[0:39] Speaker 2: State of the Church.
[0:40] Speaker 3: Well, right, this is what I skipped. I know you're
[0:43] Speaker 3: keeping up with me. All right, the state of the church.
[0:47] Speaker 3: Write these down. The first state of the church I
[0:50] Speaker 3: want you to be reminded of is the unconsciousness of
[0:54] Speaker 3: the church. And I'll give you a scripture in just
[0:55] Speaker 3: a minute. The unconsciousness of the church. Secondly, the church
[1:02] Speaker 3: right now is culturally incompetent. Thirdly, the church is unprepared
[1:11] Speaker 3: to rule. It's conferences like this that get us in
[1:14] Speaker 3: a position that we can be ready to rule.
[1:18] Speaker 2: Amen.
[1:19] Speaker 3: The scripture I want to use is Matthew eleven and sixteen.
[1:23] Speaker 3: And then we'll wrap this up. This is Jesus talking.
[1:27] Speaker 3: Jesus says, but what shall I liken this generation too?
[1:30] Speaker 3: What is this generation like that we are in? He
[1:34] Speaker 3: asked the question. Then he answered it. It is like
[1:37] Speaker 3: children sitting in the marketplaces, calling to their companions and saying,
[1:43] Speaker 3: we played the flute for you, and you did not dance.
[1:46] Speaker 3: We mourned to you, you did not lament. For John
[1:49] Speaker 3: came neither eating nor drinking, and they say he is
[1:53] Speaker 3: he has a demon. But the son of Man came
[1:55] Speaker 3: eating and drinking, and they say, look a glutton and
[1:58] Speaker 3: a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.
[2:02] Speaker 2: But the last verse read it with me.
[2:04] Speaker 3: But wisdom is justified by her children one more time.
[2:08] Speaker 3: But wisdom, in other words, Jesus says, wisdom gives birth
[2:14] Speaker 3: to something.
[2:16] Speaker 2: Wisdom gives birth to something.
[2:18] Speaker 3: But back up to the top of that verse, Jesus asks,
[2:20] Speaker 3: what's the generation like? Then he describes it, the generation
[2:24] Speaker 3: is like children in the marketplaces.
[2:26] Speaker 2: So when he compared, if we compare the church.
[2:28] Speaker 3: To this statement, Jesus is saying this, Have you ever
[2:31] Speaker 3: taken your children with you to do serious business?
[2:36] Speaker 2: Have you ever taken your children with you to do
[2:38] Speaker 2: serious business? I'm asking a question.
[2:41] Speaker 3: Did you ever end up in a situation to handle
[2:43] Speaker 3: serious stuff and your children were with you?
[2:45] Speaker 2: Maybe you haven't, but I have.
[2:47] Speaker 3: I've been trying to do serious stuff, and my little
[2:50] Speaker 3: kids were there, and the little children would carry on
[2:54] Speaker 3: in gains while I was trying to carry on business.
[2:58] Speaker 3: They are distracted by what's around them because right over
[3:01] Speaker 3: their heads something is happening that they cannot perceive. Jesus says,
[3:07] Speaker 3: the church is like children in the marketplace. What is
[3:10] Speaker 3: the marketplace? Don't miss doctor Monroe in the morning. You've
[3:13] Speaker 3: never heard it, So you need to be here when
[3:15] Speaker 3: you talk about marketplaces. Marketplaces are places where there's an
[3:19] Speaker 3: exchange and exchange of ideas and in change, exchange for
[3:22] Speaker 3: products and money and exchange I mean at marketplaces is
[3:26] Speaker 3: where the stuff really happens. The stuff that contains life
[3:30] Speaker 3: doesn't really happen at church. It happens in the marketplaces.
[3:33] Speaker 3: So Jesus said, the church is like children in the marketplaces.
[3:38] Speaker 3: And right over our heads, right over our heads. Deals
[3:43] Speaker 3: are being made right over our heads. Exchanges are happening
[3:48] Speaker 3: right over our head. Political parties are taking control right
[3:52] Speaker 3: over our heads. Companies are being bought and sold right
[3:55] Speaker 3: over our heads. Deals are being made at the city level,
[3:57] Speaker 3: at the state level, at the governor's level, and presidential level.
[4:02] Speaker 2: Right over our heads.
[4:03] Speaker 3: We are unconscious to power being and exchanged around us.
[4:10] Speaker 3: We are unconscious to the concept that the Kingdom is
[4:14] Speaker 3: not just alive and well, but the Kingdom desires to
[4:17] Speaker 3: thrive and take over. That's the state of the church.
[4:23] Speaker 3: It has to change. Do you agree the state of
[4:27] Speaker 3: the Church has to change. This is what Jesus said
[4:30] Speaker 3: as he continued to describe this. Woe to you, teachers
[4:33] Speaker 3: and teachers of the law and pharisees. You're hypocrites. You
[4:38] Speaker 3: travel over land and sea to win a single convert,
[4:44] Speaker 3: and when he becomes one, you make him twice twice
[4:50] Speaker 3: as much a person of Hell, the son of Hell,
[4:54] Speaker 3: as you are. In other words, we go around the
[4:56] Speaker 3: world to reach people.
[4:58] Speaker 2: And God is trying to hide these lost people.
[5:01] Speaker 3: From us because we are unconscious and we turn them
[5:05] Speaker 3: into sons of Hell. Those are his words, not mine.
[5:12] Speaker 3: That as we go into the world to preach to
[5:15] Speaker 3: the lost and get them saved, they are better off
[5:20] Speaker 3: not saved and.
[5:20] Speaker 2: Not being in contact with us.
[5:24] Speaker 3: They are better off not meeting a Christian because we
[5:27] Speaker 3: Christians are gonna take them out of glory. We're gonna
[5:31] Speaker 3: take them out of glory and put them in Christendom.
[5:34] Speaker 3: We're gonna stuff them in that tank we're not happy with.
[5:42] Speaker 3: We're gonna put them in this tank of artificialness. We're
[5:47] Speaker 3: gonna stuff them in this world where they really don't
[5:50] Speaker 3: have power to thrive. So Jesus says, we turn people
[5:57] Speaker 3: into worse things than they were before they met our Jesus.
[6:04] Speaker 3: So the church can become the problem of Heaven. The
[6:13] Speaker 3: church can actually become the enemy of the true message
[6:17] Speaker 3: of the Kingdom. The church can be the person or
[6:20] Speaker 3: the people who.
[6:21] Speaker 2: Don't go into the Kingdom and then block the.
[6:24] Speaker 3: Way intentionally for others to go in. What if the
[6:29] Speaker 3: church has become God's problem? We need new church. Amen, finishing.
[6:40] Speaker 3: We went through this today. I'm gonna move past that.
[6:42] Speaker 3: You remember that, right, You know what that is?
[6:46] Speaker 2: Right?
[6:46] Speaker 3: This environment, this environment, this is the Kingdom.
[6:51] Speaker 2: This is the Kingdom.
[6:52] Speaker 3: This is the mass array of species, the flow of
[6:58] Speaker 3: living waters beyond this little fish tank we have to
[7:03] Speaker 3: get out of. Just Christendom is in the Kingdom, but
[7:08] Speaker 3: it's not the Kingdom. Christendom, Christ's likeness is in the Kingdom,
[7:16] Speaker 3: but it doesn't describe the totality of what the Kingdom is.
[7:19] Speaker 3: And I tell you right now, we have Muslims in
[7:21] Speaker 3: our church, they come every Sunday.
[7:25] Speaker 2: We have Hindus in our church. They come every Sunday.
[7:28] Speaker 3: This is what doctor Monroe told me the first time
[7:30] Speaker 3: he told me. I received this standing in front of him,
[7:32] Speaker 3: and then I walked away, murmuring I did not believe
[7:35] Speaker 3: what he said. It took a few months for me.
[7:37] Speaker 2: To get it.
[7:38] Speaker 3: He said, everyone is looking for the Kingdom, and they
[7:44] Speaker 3: are and they will stomach your Jesus until you point
[7:47] Speaker 3: to them what the kingdom is. And once they know
[7:50] Speaker 3: that he brought the Kingdom, they may accept him.
[7:52] Speaker 2: Hindus they come to church when.
[7:56] Speaker 3: They hear the Kingdom because they want out of their
[7:58] Speaker 3: tank too. There's no life in this tank for them,
[8:05] Speaker 3: so they're looking for us to help. This is where
[8:08] Speaker 3: we're in tonight. What is favor. I'm not flipping the
[8:11] Speaker 3: script or changing the subject. This goes right along with
[8:14] Speaker 3: the kingdom message, because what we need is favor. Favor
[8:19] Speaker 3: is what's getting ready to happen to you. A minute ago,
[8:22] Speaker 3: when Pepe was teaching my God and the presence of
[8:26] Speaker 3: God fell in this room, the Lord said, what's coming
[8:29] Speaker 3: next is I'm going to begin to invite people into
[8:33] Speaker 3: what I'm doing I'm gonna start talking to people and
[8:36] Speaker 3: inviting them into what I'm doing to grow this kingdom,
[8:39] Speaker 3: and then I'm gonna give them favor, favor they've never seen.
[8:43] Speaker 3: Doctor Monroe taught us years ago that once the King
[8:46] Speaker 3: gives you favor, no one can take it away.
[8:51] Speaker 2: So what is favor? How does favor work? Who does
[8:54] Speaker 2: favor follow?
[8:55] Speaker 3: Very simply, Favor is the irresistible charisma of Christ that
[9:00] Speaker 3: wraps itself around you. Favor is the environment of Heaven
[9:04] Speaker 3: on you on earth. Favor is the magnet that attracts
[9:10] Speaker 3: everything good to you. How does favor work? Am I
[9:14] Speaker 3: going too fast? I'm trying to get you in out
[9:21] Speaker 3: of here?
[9:25] Speaker 2: Okay, I'll go back to that screen. You can write
[9:27] Speaker 2: them down.
[9:28] Speaker 3: The favor of God comes upon you when you begin
[9:33] Speaker 3: to agree with him.
[9:39] Speaker 2: You hear what I'm saying. Gotta move on.
[9:43] Speaker 3: Just just buy the thing over there, Just get it
[9:45] Speaker 3: and take it home and hang out.
[9:47] Speaker 2: How does favor work? Favor is the attraction of God.
[9:51] Speaker 2: Read that with me.
[9:52] Speaker 3: Favor is the attraction of God and other resources to
[9:56] Speaker 3: you that releases and through you so that others like
[10:02] Speaker 3: and trust you, so that they will cooperate with you favor.
[10:09] Speaker 3: See what we're gonna have to have to turn this
[10:12] Speaker 3: thing around is favor. We're gonna have to get the
[10:16] Speaker 3: King to speak to us, and we're gonna have to.
[10:20] Speaker 2: Give get the King to give us favor. On the planet.
[10:25] Speaker 3: God said this to me a few years ago. He said,
[10:29] Speaker 3: you got the money, you got the land, you got
[10:30] Speaker 3: fifty acres, you got the money, go and build a
[10:32] Speaker 3: three million dollar project over there. Just go do it
[10:35] Speaker 3: the favor of God. And I'm saying, oh, that's wonderful.
[10:38] Speaker 3: And two weeks later say this with me. God is
[10:41] Speaker 3: Jehovah NISSI say, God is Jehovah.
[10:46] Speaker 2: Rophy.
[10:47] Speaker 3: Now say God is also Jehovah sneaky.
[10:54] Speaker 2: He is Jehovah sneaky.
[10:55] Speaker 3: He gets you out there, doesn't tell you everything, doesn't
[10:59] Speaker 3: even tell you why, and before you know what, your
[11:01] Speaker 3: buddy is in a sling.
[11:04] Speaker 2: But God is never in trouble. So here we are.
[11:08] Speaker 3: We spend one hundred thousand dollars on this project, I
[11:11] Speaker 3: mean five hundred thousand on this project that the Saints raised.
[11:15] Speaker 3: And now God says, I don't want you to build that.
[11:17] Speaker 3: Now there's a building I want. It's fifteen acres. It's
[11:21] Speaker 3: prime land sitting on top of the hill, worth seven
[11:24] Speaker 3: million dollars. I'd already asked the Saints for money to
[11:27] Speaker 3: spend five hundred thousand on this. He said, I want
[11:30] Speaker 3: that building. I said, Lord, that's the Walmart. That's the
[11:32] Speaker 3: biggest building available. Now, that's a lot of money. He said,
[11:36] Speaker 3: I know, but I want the building. Now, I've never
[11:40] Speaker 3: heard that before. He said, I want the building as
[11:42] Speaker 3: a testimony of me. I don't care about you. I
[11:45] Speaker 3: want the building, and if I could come by it,
[11:48] Speaker 3: I would come by it.
[11:50] Speaker 2: Wow.
[11:51] Speaker 3: But the only way I get the building is if
[11:54] Speaker 3: I got to find somebody to buy this building. And
[11:56] Speaker 3: the Lord said these worse to me.
[11:57] Speaker 2: He said, don't worry, I will give you favor.
[12:03] Speaker 3: Favor is when God something about you attracts God to you.
[12:08] Speaker 3: Favor is when there's something about how you think about
[12:11] Speaker 3: the way he thinks that He shows up in your space,
[12:15] Speaker 3: like Pepe was talking. Favor is when God falls in
[12:18] Speaker 3: love with you and he interferes in your atmosphere.
[12:21] Speaker 2: He just kind of comes.
[12:24] Speaker 3: But there's something in you that attracts him, and it's
[12:27] Speaker 3: simply this, you understand, Kingdom, something about you is about
[12:31] Speaker 3: the kingdom.
[12:32] Speaker 2: So now God makes a choice, do I help the Christian.
[12:35] Speaker 3: Or do I help the kingdom citizen who's trying to
[12:38] Speaker 3: do something for me. You can be dumb but have favor.
[12:45] Speaker 3: You can be ignorant and have favor. I mean, a
[12:46] Speaker 3: minute ago, Pepe's talking and I got I needed an etcetera.
[12:50] Speaker 2: My mind doesn't work like that, and I'm like the.
[12:52] Speaker 3: God's smart, worship him, but I don't understand a word
[12:55] Speaker 3: he's saying. It wasn't until the presence of the Lawa
[12:57] Speaker 3: came that I caught up. But Favor doesn't care about
[13:07] Speaker 3: your intellect. Favor does not care about your degree and
[13:11] Speaker 3: your pedigree. Favor does not care well about what your
[13:15] Speaker 3: learning is. Favor ignore skin color, Favor ignore sexual and gender.
[13:20] Speaker 3: Favor ignores what kind of education you got. Favor doesn't care.
[13:28] Speaker 2: Favor wraps around you and you how many Raise your hand.
[13:30] Speaker 3: If anybody's ever said to you, we don't normally do this,
[13:36] Speaker 3: Raise your hand. If people have said, uh uh, this
[13:39] Speaker 3: is against the rules, raise your hand. If someone has
[13:42] Speaker 3: said to you, don't tell anybody I did this for you.
[13:46] Speaker 2: That is favor.
[13:48] Speaker 3: And see doctor Monroe told us years ago when the
[13:52] Speaker 3: door of favor opens up, don't be messing around, and
[13:55] Speaker 3: don't be getting into self humility, and don't don't be
[13:58] Speaker 3: getting into weird self.
[13:59] Speaker 2: If the door opens.
[14:00] Speaker 3: Walked through the door, and doctor Monroe teaches us that
[14:05] Speaker 3: once the door opens, don't stop walking because the doors
[14:09] Speaker 3: if one door favor is open, he says to us,
[14:11] Speaker 3: that means the king has spoken. So you just keep
[14:14] Speaker 3: walking till the door's closed. So we bought the building.
[14:22] Speaker 3: We listen, we bought the building. It was a war
[14:26] Speaker 3: to buy the building, seven million dollar building. We got
[14:29] Speaker 3: it for under for under four three and a half.
[14:33] Speaker 3: Then the lord said, I'm gonna give you a favor
[14:34] Speaker 3: with me and everybody. The day we closed on the building,
[14:37] Speaker 3: I went golfing, went to a restaurant with my son,
[14:42] Speaker 3: and a man walked up to me and said, you're
[14:44] Speaker 3: Pastor Williams.
[14:45] Speaker 2: He was a millionaire business owner. He said, you bought
[14:49] Speaker 2: that wal mart. I said yes, sir. He said, I don't.
[14:53] Speaker 3: Like you right now, and please help me understand what happened.
[14:58] Speaker 3: He said, I am I'm a non believer. I offered
[15:03] Speaker 3: them six and a half million dollars for the building.
[15:08] Speaker 2: I said, you need to let me buy you.
[15:09] Speaker 3: Lunch, because there are some things you don't understand about
[15:13] Speaker 3: my king.
[15:15] Speaker 2: My king. My king doesn't work like that. You can't.
[15:18] Speaker 2: My king don't need no money. No, no, no, my.
[15:22] Speaker 3: King, he does not need any money, I said. I said,
[15:25] Speaker 3: God did not want to tire business there. He wanted
[15:28] Speaker 3: an embassy. This building is on the highest point of
[15:32] Speaker 3: our city. It is the high place, and the king
[15:36] Speaker 3: needed it. So I bought him lunch, and I said,
[15:40] Speaker 3: let me tell you about my king. When my king
[15:43] Speaker 3: opened doors a favor, no one can close them.
[15:47] Speaker 2: See what you see.
[15:48] Speaker 3: What you don't understand is this doctor Monroe invited us
[15:52] Speaker 3: into his aquarium.
[15:55] Speaker 2: And you have been. You have been.
[15:57] Speaker 3: Your gills have now been effected with fresh water. You
[16:02] Speaker 3: have now seen that you don't have to eat plankton anymore.
[16:05] Speaker 2: They're a bigger fish out there for you to know.
[16:07] Speaker 3: On So when you get home, there's gonna be stuff
[16:10] Speaker 3: you didn't see before. But when you get home, you're
[16:13] Speaker 3: gonna see it with your eyes. And now tell your neighbor.
[16:20] Speaker 3: When God gives you favor, it's not up to you.
[16:24] Speaker 2: When the stop.
[16:26] Speaker 3: See, favor is none of your business. Favor has nothing
[16:29] Speaker 3: to do with you, but everything to do with the king.
[16:31] Speaker 3: When the King comes upon you with favor, you can't
[16:34] Speaker 3: tell God. One business is enough. You can't tell God.
[16:37] Speaker 3: One academy ward is enough. You can't tell God won
[16:40] Speaker 3: NBA championship is enough. That is only up to the King.
[16:47] Speaker 3: He decides how much favor you need. That is not you,
[16:55] Speaker 3: that's him. Why does God want you? One million dollars
[16:58] Speaker 3: may not be enough? Oh you might be the number
[17:01] Speaker 3: God is given to you. Why because one day the
[17:03] Speaker 3: King is gonna come to you and ask for what
[17:06] Speaker 3: he gave you. Somebody say, favor, we gotta finire. Who
[17:13] Speaker 3: does favorite follow very simply. Favor follows the person who
[17:16] Speaker 3: has set their lives to cooperate with the will of
[17:18] Speaker 3: the king. Favor follows those who accept the new assignment.
[17:25] Speaker 3: Favor follows those who have said yes to the king.
[17:29] Speaker 3: They don't know what they're saying yes to. Because Jehovah
[17:34] Speaker 3: sneaky will he will get you in trouble. Y'all know
[17:38] Speaker 3: Jehovah sneaky will get you in trouble. God came to
[17:41] Speaker 3: Moses and said, listen, Moses, I want you to go
[17:43] Speaker 3: free those people. Yes, Lord, I'll go tell Pharaoh, let
[17:46] Speaker 3: thy people go. The next verse, God says, now you
[17:49] Speaker 3: go tell them to let them go, And I'm gonna
[17:51] Speaker 3: tell Pharaoh, don't let them go. So God can even
[17:57] Speaker 3: call you to do something that he's saying no. But
[18:00] Speaker 3: it doesn't matter if you're walking with the king. Yeah,
[18:05] Speaker 3: he's got a plan. But favor follows you when you
[18:09] Speaker 3: just say yes to the Lord. Listen, y'all got all
[18:11] Speaker 3: those in you, Yeah, listen to Daniel seven. I was watching,
[18:17] Speaker 3: and the same horn was making war against the Saints
[18:20] Speaker 3: and prevailing against them until the Ancient of days came
[18:23] Speaker 3: and a judgment was made in in in in favor
[18:31] Speaker 3: of the saints. And when God makes a decision for
[18:37] Speaker 3: your favor, can I tell you something the Bible said
[18:43] Speaker 3: of Daniel. Daniel found favor, and the King exalted him
[18:47] Speaker 3: above all the other governors. The Bible says that Esther
[18:50] Speaker 3: found favor in the sight of Boaz. The Bible says
[18:53] Speaker 3: that Joseph found favor in the eyes of Pharaoh. The
[18:57] Speaker 3: Bible says that Joseph found favor in the eyes as
[19:00] Speaker 3: a part of her. The Bible says of Mary, you
[19:02] Speaker 3: have been highly Favor comes to you when you've looked
[19:08] Speaker 3: in the king's face and said, King, whatever you're doing
[19:12] Speaker 3: is what I'm doing. Wherever you're going is where I'm going.
[19:16] Speaker 3: Whatever you're interested in is what I'm interested in.
[19:20] Speaker 2: The king shows up to you, he shows up where
[19:23] Speaker 2: you are.
[19:25] Speaker 3: The biggest part of favor that freaks me out a
[19:27] Speaker 3: little bit is Neomiyah.
[19:31] Speaker 2: Listen to this.
[19:33] Speaker 3: Neomiyah works for the king who has ravaged his city.
[19:39] Speaker 3: He's torn down the city and burnt the gates. But
[19:43] Speaker 3: Niomiyah praised this prayer. Lord, if I have found favor
[19:49] Speaker 3: not in the eyes of that king. His prayer is,
[19:54] Speaker 3: if I've found favor in the eyes of the king
[19:57] Speaker 3: of kings, tell him to bid my request. Nehemiah went
[20:01] Speaker 3: to the king who had burned his city and asked
[20:05] Speaker 3: for money to rebuild it. Why did God put me
[20:11] Speaker 3: in Omaha? I know why he put me in Omaha.
[20:14] Speaker 3: Omaha is the richest city per capita in the United States.
[20:17] Speaker 3: There are more millionaires in my city than there are
[20:19] Speaker 3: in any other city per capital There are more billionaires
[20:22] Speaker 3: in the fifty mile radius of Omaha than any other
[20:24] Speaker 3: city on the planet.
[20:26] Speaker 2: I'm telling you the truth.
[20:28] Speaker 3: God put me there to not only become a millionaire,
[20:31] Speaker 3: but to become a billionaire and to sap out of
[20:34] Speaker 3: warn Buffett and all these other people their money for
