[0:09] You're listening to Crowning Ignorant Kings, a podcast for citizens with like minds who
[0:15] love God, follow Christ, and have a desire to be an ambassador for
[0:20] the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. We are John and Charlene Donaldson, who
[0:25] are teachers building a kingdom community. Thank you again for joining us. Now
[0:30] let's suggust our Crowns Life. These men gave him their company, their businesses
[0:42] for him. He trained them. We need trained leaders, so we need
[0:54] trained leaders. You know, many governments have invited me into do training for
[0:59] them, and you know, tomorrow i'll show you some of those photographs because
[1:03] some people don't believe that happens, but you know, the entire government would
[1:06] lock me in a room with them with security outside, and I would train
[1:10] them for hours. And I'm sitting there with the cabinet, with the members
[1:14] of Parliament and senators, and I'm working with these men eight o'clock in the
[1:18] morning until four pm. You know, every day it's working with them.
[1:22] And you'll be amazed how they sit there and go into shock when I start
[1:26] teaching about leadership principles and leadership skills and leadership mechanism and techniques and working and
[1:30] planning and vision and goal setting. They're like, Wow, how come no
[1:36] one never told us about this? These are the leaders of the country.
[1:46] You cannot vote a person into leadership. You can vote them into parliament,
[1:51] but not leadership. So don't assume that someone in power knows leadership very different.
[2:09] Jesus Christ taught us the kingdom perspective of leadership because he based it on
[2:16] a principle I call purpose. I wanna recommend a couple of things to you.
[2:23] Remember this thought. Number one. The most important component leadership is purpose.
[2:27] We learned that today, didn't we It begins with purpose, a sense
[2:30] of meaning for your life. Leadership begins in you when you discover that you
[2:36] were born to do something very important to the world and in the world,
[2:40] and each one of you were born to do something in the world in the
[2:45] earth you came and do it. The average person dies and never finds it,
[2:49] but each person has it. And secondly, when you find it,
[2:58] it gives you significance. Pro Verbs nineteen, verse twenty one is my favorite
[3:02] verse when it comes to the subject of purpose. It says, many other
[3:07] plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's work purpose that will
[3:10] prevail many other plans in a man's heart. That word plans their main schemes
[3:17] ideas preferences. He says. You prefer a lot of things for your life.
[3:23] You've decided what you wanna be, where you wanna go, who you
[3:24] wanna marry, where you wanna live. You decide all kind of things.
[3:28] But what kind of career you want, what kind of vocation you want?
[3:30] You decide all the things, he said, But God already has a purpose
[3:32] for your life. The best way to do to describe this verse is is
[3:42] this way. God's advice is, before you make plans, consult Him for
[3:49] your purpose, so that you make your plans according to His purpose for your
[3:53] life, so you don't waste your time and your energy and your money.
[3:58] How many of you want to call it and got the wrong degree? Many
[4:00] people you spend four years and spend fifty thousand dollars to come home to discover
[4:08] God and discover what you study and love what you were born to do.
[4:14] Because meant you made plans before purpose. This is one of the reasons why
[4:20] God encourages humanity, he says in the last chapter and also the twelve chapter
[4:27] and the last chapter of Ecclesiastes. He says, remember now, thy creator,
[4:31] when in the days of your youth, learn me now, Study me
[4:36] now, so you can know your purpose. Early when I went to college,
[4:40] I knew it to study. I didn't waste my money. I got
[4:43] three bachelor's degrees in four years because I knew exactly what I was studying.
[4:47] My master's degree was perfectly timed. I knew what it was supposed to be.
[4:50] I knew what I wanted to do, so I didn't waste my money.
[4:57] Know my time. Purpose is more important than plans. Write that down,
[5:02] please, Purpose is what more important than plants? Readiverse again. You'll
[5:10] see it's true many other plans in your heart. God said, but my
[5:13] purpose will prevail. Number two, Purpose is more powerful than plans. Read
[5:19] it again. You'll see it. Many other plans you have, he says,
[5:23] but my purpose will what prevail. It will overrule and overrive your plans.
[5:29] And thirdly, purpose precedes plans. Read it again. He says,
[5:33] before you was even created to make plans, already had a purpose for your
[5:36] life. So purpose existed long before you were conceived. So what you were
[5:41] born to do existed before your birth. Your birth was designed based on your
[5:47] purpose, and your gifts were designed based on your purpose. So purpose is
[5:54] more powerful than anything else in the world. Another word for purposes the word
[5:58] will you purpose something? You will it God's will for your life. It's
[6:04] more important than your plans for your life. And that's why the heart of
[6:09] mankind is searching for the will of God. What is God's will for me?
[6:14] Why did he create me? That's the issue in life because most of
[6:17] us walk around going to jobs we hate for thirty years. Why we haven't
[6:23] found out why we're here and we know it's not just to pay bills,
[6:27] so we keep searching. That's why religions are so popular. Religions they promise
[6:32] to tell you your purpose, so we run to them and all these religions.
[6:39] Instead of telling us our purpose, they give us programs and rituals to
[6:42] keep us busy. He has a purpose for your life. Leadership is born
[6:53] when purpose is discovered. What is purpose? Write is down quickly. Purpose
[6:58] is the original intent for number two. Purpose is the reason why something exists.
[7:10] Number three, purpose is the desired result that was intended by the creative
[7:15] a thing. Number four purpose is the end of a thing. In other
[7:20] words, why did the manufacturer make this thing? What is the ultimate goal
[7:26] for his making it? That's its purpose? Number four five. Rather,
[7:32] purpose is the source of meaning. If you don't know why something was created,
[7:39] you don't know the meaning for his existence, so the thing becomes in
[7:43] danger. That includes your life. If you don't know why you were created,
[7:49] why you was conceived, then your life has no meaning and your creation
[7:56] has no true essence. You don't know why you came to this planet,
[8:00] and that becomes a source of depression. People commit suicide instantly or gradually because
[8:09] they have no purpose. Why would a man, for example, suck cancerettes
[8:15] in his body every day, five times a the day they're sucking on a
[8:18] cigarette. If he discovered his purpose, he realized I gotta live, so
[8:22] he stops smoking. Why would a man drink alcohol and fry his liver cells
[8:31] every single day because he hasn't discovered a reason for having a liver, so
[8:37] he kills it. Why would you gage yourself on potato, salad and rice
[8:46] and macalone in the same plate. If you discover your purpose, he'll control
[8:52] your diet because you gotta live long to fulfill your dream. And you see
[8:54] it is anybody here. Purpose is so powerful. It chooses your friends,
[9:03] your diet, your library, your relationships, your associations, and where you
[9:09] desire to go. It controls everything, so it will purpose life is an
[9:20] experiment. A leader is born when purpose is discovered. I wanted to talk
[9:33] to you at this point about God's idea of leadership, kingdom idea of leadership.
[9:39] Some of you have a Bible, so you might want to turn to
[9:41] this. Genesis chapter one is my favorite chapter still because it's the only perfect
[9:54] chapter in the Bible. Genesis chapter one and two are the only perfect chapters
[10:01] in the Bible because in those chapters there's no sin, no no destruction,
[10:07] no broken homes, no religion. They're perfect. Man is in perfect fellowship
[10:18] with God in the God of Eden. Now, I want you to read
[10:22] verse twenty six because this is where leadership is born. God created the heavens
[10:28] on the earth. Then God turns to the man, to the earth rather,
[10:33] and he says to himself. He says, let us make man.
[10:37] That us is referring to the triunity. In other words, God's talking to
[10:41] himself let us. The word Loheim is used for God here in chapter one.
[10:48] Yloheim is actually a strange Hebrew word. It means three in one or
[10:52] one of many, many in one. It's one of the only words that
[11:00] that is a singular plural. It defies the English grammar l o him.
[11:11] Let us make man. Everybody say man. Write that down for me,
[11:16] please. Man. The Hebrew word is i sh ish. The word man
[11:22] here, write this down is plural. He's not talking about creating one single
[11:28] entity. He's creating a species called man. This is important. Please ladies
[11:41] especially listen carefully, so gossid, let us make man. That's a plural
[11:45] word, not other words. I'm gonna make an entire species. We're gonna
[11:48] call it man in our own image. The next statement says, and in
[11:56] our own likeness. Image Here it's a Hebrew word. It's kind of complicated.
[12:01] It means spirit essence. It also means moral nature. It also means
[12:11] character or characteristics. Strange word. Let us make this creature, and the
[12:16] species shall have our character, our characteristics, and our nature. They'll be
[12:24] just like Ylohim. So he had to take some of himself out and create
[12:30] this creature. You didn't come from the soil. You came out of Ylohim.
[12:39] Jehovah. Yes, in other words, the way something function is determined
[12:50] by where it came from. So if you want to know how you suppose
[12:56] to function, you should study God. Don't study creation and how does God
[13:03] function well? And my summary is that God functions by faith, but our
[13:07] faith, it's impossible to do business with God. What is faith? Faith
[13:11] is seeing things in the invisible first before they manifest, and believing in them
[13:18] before they happen. That's how God functions. That's why you were never created
[13:22] to live by sight, but by faith. When you live by sight,
[13:28] your whole body becomes sick. It's called high blood pressure, stress, frustration,
[13:35] and your cells begin to go into shop and your adrenaline becomes really confused,
[13:41] and that's why your body goes into physical trauma. It's called stress.
[13:46] Your doctors will tell you that the number one disease in Trinidad is stress.
[13:50] I guarantee it. Why you ain't built to live by what you see around
[13:56] you. Thank you for listening to Crowning Ignorantkings, where we are cultivating a
