[0:01] Speaker 1: And That's what You Really Missed with Jenna.
[0:04] Speaker 2: And Kevin An iHeartRadio podcast.
[0:09] Speaker 3: Welcome to and That's what You Really Missed podcast. Season
[0:13] Speaker 3: six fan.
[0:14] Speaker 2: Vote arguably my favorite episodes to do what. I love these.
[0:21] Speaker 2: I love a list. I love voting.
[0:24] Speaker 1: I thought you meant like season six fan votes.
[0:27] Speaker 2: I was like, wol No, just the fan vote episodes
[0:30] Speaker 2: in general, because yes, agreed, I need to check in.
[0:33] Speaker 2: I need to see what everybody thinks because usually we're
[0:35] Speaker 2: I don't know, we've been a line sometimes and other
[0:37] Speaker 2: times like where did that come from? And we don't
[0:40] Speaker 2: really see these in advance. It has revealed to us
[0:45] Speaker 2: as we're doing this, which is the most exciting part.
[0:49] Speaker 1: Sometimes it's also a good reminder of what we recap
[0:52] Speaker 1: this season.
[0:53] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because I mean, we do our own list.
[0:54] Speaker 2: So I'm like, wait, we just watched this, and I
[0:56] Speaker 2: already forgot, like what I was in the Homecoming episode.
[1:00] Speaker 1: I remember, Okay, y'all voted. The people spoke Kevin.
[1:07] Speaker 2: They did, and we voted on favorite episodes, favorite songs,
[1:12] Speaker 2: favorite couples, you know, the things we normally do.
[1:16] Speaker 3: Before we get into that, I want to hear your
[1:19] Speaker 3: thoughts on season six as a whole, I have mixed feelings.
[1:23] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[1:25] Speaker 2: I think there were times when I really saw and
[1:29] Speaker 2: understand people's love for this season and the cast and
[1:34] Speaker 2: Ian's vision for this season and what they were doing. Yeah,
[1:39] Speaker 2: And I think times it worked really really well. Other
[1:42] Speaker 2: times I don't think it wasn't my favorite agreed, And
[1:49] Speaker 2: so I think it's a it's a bit of a
[1:50] Speaker 2: mixed bag. What about you?
[1:53] Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, I mean I producer Sam was telling us
[1:56] Speaker 3: that actually there's a lot of people who wrote in
[1:58] Speaker 3: which we'll go through some of those comments and questions,
[2:02] Speaker 3: comments concerns later, but had said, like, didn't love season
[2:07] Speaker 3: six as a whole the first time around, but after
[2:10] Speaker 3: rewatching with us this past time and season that, it's
[2:15] Speaker 3: been more enjoyable.
[2:16] Speaker 1: It wasn't always my favorite season, but there were Looking
[2:21] Speaker 1: back now, there's so many highlights of this past season
[2:24] Speaker 1: that I love, like Jigsu and like.
[2:29] Speaker 3: As the season went on, I became more attached to
[2:33] Speaker 3: the newvies.
[2:34] Speaker 1: It was like bittersweet towards the end. It was like
[2:38] Speaker 1: those episodes that we finished with were really strong.
[2:41] Speaker 3: It did feel like there was like a freedom about it.
[2:44] Speaker 3: So I did enjoy that a lot a lot more
[2:48] Speaker 3: than I thought I would.
[2:50] Speaker 2: For sure, the freedom was palpable. That was really fun
[2:53] Speaker 2: to experience. And I do like that we were still doing,
[2:56] Speaker 2: Like there were just really special moments with Alex coming
[3:01] Speaker 2: on and seeing with that choir, and it was a
[3:03] Speaker 2: season of big swings. Yes, that's right, and like reformatting
[3:09] Speaker 2: the idea, the season itself was a big swing. You
[3:11] Speaker 2: brought in all these new characters, which I think worked
[3:14] Speaker 2: really really well, and you're also changing the dynamics. You
[3:18] Speaker 2: have Rachel and Kurt and Blaine all being show choir coaches, right,
[3:26] Speaker 2: and so it's a big deal and I think so
[3:29] Speaker 2: much of that was successful.
[3:31] Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, let's get into some of the voting. Well,
[3:35] Speaker 3: let's do episode first favorite episode. These are the voting
[3:39] Speaker 3: results you wrote in you spoke, You told us your thoughts.
[3:47] Speaker 1: Which we love to hear. And let's start number five
[3:51] Speaker 1: on that list, Dreams Come True.
[3:54] Speaker 2: That's surprising to me.
[3:56] Speaker 1: That is number five.
[3:57] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Number four is Jagged Little Tapestry.
[4:02] Speaker 1: Not as surprising to me. No, I think that feels
[4:06] Speaker 1: right appropriate. Yeah, number three hurt Locker Part two.
[4:13] Speaker 2: I don't know if this is surprising or not, because
[4:15] Speaker 2: this is exactly what we were talking about when people
[4:18] Speaker 2: went back and watched it again, because part one is diabolical.
[4:24] Speaker 1: But part two comes back around.
[4:27] Speaker 2: It really does. Number two two thousand and nine people
[4:33] Speaker 2: love the nostalgia.
[4:35] Speaker 1: Definitely and Number one in a surprising turn of events
[4:42] Speaker 1: a wedding.
[4:43] Speaker 2: Do you think that's surprising?
[4:46] Speaker 1: I liked the episode.
[4:49] Speaker 3: I don't know if it's surprising as much as like, Okay,
[4:54] Speaker 3: maybe I don't see it as clearly as y'all do
[4:58] Speaker 3: you know or feels deeply it, But I also think
[5:02] Speaker 3: I have like other emotional parts of that episode light
[5:05] Speaker 3: were couldn't know that, but but you know, overall, I
[5:08] Speaker 3: get it.
[5:09] Speaker 1: I get it.
[5:10] Speaker 2: It's such a satisfying episode to watch because I know
[5:14] Speaker 2: we talked about your storyline in that but the more
[5:18] Speaker 2: I think about it, the more I'm like, that's why
[5:21] Speaker 2: the episode is so good, because it's not just about
[5:24] Speaker 2: the two couples getting married, right, it's also how it's
[5:28] Speaker 2: affecting everybody else, and it's really affecting you. And I'm
[5:33] Speaker 2: for some reason that episode more than any other episode.
[5:36] Speaker 2: I can feel myself like looking outside of myself as
[5:40] Speaker 2: if I were just a viewer watching it. M and
[5:43] Speaker 2: how that would be so fun to watch.
[5:47] Speaker 1: Do I feel that as deeply as y'all do. No,
[5:51] Speaker 1: but I get it.
[5:52] Speaker 2: Speaking of well get it, let's go over our lists.
[5:56] Speaker 2: I would like to know what your number five is?
[6:00] Speaker 1: We built the city, you know why?
[6:03] Speaker 2: I don't know why.
[6:07] Speaker 1: I love the music of this episode. Oh, the music
[6:11] Speaker 1: in this episode is plentiful and I enjoyed it.
[6:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, very much.
[6:15] Speaker 1: So.
[6:15] Speaker 2: There was a lot of good music this season.
[6:17] Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Okay, what's your number five?
[6:20] Speaker 2: Kevin Homecoming?
[6:22] Speaker 1: Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I get that.
[6:28] Speaker 2: Do you doesn't sound like you do?
[6:30] Speaker 1: No, No, I get it. Everybody was back, we were
[6:34] Speaker 1: all there.
[6:35] Speaker 2: It's not a flawless episode, but I thought they did
[6:38] Speaker 2: a really good job of sort of transitioning all these
[6:42] Speaker 2: characters into new roles.
[6:43] Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough, and it was.
[6:45] Speaker 2: Really fun to watch that happened.
[6:50] Speaker 1: Number four Jack a little tapestry nice in lines up?
[6:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you and the fans.
[6:58] Speaker 1: Yeah, m.
[7:02] Speaker 2: My number four is a wedding.
[7:05] Speaker 1: Lower on the list.
[7:06] Speaker 2: I don't think it's a pawless episode. I mostly hate
[7:11] Speaker 2: like the filter over it. I don't like how it looks.
[7:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, I agree, but.
[7:17] Speaker 2: There were a lot of good performances. Yeah, so many
[7:20] Speaker 2: incredible guest stars. I mean, it was just a really
[7:24] Speaker 2: fun and satisfying episode.
[7:26] Speaker 1: It was also a really fun episode to shoot.
[7:28] Speaker 2: My number three is Jackie little Tapestry.
[7:31] Speaker 1: You moved it up on the ranks. It's up there,
[7:33] Speaker 1: it's higher up for you. Yeah, okay, what's your number three?
[7:38] Speaker 1: Hurt Locker two.
[7:40] Speaker 2: I feel like I don't even know you anymore.
[7:44] Speaker 1: There's something about it that just really I.
[7:46] Speaker 2: Think you're right. I think you're right. I think I
[7:49] Speaker 2: missed the mark here because we really enjoyed that.
[7:53] Speaker 1: I really enjoyed it, like you had to make the list.
[7:56] Speaker 2: I think it's just the fact that it's associated with
[7:59] Speaker 2: part one. Yeah, I get that, and name yeah makes
[8:03] Speaker 2: it difficult for me. But that episode, I remember us
[8:06] Speaker 2: feeling like that a quagessential Glee episode. It felt yes,
[8:10] Speaker 2: it felt right.
[8:11] Speaker 1: Yeah, It's like.
[8:14] Speaker 3: I don't know, the magical thinking. What was it like
[8:21] Speaker 3: when they did the elevator, like, oh, this elevator goes
[8:23] Speaker 3: to new elevator auditorium.
[8:25] Speaker 1: You know, all those little one liners make me happy,
[8:28] Speaker 1: really enjoy.
[8:29] Speaker 2: And again huntos, Yeah, here we are finger on the pulse, Jenna,
[8:36] Speaker 2: I just.
[8:36] Speaker 1: You know, we get each other number two two thousand.
[8:41] Speaker 2: And nine, Me too, two thousand and nine, Grand and
[8:45] Speaker 2: the listeners huntos.
[8:48] Speaker 1: Hey, number one, Kevin Non.
[8:51] Speaker 2: Be the same for us, it is Dreams true.
[8:54] Speaker 1: Okay. I like that episode more than I remembered and
[8:59] Speaker 1: thought I would. And I wasn't even a thing obviously.
[9:02] Speaker 3: It's just bitterer sweet emotionally and it really tied everything together.
[9:06] Speaker 3: But again it was not only the emotional tie to it,
[9:08] Speaker 3: but like a really solid episode. Yeah, my mind, like
[9:14] Speaker 3: because two thousand and nine was such a flashback. I
[9:16] Speaker 3: thought two Dreams was going to be like a full
[9:18] Speaker 3: flash forward.
[9:19] Speaker 1: In my mind. So did I And I was like,
[9:21] Speaker 1: oh no, it's got it all and it did the
[9:24] Speaker 1: flash forward in just the right way.
[9:26] Speaker 2: That's I was sort of. I was sort of not
[9:28] Speaker 2: looking forward to it because I didn't like that we
[9:32] Speaker 2: ended present day two episodes before the show ended. Yeah,
[9:37] Speaker 2: it's not the case. We got a little, like you said,
[9:40] Speaker 2: a little bit of everything. And so I think maybe
[9:43] Speaker 2: for us because the concept of doing a flash forward
[9:46] Speaker 2: was so crazy, but that's what we remember because that
[9:48] Speaker 2: was a new thing to us.
[9:50] Speaker 1: Yes, definitely.
[9:51] Speaker 2: So the rest of it just sort of fell away.
[9:53] Speaker 1: Yeah, kind of fell out of place for us.
[9:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought that was. I was in Texas when
[9:58] Speaker 2: I had to watch that episode and I told my
[10:00] Speaker 2: mom I had to watch It's like, oh, that was
[10:01] Speaker 2: such a good episode. I love that episode.
[10:03] Speaker 1: Wow, Mom, like.
[10:06] Speaker 2: She remembers and it is. She was right. It made
[10:08] Speaker 2: me excited to watch it.
[10:09] Speaker 1: Yeah, she was right. Okay, we're moving on to favorite Song.
[10:19] Speaker 3: I feel like that was really we were fairly aligned
[10:22] Speaker 3: on the episode of rankings there with you all who
[10:26] Speaker 3: wrote in and voted in pretty much.
[10:28] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, someone's pretty solid.
[10:31] Speaker 1: Okay, so favorite song voting results. Keviny wanted do you
[10:33] Speaker 1: want to kick the song?
[10:34] Speaker 2: This is hard because there were so many good songs,
[10:37] Speaker 2: but okay, number five per favorite song from you listeners
[10:44] Speaker 2: is home interesting, interesting, interesting, Okay.
[10:50] Speaker 3: I think we felt this way when we recapped this
[10:52] Speaker 3: episode two. We knew like when we were talking to
[10:55] Speaker 3: fans and listeners and people who had come on, they
[10:57] Speaker 3: had mentioned like really loving this number, and I remember
[11:01] Speaker 3: being like that's interesting, Like it's it's not all that
[11:04] Speaker 3: memorable to me, Like I know the song and I
[11:07] Speaker 3: love the song, and I like our version of it,
[11:09] Speaker 3: but it just wasn't like, oh, this is the ugly
[11:12] Speaker 3: song to me.
[11:13] Speaker 2: But that's where I think this is where musicals can
[11:19] Speaker 2: do things that non musicals can't do, where it's not
[11:24] Speaker 2: about the number and per se like the production of
[11:27] Speaker 2: it or anything like that. It was like the emotion
[11:29] Speaker 2: of giving, getting everybody there there yea, and like celebrating
[11:35] Speaker 2: what was going on.
[11:36] Speaker 1: Yeah there was hey bails.
[11:38] Speaker 2: Yeah. I think it was all of that, and it
[11:40] Speaker 2: was it was really pretty to look at. And so
[11:43] Speaker 2: I think we're attached, like the story attaches all those
[11:45] Speaker 2: emotions to the song. Yep. So for us, we're like
[11:49] Speaker 2: we were tired and it was you know, late late
[11:51] Speaker 2: at night. Yeah, and like it's fine, this is a
[11:54] Speaker 2: regular song. But I understand from a viewing perspective why
[11:58] Speaker 2: this probably means more then it does do.
[12:00] Speaker 1: It was also very good, like the origin, it's a
[12:03] Speaker 1: very good song. Okay, number four, listen to your heart.
[12:11] Speaker 1: I am fascinated by these choices you guys. Obviously we
[12:15] Speaker 1: love a Rachel Jesse number.
[12:17] Speaker 2: And the scene was quite funny.
[12:19] Speaker 1: No, very okay, I get it. Sometimes I just need
[12:23] Speaker 1: to be checked a little bit.
[12:24] Speaker 2: Again.
[12:24] Speaker 3: It wasn't like uber memorable for me where I was like, oh,
[12:27] Speaker 3: this is gonna be on my list, but it's a
[12:29] Speaker 3: very good number.
[12:31] Speaker 2: I also like this version of it. Yes, it's a
[12:35] Speaker 2: different VERSEI I geah.
[12:37] Speaker 1: So interesting. I guess there's so much music. Okay, number
[12:41] Speaker 1: three this time, Yeah, obviously.
[12:45] Speaker 2: I get it fully, I mean smashed it. It was emotional.
[12:51] Speaker 2: Darren wrote the out of it.
[12:53] Speaker 3: Yeah, and then and then Beaker. It was Bigerray who
[12:55] Speaker 3: like shot the shut of it. It was all it
[12:58] Speaker 3: was all working. It was all working really really well.
[13:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I need to revise my list. You can.
[13:06] Speaker 1: It's a living document.
[13:07] Speaker 2: It's a living document. Okay, take me to church.
[13:10] Speaker 1: Obviously Number one I lived. I get it. There were
[13:19] Speaker 1: a lot of honorable mentions. Like we said, there's a
[13:21] Speaker 1: lot of songs, so I'm just going to give a
[13:23] Speaker 1: shout out to some of them because we can't ignore these.
[13:26] Speaker 3: So suddenly Seymour is on that list. Hand in my pocket,
[13:30] Speaker 3: I feel the earth move. Yeah, definitely, Father Figure obviously,
[13:36] Speaker 3: Mustang Sally. Yeah, I know where I've been.
[13:40] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Smash I.
[13:43] Speaker 1: Have an honorable mention as myself.
[13:44] Speaker 3: Because there were so many honorable mentions in this grouping
[13:48] Speaker 3: that I thought I would allow myself.
[13:51] Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll never fall in love again Rachel and San Yes, yes,
[14:00] Speaker 1: good and very very good.
[14:03] Speaker 2: Good call. I have an honorable mention. Okay, my mine
[14:06] Speaker 2: is not shocking. My honorable mentions are take Me to
[14:10] Speaker 2: Church and Mustang Sally. I'm just okay. I'm sorry that
[14:14] Speaker 2: they're not in the top five. I was gonna say, Wow,
[14:16] Speaker 2: I'm to be honest, all of these are interchangeable because
[14:21] Speaker 2: I really genuinely loved all of these.
[14:23] Speaker 1: I get it. Number five this time.
[14:27] Speaker 2: Oh funny. You should mention that because it's a living
[14:31] Speaker 2: document and my number five is to a tie between
[14:34] Speaker 2: this Time and Alphie.
[14:38] Speaker 3: Oh, I missed the mark there. I missed the mark
[14:43] Speaker 3: there because I it's not even.
[14:48] Speaker 1: And it should be. It's just okay, so got it? Yeah,
[14:57] Speaker 1: do you want to tell me what your number four is?
[14:59] Speaker 2: Mine is? Will you let me tomorrow head over Pete.
[15:05] Speaker 2: I haven't stopped thinking about that, and I remember how
[15:08] Speaker 2: I felt watching that this time and they're both singing
[15:12] Speaker 2: their faces off, and Billy's voice really just does something
[15:17] Speaker 2: to me.
[15:17] Speaker 1: Yeah, honorable mention that I had that was break Freddy.
[15:24] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, my number four is someday we'll be together.
[15:33] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that feels right. What's your number three?
[15:38] Speaker 1: Oh, I'm going what's your number three?
[15:42] Speaker 2: Okay? My number three? At last, at last, I put
[15:48] Speaker 2: myself on the list.
[15:50] Speaker 1: Yeah you should.
[15:53] Speaker 2: I don't know if I should. I hated recording it,
[15:56] Speaker 2: but I do love that version of it.
[15:58] Speaker 1: No, it's such a good version in wait, what.
[16:01] Speaker 2: Episode is that a wedding?
[16:04] Speaker 1: Right? I was like, I can't imagine you in the hall.
[16:09] Speaker 2: You can't imagine me singing it anywhere because you don't
[16:11] Speaker 2: remember it.
[16:12] Speaker 1: No, I do remember it. I definitely remember it because
[16:15] Speaker 1: you were just like they put you on the mantle.
[16:18] Speaker 1: I was like, what is he doing up there?
[16:20] Speaker 2: Yeah? Me and Amber? Also, it's just so unfair to
[16:23] Speaker 2: sing that song with Amber, Like, that's so.
[16:26] Speaker 3: So great on it you guys, book sound great. I
[16:28] Speaker 3: love the song any already. Mercedes song is actually a gift.
[16:32] Speaker 3: It's like Santana and Mercedes as well.
[16:35] Speaker 1: It's like a gift. Number three for me is take
[16:40] Speaker 1: me to church.
[16:40] Speaker 2: Yeah oh yeah obviously. Yeah. I mean honestly, that could
[16:44] Speaker 2: be number one, like it's stupid good.
[16:48] Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah.
[16:50] Speaker 2: My number two is I lived interesting, you know, emotions emotions.
[16:57] Speaker 1: No, no, no, I get it. I get it. I
[17:01] Speaker 1: it's something like I lived, just something like home for me.
[17:06] Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
[17:07] Speaker 1: It's a really wonderful song as an emotional component to it,
[17:10] Speaker 1: but like doesn't quite get me.
[17:14] Speaker 3: I mean in the episode, to be fair, it did
[17:16] Speaker 3: get me. But anyway, it's not on my list. My
[17:18] Speaker 3: number two is I Know where I've been. Oh yeah,
[17:22] Speaker 3: because how do you not? Yeah, what's your number one?
[17:27] Speaker 2: My number one is I Know where I've been.
[17:29] Speaker 1: I didn't think it's gonna make your list, and I
[17:31] Speaker 1: was shocked. Okay, yeah, I'm.
[17:34] Speaker 2: Happy number one. It's number one for me, not for
[17:37] Speaker 2: Jenna because she's transphobic. You heard it here.
[17:40] Speaker 1: First, Wow, wow wow, ye shout it from the rooftops
[17:45] Speaker 1: every mon. Yeah.
[17:46] Speaker 2: I couldn't couldn't have it at number one to be
[17:48] Speaker 2: number two.
[17:50] Speaker 1: Wow.
[17:51] Speaker 2: I just think that was That's probably like most and
[17:55] Speaker 2: it just because it's impactful and meaningful. If you just
[17:59] Speaker 2: listened to the song and Alex's version, it's absolutely incredible
[18:03] Speaker 2: for us. What was happening in that performance. It's just
[18:08] Speaker 2: a sort of an undeniable like hurricane of emotion and
[18:14] Speaker 2: like artistry. It's beautiful it's it was insane. It was
[18:18] Speaker 2: also the experience of watching it be filmed was unlike
[18:22] Speaker 2: any other and that was like affecting the crew. So
[18:25] Speaker 2: it was yeah, it's my number one.
[18:28] Speaker 1: Yeah, that was a gift. I get it.
[18:31] Speaker 2: What's your number one, father figure? Yeah, I think I
[18:39] Speaker 2: missed the mark. They're not having that on my list.
[18:42] Speaker 1: Because there's just like you said, there's a lot a.
[18:46] Speaker 2: Lot of songs, a lot of really really really good songs.
[18:49] Speaker 1: Like actually, it was this was very hard.
[18:59] Speaker 2: Okay, moving on to favorite couple. So you guys voted
[19:04] Speaker 2: and Tardy is number five.
[19:07] Speaker 1: Well, you know what, the fact that we made the
[19:09] Speaker 1: list at all, with the way that people were talking
[19:10] Speaker 1: about us, is actually a gift.
[19:12] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I didn't think we were even clearing top one.
[19:14] Speaker 1: No, no, no.
[19:16] Speaker 3: Number four is Jane and Mason, and the top comment
[19:18] Speaker 3: is they wish they had more screen time, which I
[19:21] Speaker 3: agree with.
[19:22] Speaker 2: Yeah, I would have loved that. Number three is Rachel
[19:25] Speaker 2: and Jesse Saint Berry on the track.
[19:28] Speaker 1: Yeah, I get it. Number two is Sam and Rachel.
[19:32] Speaker 2: Wow, Rachel is just really all over there. And number
[19:38] Speaker 2: one is a two way tie and I think it's deserved. Yeah,
[19:42] Speaker 2: it's Britanna and clean obviously, yeah, and.
[19:45] Speaker 1: A wedding just really you know, it culminates into that,
[19:49] Speaker 1: you know, or the this culminates into the wedding.
[19:51] Speaker 2: So, I mean, there were some really good honorable mentions
[19:53] Speaker 2: as well, my favorite being blam. Oh my the was blamed.
[19:59] Speaker 1: Okay, let's go through our top fives.
[20:01] Speaker 2: Okay.
[20:03] Speaker 1: Number five for me is Jigsu.
[20:06] Speaker 2: Jigsu and who and Sue I hate you.
[20:13] Speaker 3: There's something really special about Jigsu that I feel a
[20:15] Speaker 3: deep connection to Jigsu and I don't know what.
[20:18] Speaker 2: It is, but I have an honorable mention and it's
[20:21] Speaker 2: Sue and Geraldo.
[20:22] Speaker 1: Rivera ew ew Okay.
[20:27] Speaker 2: It's a professional relationship. My actual number five, I will say,
[20:31] Speaker 2: is Becky and Darryl Oh good one. Okay, Yeah, they
[20:39] Speaker 2: smashed it.
[20:40] Speaker 1: They did smash it. You're right. Number four is for
[20:43] Speaker 1: me Jane and Mason and I agree there is not
[20:46] Speaker 1: enough time.
[20:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, agreed, that's my number four as well.
[20:49] Speaker 1: My number three is blam.
[20:53] Speaker 2: Is our top three? The same? Jenna? Is it? I'm
[20:59] Speaker 2: also blam?
[21:01] Speaker 1: Okay? Is your number two?
[21:04] Speaker 2: Clay?
[21:05] Speaker 3: Okay, I think it is the same. And number one
[21:08] Speaker 3: Bridge Han wow in sync.
[21:12] Speaker 2: Oh it's kind of have ain't made.
[21:15] Speaker 1: In the sink reunion.
[21:16] Speaker 3: Okay, Wow, I'm glad. I'm glad there's a few honorable
[21:21] Speaker 3: mentions for couples.
[21:23] Speaker 1: There's quite a few. Actually, we've be weremiss to not mention.
[21:26] Speaker 2: Wemma, Yes, Quinn and her, Bob.
[21:30] Speaker 1: Spencer and Alistair of course.
[21:33] Speaker 2: Lady and Lord Tybington mm hmm.
[21:36] Speaker 1: And somebody said I didn't watch season six, but tycho
[21:39] Speaker 1: is type, which we know obviously.
[21:41] Speaker 2: And there was some tyke in this there was. There
[21:43] Speaker 2: was shout out to the Warblers and their girlfriends.
[21:49] Speaker 1: Not a couple, but Curtain Rachel is a pairing.
[21:51] Speaker 2: I agree with that for sure.
[21:54] Speaker 1: Wow.
[21:54] Speaker 2: Should we go to some of our favorite thoughts here?
[21:56] Speaker 2: You guys wrote in your comments, yes, do it? What
[22:00] Speaker 2: you thought of this episode? Starting up Sewan should have
[22:03] Speaker 2: been a full twenty episode season reminds me of Season
[22:07] Speaker 2: one better than five.
[22:11] Speaker 1: On the other end, I thing with love you're caught
[22:14] Speaker 1: downhill in a shopping cart on fire, laughing instead of crying.
[22:18] Speaker 1: I know that feeling.
[22:20] Speaker 2: Huh. This season definitely jumped the shark. Yeah a couple times.
[22:24] Speaker 1: I'm glad that storylines had a conclusion. I wasn't left wondering.
[22:29] Speaker 2: M it's a lot in caps, like a lot, but
[22:33] Speaker 2: Lea's also a lot of time, so it makes sense
[22:35] Speaker 2: that they went out that way.
[22:38] Speaker 1: Overheted. I actually quite liked this season. It's not the best,
[22:41] Speaker 1: but it's certainly not the worst.
[22:44] Speaker 2: A seven out of ten and then a ten out
[22:46] Speaker 2: of ten.
[22:48] Speaker 1: I'm so glad that Tarty was endgame.
[22:50] Speaker 3: Wow, here's another Tarty one that I actually appreciate. There's
[22:53] Speaker 3: something to back it up.
[22:54] Speaker 1: If they were gonna put teen and already back together,
[22:57] Speaker 1: we needed more build up. There was no foreshadowing to it, no, no,
[23:00] Speaker 1: I know, And there was no like when they get together.
[23:04] Speaker 3: There was no like, Oh, that's that's gratifying for me,
[23:08] Speaker 3: Like I feel back, you know.
[23:09] Speaker 1: So I get that. I get that the elevator kiss
[23:12] Speaker 1: is one of the best kisses on TV.
[23:14] Speaker 2: Yes, I agree with that.
[23:16] Speaker 1: That's really great.
[23:17] Speaker 2: An improvement on season five. It's still not as good
[23:19] Speaker 2: as the first four. Would have liked more episodes, Yeah,
[23:24] Speaker 2: totally curtain. Blaine's breakup was the worst plotline of the season.
[23:29] Speaker 3: Oh, super underrated and I hate that for the new cast.
[23:35] Speaker 1: They really held their own, Yes they did.
[23:37] Speaker 2: Season six has some of the most iconic lines and episodes.
[23:39] Speaker 2: I don't know why everyone hates it. At the time
[23:43] Speaker 2: felt off, but years later honestly Top three for me.
[23:47] Speaker 1: A hot mess mostly, but enough nostalgia to pull through
[23:49] Speaker 1: and wrap up nicely.
[23:51] Speaker 2: Worst one, I'm sorry.
[23:54] Speaker 1: We'd love that the auditorium was named after Finn.
[23:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, So, I mean there's a mixed bag here.
[23:59] Speaker 1: Nobody's holding back.
[24:00] Speaker 2: No, and I think you know we've gotten here together,
[24:03] Speaker 2: and that's what's important.
[24:04] Speaker 3: I feel like we get a better idea of like
[24:08] Speaker 3: what you guys were feeling in real time when you
[24:11] Speaker 3: were watching the show, or how you feel.
[24:13] Speaker 1: Now about it and how that's changed and shifted. So
[24:16] Speaker 1: we're so grateful that we get to be like in
[24:18] Speaker 1: on this part of it. Now.
[24:20] Speaker 3: We were only going to do the season six overview
[24:23] Speaker 3: and just be done with it, but we really felt
[24:26] Speaker 3: like we had to do the series' favorites because there's
[24:29] Speaker 3: so many more categories that we could do, and I
[24:31] Speaker 3: feel like y'all would have yelled at us if we
[24:33] Speaker 3: didn't do them, So we're going to do them.
[24:35] Speaker 1: So stay tuned for those as well. But thank you
[24:40] Speaker 1: so much.
[24:42] Speaker 2: Thank you Glee Scholars for preparing us with a thoughtful
[24:46] Speaker 2: critique and expectation. You were right again and you really
[24:54] Speaker 2: made us excited to watch the season and it didn't
[24:56] Speaker 2: let us down, and you didn't let us down. So
[24:59] Speaker 2: thank you for that. Thank you for writing in and participating.
[25:01] Speaker 2: It means so much to us. Like I said, this
[25:04] Speaker 2: is sort of my favorite part of this whole thing
[25:06] Speaker 2: is getting to see what you guys think and talk
[25:09] Speaker 2: about it and see how it compares to our experience.
[25:12] Speaker 2: And also shout out to all the newbies who came
[25:14] Speaker 2: on this season. You really appreciate it and held your own. Yeah.
[25:19] Speaker 2: Season six, we did it, Jenna, we did it. I'm
[25:22] Speaker 2: so excited to do some of these series. We're doing
