In this episode of The Money Mentor, Ashley and Theresa share how they broke free from the financial “hamster wheel” despite earning solid incomes in Central Queensland. With Ash working FIFO and Theresa in administration, they were doing all the right things on paper, yet making no real progress. A major health scare became the wake-up call that pushed them to seek a clearer, long-term strategy beyond surface-level budgeting tools. After discovering Infinity, everything changed. With structured planning, practical tools, and strong community support, they dramatically accelerated their mortgage reduction and reshaped their lifestyle. The transformation extended beyond money, with improved health, confidence, and future vision, including more time together, travel plans, and building generational security. Their story highlights how clarity, accountability, and the right framework can unlock momentum where effort alone never could. 👉 Follow the link https://bit.ly/43V2jKN to watch the free webinar and start your Infinity journey now!

## Transcript

[0:00] oh my god, I really don't know where that money was going.
[0:04] So in the first month for you guys, you were almost, the example we show in the masterclass is an average $500,000 home loan and you pay about eight and a half grand off a year once you take out the interest, right?
[0:16] You were almost at that one year result in one month.
[0:19] Yeah, and then our second month was eight and a half.
[0:21] So nearly in two months we were at two years worth of principal.
[0:24] That's nuts.
[0:25] Yeah.
[0:27] Yeah, insane.
[0:27] It was, this is exactly the help that we needed.
[0:31] Money is the root of all evil.
[0:32] The fucking lack of it is.
[0:33] Not money.
[0:34] The lack of understanding money.
[0:36] When I put that into emphasis, when I realised that psychological effect and how it hit our family, I have to be in the fucking way.
[0:42] You are now watching the Money Mentor Podcast with Graham Holm.
[0:46] Graham Holm.
[0:46] Graham Holm.
[0:47] Graham Holm.
[0:47] Graham Holm.
[0:48] You're fucking gone.
[0:52] See ya.
[0:53] Welcome back to the Money Mentor podcast.
[0:54] This is part of our Changing Lives Financially series.
[0:57] I'm your new host, Rachel Howlett.
[0:59] We have very special guests here with us today, Ashley and Teresa.
[1:03] Tez, we'll actually call you.
[1:05] How are we doing today?
[1:06] Good, good.
[1:07] Yourself?
[1:07] I'm good, thanks for asking.
[1:09] So let's just start with the big question.
[1:12] Bit about yourselves, I want all the history, the good, bad, ugly, everything.
[1:18] Well, I'm Tez, this is Ash, I get mixed up.
[1:22] We are from Yipoon up in central Queensland and we joined Infinity last, oh, started this year.
[1:32] Yeah.
[1:33] Yep.
[1:34] And yeah, we've got three kids.
[1:36] We've got an eight-year-old son, five-year-old daughter, and another four-year-old daughter.
[1:41] Very full house.
[1:42] Yes, it is a full house.
[1:45] Ash works away.
[1:45] He's an electrician, works away, FIFO, so he's away half the year.
[1:50] Yep.
[1:50] And I'm doing part-time work in administration and bookkeeping at the moment.
[1:56] So, yeah, we're busy and in the thick of it all, really, at the moment.
[2:00] Yep.
[2:01] So tell us about what drew you to Infinity.
[2:04] Give us the money story.
[2:05] I guess...
[2:07] It's sort of, you know, we're going along.
[2:11] It's felt like we've been on a bit of a hamster wheel for a while.
[2:15] I'm lucky enough to be in a good job, paying quite well most sort of money we've been bringing in for a while.
[2:20] But it just didn't feel like we were actually getting anywhere.
[2:23] And it's, you know, to do the same thing and see the money coming and going out and...
[2:27] Yeah, we're in a hamster wheel.
[2:29] Last year, we really, like 2024, we made a decision that we were like, we're going to reach out for external help.
[2:35] But we need more help.
[2:37] Were you trying to do it by yourself before?
[2:39] Yes, sort of.
[2:40] Yeah.
[2:40] And you'd see, you know, you'd start looking like, oh, we're getting there.
[2:43] Then all of a sudden something would come in and what you'd work for suddenly disappears.
[2:48] And yeah, so it was like, well, we've got to do something.
[2:50] Yeah.
[2:50] So we know we had to do something.
[2:52] So 2025, we were going to look externally for some help.
[2:56] So, yep.
[2:56] Didn't know where it was going to be or what it was going to be, but yeah.
[2:59] We stumbled across Barefoot Investor.
[3:02] Yeah.
[3:02] Old Scotty.
[3:03] Yeah.
[3:04] G-rags on Scotty a bit.
[3:05] But yeah, that's sort of, I think these are the gateway.
[3:08] Yeah, it's the gateway.
[3:09] Yeah.
[3:09] It's a good stepping stone, right?
[3:11] Yeah.
[3:11] For somebody who's opening their eyes up to the financial world, it's somewhere to start.
[3:14] We definitely didn't get too far into it.
[3:18] got all the bank accounts moving, set up a thousand bank accounts and stuff like that.
[3:21] The squirms, the smiles.
[3:22] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[3:23] All the buckets.
[3:24] And started, yeah, a little bit by bit.
[3:26] And then, yeah, it wasn't too long after.
[3:28] Then we sort of, yes, got on to G and stuff like that.
[3:32] And, yeah, did the transition across and kept rolling with it all.
[3:36] Yeah, yeah.
[3:38] He popped up.
[3:39] A friend actually said, have you seen that?
[3:42] Short, angry, little fat guy.
[3:44] I know this one.
[3:46] We wanted him full.
[3:46] Say it again.
[3:47] Have you seen that short, angry, little fat guy?
[3:49] He talks about recycling debt.
[3:53] And I was like, no, I haven't.
[3:54] And Ash had seen him pop up in his hat and suit.
[3:58] No, I'd seen him in the suit and tie and glasses.
[4:01] And I was like, oh.
[4:02] That's old school jeans.
[4:03] Yeah, yeah.
[4:04] But that's what the ad was.
[4:04] That doesn't resonate with us.
[4:05] Yeah, and I was sort of like, oh, this seems like someone's just whacked, you know, suit and tie and all that on.
[4:09] Hang on a second.
[4:11] So we didn't like suited up G. No, no, we didn't.
[4:14] We liked casual G. Yeah, and that's the thing.
[4:16] I see someone's called him in the last couple of days.
[4:19] Yeah, and that was the thing.
[4:20] It was sort of like, oh, I'm not sure about this guy.
[4:22] And then the both sides podcast, you know, footage started coming up.
[4:26] And I even looked and went, is this the same guy?
[4:29] And, you know, he did the Google search and went,
[4:31] Oh, it is.
[4:31] It's totally different, but it felt more relatable.
[4:33] Yeah, it felt more relatable then.
[4:35] It's just, yeah, I guess how he's sort of straight shooter and, yeah, it just felt a bit more relatable and that's when we started going down that path and did the free webinar.
[4:46] Yeah, we sat, actually, they put the kids to bed and we sat on our bed and watched it on the laptop.
[4:51] We just looked at each other and we're like, this is what we've been looking for.
[4:57] We need to jump on with everything that they were saying we were doing wrong.
[5:02] So we knew that, yeah, it was really a light bulb moment there watching that.
[5:08] That free webinar, that was definitely, we both were like, we felt inspired from that webinar.
[5:15] Yeah.
[5:16] Yeah.
[5:16] 100%.
[5:16] Definitely gets you pumped up.
[5:18] Yeah.
[5:19] Barefoot's the gateways, the calm, mellow, and then you get onto G and it's the- And we're kind of overhauling the whole thing.
[5:24] You're ready to go.
[5:25] Yeah.
[5:25] Yeah.
[5:25] You got into something harder there.
[5:26] So no.
[5:27] Yeah.
[5:28] Yeah.
[5:28] Well, it gets you invested, right?
[5:29] At least that's starting the journey, which is good because that's what you want.
[5:32] You want to start the journey invested in what we do.
[5:35] So you've done the free webinar.
[5:36] Yep.
[5:36] Mm-hmm.
[5:37] We've signed up for the masterclass.
[5:38] It's a two-day financial education.
[5:41] What do you feel like was the moment in the masterclass that you went, we're in the right place, we're doing this?
[5:46] Oh, definitely the repayment, the loan calculator.
[5:50] That was it for me too.
[5:52] It was seeing the number that we could be mortgage-free.
[5:57] Yeah.
[5:58] Yeah.
[5:59] like, what did it say?
[6:00] Seven years.
[6:01] Yeah.
[6:01] I think just shy of seven years.
[6:03] And that blew our mind.
[6:04] We're like, what, what, how is that possible?
[6:07] Like, surely we don't earn enough to, for that, you know?
[6:10] Yeah.
[6:11] That was it.
[6:12] That was really what made us look like that there was other ways.
[6:17] Oh, cause that was the thing.
[6:17] It was sort of, you know, depressing.
[6:19] You see how much you pay into your repayments, then the tiny little bit that actually comes off and, um,
[6:24] Yeah, which is the first day we look at your repayments versus your interest.
[6:27] And that's the thing.
[6:28] Like, oh, even before the masterclass, you know, we looked at the end date of our loan and my retirement date.
[6:34] And that pretty much landed nearly the same year.
[6:37] Yeah.
[6:37] And it's like, well, I'm not going to work.
[6:39] half the year away to, you know, miss time with the kids.
[6:44] Well, yeah, tell me about that.
[6:45] What does life as a FIFA worker look like for you guys?
[6:48] Yeah, so it's, look, I've worked for a great company.
[6:51] I've got a great crew with me and it's really good that way.
[6:54] Definitely hard being away from home, you know, missing three young kids for half their lives at the moment.
[7:00] Yeah.
[7:01] But it does also give us, I guess, the freedom, not freedom, but good paying, all that.
[7:07] So it's that sacrifice, I guess, you make to what you want to try and build.
[7:10] Yeah.
[7:11] But then looking at the future, we didn't want to keep making those sacrifices until Ash was 67 years old.
[7:16] Yeah, that's right.
[7:16] That wasn't the...
[7:18] This is not a long term.
[7:20] We didn't want it to be something that you were having to do till you were nearly 70.
[7:24] You have to, right?
[7:26] That you would have to.
[7:27] And you see people do, you get locked into that lifestyle of good money, but it gets spent all the time.
[7:32] Yeah, which is where we were.
[7:33] Yeah, and not even to the extent of some people that do it.
[7:37] You know, we didn't have all the flash cars, the boats, the jet skis and all that sort of stuff.
[7:43] And, you know, you still feel like it because you're still like, well, how do these guys do it?
[7:46] And, you know, all that sort of thing.
[7:48] And we were just cruising along and...
[7:51] Yeah, I guess that's the hard thing too because you have that realisation of you earn the money.
[7:54] You don't want to be trapped in it.
[7:55] Yeah, of course.
[7:57] You don't want to be a slave to your mortgage.
[7:59] Yeah, you want a lot at the end of the tunnel, I guess.
[8:01] So it's, yeah, that's where we've got now and we've sort of given ourselves a time frame on it as well, hopefully.
[8:08] Yeah, what does that time frame look like?
[8:09] I'm hoping five years.
[8:10] So we're trying to get the house done in five now.
[8:14] And also set something in play for me to come back into town.
[8:17] And, you know, the kids would be that bit older, a lot more sports, stuff like that.
[8:21] So something definitely want to be home for.
[8:23] And, you know, weekends, go do the sports thing.
[8:26] Actually be part of their life.
[8:27] See the milestones.
[8:29] Yeah.
[8:29] Not miss out on the, you know.
[8:32] Yeah, well, it's all limited time, so we've got to try and, yeah.
[8:35] Okay, so we've got a bit of a wire for you, which is to get you out of FIFO and not have to work to retirement for FIFO.
[8:41] There was a health scare as well.
[8:43] Talk us through the health scare.
[8:44] Yeah, well, that was – thankfully, it's turned out to be nothing, but it was sort of –
[8:51] Yeah, a few issues were around headaches and stuff like that.
[8:53] And yeah, I went and got an MRI and I ended up finding some spots on the brain.
[9:01] That's pretty scary.
[9:02] Yeah, it definitely was.
[9:03] It was, and especially with, I guess, the people who read the images and stuff like that and said what they thought it was.
[9:12] And it sort of gave it a...
[9:14] Oh, it was a degenerative sort of thing, like an MS style.
[9:18] Yeah.
[9:18] And sort of when you read that and, yeah, it sort of goes, shit, we might not even be able to earn this money forever and stuff like that.
[9:25] Yeah, it made us.
[9:26] Puts that into perspective and starts giving you a few, holy shit, like what, you know, and that was sort of mid-2024, which then gives you a bit of a shit year.
[9:36] It was pretty recent.
[9:38] Yeah.
[9:38] That's what really made us go, okay, we need to, if this is –
[9:43] MS, then we really need to look at another, like either we can't keep living the way we're going to, we're living financially, if that means Ash can't do what he's doing, or we need to make our money work better for us now.
[9:57] And that's what really kind of...
[9:59] made us really want to reach out for financial help.
[10:04] Because we weren't struggling financially, but we just... We only got good money.
[10:08] There was just nothing.
[10:09] We just had no direction.
[10:10] Yeah, yeah.
[10:10] And we thought we were tight, but the thing is, yeah, it wasn't a struggle, struggle, but there was just nothing.
[10:16] There was no purpose to it.
[10:18] Yeah.
[10:18] That makes sense.
[10:18] Yeah.
[10:19] So the health scare with that, and then Ash had a grinder incident with his finger.
[10:26] Try to cut that off.
[10:26] Tried to cut his finger off.
[10:28] So that was another thing.
[10:29] So we're like, okay, something – we need our money to work better for us because if he does lose a hand or loses, I don't know, his sense, we just – yeah, we have a young family.
[10:42] We've got a lot of working years ahead of us.
[10:44] So we just kind of needed help externally because, yeah, what we were doing wasn't – it was a hamster wheel.
[10:51] We were going around in circles and we were fine.
[10:53] Like it was fine but it –
[10:55] when you look into the future, it just, it wasn't, it wasn't gonna be fine, especially if you couldn't earn what you were earning.
[11:03] Yeah, if that was, so that was, yeah, last year.
[11:06] Yeah.
[11:07] And then, yeah, so it was sort of a six-month wait to get into a neurologist.
[11:10] Yeah.
[11:11] So then that, yeah, plays on your mind that whole time.
[11:13] Of course.
[11:14] And went down and had the first… Some sleepless nights, yeah.
[11:17] First thing with him and he was like, no, it's not that at all.
[11:19] It's, you know, and it turned out it's just nothing.
[11:22] I've sort of just started getting, you know, yeah, just migraines and stuff like that.
[11:26] Yeah.
[11:26] And so a few…
[11:27] a few different changes and here and there, but yeah, it's, it's all clear sort of, but it was, I guess, in a way, it's a bit of a good scare into pushing you into something.
[11:35] Yeah.
[11:35] It made us stop and reassess, okay, if Ash couldn't earn this money tomorrow, what would we do?
[11:41] What would we do?
[11:42] Yeah.
[11:42] And we would have been screwed.
[11:44] Six months is a long time to be thinking there could be something seriously wrong.
[11:47] Oh, yeah.
[11:48] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[11:48] Yeah.
[11:49] It wasn't a happy time in the house.
[11:50] Yeah.
[11:51] That's for sure.
[11:53] But this year has come up roses.
[11:55] Like this year we've got our health.
[11:57] Ash is the healthiest he's been in the longest time.
[12:00] Yeah, which we'll talk about that soon.
[12:02] Yeah.
[12:02] Yeah, you like to lose parts of your body, but we'll talk about the good one.
[12:07] Hopefully by choice.
[12:09] Yeah.
[12:09] So yeah, this year has kind of done a complete backflip on what last year was.
[12:15] So talk us through the backflip then.
[12:16] So we've had the health scare, we've had the hamster wheel.
[12:20] We think we're going to work until we're forced into retirement to still pay the mortgage.
[12:26] How have we now switched that since the masterclass?
[12:29] Well, I guess it took us a little bit to get through from the masterclass and all that.
[12:33] So we did it in February.
[12:35] Yep.
[12:36] And then by the time everything went through, it wasn't until about May, we actually got all signed up and rolled over.
[12:42] We had a few changes with, I think G was cleaning out some dead wood and stuff.
[12:46] He had a bit of a clean out.
[12:47] So we changed.
[12:48] As he does.
[12:49] RMs, financial.
[12:52] Strategists.
[12:53] We had a team change and stuff.
[12:55] So it just took a bit more.
[12:57] But then...
[12:58] And even that poor, poor chat.
[13:00] She's our financial strategist.
[13:03] And I was calling like they put it in front and then you're seeing stuff.
[13:06] I'm like, how's this even going to work?
[13:07] Like you're trying to get your brain around.
[13:09] So you almost couldn't believe that it was possible for you.
[13:12] Because that's where we sort of were.
[13:13] It's not that we were sceptical.
[13:15] It was that we were like run the numbers again.
[13:19] Yeah.
[13:19] Yeah.
[13:19] Like it's.
[13:20] Yeah Run the numbers again Surely this isn't I know we're I know we're Pulling in good money And stuff But run it again Yeah Are you sure Are you sure So you brought us Through the ringer Yeah And looking back now On reflection I do feel bad Because we But you know We had to have They were very transparent Yeah And I'm sure she screens My calls now Yeah
[13:41] But our Chris at the time we had as well, he helped a lot.
[13:46] He's their welfareers.
[13:46] We lost him now, but he's moved up in bigger, better than things.
[13:49] Because he's gone up to bigger and better things.
[13:50] Yeah, he's the head of that team now.
[13:52] Yeah, so cool.
[13:53] Well deserved.
[13:54] But he eased our mind a lot too with investing.
[13:57] As soon as we...
[13:57] The team just really did ease our mind and they knew what they were talking about, of course.
[14:03] Yeah.
[14:04] And that was, yeah.
[14:05] And then, so once we, it was pretty much our first sweep.
[14:08] Like as soon as we saw the numbers in that first sweep.
[14:10] It was unbelievable.
[14:11] Holy shit, where's this money been?
[14:13] And as I said, we.
[14:14] And what have we been doing with it?
[14:15] What have we been doing?
[14:16] And that's the thing.
[14:16] We thought we were living fairly tight to try and, yeah.
[14:19] And then the second sweep was bigger.
[14:21] And then.
[14:22] So how much was the first sweep?
[14:23] seven and a half seven and a half thousand on the home yeah and we were like what we were doing nothing had been done differently except we'll sticking to our effort yeah um so that money had just must have been gone going through our fingers i have no idea and i know a lot of clients say that and i would listen to those stories and read that on the um on the facebook page and i'd be like yeah yeah no i know where my money goes yeah i know i know where it goes like yeah
[14:50] Until we had the sweeps and it was like, oh, my God, I really don't know where that money was going.
[14:57] So in the first month for you guys, you were almost – the example we show in the master class is an average $500,000 home loan and you pay about eight and a half grand off a year once you take out the interest, right?
[15:08] You were almost at that one year result in one month.
[15:12] Yeah, and then our second month was eight and a half.
[15:14] So nearly in two months we were at two years' worth of principal paid off.
[15:17] That's nuts.
[15:18] Yeah.
[15:19] Yeah, insane.
[15:20] It was, this is exactly the help that we needed.
[15:25] We would sit there in disbelief because we sweep on the 28th of every month and we almost look forward to it every month to see what the figure's going to be.
[15:32] And it just disbelief every time.
[15:35] And the thing is too, like it goes both ways.
[15:37] Like we've, the last couple, we've had a couple of shit suites, but we've had.
[15:41] But we've still swept.
[15:42] Yeah.
[15:42] Things prior that were booked in prior to infinity.
[15:45] Yeah.
[15:46] That had costs.
[15:46] Like I did the shitbox rally for the cancer council.
[15:49] So there's costs all involved in that.
[15:51] And then we've getting the old dog ready to sell.
[15:55] So which chewed a bit more money than we thought it was going to.
[15:58] Because you came to us with one investment property.
[16:00] Yeah, which was the standard, the old home.
[16:04] I was wondering who was going to say it.
[16:07] The thing you're told, you find out now it's not a good thing, but everyone does it.
[16:11] Yeah, everyone does it.
[16:12] And then it was harder to let go of because it was our first home.
[16:15] We bought that when I was 21, you were 23.
[16:18] So it was our...
[16:19] We were switched on that way that we bought young.
[16:21] Yeah.
[16:21] But we spent our 20s traveling, partying, spending, not putting money into the mortgage.
[16:27] If anything, putting money onto the mortgage.
[16:29] Oh, yeah.
[16:30] Yeah.
[16:30] Yeah.
[16:30] So we weren't clever, but we...
[16:32] Doing the minimums.
[16:33] Yeah.
[16:34] Yeah.
[16:34] Okay.
[16:34] Where's the home loan balance at today?
[16:37] Um, it is, so on the PPR, it is 522.
[16:42] Okay.
[16:43] And where do we start?
[16:44] Um, it was around, what did I say?
[16:47] Yeah.
[16:48] You know, the numbers I'm don't existing.
[16:51] Oh, like when we rolled over to infinity?
[16:53] Yeah.
[16:53] Oh yeah.
[16:54] So we started at five, six, five.
[16:55] So we're a bit over 40 grand.
[16:57] Since May.
[16:58] Well, our first week was June.
[17:00] So May was when all the bank accounts got set up.
[17:03] And then, so yeah, since June.
[17:05] That's crazy.
[17:06] Yeah.
[17:06] It is.
[17:07] That is absolutely nuts.
[17:08] And we haven't even sold the old dot.
[17:10] No.
[17:10] So we're hoping once it sells.
[17:12] And we didn't even have any toys to sell or anything.
[17:14] We didn't have.
[17:15] We didn't have.
[17:15] Yeah.
[17:16] So once that sells, we're hoping to pretty much cut that in half with paying out some other stuff, potential CGT.
[17:25] Yep.
[17:26] Yeah, we're hoping to cut it in half.
[17:28] That is crazy.
[17:29] In our original strategy, it hadn't even been allowed for with what our timeframe was going to be for paying off the principal.
[17:37] Yeah, because we always like to go, well, if you didn't do anything but budget, where would you end up?
[17:41] Yeah, so that then makes this five-year goal.
[17:45] Fairly achievable.
[17:46] Yeah, exactly.
[17:46] Very achievable, which is so very exciting.
[17:48] And still having fun along the way.
[17:50] Oh, 100%.
[17:50] Like the rally, maybe a holiday.
[17:52] Well, we just had a holiday.
[17:54] Like for the Christmas party, we were just down for the Christmas party and we made that a little family holiday.
[17:58] Yeah, roll that in.
[17:59] Had a couple extra days here.
[18:00] Yeah.
[18:01] Yeah.
[18:01] So we have not gone without.
[18:03] It's just our money's – we've made our money work for us.
[18:06] Yeah, yeah.
[18:06] which we have never done before.
[18:08] It just kind of came in and come out.
[18:09] It was sand through our fingers.
[18:10] Yeah.
[18:11] I don't know.
[18:12] It makes you feel accountable.
[18:13] Holds you.
[18:14] Yeah.
[18:14] Holds you accountable, especially when you've got someone looking over it and stuff like that.
[18:18] Even Amanda said when we walked in this morning, she said, oh, I see you had Maccas last week.
[18:23] Yeah.
[18:23] Oh, Amanda's always right onto it.
[18:27] Yeah.
[18:27] The funny, oh, yeah.
[18:29] Well, not the funny thing is, I guess, while we were down here, we were driving home Monday and we got emails from the bank about suspicious activity and it turned out we'd actually been hacked.
[18:38] And we've lost seven – oh, not lost, we've got to claim it back.
[18:41] But seven and a half grand come out and we sort of – you know, this is shit.
[18:44] Like, it's a shit spot.
[18:45] But then we were having a bit of a joke about it of –
[18:48] or potentially what they could have got.
[18:49] And also, if they did this a year ago, they would have felt sorry for us.
[18:52] There wouldn't have been the seven and a half trend to take out.
[18:55] There would have been nothing there.
[18:56] There's nothing for them to take.
[18:56] Like it's sort of an issue situation.
[18:58] You have a laugh about it and it's like, oh, thanks to Infinity.
[19:01] There was actually something to take.
[19:02] They can have a good Christmas too.
[19:05] Yeah.
[19:06] The situation has completely changed.
[19:07] And even...
[19:09] We don't feel stressed.
[19:10] Like the seven and a half grand is not gone, but, you know, if...
[19:15] But we also don't feel stressed.
[19:17] We're going to get it back, but we also don't feel stressed it's gone because we've got more.
[19:20] Oh, that's it.
[19:21] We've got the buffer always running.
[19:22] So on what we've paid off the mortgage, you've still got that buffer sitting in there as well.
[19:27] Yeah, it's sort of...
[19:30] And even when we signed up for the masterclass, we were just talking about how we had to, we borrowed money off like family to be able to join.
[19:39] To join.
[19:40] Yeah.
[19:41] Sorry, yeah, to join Infinity.
[19:43] Whereas...
[19:43] So we didn't even have money to join Infinity.
[19:46] No, so we even for the masterclass itself, we were like, oh shit, no, we've got to do this.
[19:51] And it was sort of...
[19:53] what do we sell?
[19:54] I had an old pool table and stuff like that that just sold shit we didn't use.
[19:58] Just to make it work.
[19:59] Just to pump it up.
[20:01] Yeah.
[20:01] Because the thing was too, you're sort of like, well, that's for what the masterclass costs.
[20:05] That's something, you know, I've done a weekend at bloody the Magic Ground and that costs me a lot more than –
[20:12] Well, that course, so it's like you're mad not to give it a go.
[20:15] It's sort of, yeah.
[20:16] So we did that.
[20:17] But when you look in comparison.
[20:18] And we won the feedback anyway.
[20:19] Oh, there you go.
[20:20] You won a foul.
[20:21] Yeah, been free.
[20:22] Gee's very generous.
[20:23] He gives away a lot on those masterclasses.
[20:25] We were actually saying this morning, when you think about it, we haven't spent anything because we won the –
[20:30] master class back and then ash has won the 60 strong which i know we'll talk about challenge which so that's pretty much paid you know we've got a cash bonus so that's pretty much yeah i'm excited to talk about that yeah yeah but yeah we're saying like in comparison when you think about um a year ago or the start of this year we couldn't even really afford like we were looking for money to be able to pay for things to get us financially ahead and now we've had the scammers come and take seven and a half grand and we're like we're okay we're okay we're okay yeah
[20:59] Not okay with the missing.
[21:00] Of course.
[21:01] We're not okay with this, but we're okay financially.
[21:06] It's not actually stressed us like it once would have.
[21:10] You can still put fuel in the car.
[21:12] The kids still get what they need.
[21:14] Coming into Christmas and everything.
[21:15] Yeah, if this had happened at the start of the year, it would have been completely different.
[21:21] Yeah.
[21:21] Or like you said, they wouldn't have had anything to take anyway.
[21:24] But yeah, it's just how much our...
[21:27] Everything has changed in under a year.
[21:30] It's just mind-blowing.
[21:31] And we did used to also use a credit card too before infinity.
[21:35] Yeah, we had.
[21:35] Had a bit of debt.
[21:36] Had a bit of debt.
[21:36] Had a small one.
[21:37] Had afterpay.
[21:38] Everything you'd always whack on, yeah, zip pay, afterpay.
[21:41] Oh, yeah, we had like the...
[21:43] or they latitude or whatever, the interest free.
[21:45] So if you need, you know, from telly or whatever, you know, yeah, it all got, got used.
[21:49] And I think some of the time it was like, when you think you're going all right, then all these payments come in and one hit, like, oh shit, forgot about those.
[21:56] Yeah, I forgot I bought that full table and after pay that I just sold it.
[21:59] Yeah.
[21:59] So yeah, no, it's.
[22:01] Yeah, definitely a change in it all.
[22:05] Yeah.
[22:05] Well, how did you go about navigating the unlearning of those behaviours?
[22:08] Because it's a big change, right?
[22:11] Yeah, there's a lot in it that you start, I guess, a traditional way of thinking just how you've done things.
[22:15] Yeah.
[22:16] It takes a little bit.
[22:17] It takes a little bit.
[22:18] That probably, once the money was there, the buffer was built and all that.
[22:21] Like, it's a good thing not having to worry about using all your pay, buy now, pay later sort of stuff.
[22:25] But, you know, around a few other things, because it's just, I guess, what everyone talks about is, oh, you do this, you do that.
[22:32] So that's what you're told.
[22:33] That's what you believe.
[22:33] And then all of a sudden it's like, no, guys, what you're told is wrong.
[22:37] Yeah.
[22:37] Yeah.
[22:38] So definitely a lot of relearning and learning new things, new ways of doing stuff.
[22:42] And, yeah.
[22:43] Yeah.
[22:44] And apart from the debt reduction on the home loan, what else have we achieved with infinity so far?
[22:50] Well, we've got a couple investment properties.
[22:53] How many do we have?
[22:54] Three.
[22:54] Three.
[22:56] Yep.
[22:56] Which is also another thing that we were like, we didn't even think that was on the table for us to even, we just were looking for financial help to get us,
[23:06] our money working for us we weren't even really thinking that that was something that we could achieve so that's mind-blowing in itself yeah definitely but yeah one in our um self-managed super and two yeah they're a personal yeah and what does that feel like for you guys because we're starting to now build a bit of a legacy yeah did you ever think that was possible for your family
[23:27] No.
[23:27] Not really.
[23:28] It's, yeah, it's exciting, scary all at the same time.
[23:31] Like it becomes when you join up and start getting in it, it becomes a rush.
[23:36] Everything's sort of.
[23:37] Yeah, you want more, do more.
[23:38] Oh, yeah, it's all moving.
[23:39] You're like your head's spinning going, oh, shit.
[23:41] And, yeah, as I said earlier, you start going, you know, can we do this?
[23:45] Like where's this money?
[23:46] What's this?
[23:46] Yeah, you're sure we can do this?
[23:48] But now we're looking at, oh, we will have our mortgage paid off in a few years.
[23:51] Like that was the, that's why we were looking for external help
[23:56] And that's so achievable.
[23:57] That's at the end of our fingertips now.
[23:59] So, yeah, the thought of, oh, okay, well, there's more possibilities.
[24:03] There's investment properties.
[24:04] There's building a portfolio.
[24:06] There's, you know, going to be generational wealth, hopefully passed down to the kids and stuff like that.
[24:12] Yeah.
[24:13] Yeah.
[24:13] And I guess that's one of the big things too is trying to set something up to be able to, you know, in a position to be able to help the kids and all that when their time comes around, you know.
[24:22] And that's what we're really looking at, I guess, is doing that, making later years for us easier on ourselves but also being able to help the kids if we can, yeah.
[24:30] Yeah.
[24:31] Yeah.
[24:31] And are we involving the kids in the money conversations, the budgeting talks now, what mum and dad are doing?
[24:37] Talk me through that.
[24:38] Yeah, that's definitely one thing is, yeah, we sort of talk fairly open about it.
[24:41] They know about infinity and the young fella, even if he sees something that's got infinity, he's like, is that part of what you're doing?
[24:48] And even the middle daughter, she, something she wanted the other day or, and yeah, the eldest he's gone, but is that a want or a need?
[24:57] Like you've got to know.
[24:58] Yeah.
[24:58] I love that.
[25:00] You know, so obviously, you know, yeah, it's sinking in.
[25:04] And that's, I guess the thing is as well, like it's.
[25:07] We're just talking openly.
[25:07] Involve them as early as possible.
[25:09] So then they, I guess they build some sort of education and we're still learning, obviously.
[25:13] Like it's a journey for us, but.
[25:15] Yeah, we want better for them.
[25:16] If they're coming along for it, they might get a head start on a lot of stuff.
[25:18] It's going to help them, right?
[25:19] We don't get taught this at school.
[25:21] And this is something I'm very personally passionate about because I had a situation with my family where we had a,
[25:26] A lot.
[25:27] My dad was a jockey, very successful one.
[25:29] You know, when you're winning, there's lots of prize money.
[25:31] We had everything.
[25:33] He was forced into retirement due to an injury.
[25:35] Changed our whole family's trajectory.
[25:38] They got divorced through all the fighting.
[25:39] We lost our home that we had.
[25:41] Everything was gone.
[25:42] There was debt up to our eyeballs.
[25:44] But my parents didn't really have someone they could talk to to make a change.
[25:48] And I wish there was a G back then.
[25:50] I wish there was an infinity back then.
[25:52] And that they could talk to us, you know, because I've got three siblings.
[25:54] There's four of us that we had to unlearn stuff as we got older.
[25:57] So I'm very passionate about teaching you guys and anyone with kids all of this.
[26:02] So you can pass it down.
[26:04] So if anyone also wanting to do that as well, share an example with me of a conversation you've had with your kids.
[26:12] Um, even, well, a fantastic one that just comes to mind is the, um, obviously we were just down for the Christmas party.
[26:18] We drove past and showed.
[26:19] I heard you had fun there.
[26:20] Yeah.
[26:22] We showed the kids, um, you know, uh, one of our investments is in the Gold Coast.
[26:26] So we showed them that get getting built, but also, um, before coming down to the Christmas party.
[26:32] We took the kids along to get a... Oh, the Kmart wishing tree.
[26:37] Oh, yeah, yeah.
[26:38] Awesome.
[26:39] So we got the kids to envision a child, you know.
[26:42] So they each had a little budget that they could spend for a child that they envisioned in their head who they would buy for for Christmas.
[26:51] So that was so beautiful.
[26:52] So like another them who may not be as fortunate.
[26:55] Yes.
[26:56] Think of... Yeah, and we always...
[26:59] We always had the intent to do it, but we never did it.
[27:02] So this year it was just, it was beautiful.
[27:04] So we went into Kmart, they got to go and yeah, just learning about giving and some people don't have the money to be able to afford this kind of stuff and how fortunate we are.
[27:15] And it's all kind of wrapped into one.
[27:17] Yeah.
[27:18] So that was really beautiful involving them in that.
[27:20] Yeah, it was so good to see because it's sort of, you don't know how it's going to go.
[27:23] You're taking kids, giving them money to say, they want to walk out with the gifts.
[27:26] Or go buy presents and, you know, you're waiting for the, oh, can we get something?
[27:30] But they just gnawed it.
[27:32] Then they went around and they were like, oh, if we think someone would like the kid, they would like this and this and this.
[27:36] And it's sort of, yeah, real heartwarming moment.
[27:38] And, you know, yeah, they had their budget.
[27:40] So the oldest one, he's working out exactly how much is left.
[27:43] To the dollar.
[27:44] Yeah, yeah.
[27:45] So, yeah, stuff like that was really good.
[27:47] And, yeah, even just...
[27:49] Even just every day with the grocery shopping, like a weekly, you know, ask the kids what they want for dinner and they're involved in the grocery shopping.
[27:58] And it's mostly our oldest son.
[27:59] He is.
[28:00] He kind of is getting it more now.
[28:02] He's eight.
[28:04] How much things cost.
[28:06] And then he gets pocket money too for his job.
[28:09] So he'll get, say, $2 for taking the bin out or whatever.
[28:12] So he's learning – like we're really involving him.
[28:15] He's learning where that dollar goes and what –
[28:19] when he blows his money, how quickly it's gone too.
[28:22] He's had buyer's remorse before, yeah.
[28:24] Oh, he's already learned about buyer's remorse.
[28:26] Yeah, the impulse buying.
[28:27] He's learning young that it's a short-lived thing.
[28:30] So it took us into our late 20s to learn that.
[28:33] So he's learning it now.
[28:35] I love that.
[28:36] Yeah.
[28:36] Because so many people want the newest of everything, the latest gadget.
[28:40] And like you said, it wears off very quickly.
[28:42] You might stop playing with something after 12 months.
[28:44] So that's really shifted, not just education, but mindset for them too.
[28:49] Yeah, exactly.
[28:50] Yeah, 100%.
[28:50] Yeah.
[28:51] So it is rubbing off on them.
[28:52] We're talking openly and happily about money.
[28:56] There was a good period there, especially last year when things were tense, where the talk about money wasn't, it didn't feel...
[29:05] It just felt tense.
[29:07] Not that it was taboo, but it was always a tense...
[29:10] It was never a nice subject to bring up.
[29:11] Yeah.
[29:12] If it was getting brought up, it was because tit for tat, what have you spent?
[29:16] Where's this money going?
[29:18] It was worse this week.
[29:19] Yeah, what are we doing?
[29:21] Yeah, or you've spent this, well, then I can spend...
[29:23] There was... Yeah, it wasn't, I guess, a positive.
[29:27] If it was brought up, it wasn't always positive.
[29:29] Whereas now...
[29:30] We talk about it with excitement and our dreams of the future and what is actually possible and money is working for us and it's not the other way around.
[29:39] We've got control of our money.
[29:41] Our money does not have control of us.
[29:42] So it's, yeah.
[29:43] I love that.
[29:44] Yeah, definitely.
[29:44] It gives you light at the end of the tunnel.
[29:48] I know I guess a lot of the fights or stuff in relationships all revolve around finance and stuff like that too.
[29:54] Yeah.
[29:55] It's one of the biggest causes for divorce.
[29:57] Yeah.
[29:57] So when you can ease those sort of burdens and everything like that.
[30:01] Yeah.
[30:01] Yeah.
[30:02] So how's it actually on that changed your relationship, this whole journey?
[30:07] We're on the – we've always been on the same page with,
[30:12] finances ash has always of course been the breadwinner and he you kind of have more could like control over the finances and um but it's eased the burden on him that's what the biggest change i've seen is that he always wore the brunt of um knowing when the mortgage was due and the bills and this and that and i kind of was raising three like you know i'm my responsibility is raising the children and he was all on him yep
[30:36] And I was just like, oh, I don't know when the mortgage payment's coming out.
[30:39] I couldn't even tell you how much it was.
[30:41] But now it's kind of like lighten the load, do you feel?
[30:44] Oh, 100%, yeah, because it's not that worry of, you know, before, like as I said, you have money here, there and everywhere.
[30:51] And then you see it building and then all of a sudden, oh, shit, this bill's coming in.
[30:54] Okay, yeah, what have we got to move around?
[30:55] And then you're moving stuff around to pay for it now.
[30:59] And I guess how we had it structured too, like we had money going out all the time.
[31:03] And now it's, yeah, we sort of, oh, it comes in and we've restructured it all.
[31:09] So it's a lot more yearly payments and stuff like that.
[31:13] You know, obviously the amounts and all that are bigger, but it doesn't hit the pocket.
[31:17] It's just like, oh, yeah, that's paid.
[31:19] It's taken care of.
[31:20] It's sorted, yeah.
[31:21] One less worry.
[31:22] Yeah, things just feel sorted.
[31:24] It's not like just a load on your shoulders anymore, which were like you were feeling.
[31:29] Oh, definitely.
[31:30] You feel the pressure.
[31:30] I don't know, you know.
[31:32] And it's, yeah, been, I guess, the main money earner and stuff like that.
[31:35] And you support the family and you sort of take that burden of going, okay, well, it's on me to make sure we keep living how we have.
[31:42] We've got a roof over our heads.
[31:43] We've got food on the table.
[31:45] Bills are paid.
[31:46] So, yeah, start feeling that pressure.
[31:48] And it's good when the pressure comes off.
[31:50] Yeah, it feels like the pressure's lifted.
[31:51] I feel like we've got – well, we do have it all set up for us now in a way that it's not in the back of our mind to be like, oh, where are we going to get that mortgage payment?
[32:02] Or we don't have the money coming up for Christmas to get – we just bought the kids a beautiful big – a couple thousand dollar like jungle gym for Christmas.
[32:13] We wouldn't have done that.
[32:14] We couldn't have done that years ago.
[32:15] Oh, it would have been but it would have gone our pay later.
[32:18] Yeah, yeah.
[32:21] I hope it's as big as the other couple who bought a jumping castle.
[32:25] Did you see that?
[32:26] I don't know.
[32:27] That they bought their kids a jumping castle because they can afford it.
[32:30] No, I didn't see that one.
[32:32] But I can so resonate with that because we spoke about it at the start of the year that we wanted to do it and then we have done it.
[32:41] Whereas previously it would have been zip paid or something.
[32:44] it would have been like, no, actually we can't afford that.
[32:48] So that's a nice feeling.
[32:50] But, yeah, the weight of all the responsibility being on Ash has lifted, that was – it did take its toll on him.
[32:58] So that's a nice feeling too.
[33:00] I feel like it's – we're definitely not as stressed about money.
[33:03] He's not as stressed about money as once we were.
[33:07] Oh, yeah, 100%.
[33:08] Yeah.
[33:09] Do you like that she's more involved with it now?
[33:11] Yeah, definitely.
[33:11] As well?
[33:12] And it wasn't ever a thing of me trying to hold it all.
[33:15] Of course, yeah.
[33:16] I think just the roles we sort of fell into and yeah.
[33:21] Yeah, like I couldn't have told you what our mortgage repayments were because you just took control of that because that's not took control, but you – There's always someone that does, right, and take bears that burden.
[33:29] Yeah, you wore the hat with them.
[33:31] And I guess that's where, you know, some of the tension comes from because then you saw, oh, hey, don't spend this because we've got this and all, you know, but then she was unaware what was coming out.
[33:40] But I sort of knew what bills were coming out.
[33:42] So you're balancing everything up and stuff like that.
[33:45] So – Yeah, and now I can see it's all very – yeah, I can see exactly what's coming in, what's going out.
[33:52] Whereas, yeah, once upon a time I was like –
[33:55] Like, you know, he just had the stress and the burden of it.
[34:00] We have a confused though.
[34:01] Like, but you're like, where's our money?
[34:03] Yes.
[34:03] Why are you saying no to this?
[34:05] Why we can't buy the presents?
[34:06] Yeah.
[34:06] Yeah.
[34:06] A hundred percent.
[34:08] Yeah.
[34:09] And it did build a little bit of the attention there because it was like, why are you saying no?
[34:13] Like it's, we've got the money, but he would know the black and white figures of, of everything.
[34:18] Whereas.
[34:19] Yeah.
[34:20] So, and even starting the infinity journey, um, you know,
[34:24] it's a lot for me to kind of take.
[34:26] He gets it all, like it clicks with you.
[34:29] Sometimes.
[34:31] They just tell chat to do it three times a year.
[34:33] No, that's right.
[34:33] Explain it again.
[34:34] I think sometimes the thing is it's trying to understand.
[34:37] It gets in your head more because you're trying to figure it out.
[34:40] Yeah, let the baker bake.
[34:40] And trying, I guess, let go of control of something as well.
[34:43] And as I say, you know, G says, let the baker bake.
[34:46] Yeah.
[34:47] But it's that.
[34:49] I guess it's always, you know, the trust thing and is it too good to be, you know, you still hold on to some of that.
[34:55] A bit of scepticism then, yeah.
[34:57] Yeah, yeah, exactly.
[34:57] Yeah, absolutely.
[34:58] You hold on to that a bit.
[34:59] So at the start and it's so fast paced.
[35:02] Like, you know, we'd signed up then all of a sudden.
[35:04] It's a whirlwind.
[35:05] We sort of got our two personal properties straight away.
[35:08] Yep.
[35:08] Yep.
[35:09] Um, so that was all coming through as we're rolling in and it's like, shit, this is just going, going, going.
[35:14] We just wanted to pay off our mortgage, but then we're like, now we can see what you can achieve in under a year, actually.
[35:20] Because you did say it was very much a whirlwind at the beginning, lots of paperwork and things like that.
[35:26] How did Infinity help you through that?
[35:28] Oh, yeah, the team supports.
[35:31] Like if you don't know something or if you've got questions, you know, give them a call.
[35:35] If they don't answer, leave a message, they get back to you.
[35:37] Yeah.
[35:37] It's, yeah, helped out immensely.
[35:40] Like it was, yeah, it made the process a hell of a lot easier.
[35:42] Yeah, we couldn't imagine doing it solo, like how someone would navigate it all.
[35:48] Yeah, that's right.
[35:49] Yeah, it's been, we had someone holding our hand the whole way through.
[35:53] And since having Amanda as our RM, she's just been.
[35:57] Oh, yeah, that was, yeah.
[35:58] It's like it feels like you just – it's like her older sister vibe for me.
[36:02] Like I feel like I've known her.
[36:04] You know, she just – it's just she's easy to talk to.
[36:07] She's on the same level.
[36:09] She doesn't talk in riddles.
[36:10] Like it's very easy to understand.
[36:13] She helps you understand it.
[36:14] And she's so, so, so very intelligent.
[36:17] So that's – you know, it makes you feel very safe.
[36:21] Yeah.
[36:21] Yeah.
[36:21] Yeah, with someone who's got –
[36:24] control it not control someone who's got is helping us with walking the journey with you yeah yeah looking over it all and keeping us accountable and yeah yeah no it's yeah it's good yeah oh that's so good and you did say that um one of your goals is to do a lap around australia do we feel like this is actually now part of maybe the five-year goal
[36:45] 100% because, well, that's, yeah, we've sort of, I guess, tacked it onto the back of the five-year goal in a way because prior to, you know, if we decided we wanted to do it, we still would have had a mortgage, still got all this, you know, extra costs and stuff like that.
[36:59] But, yeah, now it definitely feels a lot more.
[37:02] It feels like it's...
[37:04] real like it when we spoke about it a couple years ago it was very much felt like just a pipe dream like it was very much like yes one day we want to be able to do your lap of australia um but then not until now nearly a year in it's like oh that's actually going to be achievable because
[37:21] When we did crunch the numbers, like, okay, we need to be mortgage-free, but we want to do it when the kids are still young and while they're not in high school.
[37:29] Like, you want to be able to do it before it's really impacting their schooling.
[37:34] So, it just felt – it didn't feel achievable.
[37:37] It was a dream, but it didn't feel achievable.
[37:39] Whereas now, it's like, actually, we will be mortgage-free.
[37:42] in a few years and that's just mind-blowing in itself but then that in return that makes that dream very very real like yeah like we can see the light with that which is very exciting yeah probably only hire a bear not buy one though yeah you sell it as soon as you come back yeah exactly yeah yeah
[38:00] Yeah, don't need to be shouted at for that.
[38:01] Oh, but look, some of these things are okay once we're mortgage-free, right?
[38:04] Yeah, yeah.
[38:04] Because then we've got a bit more flexibility with our cash flow and we can start to say yes to some of these things.
[38:10] Yeah.
[38:10] You know, it's just harder when you have them at the beginning and you're still looking down the barrel of a 30-year home loan, 25-year home loan, and you go, I've got a $100,000 caravan.
[38:19] Yeah.
[38:19] Oh, that's right.
[38:19] That takes off a fifth of my mortgage.
[38:21] Yeah, yeah, exactly.
[38:22] And that's, I suppose, even before Infinity, we had a bit of an awakening moment
[38:26] To that, like, when I started, I didn't have all the toys there.
[38:30] I did buy myself a nice new 79 Series.
[38:32] Oh, something's coming up now.
[38:33] 79 Series Land Cruises.
[38:34] That was a few years before Infinity.
[38:36] And then, you know, it was good.
[38:38] I loved it.
[38:39] But...
[38:40] Didn't drive at a heap.
[38:41] Yeah.
[38:42] Like, I wouldn't take it – because I actually drive out to work.
[38:44] I wouldn't take it out because if we get a storm, you know, I don't want this $100,000 vehicle damaged and stuff.
[38:49] Yeah.
[38:49] It just sat in the driveway.
[38:51] So I had $100,000 sitting in the driveway.
[38:52] And then it sort of came to – you know, it is putting extra stress on the finance.
[38:56] Like, it's nice to have.
[38:58] It's not a need.
[38:58] And bit the bullet and just get rid of it.
[39:02] You know.
[39:02] It's also the market.
[39:03] Made some money.
[39:04] Yeah, made some money on it.
[39:05] Yeah.
[39:05] Used it to pay off – well, to raise this – like, paid off –
[39:09] Probably put it at the wrong spot, didn't put it off the home loan because we didn't know that back then.
[39:12] But I used it to pay all the debt out to then go, okay, we've free up more money.
[39:16] We've only now got the money.
[39:17] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[39:18] So, yeah, so it's just how you learn.
[39:22] And as you say, you've got money tied up in something, whereas put it off the home loan and stop paying the bank so much interest.
[39:28] Yeah, we've relearned a lot.
[39:31] Even prior to infinity, we got married.
[39:35] So we got married last year in November and that went on...
[39:39] The mortgage.
[39:40] The mortgage.
[39:41] The wedding off our mortgage.
[39:43] I mean, it was the wedding of my dreams, but still now if we knew what we knew...
[39:48] Because you lie to yourself and you go, look, we'll just get the cash now so we can pay for everything.
[39:52] Yeah.
[39:53] But what we'll do, we'll pay more into the mortgage and we'll get this paid down.
[39:55] Oh, we'll say that at the time.
[39:57] We'll knock this down in a year.
[39:58] Yeah.
[39:59] Not a chance.
[40:01] We just lied to ourselves a lot over, yeah.
[40:03] It was a lot of lying to ourselves to make ourselves feel good about what we were doing, I guess.
[40:07] But also, we didn't know what we know now.
[40:10] Knowledge is power and we are so much more educated with what we are doing.
[40:15] We would have never done that today, but, you know.
[40:18] And the funny thing is you see, you're like, oh, that's only added 15, 20 bucks a month to the mortgage or whatever it was.
[40:24] Like it's this tiny little bit.
[40:25] Do you talk yourself into it?
[40:26] Yeah.
[40:27] Oh, that's fine.
[40:27] Like really, that's not going to impact us at all.
[40:29] But then you're like, oh, okay, long term, let's look at how much it's actually going to add.
[40:34] Start to look at compounding interest.
[40:36] Yeah.
[40:36] When you start learning all that.
[40:38] Yeah.
[40:39] Mind blowing.
[40:40] Okay.
[40:41] So we've got the goal of the lap around Australia, which we want to do with the kids.
[40:45] Talk to me about where else you see yourselves in five years.
[40:50] Hopefully Ash home.
[40:51] Yep.
[40:53] Not working away, not sacrificing half the year.
[40:58] Hopefully, well, we will be mortgage free, which is exciting to say out loud.
[41:06] And healthy.
[41:07] Yeah.
[41:08] Yeah.
[41:09] Definitely.
[41:09] What about you?
[41:10] What do you reckon?
[41:10] No, I agree with that.
[41:11] Yeah.
[41:12] Mortgage paid off and me home every night.
[41:16] Just got to sort out what I'm going to do for a job there.
[41:18] Yeah.
[41:18] Okay.
[41:19] So we don't know what that looks like.
[41:20] There's a few things in the pipeline, but what I'm going to settle on, we'll see.
[41:23] Um...
[41:24] But you're thinking about it already, which is really good.
[41:27] Yeah.
[41:27] Because I guess I'm in a bit of a good spot working half the year.
[41:32] It frees up time to be able to try and build something or do something else.
[41:35] Yeah.
[41:36] Yeah, definitely.
[41:37] Definitely.
[41:37] It's, I guess, got to have the plan now.
[41:39] Otherwise, if we've got nothing and try and do it in five years.
[41:43] could fall flat on their ass.
[41:44] So yeah, definitely thinking about it all.
[41:46] And yeah, hopefully maybe even 2026 start putting some moves in play for building towards that goal as well, which also might help get the PPR quicker.
[41:57] Who knows?
[41:58] We'll see.
[41:59] But yeah, the biggest thing would be, I guess, yeah, getting that, the house paid off, get sorted for a lap.
[42:05] And yeah, that's our main goal.
[42:08] Yeah.
[42:09] And you did mention you want to be healthy.
[42:11] Yeah.
[42:12] Talk us through what else you did with Infinity that helped with that.
[42:15] So I did the 60 Strong Challenge.
[42:18] Yeah.
[42:19] What was that?
[42:19] Started in August.
[42:21] Yeah.
[42:22] Started in August and finished in October.
[42:24] Yep.
[42:25] And yeah, had pretty good results with it.
[42:27] How much did you lose?
[42:29] 15.9 kilos a lot.
[42:31] That is wild.
[42:32] That's why I asked the question before and I looked at Tez.
[42:33] I want to see what a reaction.
[42:35] Like, what do you feel about your new husband?
[42:37] I know.
[42:38] It felt like it was happening in front of me, but then it wasn't until like I look at the before and after photos and I'm like, holy shit.
[42:47] Like...
[42:48] Yeah.
[42:48] I'm so proud of him.
[42:50] But that's just, that's Ash.
[42:51] When he puts his mind to something, he does it.
[42:53] Like he just needs to be all in.
[42:54] And that's how I know this infinity journey is going to be amazing because we're all in.
[42:58] And when we're all in, it's, yeah.
[43:01] But yeah, he did an amazing, amazing job.
[43:03] And...
[43:04] I watched even when it rained, when you were tired, when you were exhausted, like you were still just stuck to eating clean.
[43:13] There was events too where you attempted to drink but didn't, like very strict.
[43:19] I think one of the good things that came out, obviously, the weight loss and the health side and all that, but even just the, I guess, the mental side of it, like the mindset and everything like that, because it would be you'd be –
[43:29] you know, life happens, you'd be tired, it'd be shit, whatever.
[43:33] And you go, I've got to like... And the thing is I'd tried doing it by myself and that before as in just, you know, getting up and training.
[43:40] But I guess with the probably support of the community or that, you know, you've got that account.
[43:44] Because you work Casey on Nick.
[43:46] So this was not the one just finishes one before.
[43:49] So it was only Nick.
[43:49] It was only Nick.
[43:50] Yeah.
[43:50] So, but it sort of gives you that accountability.
[43:52] Like if, if I don't, like I'm not, not here to fail.
[43:57] So yeah, it was, that was.
[43:58] And you said at the start, he said, I'm going to win this and I'm going to get it.
[44:01] Well, before we even signed Infinity, we were listening to the podcast.
[44:05] Cause that's kind of how we started learning.
[44:08] And I guess, yeah, building the trust and everything.
[44:11] We were listening to podcasts and Ash did say, I'm going to be on a podcast one day.
[44:14] And then this 60... You're a manifesting king.
[44:18] And then this 60 strong come about and he said, I'm going to win it and that's how I'm going to get on a podcast.
[44:22] And here we are.
[44:24] Manifesting king and queen.
[44:25] I love it.
[44:26] No, it was awesome.
[44:27] Yeah, really good.
[44:29] I got to meet Brett and Tracy as well at the Chrissy party.
[44:32] So Trace won the women's one and Brett, run her up, mate, run her up, you know.
[44:38] Yeah.
[44:39] He was a bit sore about that.
[44:40] Yeah.
[44:41] And I did listen back to the results.
[44:42] He reckoned it was only a few hundred.
[44:43] I got you by 600, mate.
[44:44] That's it.
[44:44] That's all it was.
[44:45] Oh, my goodness.
[44:46] But no, it was an amazing effort by them.
[44:48] It was so good.
[44:49] And yeah, it was so good actually catching up and meeting them at Chrissy party and having a laugh and all that.
[44:53] Yeah.
[44:53] Ash, I pulled up with – I felt bad.
[44:56] I didn't continue partying on with them.
[44:58] I just saw Ash get to the next level at the Christmas party.
[45:00] He was in party mode.
[45:01] He was ready to celebrate.
[45:02] You're like, I'll let him have it.
[45:04] Yeah, I'll let you have it.
[45:05] Someone's got to wake up to the kids tomorrow morning.
[45:06] It was a little bit of a mission.
[45:07] I'd only come off the back of, on the Wednesday before, I'd gone and got hernia surgery.
[45:11] So I was sort of a bit sore and sorry.
[45:13] So I probably had a few extra drinks to kick.
[45:15] Yeah, but nothing was stopping you from that Christmas party.
[45:17] I saw that pose.
[45:18] I was pretty happy, yeah, to get down there and it all went well.
[45:20] So, no, it was a good bit of fun.
[45:23] But, yeah, definitely.
[45:25] 60 strong, like, it was good, yeah.
[45:26] The mindset, everything like that.
[45:28] The last week was a killer.
[45:30] The hernia was hurting.
[45:32] I was crook.
[45:32] And it's just like, I haven't come this far to fail.
[45:34] Like, I'm going to end up in hospital before I tap out of this challenge sort of thing.
[45:39] So, yeah, I felt that was probably, yeah, a real good thing for me.
[45:42] Like, get the mindset back, I guess.
[45:44] It's sort of been sort of floating along a bit with, you know, work and all that and getting, I don't know, sort of.
[45:51] make false promises to yourself and you don't hold yourself accountable.
[45:53] Just like you did with the money on the mortgage.
[45:55] Yeah, exactly.
[45:56] So, yeah, it's been good.
[45:57] It's done a bit of a reset, health and mentally and wealth.
[46:02] That's amazing.
[46:03] Did you ever think when you signed up for a finance company or a budgeting company that you'd be then doing 60 strong and losing nearly 16 kilos?
[46:11] No, not at all.
[46:12] Even...
[46:14] our one year anniversary clicked over and we got a wedding anniversary clicked over sorry and we got a um happy anniversary like pack from Amanda and I'm like how like that's just beautiful how why did she even remember that that was our one year anniversary in itself that's beautiful um
[46:33] Just little things like that.
[46:34] It's just next level.
[46:35] It's not just a finance company or brokers.
[46:39] It's, yeah, it's something completely different in itself.
[46:45] Yeah.
[46:46] Little things like that.
[46:47] Even the, what else did we get?
[46:50] The...
[46:51] Pins.
[46:51] Oh, the pins for your properties and all that.
[46:53] A couple pins for our investment properties.
[46:55] So celebrating our wins there, which is amazing.
[46:58] It's not just us celebrating with each other.
[47:00] We've got a whole community and, you know, a team that's helping us celebrate, which pumps us up.
[47:06] Yeah.
[47:07] 100%.
[47:08] And even the protein waters that got sent to us.
[47:12] Amazing.
[47:13] That helped during your 60s strong as well.
[47:15] Yeah, landed a good time.
[47:16] Yeah.
[47:17] So I can't drink those.
[47:19] Oh, really?
[47:20] The caffeine in there.
[47:21] Oh, true.
[47:21] Too much for you.
[47:22] Oh, man.
[47:24] No, they're weak in our household.
[47:25] You've got to get Beck and G to do an uncaffeinated one for them.
[47:27] Yeah, I do.
[47:28] Just the protein water.
[47:28] I get the protein waters.
[47:29] I love those.
[47:30] Yeah, I did like half of one when I was doing a masterclass.
[47:33] I was like, what?
[47:34] How am I going to get through the two days?
[47:37] No, it's, yeah, it's definitely, I guess, outdone expectations and stuff like that of just how much community is and what you guys give back and, you know, the money that's spent.
[47:47] And, you know, obviously it's not a free thing to join.
[47:50] Like, yes, you pay, but what comes... Maybe for you guys.
[47:53] Oh, yeah, yeah.
[47:54] It's been free for us, actually.
[47:56] But even, like, what comes, you know, what comes back to it and all that.
[48:00] Like, look at going to REM and everything, you know, you...
[48:03] Yeah, REM was incredible.
[48:05] We rocked up at the airport.
[48:08] We got our own transfer and this and that.
[48:12] We felt like royalty.
[48:13] Why wouldn't they just get a bus and if you get in a bit early, you just wait at the airport.
[48:17] Like here's a cab charge.
[48:18] Make your way there.
[48:20] Stuff like that.
[48:21] Yeah, we got a transfer.
[48:21] There was like a Mackay flight that was only just behind us.
[48:24] I'm like...
[48:25] Oh, they'll probably just put us all together.
[48:26] No, no, you're... One at a time, yep.
[48:29] It's like, and all that, like, you just think, God, this all costs a lot to run all this side of things.
[48:35] You know, everything's put on down there, put you up, you know.
[48:38] That crazy party, I can only imagine what that costs.
[48:41] Like that...
[48:41] Well, yeah, the REM and the Christmas party, they're the last couple of things.
[48:45] That's what we've done this year, and they've just both been incredible.
[48:49] Just the catering, the alcohol.
[48:52] Like, we went hard at REM and drank a fair bit.
[48:57] Bit of first night fever probably.
[48:59] So actually if there is anyone watching this that recognises Tez from the bathroom and went, oh, that was that lady pregnant?
[49:05] She had morning sickness?
[49:06] No, it wasn't.
[49:06] She wasn't morning sick.
[49:07] I can't believe he's just thrown that.
[49:09] Probably a couple too many red wines.
[49:12] No, we had a first night fever because we were feeling the vibes.
[49:17] We'd also got off the plane and our luggage was missing.
[49:21] So I'm actually scared because two out of three or two infinity things we've come to, we've ended up with...
[49:26] having to try and claim money back.
[49:28] So hopefully this isn't a third.
[49:29] Oh, goodness.
[49:30] So, yeah, the baggage didn't turn up and stuff like that.
[49:33] But we still made the most.
[49:34] We had a great time.
[49:34] Yeah, we had a great time.
[49:35] And the next day, Doc was doing his talk on stage and everything and my head was spinning.
[49:41] And I'm like, why did I drink so much?
[49:43] Anyway, I had to go to the bathroom and spewed.
[49:45] And there was a woman in there and she's like, oh, my gosh, are you okay?
[49:48] And I'm like, oh.
[49:49] I'm pregnant.
[49:50] I'm not pregnant.
[49:51] I'm like, oh, it's just morning sickness.
[49:53] And I went back down and sat down to Ash and I'm like, I'm so embarrassed.
[49:56] I've just lied to someone.
[49:57] So I feel so bad whoever that lady was.
[50:00] But, yeah, we definitely.
[50:01] Will you use your REM one where they brought all the tequila shots out?
[50:04] No.
[50:05] What will we?
[50:06] June REM?
[50:08] June, July.
[50:08] No, June.
[50:09] Yeah.
[50:10] It was just a lot of wine drunk.
[50:11] Yeah.
[50:12] Ash actually got given a bottle of wine by G because – You gave him the finger and told him to fuck off.
[50:19] So he gave Ash a bottle of wine.
[50:20] No, because he was talking about, you know, selling the dog and all that.
[50:23] And we were at the front and I'm sort of looking at him and I don't know if he thought it was – he's like caught me on.
[50:28] He's like, oh, I see you're looking.
[50:30] And he's like, oh, and I'm like, oh, fuck off.
[50:33] And –
[50:33] I don't know if you thought, because I didn't want to sell, but it was more that we've been wanting to sell it for a while.
[50:38] I had to finish stuff.
[50:39] So it was Tess in their elbow and me, oh, I told you.
[50:41] Don't be one of them.
[50:43] Come on.
[50:44] Because we sat on that house for... Longer than we should have.
[50:47] Yeah.
[50:48] Which has actually paid off now, but yeah.
[50:50] Yeah, in hindsight.
[50:51] But yeah, it was always in our back of our mind to, we need to sell it.
[50:55] We need to, like, we need to get our shit together and sell it.
[50:57] Yeah.
[50:57] So I was nudging you and then...
[50:59] Yeah, G's caught the eye.
[51:01] Gave you a bottle of wine and said you can't open it till you sell the Russie House.
[51:06] So we're cracking.
[51:07] We're going to crack it.
[51:08] It goes unconditional.
[51:09] It's unconditional now.
[51:10] Settlement on the 15th.
[51:11] On the 15th.
[51:12] So we'll crack that bottle.
[51:12] So the mortgage before Christmas is going to be kind half.
[51:15] Hopefully.
[51:16] No, no, no.
[51:17] It's unconditional.
[51:17] Oh, yeah, no, definitely.
[51:18] It will be.
[51:18] Yeah, sorry.
[51:19] No, no.
[51:19] Yeah, it will be.
[51:20] It will be.
[51:20] So we'll be cracking that bottle of wine and choosing.
[51:23] Yeah.
[51:23] Yeah.
[51:23] I love it.
[51:24] You'll have to put that in the Infinity Fam Facebook group for sure.
[51:27] Yeah.
[51:27] It's sitting there in our kitchen.
[51:28] Yeah.
[51:29] And, yeah, it was a good little.
[51:30] Laverton Hill.
[51:31] It was a good little boost for us.
[51:32] Those are good ones.
[51:33] It's been ironed off, yeah.
[51:33] Yeah.
[51:34] Yeah.
[51:34] It was a good boost for us to be like, okay, we want to crack that bottle of wine so that we've done, that we've got rid of the dog.
[51:40] So it's like
[51:44] bottle of wine and there's even been a couple evenings around like oh i could go a glass of wine no no you can't crack that we need to sell we need to get rid of the dog first so we're there so yeah we'll be looking forward to cracking that yeah that's so exciting guys that's a lot achieved in a very short amount of time yeah it's a well-wings no it's yeah it's been crazy crazy journey so far yeah and we would listen to people on podcasts and think and we would say oh how good would that be how amazing would that be and like here now we are and i guess the thing is we sort of
[52:13] Didn't want to hum and ha and sit on it because it's like, well, what if we get five years down the track?
[52:17] I'm going, we wish you did it.
[52:18] And it's already now.
[52:18] You're like, I wish we'd found these guys five years ago.
[52:20] Yeah.
[52:21] And jumped on it.
[52:22] We wouldn't have made the silly little mistakes.
[52:24] But it's all learning and we're here now.
[52:26] You find it when you find it.
[52:28] Yeah.
[52:29] Yeah.
[52:29] Yeah.
[52:31] And it's never too late to start.
[52:32] No.
[52:32] No, that's right.
[52:33] Well, better off doing something than nothing.
[52:35] Nothing's going to change.
[52:36] That's right.
[52:37] And that's where we were.
[52:37] And that hamster wheel doing the same thing.
[52:39] And now look at us in under a year what we've achieved.
[52:42] Like mortgage is nearly gone, three investment properties.
[52:46] Insane.
[52:47] That's nearly 16 kilos gone as well.
[52:51] So, yeah.
[52:51] It's been a great, how many months?
[52:53] Eight.
[52:54] Yeah.
[52:54] Yeah.
[52:55] Months.
[52:55] Not even really that.
[52:56] No, not really.
[52:57] Because if everything really, the dust settled in June.
[52:59] Yeah.
[53:00] It's not even eight.
[53:00] Yeah.
[53:01] And we're only really, like, the last couple of months is where we've really kind of been like, okay, we, you know, really kind of understanding it.
[53:09] The, can see the bigger picture.
[53:11] It was a lot.
[53:12] to kind of take in relearning um the first few months for me anyway for the first few months really kind of re-looking looking at things and how it's done so the last few months i'm like okay i really understand it now and let's go all in sort of yeah deep in the process now yeah yeah there's no turning back now no too into deep now it's the cult yeah the cult yeah yeah we're in the cult
[53:39] Well, if someone was to ask you to explain infinity in one sentence, what would you say?
[53:44] Oh, that's a good question.
[53:47] One sentence.
[53:49] Life-changing.
[53:49] Give me a paragraph if you want.
[53:51] I don't mind.
[53:51] I guess, yeah.
[53:53] Life-changing for us.
[53:54] Yeah, it's definitely like a realisation of what can be achieved, I guess, if you've got the right strategies and… Right people.
[54:01] Right people.
[54:01] Yeah.
[54:01] Yeah.
[54:02] Yeah, it really is.
[54:03] It's, yeah, a realisation that anything is possible.
[54:07] Yeah.
[54:08] Yeah.
[54:09] Really, that's what it's done for us.
[54:10] It's opened our eyes and made us see that there is a bigger picture and it's, yeah, that anything, actually anything is possible.
[54:18] Yeah, you don't have to be stuck doing the same thing over and over again.
[54:20] Yeah.
[54:21] Yeah.
[54:22] Yeah.
[54:22] And it's not just dreams anymore.
[54:24] No, that's where it's all starting to come together.
[54:27] Yeah, like we were mind blown with the idea of mortgage being gone within seven years and for us it's going to be within...
[54:35] Yes, it will be.
[54:36] It's five.
[54:37] It will be five.
[54:38] Probably even under five.
[54:39] Like, that's mind-blowing.
[54:42] Well, like you said, the calculation for that five years wasn't with that property sold.
[54:46] No, that's not.
[54:47] So we've got to do a recalculation.
[54:48] Yes, we should.
[54:48] We've got to look at the strategy again.
[54:50] Yeah.
[54:50] Because now we've halved the mortgage.
[54:52] We've now increased our potential, right?
[54:55] And that's where that debt recycling that you heard from your friend comes into play, right?
[54:58] Because we're going to take what you've put on the home loan and recycle it out.
[55:01] Yes.
[55:01] Yeah, yeah.
[55:02] We can go do more.
[55:02] Yes.
[55:03] Yeah.
[55:03] Yeah.
[55:04] Because the biggest thing holding a lot of people back borrowing capacity wise is bad debt.
[55:07] Yeah.
[55:08] Right.
[55:08] It's rent or your bad debt.
[55:09] If we can pay that off, we've opened up our capacity to do more.
[55:13] Yeah.
[55:13] Yeah.
[55:14] So that's exciting too.
[55:15] I thought of that.
[55:17] We're going to have a strategy in your future, a part two podcast, I think.
[55:20] As well.
[55:21] Yeah.
[55:22] Awesome.
[55:22] Yeah.
[55:23] Yeah.
[55:23] We will need to jump back on with the calculator and...
[55:27] and put those numbers in and see what, what figure jumps up.
[55:30] Yeah.
[55:31] That'll be exciting.
[55:32] We've definitely got to look at that.
[55:33] Cause I think that five years is going to come down.
[55:35] Yeah.
[55:36] Yeah.
[55:36] That's cool.
[55:37] That even gives us more time to bank a bit more than two.
[55:39] And yeah.
[55:40] Yep.
[55:41] Start doing.
[55:41] Because now we don't have the, the, um, expenses of the, of the dog, of the, the rates, the electricity, all the things, all that's now just going to come back with to us.
[55:51] So that's.
[55:51] And we're replaced with new properties now, which gives us that more depreciation and things like that.
[55:56] Yeah, definitely.
[55:57] A lot less upkeep.
[55:59] Yeah.
[55:59] Like this was an old house, old two storey.
[56:02] Yeah.
[56:02] Yeah.
[56:03] Yeah.
[56:04] Yeah.
[56:04] So that'd be good.
[56:05] Yeah.
[56:06] Awesome, guys.
[56:07] Well, thank you for sharing all of that.
[56:09] That's all right.
[56:09] Do you have any questions for me?
[56:11] We thought about this actually this morning.
[56:13] I'm like, do you have any questions for Rachel?
[56:15] so many of you guys are clients that have come across to work here.
[56:18] So, you know, you know it, you believe it.
[56:20] Yeah.
[56:21] And that's what we've been saying to Nat.
[56:23] Like, there needs to be a whole other podcasting done on you.
[56:26] Just the staff.
[56:27] The staff journey, like, from going to that.
[56:28] Because it's so interesting.
[56:29] Hearing Nat's story before of applying for the job.
[56:32] Yeah, like, it's real cool.
[56:33] Yeah, you just assume that maybe you had come from finance, from another company, and then you've, you know, and same with Nat.
[56:40] Maybe she was just from somewhere else.
[56:42] Like, but you guys were actually clients.
[56:43] Yeah.
[56:44] Yeah.
[56:44] And, yeah, that there's a whole back story there that you don't even, you know, you just assume, I just assume that you come from finance and from, but that you actually worked your way up and that you've worked alongside G and Beck.
[56:57] And I guess that's what G says.
[56:59] Like, it's not, we don't hire the skillset.
[57:01] Exactly.
[57:01] It's to hire the right person and train them.
[57:03] Yeah.
[57:03] Like, it's.
[57:03] They hire the attitude, which is so true because I've seen so many of my colleagues go through the same, you know, trajectory.
[57:11] Full transparency.
[57:12] I haven't been in Infinity the whole time.
[57:14] I was probably with Infinity first for about two and a half years.
[57:16] And then just through some personal reasons and office shuffles, I had to leave.
[57:20] But I stayed in the industry.
[57:22] And I kind of watched Infinity from far.
[57:23] And I had so much FOMO.
[57:24] I was like, I'm loving what they're doing.
[57:27] But it just didn't work.
[57:30] for my family at the time.
[57:31] And then when I did move to the Gold Coast, I didn't really think much of it.
[57:35] I was like, oh, look, I'm pretty set where I am.
[57:37] I just work from home, do my thing.
[57:39] But then somehow Jay found out I'd moved to the Gold Coast.
[57:42] I didn't even call him.
[57:43] And he found out and I get a call.
[57:44] And I'm like, oh, my God, Graham Holmes calling me.
[57:46] I'm like, why is he calling me?
[57:47] He goes, you've moved to the Gold Coast.
[57:49] I was like, what the hell?
[57:50] hell did you know that and he's like i have my ways you're coming back and i was like easiest decision i've ever made amazing yeah so i've been back now three years yeah so overall just over five years with infinity and there's no one else doing no what we're doing this is something um on a whole other level yeah this is incredible and yeah
[58:12] On so many levels, it's incredible.
[58:14] Yeah.
[58:15] No, I feel very lucky to be a part of it.
[58:17] Yeah, so do we.
[58:18] So do we.
[58:19] We feel very lucky and very fortunate to be a part of it too because not everyone gets to be a client either.
[58:23] So we do feel very...
[58:25] When we were going through the process of applying, we were very nervous and crossing our fingers and hoping... And, you know, so we feel very fortunate too to be a client.
[58:33] Yeah.
[58:34] Amazing.
[58:35] Anything else?
[58:36] Do you have any questions for Rach?
[58:37] I was just thinking, look...
[58:39] No pressure.
[58:39] No, no.
[58:40] It's, I guess, a big thing.
[58:42] You're taking the reins from June with all this.
[58:44] How do you feel with all that?
[58:46] I'm so excited.
[58:48] So ready.
[58:48] You're so ready.
[58:49] Yeah.
[58:50] I didn't think I would be, to be honest.
[58:52] If you can stand on stage at...
[58:54] at REM and at the Christmas party, then, you know, you can really do anything.
[58:59] That's incredible.
[58:59] That's a lot of people.
[59:01] That's a lot of people.
[59:02] Yeah, well, it's just I kind of had no choice.
[59:04] As soon as G was like, he goes, oh, you're going to do some podcasts with Doc?
[59:07] I'm like, oh, am I?
[59:09] So there's that, you know, seeing something, something in me thing again.
[59:12] And I was like, okay, Doc's kind of...
[59:15] I don't know.
[59:15] He's a smart man.
[59:17] And hard to navigate back on track.
[59:19] Oh, you don't say.
[59:20] You do really well.
[59:21] You do really well.
[59:22] I did have a laugh at the Chrissy party when he rocked up on stage.
[59:25] Didn't he look so amazing though?
[59:27] I loved his Coachella fit.
[59:30] No, it was awesome.
[59:30] And the sunnies, it was so good.
[59:32] So, yeah, did the podcast and he goes, after a masterclass, he goes, start learning the slides.
[59:38] You're up.
[59:39] But the next one I was like, that's in four weeks.
[59:41] He goes, yeah.
[59:42] No pressure.
[59:42] And I was like, oh, my God.
[59:44] And it's just been a very quick trajectory from there.
[59:48] And I kind of started loving it more than I thought I would.
[59:51] And I think for me, I've always gone, how can I go bigger?
[59:54] How can I touch people's lives in a bigger way?
[59:57] And I think this is the only way to do it.
[59:59] So I feel very blessed, very grateful.
[1:00:02] And I get to meet amazing people like you.
[1:00:04] Yeah.
[1:00:04] Thank you.
[1:00:05] That's awesome.
[1:00:06] Yeah.
[1:00:07] Congratulations on it.
[1:00:08] Thank you.
[1:00:08] Congratulations.
[1:00:09] Thank you.
[1:00:10] And we feel very lucky to be your first.
[1:00:12] Yeah.
[1:00:14] Popped my cherry.
[1:00:15] Cut that out.
[1:00:15] Hopefully no regrets.
[1:00:17] No regrets.
[1:00:18] Awesome, guys.
[1:00:20] That's it.
[1:00:22] Awesome.
[1:00:23] Well done.
[1:00:24] Thank you.
[1:00:24] That was good.
[1:00:25] That was awesome.
[1:00:26] You're fucking gone.
[1:00:27] See ya.
