In this bonus episode of the Money Mentor: Changing Lives podcast, powerhouse client Daya, sits down with her Infinity Relationship Manager Glen and Finance Strategist Travis. At 63, Daya came to the 2-Day Masterclass simply to support her sister, but walked away with a whole new vision for her own financial future. Despite already being a self-funded retiree with no debt, she made bold moves: sold the investment property she was emotionally tied to and built a 4-property portfolio with Infinity. [0:00] This team is different because any time I have a question or think something's not going right, I call someone at infinity and I get the answer, someone to help or someone to resolve it.
[0:18] I think that's the difference, I think, with infinity because a lot of people you do join, they do make a lot of promises,
[0:28] But it never eventuates because, you know, you call them, they don't know you.
[0:33] Yeah.
[0:34] You know, they don't know where you're at.
[0:36] And they'll say, oh, we'll talk to you again.
[0:40] Come and meet us.
[0:41] And then you meet them and then you go back and they don't know you again.
[0:46] So...
[0:47] carrying your fucking fossil money isn't rude of all evil the fucking lack of it is not money the lack of understanding money when i put that into emphasis when i realize our psychological effect and how it hit our family i fdb in the fucking way good morning diana thanks for coming in this morning how are you thank you i'm good how are you diana it's great to see you again i'm great thank you
[1:10] We appreciate, obviously, you've just moved to the Gold Coast.
[1:15] Yes, I have.
[1:16] How's the change from Sydney?
[1:18] It's quite good.
[1:20] It's lovely.
[1:21] Eve is beautiful, but I'm surrounded by boxers at the moment.
[1:25] So, you know, until I unpack and all that, I won't feel like home just yet.
[1:30] But anyway, it's looking good.
[1:33] Very good.
[1:34] Well, you've come to the right city, right?
[1:36] You can't beat this weather at the moment.
[1:38] No.
[1:39] Definitely a change from Sydney.
[1:40] It's beautiful.
[1:41] The weather is great.
[1:43] It'll be freezing in Sydney, I think, at the moment.
[1:46] But anyway, it's good.
[1:48] Very good.
[1:49] Sunshine, no rain.
[1:51] That's good.
[1:52] So I just wanted to obviously get you on as you have a unique story.
[1:57] Do you mind sharing, because I know that you've been with us now for just over five years.
[2:02] Do you mind sharing with everyone when you came on board, where you were at compared to where you're at today?
[2:10] Okay.
[2:12] I joined, well, I first met Gee at the Richard Branson Center
[2:19] seminar, I think, Success Resource, ran it.
[2:23] And I saw him speaking, and I saw Megan and Jeremy speaking, and I sort of thought, hmm.
[2:32] Something.
[2:32] I don't know.
[2:33] I think everyone says that they don't know what clicks, you know, suddenly.
[2:37] Because there was, like, quite a lot of speakers doing various things, you know, Forex and Amazon trading and all those sort of things.
[2:45] But somehow he seems to be quite down to it.
[2:48] Well, he spoke simple language, you know.
[2:52] Everyone had, you know, when they spoke, it was a bit different, so...
[2:56] And then I sort of thought, oh, okay, I might join this and see what there is, you know, to do.
[3:03] I just thought it was mainly about restructuring myself.
[3:07] And I thought it would be good for my sister as well to sort of come in to sort of see what it's about.
[3:14] And I joined and then didn't do the masterclass for, I think I joined in 2019, didn't do the masterclass until 2020 in June or something because I had a reluctant husband, Selena, who would have said, oh...
[3:30] two days, weekend, you know, because she works full-time and it's a bit difficult.
[3:36] But finally when he did the Zoom masterclass, he said, oh, I'm in.
[3:40] So we did the Zoom masterclass and we both joined.
[3:44] I didn't know she was joining.
[3:47] She didn't know I was joining.
[3:48] I joined and she said, I joined too.
[3:50] I said, oh, that's great.
[3:52] So, you know, we joined.
[3:53] We had to put all our paperwork in about...
[3:57] What we had and all that.
[3:59] And at that time, I had my property in Sydney that I was living in, near Olympic Park.
[4:08] And I had one investment property in a place called Abbotsford.
[4:15] And, you know, we just did a lot of Zoom seminars and all that at that time because COVID and, you know, so we were all years kind of thing because, you know, nowhere to go.
[4:27] So, listen, he was doing quite a lot of Zoom seminars, which was fantastic because you're learning all the time and, you know, you sort of pick up one or two things at each Zoom meeting.
[4:39] And then...
[4:42] Lou called one day in September of 2020, and he said, you know, because something for you, come in and see us.
[4:49] And so I went to see him, and he sort of said...
[4:53] He had this whiteboard, same as G does, and he had all these houses.
[4:57] And then he was saying, why have you got this?
[4:59] Why have you got this?
[5:00] Why don't you pay this off?
[5:01] Do this, do this.
[5:03] Okay.
[5:03] And he said, we've got something for you, you know.
[5:05] And it had a property in Park Ridge.
[5:07] Okay.
[5:08] Dual all.
[5:09] Yeah.
[5:09] So he said, you know, this will suit you and we can get the loan and all that.
[5:15] So...
[5:16] And I was, I suppose I was a bit concerned because, you know, retired, getting a loan.
[5:23] Just on that, so you came on board and you were actually retired.
[5:27] I was retired already.
[5:29] And how long had you been retired at that point?
[5:31] I was, what was it, 29, two years ago.
[5:37] I left at 60, but I didn't retire until two years after that because I was on leave, long service leave.
[5:44] So I was retired for two years, officially.
[5:47] Officially.
[5:47] Yeah.
[5:48] Yeah.
[5:48] So it was kind of a, you know, when someone says you can buy something and banks don't even give you money for anything, you know, so I don't know if I'll get a loan.
[5:57] But anyway, he said, no, we can get something for you.
[6:00] And I said, okay.
[6:03] But I didn't sign straight away because I was a bit concerned.
[6:05] So I went back and talked to my sister, Selena, and she said, oh, you joined, so why don't you do what they tell you?
[6:12] So I said, okay.
[6:13] So I rang Lou and said, okay, I'll come back.
[6:17] So I signed on the dotted line, and then Park Ridge was built, and it got rented.
[6:23] And then I think I came to my first REM June of 2021.
[6:29] Okay.
[6:33] When I got across the border, they let me in.
[6:37] So I came for the REM.
[6:39] It was mind-blowing.
[6:41] I think everyone feels that way.
[6:42] I think when they first come to the first REM, it's like crazy.
[6:46] You know?
[6:48] You don't know what's going to happen and what you're doing.
[6:52] And I met Megan and Jeremy at the airport.
[6:55] They're fantastic people.
[6:57] And so came to the REM and then saw Travis, because I've been talking to Travis a few times.
[7:04] And then he said, oh, we've got something for Selena too.
[7:08] You know, and I said, oh, okay.
[7:10] You know, and anyway, we came.
[7:13] G did the thing on, you know, in the reserve, Len Fox Park, standing on the, you know, the tables, picnic tables in Labrador.
[7:25] And he said, look at this building, you know.
[7:27] This is going to be, you know, built by this time, and the views will never be blocked, you know.
[7:36] The reserve is here, and, you know, it's a great sort of place and all that.
[7:40] Then we came back, and...
[7:42] Then Travis had an apartment for me, a two-bedroom.
[7:46] A two-bedroom, yeah.
[7:48] Two-bedroom on the same floor as Helena.
[7:50] I do see a side, yeah.
[7:52] Yeah.
[7:53] Neighbours.
[7:53] Neighbours, yeah.
[7:54] Well done, Travis.
[7:55] Yeah, so I said, okay.
[7:57] So I signed on the dotted line again.
[8:01] And then I went back home and I thought, hmm, maybe a three-bedroom would be better.
[8:08] So I rang Travis and said, maybe a three-bedroom Travis.
[8:12] He said, okay.
[8:13] By that time, I think a lot of it had already been sold, right?
[8:16] It had, yeah.
[8:17] Yeah, yeah.
[8:18] So I had to move you away from your sister.
[8:20] That's right.
[8:21] It was very sad.
[8:24] And anyway, so I think I had a choice of the centre one and the two other ones on the side.
[8:34] And then we discussed it and said, this is better in the centre because you've got views of Crystal Bay.
[8:42] And I said, OK, we'll get that one.
[8:45] OK.
[8:45] And I said, oh, Travis, how about another two-bedroom maybe?
[8:49] Do you think I can afford it?
[8:50] I always ask Travis if I can afford anything.
[8:53] And he said, yeah, we can do it, I think, you know.
[8:56] What did I say to that?
[8:58] There was a catch for that one.
[8:59] Yeah, he said, I have to sell it.
[9:01] Probably you said.
[9:04] I don't know if I said I'd never sell it.
[9:06] Yes.
[9:08] I'm sure I was reluctant to sell it.
[9:11] Yeah.
[9:12] So I was reluctant because, like you say, emotional.
[9:14] It's a big decision.
[9:15] Big decision, yeah.
[9:16] Especially in Sydney, you know, you sort of think.
[9:19] Anyway, I said, okay, all right, I'll do it.
[9:22] So anyway, so bought that.
[9:26] And then I did sell Abbotsford in the December of 21.
[9:30] And how much did you get for Abbotsford?
[9:33] There was 1.465.
[9:37] So that was a really good capital growth.
[9:42] But it didn't have a good yield.
[9:43] You know, that time, 2021, the rental yield was very low.
[9:48] So, but, you know, it was fantastic.
[9:53] So it actually gave a lot of opportunities.
[9:56] What did she say?
[9:58] Sell one and buy 21?
[9:59] That's the one?
[10:02] I didn't get 21, but anyway.
[10:03] Trust in Travis?
[10:04] Yes, yes, trust in Travis.
[10:06] So anyway, so I got the two and I got both.
[10:13] How much capital gains?
[10:14] I know that hurt you.
[10:15] And you were very sad when you had to pay that bill, but how much did you have to pay in capital gains?
[10:20] About 250, I think.
[10:23] So it was sad, but you made the money, so it's okay.
[10:26] How much have you made on your properties that you purchased?
[10:31] Oh, now?
[10:33] Well, I think the three-bedroom, I'm not sure what the valuation is.
[10:39] I know there's someone forever to make those.
[10:41] Right, so I think the valuation was 1.6.
[10:43] You paid one?
[10:45] 1.1.
[10:45] 1.1.
[10:46] One one.
[10:47] So you made over $900,000 on that one.
[10:50] And then on the ground floor, you paid $589,000 or something.
[10:55] And that's probably worth over $1 million now as well.
[10:58] Yeah, so...
[10:59] So between the two, you made $1.3,000 at least, worst case.
[11:03] Very good.
[11:04] And you paid $250,000 in CGT, so it was worthwhile.
[11:08] It was very worthwhile.
[11:10] No, it was good.
[11:10] Good, Travis.
[11:11] No, that... And it's now you're home, right?
[11:13] Yeah.
[11:15] So G calls it the success fee, right?
[11:16] It is the success fee, yes.
[11:18] Yeah, yeah.
[11:18] No, it's... You had a property that you were emotionally attached to?
[11:22] Yeah, yeah.
[11:23] How long have you owned Abbotsford for?
[11:25] Oh, gosh, since 1993.
[11:27] So I sold it in... And that was your home?
[11:30] No, actually, it wasn't.
[11:31] That wasn't your home.
[11:32] It wasn't my home.
[11:33] It was never your home, but you told me you went in and you fixed it up.
[11:37] I always went to fix it up and, you know, do it up.
[11:40] So it had a lot of emotional attachment.
[11:43] Yeah, so, you know, yeah.
[11:46] And actually, the plan was I'll move in there someday, but I never did, you know, so...
[11:52] Yeah, but it was emotional attachment.
[11:55] Everyone has that right.
[11:56] It's really hard.
[11:57] But, no, I'm glad I did sell it, you know, and it was the right time as well, 2021, so that was good.
[12:07] And then it gave me the extra funds, so now I've got some funds to sort of, you know, do if I need to do other things, I've got it, and put the money to its lagoon as well.
[12:17] So that was fantastic.
[12:21] And then I had, I think, one more chalk, but that didn't go through, I think.
[12:27] So that was out, and then I've got Garfield now.
[12:31] Garfield.
[12:31] You've got a lagoon.
[12:33] Lagoon coming up.
[12:34] Lagoon coming up next year.
[12:38] And then Garfield in my SMS.
[12:40] So how many total do we have?
[12:42] How many are we counting?
[12:45] Brazil.
[12:47] Brazzler, you got the two eaves.
[12:49] We sold Park Ridge.
[12:50] Park Ridge is gone.
[12:51] And how much did we buy and sell that one for?
[12:58] We bought Park Ridge for $5.50 or something like that.
[13:03] And it sold for Dulocumency.
[13:04] And it was getting $900 in rent.
[13:06] Very good yield.
[13:06] For $8.25.
[13:17] But it was a good decision.
[13:18] The yield was good, yeah.
[13:19] The yield was very good.
[13:20] But it helped us then settle on the two eaves.
[13:23] Two eaves, yes, it did, yeah.
[13:27] So that was good.
[13:27] Good strategy, moving things around.
[13:31] And you haven't let go of the Sydney property just yet?
[13:34] Not yet.
[13:34] So you've rented that one out?
[13:36] I've rented it out because I've sort of given myself a year in the Gold Coast to see how I go.
[13:42] Yeah.
[13:44] And then I'll make a decision about what I do at a Sydney property.
[13:48] Yes.
[13:49] Yes.
[13:49] So that's also emotional attachment.
[13:53] Okay.
[13:55] I lived there for 24 years.
[13:56] Mm-hmm.
[13:57] So it's very emotional.
[14:00] That's our role, to take the emotion.
[14:02] Yeah.
[14:02] I know G. Will said take the emotion out of it, but it's hard.
[14:06] It's hard.
[14:07] But anyway, we'll see how we go in a year.
[14:09] You're only in here for a week, so.
[14:11] Exactly.
[14:14] It's not that long.
[14:15] Yeah, it's only been... We'll see how you're going.
[14:18] Yeah, yeah.
[14:19] It's lovely.
[14:20] And I've got friends staying with me at the moment, so...
[14:23] Yes, okay.
[14:24] You know, so it's been really nice.
[14:25] It's been very sociable with a bit of work, you know, unpacking and sort of thing.
[14:29] So it's been really nice.
[14:31] So, yeah.
[14:32] So it's only been a week, but it's lovely.
[14:36] I mean, where Eve is, it's beautiful, you know.
[14:39] The view is beautiful, and I love the walks, and got a bike, and...
[14:44] So all the things I like doing, I can do here, because Olympic Park had the same facilities, lots of bike parts and walking tracks and stuff like that, so it's quite good.
[14:56] Lifestyle.
[14:56] Yeah, and also near the water, so it's good.
[15:00] Now, tell me, I remember our first conversation, and what was your main driver at the start when you came?
[15:11] Just actually to get my sister to get something.
[15:14] Yes.
[15:15] Yeah, so I wanted her to find something.
[15:18] And I think I remember you saying to me when we came to the REM in June 21, because G has been saying to her, get your home first.
[15:29] Yep.
[15:29] And then Trevor said, we've got something for Selena.
[15:31] I said, no, G said to buy her own home first.
[15:35] And she said, no, no, we've got a plan for her.
[15:37] And she got one in Eve.
[15:39] She did.
[15:39] She did.
[15:40] So she's very happy with that, you know, because it's done well.
[15:45] It would have done...
[15:46] Fastly period, because I know at that same time she was looking at... And she actually made an offer on a property in Sydney.
[15:51] That's right, she did.
[15:52] And then for whatever reason it didn't pan out.
[15:54] And then literally two weeks later we had this property at the eve.
[15:59] And that same property in Sydney might have had a little bit of growth, but...
[16:03] It would not have grown to the level...
[16:06] That Eve has grown.
[16:08] So literally for your sister who has come on board and she wasn't anywhere near where you were economically and financially secure, she's now in a position where she can go into retirement and actually have a place to call home.
[16:24] Correct, yes, definitely.
[16:26] Which is amazing.
[16:28] She's really very happy and very grateful, I think, to...
[16:32] be able to have purchased Eve.
[16:36] Eve's done so well, I think.
[16:38] It's just incredible.
[16:40] It's unusual, I guess, but fantastic.
[16:45] Yeah.
[16:45] We just need to convince her to retire as well.
[16:49] Move.
[16:49] And then you've got no excuse to go back to Sydney, right?
[16:51] That's right, that's right.
[16:53] Because most of the family is in Sydney, so it's a bit, yeah.
[16:57] But anyway, I've got family here, right?
[17:00] Yes.
[17:01] That's right, yes.
[17:03] So, yeah, no, it's been quite a journey because I suppose for me, I sort of, when I first joined, it was more about restructuring because I had bits and pieces.
[17:16] That's why when Lou spoke to me, he said, why have you got this, you know, still?
[17:20] Because I had loans, but I had funds in the,
[17:24] offset and didn't pay it off because I was worried.
[17:27] Because if you pay it off, you can't borrow.
[17:30] If I wanted to do anything, I don't know if I was going to do anything.
[17:33] But I just sort of thought, you know, I'll hold on.
[17:36] And he said, no, close that off, close that off, do that.
[17:39] It's okay.
[17:40] So I did all that, you know.
[17:42] And then...
[17:43] When you say, you know, to buy an investment property, I think who's going to lend a retiree money to buy investment properties because it's not... That's a good point.
[17:53] Now, do you mind sharing how young you are?
[17:56] Now?
[17:57] Oh, dear.
[17:58] Do I have to share that?
[18:01] How old are you?
[18:03] 69.
[18:03] 69.
[18:05] And the last two loans that we got approved for you?
[18:09] How many years are they going to take you to?
[18:11] 30.
[18:12] It's supposed to be 30.
[18:15] So it'll take you to 99.
[18:17] That's right.
[18:21] Yeah, so, yeah, so, you know, they loan the money.
[18:25] So, you know, anyone out there who's sort of thinking of going in when they're older, I think, you know, just jump straight in.
[18:33] Because I think having the team,
[18:35] Having people to look after you and someone to call on, that's what's missing in most places.
[18:45] Because I've done different things because I've always wanted to be financially secure, to be able to do what I want to do when I retire.
[18:53] So I've lost out in a few places, lost money.
[18:59] But those people were never there.
[19:03] This team is different.
[19:05] Because any time I have a question or think something's not going right, I call someone at infinity and I get the answer, someone to help or someone to resolve it.
[19:21] I think that's the difference, I think, with infinity.
[19:25] Because a lot of people you do join...
[19:29] They do make a lot of promises, but it never eventuates because you call them, they don't know you, they don't know where you're at, and they'll say, oh, we'll talk to you again, come and meet us, and then you meet them, and then you go back, and they don't know you again.
[19:48] So I think it's having a team behind you and a strategy to help to sort of progress.
[19:59] And what would you say was your goal when you came on board?
[20:04] I do recall having this conversation with you initially.
[20:08] I actually didn't have a goal of buying...
[20:11] a lot of properties, you know.
[20:15] I think it was more restructure, and then when the properties came on board, you sort of got very excited.
[20:23] You know, like you sort of thought, I can't do this, yeah.
[20:26] So I don't know if I had...
[20:28] But I always wanted to make sure I was okay, you know.
[20:31] And when I retired, I, you know, I didn't want to, I suppose, live...
[20:40] frugal, but I wanted to be able to, if I wanted something, I wanted to have the funds to do it.
[20:46] So if I wanted to travel for four months, I wanted to have the funds to do it.
[20:51] And I do recall that the travel was where I was getting to.
[20:53] Yeah, that was my goal.
[20:55] My goal was to travel as much as I can.
[20:57] It was travel.
[20:58] And that was, I think, probably one of the big things that stood out for me was you said to me was, hey, I want to travel, but I'm getting a bit older, and it's getting hard to jump on a plane.
[21:10] And do you recall what I said to you at the time, what you deserved?
[21:15] Yeah, you said, make sure you go business.
[21:21] I'm always nervous.
[21:22] Really?
[21:24] Because, you know, when you've been, not struggling, I don't think I was struggling, but when you've been saving, you've been, you know, careful.
[21:34] With your funds.
[21:35] Your mindset has shifted.
[21:38] Yeah, mindset has shifted.
[21:41] But, you know, it's still there.
[21:43] It's not like it's completely gone because you're still careful.
[21:47] Because right now you're on a budget and you're still on a budget.
[21:49] Yeah, still on a budget.
[21:51] Very strict budget.
[21:51] Yeah, very strict budget.
[21:53] Do you mind sharing with everyone what your weekly budget is?
[21:56] 195.
[21:56] That's incredible.
[21:58] Weekly budget, yeah.
[21:59] Can I ask what your budget was when you began with Infinity as well?
[22:02] 195.
[22:03] And today it's 195.
[22:04] 195.
[22:04] For those listening at home?
[22:06] Yes, 195.
[22:06] Yeah.
[22:08] That's the budget.
[22:09] Is it?
[22:09] Yeah.
[22:10] It's a powerful message.
[22:11] And, yeah, it's...
[22:14] Sometimes it was hard.
[22:15] You know when the prices all went up in 2022?
[22:19] That was difficult.
[22:20] That was hard because, you know, everything had gone up.
[22:24] And, you know, what you had, you know, didn't sort of – you couldn't purchase all, you know, groceries.
[22:32] I mean, it's food, fuel, and fun.
[22:34] So it was not that easy in 2022 when the prices just went up.
[22:41] You know, the vegetables –
[22:43] Everything.
[22:44] Everything went up, so it was difficult.
[22:47] But I still sort of, you know, managed to sort of, you know, keep to the budget.
[22:53] Yeah, so, yeah.
[22:57] I'm not a big, big spender.
[22:59] I'm careful, you know, but if I want to get something, I will get it.
[23:04] I suppose having the funds to do it.
[23:09] I know you went on a big trip last year.
[23:11] Yes, four months.
[23:13] Four months?
[23:14] Four months, yes.
[23:15] I went to Africa for three, four weeks, four weeks.
[23:22] And then after that, I went back to Malaysia and Singapore for a few weeks.
[23:27] Then I flew to Europe, and then I travelled to Australia.
[23:32] Italy, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Belgium, Amsterdam, Spain, Portugal.
[23:40] Yeah.
[23:40] So did a trip around there and then went back to Malaysia and spent Christmas and New Year with the family and came back in January, mid-January.
[23:48] And were you slumming it in economy?
[23:50] Eh?
[23:50] Were you slumming it in economy?
[23:52] No, no, I went, oh, I went first class.
[23:54] First class.
[23:55] For one of the, one of the flights I did of first class.
[24:02] Fantastic.
[24:03] And came back business.
[24:05] So, yeah.
[24:06] So it's nice.
[24:08] Yeah.
[24:09] It's nice to spoil yourself, you know.
[24:11] It's nice to reward yourself.
[24:12] It's nice to reward yourself.
[24:13] Yeah, you're on the hard yards, rather.
[24:14] You're most digging into your budget.
[24:15] You're very dedicated with that.
[24:17] Yeah.
[24:18] And I think that's a real testament to that.
[24:23] Yeah, yeah.
[24:24] You can do the things you want to do.
[24:26] You can go and enjoy your travel, but, you know, you can spend a little bit extra.
[24:30] Yeah.
[24:30] You can use some comfort, and it's going to make it a much more enjoyable process.
[24:37] Yeah.
[24:37] No, it's good.
[24:38] I think for a lot of the young people who are coming on board, you know, they're going to be killing it, I think.
[24:45] You know, because they, I mean, like Oscar.
[24:49] He's going to be killing it, I think.
[24:51] But a lot of other people who are doing the hard yarn, I think they would have an amazing life, you know, because they're putting the hard yarn.
[25:01] work now to reap the rewards later.
[25:04] So it'll be fantastic.
[25:05] Delayed gratification.
[25:06] It's a powerful message.
[25:07] Yeah, yeah.
[25:07] Yeah, delayed gratification is where it's all at, right?
[25:10] Yeah.
[25:11] You would agree to that yourself.
[25:12] Definitely, definitely.
[25:13] You can't go tep-tep-tepperoo.
[25:16] No.
[25:16] Live in a zoo.
[25:17] Live in the zoo.
[25:18] Correct.
[25:19] Yeah.
[25:20] So, you know, yeah.
[25:22] So delayed gratification is, I think, is good.
[25:26] Because some people say to you,
[25:28] You're not living.
[25:30] You're not spending now, but you are living.
[25:32] I mean, what is living?
[25:34] It's living, if you enjoy your life as it is, that's living.
[25:39] You don't have to, I don't know, do whatever some people do, but a lot of us, I think, in the infinity family put in the hard yarn, I think, and stick to your budget and you follow the strategies
[25:56] And you reap the rewards.
[25:58] Proof's there.
[25:59] And then you can still have a four-month holiday.
[26:01] Four-month holiday.
[26:03] And not have any regrets.
[26:04] No.
[26:04] Or any credit card debt.
[26:05] No, not at all.
[26:07] Yeah, so you just pay for it.
[26:09] And, you know, when you need it, you use it.
[26:12] And then you come back and get to the grind again.
[26:16] And just do what you have to do.
[26:18] It's quite incredible.
[26:19] So I suppose that's my journey.
[26:22] But I think there's a lot of people who have had amazing journeys.
[26:27] And that's due to infinity, I think.
[26:30] So that's my sort of, I suppose, I'm thankful that something G said.
[26:37] And I hear a lot of people saying that when they listen to him, there's something he says that suddenly sort of clicks, I think, and you sort of,
[26:48] you know, this is what I'll join, you know.
[26:51] And I know a lot of people have said they've gone straight away to sign up, you know, with G, you know.
[26:57] And I sort of thought, yeah, that's what happened to me as well.
[27:01] You know, I just heard him and thought, something in it, you know.
[27:06] Maybe he can help me to restructure and do all the things.
[27:10] And it's been better than what I thought it would be.
[27:13] So, fantastic.
[27:17] Yeah, just amazing.
[27:18] Would you have thought that you could have been where you are today, Daya, thinking back to where you were in the Masterclass?
[27:23] Not really.
[27:23] No.
[27:24] To where you are today?
[27:25] No, no.
[27:26] I mean, no, I wouldn't be.
[27:29] I mean, I would be, you know, I did save towards my retirement, so, you know, that was there, but not what I have now with infinity behind.
[27:42] Yeah, what I've built, yeah, so, yeah.
[27:45] So that's the journey.
[27:48] Very good.
[27:48] I appreciate you coming in, Diya.
[27:50] It's been an amazing journey and I'm glad that you did decide to finally come on board with your sister, Selina.
[27:56] And it's been an absolute pleasure to watch over the last five years just how far you've come and what you've been able to achieve as a phenomenon.
[28:05] No, I've been very thankful.
[28:06] I'm giving inspiration to a lot of others out there as well.
[28:09] Maybe those that are in essence, that, hey, I've already passed where I need to be.
[28:17] You know, you're a real testament to what we do.
[28:21] and how you've been able to execute and change your life.
[28:24] You've come from Sydney where you said you'll never move and now look at us today, we're on the sunny Gold Coast.
[28:30] Sunny Gold Coast, yes.
[28:33] It's a beautiful winter's day.
[28:36] If it stays this way, it'll be good.
[28:40] Your life has completely changed.
[28:42] I'm glad that you've still been with us for these past five plus years.
[28:48] No, it's been fantastic.
[28:49] I think the team, GE, Bank, I think it's been an incredible journey.
[28:55] But you have to have a team behind you, you know, and you have to have somewhere to go and ask the questions.
[29:00] Because you have lots of questions.
[29:02] I mean, I've been here five years, but let's have something that is quite, you know, it's not right, and you sort of ring somebody to sort of help, and they're always there to help.
[29:14] I mean, it's been just fantastic.
[29:17] I mean, I can't praise you guys enough.
[29:19] You know, you've been fantastic helping.
[29:22] And I think another thing is...
[29:25] You know, when you call, you just pick up the phone, or if you can't, you just say, I'll call you back, and you call back.
[29:33] You know, so that is wonderful.
[29:36] You know, for me, it just shows customer service.
[29:40] You know, the service is incredible.
[29:43] and you guys in the line of service, and you provide it beautifully.
[29:47] So thank you.
[29:48] You're welcome.
[29:49] Thank you.
[29:49] Thank you.
[29:50] You should be very proud.
[29:52] Yeah, we just want to thank you from the bottom of our heart, Steyer.
[29:55] I mean, you've come an extremely long way, and you've trusted the guidance and the advice.
[30:00] Yes.
[30:01] It hasn't been easy.
[30:02] There's obviously been a lot of emotional decisions that you've made along the way, and you've trusted us, and you've done the work, and the rewards are here as well.
[30:10] Yeah, the rewards are here.
[30:12] It's great to see Dyer and thank you for coming in today.
[30:15] Thank you.
[30:16] Thank you, Travis.
[30:17] Thank you, Glenn.
[30:18] And thank you, G and back.
[30:21] It's been great.
[30:22] Great team.
[30:23] Fantastic.
[30:24] Thanks, guys.
