## Transcript

[0:02] A listener production.
[0:06] Well, Ham, this is our remembering project.
[0:08] Yep, where a random day of the year is selected and we look up the run sheets from all our shows from across the years to find any we did on that day.
[0:17] Over 20 years, that's about 2,500 shows and roughly 26,000 talk breaks.
[0:22] Today, we pick one.
[0:24] One talk break only and try to remember what happened based on what was written down on the run sheet from that day.
[0:29] As always, we've got podcast Mike Wurst here for any technical stuff.
[0:32] Hello.
[0:32] Mike, what date was randomly chosen today?
[0:35] It's the 25th of November.
[0:37] Okay, then.
[0:38] It's Hamish go.
[0:39] Let's kick this off and find out what years Hamish will take us back to and see if we remember anything from those years.
[0:47] This is Hamish and Andy's Remembering Project.
[0:53] Late in the year, so things heating up on several fronts depending on what year you're in.
[0:58] Yep.
[0:58] In 2010...
[1:00] This made me giggle a little bit.
[1:01] This is not what I want to play, but on the run sheet I noticed.
[1:04] One of the things we were doing during that week was playing bits from our new CD.
[1:09] Right.
[1:11] We were releasing a best bits of the radio show CD, Mike.
[1:15] I'm sure you would have bought one.
[1:17] We were remembering.
[1:18] I did them, actually.
[1:18] We were remembering things.
[1:19] We were remembering things.
[1:21] At the end of the year that happened during that year.
[1:24] Yes, and the previous couple of years, I think.
[1:26] Because it was our own mini, it was like the Remembering Project, but on CD.
[1:30] And for just $30, people could listen to almost a full hour of things that had been on the radio.
[1:37] It was amazing.
[1:38] I think we sold 120,000 CDs.
[1:39] It went platinum.
[1:40] Yeah.
[1:41] Yeah.
[1:42] And it was – Part proceeds for charity.
[1:44] I think we just got the end of people caring about CDs.
[1:50] We did.
[1:50] We did.
[1:50] Yeah.
[1:51] The same way Chris Lilley just got the end of DVDs for Summer Heights.
[1:54] Those were amazing sales.
[1:56] Yeah.
[1:57] The CD that – what makes me laugh though is like –
[2:00] we were playing snippets because we didn't want to play too much because don't get the CD.
[2:06] Yeah, don't give away.
[2:07] We were playing like tiny little half bits like just to get them hungry to then go and satisfy your urge.
[2:14] See us at JB this weekend.
[2:16] You know, we're going to be at Westfield Warringah Mall signing CDs and we signed a lot of CDs.
[2:23] We did a lot of CD signings, didn't we?
[2:24] Yeah.
[2:24] Had a real pattern too.
[2:25] We would pull the slip out.
[2:27] I mean, that's the thing that children these days will never know.
[2:30] You'd never know.
[2:30] You could grow up to be the biggest rock star in the world, but you'll never sit at a table and sign CDs.
[2:34] Yeah, and DVDs as well.
[2:37] And they'd partition it off and people would come and line up for hours.
[2:40] It took ages.
[2:41] Yeah.
[2:41] And then selfies came in.
[2:43] We're like, this is faster.
[2:44] Yeah.
[2:44] Let's do this.
[2:46] Anyway, great memories.
[2:47] You did two CDs, didn't you?
[2:48] Yeah.
[2:48] We sure did.
[2:49] I wanted to call the second one Remember CDs.
[2:53] And then they were like, nah, it's a bit too close to home because people aren't really buying CDs anymore.
[2:57] I was like, I think that's the joke.
[2:59] Yeah, but we can't say it.
[3:01] Well, we can.
[3:02] You know more better than anyone that no one remembers CDs.
[3:04] Yes.
[3:05] Because when we first did it with the company, there was like an office full of people that were putting the CD together.
[3:10] Yep.
[3:10] And there was like two people left at the company by the second CD.
[3:13] Yep.
[3:14] And then, I mean, five years later, we really got it wrong by printing way too many true story DVDs.
[3:23] True story DVDs.
[3:25] Did we do a DVD for true story?
[3:27] Yes, if you want one, there's one of them.
[3:29] I'll take one.
[3:30] True story, not real stories.
[3:31] No, true story DVD.
[3:33] In 2017?
[3:34] 16, I think.
[3:36] We made DVDs.
[3:37] I'm sorry.
[3:38] You have to find out this way.
[3:39] I didn't know that.
[3:42] We did.
[3:42] What would we do that for?
[3:43] Well, I said that at the time.
[3:45] I said that Tim, Tim and I are a bit more in charge of everything.
[3:48] I said, Tim, we should not be doing this.
[3:50] And he said, no, no, no.
[3:51] I've been told by Village Roadshow, the DVD, who we're doing a partnership with,
[3:55] They said they are very confident we'll move the DVDs.
[3:57] And I said, no.
[3:59] They may have lost their minds.
[4:00] They've lost their minds.
[4:02] It's on catch-up.
[4:03] And then to go into the details of it, there was two different models.
[4:06] Yeah, we might as well.
[4:07] There was two different models, right?
[4:09] There was a production-based model where we would – if we sold them all, you'd make more profit.
[4:14] If you didn't, because you had the cost of goods, like it was just… You bore the cost.
[4:18] Versus a royalty model.
[4:19] Which is like, hey… Which is just like, hey, it's your risk.
[4:23] They pay for it, but you get a tiny slice of the pie.
[4:26] And I said, well, Tim, please, we cannot go down the production model.
[4:30] And he's like…
[4:31] We're going to have to.
[4:32] We did it for Caravan of Courage.
[4:34] Yeah, I know.
[4:34] Yeah, but that's when people had DVD players.
[4:36] Yeah.
[4:37] And he went against me again and we have made no money from that.
[4:43] Would have cost a significant amount.
[4:44] Well, he is, I mean, again.
[4:47] Mike, sorry.
[4:47] I'm sharing one too much.
[4:48] No, this is fascinating.
[4:49] But.
[4:50] I think Village Roadshow DVDs has dissolved.
[4:53] Yep.
[4:53] And they never hit us up to recoup.
[4:55] Right.
[4:56] So things were so bad that they went bankrupt before they could ask us for the bill.
[5:00] Yeah, and the contract was open-ended.
[5:01] It was just like until it's run and then – So as long as we pretend that that DVD is still on sale somewhere.
[5:08] As long as the DVD is still available somewhere, they can't come to recoup losses of made DVDs.
[5:14] And is that why we're doing this show –
[5:16] hidden away in this room and you keep yelling at me, don't go near the window, don't go near the window.
[5:21] Village Rojo is out there.
[5:23] That's my understanding of where we are with the DVD.
[5:26] So we have a huge liability owing, but we haven't taken a bath on it yet.
[5:29] No, but I think it would be great to give them away at some point.
[5:33] It'd be great.
[5:33] Look, to be honest.
[5:34] For something.
[5:35] Like, you know.
[5:35] I didn't know we still could potentially get.
[5:37] For coasters or –
[5:39] Well, I mean, I don't want to seem greedy here, but if you go to hamishandy.com, I think $28.99 is a good price.
[5:46] You should buy them while we still have stock.
[5:49] Yeah.
[5:49] Yep.
[5:50] Selling fast.
[5:51] Yep.
[5:52] No, not selling fast.
[5:52] Not too fast.
[5:54] No, sorry.
[5:54] Now selling.
[5:55] Now selling.
[5:56] Actually, that's not true.
[5:57] Get them before they run out.
[5:59] Get them before they run out.
[6:00] That's what we need.
[6:00] That's a good not lying.
[6:01] Quick.
[6:02] Get them before they run out.
[6:03] Yeah.
[6:04] Because you can't get them once they run out.
[6:06] Yeah.
[6:06] Okay, so that was back in 2010, how times have changed.
[6:09] 2016.
[6:13] was not the first time we did this, but it was in the period where we were doing Layla's loot shoot.
[6:18] Now, I loved Layla's loot shoot.
[6:20] Did you groan?
[6:21] Yeah.
[6:21] Yeah, no one else did.
[6:22] I've said before on the Remembering Project, it was possible, like, you have a lot of great ideas, Hamish, but this wasn't one of them.
[6:29] I reject that feedback.
[6:31] I was bored during a meeting one day.
[6:33] I sketched out a chicken suit that could lay… It cost us a lot.
[6:36] It cost us a fortune.
[6:37] It cost us a lot.
[6:37] It could realistically lay eggs.
[6:38] It had a plunger system.
[6:40] Yep.
[6:40] So it popped out eggs and it could load up six eggs and within one of the eggs there was a prize.
[6:47] It was $1,400 with the suit, wasn't it?
[6:48] No, it was more than that.
[6:49] Was it?
[6:50] Very first time my son ever came into… Maybe we mentioned this last time, but I have strong memories.
[6:53] Like the first time my son, he was like two years old or something, came in to see Dad at work and I was dressed as a chicken.
[7:00] Doing it, shitting out eggs.
[7:02] It divided people.
[7:03] Like there was people within our team who really didn't like it and said, should we be bidding this?
[7:07] I think you've always harboured not an ill will to it, but I think you never loved it, but you through gritted teeth supported me.
[7:15] Yes, I supported you.
[7:17] You supported me, but I could tell you weren't fully invested.
[7:20] I also loved your resilience.
[7:23] And I'm running around the studio because it was like, is it DJ Khaled?
[7:27] Where it's like, all I do is win, win, win.
[7:30] And I'm like screaming at the crowd like, come on, fire up, you mum.
[7:35] Everyone was just looking at me with vacant stares every time we did it.
[7:38] Anyway, on this particular date, November 25th, 2016, at that stage Thirsty Camel was sponsoring it.
[7:45] Yes.
[7:46] And I pooped out.
[7:47] That was the Booby Prize.
[7:48] They got a six-pack.
[7:49] Six pack of beers.
[7:50] Six pack of beers.
[7:50] Okay.
[7:51] So I haven't picked that one to play.
[7:53] I am going to play one.
[7:54] Yeah.
[7:54] Because I think you could win $1,000 or maybe $10,000 if you got the magic egg.
[7:58] I can't remember.
[7:59] I think it was $1,000 because didn't your wife do it once?
[8:03] She probably got it.
[8:04] There's not a lot of sponsors for it.
[8:07] I think...
[8:08] When you're tapping up family and friends to sponsor your chicken soup so the segment can live, you know it's on life support.
[8:17] But I would not pull the block.
[8:19] I wouldn't.
[8:23] I was in the fight of my life to try and get that thing, let it catch fire.
[8:28] A few more weeks, guys, and this will take off.
[8:31] Sorry, I was being a bit harsh.
[8:32] Like, it was actually pretty fun.
[8:34] Sorry, man.
[8:35] I feel really bad.
[8:36] Mike, you always do this.
[8:36] You always say what you think.
[8:38] Seems like you might not have liked it before when you said it was the worst time you ever had.
[8:42] Then you get guilty and you circle back and you go, hey, by the way, man, I'm really sorry about that.
[8:46] Actually, I have got a poster of it on my wall.
[8:48] I actually love it.
[8:49] Can you do it for me now?
[8:51] No.
[8:53] Anyway, it makes me laugh when I see it pop up because I'm like, I fought.
[8:56] I'll continue to defend it.
[8:58] Because I think I'm just so attached to it because I was so proud of the drawing I did.
[9:02] Yeah, exactly.
[9:03] This 3D half chicken drawing.
[9:05] You know, your legs go in here.
[9:06] The pipe goes between your legs.
[9:07] It's hidden inside the suit.
[9:08] Plunge your system at the groin area.
[9:10] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[9:11] I was like, the detail was insane.
[9:13] Yeah, yeah.
[9:14] Anyway.
[9:14] That's good.
[9:16] We fired on six years later.
[9:18] Still can't quite get a majority ruling on whether or not it was a good segment.
[9:23] I want to focus on 2013.
[9:24] This was – now, we won't go into too much of the story.
[9:29] I've sort of picked it because I'm like, I would just like to hear us.
[9:33] I believe this is a break where we're recapping what's been going on.
[9:38] Right, okay.
[9:39] Any clues?
[9:39] Yeah.
[9:40] This particular week in 2013, it was dream week.
[9:44] This thing went on for six months because it originated where a few years before I'd correctly dreamt the winner of the Melbourne Cup.
[9:51] That's right.
[9:52] And everyone bet on it at about 40 to 1 or something.
[9:55] And since then, everyone's been like going, do you have any more dreams?
[9:58] Do you have any more dreams?
[9:59] Didn't have any more cup-winning dreams.
[10:01] And I said, I'll let you know if I had one.
[10:03] but I did have a prophetic dream, but it was about our show.
[10:06] Now, I won't go into the whole thing again.
[10:08] Yes, because I'm pretty sure this is quite a long bit.
[10:10] It's like eight minutes or something.
[10:12] I love this, but we acted upon another one of your dreams.
[10:15] Yep, I think it's… And it turned into something massive.
[10:18] It should be us covering everything off to see, to get to the point where for the final show of the year, the dream I'd had was Adam Levine singing with us at an unfinished water park.
[10:32] Awesome.
[10:33] That's after the break.
[10:35] Okay.
[10:36] I'm looking forward to this.
[10:36] So hopefully we don't need to say anything more because I'm just trying to avoid a big double up here.
[10:41] Yeah.
[10:41] But let's, this is the bit where we called the band that we were hoping that would be playing with Adam Levine when he turned up.
[10:51] He was not organized to turn up, but I had dreamt it.
[10:53] So I believed he would.
[10:55] This is the band that was going to be playing along as we waited for Adam Levine to turn up.
[11:02] The 25th of November, 2013.
[11:08] In ancient times, they foretold the birth of an oracle.
[11:13] A boy spawned to predict the future and tell the people their destiny.
[11:19] Whether it be good or bad.
[11:22] Gee, maybe that's me they're talking about.
[11:24] It is.
[11:25] They said he would go on to slay his parents.
[11:28] That's not me.
[11:29] And that a dream of his would change the world as we know it.
[11:32] Forever.
[11:36] In anticipation of this dream's realisation...
[11:39] It's four days away.
[11:40] ...the villagers would stop what they were doing and attempt to tie up loose ends, settle old quarrels, and pay back all debts.
[11:51] It would be known as... Dream Week.
[11:58] Good afternoon, everyone.
[11:59] It does commence Dream Week, Em.
[12:03] I was fast asleep.
[12:04] I just had another dream.
[12:06] I re-saw Adam Levine arriving on Friday.
[12:09] For people who've just tuned in, that would be a very strange opener.
[12:13] No, really?
[12:15] Look, an oracle, it seems.
[12:17] You've managed to have predictions through psychic dreams in the past that have been accurate.
[12:21] The most recent one was that Adam Levine will be here this Friday to perform a rendition of our song, or his song, Reworked by Us.
[12:29] I swear to God, I've seen it in my dream, Andy.
[12:31] I've seen it in my dream.
[12:32] Well, this week it is tying up loose ends.
[12:35] It's all about a countdown to this very moment.
[12:38] Well, because Tropical Cyclone Levine is about to hit Australia.
[12:41] We want to have everything nice and squared away before he gets here because when he does and he performs in our last show on Friday, that will kick off about one year of solid partying.
[12:51] And I don't want to be at the party having loose ends hanging around because it will just muck up my party flow and stop me getting my jam on.
[12:59] Well, hey, bad news.
[13:01] I know.
[13:03] Because the last thing you need when you try to tie up loose ends is more loose ends to tie up.
[13:09] That's okay.
[13:10] Sometimes if you have an uneven number of loose ends, you need another one so you can tie them together.
[13:15] A band has pulled out.
[13:17] of one of the biggest festivals going around.
[13:19] We've got the exclusive, and it's after this.
[13:24] It's Dream Week this week as we count down to Friday's show, Seeing With A Hamish's Psychic Dream, comes true of...
[13:31] Swear to God, it looked real.
[13:32] Us all going and doing the last show at an unfinished water park.
[13:36] That presented itself, wet and wild, to perform a reworking of an Adam Levine song.
[13:43] This is what kind of, you know, I wouldn't say we sat down and came up with.
[13:47] This is what the...
[13:48] This is what the song ended up being.
[13:49] The planets aligned and suddenly...
[13:51] Winds of Fate sort of wrote this song.
[14:03] There's no time for greed Cause you can
[14:10] Very, very nice song.
[14:11] Yeah.
[14:12] We needed a backing band for Adam Levine.
[14:14] That was booked in with the Baker Boys, a cover band in Sydney.
[14:18] And I assume that's going well.
[14:19] And look, this is Dream Week, so you're going to hear us talking a lot about the dream coming true on Friday this week, as well as tying up some loose ends.
[14:27] Marcus, the person who's singing then, he was the one that filled in a few gaps for us.
[14:32] He really wrote a lot of things.
[14:33] A lot of the music.
[14:36] A lot of the, sorry, well, I mean, Adam Levine and Maroon 5 wrote a lot of the music.
[14:39] He wrote a lot of the lyrics.
[14:41] We gave him the style and the tone by us psychically jamming the verse.
[14:47] He then, a couple of weeks ago, said he'd like his own cover band to play if Adam Levine doesn't rock up and he's, in fact, being called up as the next person in line to sing.
[14:59] Yeah.
[15:00] Well, that was interesting.
[15:02] The Baker Boys, which is the original cover band, were happy enough with that.
[15:06] Marcus' cover band, Furnace and the Fundamentals, they're going to be there on standby.
[15:10] So it's Baker Boys are going to be there ready to go if Levine runs in.
[15:14] If not, Baker Boys walk off stage immediately.
[15:17] Furnace and the Fundamentals walk on stage and play.
[15:19] And our new late singer comes on, who's Marcus.
[15:21] So what you've got is a situation where one song is to be played.
[15:23] Hmm.
[15:24] You have two bands and three frontmen in the mix.
[15:27] So there's a lot of different combinations.
[15:29] Not a huge amount of festivals are run this way.
[15:31] Because often when you look at... Because Chris and Coldplay just have Chris Martin.
[15:35] Well, that's the thing.
[15:35] But when you look at the board... Don't look across and see you two waiting there to see whether they're going to come and play with Chris.
[15:40] And they have different stages.
[15:41] That's what a lot of festivals do.
[15:43] So if you look at, say, Stereosonic or Future, they'll list all the artists, but very rarely will they list all those artists and go, one song only.
[15:51] Yeah, exactly.
[15:52] You know, and it's not a fight between the artists to see who plays the song.
[15:55] That is how our festival's shaping up to be.
[15:57] And that, it's safe to say, that has caused some problems, even for us, like us getting the story straight in our head about, you know, if Levine comes, who sings?
[16:05] If he doesn't come, who sings?
[16:06] Trying to work out all these contingencies.
[16:08] It'd be a lot easier if Levine had just, bloody pick up the phone, tell us if you're coming.
[16:12] But unfortunately, we have to just assume he is.
[16:16] But it means we have to put in place all these situations and these tangential ideas.
[16:21] Now, the Baker boys were going to leave if they didn't get the job.
[16:28] Is that a fact?
[16:29] Well, Marcus requested that they don't stick around.
[16:32] Oh, that's right.
[16:32] So they have to walk off and not be around on the day.
[16:36] Yeah.
[16:38] Look, that's going to come true now because, unfortunately, the Baker boys have withdrawn completely.
[16:50] Really?
[16:51] They've withdrawn completely.
[16:53] I'll give you my immediate reaction.
[16:55] Shock?
[16:55] Yeah.
[16:57] Slight relief because it probably makes this easier to explain to people who's singing and who's not singing.
[17:03] But then back to shock.
[17:04] So shock sandwich.
[17:05] And my worry is, is Levine comfortable with this?
[17:10] Don't tell Levine.
[17:11] No one tell Levine.
[17:13] Good on you, Maggie.
[17:13] Maggie's shaking her head outside like she was about to text him.
[17:17] Thanks, Mags.
[17:19] Good.
[17:19] Yeah, so no one tell Levine.
[17:20] Let's just keep this our little secret.
[17:22] So I don't want Levine to rock up and just go, who is this?
[17:26] If he's been listening and following it, which I assume he has, Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5, probably podcasting overseas, he would have looked up the Baker boys and gone, yeah, I'm comfortable enough working with them.
[17:36] I think this is the most likely situation.
[17:40] We know that he operates off a pretty short schedule.
[17:44] So when his manager's put his schedule for this week in front of him, it says, fly to Western Sydney, wet and wild, got the show.
[17:51] He doesn't have time to think too much about any other aspect.
[17:55] He would just assume there's a band.
[17:57] He won't be spooked.
[17:57] And if it does turn out to be Furnace and the Fundamentals, which it looks like it will be now, the Baker boys have... Let's lock them in now.
[18:03] Marcus, did you just hear that?
[18:05] I did, yeah.
[18:07] That's a bit of a shock, but...
[18:10] I can't say I'm too surprised.
[18:14] Okay, so what we've got here is your guys are definitely playing, Marcus.
[18:18] This is the first time we could have guaranteed that.
[18:21] Okay, well, that's good news.
[18:23] Can we confirm that?
[18:25] Can we lock your guys in?
[18:27] Yes, we can.
[18:28] We'll have to learn it probably in two different keys because, I mean, I'm taking a couple of matches down.
[18:32] We'll have to bring it back up for...
[18:33] Sorry, you just saved the fancy stuff for the rehearsal room.
[18:36] Marcus, we did, I mean, last week on the show, we were worried that if you rushed the stage thinking Adam Levine's not coming and he does run in and you guys both clash heads and fall over, knocked out, now we don't have a backup for that.
[18:50] I will do it.
[18:51] No, I was suggesting Marcus wears a helmet.
[18:54] Okay.
[18:55] Can you wear a helmet, Marcus?
[18:56] Marcus?
[18:57] for the just in case specifically me well yeah in the case that I clash heads with Adam Levine yeah that's what we're asking that's what I'm thinking we're trying to cover so I get to the stage and there's no clashing of heads and I can remove the helmet better best to leave it on
[19:11] Best to leave it on, I think, for the gig, just in case Levine gets there late, because he's landing at 2.30, so he won't have a lot of time to get there.
[19:19] And then he's sprinting to stage and he clunks head with you.
[19:22] Can you leave it on for the whole song, please?
[19:23] I could wear it.
[19:24] It doesn't really match our suits.
[19:26] We wear suits.
[19:28] We'd appreciate a helmet.
[19:30] Is it a bright yellow helmet?
[19:31] Well, we can... A shiny bright yellow?
[19:32] You can bring your own helmet.
[19:33] It just has to be a certified skate or bicycle helmet.
[19:38] A bicycle helmet?
[19:39] It can be a bicycle helmet.
[19:40] I'd loosen the chin strap as well just so your vocal cords aren't impeded.
[19:44] Okay.
[19:45] I've actually been known to wear a bicycle helmet.
[19:48] I don't like using this word in such a high-tension situation, but it is a deal-breaker for us.
[19:54] We need you to wear a bicycle helmet.
[19:56] Yeah, okay.
[19:57] We don't have another day.
[19:59] I can wear a helmet.
[20:00] Yeah, thank you.
[20:01] Thank you, Marcus.
[20:01] I'm going to look chilly.
[20:02] No, it'll be wonderful.
[20:04] You'll look safe.
[20:06] Thank you, Marcus.
[20:07] Safety is the coolest thing you can do.
[20:09] Yeah, I recommend you.
[20:13] What a ridiculous week.
[20:15] What a ridiculous week.
[20:18] I loved it so much.
[20:19] I don't think it's Mike's favourite.
[20:22] He's shaking his head.
[20:24] This is my all-time favourite Hamish and Andy story.
[20:27] Really?
[20:28] Just like making a gun.
[20:30] He did it too.
[20:31] He wore a helmet.
[20:32] He sang the whole song in a helmet.
[20:33] And I, and we've talked about this before, but I just still have such clear memories because we went and my dream was, we couldn't believe it, just to rewind this a bit.
[20:42] When I dreamt of an unfinished water park, I had no concept there was a wet and wild opening in Sydney.
[20:46] Now Raging Rapids, I believe.
[20:49] And then when we found out, oh, yeah, there's one being built in Sydney and it's got a soft launch at the end of the year but it won't be finished, I was like…
[20:56] This is unbelievable.
[20:58] Who dreams of an unfinished water park at the exact time that there's going to be an unfinished water park?
[21:04] And it was our last idea.
[21:06] It was just bizarre.
[21:08] I think we had 100 people from all over the country come in.
[21:10] I think we came from New Zealand to see.
[21:11] There was still…
[21:13] cement trucks and stuff in the background at Wet n Wild, like Rio, like sticking out of cement and stuff.
[21:20] And we knew, even though you knew Adam Levine wasn't coming.
[21:24] I knew he probably wasn't, but I still felt like.
[21:27] But damn it, I felt like the, it's like when you've got a multi, I still feel like the unfinished theme park was the longer on.
[21:33] And that's already coming.
[21:35] So now all I need is over 40 disposals for Adam Levine.
[21:40] But I was like, oh.
[21:41] When I was out in the car park and I had the microphone, so I had the headphones on and the microphone, I'm up in the car park and the countdown's on to be like, you know, we said we're going to play the song at this time.
[21:51] And you're like, hey, is there any sign?
[21:54] And I was up in the car park by myself just like looking around going, hang on, hang on.
[21:58] And you're like, well, can you see something?
[22:00] I was like, no, but...
[22:03] I'm just amazed he's not like, where is Adam Levine?
[22:07] He should be going like looking for a Tarago.
[22:09] And he didn't come in.
[22:11] As I've said before, and again, apologies for people that have heard this.
[22:14] When I ran back down and I saw Marcus start singing with Furnace and the Fundamentals.
[22:19] He did look a bit like Adam Levine.
[22:21] That's what I'm saying.
[22:22] He looked, not a bit, so much like Adam Levine.
[22:26] In a helmet.
[22:27] In a helmet.
[22:28] In a helmet.
[22:29] In a helmet.
[22:30] In a helmet.
[22:31] In case one of the biggest singers in the world rushes to stage with such emotion that he grabs the mic and clucks his head.
[22:39] Do you know what I'm going to say?
[22:41] This is dumb too.
[22:41] In that scenario, Levine gets knocked out.
[22:44] And Marcus is protecting.
[22:46] Marcus continues singing.
[22:47] We should have given a helmet to Levine.
[22:49] Knocked out Levine, just clumped in his legs.
[22:52] Why are we protecting Marcus?
[22:54] And Levine's the guy we want conscious.
[22:59] He looked so much like Adam Levine that I just had this moment, I was like, oh my God, this is what I dream.
[23:04] This is the dream.
[23:05] My dream person, dream me, thought it was Adam Levine.
[23:09] Because that was the only point of reference.
[23:10] You didn't know Marcus then.
[23:13] Yeah, it did come true.
[23:16] Could remember.
[23:16] Thank you.
