
[4:32] Speaker 1: things I want to talk about.
[4:33] Speaker 2: Okay. If he stops talking about it, how about another date?
[4:37] Speaker 1: I mean, I don't want to inhibit him.
[4:39] Speaker 2: Okay. All right.
[4:40] Speaker 1: All right.
[4:41] Speaker 4: He needs to find another girl with these sensitivities and
[4:43] Speaker 4: they can just stay in a room.
[4:45] Speaker 2: So there's a lot of, and then not making fun.
[4:47] Speaker 2: There's a lot of people from the COVID era. Yeah,
[4:49] Speaker 2: that's true. This is a real thing. I get it.
[4:51] Speaker 3: I get it.
[4:52] Speaker 2: Still can't smell things.
[4:53] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[4:54] Speaker 2: Okay. Well, no, that's actually the opposite.
[4:55] Speaker 4: Nevermind.
[4:56] Speaker 3: Okay. Bye.
[4:56] Speaker 2: Okay.
[4:57] Speaker 4: Okay.
[4:57] Speaker 2: Nicole, we're not getting another date here. Thanks for coming
[4:59] Speaker 2: on the second date update.
[5:01] Speaker 3: I don't think so. Well, good luck. Good luck, Ryan.
[5:03] Speaker 1: Okay.
[5:03] Speaker 2: Bye. Bye. I'm done with you guys.
[5:07] Speaker 1: Ryan, no.
[5:08] Speaker 4: Like I said, if I'm around a scent that bothers
[5:11] Speaker 4: my nose long enough, I literally will get a sinus infection.
[5:14] Speaker 1: I did not know that was a thing for you.
[5:15] Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, I'm not asking the world to stop
[5:17] Speaker 3: having smells. I know how it is. Fragrances actually give
[5:21] Speaker 3: me a headache. My eyes burn. I don't know. It
[5:26] Speaker 3: just sticks with me for hours. I can't get over it.
[5:28] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[5:29] Speaker 3: Okay.
[5:29] Speaker 1: Well, maybe.
[5:30] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[5:31] Speaker 2: Sorry.
[5:32] Speaker 3: Sorry.
[5:33] Speaker 2: I'm sad for you. Sounds awful. Really does sound awful.
[5:36] Speaker 2: All right, well, Ryan, thanks for coming on the Second
[5:38] Speaker 2: Date Update, buddy.
[5:39] Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks for trying, guys. Appreciate it.
[5:41] Speaker 4: Sure.
