[0:09] You're listening to Crowning Ignorant Kings, a podcast for citizens with like minds who
[0:15] love God, follow Christ, and have a desire to be an ambassador for
[0:20] the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. We are John and Charlene Donaldson, who
[0:25] are teachers building a Kingdom community. Thank you again for joining us. Now
[0:30] let's adjust our crowns. Hello everyone, we're back with our final session about
[0:45] rediscovering the Kingdom of God. And the last session I talked about divorce and
[0:53] I found it when I want us to start with that verse, it's funny.
[0:59] In Amos chapter five, verse eighteen, the Bible says, woe into
[1:07] you that desired the day of the Lord. The day of the Lord for
[1:11] those with the Bible referring is when he's coming back in power to establish the
[1:17] kingdom, the physical or the external kingdom. He says, woe to you,
[1:23] wow to you, the same word he used for reigious people who were
[1:29] looking for that day. He said, woe to you, that desired day
[1:34] of the Lord. To what end is it for you? You who desire
[1:41] it? To what end is it for you? The day of the Lord
[1:46] is darkness and no light. The day of the Lord is coming, and
[1:52] if you haven't discovered your purpose, it's going to be the darkness. That's
[1:57] why he said, what is it for you that day? You cannot focus
[2:04] on that day and focus on occupying till he comes. When you discover your
[2:12] purpose, you don't even want that day to come because it's so big when
[2:22] you discover your purpose. That's why I say woe to you who is looking
[2:24] for that day? Because when you're looking for that day, it's a sign
[2:30] you haven't discovered yet your assignment. And you are bold. You're like,
[2:39] come back, Lord, I don't have nothing to do. That's the truth.
[2:46] When you discover your assignment, you are busy doing it. You're busy.
[2:53] You don't You're like, wait, wait, wait, I haven't finished
[2:57] yet. Wait wait, I haven't finished yet. That's why he said woe
[3:00] to you, Amos five eighteen. This is your Bible, you know.
[3:10] Paul the Apostle, in one of his writings, he said, for us
[3:19] who will be leaving for that day, He thought in his mind that the
[3:24] day of the Lord was coming while he was still alive. Yet he never
[3:32] focused on that. He only talked about it when he was responding to some
[3:38] people who said the day of the Lord already passed. He said, no,
[3:42] no, no, no no. We saw in the previous sessions that
[3:47] Paul focused on teaching the kingdom, even if he was conscious that that day
[3:55] could happen in his lifetime, Yet he never focused on it. He found
[4:02] his purpose, and he said, I did my work, I finished my
[4:09] course. I'm ready to receive my towns. Tour over. Now. We
[4:20] saw the kingdom, and we saw what it means, and we're going to
[4:30] see how to enter that kingdom. We're going to see how to access that
[4:36] kingdom. That's why we're going to start to see what Paul did in Acts
[4:45] twenty eight thirty to thirty one. For two whole years, postayed there in
[4:50] his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him badly and without
[4:58] hindrance. He preached the Kingdom of God and thought about the Lord Jesus Christ.
[5:04] Someone asked me once, what does that mean? And that's what we're
[5:11] going to see today. He preached the kingdom. He explained what we saw
[5:17] in the previous thing. He's the one who says in Ephesian two, verse
[5:23] ten, we are his workmanship created in Jesus Christ. Four four means the
[5:30] purpose, the intention, the reason. We are created in Jesus Christ for
[5:36] the good works, not any good work. Those good works he prepared for
[5:46] you, not only to prepare them, but you may do them, you
[5:50] may fulfill them. That's why those who haven't discovered their purposes their works and
[6:00] are not doing them. When he comes back, he will say, you
[6:06] didn't value my sacrifice, because he paid the sacrifice to take you back to
[6:15] your work. I know someone is saying, you know were saved by grace.
[6:20] Yes, we are saved by grace, not by work for work.
[6:27] It's different. You didn't do nothing to be saved. He paid for you
[6:31] to be saved. But he says in Ephesion chapter two, verse ten,
[6:36] he saved you by grace for the works. If Jesus came to restore the
[6:53] kingdom, the kingdom Adam lost, then because Jesus is the second atom.
[7:04] In First Choretians chapter fifteen, verse forty nine to for seven says it's written,
[7:12] the first man, Adam, became a living person. The last Adam
[7:16] became a life giving spirit. The second Adam is Jesus. So Jesus came
[7:25] to restore what Adam lost. We saw Adam received the kingdom at the beginning.
[7:30] Let them have dominion, Let them have kingdom, Let them have dominion,
[7:33] leadership, sovereignty, governance, leadership, all of the words meaning dominion.
[7:43] So for us to be able to understand how to enter the kingdom,
[7:46] we have first to understand what happened that made us lose the kingdom. I'm
[7:55] talking about the kingdom within us, because when we lost the kingdom within us,
[8:00] we lost the kingdom manifested because He gave us first his character, his
[8:07] kingdom within, so we can have the kingdom outside, so you can have
[8:11] leadership. How do I know that when Noah came out of the ark,
[8:20] the blessing he received had no dominion in it. The dominion was left because
[8:28] he was not restored. Yet God blessed them, be fruitful, multiply.
[8:35] He stops there when Noah came out of the eark. Someone can someone find
[8:46] us that thing? Because in the in the beginning, when God blessed Adam
[8:52] and Eve, he said, go multiply, be fruitful, multiply and dominant.
[9:01] M When Noah came out of the earth, the blessing he received from
[9:09] God has no dominion in it, has no rulership in it because it was
[9:15] already lost. That is your homework. Go and find when Noah came out
[9:22] of the earth the blessing he received Genesis nine one. Genesis nine one says
[9:35] nine one, and God blessed Noah and his sons and sent unto them.
[9:43] Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth. They had already lost dominion,
[9:54] kingdom, rulership, survanning power over the earth. When Jesus came back,
[10:03] he said, repent, change your mind because what he lost his back,
[10:13] what you lost, what Noah didn't see. That's why the Bible says
[10:18] all the profit of the Old Covenant were looking at this day and they wished
[10:24] to live in it because what they lost. That's why when you preach the
[10:30] kingdom seven beyond on the earth forced their way in it. Because everyone is
[10:35] looking for one thing, what we lost. Everyone is looking to fulfill his
[10:41] life. Most of the people don't know what they're looking for. People like
[10:50] wik Knew Houston. She was a singer. She did so much that she
[10:54] was depressed. I cannot judge because I don't know why she was created,
[11:03] But based on what I saw, when you fulfill your purpose, you have
[11:09] life in abundance. You're not depressed, Michael Jackson. He had all you,
[11:16] killing yourself to get and yet he died because he couldn't sleep. I
[11:26] leave it there. Genesis chapter two was fifteen to seventeen says the Lord God
[11:33] took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and
[11:37] keep it, to walk it and keep it, to have dominion, to
[11:43] have management. We saw it, to have leadership. Your assignment will be
[11:50] in working and keeping, producing and managing. And the Lord God commanded the
[11:58] man said, you may surely it of every three of the garden, but
[12:05] of the three of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat,
[12:09] for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die.
[12:16] The dominion the kingdom mandate was linked to the fact that man, the human
[12:26] beings didn't have access to decision making. Let me correct myself. For human
[12:39] beings to have dominion to walk and keep the garden, to fulfill their assignment,
[12:46] God said, will you will not touch the three of knowledge, not
[12:52] of evil, but good and evil. That means human beings were not supposed
[13:00] to know what to do themselves. They were supposed to depend on God,
[13:05] on direction. That's why the place you find your purpose is in God's mind.
[13:13] First. Yes, when he created you, he created you for your
[13:18] purpose. So your purpose is there. That's why the Kingdom is within you,
[13:22] but he's the one to activate it, he told. Jesus told the
[13:26] Pharicees the Kingdom is within you, but you need the Holy Spirit to bring
[13:33] it out. So man was not created to know by himself what was good
[13:41] or evil. He didn't have access to that. That's why when Jesus came,
[13:48] you know, Jesus came and did what Adam didn't want to do.
[13:56] In John eight twenty eight says, so Jesus said, when the son of
[14:00] Man has been lifted up by you, then it will be clear to you
[14:05] who who am I. Jesus is talking and that I do nothing myself but
[14:13] say as the Father gave me teaching. Jesus didn't know what was good or
[14:18] evil. The Father told him was good or evil. He who sent me
[14:26] is with me. He has not gone from me, because at all times
[14:33] I do the things which are pleasing to him. Adam and Eve didn't want
[14:39] that. That's why when Jesus came, said, I don't do nothing by
[14:46] myself you asked me to hear you. If he didn't tell me, I'm
[14:54] not going to heal you. They lost the kingdom because they didn't want to
[15:03] depend on God. They wanted to control their lives. Maybe you're tired because
[15:11] you've been controlling your lives for so long and you know it's a mess.
[15:16] Bring it back. You are not created to take care of your life.
[15:20] Not to take care of your life, but to rule your life. Jesus
[15:30] didn't rule his life. That's why at last he said, it's hard.
[15:35] I wish you could change your mind, but not my will. But you
[15:41] will be done. That's what Adam didn't want. That was the temptation.
[15:50] The devil came and told him. You know, you can do what God
[15:56] does. You can decide yourself what's good is evil. That is the image.
[16:00] It was not about the fruit. It was about what the fruit represented.
[16:07] It represented independence. The colony didn't want to depend on the home government.
[16:22] Do you know where I'm coming from In Canada, even if it's not
[16:27] a real colony, we still when our parliament signed a law, the Queen
[16:33] from England has to sign, so the law is past. We have a
[16:41] governor who represents the queen, the general governor. Maybe you're listening to me
[16:48] Hi. He's the one who signs the bills in the name of the queen.
[17:00] When a government decides to do their staff, they declare independence. That's
[17:07] what happens in Genesis. So Jesus when he came the second Adam, he
[17:11] didn't do nothing by himself, only what he sow. The Father tolds him.
[17:22] That's why to enter the kingdom, the Bible says in Romans ten nine,
[17:29] because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is lord. Lord is
[17:36] curious owner, the one who owns you, the one who you depend,
[17:44] whom you depend, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the
[17:48] dead, you will be saved. You will come back. That's why the
[17:56] apostles will preach the kingdom and teach about Jesus, because because Jesus is the
[18:02] one to bring you back. When you confess with your mom that his Lord,
[18:08] not savior. I don't know where you get it from. Many people
[18:15] they say Jesus is my savior. No, the Bible says, you confess
[18:19] him as the Lord, then he becomes your savior. He only saves you
[18:26] when he becomes your lord. Lord means honor. Does he own you?
[18:36] That's why he said, why do you call me lord? Lord? But
[18:38] don't do what I say? You cannot call me lord. If I owns
[18:45] you. Then at the same time you decide what's good what is evil.
[18:49] You make your own decisions. Is he a lord? That's why when you
[18:59] preach the kingdom, then you have to talk about him only after you preach
[19:03] the kingdom, because he's He said I'm the way, I'm the door.
[19:11] He never said I'm the destination. He never said it. He said I'm
[19:18] the truth, the way, and life, the way to the kingdom.
[19:29] That's why he sent us to teach the kingdom. To preach the kingdom,
[19:33] and then when people are interested in that kingdom, we open immigration office.
[19:38] We talk about Jesus. When you confess. The word confess is the world's
[19:52] the Greek word or mologael to acknowledge. You don't make Jesus lord his lord.
[20:02] Either you confess him or not. You don't make him lord. That's
[20:07] food. I don't know where you get it from. You acknowledge him,
[20:11] to acknowledge it. Not to make him lord is to accept his lordship over
[20:15] your life. He doesn't impose himself to you. He will at the end,
[20:21] and even at the end, he will never impose himself to nobody.
[20:25] He will say, those who acknowledge me as Lord, And to acknowledge him
[20:30] is not enough, because you cannot acknowledge him and not do his will.
[20:37] Only those who acknowledge him will stay in his new Earth and new Heaven.
[20:48] That's why to be saved, you have to acknowledge him, to confess with
[20:53] your mouth that his lord, and let him be lord. Jesus is either
[21:02] Lord of all or his non lord at all. He's either Lord over all
[21:11] or he's not lord at all. Peter was teaching the first time, and
[21:23] people heard, Okay, let me correct something. Most of the reigious people
[21:27] don't understand. They say, you said we have to preach the kingdom.
[21:32] But Peter at the first time, he didn't preach the kingdom, and three
[21:36] thousand people were saved. We have to go back to the historical time when
[21:42] Peter was teaching. Jesus just died some days maybe yeah, fifty days,
[21:53] because the Pentecost was fifty days after the resurction, so everyone knew about this
[22:00] Jesus. The issue Peter was addressing was to prove that Jesus was the one.
[22:11] You remember, Israelites knew in Jesus's time that there was a messiah to
[22:18] come, and Moses said, when he comes, listened to him. So
[22:23] the argument of Peter was to prove that Jesus was the one. We will
[22:30] read that in Acts, chapter two, verse thirty Let us read this because
[22:41] many people I account, they say, I understand you saying we have to
[22:45] teach the kingdom. But Peter at the first message he didn't teach the kingdom
[22:49] because they don't understand what was the purpose of his talking. In Ads,
[22:56] chapter two, verse thirty six says, they afforded all the house of Israel
[23:03] as sudedly that God had made the same Jesus, whom you have crucified both
[23:11] Lord and Christ. His argument was that if Jesus you acknowledge it as Lord,
[23:21] what did he say he teach the kingdom. The argument was, if
[23:27] he's the one, then we have to accept what he taught. That's why
[23:33] he didn't have to teach the kingdom. His argument was, he came,
[23:37] he preached the kingdom. He didn't recognize him, but I'm proving to you
[23:41] he was the one. He was the one. He said he was.
[23:45] Then if he's the one he said he was, we better accept what he
[23:49] said. That's why he didn't have to teach the kingdom. His argument was
[23:55] to prove the point. Now. When they heard this, they were pricked
[24:00] in their heart and said, Interpeter, the rest of the apostles men and
[24:06] Britain, what shall we do. That's when he said, repent. Change
[24:11] your mind, which mind, the mind set of ruling your own life.
[24:18] Surrender, change the mind Adam Hurd at the beginning when he wanted to know
[24:26] what was good and evil, when he do cred independence, change your mind
[24:30] and come back to depend on the King. Change your mind and declare and
[24:37] independence. Did you credit independence? Remove that? Change that mindset. Don't
[24:45] try to rule your life. Repent, change your mind, and each one
[24:51] of you be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sin,
[24:56] and you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. That's the immigration right
[25:03] there. The Kingdom is present, is not food, and all of that
[25:08] is justice, peace, joy in the Holy Spirit. When you change your
[25:21] mind and you want to depend on God and you get baptized, then the
[25:26] Holy Spirit comes to manifest the Kingdom within you. That's why you preach the
[25:36] kingdom and you teach about Jesus. Region teach about Jesus. I don't know
[25:45] for what if someone is not interested, you didn't You don't even have a
[25:53] country. What are you going to talk about immigration? He said, repent,
[26:03] repent, We know it's changed your mind. This is not our point
[26:07] today. We understand we change when when someone tells you to repent, and
[26:12] he didn't, you don't know from which mindset to what mindset? He didn't
[26:18] really help you, did he? If I tell you change your mind,
[26:22] man, that means there is a mindset I don't want you to keep,
[26:26] and there is a new mindset I want you to have. So if you
[26:30] don't understand even to repent from what you didn't understand. That's why when you
[26:37] understand the kingdom, then you know from what mindset to what mindset, from
[26:41] the mindset of ruling your life to the mindset of him louring your life.
[26:48] Then if to change your mind is the point, he said, you do
[26:52] this and then you get baptized. And today we're going to see what it
[26:56] means to get baptized. But is in the times of Jesus, notice Jesus
[27:03] didn't come up with it. Join the baptist himself didn't create that custom.
[27:11] He didn't come up with it. It was everybody was baptizing. We're going
[27:18] to see what the baptism means. And only you get baptized when you repent
[27:25] from the old mindset. After to understand the kingdom, then that's when we
[27:30] can talk about baptism. And we're going to understand why baptisms in these times
[27:41] of Jesus was a sign of submission to a master teacher. It was a
[27:47] sign. It was a sign that you joined a school of thought, a
[27:52] theology. In the times of Jesus, someone who had a school of thought
[28:00] will be baptize people to show publicly that this person submitted to my teaching.
[28:11] Sadducees baptized, Pharisees baptized, so Creatives baptized. All of these Greek thinkers
[28:19] baptized people. When you join his school of thought, when you join his
[28:26] theology, when you join his classes. Disciple means students. When you become
[28:32] his disciple, he will baptize you. Baptism in the times of Jesus was
[28:40] initiation or identification to a school of thought, and baptism was done publicly.
[28:49] It was a ceremony. Everybody will see, so they will know all this
[28:53] is the disciple of this school of thought. That's why when Jesus came to
[28:59] get tied, he was a sign of a submission to a master teacher.
[29:04] He was a signed to join a school of thought, a theology. He
[29:08] was in an initiation and identification with the school of thought, and he did
[29:15] it openly in public. He came to join the Baptist who started by teaching
[29:26] the kingdom. He's the one who taught for the first time the kingdom John
[29:32] the Baptists started saying repent for the Kingdom of God is at head. He
[29:42] was the one who started that school of thought. Jesus didn't start with that.
[29:48] So when he came to get baptized by him join the partists said you
[29:56] were It's not me who is going to baptize you, because you are bigger,
[30:07] you're more annointed, and what you're bringing is more important than what I
[30:14] have. But because baptism was to join a school of thought, he was
[30:25] not going to do that way. He was going to He said, for
[30:33] us to keep the righteousness, to follow the righteousness, to do what is
[30:37] right. Because Jesus didn't plan to bring to come up with a new school
[30:45] of thought. The school of thought of John was the school he wanted to
[30:51] bring. Do you understand me. When Jesus came to get baptized, John
[31:03] the Baptists had already a school of the kingdom. To change the input,
[31:10] the remo is there. When Jesus came to join the Baptist John the Baptist
[31:18] had already a school of thought. He had it, and that school of
[31:23] thought was not other than the kingdom. So when he came on the scene,
[31:34] he said, you cannot baptize me. You know you are the one
[31:41] who needs to baptize me. I would like to join your school of thought.
[31:45] Because John the Batist said, he's so big I cannot even touch his
[31:51] sandals. Jesus said, no, I'm not bringing any new school of thought.
[31:59] I'm coming to join your school of thought. Do you know what it
[32:01] would happen in those days when a master teacher will be going to the part
[32:07] who will choose one of his top students and handle to him the school of
[32:14] thought and then go. So when John the Baptist saw Jesus coming, he
[32:23] thought he was bringing a new school of thought. He said, listen,
[32:27] I'm going to close my school. I will join yours. Jesus said no.
[32:34] When he submitted and get baptized as a sign of submission to the master
[32:38] teacher and the teaching John the Baptist understood what was going on. That's why
[32:45] he said, I have to decrease so it can increase. He's not bringing
[32:52] a new school of thought. He's joining my school. But because he's bigger
[32:55] than me, I have to handle the school to him. That's why people
[33:02] came to join the Batists and said, the one who was with you is
[33:07] baptizing more people than you. That's when he said, hey, he have
[33:12] to increase. I have to decrease. He handed the school to him.
[33:19] That's why many people say John de Baptists doubted when he sent to Jesus to
[33:25] ask is you the one that was not a doubt. John de Batists had
[33:32] to make sure I can die because he knew the one he was supposed to
[33:38] handle, to handle the school of thought was the one who was going to
[33:43] do what. Jesus really didn't say. I'm the one, he said,
[33:46] go tell John the Batist. The blind a recovering the side and the good
[33:54] news if being preached to the poor. So John, you finished your work.
[34:06] I can handle this, joined the batsy said thank you. I can
[34:08] die now, because he said, if he's the one you have to increase,
[34:16] I have to decrease. Joined the baptisism, and doubt nothing. That
[34:21] was a point to make sure he was done, finished, not him his
[34:27] task to present the one. He said, what was prophesied is being carried
[34:35] on. He joined his school of thought. Baptism was a sign that you
[34:44] joined a school of thought. That's why in Acts nineteen, verse three to
[34:47] nine. That's why he said. Paul is saying something. Acts Chapter nineteen,
[34:58] verse three to four. So Paul said into what then, were you
[35:01] baptized into? What? Into? What were you baptized into? Johnny's baptism?
[35:10] They replied, Paul said, John baptist with the baptism of repentance,
[35:15] telling the people to believe in the one who was coming after him. What
[35:22] school of thought did you join, they said, John, Oh, Paul
[35:24] said, you missed it. John came and handled the school to someone else.
[35:31] He came just to introduce the school of thought, and he said,
[35:35] my school of thought is kindergarten I'm preparing you to go to the next level.
[35:42] So the ones who stacked joined the Baptist baptized people who joined his school.
[35:51] When Jesus came, he baptized those who were baptized by John. They
[36:01] replied, John baptized, and then on the next verse they accepted they were
[36:09] baptized already, but with not the right school of thought. When they understood,
[36:17] they said, whoa, whoa, there is another school of thought.
[36:21] We didn't know about that. The question was have you received the Holy Spirit
[36:25] when you believed? That was the question. On verse two. They said,
[36:30] we didn't even know about that Holy Spirit thing? What is that?
[36:32] Oh, so you don't know about that? He said, Oh, these
[36:37] people are not in a school of thought because this is the basic this is
[36:43] what we teach. So they don't know. He said, ah, what
[36:49] campus? What university did you do? Because the main topic in our school
[36:57] of thought you don't know nothing about. When he said into what then were
[37:02] you baptized? He was referring to knowledge and understanding. Because they said we
[37:08] don't know about the Holy Spirit. He said, wait a minute. If
[37:13] you don't know about the Holy Spirit, you're not in our school of thought.
[37:15] Because the Holy Spirit is the basic And they said, no, we
[37:20] just start with the old school. He said, oh, Jesus Christ,
[37:23] the school of thought you're referring to is expired. We have a new school
[37:30] of thought. On verse five, Acts Chapter nineteen, verse five, they
[37:36] get baptized, and right after that when they joined that school of thought,
[37:40] the use holy Spirit came in Romans chapter six, verse three to four.
[37:51] Or do you not know that as many as were baptized into Christ, Jesus
[37:57] were baptized into his death. Jesus came at the right time. The Bible
[38:02] says, when the time was right, God sent his son. So the
[38:07] baptism was already being practiced in those times, but it had another meaning.
[38:20] The meaning was, when you get baptized into Jesus Christ, you are baptized
[38:25] in his death. By the way being baptized, it's not to put some
[38:30] word on you. It to be emerged, which means your whole body is
[38:36] submitted. It's a sign we're going to see the worse that talks about it.
[38:45] Therefore, we have been buried with him through baptism into death in order
[38:51] that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the growth of the Father,
[38:55] so we too, may leave a new life when you get baptized.
[39:07] When you join this school of thought, it gives you a new life.
[39:15] Frost Peter, chapter three, verse twenty says, after they were disobedient,
[39:21] he's talking about Israelites long ago, long ago, when God patiently waited in
[39:28] the days of Noah, as a knack was being constructed in the arc,
[39:34] a few, that is, eight souls were delivered through water. Watch him
[39:39] now, he said, in the days of Noah, them being saved through
[39:47] the earth through the water was chapter one. These prefigured baptism. God saves
[40:01] eight people through water, and it prefrigered baptism, which now saves you,
[40:08] not the washing of physical dirt, but the pledge, a pledge of a
[40:19] good conscience to God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. A pledge is a
[40:25] commitment. We're coming back to what was a custom in Jesus's days. The
[40:35] baptism is a pledge of a good conscience to God. When you get baptized,
[40:42] when you believe and confess, it's a private thing you believe in your
[40:45] heart. Nobody sees it. He says, I don't wonder you have to
[40:52] pledge allegance to the King. It's a pledge a good conscience to God.
[41:04] It's a commitment, and it's done publicly. I commit to this school of
[41:13] thought. Which school of thought? Submission to God is will, Baptism is
[41:27] only is only acknowledge. When you understood the school of thought. You cannot
[41:44] join something you didn't understand. That's why you cannot get baptized without the proper
[41:52] understanding of the Kingdom message. If you pledge to something you didn't understand,
[42:02] your commitment means nothing. That's why they will preach first the Kingdom message.
[42:10] Talk about the king and explain what is being done. To accept, to
[42:17] confess, to acknowledge the kingship, the lordship of Jesus. Then pledge openly,
[42:30] make a commitment. I want to follow this man, not to follow
[42:35] him, to submit to him, to accept that he will own you.
[42:44] Then do your will. As David said, you didn't want no sacrifice.
[42:52] You formed and created me a body so I can do your will, so
[43:00] I can fulfill your purpose. That's why God said David, he is the
[43:07] man after my heart. If you were baptized without the proper understanding, there's
[43:19] people in acts. They were baptized with the old school of thought, and
[43:27] nothing happened because they were baptized. It was right, but that school was
[43:38] expired. When they understood they get baptized, they get they committed. Baptism
[43:53] is not it's not what many storagious people made it. It's a commitment you
[44:02] commit to submit to a message. That's why I pos sayed, I didn't
[44:10] You were not baptizing my name. You didn't join. I don't have no
[44:15] school of thought. I don't have no message. That's why when we baptize
[44:21] people, even if I may do it, you're not joining my school of
[44:24] thought. Oh some people joined at a school of thought. You can say,
[44:30] I but as you in Jesus' name, if you didn't teach me what
[44:34] Jesus thought, you didn't batize me in his name, because because I didn't
[44:44] join his school of thought, what was his school of thought? The kingdom?
[44:51] Don't get angry on me. Go read your Bible. Please, he
[44:55] started repent. The Kingdom of God is here. How can you commit to
[45:01] something you didn't hear about. You don't even know what it is. How
[45:07] can you commit to that thing? And Peter says baptism is a pledge of
[45:15] a good conscience, how can you be conscious consciousness about something you don't even
[45:21] know. This is frost Peter chapter three, verse twenty one, and this
[45:28] prefigured baptism, which now saves you with What was he referring to? He
[45:32] was referring to what happened to Noah and his kids. There is another verse
[45:42] that says that Israelites were baptized into Moses when they went they went through the
[45:49] red sea. What does that mean It because the water is what happens when
[45:55] you get born for the first time, a baby comes out of water.
[46:06] That's why for God to give you a new life. We saw it,
[46:10] we saw when we get baptizing God. It says in Romans chapter six,
[46:17] verse four, it says, or don't you know that as many as were
[46:23] baptized into Christ, Jesus were baptized into his death. Therefore we have been
[46:29] buried with him through baptism into dearth in order that just as Christ was raised
[46:36] from the dead through the growth of the Father, so we two may live
[46:40] a new life. The baptism is the figure of what happened when you get
[46:50] born for the first time. That's why he said, he told the guy
[46:53] who came to him three am in the morning, asking about the kingdom.
[46:59] He said, if who are not born again, born again for the second
[47:02] time, how were you born for the first time through water? The second
[47:07] time is the same thing. The guy said, I don't get it.
[47:12] Am I going back in my mummy's home? He said, you don't really
[47:15] understand those things. Because himself were baptizing people enjoining his school of thought,
[47:24] He said, you don't understand those things. Those things are there too,
[47:29] he said, if I'm explaining you the earth three things, he said,
[47:31] this is not spiritual. This is what you do on their basis. You
[47:37] don't understand that when you get baptized, you get baptized because you accepted.
[47:50] It's a pledge of a good conscience to God, a pledge of a good
[47:55] conscience. How can you have a good conscience if you haven't heard the right
[48:01] message? Baptism is a pledge, is a commitment to submit to the message,
[48:22] the only gospel that Jesus preached. If you understand this message, find
[48:30] someone who can help you and baptize you. Not because you're joining his school
[48:37] of thought, but because you want to join this school of thought, and
[48:40] you're pledging. You're committing yourself to this school of thought, and when he
[48:49] comes back, we will go and reign forever. Thank you very much.
[49:00] You have questions, oh Jesus. For those who are on live streaming,
[49:08] send in your questions. We'll read them and try to respond at the best
[49:14] of our ability. So you don't just get baptized because you hear the message
[49:28] of the kingdom. But you do it because you're willing. You are committing,
[49:37] committing your life the good conscious. Nobody forces you. It's a good
[49:42] conscious. I'm pledging my life to this king. So it's very different from
[49:47] you know, anything else. Yes, I'm reading from the Bible. I
[49:53] didn't come up with that thing. Jesus came when everything needed for what he
[50:02] wanted was present and already being practiced. But he gave a meaning. Everything
[50:09] was there for his meaning. But first you have to have the understanding of
[50:19] what you're committing to. Yes, are you going to commit to something you
[50:22] didn't understand? Sometimes when you sign a contract, you say, whoa,
[50:28] whoa, whoa, This was not what we said. The contract is void.
[50:34] If you didn't agree on the terms of the contract, it has no
[50:37] meaning. It happens a lot like someone you signed the contract. Wait a
[50:47] minute. This is not what I meant. This was not the terms of
[50:52] our contract. What do we do? You either adjust your contract or you
[50:57] avoid it so you cannot come admit to something God didn't intend you to to
[51:04] commit to. When you get baptized in Jesus's name, you commit you pledged
[51:13] yourself to his school of thought, not something else. If I beatized you
[51:19] in my school of thought, then you were batazed in my name, not
[51:22] in Jesus' name. So then before, when I have been baptized before,
[51:37] in my understanding, I was being baptized because I was admitting that I had
[51:44] sin. And when you go under the water, it's like the washing of
[51:49] sins, you come back out. And you made that pledge to follow Christ.
[51:53] That's what I had understood when I got baptized before. Since that actually
[52:00] is not the motive for baptism, so to speak. And the motive now
[52:07] is that you accept Jesus's gospel, which was the Kingdom. That is what
[52:17] you're committing to now is to make him your lord, the ruler of your
[52:22] life. All complete submission goes to him when you submerge out of the water.
[52:28] That's why baptism is to emerge your body. The whole cell of your
[52:35] body is under him when you come out. I pledge allegiance to you,
[52:42] the only king of my life. So does that mean now that I need
[52:46] to get rebaptized. That's your decision. If if you want pledge on this
[52:55] message, you have no choice. Yeah. So the one before void because
[53:00] all the terms were not just reading my Bible. I don't want to talk
[53:07] to nobody. I'm just giving life. There wasn't even fine print on that
[53:13] contract. It was just not even there, right, basically interesting anybody else
[53:24] I wanted. Okay, I'll just ask question my wife is asking, and
[53:30] I guess. I guess in religion, what is really taught or what they
[53:39] what they're saying or understanding at the time, which is the baptism was like
[53:47] cleansing you of your sins some sort. So you went to the baptism as
[53:55] an acknowledgment that your sins were forgiven. So that was a wrong motive for
[54:02] a baptism because you weren't submitting to the to your original message by Jesus that
[54:08] Jesus turn mm hmm is right question, No, it's the Bible is clear.
[54:17] Baptism is a pledge of good conscience to God. If they say Noah
[54:28] was a prefiguration of what the baptism was. What was it? They submitted
[54:38] to what God told them, they accepted it, and when they came out
[54:43] of that water, what prefigured the thing? They are ready to do His
[54:49] will. It's a pledge. It's you. You, you pledge allegiance.
[54:53] Because you have to understand the historical thing of the baptism was when you joined
[55:02] a school of thought and every verses you see, they aligned themselves with that.
[55:13] You know, Jesus didn't invent nothing. A classia existed, what we
[55:16] call church. It was the cabinet of that time. That's why he said,
[55:22] I will build my classier, I will build my cabinet, I will
[55:27] build my church. So everything was prison. That's why it was the right
[55:30] time. Everything he needed to use to explain in the first session, I
[55:38] explained the concepts, the concepts, all of the concepts he wanted to use
[55:45] were already in place. Everything was prison. He just came and gave those
[55:52] precepts and concepts and new meaning without departing from the original idea of the thing.
[56:08] So the thief on across when they were all crucified, did he technically
[56:15] get baptised because he submitted to Christ last minute, even though he didn't get
[56:19] some mercy and water. Baptism is to commit to fulfigure his purpose. That
[56:27] guy didn't need that, he was dying. You commit, you pledge to
[56:34] do what the king no message. We saw what it was the king of
[56:37] message to discover a purpose and fulfill it. He didn't have that, he
[56:42] didn't have to both that someone on his dearthbed doesn't need to be battles because
[56:49] he's not committing to no work. We are his workmanship created in Jesus Christ
[56:57] to do good works. When you get baptized, you are committing yourself to
[57:00] these works. Lord, that was it, because you know it's it's not
[57:12] God is trying to to to complicate, to get things complicated. No,
[57:16] it's it's some practical things. You just want to say about that point.
[57:23] That's all mercy, mercy. So sometimes we do things in the reigious thinking
[57:35] things that have no meaning, and we're like, we don't even understand what's
[57:43] going on. Everything in the Bible has a meaning, and the Bible is
[57:50] not complicated. But only when you understand the kingdom concepts, then everything makes
[57:55] sense. I was blessed enough to learn from the best. My mentor,
[58:06] doctor Mars Monau, will explain he went extra and by the Holy Spirit explained
[58:15] to us all of this. It made sense. I said, Wow,
[58:22] when you understand, you commit now to something you understood. Do you have
[58:31] any questions on the internet, what does it say? It's a pledge,
[58:46] it's a commitment. I'm reading what the Bible says. It shows that you're
[58:55] coming to a newness of life. You know, religious people focus is on
[59:00] your past. The kingdom focuses of your future. Reigious people are seen consciousness,
[59:10] kingdom citizens, their sins, they are holy. Sometimes they may seek
[59:16] this is not what they focus on. You repent, repent, change your
[59:22] mind, you confess. It's not goal and say what you did is to
[59:29] acknowledge I did wrong. Totally different concepts things. So when the Bible says
[59:46] to confess your sins one to another, that's actually saying to acknowledge to one
[59:51] another that you have done wrong and that you have to change them. That's
[59:54] all not complicated. That's confess is not yes, confession has You are acknowledge
[1:00:06] by saying something, But it's not going and morning, Oh no, okay,
[1:00:12] this is how it works. The hot spirit is the one who who
[1:00:17] shows you what you did wrong, then what you do is yes, hort
[1:00:22] Spirit, I did wrong. I changed my mind just for just to get
[1:00:34] this out. It has nothing to do with basically coming in and putting my
[1:00:40] dirty laundry out there. It just has to do with just saying, hey,
[1:00:45] I acknowledge you know what I'm saying is because like in sometimes the concept
[1:00:50] of confessing your sins is at least the way that I've experienced it or the
[1:00:53] way that I that I've been taught in religion is you know, a confess
[1:00:58] your sin, telling me everything that you've done so that now that I know
[1:01:01] everything you did, I can tell you you can you're forgiven or something like
[1:01:04] that. But it has nothing to do with me saying, hey, you
[1:01:07] know what I did this, I did this, I did this this that.
[1:01:08] It's just basically coming yeah, I'm a sinner. I manface is from
[1:01:15] the root world on Monogael. When I was coming from Europe coming you know
[1:01:21] when I was when when I went to Europe for the first time, there
[1:01:25] is an mologation office where I I I dropped my degree from Africa and they
[1:01:37] mologued you said that they did. They did an morogation process to acknowledge my
[1:01:47] degree on monoguel, that's what I confessed me. To confess your sin is
[1:01:54] when the hornest fit point point on them, you acknowledge it. To confess
[1:02:01] to one another is when you did wrong to me. The Bible does say
[1:02:06] when someone did wrong to you, go to him. He said, confess.
[1:02:09] You're seeing one another so you can pray for one another and be healed.
[1:02:14] When I come to you and say, brother, you did wrong to
[1:02:17] me, you accept. Do you know what I'm supposed to do? What
[1:02:22] Job did to his friends. I pray for you so God restore you.
[1:02:40] And that's when somebody hurts you. Right, Yes, it's not so it's
[1:02:49] not just necessarily okay, forgive and forget. Not necessarily. It doesn't work
[1:02:55] like that. It doesn't right. Confection to be forgiven is to acknowledge your
[1:03:00] fault. First. When God, when David sinned, God send a prophet
[1:03:09] and Jesus need cleansed. Oh yeah, say that. The question is did
[1:03:24] Jesus need his sins cleansed? And the answerest Now he gets batized. So
[1:03:30] it has nothing to do has nothing to do with sin. He had no
[1:03:35] sins. Thank you, Chris, thank you. That's a good point.
[1:03:39] Not the purpose of baptism. The purpose of Baddhism is to join a school
[1:03:45] of thought. Thank you very much. That was a very good point.
[1:03:51] I didn't we were not going to think about that. You see, Jesus
[1:03:54] was batized. The point was not the problem. Do you know where people
[1:04:00] get problems from. It's because joining the batists message was depart from your sins.
[1:04:05] So they think to get baptized is that The point was not the scene.
[1:04:12] The point was to join the message. That's when that's where people get
[1:04:17] lost because they didn't get the full understanding of the baptism. They thought the
[1:04:23] baptism was to repent, to get out of scene, because that was the
[1:04:29] message of him. But that was not the point of the baptism. Yes,
[1:04:38] when you join a school of thought, you submit authority. So when
[1:04:43] you go to someone that's why Dredge the Baty said no, no, no,
[1:04:45] no, I'm the one who is going to submit to your authority.
[1:04:49] Submitting to authority first of all, is to accept his message, not to
[1:04:57] challenge his message. This I said, it's very it's e three things.
[1:05:05] It's not spiritual because when the guy was like, I don't understand being born
[1:05:12] again, he said, if you don't understand every things, if I talk
[1:05:15] about heaven and things, are you going to get anything. Do we have
[1:05:21] any question on the internet, anybody who has a question, anybody who has
[1:05:32] a comment. Can someone just give us a comment, just to give us
[1:05:38] an over just I think I'm speaking for myself, but I probably am speaking
[1:05:47] for others when I say because we didn't understand the original intent of baptism,
[1:05:54] that's where we got lost in the reason for it. Because everyone I'm imagining
[1:06:02] here and maybe on the Internet, is saying to themselves what we thought it
[1:06:09] was for the remission of sins and so that we die to ourselves and we
[1:06:14] rise again in Christ. But that's not the original intent in those times of
[1:06:23] baptism. It's not Jesus baptists in the days of Jesus. For the sake,
[1:06:43] for those who are on the internet, you will miss it. But
[1:06:45] for those who are present here tomorrow, we will give a chance, an
[1:06:48] opportunity. For those who wants to submit, to pledge to this message,
[1:06:57] we give them an opportunity to get baptized. The points the baptism in the
[1:07:04] times of Jesus was sign of submission to a master teacher, submission to an
[1:07:10] authority, that is point number one, to join a school of thought or
[1:07:15] a theology, initiation and identification with the school of thought. Submission to a
[1:07:29] master teacher, submission joining his school of thought, and initiation and identification.
[1:07:38] I want to be identified today. When you join a school, they give
[1:07:43] you a badge. That is what is being done. When I joined Canada,
[1:07:48] I pledged allegences to the Queen and laws. They gave me a certificate
[1:07:56] of my citizenship. That's what baptism is all about. So for those who
[1:08:05] are present here tomorrow, if you want to get to pledge, to commit
[1:08:13] yourself to this message. We spend these few days with discovering what the kingdom
[1:08:18] is. We didn't cover all, but at least you have an idea,
[1:08:24] a little small idea of what the kingdom is about. This message about the
[1:08:29] master teacher. It's not me, it's not trist it's not nobody. The
[1:08:31] master teaches Jesus. We don't teach about Jesus. We teach what he taught,
[1:08:41] so we continue his school of thought. When you join a school of
[1:08:46] thought, you don't join, you are not joining a person. You're joining
[1:08:49] a message, a theology. When you go to high school, it's not
[1:08:57] about the headmaster, it's about the school. Tomorrow, for those who want
[1:09:04] to get baptized, you go in the forolio. You feel in the form
[1:09:12] the least, you just go to the immigration office and the sign up.
[1:09:20] Thank you very much. For those who joined us from the internet. Tomorrow,
[1:09:25] live streaming start at ten am in the morning. Don't miss it and
[1:09:30] good night. Go and choin it and please send us your comments what you
[1:09:36] learned in these few days, and the videos are going to be posted shortly,
[1:09:48] so we will see you tomorrow. And may God bless you commit yourself
[1:09:54] to this kingdom. It's the only message Jesus priach and the only message he
[1:09:59] will and wait for to come back. Thank you for listening to Crowning Ignorant
