Hamish and Andy remember that when Todd Sampson was a guest on the show he really didn’t understand how the censorship ‘beep’ worked, and consequently dropped an F Bomb live on air. They try to recall why they made life hard for themselves during the Caravan of Courage, including Hamish sleeping in a gorilla suit. They then listen back to 2014 when Hamish started a side-hustle selling Timomatic’s autograph. Hamish & Andy's Remembering Project. Season 1, Episode 16.

## Transcript

[0:02] A listener production.
[0:06] Wilhelm, this is our remembering project.
[0:08] Yep, where a random day of the year is selected and we look up the run sheets from all our shows from across the years to find any we did on that day.
[0:17] Over 20 years, that's about 2,500 shows and roughly 26,000 talk breaks.
[0:22] Today, we pick one.
[0:24] One talk break only and try to remember what happened based on what was written down on the run sheet from that day.
[0:29] As always, we've got podcast Mike with us here for any technical stuff.
[0:32] Hello.
[0:32] Mike, what date was randomly chosen today?
[0:35] It's the 28th of October.
[0:37] Okay, then.
[0:38] It's Hamish Go.
[0:39] Let's kick this off and find out what years Ham will take us back to and see if we remember anything from those years.
[0:47] This is Hamish and Andy's Remembering Project.
[0:54] And 28th of October, heck of a day.
[0:57] Heck of a day.
[0:58] Great.
[0:59] Across the years.
[1:01] In 2013, here's something I want to ask you about.
[1:03] Couldn't be bothered digging it up because I think there's better stuff to talk about on different years.
[1:07] One thing I saw in the run sheet from 2013, it simply says beep test.
[1:11] Did we ever do a beep test on radio?
[1:13] People that don't remember, beep tests are things you do at high school.
[1:16] We have to like run from one side of the basketball court to the other before it beeps and the beeps start getting faster and it's like a measure of how athletically gifted you are.
[1:24] Mike, you probably seem a bit nervous of that.
[1:26] I definitely have scar tissue from remembering in my high school days when I was a pretty unathletic kid, asthma, just dreading the beep test.
[1:35] I don't think we would have done a beep test.
[1:36] Why would we have done a beep test?
[1:37] Sounds like the kind of thing you would have gone...
[1:40] I got to level 14 on the beep test and I bet I still could or something.
[1:43] Yeah.
[1:44] Yeah.
[1:45] I can't remember.
[1:46] The reason why I doubt that I said that is because our school was one of the rare ones that didn't do the beep test.
[1:52] Yeah, right.
[1:53] Yeah.
[1:55] I don't know why.
[1:56] We definitely could afford the beeps.
[1:59] Yeah, I've been, since been to your high school.
[2:01] Yeah, yeah.
[2:02] You'd think they'd be able to afford the beeps.
[2:03] They've got pockets deep enough for a beep.
[2:06] So I don't know what that would have been.
[2:08] You could have had someone there playing the beeps on a grand piano.
[2:12] They would have preferred that.
[2:14] They were very much into the music.
[2:16] Just like a big C major chord on the pipe organ getting faster and faster and faster.
[2:22] So, yeah, no, I don't remember us going back to try and do a beep test.
[2:25] I saw that and I was just like, well, I wouldn't.
[2:27] Because the reason I go, I don't think we would have done a beep test on radio is it's very bad radio.
[2:31] Yeah, very bad radio.
[2:32] I can't really.
[2:33] I like to think that we could try.
[2:34] You know, it's an interesting puzzle to solve to go, how could you make a beep test interesting on radio, audio-wise?
[2:41] Unless we took the concept of a beep test and applied it to something else.
[2:44] Like, so going.
[2:45] Could it have been the time where Jack had to do the sensor beep to block out a swear word live?
[2:51] Was it that kind of beep test?
[2:53] Could be a beep test.
[2:54] Yes.
[2:54] To go, can you catch us before we swear?
[2:58] Yep.
[2:59] Can you hit the beep?
[3:00] And it was because Todd Sampson swore live on the show and he thought that you could live bleep it.
[3:05] I think that was what happened.
[3:06] Gee, Mike, well done.
[3:07] Did you find that online?
[3:08] Yes.
[3:09] No, no, I just remember that moment where Todd Sampson said the F word and then he pointed at Jack.
[3:14] He was like, you get the beep already.
[3:16] I know, that's it.
[3:18] Andy was away that day.
[3:19] Before he said the F word, he goes, and actually what happened is, and get the beep ready.
[3:24] The guy said, get the fuck out of here.
[3:25] And we're like, that's not how it works.
[3:30] Get the beep ready, okay?
[3:32] That's hilarious.
[3:33] And it's amazing that, Mike, you remember that.
[3:35] You weren't there.
[3:37] I think it was the dad show where you had Pete Hellier.
[3:40] What year was it?
[3:41] Yeah, 2013.
[3:41] No, it wasn't.
[3:42] It must have been.
[3:43] Maybe it wasn't that then.
[3:44] It wasn't.
[3:45] I wasn't a dad until 2014.
[3:47] But we may have done that with Jack.
[3:48] But, yeah, maybe not in reaction.
[3:50] That's right.
[3:50] The get the beep ready went down as a classic moment internally.
[3:55] realizing that you can't just swear and hope that.
[3:59] I mean, you have to prepare the beep.
[4:02] It's just not sitting there the whole time.
[4:04] And look, some panel ops would be good enough potentially, but Jack, I mean.
[4:10] It requires some booting up.
[4:12] But I remember your old producer, Carly, used to send an email around if anything had to be dumped on radio, and she just sent an email to all staff saying, hey, guys, Todd's just said the F word.
[4:22] We didn't dump it because we thought we covered it up well enough, but you didn't because he did just say the F word.
[4:27] He did.
[4:27] But those are the days, like we've discussed before, we didn't have a delay where you can dump it now, and that just means, like, you know, you lose a weird amount of time, but the swear word doesn't go to air.
[4:39] Yep.
[4:40] The general rule we got to, we have discussed this before on this podcast where we were like, we were so scared because technically if someone complained, you could lose your life.
[4:49] The radio station could get in heaps of trouble.
[4:51] The general rule was just like, don't draw attention to it.
[4:54] Brush over it if it was all...
[4:57] No harm, no foul.
[4:58] Yeah.
[4:58] You know, if everyone means well, you can kind of get away with it.
[5:00] Because it was more like the intention of the swear word was the offensive thing that people found.
[5:06] Yeah.
[5:06] Not an accidental one that you could cover up.
[5:08] Yeah.
[5:09] A swear word in anger or with aggression was going to gain far more complaints.
[5:14] Than Todd Stamps and telling a funny story.
[5:15] Yeah.
[5:15] Yeah.
[5:16] Anyway, that wasn't the beep test, but I don't...
[5:18] So some sort of beep test happened in 2013.
[5:19] In 2009...
[5:23] We had the Joyce montage on the show.
[5:25] And if I remember correctly, Joyce was the listener making me give you my treadmill.
[5:31] And then, well, Joyce became kind of the person we'd call if we had an argument that you couldn't resolve between the two of us.
[5:37] I didn't like calling Joyce because I just felt like she heavily favoured you and just yelled at me to give you things.
[5:44] Until I sold the treadmill.
[5:46] So what happened was, Mike, is...
[5:49] Hamish had a treadmill at the front of his house and it was tarped.
[5:52] I had a treadmill at the house and we're like, well, look, we're not using this yet again.
[5:55] It was like the third treadmill we'd owned.
[5:57] Put it out the front.
[5:58] We had to move a bunch of furniture around.
[5:59] We're like, put it on the front porch.
[6:01] Yep.
[6:01] It stayed there for yonks.
[6:03] Well, then the hope was it was going to get readmitted to the house once we were back on a fitness kick.
[6:08] Yep.
[6:08] But it did just stay on the front porch.
[6:10] Yep.
[6:11] And Hamish… And he stole it.
[6:13] …gave it to me.
[6:15] I'm pretty sure.
[6:16] No.
[6:17] What happened was you stole it.
[6:20] You got someone to turn up to the house and steal it to see if I'd notice.
[6:22] And I didn't notice to my 50-year credit.
[6:26] But then you had it and you were like, well, I'm just going to keep it because you don't need it.
[6:30] And I said, well, you can buy it off me.
[6:31] That's right.
[6:32] And you went, well, you're not using it, so I'm just going to keep it.
[6:33] And you'd already had it here, I think, at this stage.
[6:36] Yep.
[6:36] And your girlfriend was using it.
[6:37] Yep.
[6:38] And Joyce, we rang Joyce and she rang up and said,
[6:41] Hamish, he's your best friend.
[6:45] You don't charge your best friend.
[6:47] I was like, but he stole it.
[6:49] Hamish, he's your best friend.
[6:51] I was like, Joyce, it's a $1,500 treadmill.
[6:54] And then we realized we weren't using it.
[6:56] So I sold it on eBay.
[6:57] That's right.
[7:00] So I told you that and I said I'm keeping the money and we had to bring Joyce back.
[7:05] Then.
[7:06] That's when she turned back and I saw, I thought Joyce would be well on my side after the first time and I saw what Hamish had taken from Joyce and got an ear for myself.
[7:15] And I remember at the time I was going, yeah, I think you sold it for like 500 bucks or whatever.
[7:19] And then me going, great, I'm going to get the 500 bucks.
[7:21] And she's like, no, you have it.
[7:23] I was like, why is he getting half for processing the sale?
[7:27] Biggest commish of all time, a 50% sales fee.
[7:30] Anyway, so in 2009, I'm pretty sure we had the montage of Joyce on the show.
[7:35] That's great.
[7:36] That brought back some great memories.
[7:37] 2008, on the 28th of October.
[7:39] Hmm.
[7:41] It was Caravan of Courage number two from the bottom of Australia to the top.
[7:46] We've landed in that zone a little bit, but we were actually on the Caravan of Courage this day.
[7:51] Where were we?
[7:52] I think we were at our first stop in Williamstown, but not Williamstown, Melbourne.
[7:59] The first stop on the second Caravan of Courage was in Adelaide called Williamstown.
[8:05] Really?
[8:05] Yeah, or Williamtown, maybe.
[8:07] Williamtown.
[8:08] Right.
[8:09] Okay.
[8:09] It was the, what's noticeable about it, though, was it was the night after the first time I'd slept in the gorilla seat.
[8:17] Because I didn't bring a sleeping bag.
[8:19] I didn't bring a sleeping bag or a pill.
[8:20] They'd be provided.
[8:21] He kept saying, I thought they'd be provided.
[8:23] Which, like, to be honest, they were like, guys, you know, here's the caravan, Jayco are sponsoring it.
[8:28] It's fully kitted out.
[8:30] Like, this is what you're sleeping in for the trip.
[8:34] Sure.
[8:35] It's like… This is the cabin you're sleeping in, not specifically what you're sleeping in.
[8:39] Why don't they go like, here's your hotel room.
[8:41] Oh, where's the blankets and stuff?
[8:42] Oh, we don't do that.
[8:44] So I was like, I assumed since the producers and stuff are like organising food and the caravan and everything, when we turned up and we were driving along, we got to the first campsite.
[8:52] Yeah.
[8:52] He didn't bring a sleeping bag.
[8:53] He didn't bring undies.
[8:54] He didn't bring a driver's licence from memory, but he did bring a gorilla sleep.
[8:58] Like, what am I sleeping in?
[8:59] They're like, where's your sleeping bag?
[9:00] He's like…
[9:01] Well, I didn't know we were going staying over at Tim's house in Year 9.
[9:04] I didn't know you had to bring a sleeping bag.
[9:07] So I slept in the gorilla suit.
[9:08] Yeah.
[9:09] It was actually quite hot.
[9:11] Too hot?
[9:11] Way too hot.
[9:12] Too hot.
[9:12] I think it was the rubber one.
[9:13] It was rubberized.
[9:14] It was freezing.
[9:15] You put it on and for the first sort of 10 minutes you go, you're going to go.
[9:18] I'm not going to get warm in this.
[9:19] This is just rubber and I hate this.
[9:23] And then about 10 minutes later, you're like, I'm absolutely cooking in this thing.
[9:26] Yeah, exactly.
[9:26] I remember sleeping one arm in, one arm out.
[9:28] Like a dishwashing glove because you start getting very sweaty.
[9:31] Very sweaty in there.
[9:32] So it was a one arm in, one arm out gorilla suit sleep.
[9:36] And the fur would get in your mouth.
[9:37] Yeah, it was terrible.
[9:38] And we were in the caravan then at opposite ends.
[9:41] Yes.
[9:43] only did we graduate to the RV where we were up at the one end together.
[9:47] Yes.
[9:48] Across just from each other.
[9:49] Yeah, that was in America, wasn't it?
[9:50] Yeah.
[9:50] And I just, it fascinates me that we committed to those sleeping arrangements.
[9:55] Because everyone, we stopped at Caravan Park.
[9:57] There was normally a motel besides or a cabin.
[10:00] All the crew went and stayed in cabins.
[10:01] All the crew went and stayed in their own cabins, had a good time.
[10:04] But we were like, no, we're doing this.
[10:06] It was so dumb.
[10:07] It was like, why am I sleeping in a gorilla suit?
[10:10] For 10 hours or, like, you know, however long we're in bed, eight hours probably, when 50 metres away, you could just have a motel bed.
[10:17] But I was like, no, no, no, we said we were going to do it.
[10:20] That's the adventure.
[10:21] And always use the caravan showers, et cetera, as well.
[10:25] Yeah, yeah.
[10:26] That was, anyway, bloody good fun, though.
[10:28] I'm glad we did it.
[10:29] I'm glad we did it.
[10:29] Because I do have great memories of, you know, freezing cold mornings just...
[10:33] walking across the caravan park just in our undies because we would always be on the road by like 7 o'clock so no one else at the caravan park was up just trudging across.
[10:42] And we had very little worry about nudity in those era for some reason.
[10:45] We thought it was totally acceptable to just walk around everywhere in your underpants just in our undies with our little toiletry bags just clomping over to the shower block.
[10:53] That's not where I want to take us.
[10:54] I want to take us to 2014.
[10:56] Great.
[10:57] So a little bit more recent.
[10:58] I mean, I know this was still six years ago, but it feels a bit more recent.
[11:00] So what date are we on again?
[11:01] We're on the 29th of October, 2014.
[11:03] Okay.
[11:03] I'm going to give you one man's name, and then we're going to do the sponsorship stuff and come back after this.
[11:09] So we would have been doing… You're not going to get us it.
[11:12] Sorry, no, we would have been, the show we would have been doing though would have been the happy hour.
[11:17] Yes, I believe so.
[11:18] And were we still doing drive every once a week?
[11:22] I think this was one of those years but it was more that we were, yeah, doing a daily hour show that was again kind of more heavily focused on the podcast.
[11:30] Yep.
[11:31] I'm going to give you the one man's name now.
[11:34] Tim O'Manick.
[11:37] Back in a sec.
[11:39] Tim-O-Matic, what a journey.
[11:42] You sold, well, we did sell.
[11:46] I'm not trying to pin it on you if the authorities come.
[11:50] I certainly led the charge.
[11:51] Yeah, I was selling Tim-O-Matic's signature as done by Hamish.
[11:55] Yep.
[11:56] You and I have recently trademarked our Hamish and Andy.
[11:59] Yeah.
[12:00] It took us all these years, Mike, 20 years.
[12:02] We're like, well, you get around to doing that.
[12:04] Tim-O-Matic should have as well.
[12:05] Should have.
[12:07] He would have had a bit more of a leg to stand on.
[12:08] But I think this started from memory, and I don't think this is the break we've got here.
[12:13] It started we just, we had his phone number, right?
[12:17] And then we're like, what's a funny thing we can do with Tim-O-Matic?
[12:20] I can't remember where this idea came from, but I remember calling him pretending.
[12:23] I think we might have gone into the studio and his phone number was still in the system.
[12:27] No.
[12:27] Yeah, here's what I think happened.
[12:29] Didn't we do a prank on him?
[12:30] I did.
[12:31] I remember the prank, but I don't know why we had his number.
[12:33] Right.
[12:33] So I called him and was like, hey, man, it's Jerry here from Today FM because I think he'd been in the Sydney studios.
[12:38] Yeah.
[12:38] Oh, no, that's right.
[12:39] He'd been in Melbourne pretending he was in Sydney.
[12:42] Right.
[12:42] Like landlining it for maybe Australia's Got Talent or X Factor or something.
[12:48] He was one of the judges on a show like that.
[12:50] Yeah.
[12:50] So he'd been like… Well, I think he was discovered on Australia's Got Talent and then became… And he won that and he won the opportunity to present on another show called The X Factor, which is just incredible.
[13:02] That's amazing.
[13:03] Well, real rags to riches.
[13:09] you know, like doing an interview with whatever, Kyle and Jackie O or someone, and he's in Melbourne linking up studios, we see his number still in the system, right?
[13:18] Somehow.
[13:18] Or his phone number on the desk or whatever.
[13:20] I remember then calling and going, hey, man, it's, you know, Jamie here from Today FM in Sydney with Kyle and Jackie O.
[13:26] Hey, I'm going to go, hey,
[13:28] Everyone that comes on the show, we get them to sign the wall.
[13:31] We have a celebrity wall.
[13:32] A celebrity wall.
[13:32] Now, I know you're in Melbourne, so just describe your autograph to me and I'm going to sign for you just so we've got you part of the show.
[13:40] And he was like, oh.
[13:41] I prefer to come back and do it.
[13:42] Yeah, why don't I do it?
[13:43] And I'm there next thing.
[13:43] Nah, man, like, you know, we just like to get it done on the day.
[13:46] He's like, okay, why don't I send you a photo?
[13:49] He's like, I'm right here, just tell me, just verbally describe your autograph.
[13:53] So he's like, okay.
[13:54] Which is impossible to do.
[13:55] Which is impossible.
[13:55] He's like, it's a T and so like a normal size down stroke and then quite a long upper.
[14:03] Quite a long like lateral stroke on the T. Then kind of like cursive is like M-amatic.
[14:09] And then the dots kind of like land above that lateral stroke on the T. So really trying my best to do it.
[14:14] And then…
[14:16] I think we had a laugh.
[14:16] I'm like, no, sorry, mate.
[14:17] It's just Hamish.
[14:18] I'm here.
[14:18] But then we were like, can you send us your autograph?
[14:20] Or did we send us yours?
[14:22] And he went, that's really close.
[14:23] Yeah.
[14:24] I think it was just like, actually send us yours.
[14:26] I'd like to see how close we got.
[14:27] Yeah.
[14:28] Then I realized I'd done a pretty good job.
[14:30] Yeah.
[14:30] And from there, I realized, well, since I can do Tim and Maddox autograph, I've obviously got a natural skill at this.
[14:36] Could we leverage this into a business?
[14:37] And I started selling…
[14:38] Tim-O-Matic's autograph on the show, I think for $5 a pop.
[14:42] The price fluctuated from show to show.
[14:46] At times there was a wedding offer.
[14:47] It was.
[14:49] It was on the back of coasters.
[14:51] Yeah, I was selling one of the show's coasters and we were getting a lot of orders for them.
[14:56] In fact, at one stage my days were mostly taken up doing his autograph.
[14:59] I don't know what this is.
[15:00] This is so 28th of October.
[15:02] It's just Tim-O-Matic update.
[15:04] Great.
[15:05] Like that's all it says.
[15:06] Let's have a listen.
[15:09] The 28th of October, 2014.
[15:10] Happy hour.
[15:13] Hamish and Andy with you.
[15:14] Before we go, Ham, I've got some pretty, pretty scary news.
[15:24] It's to do with your business selling termmatic autographs.
[15:27] Well, Andy, I've also got some scary news.
[15:35] But you go first.
[15:39] People don't know Hamish tells performers, Tim O'Matic, singer-dancer, sometimes judge-performer, his autograph online.
[15:49] I found out I had a talent, and that talent was to be able to do Tim O'Matic's autograph.
[15:53] Do I let this talent go to waste, even though God has given it to me?
[15:55] No, that's an insult to God.
[15:57] I must get my talent out there.
[15:58] I have a gift, and people have acknowledged that, Ando.
[16:02] Hamishnandy.com, we have sold a lot of Tim and Maddox autograph.
[16:05] Comes on the back of a happy hour coaster.
[16:07] I believe it's at $8 at the moment.
[16:11] The Christmas 7... 7.70.
[16:13] 7.70, that's right.
[16:14] I dropped the prices as a thank you to all my loyal customers.
[16:16] The Christmas edition is currently for sale.
[16:18] Mm-hmm.
[16:19] where the signature is red and the dot is green, or the signature is green and the dot on the eye of the Timomatic is red.
[16:27] Well, here's the bad news.
[16:33] There's another person in the market selling them.
[16:35] Son of a... Well, that's copying.
[16:40] I don't think that's...
[16:41] I have an ethical issue with that.
[16:42] Here's the predicament for you.
[16:43] What have they done?
[16:44] His name's Marcus.
[16:46] He seems like he has it down pat.
[16:48] Have you got a picture of one of his autographs?
[16:50] Yeah, I've got it for you here.
[16:52] Give us a look.
[16:52] I'll be the judge on whether or not this hack can do the autograph.
[16:56] That is so bad, mate, and I'm not just saying that.
[16:58] That is pretty close to what you're doing.
[17:00] That is horrible.
[17:01] Show it to me again.
[17:02] That's an insult.
[17:03] Do not buy one of Marcus's.
[17:05] Firstly, the downstroke of the capital T does not have a return to the top.
[17:09] It is a single stroke.
[17:10] Okay.
[17:10] Okay?
[17:11] Well, don't give him the tips, mate, because I reckon that's pretty close.
[17:14] I reckon that's junk.
[17:16] You'll never see me doing a signature like that, guys.
[17:18] And that's what I'm talking about.
[17:20] When you're buying Tim and Maddox autograph, please make sure you get good for one of the quality distributors.
[17:24] He's selling them for two bucks a pop.
[17:26] Guys out there like this.
[17:27] It's undercut you on price.
[17:28] Do you know what?
[17:29] Fine, and I stand by my quality price because you'll have a junk autograph at $2.
[17:34] You will.
[17:35] It's a piece of, it's just an insult to those of us that actually take time and put effort and craft into autographs.
[17:43] And it looks like he's just done it on pen on thin paper.
[17:46] I use a top-of-the-range Sharpie, celebrity's choice for when they're doing autographs, and I put it on a thick coaster.
[17:52] He's now going onto coasters.
[17:53] Good luck, mate.
[17:54] Good luck, mate.
[17:56] And is postage and handling included?
[17:58] In his two bucks?
[18:00] I bet it's extra.
[18:01] It'd probably have to be extra.
[18:02] He's just a shunky operator.
[18:03] I don't like the sounds of this guy at all.
[18:06] No, not one bit, sir.
[18:08] And I'm glad you brought it up.
[18:10] I report this guy to the ACCC because he's selling an inferior product.
[18:14] Whereas you come to me and you know you get the top of the line quality Tim and Matic autograph.
[18:19] When Virgin Airlines came into the mix, Qantas had to pull their prices down.
[18:24] Well, yeah, that's a price war.
[18:26] Yeah.
[18:26] Are you in a price war?
[18:28] Because the market could reasonably think that they were both offering a similar quality.
[18:32] Well, some people...
[18:34] The market does not think that in this case.
[18:36] A little bit of economics 101.
[18:38] The market won't be fooled by that.
[18:39] I'm not scared by them for one second.
[18:42] Festive tin-o-matic autographs remain on sale at the very fair price of $7.70.
[18:47] That's postage included.
[18:49] HamishAnnie.com.
[18:50] Get your bulk orders in for Christmas.
[18:52] Makes a wonderful gift.
[18:53] And festy ones.
[18:53] For anyone that has eyes.
[18:55] And festy ones.
[18:56] What's it?
[18:57] Terrible infested.
[18:59] Terrible festy ones from Marcus.
[19:01] Two bucks a pop.
[19:02] But you are not covered.
[19:03] There's no warranty, and I highly doubt they have a customer service division like we do.
[19:08] What's the warranty that you're going at the moment?
[19:10] How many years warranty do you have at the moment?
[19:13] Years, obviously.
[19:13] You're covered for the first half an hour that you open it up.
[19:18] So we've got time for today.
[19:20] Thank you for being with us.
[19:21] Hamishnady.com for anything you may have missed.
[19:23] The podcast is there.
[19:25] How do you know you're on the top?
[19:25] Because people start imitating you.
[19:27] We'll catch you tomorrow.
[19:28] That's actually mimetic you were on the top.
[19:33] God, it gave us a lot of joy, the Tim O'Matic autograph.
[19:35] Yeah.
[19:36] Loved it.
[19:36] He was pretty good about it.
[19:37] He was pretty good.
[19:38] There was one... Once it started gathering a bit of steam, Mike, he caught on where he heard about it and someone must have sent him a picture because he put on Twitter a photo of the autograph and someone would be like, you know, best $770 I've ever spent, whatever, and sent it to Tim O'Matic.
[19:56] He reposted that.
[19:57] Like, he...
[19:58] And then, like, put it on Twitter going, ha-ha, hey, Hamish and Andy, ha-ha-ha, where's my cut?
[20:03] And we're about going, keep your nose out of it.
[20:05] It's got nothing to do with you.
[20:08] Our policy was affirmed.
[20:09] Mate, this has got absolutely nothing to do with you.
[20:11] It had nothing to do with him.
[20:12] Mate, this is me doing a thing on my show with my friend and we are selling them to our listeners.
[20:18] It's got nothing to do with you.
[20:19] Get your snout out of it, you money-grubbing bandit.
[20:22] Yeah, what a greedy bastard.
[20:23] What a greedy bastard.
[20:24] And then at the end of the year, I decided, like, the workload was getting too much.
[20:28] And for people familiar with the movie version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...
[20:32] Like Willy Wonka, kind of knowing that you can't do this forever and you've got to hand the talent on to the younger generation or somebody else that has the passion.
[20:41] And that's why he picks Charlie, spoiler alert.
[20:44] You picked Tim.
[20:45] Well, I ran auditions and I said I found someone that can do the autograph and he can have the business from now on.
[20:50] And it was Tim O'Matic and it came into official.
[20:52] I've still got the photo.
[20:53] It pops up in my phone.
[20:55] It had nothing to do with his lawyers sending us a letter.
[20:58] Still got the photo of my phone of us shaking hands with Tim and Manic at the official business handover.
[21:06] It pops up from top to top.
