[0:09] Speaker 1: You're listening to Crowning Ignorant Kings, a podcast for citizens
[0:14] Speaker 1: with like minds who love God, follow Christ, and have
[0:17] Speaker 1: a desire to be an ambassador for the Kingdom of
[0:21] Speaker 1: Heaven on earth. We are John and Charlene Donaldson, who
[0:25] Speaker 1: are teachers building a kingdom community. Thank you again for
[0:29] Speaker 1: joining us. Now let's sudjust our crowns.
[0:40] Speaker 2: The ability to change the world is in your hands.
[0:47] Speaker 2: But I want to say this very quickly. Everything is
[0:51] Speaker 2: determined by leadership. Leadership determines what happens wherever you are
[1:02] Speaker 2: right now, someone led you there. We are products of leadership.
[1:13] Speaker 2: He has a statement made by the greatest man that
[1:15] Speaker 2: ever lived on earth. He said, if the blind lead
[1:25] Speaker 2: the blind, they both fall into the ditch. What amazes
[1:33] Speaker 2: me is his concept is almost paradoxical. He says, if
[1:38] Speaker 2: the blind lead, which means it's possible for someone to
[1:41] Speaker 2: be a leadership and be blind. Not everybody with a
[1:48] Speaker 2: title has a vision, not everybody in a position of
[1:55] Speaker 2: power of sight. So don't confuse titles and position with vision.
[2:07] Speaker 2: He says the blind lead the blind, that both fall
[2:09] Speaker 2: into the ditch, which means that followers are no better
[2:13] Speaker 2: than the leaders. And you cannot lead people any farther
[2:20] Speaker 2: than you've gone yourself. And wherever ditch you find yourself in,
[2:27] Speaker 2: someone led you there. That's what he's saying. Nothing changes
[2:36] Speaker 2: without leadership. Write that down. Nothing happens without leadership, Nothing
[2:46] Speaker 2: is corrected without leadership, nothing is improved without leadership. Nothing
[2:57] Speaker 2: progresses without leadership. Leadership is the key. And this is
[3:06] Speaker 2: why when God wanted to change the world, he didn't
[3:09] Speaker 2: send a committee, Thank you, Lord, He sent one person,
[3:20] Speaker 2: and that person was a leader. I want to talk
[3:30] Speaker 2: to you about a couple of leaders that changed my life.
[3:36] Speaker 2: You'll be surprised who they are. They're actually animals. The
[3:42] Speaker 2: only two animals that God identified himself with is the
[3:49] Speaker 2: eagle write it down and the liar, the only two
[3:55] Speaker 2: animals God identified himself with. Leaders Why did God identify
[4:03] Speaker 2: himself with these two animals because he created them. He
[4:07] Speaker 2: understood their qualities, He understood the nature of these creatures,
[4:11] Speaker 2: he understood the skills he put in them. He designed them,
[4:15] Speaker 2: and he designed them with such unique qualities that both
[4:18] Speaker 2: of them have emerged to be the leader of their territory.
[4:21] Speaker 2: The lion is the leader of the animal kingdom. No
[4:25] Speaker 2: questions about it. When he shows up, everybody becomes nervous.
[4:30] Speaker 2: The eagle is the leader of the bird kingdom. No
[4:34] Speaker 2: bird can fly as high as the eagle. No bird
[4:36] Speaker 2: has a vision like the eagle. No bird is more
[4:39] Speaker 2: powerful than the eagle. These two God identified with it
[4:44] Speaker 2: in the scriptures. It says, God says, I will bear
[4:47] Speaker 2: you up on wings like an eagle. He says, I
[4:51] Speaker 2: will starry your nests like an eagle's tears a nest.
[4:55] Speaker 2: He said, I put you on my opinions like an
[4:57] Speaker 2: eagle puts his young er opinions. I will lied to you
[5:01] Speaker 2: to the highest places. And then he said, when you
[5:05] Speaker 2: get tired, he says, I will renew your strength like
[5:08] Speaker 2: an eagle. God identified with the eagle leadership, but he
[5:17] Speaker 2: also identified himself with that powerful creature called the lion.
[5:22] Speaker 2: What a powerful creature. And I want to talk a
[5:25] Speaker 2: little bit about the lion, because the lion is the
[5:27] Speaker 2: one that got me from sleeping on the floor to
[5:31] Speaker 2: flying in my own jet. It was the lion. Think
[5:39] Speaker 2: about this, an army of sheep led by a lion,
[5:49] Speaker 2: you will always defeat an army of lions led by
[5:55] Speaker 2: a sheep. What's the paradox, leadership determines the quality of
[6:04] Speaker 2: your followers. True leadership can transform cowards into warriors. True
[6:13] Speaker 2: leadership can transform fearful people into fearless people. The right
[6:20] Speaker 2: kind of leadership can transform people who are timid into
[6:25] Speaker 2: people who will intimidate. When you think of the greatest
[6:31] Speaker 2: leader that ever lived, yes, sure, he didn't go to
[6:38] Speaker 2: find his students from the halls of universities. He didn't
[6:44] Speaker 2: choose his disciples from the intellectual and the intelligentia. He
[6:48] Speaker 2: went to the beach. There's hope for Fiji. He went
[6:54] Speaker 2: to the beach and he picked up a few fishermen
[6:58] Speaker 2: and he transformed them into world changes that's about to
[7:04] Speaker 2: happen in the Fiji today. He took men who had
[7:11] Speaker 2: no sense of power, no sense of hope, no sense
[7:16] Speaker 2: of self conviction, no sense of destiny, and he transformed
[7:20] Speaker 2: them in three years. And instead of thinking just about
[7:26] Speaker 2: their village, he told them to go into all the world.
[7:32] Speaker 2: They became the first global company. Globalization is not new.
[7:42] Speaker 2: It was invented by Jesus Christ. Clap for him right
[7:45] Speaker 2: now is a powerful company. He told them that his
[7:51] Speaker 2: product was a global product and they must go into
[7:54] Speaker 2: all the world and distribute his product. His company started
[7:57] Speaker 2: with eleven clients. Today it has over one point two
[8:00] Speaker 2: billion clients. I work for the company, but he taught
[8:09] Speaker 2: us the power of leadership. The lion is a mystery
[8:18] Speaker 2: to me. Here's the paradox of the lion. The lion
[8:23] Speaker 2: is not the tallest animal in the jungle. He's not
[8:27] Speaker 2: the most powerful animal in the jungle. He's not the
[8:30] Speaker 2: strongest animal in the jungle. He's not the biggest animal
[8:33] Speaker 2: in the jungle. The lion is not the most powerful
[8:35] Speaker 2: and the most intelligent animal in the jungle. And yet
[8:39] Speaker 2: the lion is the leader of the jungle. Tell your
[8:41] Speaker 2: neighbor this hope for you. You don't need to be
[8:46] Speaker 2: the strongest, or the most powerful, or the most telligent,
[8:50] Speaker 2: or the tallest or the biggest to be in charge.
[8:55] Speaker 2: The lion cancels all of your excuses for becoming a leader.
[9:05] Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, the lion has a secret
[9:08] Speaker 2: that I want to share with you today that changed
[9:11] Speaker 2: my life because I looked at the lion and I
[9:15] Speaker 2: felt like him. I am not the tallest animal in
[9:18] Speaker 2: the jungle. As you can see, my skin tells me.
[9:23] Speaker 2: I'm not the most opportunist I'm not the most powerful,
[9:29] Speaker 2: nor the most the heaviest. I'm not the most intelligent.
[9:38] Speaker 2: As a matter of fact of when I went to school,
[9:41] Speaker 2: the white teacher from Scotland sat before me in the
[9:46] Speaker 2: class of thirty six little black kids, and he said
[9:49] Speaker 2: to me, you are unetchkable. I'll never forget that Scotsman.
[9:55] Speaker 2: He said, you are half breed monkey. Your brain can
[10:00] Speaker 2: can't handle complicated components. You are not smart enough to learn.
[10:04] Speaker 2: All you can do is study music. Son just saying.
[10:12] Speaker 2: He told me you will never achieve greatness. He says,
[10:17] Speaker 2: all of you kids in this class are not fully human.
[10:20] Speaker 2: You are some human. You don't have the intellectual capacity
[10:24] Speaker 2: of brain power to be a full human. He told
[10:27] Speaker 2: me that to my face. I remember weeping as a
[10:29] Speaker 2: child in a classroom. I believed him because I was
[10:32] Speaker 2: getting an F in his class. I said, maybe he's right.
[10:37] Speaker 2: Maybe I am a monkey. Maybe I am uneekable. Maybe
[10:40] Speaker 2: I do have a defect mentally. I remember going home
[10:44] Speaker 2: telling my mother, I said, Mom, the teacher said that
[10:47] Speaker 2: I'm a half breed human. I'm not a full human.
[10:49] Speaker 2: I'm part monkey and I can't learn in my brain.
[10:54] Speaker 2: And I said, Mom, he actually used the word retarded,
[10:59] Speaker 2: and I was weeping. My mom grabbed me by my
[11:01] Speaker 2: shirt and she lifted me to her face and she said,
[11:04] Speaker 2: don't you ever say that again. You are not retarded.
[11:07] Speaker 2: You are not a monkey. Then my mother did something
[11:14] Speaker 2: that I never would forget. She picked up this big
[11:17] Speaker 2: black book she had and she opened it up, and
[11:22] Speaker 2: I was sitting there weeping on the floor, and she
[11:24] Speaker 2: turned to her a passage in the book and she said,
[11:28] Speaker 2: I want you to go in that dirty closet over there,
[11:30] Speaker 2: on those dirty clothes. I want you to stay there.
[11:32] Speaker 2: Don't you come out and tell your memorize that one
[11:35] Speaker 2: statement right there. I said, yes, ma'am, and I went
[11:39] Speaker 2: to that closet, and by candlelight, I kept reading that
[11:48] Speaker 2: one statement. I'll never forget the statement. It changed my life.
[11:53] Speaker 2: It said, now, unto him who is able to do
[11:57] Speaker 2: exceedingly abundantly above, far beyond all you can ever ask, think,
[12:02] Speaker 2: I imagine, according to the power that works within you,
[12:06] Speaker 2: to him be glory. And I read it again, Now,
[12:09] Speaker 2: unto him who was able to do exceeding abundantly above,
[12:13] Speaker 2: far beyond all I can ever ask or think or imagine,
[12:16] Speaker 2: a condon to the power that works within me. And
[12:18] Speaker 2: I said it again, Now un to him who was
[12:20] Speaker 2: able to do exceedingly, abundantly above, far beyond all I
[12:24] Speaker 2: can ever ask, think, I imagine, have gotten to the
[12:26] Speaker 2: power that worked within me. And suddenly, after thirty five minutes,
[12:31] Speaker 2: I was saying it without looking at it. Now unto
[12:34] Speaker 2: him who was able to do exceedingly, abundantly above, far
[12:37] Speaker 2: beyond all I can ever ask or think, have gone
[12:39] Speaker 2: to the power that works within me. And after one
[12:42] Speaker 2: hour I realized that the power was in me, not
[12:45] Speaker 2: in my teacher. A few years ago, I went to
[12:55] Speaker 2: England just at a leadership seminar in downtown London. There's
[13:03] Speaker 2: a beautiful hotel and I remember after the session there
[13:08] Speaker 2: were hundreds of people packed into that hotel and I
[13:11] Speaker 2: was in the lobby autographing books for people, and there
[13:14] Speaker 2: was a long line of people there to get books autographed,
[13:17] Speaker 2: and and I was autographing my new books and I
[13:20] Speaker 2: saw this guy walking up with a cane, old man.
[13:24] Speaker 2: He was staggering, he can hardly walk. And he came
[13:27] Speaker 2: and his beard, he's all riddled up and old man,
[13:30] Speaker 2: and he gave me two of my books and he says,
[13:33] Speaker 2: can you autograph this for me please? One of them
[13:35] Speaker 2: was very greasy and mashed up and all marked up.
[13:38] Speaker 2: And I said, sir, you've read my book. He said, oh,
[13:40] Speaker 2: your books have changed my life. I said, thank you, sir,
[13:42] Speaker 2: and then he gave me a brand new book that
[13:44] Speaker 2: I'd just written to autograph and autograph them. And after
[13:47] Speaker 2: I finished, said thank you, sir. I appreciate you coming
[13:49] Speaker 2: to the conference today. It was great to meet you.
[13:51] Speaker 2: And he just stood there at the table, not moving,
[13:54] Speaker 2: and I said, sir, there are people waiting behind you.
[13:56] Speaker 2: Can you please, if you finish, move along? And he
[13:59] Speaker 2: just stood there looking at me. I said, sir, is
[14:02] Speaker 2: there a problem? And he simply said, as if he
[14:05] Speaker 2: went into a dream. He said, you know, I used
[14:08] Speaker 2: to live in the Bahamas. I said, really where I
[14:12] Speaker 2: used to live in Nassau. I said that's where I live.
[14:16] Speaker 2: I said, what did you do there? He said I
[14:17] Speaker 2: was a teacher. I said, had you teach? He said,
[14:20] Speaker 2: I taught at chree Is High School. I said that's
[14:22] Speaker 2: my school, Sir, you went to my school. He said yes.
[14:26] Speaker 2: You don't remember me, do you, sir? I said no.
[14:31] Speaker 2: He said, I'm mister Robinson. I said, you are who?
[14:38] Speaker 2: And then I realized that he was the man who
[14:40] Speaker 2: called me a monkey. I jumped up from my chair
[14:53] Speaker 2: and I grabbed that old white man and kissed him
[14:55] Speaker 2: on the cheek and I said, mister Robinson, I haven't
[14:59] Speaker 2: seen you for a it's good to see you. He said, Myles,
[15:03] Speaker 2: I'm so proud of you. He says, your books are
[15:05] Speaker 2: sold all over Scotland. I read all of them. It
[15:08] Speaker 2: changed my life. As a matter of fact, it's your
[15:10] Speaker 2: book that made me understand God. And we sat there
[15:17] Speaker 2: weeping on each other's shoulders, and mister Robinson was just crying.
[15:21] Speaker 2: And I said, mister Robinson, you read my books. He said, yes,
[15:24] Speaker 2: you are fantastic writer. I said, thank you, sir, I said,
[15:27] Speaker 2: not bad for monkey hair. Be careful what you call people.
[15:43] Speaker 2: You don't know who they are. Today. I am mister
[15:49] Speaker 2: Robinson's teacher, ladies and gentlemen. Just like the lion. I
[16:01] Speaker 2: don't have the height and the power and the intelligence.
[16:07] Speaker 2: I don't have the weight and the strength. But there's
[16:11] Speaker 2: one thing the lion has that makes it the leader.
[16:13] Speaker 2: Write this word down, please. The lion has what we
[16:16] Speaker 2: call attitude. Everybody's attitude the key to becoming a leader
[16:23] Speaker 2: is not skilled. It's not strength, it's not even power.
[16:33] Speaker 2: Its attitude. And this is what they don't teach us
[16:39] Speaker 2: in school. Most of our postcolonial education is built on
[16:48] Speaker 2: a curriculum that prepares you to get a job, not
[16:53] Speaker 2: to own a business. You are trained to be a servant,
[17:02] Speaker 2: not to be a service to your generation. You are
[17:06] Speaker 2: trained to be employed, not to be deployed as a
[17:11] Speaker 2: gift to the world. Our attitudes are trained to be followers,
[17:20] Speaker 2: are not leaders. The lion is a leader because of
[17:27] Speaker 2: his attitude. He thinks differently. Write this down. Belief is
[17:37] Speaker 2: the source of attitude. Attitude is a product of belief.
[17:43] Speaker 2: Whatever you believe about yourself creates your attitude toward yourself,
[17:47] Speaker 2: and the way you think about yourself is the way
[17:49] Speaker 2: people treat you. Thirdly, the lion has this confidence. All
[17:57] Speaker 2: true leaders have a very strange internal confidence that makes
[18:03] Speaker 2: them free from other people's opinions. The lion is not
[18:10] Speaker 2: influenced by any other animal. His self confidence is what
[18:16] Speaker 2: makes him so dangerous, and that comes from his belief system.
[18:23] Speaker 2: The lion believes that he can achieve anything in that jungle.
[18:29] Speaker 2: His belief in himself and his own abilities is what
[18:32] Speaker 2: separates him from all the others, and that belief creates
[18:37] Speaker 2: a confidence that becomes an attitude that exudes a spirit
[18:43] Speaker 2: of leadership. The lion thinks differently. Let me say a
[18:50] Speaker 2: few words about attitude. The difference between a leader and
[18:54] Speaker 2: a follower is attitude, and attitude is natural. You cannot
[19:04] Speaker 2: fake an attitude. This is why those who intimidate other
[19:09] Speaker 2: people can never be leaders, and those who mimic other
[19:13] Speaker 2: people can never change the world. There has to be
[19:16] Speaker 2: a point where you discover the truth about yourself, where
[19:19] Speaker 2: you walk in a spirit of natural confidence. I didn't
[19:24] Speaker 2: come here to impress you. I don't need to. I
[19:27] Speaker 2: didn't come to this place to get your approval. I
[19:29] Speaker 2: don't want it. I didn't come here to try and
[19:32] Speaker 2: make you like me. I already like me. In other words,
[19:36] Speaker 2: my confidence is not controlled by your opinions of me.
[19:41] Speaker 2: I discover the truth about myself, and that makes me
[19:44] Speaker 2: free from you. And until you find that same discovery,
[19:49] Speaker 2: you're going to be a victim of everyone around you,
[19:51] Speaker 2: and you'll be always trying to be accepted by other people.
[19:56] Speaker 2: The lion doesn't try to get a from any elephant.
[20:05] Speaker 2: He doesn't need to be accepted by the giraffe. As
[20:09] Speaker 2: a matter of fact, the lion keeps company with no
[20:12] Speaker 2: other animal. It's amazing how we associate. In order for
[20:17] Speaker 2: us to progress in life. We get to know people
[20:21] Speaker 2: so they can help us get ahead. Lions never do that.
[20:26] Speaker 2: You don't use people to try and improve your status.
[20:30] Speaker 2: That means you are sick. True leadership is about self discovery.
[20:43] Speaker 2: The lion knows who he is, he knows his own abilities,
[20:51] Speaker 2: and that knowledge transforms his attitude. Please write this down.
[20:57] Speaker 2: Attitude controls your behavior, and attitude controls your response to life.
[21:12] Speaker 2: Attitude is a mental conditioning. It can block your life
[21:19] Speaker 2: or open your life. The way you think and your
[21:24] Speaker 2: attitude can give you opportunities or they can shut them down.
[21:31] Speaker 2: When I interview people for jobs in our organization, whether
[21:36] Speaker 2: they are volunteers or whether they are full time staff
[21:40] Speaker 2: senior people, I don't look for intelligence too much. I
[21:45] Speaker 2: don't look for their degrees. I try to look for
[21:48] Speaker 2: their attitude. A smart person with a bad attitude is
[21:55] Speaker 2: a problem. A PA with a bad attitude is a problem.
[22:03] Speaker 2: I'd rather have a BA with a good attitude, because
[22:08] Speaker 2: attitude is more important than paper. The lion's attitude is
[22:16] Speaker 2: what makes him a distinguished leader. It is what gives
[22:19] Speaker 2: the lion the edge of being a leader. Let me
[22:23] Speaker 2: give you something very important about the lion. His attitude
[22:28] Speaker 2: knocks limitations off. That is why I believe personally nothing
[22:34] Speaker 2: is impossible. I believe that with all my heart, anything
[22:37] Speaker 2: I dream, I can do it. But I wasn't born
[22:43] Speaker 2: to think that way. My culture didn't allow that. I
[22:50] Speaker 2: got an attitude adjustment by getting new information about myself.
[22:56] Speaker 2: And I got that from this interesting book my mother
[22:58] Speaker 2: gave me years ago, That big black book. Is that
[23:03] Speaker 2: black book that transformed my thinking? Is that black book
[23:07] Speaker 2: that changed my concept of myself? Is that black book
[23:10] Speaker 2: that woke up that's sleeping giant on the inside of me?
[23:13] Speaker 2: Is that black book that transformed this sheep into a lion.
[23:21] Speaker 2: I put it to you today, friends, that your attitude
[23:26] Speaker 2: is the key to your future. Lions are strange creatures.
[23:35] Speaker 2: A lion looks at an elephant fifty times heavier, forty
[23:42] Speaker 2: times more powerful. He looks at the elephant eighty times
[23:47] Speaker 2: more intelligent. He looks at the elephant seventy two times bigger.
[23:57] Speaker 2: He looked at this monster. He looks at this big
[24:00] Speaker 2: massive creature. I guess what the lions do. The lions
[24:04] Speaker 2: and he looks at him and thinks, lunch. Isn't that incredible.
[24:14] Speaker 2: He looks at all that power, energy, intelligence, weight, height, strength,
[24:20] Speaker 2: but in his mind he thinks that's lunch. His attitude
[24:33] Speaker 2: reduces the elephant to a meal. I have come to
[24:39] Speaker 2: the Fiji to tell you that every elephant you're facing
[24:44] Speaker 2: is nothing but lunch. Tell your neighbor lunch. Say it again,
[24:49] Speaker 2: nothing but lunch. Whatever you are dealing with today, no
[24:54] Speaker 2: matter how big it looks, it's as big as you
[24:58] Speaker 2: think it is. The lion looks at the elephant and
[25:04] Speaker 2: he says, there's my meal. His mind, his belief system,
[25:10] Speaker 2: reduces the elephant to a meal, which means, then write
[25:17] Speaker 2: this down. No one can live beyond the limits of
[25:20] Speaker 2: their belief. His belief about himself reduces the elephant to
[25:27] Speaker 2: a meal, and because he believes the elephant is lunch,
[25:32] Speaker 2: it controls his behavior. Instead of running from the elephant,
[25:37] Speaker 2: he runs toward the elephant. True leaders are not afraid
[25:41] Speaker 2: of problems. They get excited when they see problems. When
[25:46] Speaker 2: you tell a leader something can be done, you just
[25:48] Speaker 2: invited him to start working. Leaders are lot afraid of problems.
[25:54] Speaker 2: They reduce them to challenges. They see them as a
[25:58] Speaker 2: target to hit. Leaders do not think in terms of fear.
[26:05] Speaker 2: They think in terms of passion. The leadership that's trapped
[26:12] Speaker 2: within you have been smuggled and muffled and oppressed by
[26:16] Speaker 2: your culture. I have come to unearth that powerful person
[26:22] Speaker 2: trapped within you. I will set yet by God to
[26:25] Speaker 2: take all the limits of you and say nothing is impossible.
[26:29] Speaker 2: After this day, you will never be trapped again. In
[26:33] Speaker 2: that following spirit, you must see the world through your
[26:40] Speaker 2: belief system, not with your eyes. You see, life is
[26:45] Speaker 2: exactly what you think it is, not what it really is.
[26:49] Speaker 2: You've heard this before. Perception is reality, You are correct.
[26:55] Speaker 2: Perception is your interpretation of what your eyes look at.
[27:01] Speaker 2: The elephant looks at the lion and he thinks chef.
[27:12] Speaker 2: The lion looks at the elephant thinks lunch. Now they're
[27:16] Speaker 2: both thinking, look at each other thinking, and so the
[27:19] Speaker 2: lion looks at the elephant and says, that's a meal.
[27:22] Speaker 2: The elephant looks at the lion and says, he's gonna
[27:24] Speaker 2: cook me. Both of them react based on their belief system.
[27:29] Speaker 2: So the elephant backs off he's bigger, he's more powerful,
[27:34] Speaker 2: he's stronger, more intelligent, but his belief system controls his behavior.
[27:48] Speaker 2: So my question is where did you get your belief
[27:52] Speaker 2: system from? And you got one, and it's trapping you.
[28:04] Speaker 2: Your mentality is your reality, and if you don't like
[28:12] Speaker 2: your reality, you gotta change your mentality. The elephant is
[28:22] Speaker 2: controlled by his thoughts, the lion controlled by his thoughts.
[28:28] Speaker 2: Perception is your interpretation of what you see. Therefore, my
[28:36] Speaker 2: conclusion is leadership is eighty percent attitude and twenty percent skill.
[28:48] Speaker 2: You can go to a leadership institute, spend thousand of
[28:53] Speaker 2: dollars for leadership training and still come back and be
[28:57] Speaker 2: a follower because they will get give you skills. They
[29:01] Speaker 2: will give you methods. They will give you systems of
[29:04] Speaker 2: how to control people, how to threaten people, how to
[29:07] Speaker 2: oppress people, how to manipulate people. That's not leadership. Leadership
[29:15] Speaker 2: cannot really be taught. It has to be discovered. When
[29:23] Speaker 2: you discover who you really are, no one can stop
[29:25] Speaker 2: you after that. That's why when Jesus Christ came into
[29:30] Speaker 2: the world, he went after your mind. Some people think
[29:36] Speaker 2: you men after the spirit. The spirit is easy to change.
[29:48] Speaker 2: You can be born again in an instant, but it
[29:52] Speaker 2: takes a lifetime to change your mentality. The first word
[29:56] Speaker 2: used by Jesus Christ in his public ministry is a
[30:01] Speaker 2: word we don't think about too much to all humanity.
[30:03] Speaker 2: First word repent. The word repent is not a religious word.
[30:11] Speaker 2: It's a word from psychology. The concept of the word
[30:14] Speaker 2: repent means to change your thinking. It doesn't mean to
[30:22] Speaker 2: walk down front in the middle of religious service and
[30:25] Speaker 2: bring up your past and feel bad about it. That's
[30:29] Speaker 2: called remorse. That's not repent. The word repent means write
[30:35] Speaker 2: this down to change your mental conditioning. He first attacked
[30:41] Speaker 2: the mind because he knew that no matter how much
[30:44] Speaker 2: your spirit changes, if your mind doesn't changed, you are
[30:48] Speaker 2: still the same person. Repent means to change the way
[30:57] Speaker 2: you've been conditioned to think. Why, he said, because the
[31:03] Speaker 2: kingdom of Heaven has come back to earth. In my kingdom,
[31:07] Speaker 2: we don't think like sheep. We think like lions. I've
[31:15] Speaker 2: heard people religious people not You're the one behind you.
[31:20] Speaker 2: They are so happy to call themselves you know, I'm
[31:24] Speaker 2: God sheep. You should never be proud to call yourself
[31:27] Speaker 2: a sheep. Sheep is the dumbest animal on the planet.
[31:33] Speaker 2: Did you know that they are dumb? That's why God
[31:39] Speaker 2: call you the sheep. God is you're dumb. You are
[31:41] Speaker 2: like sheep gone astray. You're stupid. You left me. You
[31:51] Speaker 2: don't want to be a sheep. Sheep are so dumb
[31:58] Speaker 2: that if a flock of sheep I eat it on
[32:00] Speaker 2: the hillside, they keep their heads down and they all
[32:05] Speaker 2: just eat and fun of the tail in front of them.
[32:10] Speaker 2: They never look up. They just eat fun of the tail.
[32:12] Speaker 2: And if there's a cliff, the one in front of
[32:15] Speaker 2: the fall over, and they want to just keep on
[32:16] Speaker 2: eating and need to fall over too, and they all
[32:19] Speaker 2: fall over. They are stupid animals. That is why sheep
[32:25] Speaker 2: need a shepherd. Dummy. Today, I declare in the Fiji
[32:36] Speaker 2: Islands that this room is no longer full of sheep. Hit,
[32:41] Speaker 2: this filled with lions. Clap your hands, all your liars
[32:47] Speaker 2: and shout. Don't be proud of being dumb. They are
[33:07] Speaker 2: like sheep without either. He says. The lion is a
[33:21] Speaker 2: leader because of belief. I want to close this first
[33:28] Speaker 2: session with what this all means the power of attitude.
[33:34] Speaker 2: Write this down quickly. Attitude determines your limitation. Attitude also
[33:42] Speaker 2: comes from your belief system. And you cannot live beyond
[33:45] Speaker 2: your belief system. So if you want to change your life,
[33:48] Speaker 2: you got to change your attitude and your belief system.
[33:52] Speaker 2: But here's the big word I want you to stake
[33:53] Speaker 2: with you before we break, and that's the word philosophy.
[33:59] Speaker 2: Philosophy is your belief system. Every human on earth has
[34:08] Speaker 2: a philosophy. Philosophy is your product of your ideas. What
[34:14] Speaker 2: did I say? Repeat it? Philosophy is the product of
[34:21] Speaker 2: your ideas. In other words, every human has a philosophy.
[34:24] Speaker 2: Philosophy means your way of thinking. Philosophy means your belief system.
[34:33] Speaker 2: The word philosophy is two words put together. Philo means
[34:37] Speaker 2: to love, Philosophy means to think, so philosophy means to
[34:43] Speaker 2: be in love with your thoughts. Philosophy simply means you
[34:49] Speaker 2: love your thoughts so much you believe them. A philosopher
[34:54] Speaker 2: is anyone who keeps thinking about their thinking. While they
[34:56] Speaker 2: thought about their thoughts, while they were thinking about what
[34:58] Speaker 2: they were thinking about. They sit around talking about their
[35:01] Speaker 2: thoughts all day. That's what Plato did, Aristotle did that,
[35:04] Speaker 2: Socrates did that. They just thought about their thoughts until
[35:07] Speaker 2: they begin to create their own belief system, and then
[35:11] Speaker 2: they sold their systems to us. Did you know that
[35:19] Speaker 2: the word democrata is a Greek word invented by Aristotle
[35:24] Speaker 2: and Plato. Democrata was an idea produced by the Greeks.
[35:33] Speaker 2: It's not from the Bible. Democracy is a Greek idea.
[35:46] Speaker 2: The power of an idea dead men rule the world.
[35:55] Speaker 2: Can I say it again? Dead men are ruling the world.
[36:00] Speaker 2: They rule the world from their cemeteries because their ideas
[36:04] Speaker 2: are more powerful than the death. Why am I saying this?
[36:12] Speaker 2: Because your philosophy is so strong it controls your life.
[36:19] Speaker 2: And everyone in this country has a personal philosophy. The
[36:23] Speaker 2: man sleeping under the bridge in your city has a philosophy.
[36:28] Speaker 2: The woman selling us body on the streets tonight has
[36:31] Speaker 2: a philosophy. The young man sniffing cocaine up his nose
[36:37] Speaker 2: tonight has a philosophy. The drug dealer has a philosophy.
[36:50] Speaker 2: The housewife who's being abused by her husband but she
[36:53] Speaker 2: stays there, has a philosophy. There's a belief system she has.
[37:06] Speaker 2: You cannot live beyond your philosophy, and your philosophy is
[37:14] Speaker 2: the collection of the ideas that you've accepted as truth
[37:19] Speaker 2: and My question is where did you get your ideas from?
[37:24] Speaker 2: Because you cannot become beyond your belief system, and you
[37:27] Speaker 2: will only change when your belief system changes. And that's
[37:30] Speaker 2: why we have this seminar. This conference is to focus
[37:33] Speaker 2: on your belief system. Because if I cannot change your
[37:35] Speaker 2: belief system, I have failed. I've come to help you repent.
[37:44] Speaker 2: I repent every day, I change my thinking. I read
[37:47] Speaker 2: at least four books a month. Why I have to.
[37:50] Speaker 2: It's a tough job, but I have to because I
[37:52] Speaker 2: have to keep expanding my mind. We were never taught
[38:02] Speaker 2: to read by the oppressor, and so we don't like
[38:08] Speaker 2: to read. You like to watch TV. We forget that
[38:15] Speaker 2: the man on TV is a millionaire and we broke.
[38:20] Speaker 2: We spend hours watching him making him rich. Shut the
[38:24] Speaker 2: TV off and read a book. Expand your ideas. It's
[38:29] Speaker 2: time for you to become a lion. You are a leader,
[38:31] Speaker 2: not a follower. Clap clap, clap your hands. Everybody ignorance
[38:40] Speaker 2: is a choice, and the man who cannot read is
[38:47] Speaker 2: no wiser than the man who doesn't read. You need
[38:54] Speaker 2: those ideas because leadership depends on your philosophy. The reason
[39:00] Speaker 2: why the lion is a leader is because he has
[39:03] Speaker 2: a philosophy about himself and that makes him in charge
[39:07] Speaker 2: of the jungle. When the lion shows up, all the
[39:10] Speaker 2: animals become afraid. Even the elephant runs, the powerful tall
[39:18] Speaker 2: giraffe moves away. This little cat can bring order to
[39:22] Speaker 2: a whole jungle just because of attitude. Leadership resides in you.
[39:31] Speaker 2: Let me put it this way. You will only change
[39:33] Speaker 2: when your philosophy changes, and your philosophy is your belief system.
[39:37] Speaker 2: And my friend sitting next to you is one of
[39:39] Speaker 2: the most powerful humans on earth, but they've been trapped
[39:43] Speaker 2: in a philosophy that isn't true. That's why I appreciate
[39:48] Speaker 2: this church. This church has invited a crazy man like
[39:51] Speaker 2: me because we're about to go to the next level
[39:54] Speaker 2: in this country. The future of the Fiji is so powerful.
[40:03] Speaker 2: That's why I came here. I didn't have to come here.
[40:05] Speaker 2: I was being invited by seventeen other countries to come,
[40:08] Speaker 2: but I was told to come here by God. To
[40:10] Speaker 2: go to Fiji says, because your future is about to unfold.
[40:18] Speaker 2: You about to embarrass all of those who thought you
[40:21] Speaker 2: couldn't make it. No matter what it looks like. The
[40:25] Speaker 2: elephant is not Bigger than the Lion.
