[0:00] \[SPEAKER_04\]: Hi everyone, I'm Vincent Joe.
[0:01] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Hi, I'm Kathy Reed.
[0:03] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And I'm Allison Reed.
[0:05] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Hi, I'm Ashley.
[0:06] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Hi, I'm Grace.
[0:07] \[SPEAKER_02\]: We're from the Hidden House.
[0:08] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I am Martin Rettie.
[0:10] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Hi, I'm Tutsi.
[0:10] \[SPEAKER_05\]: We're going to get out of here.
[0:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, Philippe Amrazini.
[0:13] \[SPEAKER_05\]: We're going to get out of here.
[0:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This weekend's Katie.
[0:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Welcome to this week in Skating, the weekly podcast bringing you the latest news from the world of figure skating.
[0:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Here are your hosts, Daphne, Gina, and Matteo.
[0:36] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And we're back.
[0:37] \[SPEAKER_02\]: We are going to be recapping the Grand Prix de France.
[0:41] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I can't believe we're in the Grand Prix.
[0:44] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It feels still like just last week, we're in the Junior Grand Prix, and that's because we were.
[0:49] \[SPEAKER_02\]: But now we're talking about Grand Prix de France.
[0:53] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I will still admit that I call it just about everything else except.
[0:58] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Grand Prix de France, I have called it, Eric Bonpire, Trophila Leak, all the things.
[1:05] \[SPEAKER_02\]: When I'm making notes about the competition, I can't help it.
[1:09] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I realize now I've been watching skating way too long for it to have gone through so many changes.
[1:16] \[SPEAKER_02\]: For this episode, we have a special guest.
[1:19] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Gina and Mateo and I are joined by Selen, Matthew.
[1:24] \[SPEAKER_02\]: She is a reporter for our Skate Info class and Patnaj magazine.
[1:29] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And she also attended Grand Prix de France.
[1:34] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And we're really excited to have her on this episode.
[1:38] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Welcome Selen.
[1:39] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Selen.
[1:40] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Thank you.
[1:41] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Thank you, everyone.
[1:42] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It was a great weekend.
[1:43] \[SPEAKER_05\]: What a surprise is.
[1:46] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Yeah, I think that sums it up nicely.
[1:49] \[SPEAKER_02\]: We don't have to talk anymore.
[1:53] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I don't know what that is.
[1:54] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I mean, there were some expected results.
[1:58] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Not everything was a surprise.
[1:59] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I mean, the men's event, I knew right away who the winner was going to be in that event.
[2:05] \[SPEAKER_03\]: But, yeah, there surprises across a couple different disciplines for sure.
[2:12] \[SPEAKER_02\]: definitely.
[2:13] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Now we'll remind our listeners that this Grand Prix series looks a little bit different this year because the events are not in the usual order that were accustomed to.
[2:24] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They've been switched all around.
[2:26] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Normally it would have been Skate America followed by Skate Canada and on and on.
[2:31] \[SPEAKER_02\]: This year it's all flipped around and we're starting in France for our first Grand Prix.
[2:40] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Now usually, we will kick off and start talking about either the men's event or the women's event, but for this episode, we're going to flip it, much like the Grand Prix, and we're going to talk about the Ice Dance competition.
[2:58] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So just quickly going over the results and a few
[3:05] \[SPEAKER_02\]: The results of the Ice Dance competition stirred up quite a bit of passion amongst the fans on message boards and social media.
[3:14] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I was reading lots of different thoughts.
[3:19] \[SPEAKER_02\]: There were, I think summer on the same wavelength, it was just, people were a little bit bugged by something, it's definitely, and I have to say that in our friend group,
[3:36] \[SPEAKER_02\]: We didn't all agree on things.
[3:38] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah, I mean, usually Anna and I chat after an event and we did that last night and we didn't agree on things.
[3:50] \[SPEAKER_03\]: She was very much enjoyed one team that I was like, well, no, I didn't agree, but again, I think we all thought,
[4:05] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I don't know, I think we just, usually sometimes we're always agreeing on things in this time around it wasn't always the case, and I will say too with the Ice Dance event.
[4:17] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I watched the rhythm dance, not live, because I had a thing all day Saturday, but Sunday I did wake up at 5.30 in the morning and watched the dance event from my bed.
[4:33] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I may need to go back and watch things again, like you did definitely, I know you mentioned you watched it twice, because I may have missed some things, going back and reading things over and seeing what people have posted online, I may need to actually go back and watch some things because maybe my thoughts on the competition are a little different than what other people are saying and even what Anne had said.
[5:00] \[SPEAKER_03\]: So maybe it's I need to see it again.
[5:04] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Well, I think we all have our preferences and what I will point out is this is a really crazy Olympic year for ice dance because we've got a returning team with the shippetani is we also have our raining Olympic champion coming back with a very well seasoned new partner and seemingly setting
[5:31] \[SPEAKER_02\]: the world on fire at this competition.
[5:33] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So let's let me go through things just a little bit.
[5:38] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So Francis Leron's Furnier Bodryk Yoms is around one of the gold.
[5:44] \[SPEAKER_02\]: This is their international debut.
[5:46] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They were supposed to debut earlier in the season, but went back to the drawing board
[6:00] \[SPEAKER_02\]: which I thought suited them, but I kind of would like to have seen that edgy or depression mode just also because I like depression mode, so I'm interested in what they would come up with.
[6:11] \[SPEAKER_02\]: In Silver Metal, we had Lyla Fear and Lewis Gibson of Great Britain.
[6:15] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Now, they are our reigning world bronze medalists.
[6:19] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They had a six point three eight lead after the rhythm dance.
[6:24] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Usually that's it's like if you're that far ahead no one's going to catch you Especially a nice dance, but that was not the case in on share In Braun's mental position, Allison Reed and Solius and Brulavicius of Lithuania Who were second in the rhythm dance?
[6:43] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I have to point out that of all the teams that are doing I'm too sexy.
[6:47] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I like theirs the best
[6:50] \[SPEAKER_02\]: The music is really familiar to me, so it's, yeah, it's just, it's been fun.
[6:56] \[SPEAKER_02\]: This is the big surprise or the shocker.
[6:59] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabri of Italy.
[7:02] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Three time European champions.
[7:05] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Two time and defending Grand Prix final silver medalists.
[7:09] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And a team that has metled at Grand Prix for at least the last six seasons.
[7:20] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I wasn't prepared for that at all.
[7:24] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And there's more that we'll talk about.
[7:26] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I mean, this is a team that usually easily scores over 205 points and they didn't hear.
[7:32] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It was a shock.
[7:37] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I think it was obvious that they were shocked sitting in the kitchen cry.
[7:41] \[SPEAKER_02\]: This was not expected by them.
[7:49] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I mean, it was the first Grand Prix, but I feel like there's so much more to talk about.
[7:55] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Selen was actually there, so we'd love to get your impressions.
[8:02] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I'm sure, so, yes, everybody was shocked about Chinese marcos growing so low.
[8:09] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I don't have an explanation.
[8:11] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Um, something that I've heard is that they should have gone to Lombardia.
[8:18] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Uh, they would have gotten feedback there, but still, still, these calls.
[8:24] \[SPEAKER_05\]: don't make any sense.
[8:27] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So yes, that was a bit of a shock for everyone.
[8:29] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Regarding the handsome geome because of the mistake in the ribbon dance, the place was not surprising and then the freedoms was really good.
[8:44] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Honestly, it was really good, so I know if it was 133 good, but it was really good.
[8:53] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Yeah, I have to say what surprised me about Charlene and Marco scores is their skating skills scores were low, which to me is something that has always been a strength for them.
[9:06] \[SPEAKER_02\]: That was very surprising.
[9:13] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I know that sometimes fans have either said, well, I don't really like their programs all right.
[9:20] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I like their programs this year, but you can't deny that they're good skaters, like they're really good.
[9:25] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And so this was a surprise that that part of it, and I wondered too, should they have gone to a challenger?
[9:34] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They've always done a challenger, always at Lombardia, when we talked about Lombardia
[9:45] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It just seems so bizarre to not be mentioning their names other than to say, well for the first time and forever they're not there.
[9:52] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah, and I don't know, um, I mean, I thought the free dance for them was, um, you know, great.
[10:01] \[SPEAKER_03\]: It was totally them, the rhythm dance theme for Sharlene and Marco, I don't know if it suits them.
[10:09] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And I, and I've seen some comments about that it's harder for these,
[10:15] \[SPEAKER_03\]: mature and older teams to pull off the 90s theme and I you know I didn't really get their back street boys I just it kind of came off as a little
[10:28] \[SPEAKER_03\]: how to say it, but it was just kind of a little cheesy to me looking at them because you see them as mature and older and it kind of was like, it looked like an exhibition program, a program you would see in an exhibition.
[10:43] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And so when I first saw the rhythm dance results and saw that they were in fifth, this was before I had seen
[10:51] \[SPEAKER_03\]: saw the actual competition.
[10:53] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I was like, there had to be a mistake.
[10:56] \[SPEAKER_03\]: But then when I went back to watch it, there wasn't a mistake to me.
[11:01] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Other than, I just didn't get the program just wasn't their best.
[11:05] \[SPEAKER_03\]: In my opinion, I just didn't think it suited them well.
[11:11] \[SPEAKER_03\]: You know, I much prefer their free dance, which I thought was skated very well and didn't get the marks it deserved.
[11:20] \[SPEAKER_03\]: but that was me and then I also was trying to tell Anne to at 530 in the morning watching it some of the programs seemed very similar and so when Lila and Lewis came out with more of an upbeat program it like my attention was there
[11:41] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Um, and, mate, again, watching it at 5.30 in the morning if I watched it, it may be 10.11 after noon.
[11:50] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Evening my thoughts might have been totally different, because I would have been fully awake.
[11:55] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Um, but.
[11:57] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Lila and Lewis to me just that program grabbed me deafening I agree with you You haven't said it yet, but I'm seeing it in our notes that I liked the blue costumes compared to the red costumes And Anne actually said those costumes were distracting to her the red ones so she that kind of put in to play But I mean I thought Lila and Lewis skated well
[12:23] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Laurence and Gionne definitely skated well too, but I don't know about 133.02 in their first Grand Prix as a team and just in the first Grand Prix event in general.
[12:39] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I mean, that's talking a world championship score.
[12:43] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I think Laurence and Gionne look very good together.
[12:47] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It isn't
[12:50] \[SPEAKER_02\]: something you can compare to his previous partnership.
[12:55] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It's a new partnership.
[12:56] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They have a different vibe.
[12:58] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They have a different flow.
[12:59] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It's not the same.
[13:01] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And I've seen some people comparing them online, and okay, I get that you want to, but it's a very different partnership with Lawrence.
[13:12] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And I think they're free dance, it's beautiful.
[13:17] \[SPEAKER_02\]: they skated it pretty well.
[13:20] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I think there's still more that they can get from it.
[13:23] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I thought the score was a bit high, honestly.
[13:27] \[SPEAKER_02\]: That's what I took from it.
[13:29] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I didn't have issue with them winning the free dance at all.
[13:34] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I took issue with the score because we're looking at a score that's
[13:46] \[SPEAKER_02\]: back in March, which is at the end of a season.
[13:50] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And so scoring so high at this point doesn't leave a lot of room to grow.
[13:58] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And yeah, again, I watched the programs multiple times.
[14:03] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And I think the score was a bit high.
[14:08] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And I get it.
[14:08] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I've read people saying, well, it was in France.
[14:12] \[SPEAKER_02\]: He's the Olympic champion.
[14:13] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Like I've heard all of these different thoughts and reasonings behind it for whatever reason.
[14:21] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Again, I think they were the free dance winners.
[14:27] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I just would not have put that score so high.
[14:31] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I don't think that they're there yet.
[14:34] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And that's just my opinion.
[14:37] \[SPEAKER_02\]: give them another few months.
[14:40] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Maybe they'll score that.
[14:42] \[SPEAKER_02\]: This is just sending kind of this message of this is a team that we're going to push for the Olympics.
[14:50] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Like this is potentially Olympic champion team.
[14:57] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And I don't think we're there yet.
[15:00] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I mean we still haven't seen the top
[15:06] \[SPEAKER_02\]: this score just sent that message to me that take it seriously because this team is going to be on the podium and at the very least they're going to be on the podium.
[15:15] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And what messages that sent to the other teams, I mean, I feel like a lot of messages were sent here.
[15:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Talking about the Olympic Games, so my right, if you talk to them at the masters first, and you actually touched on cities and ships for the ones that didn't hear it.
[15:32] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Yeah, I mean, every time we see them, we ask them about citizenship.
[15:35] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So they don't have any news at the moment.
[15:39] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So the whole doesn't have a French passport.
[15:44] \[SPEAKER_05\]: We ask them again, let's weekend, they don't have any news.
[15:50] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Which might be interesting.
[15:52] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I don't know, is that the French new ministry of sport was in Zerina.
[15:57] \[SPEAKER_05\]: She went to see them, took a picture with them.
[16:02] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I don't know if it means anything.
[16:04] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I'm just sharing information here.
[16:08] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Yeah, what I liked in Arge is that the rhythm dance, so they changed the music with mentioned that.
[16:15] \[SPEAKER_05\]: And now it looks less similar to the 2022 rhythm dance with Capriela.
[16:22] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So that's good.
[16:23] \[SPEAKER_05\]: They did not mention that.
[16:26] \[SPEAKER_05\]: They only spoke about the music, but I think it's for a better.
[16:31] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So yeah, it's a good thing.
[16:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Can I ask you because I wasn't Italy actually so I couldn't be there in France, which would normally be the case, I'll be there with you.
[16:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's a shame, but you were there, and knowing you, I think you would have watched them to then go and see them in a mix zone.
[16:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So, what was the atmosphere in the arena?
[16:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Particularly during the Redum dance when the weather first seemed to calm out and skate because from home, it didn't feel light ahead of huge reception.
[16:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I was quite curious to know whether it was just, you know, maybe the stars of the live show and you couldn't guess the real fitting out there in the arena.
[17:07] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Well, no, they had a huge shock from the crowd.
[17:10] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I'm glad to see you.
[17:15] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Yeah, you know, I mean, everybody was very happy to see them.
[17:19] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Um, I mean, geom is, um, it's somebody that everybody likes.
[17:24] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So, human neurons, everybody wants to see them.
[17:27] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So, yeah, you would support.
[17:30] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I don't know if it was the best idea that Nikolai Sonsen came to the arena.
[17:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know.
[17:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, we, I think we saw that there were a couple of messages of supporters to,
[17:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The other size of that story in Djerina.
[17:48] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Yeah, definitely.
[17:49] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Definitely science.
[17:52] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I saw lots of, I saw a bunch of photos online and then people mentioning it.
[17:59] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Also, we just heard that Ghibliela's book will be published in January.
[18:06] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So just one month before the Olympics.
[18:10] \[SPEAKER_05\]: be ready.
[18:12] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I told Matteo that even if it only comes out in French that I'm gonna buy it anyway.
[18:18] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And I may just have the translation.
[18:21] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah, I told Matteo.
[18:25] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I took multiple years of French.
[18:27] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I have not used hardly any of it except for when I go to Montreal from time to time.
[18:34] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It makes me want to get back into it because I want I really want to know like I want to hear what
[18:40] \[SPEAKER_02\]: she has to say in this book.
[18:42] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I hope that she's unguarded.
[18:45] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I hope that she is who she is because I think her personality has always been or at least especially in the last two years has been very open about her experiences and I am looking forward to hearing what she has to say.
[19:09] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And she did pose something on Instagram.
[19:13] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Yes, today.
[19:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Right, she'll read it out.
[19:16] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Yeah.
[19:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So Gabriela post his days, these weekend I read in several articles that I stop competing to focus on shows.
[19:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's not what happened.
[19:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I stopped because the environment I was in had become deeply unhealthy.
[19:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I was exhausted, physically and mentally, and I had to leave to protect myself.
[19:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I didn't have a choice.
[19:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was only afterwards that I felt the desire to do shows, to skate with a warmman, and to give visibility to the movement of same-sex couples in figure skating.
[19:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's important for me to say it is because reducing that decision to simply simple change of direction completely evases what I went through and the way this experience had in my life.
[19:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Today I'm happy, I'm slowly revealed in my life and I want to keep working to make the culture of competitive, competitive skating, healthier for the next generations.
[20:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But as a part of me that didn't choose this ending, that will always carry it's weight and I don't want to raise it.
[20:13] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I appreciated her on a stay about it.
[20:16] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I really did.
[20:18] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I think there are a lot of facets to this whole thing and it's polarizing because we're talking about our raining Olympic champions.
[20:29] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Like she is the other half of the raining Olympic champion team.
[20:35] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And I mean, you can't not focus on it in this season.
[20:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So it's interesting that her book is going to come out in January just before the Olympics.
[20:52] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Yes.
[20:54] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Yes.
[20:54] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Many, many journalists, I mean, French journalists may be, maybe, many Japanese journalists sorry.
[21:02] \[SPEAKER_05\]: We'll talk about that.
[21:03] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So yeah, a lot of people, they have never given that many accreditation for the press in this event.
[21:13] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So Allison Reed and Solius Ambralee Vesias of Lithuania, I know three of us were
[21:20] \[SPEAKER_02\]: in Boston when they competed at Worlds and did not make the free dance, which was just a shock.
[21:30] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They seem to be on the upwards mobility trail now.
[21:35] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They won the Olympic qualifier, and then a bronze medal here, which continues their kind of streak.
[21:42] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They have going up bronze medals at the Grand Prix series because they won two bronze
[21:49] \[SPEAKER_02\]: We're alternates to the gray and pre-final.
[21:53] \[SPEAKER_02\]: That's another part of how this is all going to be affected is.
[21:58] \[SPEAKER_02\]: The gray and pre-final may look different than what we have seen in the past.
[22:03] \[SPEAKER_02\]: At least a little bit, based on results from this competition.
[22:09] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I, I know I said earlier, I really like their rhythm dance a lot.
[22:14] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They have free dance.
[22:15] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I know is not everyone's cup of tea just because that type of music is not, um, you either like it or you don't, I happen to like it.
[22:25] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So I'm, I'm into it, but I know that not everyone does.
[22:29] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah, I didn't, I didn't do anything for me.
[22:33] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I had a hard time with their free dance.
[22:36] \[SPEAKER_03\]: So it's maybe one of those programs that I need to see again before I can really judge it.
[22:42] \[SPEAKER_03\]: But at first, first time watching it on early Sunday morning, it didn't do anything for me.
[22:49] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And so I was kind of maybe a little surprised that it was,
[22:54] \[SPEAKER_03\]: You know, scored as high as it was and I would have maybe put in, you know, certainly in Marco and maybe had Allison and Saul fourth.
[23:07] \[SPEAKER_03\]: But again, you know, I don't know, I really don't know with these results and how it went.
[23:14] \[SPEAKER_05\]: And they told us that they are very, very, because they had to be ready for Beijing.
[23:20] \[SPEAKER_05\]: They have never been ready this soon.
[23:24] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So they are feeling great.
[23:27] \[SPEAKER_05\]: And yeah, they were ready for Beijing.
[23:29] \[SPEAKER_05\]: They're ready for Hong Jie.
[23:31] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It worked.
[23:31] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah, they definitely did look ready, regardless of what I thought of the program.
[23:36] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So, Selen, before we move on to the man, where there are any other ice dance performances that stood out to you, that you enjoyed that maybe people should check out if they have an opportunity to watch a video replay.
[23:52] \[SPEAKER_02\]: What I'm French, so, but
[23:54] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Still, I think that Selina Fradji and Jansfono have a very good Fidens.
[24:01] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I really enjoy the Fidens.
[24:05] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It was good, so of course they're very young, but still, I think it's what's the watching.
[24:13] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It's always hard when they come into their first senior.
[24:16] \[SPEAKER_02\]: A team comes into their first, or a skater at all, comes in their first senior season and it's Olympic year.
[24:22] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So everything's already amplified and a little bit crazy, and so it's always hard to break in.
[24:28] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I really enjoyed what they did at the junior ranks.
[24:32] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And I'm excited to see them develop on the senior ranks now.
[24:35] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I really liked their freedoms as well.
[24:38] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I thought it was
[24:40] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It was just interesting.
[24:42] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They were a lot of parts to focus in on.
[24:47] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I just really enjoyed it a lot.
[24:50] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I also really enjoyed Natasha Lagouge and Arnaud Kaffa's programs.
[24:58] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They always bring something different and fun to the ice when they skate.
[25:04] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I want to ask a question about what happened with Ava, Peyton Logan buys a free dance score there, and then they came out with the correction.
[25:12] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Maybe so on, you can explain what happened.
[25:16] \[SPEAKER_05\]: No, I'm sorry, I don't have the slightest idea.
[25:20] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I saw it online today, so I don't know.
[25:24] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I didn't get it, was it?
[25:26] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Just like the judge put in something wrong?
[25:28] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I mean, yeah, I feel so.
[25:30] \[SPEAKER_04\]: Seems like, yeah.
[25:32] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Okay, so yeah, yeah, it seems strange to me.
[25:34] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I don't know that I've ever seen that before.
[25:36] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I don't know if I've ever knew what that was that was put in for, yeah, was weird.
[25:43] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Like, are we going to see this more often?
[25:45] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And is it going to affect results?
[25:47] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Like, I don't know.
[25:49] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I guess we'll have to wait and say.
[25:50] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Yeah, one last thing that was cute.
[25:54] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So any bratty and Yens, some of the ways getting to look by Madonna in the revendance as well.
[26:01] \[SPEAKER_05\]: And when they went to the mix zone, I talked with the journalists, Ian was like, do you think I'm going to be compared to the Olympic champion?
[26:13] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Oh god, oh that's sweet yeah that's really sweet the costumes are different though they both went with like a different style of like Madonna the one had the black with the white and the other more of that pink kind of so it wasn't like they both were doing the same costume
[26:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Actually, I'm in the wrong and said anything about their costumes, because they had to turn things around very quickly.
[26:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So do you know what are they going to change them?
[26:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Are they going to stick with them?
[26:49] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Oh, I think they are going to stick with them.
[26:51] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Because the Laurent Scotsi is very Madonna.
[26:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, exactly.
[26:56] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Mix good.
[26:59] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So, let's move on to the men's event.
[27:02] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah, well.
[27:04] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I don't think there were really any surprises in the men's event.
[27:09] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I mean, Ilya wins the event by 40 points, but...
[27:18] \[SPEAKER_03\]: You know, again, typical Ilya.
[27:21] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I don't know if the score may have been a little high.
[27:26] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I mean, to win by 40 points this early, but maybe he's done this before.
[27:31] \[SPEAKER_02\]: You know what, Gina, let's talk about Adam being Adam and doing what Adam does.
[27:38] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Oh, when I put in the notes, I was gonna say that.
[27:40] \[SPEAKER_03\]: He does what Adam does.
[27:41] \[SPEAKER_03\]: He makes it come back in the free skate to get on the podium.
[27:44] \[SPEAKER_03\]: This is it.
[27:45] \[SPEAKER_02\]: He's done it.
[27:46] \[SPEAKER_02\]: We've witnessed it.
[27:47] \[SPEAKER_02\]: We were in Montreal.
[27:49] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And he did that.
[27:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You should actually go to competition with Solen and see how Solen feels when Adam died with us.
[27:58] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Well, it's so crazy.
[28:00] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Well, you know that he didn't have the best beginning of the season, Masters were not good.
[28:07] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Um, it was actually key said that the free skate at Masters was the world's program of his life.
[28:15] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Um, Lombardia was not good.
[28:16] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Uh, Nis was very good in the short, nothing free.
[28:20] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So we were a bit worried about it, uh, about Anger and then yeah.
[28:26] \[SPEAKER_05\]: What I believe, and I've never seen, and I don't believe in French, I've never seen I don't, so happy, really, because he's an introvert, so when he's happy, it's in the inside, we don't see it, and this time in Andre, he had such a lot of smile, it was amazing to see, it was so sweet, he was very much relieved.
[28:56] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I was actually editing some photos today, and Robinson some photos with his big head in the stands.
[29:10] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I like to those on the phone.
[29:12] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I thought they were cool.
[29:15] \[SPEAKER_05\]: They were super cool.
[29:16] \[SPEAKER_05\]: They had them for every French kid.
[29:20] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So I think I didn't ask her to, but I think he did not fully mind it because he's used to getting attention.
[29:29] \[SPEAKER_05\]: But Selina, Selina Fragilik, she freaked out.
[29:34] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I can see we're being on the ice and seeing that big face might freak you out of it because, yeah, they were huge, but I was a little like small one they were big, they were, they wish I would support you.
[29:52] \[SPEAKER_02\]: No, I think that they were probably part, probably the federation was involved with those, maybe, to make sure, I don't know, maybe.
[30:00] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I don't know, but the people all had matching shirts on, too, so I didn't get it.
[30:06] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Yeah, there was a lot of support.
[30:07] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I liked the big heads.
[30:09] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I thought they were a clever and cool.
[30:12] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It made me think of, and this isn't the same thing.
[30:16] \[SPEAKER_02\]: But during the pandemic, when we had the cardboard cut-out things in against the stands, that's what it made me think of.
[30:23] \[SPEAKER_02\]: But it was much bigger.
[30:25] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And I was just trying to figure out how big the machine must be to be able to
[30:31] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Create that because I've had posters done like three or four feet posters done on like a foam board before and That made sense, but these were like ten times the size of that it seemed like, but I thought they were I thought they were clever
[30:52] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It was very nice, it was lovely.
[30:55] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Really?
[30:56] \[SPEAKER_05\]: About Illya.
[30:57] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So he landed a quad-axial triple tool during practice.
[31:03] \[SPEAKER_05\]: That was nice.
[31:05] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Yep.
[31:06] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Wow.
[31:07] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I'm sure all videos online and you're in shape, but I'm sure they all.
[31:11] \[SPEAKER_05\]: We also so quad-loop during practice.
[31:16] \[SPEAKER_05\]: He didn't do it, he'd search during the free skate, but we saw it's a very nice one during practice.
[31:22] \[SPEAKER_05\]: He looked super strong.
[31:25] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah, there's nothing I feel like he can't do, but...
[31:30] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And I'm still, I like the free skate and I like the concept of it, but I don't know how much of the spoken, you know, I'm not, I'm not a huge fan of spoken words during a program, but I gotta see it again, it'll, I think I L, you know.
[31:47] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Again, I like the concept, so I think I will like the program I just need to see it a few more times.
[31:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I really like some of that he's creating around himself.
[31:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, that's what beaters are getting into the arena with his black ladder chuckers and these are just a style and him going around like, look at me.
[32:06] \[SPEAKER_02\]: He's kind of like generating this buzz.
[32:09] \[SPEAKER_02\]: That's very different than what we saw in the U.S. with Nathan Chen four years ago.
[32:15] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Nathan had a very different vibe from what Elie has.
[32:18] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Oh yeah.
[32:19] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So it was much more subdued.
[32:21] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Elie has more of like a rock star.
[32:24] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Look at me vibe.
[32:26] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Nathan was much more, I'm gonna do my job.
[32:29] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Here I am.
[32:29] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I'm a cool guy, but I'm not.
[32:33] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I'm not gonna.
[32:34] \[SPEAKER_02\]: be blowing up on social media with all of that um uh i do love his costume now i think it's it's interesting
[32:45] \[SPEAKER_05\]: about Adon, so his mom was in her renal course, and she was selling merch, kudis and t-shirts, so at the beginning, I was like, my first reaction was, oh, it's very cute that she's doing that, and I went to say hi, and she was like, yes, of course, it's very cute, but we need the money.
[33:09] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So in fact, they are struggling a bit financially.
[33:15] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I don't even do eye show this summer because he wanted to focus on the preparation for the Olympics.
[33:25] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So yeah, I think it was,
[33:28] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It was a bit surprising to me, but I've heard similar stories and I'm talking top skaters and sometimes we forget that they are not these people are not rich and that's a lot of them are struggling financially.
[33:50] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So anyway, if you can, if you want to buy much, I think it's a very good way to support the skaters that you enjoy watching.
[34:00] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Forget how costly the sport is.
[34:01] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It's crazy.
[34:03] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It's incredibly expensive and we have heard more recently of skaters who are struggling either due to lack of support through their federation or just
[34:19] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I mean, this is a Olympic level sport.
[34:21] \[SPEAKER_02\]: We're talking about Olympic level athletes.
[34:23] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It is, of course, going to cost more for them to trade than it does for a skater just starting out.
[34:33] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So I agree with you, Selen.
[34:35] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I think buying merch is a great way to support skaters.
[34:40] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Even if you can't go to the competitions, even if you are watching from home,
[34:48] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It's a great way to be able to support them.
[34:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, it's shocking when you understand how difficulties.
[34:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We know that some skaters are quite wealthy and it's good.
[34:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, there's nothing to judge in that side, but then there are some of them that you see there.
[35:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You know, I would have never guessed about Adam, not because he screams money, but just because I'm thinking he's once so much lately.
[35:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So surely must be okay.
[35:11] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Go by March from your favorite skater and help them continue to live their dream.
[35:16] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So who won the bronze medal, Gina?
[35:19] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Well, Nika Gatsy of Georgia was in second after the short program, but he dropped two-third and took the bronze medal.
[35:29] \[SPEAKER_03\]: He finishes his third consecutive event in a row, and this is first-grand-pre-metal.
[35:37] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And I was looking up, he has a break this week, no competition, but then he competes
[35:46] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Um, I, I thought his schedule was crazy, um, the fact that he was doing three events.
[35:52] \[SPEAKER_03\]: But he seems to be, it didn't like phase on me, didn't look tired.
[35:57] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Um, so.
[35:59] \[SPEAKER_05\]: But he told, but yes, sorry, he told us that it was a big mistake.
[36:06] \[SPEAKER_05\]: He was like, it was a big, big mistake.
[36:13] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I did not realize what I was doing.
[36:15] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I just was looking at the locations, I didn't look at the dates, and then I was like, what?
[36:22] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It was to date.
[36:25] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah, and then I thought, okay, he's got, you know, a later Grand Prix now, and I was like, oh no, he really just has like a week off, and then he skates again.
[36:35] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Um, but hey, so he has two programs by Benwari Shou, uh, and Nika was very happy to have to programs by Benwari Shou.
[36:46] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It was a dream for him, so good for him.
[36:50] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I think Benwari's choreography works really well for Nika.
[36:54] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Yeah.
[36:55] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Well, finishing in fourth place was Lucas Bristky of Switzerland who moved up from seventh after the short program.
[37:03] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And then there was a little of that jumping that kind of went on to, you know, our men menning, as we say.
[37:10] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Andrew Torgish have pulled up from 12th after the short program to sixth overall.
[37:16] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Definitely much better, free skate for him, compared to his short program.
[37:19] \[SPEAKER_03\]: But then we had the reverse, and I know definitely you were so excited for CalMira to be in third after the short program.
[37:28] \[SPEAKER_03\]: But then it was so hard to see him struggle in that free skate.
[37:34] \[SPEAKER_03\]: You just wanted to, I wanted to just pick him up and give him a big hug and say, It's okay, move up and we're going to, I wanted to give him an honorary like short program,
[37:49] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Um, because it was such a good short program, but uh, so hard.
[37:54] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I'd like to see the skaters come back after a disappointing short program in FreeScape, and I just hate it, hate it when it's the reverse.
[38:02] \[SPEAKER_03\]: They have a great short, and then they just have a horrible freeScape.
[38:06] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I'm so happy he went back to his wood gate shop program.
[38:10] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I love it, so it was very happy to see it.
[38:13] \[SPEAKER_05\]: And yeah, it was a great shop program.
[38:16] \[SPEAKER_05\]: The free skate, yeah, what's more to say?
[38:20] \[SPEAKER_05\]: The practice sessions were very bad, very messy, very dramatic forms lying on the ice.
[38:29] \[SPEAKER_05\]: But he was mining during practice sessions.
[38:35] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So, um, and then the short film was good, so I was like, oh, maybe it would be okay.
[38:41] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I mean, yeah, what was there anybody else in the men's event that you thought worth mentioning?
[38:48] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I was happy to had a very good friskate, which was very good for him, he was happy, but the first thing he told me was, you know what, if I had done that in Beijing, I would have qualified for the Olympics.
[39:08] \[SPEAKER_05\]: That's true.
[39:13] \[SPEAKER_05\]: That's still a very good result technology for him.
[39:16] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Alright, let's move on to shoot the women's results.
[39:21] \[SPEAKER_03\]: OK, so we had a Japanese sweep and some surprising results in the women's event with Aminaki taking home the gold in her Grand Prix debut.
[39:36] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Now, I thought her short program was phenomenal.
[39:41] \[SPEAKER_03\]: She got a 78 in the short program, a personal best
[39:44] \[SPEAKER_03\]: For reference though, Cowrie's personal best short program is 80.32 and that was from 2022 worlds and Alyssa Luce scored a 74.58 in her short program with the 2025 worlds.
[39:59] \[SPEAKER_03\]: So, I...
[40:00] \[SPEAKER_03\]: think this might have been just a little too high this early in the season for uh senior grand pre debut to but she was great I mean the triple axle um was really good in the short program free skate hand down um as I was telling Daphne I
[40:19] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I liked her free skate, but it came off, it's a wonderful world, it looked a little bit juniorish to me, skated it very well, but I don't know if I would have given her the gold, um, I don't know, um, Kauri Sakamoto took the silver, um, her time to say goodbye program,
[40:46] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I'm gonna ball my eyes out seeing that at the Olympics, which I will only see it at the Olympics if she skates it in the team event because I won't be there for the women's event.
[40:58] \[SPEAKER_03\]: But still, if I'm home here, I'll probably be balling my eyes out to that program.
[41:05] \[SPEAKER_03\]: she was second in the free skate.
[41:07] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I think that crowd loved that free skate given to what she was skating to in the free skate.
[41:15] \[SPEAKER_03\]: She had that higher PCS.
[41:19] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I thought she deserved to win just based on that program, but I'll open it up for you guys and your thoughts in a bit here.
[41:28] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And then the bronze to wrap out that Japanese sweep was Rihon Simioshi who moved up after fourth in the short program.
[41:37] \[SPEAKER_03\]: she did the same free skate she did last year she did go for the quad toe in the free skate but it was under rotated but it was a really good program and of course it helped her move up
[41:52] \[SPEAKER_03\]: to that bronze spot, but I'll throw it out there for your thoughts on the results, because I liked both of them, but I thought I would have flipped the results.
[42:05] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It's a tough one, because you have two triple axles, that's where I was super good, but
[42:19] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I don't know what to do.
[42:20] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I don't know what to take.
[42:22] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I think you have to look at high technical content versus maturity, presentation, solid skating.
[42:31] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And it's hard to balance out the way things are currently set up with our judging system because
[42:39] \[SPEAKER_03\]: the technical content you can't disagree with it was close it wasn't like it was triple axles a triple axel huge margin so we're not talking 40 points between the two of them but you know I'm just like I don't know but yeah so is a bow levito was fourth in the event she was third after the short and dropped to fourth struggled
[43:08] \[SPEAKER_03\]: triple triple combination.
[43:09] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Both programs, I think, for Isabel, suit her style this season on my like both programs.
[43:18] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I think she's at Skate Canada next, so she's going to need a metal spot to kind of qualify given we still haven't seen a lot of the top skaters, like we will see Amber Glenn in Alyssa Lou this week, but we also haven't seen Luna Hendrix coming back and other in the other in the mix as well.
[43:46] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So that was there.
[43:47] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Anyone out in the women's event that you want to point out the performance.
[43:50] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Oh, I know who she wants to point out.
[43:52] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And I didn't mention this one.
[43:53] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah, but go ahead.
[43:55] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I'll let you talk to her.
[43:56] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Oh, you're talking about Loreenshita.
[44:00] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Yes, she had a great skate.
[44:03] \[SPEAKER_05\]: She got a fifth place.
[44:04] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So that's amazing.
[44:05] \[SPEAKER_05\]: And what was very important for her is that she's facing the air.
[44:11] \[SPEAKER_05\]: in fourth competition.
[44:13] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So master's, a complete France, the grip and French nationals.
[44:18] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So it was very important for her to lace higher and she brought them to the very, very good free skate.
[44:25] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So that was amazing.
[44:26] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I think everybody else also was a little shocked, but G.A.
[44:30] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Shin of Korea.
[44:31] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I think people thought she would be higher up there, but, you know, disappointing short and some stakes in the free didn't have her in metal contention at all, and again,
[44:46] \[SPEAKER_03\]: She's coming up from juniors.
[44:50] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Sometimes it takes a while.
[44:52] \[SPEAKER_03\]: You're not gonna win a gold medal in your Grand Prix debut just coming up all the time.
[45:00] \[SPEAKER_03\]: So, you know, well, she's competing this week in Cup of China, so we'll see if, you know, maybe she will do better in that.
[45:10] \[SPEAKER_02\]: So let's talk about the pairs.
[45:11] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Again, a discipline where they were not surprises in the results.
[45:16] \[SPEAKER_03\]: No, and they didn't change between short program and free skate.
[45:19] \[SPEAKER_03\]: If you looked at the results, it was 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, short, and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, free skate.
[45:26] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And that was the overall nothing changed.
[45:30] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Yeah, of Riku Miran, Ryuichi Kihara, of Japan, our reigning world champions, one.
[45:37] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Tiana Sillaro Dudak and Maxime Deshaum of Canada, won the Silver Medal.
[45:43] \[SPEAKER_02\]: They singled a triple twist in the free skate, which is not something, I mean, that just seems, yeah, it's just not something you see from them.
[45:53] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And they had some mistakes inside my side jumps in the free skate.
[45:57] \[SPEAKER_02\]: During the program, the South cow was called a triple South cow, but the protocols had it downgraded.
[46:05] \[SPEAKER_02\]: We had to wait quite a bit for their scores, but they did do that assisted backflip in the short, and I know that DNA's really proud of that, like being able to put that in the program.
[46:16] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And Hagarians, Maria Pavlovak, and Alexei Svietchenko, won the bronze medal.
[46:23] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I feel like the team's had some challenges,
[46:27] \[SPEAKER_02\]: of the Japanese.
[46:29] \[SPEAKER_02\]: The other teams had some challenges in their performances.
[46:33] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I mean, we had a 22 point gap between first and second, including if she's showed program was amazing.
[46:40] \[SPEAKER_05\]: It's a masterpiece, really.
[46:42] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I'm very happy they kept it.
[46:43] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Well, they sent them pictures and it's, it's amazing.
[46:47] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Realizing that they were only seven at the Olympics in 2022 just seems crazy to me because
[46:55] \[SPEAKER_02\]: It feels like they've always been this good and this polished and this amazing to watch.
[47:03] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I'm really interested in seeing how the dance judging continues to evolve at the upcoming grand praise because we definitely saw some differences if you look to the protocols within the protocols for each team.
[47:19] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Skatingscores.com makes it easy to see some of those discrepancies if you go to that website.
[47:26] \[SPEAKER_03\]: And I saw as discrepancies too, not only in dance, but it was across in other some other disciplines where I was seeing high Skores from one judge to lower scores for another judge.
[47:39] \[SPEAKER_03\]: So I'd like to see how that hopefully changes a bit throughout the Grand Prix and not again, not just dance and all of it is.
[47:49] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Yeah.
[47:50] \[SPEAKER_02\]: consistency would be great.
[47:52] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Thank you so much selen for joining us and sharing your experience at the Grand Prix to France.
[48:00] \[SPEAKER_02\]: What's your next competition?
[48:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And Sinky.
[48:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes.
[48:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We can do it.
[48:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[48:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We have reunites.
[48:08] \[SPEAKER_02\]: And where can people read your boards?
[48:13] \[SPEAKER_02\]: I get off a glass.
[48:15] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Yeah, we'll definitely put a link to that in the show notes.
[48:18] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Thank you so much.
[48:20] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I wrote a lot about a game in the house.
[48:23] \[SPEAKER_05\]: People are interested about adults.
[48:26] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So yeah, go have a look.
