[0:01] Speaker 1: The Second Date update on KJE three, Ethan, Welcome to
[0:06] Speaker 1: the second Date Update. I wanted to get you another
[0:10] Speaker 1: date with Madison here which you took her out for
[0:13] Speaker 1: a fancy dinner.
[0:14] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[0:15] Speaker 3: We went out for dinner at this little Italian place
[0:18] Speaker 3: called the Olive Garden.
[0:21] Speaker 2: Oh, yes, I've heard of it.
[0:23] Speaker 3: Yes.
[0:25] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[0:25] Speaker 2: That was a great first date, easy conversation. There was
[0:29] Speaker 2: some laughs, no, no real awkward moments.
[0:32] Speaker 4: Yeah, you seem fun with you.
[0:34] Speaker 5: You seemed like a hang.
[0:35] Speaker 3: Yeah, and and I we had a great time. And
[0:38] Speaker 3: at the end of the date, I told her, I
[0:39] Speaker 3: was like, I'll call you, you know, we'll do this again.
[0:43] Speaker 3: And she kind of just laughed and then said to
[0:45] Speaker 3: good luck. And I thought she was joking. I thought
[0:48] Speaker 3: she was joking.
[0:49] Speaker 2: I thought it was just banter.
[0:51] Speaker 5: Good luck.
[0:52] Speaker 1: I'm Here's why I think you feel that because you
[0:55] Speaker 1: came you came out strong with Yeah, we went to
[0:58] Speaker 1: this fancy, little Italian place, it's called the Olive Gardens.
[1:01] Speaker 1: I know, sarcasm is part of your.
[1:03] Speaker 5: Sense of humor.
[1:04] Speaker 1: So when she says, oh, yeah, we'll go out again,
[1:07] Speaker 1: good luck with that, you're thinking more Sam exactly.
[1:13] Speaker 2: But so you get it.
[1:14] Speaker 3: But now it's like she won't answer my text, she
[1:16] Speaker 3: won't answer my calls, and I'm starting to actually think
[1:20] Speaker 3: that she wasn't joking.
[1:21] Speaker 1: Okay, so we will find out. We're gonna get Madison
[1:24] Speaker 1: on the phone and see if we can, you know,
[1:26] Speaker 1: talk her into some more unlimited breadsticks. Sounds like a
[1:29] Speaker 1: plan to me, maybe get you out on another date here.
[1:32] Speaker 2: Let's give it a shot.
[1:34] Speaker 1: Hi, Madison, Welcome the second date update. Hello, we Understan
[1:39] Speaker 1: Ethan took you on a fancy date to the Olive
[1:42] Speaker 1: Garden finus of Italian males.
[1:44] Speaker 2: Bye.
[1:44] Speaker 5: I mean the breadsticks are amazing. So see, I see.
[1:48] Speaker 1: I can tell in your voice you seem to be
[1:51] Speaker 1: someone that has fun with sarcasm. So at the end
[1:53] Speaker 1: of the date when he said let's do this again
[1:55] Speaker 1: and you said good luck, sarcasm or.
[2:00] Speaker 5: I mean, honestly, it was kind of terrible. At the
[2:04] Speaker 5: very end, the waiter asked if I wanted a box
[2:06] Speaker 5: from my leftoverom talked around. I was like no, and
[2:09] Speaker 5: then Ethan was like, well, you're not going to box
[2:12] Speaker 5: thoze up and I'm like no, I don't want them,
[2:14] Speaker 5: and he's like, well, let me take it. I'll eat it.
[2:17] Speaker 5: And I just I feel like that was such a
[2:19] Speaker 5: weird like quirk that it was a total turn off, so.
[2:27] Speaker 2: You weren't going to eat it. So, I mean, I
[2:29] Speaker 2: don't like to waste food. There's a lot of people
[2:32] Speaker 2: in this world who would have eaten that.
[2:33] Speaker 5: Yes, it's not a deal, yeah, but I don't. I
[2:36] Speaker 5: mean it was half eaten and it was you know,
[2:39] Speaker 5: it was shrimps Alfardo, so like, you can't. I don't
[2:42] Speaker 5: know who how did this go down?
[2:44] Speaker 1: Ethan?
[2:45] Speaker 2: The waiter asked Madison for a box. You said no,
[2:49] Speaker 2: She said no, And I was like, why would we
[2:52] Speaker 2: throw away perfectly good food?
[2:54] Speaker 5: I mean, I guess I don't like leftovers and just like, oh.
[2:59] Speaker 2: Okay, but I like leftovers, and there was enough left
[3:03] Speaker 2: over for another meal, like a whole other meal.
[3:06] Speaker 5: Yeah, but that's so gross. I mean, you take somebody
[3:08] Speaker 5: else's food homes.
[3:10] Speaker 1: See, I'm kind of with that. I'm kind of like,
[3:12] Speaker 1: I'm kind of like when someone's been eating on a meal.
[3:15] Speaker 1: Now I'm taking this home. The germs are like living
[3:18] Speaker 1: in the fridge.
[3:19] Speaker 4: I'm if I was going to kiss you at the
[3:21] Speaker 4: end of the night, it'd be the same germs.
[3:22] Speaker 5: So, like, who dres Let's just go, let's just get
[3:24] Speaker 5: in on it.
[3:25] Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Pasta, you eat it up and
[3:29] Speaker 2: you kill the germs.
[3:30] Speaker 4: There you go.
[3:31] Speaker 1: That's what microwaves are for.
[3:32] Speaker 5: They're germ killers.
[3:33] Speaker 1: This is such a red flag for you that he's like,
[3:36] Speaker 1: don't waste her pasta. I will eat the rest of
[3:39] Speaker 1: the pasta. And he likes you enough to trust that
[3:42] Speaker 1: whatever bacteria was living in your mouth, he's taking it.
[3:45] Speaker 5: Well, yeah, but how many people have he gone on
[3:48] Speaker 5: dates with and eating their food? And then like, if
[3:51] Speaker 5: you're sharing everyone's food. I mean, my mom always told me, like,
[3:54] Speaker 5: you don't share chapstick, so this feels like it's the
[3:57] Speaker 5: same thing.
[3:59] Speaker 1: I mean, anybody's about the jobstick.
[4:03] Speaker 3: I like your mob.
[4:03] Speaker 1: She sounds very smart.
[4:04] Speaker 5: It was just unbelievably weird.
[4:06] Speaker 3: I don't know what No second dates because I didn't
[4:09] Speaker 3: want a perfectly good play to pasta to end up
[4:11] Speaker 3: in the dumpster.
[4:12] Speaker 5: No second date because I think teaking home your date
[4:15] Speaker 5: poppy eaten food is just weird.
[4:20] Speaker 3: Like, we can get past this.
[4:21] Speaker 1: I know I'm on both sides. I don't want to
[4:23] Speaker 1: eat off someone else's meal, but also a whole plate
[4:26] Speaker 1: apasta that I could perfectly eat tomorrow, Madison, thanks for
[4:30] Speaker 1: coming on the second date update.
[4:32] Speaker 5: Thanks girl, Thanks, Thanks.
[4:34] Speaker 2: Look, I'm not even going to defend myself anymore. By
[4:36] Speaker 2: the way, guys, I just honestly, I think most people
[4:39] Speaker 2: would have done the same thing. Food's expensive these days.
[4:42] Speaker 2: If someone's throwing out away half of a plate, apasta,
[4:45] Speaker 2: why not eat it instead of wasting it?
[4:47] Speaker 1: Yet, you gotta do you. Thanks for coming on the
[4:50] Speaker 1: second date update Ethan.
[4:52] Speaker 2: All Right, cheers, bye.
[4:54] Speaker 4: This is absolutely crazy. These women in their icks and
[4:58] Speaker 4: they're red flag.
[4:59] Speaker 2: They're okay.
[5:00] Speaker 4: First off, the guy has just is justifiably told himself
[5:05] Speaker 4: why he deserves Like why he thinks that having this
[5:08] Speaker 4: food is still good? Okay, I understand. First off, let's
[5:12] Speaker 4: start with this as the woman. One day, she's gonna
[5:15] Speaker 4: start dating someone, she's gonna fall in love, they're gonna
[5:17] Speaker 4: have a happy family, and then they're going to go
[5:19] Speaker 4: to restaurants and then they're gonna be like, hey, would
[5:22] Speaker 4: you like to, you know, take some to go food?
[5:24] Speaker 4: I promise you. One day she's gonna be like, no,
[5:27] Speaker 4: I'm good, and the husband at the time is gonna
[5:30] Speaker 4: be like, no, I actually have to box that up,
[5:31] Speaker 4: I'll take that home and I'll eat it. Well, what's
[5:33] Speaker 4: gonna happen? Then, what's gonna happen? Whenever she has kids
[5:36] Speaker 4: and they have all this extra food and she's like, no, man,
[5:38] Speaker 4: this is crazy. No box all that up. We'll take
[5:40] Speaker 4: it all home and you guys can have that small
[5:42] Speaker 4: for lunch. You go like, I have a wife, I've
[5:45] Speaker 4: got three kids, and whenever we go out to eat,
[5:48] Speaker 4: it's amazing how much food, especially my wife doesn't eat,
[5:52] Speaker 4: and she's like, I'm not going to eat that, And
[5:55] Speaker 4: I say, no, let's box that up. I will take
[5:57] Speaker 4: that home and I will eat that. There are days
[5:59] Speaker 4: when you go out and you go to Mickey Mantles
[6:02] Speaker 4: and you buy a fifty dollars steak and you only
[6:04] Speaker 4: eat two or three bites of it, and then you say, oh,
[6:07] Speaker 4: I don't know if I want to take this home. Yes,
[6:09] Speaker 4: you're taking that fifty dollars home, baby, and tomorrow we
[6:13] Speaker 4: are eating that. So I'm just saying I find it
[6:16] Speaker 4: completely justifiable and find it crazy that if somebody, if
[6:19] Speaker 4: he says, hey, I just want to take that food
[6:21] Speaker 4: home and I'll eat it if you don't want to,
[6:23] Speaker 4: it's completely fun. They're gonna what if things clicked and
[6:26] Speaker 4: they went home and they made out and they made whoopee,
[6:28] Speaker 4: and all of a sudden they had another day and
[6:31] Speaker 4: they were able to and they could establish the connection
[6:34] Speaker 4: and love and all that stuff. That doesn't make any sense.
[6:36] Speaker 4: Why she finds that Anick and I just don't like
[6:39] Speaker 4: leftover food. It doesn't make sense. I promise you, I
[6:43] Speaker 4: promise you. She has had leftover food. She's just not
[6:46] Speaker 4: gonna end it. So I flipping the lid man. So
[6:49] Speaker 4: I just want to tell you, guys. I just want
[6:51] Speaker 4: to tell you guys. I love you, guys. I've had
[6:52] Speaker 4: your guys's phone number in my phone for the last
[6:54] Speaker 4: fifteen years, and I have been meaning to call during
[6:59] Speaker 4: one of these things.
[7:00] Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, wow, thank you Charles. Thank you for
[7:05] Speaker 1: calling finally after fifteen years.
[7:07] Speaker 3: Holiday time.
[7:08] Speaker 2: We love it.
[7:09] Speaker 4: Thank you guys so much. You guys are awesome. I
[7:11] Speaker 4: love to listen to you guys. I hope you guys
[7:12] Speaker 4: have a good day. And I hope one of her
[7:14] Speaker 4: friends looks at her and be like, girl, you're crazy.
[7:17] Speaker 4: I hope she has a bunch of boyfriends and husband
[7:19] Speaker 4: that okay, girlfriends with husband and boyfriend that they I
[7:22] Speaker 4: can do.
[7:22] Speaker 1: This, Charles, Charles, dude once every fifteen years is yeah,
[7:27] Speaker 1: you said everything. Now you probably don't need to call
[7:30] Speaker 1: for another five years, so yeah, right time. No, you're great,
[7:34] Speaker 1: Thanks Charles.
[7:35] Speaker 4: Everybody, thank you so much.
[7:36] Speaker 1: Good night by Charles. He's like, I'm calling it. I'm
[7:42] Speaker 1: here's my soapbox and I'm gonna say everything that made
[7:46] Speaker 1: him call.
[7:46] Speaker 2: I love it, I love it. It's great.
[7:48] Speaker 4: Okay, see that, Charles,
