[0:10] Speaker 1: You're listening to Crowning Ignorant Kings, a podcast for citizens
[0:14] Speaker 1: with like minds who love God, follow Christ, and have
[0:18] Speaker 1: a desire to be an ambassador for the Kingdom of
[0:22] Speaker 1: Heaven on earth. We are John and Charlene Donaldson, who
[0:26] Speaker 1: are teachers building a Kingdom community. Thank you again for
[0:30] Speaker 1: joining us. Now let's sudjust our crowns.
[0:40] Speaker 2: You do take a look at that the theology of
[0:44] Speaker 2: the Apostles. This is very important that we focus on
[0:48] Speaker 2: this because we need to know what the apostles taught,
[0:58] Speaker 2: what were their doctrine and uh, there was a question
[1:01] Speaker 2: last night about this, so let's look at uh the Kingdom,
[1:07] Speaker 2: theology of the Apostles, the Kingdom, Theodipoth. Those notes are
[1:13] Speaker 2: not in your package. My sessions would be given to
[1:16] Speaker 2: you at the end of the seminar. Okay, yeah, cause
[1:18] Speaker 2: I want you to listen to me and take notes.
[1:23] Speaker 2: I'm smart.
[1:26] Speaker 3: Uh.
[1:28] Speaker 2: The focus of the disciples, what.
[1:33] Speaker 3: Was their message?
[1:37] Speaker 2: Jesus chose twelve disciples, he lost one, and he poured
[1:44] Speaker 2: his life into these students. Again, he called them disciples,
[1:50] Speaker 2: so they were his students and he was teaching them
[1:55] Speaker 2: his ideology, his philosophy and his idea. Now, I'm gonna
[2:02] Speaker 2: give you a lot of scripture, not a lot of
[2:04] Speaker 2: my comments, because I want you to see from your
[2:08] Speaker 2: own Bible what they taught. I want to begin by
[2:12] Speaker 2: talking about what he considered to be their privileged position.
[2:19] Speaker 2: This is very exciting. They were with him for three
[2:24] Speaker 2: and a half years and he poured himself into them.
[2:31] Speaker 2: And I think we saw in my last session with
[2:34] Speaker 2: you what his theology was. We claar on that, right,
[2:37] Speaker 2: I mean, we know what he taught. We all clear
[2:39] Speaker 2: on that. We know his idea.
[2:40] Speaker 3: What was his idea? The Kingdom of God, no question
[2:44] Speaker 3: about it.
[2:44] Speaker 2: That was his idea. So the question is did they
[2:48] Speaker 2: get it?
[2:50] Speaker 3: Now?
[2:51] Speaker 2: This comment I'm about to read, it's interesting. This is
[2:53] Speaker 2: found in Matthew chapter thirteen. One of the most important
[2:57] Speaker 2: chapters I want you to memorize is Matthew thirteen because
[3:02] Speaker 2: Matthew thirteen is one of those teaching moments. Jesus normally
[3:10] Speaker 2: create classes out of questions, and this is the best
[3:16] Speaker 2: way to train people. You train people not by necessarily
[3:21] Speaker 2: offering information, but letting them asks a question. A few
[3:25] Speaker 2: moments ago, we were in the boardroom and one of
[3:28] Speaker 2: my mentees here asks me a question. Thirty minutes later,
[3:35] Speaker 2: there was a lesson. When you ask a question, you
[3:39] Speaker 2: create a classroom.
[3:41] Speaker 3: Write that down. Remember that.
[3:42] Speaker 2: So what you want to do to share your ideas
[3:45] Speaker 2: with people is to get them to ask you questions.
[3:49] Speaker 2: When you volunteer your opinion and ideas to people, you
[3:52] Speaker 2: could offend them.
[3:54] Speaker 3: But if they ask questions, they created the classroom.
[3:58] Speaker 2: So in chapter thirteen MM, a classroom was created by
[4:02] Speaker 2: a question. The question was, why do you speak to
[4:05] Speaker 2: these people in parables and you speak to us plainly?
[4:10] Speaker 2: That question came from his students. You'd remember that every
[4:15] Speaker 2: time Jesus Christ taught to multitudes, he didn't speak to
[4:19] Speaker 2: them plainly. He would talk to them in these little stories. Uh.
[4:24] Speaker 3: We call 'em parabolic language stories. Uh. A parable is
[4:29] Speaker 3: a short story.
[4:34] Speaker 2: That people can relate to, but it conceals the truth.
[4:42] Speaker 3: Should you get that?
[4:43] Speaker 2: A parable is not designed to expose the truth.
[4:47] Speaker 3: It is designed to hide it. And there's a reason why.
[4:54] Speaker 2: A parable is designed for you to carry truth wrapped
[4:57] Speaker 2: in a little story with you and till you are
[5:00] Speaker 2: ready to open it.
[5:03] Speaker 3: It's like a little package. The reason for that is.
[5:07] Speaker 2: The principle of knowledge is nothing is yours until you
[5:13] Speaker 2: discover it.
[5:14] Speaker 3: So that's the reason for a powable.
[5:16] Speaker 2: A parable is giving someone something they need that they
[5:20] Speaker 2: don't think they're ready for yet.
[5:25] Speaker 3: Hope that's making sense.
[5:26] Speaker 2: So a parable is very powerful because it helps you
[5:29] Speaker 2: to carry the truth with you and then one day
[5:33] Speaker 2: you have a defining moment experience where you say, ah,
[5:39] Speaker 2: that's what he meant, then it's yours. Secondly, a parable
[5:45] Speaker 2: is given to people who have no interest in the truth.
[5:49] Speaker 3: Yet.
[5:53] Speaker 2: The reason for that is because you don't put your
[5:57] Speaker 2: pearls before, you know. I speak to a lot of
[6:03] Speaker 2: different groups and forums, different environments and different professional areas,
[6:08] Speaker 2: and I give those people heavier parables, and then I leave.
[6:13] Speaker 2: I leave, I go back to my country, and then
[6:17] Speaker 2: ten weeks later I'll get an email and you know
[6:20] Speaker 2: this CEO would write me and say, you know, I
[6:23] Speaker 2: finally understood what he was trying to tell me.
[6:26] Speaker 3: I just give them a story.
[6:31] Speaker 2: So sometimes when you want to share the kingdom, you
[6:34] Speaker 2: need to really not just tell everybody because they're not
[6:38] Speaker 2: ready for it. So give them a story, give them
[6:42] Speaker 2: a parable. So here in this chapter he'd given them
[6:47] Speaker 2: a parable. He talks about this, soa now I remember
[6:52] Speaker 2: he's talking to the multitude, not his disciples, and he
[6:55] Speaker 2: tells them this story about this soa who goes to
[6:58] Speaker 2: soul and we all know the story where some of
[7:00] Speaker 2: the seeds fell and good for soil and rock, and
[7:03] Speaker 2: you know, some fell among weeds, and and he's telling
[7:06] Speaker 2: this story, and he talked about, you know, this farmer
[7:10] Speaker 2: benefiting from the ones who actually got it. Now, by
[7:15] Speaker 2: the way, this parable is very important.
[7:17] Speaker 3: The powable is about the kingdom.
[7:18] Speaker 2: It's not about it's not about seed, you know, planning
[7:21] Speaker 2: and giving all the stuff you use to get money.
[7:24] Speaker 3: This probable is about the kingdom. All right, Oh boy,
[7:30] Speaker 3: I'm in trouble already. I'm trying to find a bible
[7:33] Speaker 3: to protect myself. Uh. Turned to Matthew thirteen.
[7:38] Speaker 2: I wanted to see this cause this is this is
[7:40] Speaker 2: this is a teaching moment here, Matthew thirteen.
[7:44] Speaker 3: He begins the whole chapter with a parable.
[7:47] Speaker 2: On the same day, he went out of the house
[7:50] Speaker 2: and sat by the sea.
[7:52] Speaker 3: It's verse one.
[7:54] Speaker 2: A great multitude were gathering together to him, so that
[8:00] Speaker 2: he got into a boat because the crowd became so big.
[8:04] Speaker 3: And from the boat he began to teach them. Okay,
[8:11] Speaker 3: he spoke to them many things. That means that there's
[8:13] Speaker 3: some things that are.
[8:14] Speaker 2: Not even recorded. I wish I was there because we
[8:17] Speaker 2: missed some stuff. This is just one of the stories
[8:19] Speaker 2: that they caught. So he might have been teaching for hours,
[8:22] Speaker 2: we don't know, but this story they remembered. He taught
[8:26] Speaker 2: this one. He says, look a soa souls went out
[8:29] Speaker 2: to sew and he sold et cetera, et cetera. Now
[8:31] Speaker 2: this is not for you to use to collect offerings. Nah,
[8:35] Speaker 2: if you don't believe me, you don't believe me. Let's
[8:39] Speaker 2: read what he says. The parable is about mm Jesus
[8:43] Speaker 2: said in verse eighteen. Therefore here with the power of
[8:50] Speaker 2: the sol means So he's telling us what it means.
[8:52] Speaker 3: You don't need to invent no simon on.
[8:55] Speaker 2: This thing, yes, cause the disciple says, look, explain ain't
[9:00] Speaker 2: as terrible to us.
[9:01] Speaker 3: Read the next verse.
[9:02] Speaker 2: He says, when anyone here is what the message of
[9:05] Speaker 2: the king So he said this thing is about the
[9:07] Speaker 2: message of the kingdom. He says that when you teach
[9:13] Speaker 2: the message of the kingdom like a group like this,
[9:18] Speaker 2: he says, twenty five percent will get excited but won't
[9:21] Speaker 2: remember it. Twenty five percent will say they got it,
[9:25] Speaker 2: but they'll lose it. Twenty five percent will run with it,
[9:29] Speaker 2: but under pressure it'll go away, go back to their
[9:32] Speaker 2: old religion and stuff, and then only twenty five percent
[9:35] Speaker 2: will really get it and they benefit. So whenever you
[9:39] Speaker 2: teach the Kingdom of God, don't expect the whole group
[9:42] Speaker 2: to get it.
[9:45] Speaker 3: So in this room, I.
[9:47] Speaker 2: Really expect twenty five percent of y'all.
[9:49] Speaker 3: To get what're we talking about this week? He not terrible.
[9:55] Speaker 2: What makes leaders depressed is they want everyone to get it.
[10:00] Speaker 2: Christ says, look, lower your expectation. Not everyone's gonna get it.
[10:08] Speaker 2: Even some folks who listen to me teacher on the
[10:10] Speaker 2: king to get excited, you know, and then they go
[10:12] Speaker 2: back to their church and they go right back into
[10:14] Speaker 2: the old thing. So, you know, he says, some are
[10:17] Speaker 2: choked because of the cares that.
[10:20] Speaker 3: They get involved in.
[10:21] Speaker 2: Some of them get excited, and the sun comes and
[10:23] Speaker 2: scorch it and dries it back up, and.
[10:25] Speaker 3: Then the twenty five percent gets it. Okay, but here's
[10:29] Speaker 3: my point. If you look at.
[10:31] Speaker 2: The hardest chapter ends, he begins to tell them that
[10:35] Speaker 2: they are privileged.
[10:38] Speaker 3: And this is important.
[10:40] Speaker 2: He was teaching them on what the kingdom for three
[10:43] Speaker 2: and a half years, and he says.
[10:50] Speaker 3: Verse ten.
[10:52] Speaker 2: They ask him, why do you speak to the people
[10:54] Speaker 2: in parables, but you speak to us plainly.
[10:57] Speaker 3: He said, because it has been given to you to
[10:59] Speaker 3: know what of what?
[11:03] Speaker 2: N don't don't underline that. He said, this whole thing
[11:06] Speaker 2: is about the kingdom message. It's been given to you
[11:13] Speaker 2: only to.
[11:13] Speaker 3: Know the mischief of the kingdom, but not to them.
[11:16] Speaker 2: Look at it outside. Now, what's he talking about. You
[11:19] Speaker 2: got thousand people a p perhaps around him, and you
[11:22] Speaker 2: got these twelve guys. And he said, look, I'm gonna
[11:24] Speaker 2: gonna tell twelve the real information.
[11:28] Speaker 3: Mm. Those ten thousand, I'm gonna give them stories. Now
[11:34] Speaker 3: he tells them. Why, he said, because.
[11:38] Speaker 2: Whoever has to him or would be given, but he
[11:44] Speaker 2: who does not have even.
[11:46] Speaker 3: What he has, he will lose. Okay, what's he just said.
[11:50] Speaker 3: Here's he's saying.
[11:51] Speaker 2: He said, the reason why you guys are getting all
[11:53] Speaker 2: this information is because you have a desire to know
[12:01] Speaker 2: the information. You left your families, you left your fishing business,
[12:06] Speaker 2: you left your tax office, Matthew, you left your family. Look,
[12:09] Speaker 2: you left and you came and followed me. You decided
[12:13] Speaker 2: to pursue this information. That's why I'm gonna tell you
[12:16] Speaker 2: the information. God responds to desire and hunger, not to
[12:22] Speaker 2: casual interests. He's telling them because you have a desired
[12:28] Speaker 2: in a know to know. I'm gonna tell you what
[12:31] Speaker 2: I know. Those people they interested. They just come because
[12:35] Speaker 2: they're excited about the miracles and the free bread.
[12:38] Speaker 3: And fish and you know what they can get.
[12:39] Speaker 2: They're not interested in in what I really have to
[12:41] Speaker 2: deliver them yet, So I give them stories.
[12:44] Speaker 3: You I give the real thing. So you get two
[12:47] Speaker 3: groups all the time.
[12:49] Speaker 2: Some of you may have come here just skeptical to
[12:52] Speaker 2: check to see what I'm doing.
[12:53] Speaker 3: Some of you, and that's in every crowd. There's some
[12:55] Speaker 3: folks who come.
[12:56] Speaker 2: Just to see, let me see what's going on here,
[12:57] Speaker 2: let me see what He's doing.
[12:58] Speaker 3: And that's fine.
[13:00] Speaker 2: So you wanna get parables. But look at this room
[13:08] Speaker 2: of people who travel from twenty countries. Someone gotta pay,
[13:11] Speaker 2: you know, so much money to get here. You think
[13:13] Speaker 2: God's gonna let them go back empty. They have a hunger,
[13:19] Speaker 2: so he will give you what mysteries he says. It's
[13:23] Speaker 2: up to you. You will know the mysteries, which means
[13:25] Speaker 2: it ain't mysteries to you no more. It's a mystery
[13:28] Speaker 2: to them who are not here. It's gonna be clear
[13:32] Speaker 2: to you all right now. But watch the next verse
[13:36] Speaker 2: for sixteen. He says, But blessed are your eyes because
[13:42] Speaker 2: they see on your ears, because they hear.
[13:46] Speaker 3: Keep reading, because I tell you the truth.
[13:50] Speaker 2: Many prophets, Now this is deep and righteous. Men long
[13:56] Speaker 2: to see what you see, but did not see it.
[13:59] Speaker 2: And I wanted to hear what you hear, and didn't
[14:03] Speaker 2: hear it. We gotta pause on this verse of a second.
[14:06] Speaker 2: He ran back into history and picked up Moses, Daniel, Joseph, Amos, Obidiah, Jonah,
[14:13] Speaker 2: Michaeh Naam Obaka, Seph, and Iah, Hageaa, Zachariyah Malakai. He
[14:17] Speaker 2: picked up all up, and he says, look, they didn't
[14:20] Speaker 2: get this. They prophesied, they talked about it, but they
[14:25] Speaker 2: never quite got it.
[14:28] Speaker 3: God. What this kingdom message?
[14:31] Speaker 2: They got little glimpses of it, Some of them saw
[14:33] Speaker 2: little bits of it. He said, But you guys got
[14:35] Speaker 2: the real message. You got the Kingdom of God message.
[14:39] Speaker 3: You got it. You got more than Joseph and Moses.
[14:45] Speaker 3: That's what he's talking about you are greater than Moses.
[14:47] Speaker 3: In this room. He even put John in that category. Now,
[14:56] Speaker 3: now Joama was the.
[14:56] Speaker 2: Last prophet of the Old Testament, except John was also
[15:01] Speaker 2: a New Testament prophet, so he had his foot in
[15:04] Speaker 2: Malachi on one foot in Matthew. He's the only prophet
[15:07] Speaker 2: who was in both errors. That's why Christ says, there's
[15:14] Speaker 2: no greater profit than John. He's greater than all the prophets.
[15:16] Speaker 2: Why he actually Prophesiet he's coming, that's the Old Testament.
[15:20] Speaker 2: And then he says, there he is. He actually was
[15:23] Speaker 2: able to see it happen. But then he says, the
[15:28] Speaker 2: least in the kingdom is greater than John.
[15:31] Speaker 3: Okay, so now this gets deep here.
[15:33] Speaker 2: He called John the greatest, and call you greater than
[15:36] Speaker 2: John because you you're not prophesying it, you're supposed to
[15:40] Speaker 2: live in it. So he's telling them you are privileged
[15:52] Speaker 2: above every prophet, a righteous.
[15:55] Speaker 3: Man like Abraham is a righteous man. He says, you
[15:57] Speaker 3: greater than Abraham, greater.
[15:58] Speaker 2: Than Job because all of them were behind the announcement.
[16:04] Speaker 3: You're looking back at the fulfillment of it. The kingdom
[16:07] Speaker 3: is here. You're not talking about it. You are in it.
[16:16] Speaker 3: Are you following this? Okay?
[16:18] Speaker 2: So watch this next verse, he says Matthew eleven. At
[16:23] Speaker 2: that time, I guess another privileged statement. He said, you
[16:25] Speaker 2: are a privileged At that time, Jesus answered and said,
[16:28] Speaker 2: I thank you, O, Father, Lord of Heaven. He's praying
[16:31] Speaker 2: for these guys now because you have hid these things,
[16:35] Speaker 2: these kingdom revelations, from the wise and the prudent, and
[16:41] Speaker 2: have revealed them the babes he's talking, he's talking about
[16:46] Speaker 2: his disciples. He said, these uneducated, unschooled, simple businessmen, fishermen,
[16:57] Speaker 2: their hunger.
[17:00] Speaker 3: Made them more valuable than the scholars.
[17:08] Speaker 2: You're being here makes you wiser and more privileged than
[17:17] Speaker 2: anyone with a PhD from the highest theological seminary in
[17:21] Speaker 2: the world, because they have theology information that a related
[17:26] Speaker 2: to the kingdom. Having a PhD doesn't impress me anymore.
[17:35] Speaker 2: That means you are exploit in some kind of information.
[17:38] Speaker 2: I don't know what it is. I don't know if
[17:39] Speaker 2: it's right, but you're an expert in some kind of information.
[17:42] Speaker 2: So he's saying to them, you are smarter than the
[17:47] Speaker 2: wise men and above those who think they are prudent.
[17:56] Speaker 2: Verse twenty six, he says father, that same good to
[17:58] Speaker 2: you to just tell these people who just wanna know. Well, Uh,
[18:06] Speaker 2: I had two universities that called me, wrote me rather,
[18:10] Speaker 2: and uh one of 'em called cause they wanna use
[18:12] Speaker 2: my books in their seminary.
[18:14] Speaker 3: I was very happy to hear that, very happy. Uh.
[18:19] Speaker 2: But you know the average school, they they wanna go
[18:21] Speaker 2: after Saint Augustin and the German theologians and the deep
[18:24] Speaker 2: guys who don't talk about the Kingdom.
[18:31] Speaker 3: The wise and the prudent is not getting what you're getting.
[18:34] Speaker 2: That's what he's saying, Cause you got the real original idea.
[18:40] Speaker 2: You're getting the theology of God, which is the Kingdom.
[18:43] Speaker 3: Alright, So did they get it? That's the question.
[18:48] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ went to the cross, he died on the cross.
[18:51] Speaker 2: His work is ending on earth, and he's leaving. He
[18:56] Speaker 2: goes to the to the grave, and he rose again
[19:00] Speaker 2: on the third day. He comes back, and I want
[19:02] Speaker 2: to read what I call the Big Transfer. He meets
[19:06] Speaker 2: with them after the resurrection. Now, he taught them the
[19:09] Speaker 2: kingdom all during the pre crucifixion life, and he comes
[19:15] Speaker 2: back after the crucifixion, and did his message change?
[19:18] Speaker 3: Is the question?
[19:20] Speaker 2: Okay, let's read it acts chapter one, verse three, after
[19:25] Speaker 2: his suffering that means his death and burial and everything,
[19:30] Speaker 2: he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing.
[19:33] Speaker 3: Proofs that he was alive. He's resurrected. He appeared to
[19:37] Speaker 3: them over a per to forty days.
[19:41] Speaker 2: Now we don't know where they where they were, and
[19:43] Speaker 2: what they were doing, but at.
[19:45] Speaker 3: Least they tell us what he was doing.
[19:48] Speaker 2: What did he do with them for forty days after
[19:50] Speaker 2: the resurrection, it tells us. And apparently Luke who wrote this,
[19:56] Speaker 2: either was there.
[19:58] Speaker 3: Or the guy I told him what was going on.
[20:02] Speaker 2: He says he spent forty days speaking to them about
[20:06] Speaker 2: one subject, the Kingdom of God.
[20:11] Speaker 3: Now, I guess I could rest my case here.
[20:14] Speaker 2: We could close the court room and go home, because
[20:19] Speaker 2: even the death and resurrection couldn't change his message.
[20:25] Speaker 3: Can I get a little bit on dangerous ground?
[20:30] Speaker 2: All right, I'm gonna walk on a little dangerous ground here. Okay,
[20:37] Speaker 2: he did not preach to them or teach them about
[20:40] Speaker 2: the resurrection.
[20:42] Speaker 3: Now let's be on. Let me ba babay bay bay baby.
[20:45] Speaker 3: Don't you think if you rose from the dead, I'm
[20:51] Speaker 3: gonna get in trouble here? Now?
[20:52] Speaker 2: I mean, if you rose from the dead, what can
[20:56] Speaker 2: be a better message to talk about.
[20:58] Speaker 3: He didn't talk about it. He talked about but the kingdom.
[21:01] Speaker 3: The kingdom is more important than the resurrection of Jesus
[21:04] Speaker 3: in Jesus' mind. Oh boy, treading? Eh, he didn't say.
[21:17] Speaker 2: I went down in the bowels of Hell and took
[21:19] Speaker 2: the keys of death held and the grave from the devil,
[21:22] Speaker 2: and I walked out, and I unlocked the gates of
[21:24] Speaker 2: all those who were bound and devil and Hell, and
[21:27] Speaker 2: I released Peter and James. I released you know, Joseph,
[21:30] Speaker 2: I released most. He says, Look, let's talk about the
[21:33] Speaker 2: kingdom again. All that I did was for this kingdom.
[21:44] Speaker 2: He was telling them, this will be your theology, this
[21:47] Speaker 2: will be what you teach you.
[21:51] Speaker 3: Now. How come he didn't.
[21:52] Speaker 2: Say to them, go and tell the world I've raised.
[21:55] Speaker 3: From the dead. That aout the instruction.
[22:02] Speaker 2: I'm I'm treading here, because you see, when you read
[22:06] Speaker 2: the first five or six chapters of Acts, the resurrection
[22:10] Speaker 2: became the over shouting, overshadowing message. M And if you
[22:18] Speaker 2: study the church today, including the Catholic Church, the resurrection
[22:22] Speaker 2: is the big message.
[22:23] Speaker 3: Yeah, not the kingdom. Yeah. To him, that was not
[22:36] Speaker 3: the message. N The resurrection is a great victory. Thank
[22:39] Speaker 3: God for the resurrection. But he was stuck on this message.
[22:45] Speaker 3: Can you imagine a guy.
[22:47] Speaker 2: Boddy come back together, m recomposed body.
[22:51] Speaker 3: Then come on, let's talk about what happened to you. No, no, no,
[22:55] Speaker 3: let's talk of the kingdom. He says.
[23:01] Speaker 2: He wanted the apostles to get the right message. They
[23:07] Speaker 2: ran off talking about what happened to him and not
[23:10] Speaker 2: what he said.
[23:13] Speaker 3: Can I say something again? I'm treading here. Can I
[23:16] Speaker 3: say something that's very important?
[23:18] Speaker 2: Jesus never told us to preach his miracles. Now I
[23:23] Speaker 2: want you to go back, you passes and listen to
[23:26] Speaker 2: your last ten years of sermons, and eighty percent of
[23:29] Speaker 2: them are about his miracles. And the blind man cried out, Sna, David,
[23:35] Speaker 2: have mercy on me.
[23:37] Speaker 3: Mm. The people said shut up, and.
[23:40] Speaker 2: The young man said a SNA David. Somebody say, David, hm,
[23:44] Speaker 2: are you.
[23:45] Speaker 3: Preaching this thing? And christis where's the kingdom?
[23:47] Speaker 2: Method woman thou Art loosed, where's the kingdom?
[24:00] Speaker 3: Oh?
[24:00] Speaker 2: But we sure a shout on that, didn't We shot
[24:02] Speaker 2: on that kind of message? Largers came forth and Jesus said,
[24:07] Speaker 2: loose him and let him go. Somebody say, loose, loosen.
[24:12] Speaker 2: I believe today you bound up with your problems.
[24:15] Speaker 3: But God has sent me to tell you he want
[24:18] Speaker 3: to lose you. That ain't the kingdom message. It's a
[24:20] Speaker 3: nice miracle.
[24:22] Speaker 2: You can preach it for an hour, but it's still
[24:24] Speaker 2: not the kingdom message.
[24:32] Speaker 3: So Christ is very specific.
[24:35] Speaker 2: He said to this. He said to his students, go
[24:40] Speaker 2: and preach this message. The Kingdom of Heaven has arrived.
[24:45] Speaker 2: He was specific. Take a deep bread you need it.
[24:56] Speaker 2: Just destroyed all your sermons, right, yeah, get back to
[24:58] Speaker 2: the real thing. That's the real thing there. Now did
[25:02] Speaker 2: they get it?
[25:03] Speaker 3: Let's look at Philip first.
[25:04] Speaker 2: He's the first one I think that you know, really
[25:07] Speaker 2: mentions it. Uh Acts eight, verse eleven. Did the apostles
[25:11] Speaker 2: preach the kingdom? Well, let's see Acts eight, verse eleven.
[25:14] Speaker 2: Philip went out. He was considered to be an evangelist.
[25:19] Speaker 2: Of course, Philip was a very influential disciple, it says,
[25:24] Speaker 2: but when they believed Philip as he preached what the
[25:28] Speaker 2: good news of the Kingdom.
[25:30] Speaker 3: Now, good news means what gospel?
[25:33] Speaker 2: You should never use the word gospel without UH defining it.
[25:41] Speaker 2: There's no such thing as preaching the gospel that doesn't exist.
[25:46] Speaker 3: The word gospel means what good news. I don't know
[25:49] Speaker 3: what you're talking about. This. I preached the gospels. That
[25:50] Speaker 3: means okay, so you gotta raise.
[25:53] Speaker 2: That's that's gospel. You got promoted on your job, that's gospel.
[25:57] Speaker 2: The doctor says that the cancer is gone, that's gods.
[26:00] Speaker 2: In other words, gospel simply means good news, any kind
[26:03] Speaker 2: of good news. But when you read Jesus's words, he
[26:06] Speaker 2: would say, I must preach the good news of.
[26:10] Speaker 3: The Kingdom to other towns.
[26:12] Speaker 2: Also in other ways, the good news has to be defined.
[26:20] Speaker 2: So when someone tells you I preach the gospel, you
[26:22] Speaker 2: should answer which one? What did Philip preach the gospel
[26:32] Speaker 2: of the kingdom and he preached the name of Jesus afterwards.
[26:38] Speaker 2: By the way, that's a pattern you will see in
[26:40] Speaker 2: a minute. Kingdom first, Jesus afterwards. The church has reversed it.
[26:47] Speaker 2: Jesus first and nothing else. You preach what the kingdom first,
[26:54] Speaker 2: then you explain about Jesus.
[26:58] Speaker 3: But the poor preach Paul and Barnabas. I like this one.
[27:01] Speaker 2: It says Paul and Barnabas, they preached the good news
[27:04] Speaker 2: the gospel in that city and Warren a large number
[27:07] Speaker 2: of disciples students. Then they returned to Listra, Iconium and Antioch,
[27:13] Speaker 2: strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to
[27:16] Speaker 2: the faith.
[27:17] Speaker 3: Quote, we must go through.
[27:19] Speaker 2: Many hardships, they say, to enter the Kingdom of God.
[27:23] Speaker 2: So here we see early in the church there's a
[27:25] Speaker 2: consciousness that they believe the Kingdom was here. Now, I
[27:33] Speaker 2: think those who have been studying theology a little bit
[27:36] Speaker 2: would probably remember that you've been taught that it's true
[27:40] Speaker 2: or not.
[27:40] Speaker 3: We've been taught in.
[27:41] Speaker 2: Theological studies that, you know. Peter and Paul and these
[27:45] Speaker 2: guys became a little bit frustrated. They became disillusioned because
[27:51] Speaker 2: they expected Jesus to come in their lifetime. Okay, Jesus
[27:57] Speaker 2: specifically told them that you know that hour is not
[27:59] Speaker 2: in your calendar, none of your business.
[28:01] Speaker 3: You go ahead and do what you have to do.
[28:03] Speaker 3: You appreciate the kingdom.
[28:04] Speaker 2: But they expected Christ to come in their lifetime, and
[28:06] Speaker 2: there were different things that caused.
[28:07] Speaker 3: That to happen.
[28:08] Speaker 2: Of course, persecution was a big part of that. You know,
[28:10] Speaker 2: I mean you're being persecuted and Christ he's with you
[28:13] Speaker 2: and you in prison and they're gonna feed you the lions.
[28:15] Speaker 2: You began to think, Hey, God, come get me out
[28:16] Speaker 2: of here. So there's this this sense they say that
[28:20] Speaker 2: was there in the early Church where they wanted choose
[28:23] Speaker 2: to come back right then to deliver them from the
[28:25] Speaker 2: persecution of Rome and other persecutions that they went through.
[28:28] Speaker 2: And so there was this sense that he's coming back now.
[28:30] Speaker 2: But here we see the early Church where they at
[28:32] Speaker 2: least had the the awareness that the kingdom was there
[28:36] Speaker 2: now and you gotta go through, you know, the conflict
[28:38] Speaker 2: because it's two different cultures.
[28:40] Speaker 3: Cultures are clashing.
[28:43] Speaker 2: To me, persecution is when a Chinaman meets someone from
[28:49] Speaker 2: New York, you know, and the Chinaman acts for sushi
[28:56] Speaker 2: and the New York acts of Chinese for a hot dog.
[29:00] Speaker 3: That's you know, that's conflict. Yeah.
[29:03] Speaker 2: So that's how different we are from the world. We
[29:05] Speaker 2: are from another country called Heaven. Our culture is different,
[29:09] Speaker 2: and the persecution is nothing we create. It's natural. You steal,
[29:14] Speaker 2: I don't steal. Mm, you commit adultry. I don't commit adultery.
[29:17] Speaker 2: Now you mad at me because you feel guilty committing it,
[29:20] Speaker 2: till you mad at me cause I don't. So that conflict,
[29:22] Speaker 2: that persecution is natural. We just two different cultures. You
[29:26] Speaker 2: don't go around creating persecutions.
[29:28] Speaker 3: What I'm saying, Yeah, right, you from a different country.
[29:36] Speaker 2: So here we see Barnabas and poor telling the people, look,
[29:43] Speaker 2: you guys are part of another country, so expect hardship
[29:47] Speaker 2: when you come into this country.
[29:49] Speaker 3: Call Heaven you are different. Okay.
[29:52] Speaker 2: Now, I believe later on, based on what I read
[29:55] Speaker 2: in the scripture itself, that they begin to to push
[29:58] Speaker 2: that off into the future because you know, Jesus didn't
[30:03] Speaker 2: show up in their lot of years.
[30:07] Speaker 3: All right, let's take a look at Paul.
[30:10] Speaker 2: Romans, Chapter fourteen, verse seventeen. Did the apostles what was
[30:14] Speaker 2: their theology? Paul says, for the Kingdom of God is
[30:17] Speaker 2: not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace,
[30:20] Speaker 2: and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves
[30:23] Speaker 2: Christ in this way is pleasing to.
[30:24] Speaker 3: God and approved by men.
[30:27] Speaker 2: So Paul again is referencing in his mind, telling the
[30:30] Speaker 2: people that there is such a thing as the Kingdom
[30:33] Speaker 2: of God, and it is real, and it's not just
[30:37] Speaker 2: a matter of you know, eating and drinking and you know,
[30:40] Speaker 2: wearing clothes. It's a reality of a life. Okay, so
[30:46] Speaker 2: again we still see him. We just awareness of the kingdom.
[30:50] Speaker 2: And by the way, I think Paul probably had an
[30:53] Speaker 2: affinity with kingdom concepts a little bit more than Peter,
[30:57] Speaker 2: because Paul was a Roman citizen Peter was not. So
[31:02] Speaker 2: Paul even had more of an idea of the message
[31:05] Speaker 2: of Jesus, even though he didn't deal with Christ personally
[31:08] Speaker 2: like the others did for.
[31:09] Speaker 3: Three years three and a half years.
[31:11] Speaker 2: But you'll find Paul referring to the Kingdom even more
[31:14] Speaker 2: often than the other disciples because of his history. All right,
[31:19] Speaker 2: but here we say another one. First Corinthians four, verse eighteen.
[31:23] Speaker 2: Let's read together, some of you have become arrogant, and
[31:27] Speaker 2: if I were not coming to you, as if I
[31:29] Speaker 2: wasn't coming to you, but I will come to you
[31:31] Speaker 2: very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I
[31:33] Speaker 2: will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking,
[31:36] Speaker 2: but what power they have, because the Kingdom of God
[31:40] Speaker 2: is not a.
[31:40] Speaker 3: Matter of talk. But okay, again he's referring. He says.
[31:44] Speaker 2: Look, by the way, this statement implies that he believed
[31:47] Speaker 2: the Kingdom was present, So again he had an awareness.
[31:55] Speaker 2: The Kingdom of God is here would the poor preach.
[32:02] Speaker 2: Did Paul preach it? Very refers to it. Let's read
[32:04] Speaker 2: another one first, Chris in sixty nine read do you
[32:07] Speaker 2: not know that the wicked will not inherit what the
[32:10] Speaker 2: Kingdom of God?
[32:11] Speaker 3: Do not be deceived?
[32:12] Speaker 2: Neither the sexual immoral, nor the yet idolators, nor adulteress,
[32:16] Speaker 2: nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor greedy,
[32:20] Speaker 2: nor drunkards, nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom
[32:24] Speaker 2: of God. But this is what some of you were
[32:28] Speaker 2: used to be that in the other culture.
[32:31] Speaker 3: But now you've.
[32:32] Speaker 2: Been washed, you were scientified, you were justified in the
[32:34] Speaker 2: name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit
[32:37] Speaker 2: of God. In other words, he's contrasting the two cultures
[32:40] Speaker 2: or two different kingdoms. So again there's an awareness he
[32:45] Speaker 2: preached the kingdom. Let's see if he preached the kingdom
[32:49] Speaker 2: specifically Galatians five nineteen. The acts of the sinful nature
[32:55] Speaker 2: are what obvious Paul says. Again, he's referred his contrast
[33:00] Speaker 2: think cultures, which we'll get to later on in.
[33:03] Speaker 3: This next couple of days.
[33:04] Speaker 2: Made this can be important for you, But this is
[33:06] Speaker 2: important statement here about the contrasts.
[33:10] Speaker 3: Let's read it together.
[33:12] Speaker 2: The acts of the sinful nature are obvious sexual impurity, immorality, impurity, debaucherary,
[33:18] Speaker 2: idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions,
[33:25] Speaker 2: factions and envy, and drunkenness.
[33:27] Speaker 3: And orgies and the like. He made all that was.
[33:30] Speaker 2: Going on in them days. Mm hmm, and it's going
[33:33] Speaker 2: on in your city right now too. He says what
[33:37] Speaker 2: I warn you, as I did before, that those who
[33:41] Speaker 2: live like this are not inherent kingdom lifestyle. He is
[33:45] Speaker 2: again referring to this kingdom as the distinction. Your lifestyle
[33:50] Speaker 2: is different because you are in another country.
[33:53] Speaker 3: You belong to another country, your culture is different.
[33:56] Speaker 2: So we are cognizant that poor and the disciples were aware.
[34:01] Speaker 2: I've gotta take a look at this one Epheesians five
[34:03] Speaker 2: to five red. For of this you can be sure
[34:07] Speaker 2: no I moral, impure or greedy person. Such a man
[34:11] Speaker 2: is an idolator, as an idolator has any inheritance.
[34:15] Speaker 3: In the Kingdom of Christ and of God Colossians for eleven.
[34:18] Speaker 2: Jesus, who is called Justice, that's one of his workers,
[34:22] Speaker 2: also sends you greetings.
[34:23] Speaker 3: Paul says, these are the only.
[34:25] Speaker 2: Jews among my fellow workers for the Kingdom of God,
[34:30] Speaker 2: that they have proved comfort to me. Now, notice, Paul says,
[34:33] Speaker 2: I'm working for what the Kingdom of God. Again, he
[34:37] Speaker 2: sees himself as a worker for a country, so he's aware.
[34:44] Speaker 3: All right, Let's get.
[34:45] Speaker 2: Some directed statements Colossians one twelve. Some you never saw
[34:50] Speaker 2: these verses before giving thanks to the Father who has
[34:53] Speaker 2: qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints
[34:56] Speaker 2: in the Kingdom of Light. For he has rescued us
[34:59] Speaker 2: from the dominion of darkness and bought us into the
[35:03] Speaker 2: kingdom of his son, whom he loves, in whom we
[35:07] Speaker 2: have redemntion, and the forgiven the sins. Paul sees our
[35:11] Speaker 2: life as being transferred from one country to another country.
[35:16] Speaker 3: A kingdom is a country, not a religion.
[35:19] Speaker 2: When you change countries, you gotta adjust to the laws
[35:23] Speaker 2: of that country, which means that.
[35:25] Speaker 3: You actually develop a new culture. That's what he's talking about.
[35:29] Speaker 2: Contrast, what did Paul preach Acts twenty eight twenty three?
[35:33] Speaker 2: Everybody read go They arranged to meet Paul on a
[35:36] Speaker 2: certain day and came in even larger numbers to the
[35:39] Speaker 2: place where.
[35:39] Speaker 3: He was staying from morning till evening. He explained and declared.
[35:43] Speaker 2: To them what the Kingdom of God, and then tried
[35:46] Speaker 2: to convince them about Jesus Christ, from the law of
[35:49] Speaker 2: Moses and from the prophet. Notice, kingdom first Jesus. Afterwards,
[35:53] Speaker 2: all right, let's check an out verse Acts nineteen eight reed.
[35:57] Speaker 2: Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for how long?
[36:01] Speaker 3: Three months?
[36:02] Speaker 2: That's a long sermon, arguing persuasively about what the Kingdom
[36:08] Speaker 2: of God?
[36:08] Speaker 3: Notice what his emphasis is, Acts twenty twenty five.
[36:11] Speaker 2: Paul says, now I know that none of you, among
[36:14] Speaker 2: whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will never
[36:17] Speaker 2: see me again.
[36:17] Speaker 3: What did Paul preach? What was his theology? What was
[36:20] Speaker 3: his message?
[36:21] Speaker 2: It's Claire, we think Paul preach, you know, grace and
[36:26] Speaker 2: faith and all this stuff. No, most of those writings
[36:29] Speaker 2: are arguments, answering questions to religious people. Grace was not
[36:36] Speaker 2: Paul's message. It was his defense against those Jewish people
[36:40] Speaker 2: who wanted to replace grace with works. So don't get
[36:44] Speaker 2: your message or your gospel from Paul's letters. These are arguments,
[36:51] Speaker 2: These are defenses. He's dealing with people who have difficulty
[36:55] Speaker 2: accepting the kingdom work of the king. They don't wanna
[37:01] Speaker 2: leave these ceremonial laws and come into the fulfillment that
[37:05] Speaker 2: the th that Christ did. They wanna still help people
[37:08] Speaker 2: of babies of ceremonial laws.
[37:10] Speaker 3: Paul says, no, that work is done.
[37:12] Speaker 2: So most of Paul's writings is defending the Gospel, and
[37:15] Speaker 2: Paul actually said it many times. He said, I am
[37:17] Speaker 2: defending the defending. He said, pray for mess like and
[37:19] Speaker 2: defend it.
[37:24] Speaker 3: Paul preached the Kingdom.
[37:29] Speaker 2: Still not convinced, I get seen your face al right,
[37:30] Speaker 2: it read another one Aks twenty a three. For two
[37:33] Speaker 2: whole years Paul stayed there in his own reddit house
[37:37] Speaker 2: and welcome all who came to see him. Boldly and
[37:42] Speaker 2: without hindrance. He preach what the Kingdom of God watches now.
[37:46] Speaker 2: And then he taught about the Lord of this Christ,
[37:48] Speaker 2: him and Philip and all those guys. This the the
[37:50] Speaker 2: Kingdom message was first. Then they talked about Jesus. I
[37:58] Speaker 2: think this is very important. Once Paul said, I preached
[38:05] Speaker 2: Christ in them crucified.
[38:07] Speaker 3: He was talking to a religious.
[38:12] Speaker 2: Environment, to a specific group of people who wanted to
[38:18] Speaker 2: the word preach me to declare that people are saved
[38:21] Speaker 2: by works of the law. Paul says, no, I d
[38:25] Speaker 2: I'm not preaching that you're saved by law.
[38:28] Speaker 3: I preached what Christ did.
[38:30] Speaker 2: So we've taken that one verse and try to say
[38:32] Speaker 2: Paul preach Christ.
[38:35] Speaker 3: Paul preached.
[38:38] Speaker 2: He preached the kingdom. Then he explained about Jesus. Do
[38:45] Speaker 2: you know why, because the kingdom is a country.
[38:50] Speaker 3: How you with me? Look at Colossians did probably the
[38:54] Speaker 3: Kingdom of God was present. Let's read it Colossians one.
[38:56] Speaker 2: Twelve, giving thanks to the Father who has qualified judish
[39:00] Speaker 2: share in what the inheritance of the faith in the
[39:03] Speaker 2: Kingdom of light. For he has rescued us now from
[39:06] Speaker 2: the kingdom of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom
[39:09] Speaker 2: of his son, now home he loves, in whom we
[39:12] Speaker 2: have redemption now and forgiveness of sins. Now we are
[39:16] Speaker 2: in the Kingdom. Now it ain't coming, he said, we're
[39:18] Speaker 2: in it. You are under a different government. Now, you
[39:26] Speaker 2: are under different constitution. Now you expect to be living
[39:30] Speaker 2: under different moral standards and value systems. Now you don't
[39:34] Speaker 2: get holy when you get to heaven. We're in the
[39:42] Speaker 2: Kingdom Now, so as you go for lunch today, remember
[39:47] Speaker 2: you're eating in the kingdom. Hey yeah, look at the
[39:55] Speaker 2: Hebrews twelve, verse twenty eight. Therefore, since we are what receiving,
[40:02] Speaker 2: not going to receive, since we are receiving a kingdom
[40:05] Speaker 2: that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and so
[40:08] Speaker 2: worship God acceptably, with reverence and awe for our God
[40:12] Speaker 2: is a consuming five that means keep the laws of
[40:15] Speaker 2: the country when you get in.
[40:20] Speaker 3: Arrest.
[40:21] Speaker 2: My case, the theology of the Apostles is very clear
[40:25] Speaker 2: based on the record that we have. There are many
[40:29] Speaker 2: more statements made by Peter and others. Matter of fact,
[40:31] Speaker 2: here's what John preaching revelation. John's focus was this. He says,
[40:36] Speaker 2: the kingdoms, the kingdom of the world has become the
[40:42] Speaker 2: kingdom of our Lord and his Christ. He saw the
[40:45] Speaker 2: culmination as a kingdom issieur. This is about the Kingdom
[40:52] Speaker 2: of God taking over. His next statement says, and he
[40:56] Speaker 2: will reign forever and ever. This is about kingdom restoration.
[41:03] Speaker 2: It's not about you go into heaven and sitting by
[41:05] Speaker 2: the river of the Crystal Lake eating grapes for a
[41:08] Speaker 2: million years, singing to Jesus.
[41:10] Speaker 3: That's not what this is about.
[41:13] Speaker 2: It's not about you being in the choir and heaven singing.
[41:15] Speaker 2: God don't want knows further funny music up there. He
[41:17] Speaker 2: got angels to sing.
[41:18] Speaker 3: Man. He puts you here to rule and to lead.
[41:24] Speaker 3: You are a ruler, not a singer.
[41:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's about the culmination of the kingdom.
[41:36] Speaker 3: So let me just close with this.
[41:44] Speaker 2: Do you know why you preach the kingdom first and
[41:46] Speaker 2: then you talk about Jesus. Here's why, because the kingdom
[41:51] Speaker 2: is a country and you are trying to get people
[41:55] Speaker 2: to come to the country. Now, if you want me
[41:58] Speaker 2: to come to your country and move from my country,
[42:01] Speaker 2: uproot my entire life and come to your country, do
[42:05] Speaker 2: you tell me about your president. You don't describe your
[42:11] Speaker 2: president to encourage you to come to your country. I'm
[42:15] Speaker 2: not coming there for the president. That making sense. What
[42:20] Speaker 2: makes people want to leave Mexico and come to America
[42:23] Speaker 2: not the president. They don't care who the president is,
[42:25] Speaker 2: and the president changes every five, four or five years.
[42:27] Speaker 2: People don't leave countries because of the leader of the country.
[42:32] Speaker 2: They leave because of opportunities, privileges, benefits, higher lifestyle, better
[42:39] Speaker 2: style of living. You know, there's money, all this stuff
[42:41] Speaker 2: that's what they go for. When they arrive, then they
[42:46] Speaker 2: learn who the president is. If you study the words
[42:53] Speaker 2: of Jesus his message, do you.
[42:55] Speaker 3: Know how he preached.
[42:57] Speaker 2: He never preached himself, never preached himself to the matude,
[43:01] Speaker 2: never matter of fact.
[43:02] Speaker 3: Whenever he spoke about.
[43:03] Speaker 2: Himself, it was always in a private conversationist disciples. He
[43:08] Speaker 2: never preached the Calvary to the mantitude, never talked but
[43:11] Speaker 2: the death to the multitude, except once in the parable
[43:13] Speaker 2: when he says, you know, if you bury me, I'll
[43:16] Speaker 2: come back, and you know, see it, he's sent a parable.
[43:18] Speaker 2: But when he talks about being crucified, that was always private,
[43:22] Speaker 2: in a personal meeting with his students. Why because that
[43:25] Speaker 2: was not the message. I'm getting in trouble again. Calvary
[43:30] Speaker 2: was not the message. That's not the gospel. He never
[43:34] Speaker 2: preached his death to the multitudes.
[43:36] Speaker 3: Right, But what did he preach? Here's what he preached.
[43:41] Speaker 3: The Kingdom of God is like the Kingdom of God
[43:45] Speaker 3: is like. The Kingdom of God is what like?
[43:48] Speaker 2: In other words, our country is like this because jobs galore.
[43:53] Speaker 2: Our country is like this. You don't pay any taxes.
[43:57] Speaker 2: Our country is like this. There's a fair system where man,
[44:01] Speaker 2: if you ain't got no money, the government gives you money.
[44:03] Speaker 3: Now you tell me them kind of things. I want
[44:05] Speaker 3: to know where his country is.
[44:09] Speaker 2: In other words, you describe the advantages of being in
[44:13] Speaker 2: that country. Yes, that's the good news. The good news
[44:23] Speaker 2: is there's a place, there's another country. There's an alternative economy,
[44:31] Speaker 2: an alternative culture, an alternative lifestyle, an alternative mentality, an
[44:37] Speaker 2: alternative welfare system, an alternative healing health program.
[44:48] Speaker 3: What does good news? And that's what Nikki heard. I'm sorry, Nicodemus,
[44:54] Speaker 3: that's what he heard. He heard nicotives ginting Christ.
[44:57] Speaker 2: He didn't say I would like to join your relig
[45:01] Speaker 2: He was already in one.
[45:02] Speaker 3: He said, what must I do to enter the Kingdom
[45:04] Speaker 3: of Heaven?
[45:05] Speaker 2: I want to come to this country, he told Jesus,
[45:08] Speaker 2: and Christ answered him correctly.
[45:14] Speaker 3: There's another problem we have. Christ said, you're an old man.
[45:19] Speaker 3: He told you, an old.
[45:20] Speaker 2: Man, how can you ask me how to become a
[45:23] Speaker 2: citizen of a country.
[45:26] Speaker 3: You're supposed to know that you're an adult. And then
[45:31] Speaker 3: he gave him a reminder.
[45:32] Speaker 2: He says, you know how if I every other country
[45:35] Speaker 2: except you are born in the country naturally. Legally, you
[45:39] Speaker 2: cannot be a citizen. It was the answer of immigration.
[45:48] Speaker 3: Are you with me? If you ain't born a country,
[45:50] Speaker 3: you got to go through all kinds of changes.
[45:53] Speaker 2: But if you're born in a country, you are naturally
[45:54] Speaker 2: a citizen, he says. He says, in my country, we
[45:57] Speaker 2: made arrangements for you to be born again. Born again
[46:02] Speaker 2: is not the gospel. That's another problem. He didn't preach
[46:06] Speaker 2: born again. He only mentioned it once in the entire Bible.
[46:10] Speaker 3: Once.
[46:10] Speaker 2: He mentions it, cause that's not the message. That's the
[46:14] Speaker 2: immigration process. Mm, we preach born again, and he never
[46:24] Speaker 2: preached it once. He never preached it once. He mentions
[46:29] Speaker 2: at two am in the morning to an old man,
[46:31] Speaker 2: one person. We made it the gospel.
[46:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, So what did the apostles preach?
[46:46] Speaker 2: No question, they had an awareness that they were supposed
[46:51] Speaker 2: to preach. The arrival of the government of Heaven on earth.
[46:57] Speaker 2: The immigration office was open. You can become citizens now,
[47:02] Speaker 2: and all of the constitutional rights and privileges promised by
[47:06] Speaker 2: the king are available.
[47:08] Speaker 3: Now. That's what we're supposed to be preaching. And when
[47:16] Speaker 3: you come into the country, then we tell you about
[47:18] Speaker 3: the king.
[47:18] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, the King made it possible for you to
[47:22] Speaker 2: come m into this country.
[47:24] Speaker 3: He chose you, you didn't choose him. He yeah, he he.
[47:27] Speaker 2: He made the immigration papers all valid. He stumped it
[47:31] Speaker 2: with his blood. That's you know, appreciate him.
[47:34] Speaker 3: Let's worship him, cause it's thank him.
[47:35] Speaker 2: But the citizenship is available for you into a country,
[47:40] Speaker 2: not a religion.
[47:43] Speaker 3: And that's the issue of what you must teach. The apostles.
[47:51] Speaker 2: They they they were privileged to get it. He told
[47:55] Speaker 2: him that you are privileged to get it. He said
[47:56] Speaker 2: that you go and teach it now. Later on you're
[47:59] Speaker 2: gonna find in some scriptures where they start talking about,
[48:02] Speaker 2: you know, uh, the Kingdom is coming. They shifted a
[48:05] Speaker 2: little bit, and that's when we got lost, and so
[48:08] Speaker 2: people started kind of postponing.
[48:12] Speaker 3: Kingdom lifestyle.
[48:15] Speaker 2: And we ended up with this theology that that.
[48:20] Speaker 3: Says, uh, I'm climbing up.
[48:25] Speaker 2: The rough side of the mountain, this whole theology of
[48:30] Speaker 2: someday he'll take me.
[48:33] Speaker 3: Out of here, and I want up to pay no
[48:36] Speaker 3: more market.
[48:36] Speaker 2: You gotta pay markets right now, talking about you need
[48:39] Speaker 2: you need God.
[48:39] Speaker 3: To take care of business now. Now you sick, you
[48:44] Speaker 3: need healing now now?
[48:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, write this down whatever you postpone, you can
[48:53] Speaker 2: never whatever you postpone, you can never experience. Whatever you
[49:05] Speaker 2: postpone you can never appropriate.
[49:11] Speaker 3: So if you push it to the future, you would
[49:13] Speaker 3: never experience it. Now.
[49:18] Speaker 2: We need to take the Kingdom and bring it where
[49:20] Speaker 2: it is. It's here now, but it's also coming in
[49:24] Speaker 2: its consummation. Twenty nations in this room, which means we
[49:33] Speaker 2: got twenty people here from another country, But where are
[49:36] Speaker 2: they they here? Coming here doesn't change their citizenship, don't
[49:43] Speaker 2: you get it. They are still a season of the country,
[49:49] Speaker 2: so your location doesn't change your citizenship conditions. You are
[49:57] Speaker 2: in the world, but not from this place.
[50:00] Speaker 3: Love up the world.
[50:02] Speaker 2: You don't wait to go to heaven to experience Heaven's privileges.
[50:08] Speaker 3: You are a citizen now.
[50:11] Speaker 2: Exactly. All right, let's go for lunch like you so
[50:19] Speaker 2: much to be'd be.
