In this bonus episode of The Money Mentor Podcast, we sit down with Wade & Lainie alongside their Relationship Manager, Sam, to explore how guidance, trust, and teamwork can completely transform financial lives. Before joining Infinity, Wade & Lainie felt stuck. With multiple accounts, credit cards, and no clear financial direction, they were spending more than they should and facing a $528k mortgage with 22 years to go. Money arguments were common, and despite working hard, they weren’t making progress. After discovering Infinity on social media, they watched the free webinar and then joined a masterclass that completely changed their mindset—especially for Lainie, who admits she had been skeptical at first. Since then, their journey has been remarkable: Paid off $80k of their mortgage already, on track to own their home in 3 years instead of 20, built a portfolio of 3 investment properties (with more on the horizon), dropped their weekly budget, while finally feeling in control of spending, stopped money arguments and found financial alignment as a couple and discovered the power of community and accountability working with Sam. Most importantly, Wade & Lainie are now passing on these habits to their son Jack, showing that smart financial planning creates not only freedom for today but generational change for the future. This episode dives into: ● How skepticism turned into confidence through education ● Why separating accounts made budgeting simple ● The turning point that stopped money arguments for good ● Building wealth while still enjoying life ● What Wade & Lainie want to teach Jack about financial freedom 👉 Follow the link https://bit.ly/43V2jKN to watch the free webinar

[0:00] And the mortgage is getting lower and lower.
[0:02] It's getting better.
[0:04] It's getting low.
[0:04] Like, we're going to own our home in three years.
[0:06] Three years.
[0:07] Now, not many, like... From 20 years?
[0:09] 20, yeah, something 20 years to three years.
[0:13] And in three years' time.
[0:14] And, you know, that's something a lot of people will never do.
[0:17] There's people out there that have never, ever owned their own home.
[0:20] There's people out there that will never have the opportunity to own a home because they just can't afford to get themselves in there.
[0:27] Yeah.
[0:29] The fucking lack of it is money.
[0:31] The lack of understanding money.
[0:33] When I put that into emphasis, when I realize that psychological effect and how it hit our family, I have to be in the fucking way.
[0:39] You are now watching the money man talk podcast.
[0:42] With Graham home.
[0:42] Graham home.
[0:43] Graham home.
[0:44] Graham home.
[0:45] You're fucking gone.
[0:49] Welcome everyone to the Money Mentor podcast.
[0:52] I'm joined today with Wade and Laney.
[0:55] Wade works as a FIFO worker and Laney works in the insurance department.
[1:01] They've been here with us at Infinity for coming close to six months now and I'm their relationship manager working.
[1:08] My name's Sam Chang and...
[1:11] Welcome.
[1:12] Thank you.
[1:12] Thank you.
[1:15] So to kick it off, it's been awesome having you here at Infinity.
[1:19] Been fantastic talking to you just about your journey so far and had some really cool things happen in the meantime.
[1:26] What I found is you guys have followed the advice from Infinity from the beginning and it shows pretty quickly in results, hence why we're here sitting only after six months' worth of Infinity
[1:40] So from the beginning, in our first meeting, you mentioned that your money was all over the place, coming in, going out, no real direction to it.
[1:52] And I'm curious as to what led you here to infinity, who found us, where'd you find us and...
[2:01] Yeah.
[2:01] All right.
[2:02] So I found you.
[2:05] I was, I'd spoken to some people at work.
[2:07] Plus I'd seen Infinity on the socials, popping up on the socials.
[2:12] I guess, you know, we'd sort of procrastinated about buying an investment property for quite some time before that.
[2:19] So, you know, to take that leap of faith, I guess, you know, to jump in.
[2:26] I did a webinar.
[2:30] Did a webinar while I was out at work, had a listen to that, sort of took a lot on from the webinar.
[2:37] From there, we signed up to do the masterclass.
[2:41] We did the masterclass over a weekend.
[2:44] It was funny because I had the sceptic here with the whole infinity side of it.
[2:53] I thought it was a piece of shit.
[2:54] I thought it was shit.
[2:56] I didn't believe in it.
[2:58] It was the only weekend in like, fuck God, I don't know how many weekends that the sun was out and it was shining.
[3:06] And he made me sit inside all day.
[3:08] People were inside listening to.
[3:09] So...
[3:10] It was not a happy chappy until about halfway through it.
[3:13] So, yeah.
[3:14] That's true.
[3:15] We did the masterclass there on the weekend and yeah, it took a hell of a lot out of it.
[3:19] So, you know, on the money side of things, our finances before that were all over the show.
[3:25] We, I guess we thought we were doing the right thing.
[3:27] We, we had, um, I looked after the bill side of it.
[3:31] Laney earned, uh, her money, um, did her thing.
[3:35] Um, we didn't.
[3:37] We had separate accounts.
[3:38] Yeah.
[3:39] Yeah.
[3:39] We didn't, um, we didn't put our money together.
[3:45] You know, what we say, what's mine was Laney's and what's Laney's was Laney's.
[3:50] Yeah, so, but we had, um, we had the multiple accounts.
[3:54] We had the pay account.
[3:55] We had the bill account.
[3:55] We had the savings account.
[3:56] We had multiple savings accounts and all that was sort of screw all the way.
[4:00] Credit cards, living off credit card, um, uh,
[4:04] And then it was just going through that weekend, obviously, there with G, saying, you know, with the different accounts, they're not working for you.
[4:14] And definitely not.
[4:15] You know, when you throw it all in as a redraw, it makes a big difference.
[4:19] Yeah.
[4:21] Yeah.
[4:22] And you sold a caravan.
[4:23] Loved a caravan, yep.
[4:25] So we used that twice, got rid of the caravan.
[4:27] We've got three properties now.
[4:28] We're going to get three more, Sam, with your help.
[4:32] Yeah.
[4:33] Well, we're going on holiday.
[4:35] And we're going on holiday.
[4:36] We have to book a holiday.
[4:38] We have, we've been told we have to book a holiday.
[4:40] So yeah.
[4:41] So we're booking a holiday.
[4:43] Beautiful.
[4:43] Yep.
[4:44] That's for his 50th.
[4:47] So happening.
[4:48] I know you want to put it off, but he's going.
[4:51] G has told him he has to do it.
[4:53] Otherwise he's going to get sacked.
[4:55] So not me, him.
[4:57] It's awesome.
[4:58] It's so doable.
[5:00] Um, it's funny, you said, you mentioned about, um, what's yours is Laney's and what's Laney's is Laney's and you were talking about some of the process when we first came in and money was just doing what money does being spent.
[5:12] Um, and I think it was only about two weeks ago, Laney, you called me and said, Hey, we're ready to drop our budget.
[5:19] Yep.
[5:20] We've got 300 bucks left over.
[5:22] We've got money left over in our budget.
[5:24] So.
[5:26] To see the flip from where you were before Infinity to coming to here now and having oversight of all your money, how's that shift, I guess, felt, first of all, for you to be knowing what's going on with your budget and then to now be in control of it?
[5:40] Powerful.
[5:41] Because now I know what I'm doing.
[5:42] Like when we first started and you explained up my, I had my, my, my two separate accounts, had my FFF and my S&B to actually understand how to work it out, what you were talking about, I needed pictures and you explained it very easily.
[5:57] And so I could understand what I was doing.
[6:00] So then I knew that I could only had so much money for this, this, and this, and I stuck to it.
[6:05] And literally I made sure I wrote out a budget each week.
[6:08] I wrote my food out each week.
[6:10] I knew that I had enough money for everything that I needed.
[6:13] Plus I would then start having leftovers.
[6:15] So then to drop it by another hundred, we've done that.
[6:19] And I've already worked out that I can drop it another hundred.
[6:22] And that way then it will be even more money going back into S and B.
[6:26] So it was powerful because I've got control over something I never had control over.
[6:31] Yeah.
[6:32] Yeah.
[6:32] Absolutely.
[6:33] It's incredible.
[6:33] I remember our meeting, you were, I think I saw half your head on the webcam and I could see Wade.
[6:40] I wasn't letting you see nothing.
[6:42] I was always sliding right out.
[6:43] You could see it was a chair and ball around.
[6:45] I was literally sliding.
[6:46] I could push that.
[6:47] I was sliding it out of the way.
[6:48] I didn't want to, didn't want you to see me.
[6:50] I needed to be out of focus.
[6:52] You could see the skeptic in it.
[6:53] I think you're sort of half in, half out, dipping your toes in.
[6:57] So, I mean, every time we talk now, it's, uh,
[7:00] It's, it's a new thing.
[7:02] It's a new chapter.
[7:02] It's a new development.
[7:04] It's a new goal.
[7:05] It's a new, whether it be your budget or, or what you want to do, um, in the longterm.
[7:09] So it's fantastic to see.
[7:12] Uh, so Wade also you work FIFO.
[7:15] How long have you been doing that for now?
[7:17] 12 years.
[7:17] 12 years.
[7:17] Yeah.
[7:20] What was the drive for you to go FIFO?
[7:22] Because a lot of our, a lot of people that I know that go to FIFO have a really clear goal and mindset because it is a sacrifice of sorts in many things from family time, travel, being on site the entire time.
[7:38] What was the goal to go there?
[7:41] And I guess, do you think that you reach those goals by just doing the FIFO?
[7:47] Yeah, at the start.
[7:49] So I'm a fabricator.
[7:51] I'm a sheetie by trade.
[7:53] Did that for 20 years beforehand.
[7:57] Worked for previous to FIFA.
[8:00] Worked for a bloke for a company for 12 years as well before that.
[8:05] and it was at that point we needed to change.
[8:07] We weren't getting ahead.
[8:10] We'd had other friends that were doing FIFA, you know, and they were doing well.
[8:15] So I was like, righto.
[8:16] Like, and I'll be honest, I shit myself at the start there, you know, to go away because...
[8:21] You enjoy being home every night.
[8:22] You enjoy spending time with your family.
[8:25] So it was a big change in pace.
[8:29] The reason was was to get ahead, you know, to get ahead.
[8:32] We had our young fellow.
[8:33] I think he was about four or five at the time when I'd started that.
[8:37] So Lainey wasn't working.
[8:39] We were on a single income.
[8:41] She was raising our child.
[8:43] So we needed to make something work.
[8:45] We wanted to buy a house.
[8:46] We're trying to squirrel away money to buy a house on a single income that really wasn't very flash at the time.
[8:55] When I left to go to FIFA, I took a bit of a pay cut because I knew that, you know, things would change.
[9:01] So we took a little bit of a pay cut with that.
[9:05] It wasn't much, but then sort of things escalated from there.
[9:09] But then coming in into that, you know, and doing that FIFA, then you start to get a bit more money.
[9:14] And you're like, hey, this is pretty good.
[9:16] Let's buy this.
[9:17] Let's buy that.
[9:17] So we wasted a lot of money.
[9:20] It sort of took us away from that original goal as to why we decided this was what we were going to do.
[9:28] Bought some toys, sold some toys.
[9:31] But ultimately, look, the job did get me, get us that deposit for a house, you know, by putting that money away.
[9:41] So I guess at the start it was easy, you know, you sort of get a little bit, oh, we get this money coming in, you know, and it's all fancy and yeah, we'll spend this and buy that.
[9:49] But I've still got this much and just wasting the shit, you know, so yeah.
[9:53] Yeah.
[9:54] What are some of the toys you came away with?
[9:56] Oh, what are we?
[9:57] Boats and cars and, yeah, bikes and shit.
[10:01] Push bikes.
[10:01] Yeah.
[10:02] Push bikes, fishing rods.
[10:04] Fishing rods.
[10:05] Yeah.
[10:06] How many have you got of those?
[10:07] There's a lot of good fishing rods at home.
[10:09] And, yeah, I've got lots of lures.
[10:11] Lots of lures and, you know, lures catch?
[10:13] Fishing rod.
[10:16] Nothing.
[10:16] No, they don't.
[10:17] But yeah, you just, you know, you go to the end of the tackle store and you're like, oh, I'll buy it.
[10:21] That's a certain stage where you just bought whatever you wanted.
[10:24] Yep.
[10:25] You knew you had money coming in, but you just bought whatever you wanted.
[10:28] And then when it came to a certain time where, you know, you wanted to buy, do this, it's like, oh, I've got to save up for that.
[10:34] But you don't want to save up because you want to buy that instead.
[10:36] But joining the infinity has told us how, that we can still have everything we want, but you just got to make sure you do this first.
[10:45] Right.
[10:45] And you save and you work hard.
[10:47] It's not like you're, it's not a need, it's a want sort of thing.
[10:53] So you just put it aside and just keep working with what you want to get to.
[10:57] And budgeting gets you that way.
[10:59] Yeah.
[10:59] I think for the other FIFA blokes out there is sort of have a look and think, why did you go and do this in the first place?
[11:05] You know, and that was probably the thing for us is why did we go and do this in the first place?
[11:08] Because you're missing out on stuff.
[11:10] You're missing out on stuff.
[11:12] On birthday parties and, you know, these little bloody milestone moments with your children.
[11:18] Like I said, I left when he was five.
[11:21] You left when he started Simon's.
[11:22] So, yeah, you miss a lot of stuff.
[11:24] But you come home, like I do two and two,
[11:27] So for those two and two, come home for two weeks.
[11:30] You were hands-on dad.
[11:31] Yeah, I'm riding to school with the young fella because the prime school was just up the road.
[11:37] So you get that opportunity to ride your son to school and things like that.
[11:42] But you miss out on stuff as well.
[11:44] So it's that have a step back and go, okay, why am I doing this?
[11:49] Yeah.
[11:50] If I could do it again, you'd probably knuckle down a bit earlier.
[11:53] But no regrets.
[11:54] You know, hindsight's a wonderful thing.
[11:56] Mm-hmm.
[11:56] Yeah.
[11:59] That's awesome.
[12:01] So I guess being, well, how has being in here with Infinity changed the way that you use that money from working the FIFO and yourself working as well now, Lanny, because you've got both the incomes coming in now.
[12:19] It was going to toy.
[12:20] Well, a fair while ago, it was going to toys.
[12:22] You got yourself pretty centered and grounded throughout that process, but yeah.
[12:27] Now being here, where is it all going?
[12:30] Where is your money all going now?
[12:31] It's going off our mortgage.
[12:32] Going off the mortgage, yeah.
[12:33] Going off the mortgage.
[12:34] And the mortgage is getting lower and lower.
[12:36] It's getting better.
[12:38] It's getting low.
[12:38] Like we're going to own our home in three years.
[12:40] Three years.
[12:41] Now not many like.
[12:42] From 20 years?
[12:43] 20, yeah, something 20 years to three years.
[12:47] And in three years time.
[12:48] And, you know, that's something a lot of people will never do.
[12:52] There's people out there that have never, ever owned their own home.
[12:54] There's people out there that will never have the opportunity to own a home because they just can't afford to get themselves in there.
[13:02] And people will say, three years, you won't own it in three years.
[13:04] Yeah, we will.
[13:05] We just sat with other people and we've spoken to other people, you know, during REMS that have done exactly that through just managing your money better.
[13:13] You know, having that fully transactional account and utilising the benefits of that.
[13:20] So...
[13:22] We did not, like we spoke about before, we didn't combine our incomes.
[13:28] It was my money and Laney's money.
[13:31] And now, yeah, like it's all just goes onto the mortgage.
[13:34] And, you know, we have money that comes into our FFF, our food fuel fund.
[13:40] We've dropped that by a hundred bucks again, and we could probably drop it down more.
[13:47] You know, and that's more money that's going on your mortgage.
[13:50] Why do you think you didn't combine them?
[13:52] I was, it was, no.
[13:54] Yeah.
[13:55] No.
[13:55] That's lying.
[13:57] No, because that, no, like there was like, no, that's my control.
[14:01] I had to have control on that.
[14:02] Don't, no, don't touch mine.
[14:03] That's mine.
[14:05] And like, and you know, like you share everything else, you do everything else, but no, you can't have that.
[14:09] I'm sorry.
[14:10] Nope.
[14:10] That was my control.
[14:12] And to take that away at that time, it was like, no, you're not allowed to.
[14:17] Whereas when you guys said you had to do it, I did it.
[14:21] Didn't even think twice.
[14:22] I just did it because I could see what's going to happen at the end.
[14:25] It wasn't through a lack of trying.
[14:27] He tried.
[14:28] Bad conversations.
[14:30] No.
[14:31] Oh, you know, maybe if some of your pay goes onto the mortgage and...
[14:36] No, I've got nails to do it.
[14:38] I was going here.
[14:39] I had things to do.
[14:40] I had to buy Jackson something.
[14:42] I always had, and I was the honest, yeah.
[14:44] And like, yes, my money went on food and it went on Jackson.
[14:47] Jackson, I made sure he had his clothes.
[14:49] He had his shoes.
[14:50] He had his school fees were paid.
[14:52] I had all of that.
[14:53] It was always done.
[14:55] But, you know, no, no.
[14:58] Your money's our money.
[15:00] My money's my money.
[15:01] But I'll pay for this and you pay for that sort of thing.
[15:03] But like we never went without anything.
[15:05] Yeah.
[15:05] It's almost like a business arrangement.
[15:07] Yeah.
[15:07] About how things are spent and how things are paid for.
[15:10] Yep.
[15:10] But it's not anymore.
[15:12] And it's better for both of us.
[15:14] Like we, there's no arguments over money because there was a lot of them.
[15:20] We talk about things instead of screaming at each other in regards to, how come this is out of the account?
[15:26] And it's like, I didn't touch the account.
[15:28] We get a farewell.
[15:29] I did touch the account, but I didn't let him know.
[15:31] Yeah, we definitely keep an eye on it.
[15:33] You know, we're...
[15:34] We're very conscious on our spending now.
[15:38] Combined, we earn decent money.
[15:41] Yeah.
[15:43] But like even just your normal J-Blobe who's earning a normal wage of Australians, you know, nowadays, like this is so doable.
[15:52] You're just, you're managing your money better.
[15:54] You're making your money work for you.
[15:56] You're having it sort of go against your mortgage because as we know, interest is calculated daily.
[16:03] So...
[16:05] Your savings is essentially sitting there against your mortgage.
[16:08] It's still there.
[16:10] It's not disappearing anyway.
[16:11] You've got to redraw.
[16:12] So if something happens, you've got that buffer.
[16:15] If something happens, you can still access your money.
[16:18] And then, okay, that 3, what are we at?
[16:20] 3.1 years, I think, is what we worked at.
[16:22] Well, if something happens along the line, then it pushes out a little bit.
[16:27] But we're not paying a 19, 20, 20 mortgage.
[16:29] We're going from $500,000 in interest to $50,000 in interest.
[16:36] It's a no brainer.
[16:37] We've already paid 80 something off it already.
[16:40] Paid 80,000 off the mortgage already just through, you know, the savings that we had and just threw it on it.
[16:50] So.
[16:50] It's awesome.
[16:52] And I mean, by combining...
[16:55] uh, your accounts.
[16:57] You also have the oversight.
[16:59] You both see what both are spending.
[17:01] And then you got me to come in.
[17:04] Um, and I, I saw a comment not long ago on one of the social medias and someone posted, um, that they think they're paying infinity to tell you what to do with your money.
[17:17] Do you feel like your relationship manager or your
[17:21] WG, wellness guru.
[17:23] Your wellness guru.
[17:24] Ever.
[17:25] No, he's never told us what to do.
[17:27] He's advised, you've advised.
[17:29] Like, I wanted to join the gym.
[17:31] Like, I used to go to the gym all the time, but I stopped for a long period because Wade actually said, well, too much money, you're not spending it.
[17:37] No, you're not having it.
[17:38] So I cancelled it.
[17:39] Then I wanted to join the gym again.
[17:42] And I said to him, I said, I want to join the gym.
[17:44] This is how much it's going to cost.
[17:46] And he said to me, well, you bet.
[17:47] I said, I'm already messaging him.
[17:49] He goes, have you messaged Zach?
[17:50] And I went, no, I've messaged WG.
[17:53] And that was you because you're my wellness guru.
[17:55] And you said yes because it's allowed to.
[17:57] And then Zach said, yes, you're allowed to.
[17:59] I'm like, well, okay.
[18:00] So, but like I double check first.
[18:03] Like you've never said you can't.
[18:05] You've just, you, you advise and you help me understand it.
[18:09] Cause like, I'll be honest, I'm not tech savvy.
[18:11] I'm tech Davey.
[18:12] And I don't know half the stuff that I'm talking about.
[18:15] And if you ever hear some of the stuff that comes out of my mouth, people like him and Jackson will just look at me and go, do you know what you just said then?
[18:22] In my head, I know what I said, but I don't know what I meant.
[18:24] But like, I know.
[18:26] But like, you never tell us you guide.
[18:29] And that's what you do.
[18:32] Like, I found you brilliant.
[18:33] I'm sorry.
[18:33] I think you're absolutely amazing.
[18:35] I'll speak out of questions off you, you know, like when we're unsure of stuff and shoot your text.
[18:40] And, yeah, just getting those quick answers because we're all new to it as well, you know.
[18:46] So the sweep.
[18:47] The sweep was a prime example for us.
[18:50] You know, we're on the Infinity Fan page and everyone's sweeping their money.
[18:55] And I'm like, why?
[18:55] We're not sweeping our money.
[18:57] And it's like, well, we've just got a different account set up.
[18:59] You know, ours is a fully transactional account.
[19:00] So we're not needing to do the sweep.
[19:02] It's doing it for us.
[19:05] And it's quick little questions like that.
[19:07] Yeah.
[19:07] But also you don't just ask us like how we're going with everything.
[19:11] You actually ask us how we are.
[19:14] How's things going?
[19:16] And that's what a family and community is about.
[19:20] You know, you're not just here to tell us, like help us.
[19:24] You actually want to know how we are personally.
[19:26] So that's another bonus for you guys as well.
[19:30] So I guess back to the question, you know, like are we paying you to –
[19:34] Manage our money.
[19:35] Well, no, you're just pointing us in the right direction.
[19:39] It comes down to us.
[19:40] We've still got the cards.
[19:41] Yeah, we've got control.
[19:42] We can tap and tap and tap, but we don't because we're accountable for our own money.
[19:48] And seeing that end goal of paying your mortgage off in three years, well, shit, we're sticking to the plan.
[19:55] Yeah.
[19:55] And you guys are holding us accountable as well.
[19:58] We're just running through you, so...
[19:59] I want to retire at 60.
[20:01] If I don't pay it off in three years, I can't retire at 60.
[20:04] So that's the goal.
[20:05] Could we do it ourselves?
[20:06] No.
[20:06] You probably could, but I'm not a mortgage broker.
[20:10] I'm not a real estate agent.
[20:12] I'm not any of that.
[20:14] You guys are the professionals.
[20:16] Most definitely I'm going to, you know, come and see you guys.
[20:21] And this is how am I going to do it?
[20:23] How is this going to work for us?
[20:24] And let you guide us in this bloody, I guess, this bloody pathway that we've chosen.
[20:31] So, yeah.
[20:33] You just rattled off two of the goals that you came to us with that you wanted to retire.
[20:39] At 60, you wanted to pay the mortgage off in that three years.
[20:43] And you mentioned Jackson before, who's your boy, your young fella.
[20:47] And, um, in our first meeting, everything came full circle, always came back to family, always came back to Jackson.
[20:54] Um, and, um,
[20:57] I guess I saw a lot of everything that you were doing directed in the direction of getting him ahead at some point, whether it was his knowledge base, whether it was understanding the housing market, whether it was understanding the way that money works and flows in and out.
[21:16] You said he's already pretty good with his money and paid his own schoolies and paid his own way through things.
[21:21] Yeah.
[21:23] What do you want to take from this that you can pass on to him so that he's got this little toolkit in his back pocket so that he's going to be able to get through this financial life that we sort of figure out down the line?
[21:41] We figure out things bits and pieces and what's part of what you want for him by being here at Infinity?
[21:47] Yeah.
[21:48] I want him to come to one of the REM classes.
[21:51] I would like him to come and see what we sing.
[21:54] He calls us weirdos because we do this.
[21:57] He thinks we're weirdos.
[21:58] He's part of our cult.
[21:59] Yeah, because we're part of the cult.
[22:01] But I think once he sees it and hears it, because he's very smart, he will actually be able to put A and B together and he knows that's going to equal C. He'll see the long-term goal from that sort of thing, whereas I wanted him personally, I wanted, like, to teach him how to budget for food and how to do this and that.
[22:21] how that, you know, you can only have certain amounting for this.
[22:24] I know you would want him to learn how to make sure that he controls to be able to save, to buy a mortgage and like have the home to have the mortgage.
[22:32] But I would, I think if he came and saw it, he would see it and he would believe what we believe.
[22:39] Yeah, obviously, you know, we didn't get taught finances.
[22:44] They don't teach you finances at school.
[22:46] I've been a school teacher for 11 years.
[22:50] What I taught, I taught a little bit about budget, about things like that, but I'm in primary school.
[22:55] However, if you were going to the high school, it's not about mortgage, it's not about the tax, it's not about those kind of things.
[23:01] So it is something you figure out throughout life.
[23:03] But it's something that should be taught.
[23:05] We all know how to play three blind mice.
[23:07] Absolutely.
[23:08] That's the joy, yeah.
[23:11] Look, we want him to obviously learn from us through this.
[23:16] We want to set up some generational wealth.
[23:20] Yep.
[23:20] We've got one child.
[23:22] So, yeah, for us to...
[23:26] put ourselves in a better position.
[23:27] We obviously want to look after our retirement as well, but put him into a better position where when we, you know, finally check out, then we can leave him something as well.
[23:38] And he learns along the way, not just to hand him a legacy, but he's going to learn from this as well.
[23:43] And exactly that.
[23:44] Learn the finances, learn the investment side of it, learn to be smart with his money.
[23:50] Whether that comes down to your taxations, savings, everything that goes along the lines with that as well.
[23:59] I think he's in definitely a good position there.
[24:01] He's in a much better position than what we were when we were his age.
[24:05] And at the start, he was like, oh, you've joined a cult.
[24:08] Yeah, you're crazy.
[24:09] He off-trachy at us when we paid the money to come to the ramp.
[24:13] He told us he had wasted our money.
[24:15] And now he's like, oh, I don't know.
[24:17] And he asks you questions.
[24:18] Yeah.
[24:19] You know, you look at the cherries.
[24:20] There's a prime example of those guys and Oscar there.
[24:24] You know, he's on the ball.
[24:25] And I think we've got a lad who's definitely in that position as well.
[24:29] So, yeah.
[24:31] Yeah.
[24:32] That's excellent.
[24:33] Well, I'm glad you've already had such good results in the last six months.
[24:38] I'm so stoked.
[24:40] And I'm actually super keen to see what comes out over the next couple of years and the next three years.
[24:44] And hopefully we can do another podcast to showcase what we actually do in another year's time even.
[24:51] So beautiful having you with us.
[24:53] Is there anything else you want to add?
[24:56] No, you're awesome.
[24:57] I love you.
[24:57] You know that.
[24:58] Thank you for all your help.
[24:59] We do appreciate you.
[25:00] Mate, if I didn't have so much melanin, I'd be blushing.
[25:03] Aww.
[25:05] Tell your mum she's awesome.
[25:06] No, you guys have been fantastic.
[25:08] You'll see them.
[25:09] We've had Zachy that we've been dealing with as well.
[25:12] And like I said, any time we've ever had a question, we just reach out to you guys and you're all over it.
[25:18] And that's why we've joined Infinity.
[25:20] Let the baker bake.
[25:22] Yep.
[25:23] Beautiful.
[25:23] Thank you.
[25:24] Lovely to have you guys.
[25:25] Thank you for your time.
[25:26] Thanks, mate.
[25:26] Appreciate it.
[25:27] Bye.
[25:28] Bye.
[25:29] You're fucking gone.
[25:30] See ya.
