[0:25] are teachers building a Kingdom community. Thank you again for joining us. Now
[0:30] let's adjust our crowns, concepts and the characteristics of the Kingdom. With the
[0:47] concepts and the characteristics of the Kingdom. That's what we're going to talk about.
[0:54] Were going through a whole series of the Kingdom of God, which is
[0:56] the only subject that really we should be talking about in the church worldwide.
[1:07] Today we celebrate around the world with millions of believers the period of time that
[1:18] we remember the last week in the life of Jesus on earth. Today was
[1:25] the day that Jesus decided to go to Jerusalem to die. It was today,
[1:30] two thousand years ago, this very day right now. We know it's
[1:36] the exact date because it was the day, the first day the week that
[1:41] he set out to go toward Jerusalem. This was the day that he said,
[1:48] I set my face like flint toward Jerusalem. You know, flint is
[1:53] a very hard rock, you can't break it. In other words, he
[1:59] was fixed, I am going to die. So the statement meant that Jesus
[2:04] was saying, whatever happens, there's one thing I will do, and that
[2:08] is I'm going to die for them, and nothing's going to stop me.
[2:13] That decision was made on this day. This was the day then that he
[2:17] sent them to go and find him the donkey, so he could ride in
[2:24] on the donkey down the hill of the olive amount of olives, and up
[2:30] the kid Droun Valley, and up to the Temple mount and into the city
[2:35] gate and into the city of Jerusalem. It was this day, This is
[2:39] the day that they cut down branches, and they began to sing Hosannah,
[2:47] blessed he that comes in the name of the Lord, and they called him,
[2:53] he's the King. Here comes the King. Now. In Matthew twenty
[2:59] one we find in verse five it says the prophecy about this day, which
[3:13] comes from, of course, the book of the Old Testament. Zachariah chapter
[3:24] nine is where you find the history of this. You don't need to read
[3:27] that. But in Zachariah chapter nine, verse nine, you find these words
[3:31] prophesying about the coming Messiah. It says that he will come writing on a
[3:36] donkey. Say to the daughters of Zion, see you're king, everybody say,
[3:40] King comes to you, gentle, and writing on a donkey, on
[3:47] a colt, the fall of a donkey. End quote. Now that prophecy
[3:54] was written way back a few thousand years before Jesus came to earth, a
[4:00] couple of thousand years. This is amazing to me how details are kept by
[4:09] God. And Zachariah the prophet said that when the Messiah come, one of
[4:18] the signs would be that he would come riding into the city as a king,
[4:25] but on a donkey. And then Zachariah defines or describes the kind of
[4:30] donkey. He says he will come on a fowl or a colt, a
[4:39] young, unused donkey. But notice he says he'll be writing to who to
[4:46] you, and he's a king. Okay, I want you to write the
[4:49] word king down for a minute. The Bible is not a book a b
[5:00] about a democracy. The Bible is not a book about the republic. It
[5:09] is not a republic. The Bible is not about a parliamentary democracy. The
[5:15] Bible is not about a system of government as we know it. We live
[5:21] in the Western world in a form of government that is called a democratic form.
[5:30] Democracy, parliamentary democracy or republics are built on the philosophy of government where
[5:36] the people choose their leader. We vote for our king, for our leaders,
[5:43] so to speak, not king but leader. The Bible is not about
[5:46] that. The message of the Bible is not a democratic message. It's very
[5:53] important to remember this. Jesus is not called a president. A president and
[6:00] presides over a nation at the behest and the permission of the people. They
[6:10] vote for him. The prime minister is not what Jesus Christ is called.
[6:15] He's not a prime minister. Prime ministers are selected by a party who have
[6:21] been voted in by the people. So the power in a democracy resides in
[6:28] the people, whether it's a republic or a parliamentary democracy. In a we
[6:36] call it a commonwealth of nations, the power resides in the people. If
[6:42] you don't like who you get in power in the next election, you take
[6:46] him out. So the power is really in the hands of the people.
[6:48] The Bible is opposite to that. The Bible is not a democracy. It's
[6:56] not a republic. And I keep repeating this, but I want you to
[6:59] get it because you see, we have been brought up, cultured in conditioned
[7:03] to think in terms of a democracy and a republic. We think that way.
[7:13] So when you read the Bible, you must understand that the Bible is
[7:16] not talking about a governing power on a structure that resembles what you know.
[7:26] This is why in our last week session where you are what we talked about
[7:30] last week, I talked about the fact that God waitedn't tell the Roman Empire
[7:36] was in power. Remember that before he sent Jesus. Why Remember why?
[7:45] Because he needed a model. Right, So Christ didn't come to Earth until
[7:48] God had a model in place that could define the message of his kingdom.
[7:57] The Roman Empire was the perfect model. First because it was structured on dominion.
[8:07] The Romans dominated the entire world at that time, the known world of
[8:13] civilization. They dominated the world. Secondly, they dominated the world, but
[8:18] they kept the citizens that they took over in the land. Thirdly, there
[8:26] was only one ruler in the Roman Empire, only one, and he was
[8:31] not voted in. He was an emperor. An emperor is one who has
[8:41] an empire. Fourthly, the emperor had a title, very important title.
[8:54] His title was Caesar. Caesar is another word for lord. Everybody say lord.
[9:05] Now, Caesar was the only one with the title. There were no
[9:11] other Caesars, and that word means lord. In other words, the Roman
[9:16] Empire only had one lord. Everybody say lord again, Say it again.
[9:20] The word lord, Write it down. It means owner, owner, proprietor.
[9:28] So the word lord is referring to the person who owns the property.
[9:35] When you rent from somebody, as I always say, you have to call
[9:39] them the land. What say the land? What see their lords in the
[9:43] Bahamas, all over the Bahamas. Some of you are lords. If you
[9:46] own a property and you'll lease it to someone else, you are a lord.
[9:52] Lord simply means owner. When you read the Bible, he will find
[10:00] the word lord written all through the Bible. Sometimes it's a capital L,
[10:05] sometimes it's a small L. The small L is referring to those who own
[10:11] property, but the big L is referring to the one who owns those who
[10:18] owns the property. So whenever the word lord is used for God, it
[10:26] is always the capital L. Why he is the owner of the whole earth
[10:33] and everything in it. The Bible, the earth is who the lords and
[10:37] the fullness as in the earth belongs to who the earth is, Who the
[10:41] the earth is, who the lords take the word or put the meaning in
[10:46] the earth is the owners. There it goes a different picture. Altogether belongs
[10:52] to the owner, and all the fullness or that which fills it is also
[10:58] the owners. It's gonna make sense in a minute now. Caesar calls himself
[11:05] lord lord. What his lord means owner. So the Roman Empire was built
[11:13] on the philosophy that everything is owned by Caesar. God says, send Jesus
[11:22] now, because the message he's gonna preach is the exact message they're living.
[11:33] He's coming to establish an empire, a kingdom, and he will be the
[11:41] lord of all. See, you can't have many lords, oh dear.
[11:52] But small L should be translated caretaker, write the down. Small L means
[12:03] yeah, you own it. Let me. Let me give you an example
[12:07] in the Bahamas, right in the Bahamas, and also in America, I
[12:11] guess in Canada too and other places. But in the Bahamas, when you
[12:13] buy a piece of property, guess what they give you the con conveyance papers,
[12:18] don't they And you own the property. You see your name on it,
[12:22] they stamp it. You own the property. But yet the government tells
[12:26] you you don't own this property. How do you know they charge you for
[12:33] the rest of your life for something you own. I got a problem with
[12:39] that. Keep the TV on. You'll work all your life to pay for
[12:46] this piece of property. Pay for this house. You worked hard, and
[12:50] then they they let you rent what you own mm and they call it real
[12:58] estate tax. Okay, that's not a bad modal, mixed man, the
[13:03] model. What they're saying is you own it, but you don't own it.
[13:18] We are giving you permission to own it, and the permission you gotta
[13:24] pay for for the rest of your life. M you are a care taker.
[13:33] Now. Isn't it amazing that those who keep the property the best pay
[13:39] the most. Interesting? This is important. What happens if you don't pay
[13:54] your property tax? I want you to think about this. You own this
[13:58] property, You own this property, you pay for it. But what happens
[14:03] if you refuse to pay your property jack? What happens? Come on,
[14:07] lawyer, talk to me. Huh they what cant hear you? They?
[14:15] They will repossess This is crazy what you own. What they're saying is you
[14:26] never own this and it was unfair. Hey, I know, Okay,
[14:37] Why is this important to learn because it's the way kingdoms think. The earth
[14:43] is always the lord's So anybody who claim to own anything in it or any
[14:50] part of it, they don't own it. They are care takers. H
[15:05] Let me tell you how happy I am about that. I found out that
[15:07] a king owns everything in a kingdom. In a kingdom, the king personally
[15:20] owns the whole kingdom. Write this down. The king owns the kingdom.
[15:28] That's the different concept. You've got to learn that concept. So in a
[15:33] kingdom, a king will allot property to people. How many of you remember
[15:41] in the Bahamas there was such a term as it still is, actually a
[15:46] term called crown land. Now. Why they call it crown land because that's
[15:52] the land that is owned by Queen Elizabeth in the Bahamas. Because kings own
[16:03] their territory, they could give it to who they want. That's why they're
[16:11] parts of the Bahamas named after people, whole islands, whole sections named after
[16:18] people. The Collins family. Those things were given out by the King of
[16:26] England. So you could have this island, you could have that part of
[16:30] it, you could have that half. I mean, they just the king
[16:33] just cuts it up gives it away. This is so good because in a
[16:36] kingdom, the king can move his property around to who soever he wills,
[16:49] and guess what, you never own it. So Jesus is a king riding
[17:03] in a don key, not a president. The president of the United States
[17:08] does not own America. He's not a prime minister. Our prime minister does
[17:14] not own the Bahamas. Sometimes there's thing they do but they don't. But
[17:23] a king is a different story. My wife and I went to a kingdom
[17:33] a couple of years ago. We went to a kingdom called Swaziland. It's
[17:37] one of the last places in the world where there is a actual king that
[17:41] rules the country. It's a monarchy. Hallelujah. That whole country belongs to
[17:49] him. It's amazing. The man got how many wives, baby, how
[17:53] many wives? Eight? Huh, he's on the tenth one. My god.
[18:03] Now I'm not talking about one at a time, you know, see,
[18:06] you all understand I talking about ten all at once. And the thing
[18:11] it is now my wife, you know, be a guest of the king
[18:14] and he is the power of the country. And of course you know when
[18:17] we arrive there, they had a whole parade for us, and it was
[18:22] amazing. And we were the guests of the king. And when we arrived
[18:26] to the place where they were, how did everyone gather to meet us?
[18:30] And all the leaders and all the chiefs. And then my wife had to
[18:33] be separated from me cause she had to go sit with the wives. And
[18:38] I look at the king. Make sure you don't fool just saying I'm eleven,
[18:45] brother, you will hear of a man who killed the king? You
[18:55] know what I mean? I say, hey, And she had their sit
[18:59] with all this, these queens. I guess they're all queens. I don't
[19:02] know. He had I counted eight eight. Tell me why a king derabade
[19:11] wives? He owns the subjects? They said. I When that king wants
[19:18] a wife, if he's sitting down, he go to a meeting, he's
[19:22] you know, and he sees a woman that he wants, he just tells
[19:26] the parents, deliver her. And this is real, deliver your daughter at
[19:32] nine o'clock in the morning. Prepare her for the court to betrayed. I
[19:34] wanted to be my wife. Why the concept is he owns the people?
[19:42] Now? You know, what are you getting it? Jesus is a king.
[19:48] He can walk into a place and see you to Jesus now and he
[19:52] see you in sin, under the garbage heap of all kinds of muck,
[19:59] and he he decides you and my wife it can get it. After we're
[20:11] gone, you'll understand it. I said exactly what he did to some of
[20:14] you. If people know your past, and yet he walked into your life
[20:21] and he's king. See ye, he is what lord? He says,
[20:25] I don't care what she being drinking, what he being sniffing. He is
[20:29] mine. It's key. The king can do that. Now. The king
[20:45] comes in because he owns his kingdom. He's lord. Now, I wanna
[20:55] say a couple of things she if before we wrap this up with I want
[20:56] you to remember this. When a king has children, those children are called
[21:06] what prince and princesses. Now, in every kingdom you got one king,
[21:15] you cann of two kings. And I'm talking about the kingdom of the model
[21:22] of the world. Now, then all the people in the kingdom are called
[21:25] what sub That means below jets. Are you a jet? You got rejects?
[21:36] In every kingdom in the world, you've got sub jacks. You are
[21:41] below jacks. What a horrible turn, But every kingdom has it. But
[21:52] the Kingdom of God is a problem because it's the complete In the Kingdom of
[22:02] God, the people that are in the Kingdom of God are not sub jacks.
[22:11] They are all kings. Problem here, so when Jesus was talking about
[22:23] Allelujah, it's so sweet, when Jesus were talking about authority in the kingdom,
[22:30] leadership in the kingdom, he had a problem explaining it. He said,
[22:34] Look, he says, now, you see, you disciples got the
[22:37] wrong training. You believe that in the kingdom, he who is greatest is
[22:51] the one who suppresses everybody else. You think that in this in the kingdom,
[23:03] in order to be big, you gotta make everybody else small. You
[23:11] believe that to be somebody, you gotta make sure everybody else are Nobody's what
[23:18] an attitude, he says. He said, now, h that's the way
[23:22] it's done, and we can do this in a couple of weeks coming.
[23:26] That's the way it's done, he says. In the world, in the
[23:29] pagan world, they want lauded over their subjects. Hmm. Statement, it
[23:41] shall not be so amound you complete rebuke to live in this kingdom, he
[23:52] says, change your philosophy of leadership, authority. You are not great because
[23:59] everyone else this is small, because in this kingdom, ain't no small,
[24:14] he said, in this kingdom, the great person is the one who serves
[24:21] everybody else. There's gonna be a good series. You can understand this later.
[24:30] Their gift. I was teaching a seminar this week in a corporate company
[24:45] and I asked the question, and then on Friday night I mentioned it again
[24:52] during our session. What do you think of when you hear the word Michael
[24:56] Jordan? What do you think about basketball? You don't think about people?
[25:03] What do you think about what he does? Is he a leader? Yes,
[25:07] everybody wants him to be on their advertisement. He's a powerful leader.
[25:12] His name brings in millions. He has influenced all over the world. I
[25:18] mean, Michael is an awesome leader, but a man I call his name.
[25:22] You don't think about people because leadership has nothing to do with people.
[25:32] Michael Jackson, what do you think about You don't think about people, but
[25:37] yet he influences millions. He is now called ready for this, the king
[25:45] of pop He ain't got no subjects, but he's called what king. He
[25:56] don't dominate people, he dominates a domain. That is his gift. I'll
[26:10] give you one more, Mother, Theresa, What do you think about what
[26:15] do you think about charity? What do you think about poor? Yes?
[26:19] Isn't that amazing? This woman is a world leader. She stood before the
[26:23] United Nations and addressed them. She was sought over the world by kings and
[26:30] queens who wanted to talk to her. Governments wanted her advice. She was
[26:33] four feet high and never change her clothes, same dress all the time.
[26:40] But she wow the world. Why it wasn't people? We remember? It's
[26:45] a gift because your leadership is not in ruling people, he says, in
[26:57] this kingdom, the greatest among you is the one who found his gift and
[27:04] serves it to everybody else. Yeah, keen Dom, I'm gonna ask a
[27:22] question. I don't want an answer now. I want an answer from you,
[27:30] and I promise I'm gonna ask you at this time. I want an
[27:33] answer from you in fifteen years. Okay, I'm gonna ask you a question
[27:41] now. I'm gonna I want an answer in fifteen years. Here's a question.
[27:45] What will I think about when we call your name in fifteen years.
[28:08] I'm gonna ask for an answer because right now we probably think about nothing.
[28:21] Are you known? For anything. Yet, is there something that you are
[28:29] so good at, that you dominate so well that it's synonymous with your name?
[28:48] Or maybe your name is Jack? Yahya, why you're laughing? Who's
[29:19] Jack? Oh? Oh, you know Jack. I'm waiting to see if
[29:26] you know Jack? Who's Jack? What did jack? Last name? All
[29:30] dreads? He masters what you gotta master something. There's a trophy in my
[29:47] office. It's about three feet high. I wan to speak out in California
[29:52] conference. Are there at the Shrine auditorium ready to have all the Academy awards?
[29:56] And I was a speaker that night, and the people in his place
[30:00] and they presented me with a trophy. The trophy reads missed the purpose.
[30:11] Interesting. About eight years ago, maybe before longer than maybe ten years ago,
[30:26] I was chatting with Pastor Richard, and I think he might have forgotten
[30:27] this conversation. I hope not. I said, you know what to do?
[30:34] Say tell you what to do. Want to be successful in life,
[30:37] Find an area that you're good at and work it. I mean, just
[30:45] read all the books on it, you know, go to every seminar on
[30:48] it. If it's your passion, your love, just go for it.
[30:52] Don't be known for too many things, being the king of something. Elvis
[31:08] Presley, Okay, what do you remember? Rock Road? He's a king
[31:18] of what? Rock Road? Arena Franklin, she's a queen. Where did
[31:25] you ever got these names from? Ain't no queens in America. She's a
[31:30] queen of soul. I noticed all the names are different. She's sold.
[31:37] Elvis is rock and roll, Michael Jackson is pump Jordan is basketball, Tiger
[31:45] is see what is yours? What are you serving the world? Christ says
[31:55] the greatest among you will become the one who's serving the best. Do you
[32:07] know why most Behament restaurants don't make it? They sell everything. I'm giving
[32:16] you a good advice. Now, I ain't paying you off for this.
[32:20] You all ain't paying me for this? See this free stop selling everything.
[32:27] Kentucky Fried Chicken, no knowing for what chicken mine? They may true one
[32:30] let boy get it, but that ain't best things chicken? What are you
[32:34] known for? A mind? Something? That is you enough to secret sector
[32:47] chapers? They're changing their position. Don't let just keep changing? Stop stuff.
[32:53] It's good to be good at something because you become sought after. Good
[33:01] mechanic lines. We don't need a guy who could fix everything. You know,
[33:08] when I want my car fix, I don't take it to a plumber.
[33:13] I don't want no pipes in my car. I need somebody who good
[33:15] at that one thing this cause, are you with me? They are what
[33:21] the authority in the area. I'm not talking to anybody here this morning.
[33:24] Why am I stuck on this? I got all kinds of things to talk
[33:27] about. But you see, somebody here must be trying to be every day
[33:31] and God are saying, hey, settle down on one thing and get good
[33:36] at it. Man, find your gift and serve the thing to the world,
[33:39] and you become what great Muhammad Ali he ain't claimed to be no mayor.
[33:52] He got more influence than the mayor. If my Jammad Ali walks into
[34:00] a town, the people don't go to see the mayor, don't have a
[34:07] meeting while he there. Why because he has shoppened his skill in his area
[34:15] so well. He saved you to the whole world. I mean he went
[34:19] to the thriller Manila and served the world some gloves stop the world for two
[34:24] hours. What can you do to stop the world. There's something in you
[34:34] and that's your leadership. I mean you give you one last name. Tell
[34:37] you what you think about Jesus. Huh. One word savior, salvation.
[34:44] Why that's the word. That's what it means. God named him what he
[34:49] was. His name shall be called. Yes, sure, the word means
[34:57] what shavior. For he we shall save the people from their sins. He
[35:02] named him what he was. If you want to get saved, you go
[35:14] to Christ. He'll dominate your sins and turn them into a miracle. Amen,
[35:20] he save you. Now. The king came writing synonymous bit a dominion.
[35:35] Our kingdom is a problem because our kingdom doesn't have any subjects. So
[35:44] Jesus said, to explain my kingdom to you all. There needs to be
[35:49] a paradigm shift. Watch this. All the citizens in the kingdom sons of
[36:00] the king. Problem. That means every citizen is a prince or princess.
[36:15] So what do you do now? Well, what is a prince or a
[36:17] princess? Right down definition, A prince or a princess is a king in
[36:24] waiting. They are kings and they are queens, but they are in waiting.
[36:32] A prince is a king. So why is he called the prince?
[36:42] A princess is a queen? Why she called a queen. Thanks a simple
[36:46] because you cannot be a king or a queen if you are a prince and
[36:54] a princess until two things happen, one the king dies or two you are
[37:05] removed out of the territory. Two kings cannot rule the same territory. Yeah,
[37:19] yeah, Prince Charles of England, you're not the guy. Prince Charles's
[37:25] problem is his mother wouldn't die or respect Please your majesty, Prince Charles is
[37:35] an old man. Now, God bless you, sir, jolly well the
[37:38] chat come now, it's the truth. You know, he's an old man,
[37:44] he's as much he's older than most of us, but he's still a
[37:47] prince. As old as he is, he's still a prince. And the
[37:52] possibility still is there that he might die a prince. Why because the Queen
[38:01] is still alive. And as long as she is in England, and she's
[38:07] still alive, he is forever stuck with being prince. That means he will
[38:10] never rule dominate England. Are you listening to me? Listen carefully talking about
[38:20] you. I was saying something that sounded very comical this morning, but it
[38:27] was to make a point, and that is Prince Charles has a problem.
[38:30] You see, he ain't sure how to pray. He know he is already
[38:43] prayed for his mother to stay alive. That's one prayer, give a long
[38:47] life. Oh lord. Now you know. One of the famous statements in
[38:53] the Bible and also in Great Britain's monarchy is this state, long live the
[39:01] king. Not the reason why they say you must say that all the time
[39:06] because you don't want them to die. But I'm not sure everybody praying that
[39:10] with you? What do you think? I mean after a while, you
[39:17] know, you prince, and you sixty years old, us prince, you
[39:21] still walking around the prince? I mean you ain't you mean you see the
[39:23] throne every day, just walking around prince all leg every day all your life.
[39:30] They call you Prince Charles, Prince prince. I mean you get tired
[39:32] of prince. But this woman wouldn't die, so Prince Charles, listen to
[39:49] me. Never had a kingdom? All ain't thank you? She got it.
[39:57] Prince Charles, even though he's an old man so far, he never
[40:00] ruled, never had a king. What a sad thing. All his life
[40:07] he is known as the sidekick. Some of you laugh at Prince y'all.
[40:14] His life is not easy. All your life, even in the shadow.
[40:22] All your life you carry out diplomatic errands. You never speak as the authority.
[40:34] All your life. Everybody questions you when you speak. I said,
[40:45] that's tough man. Sometime you wonder why people have difficulties living. You don't
[40:52] live in their shoe. All his life, never had a kingdom, never
[40:59] ruled, and yet he has royal blood. Now watch what the monarchy is
[41:06] doing. Heybody say kingdom. Everybody say king right away? King down again?
[41:10] Put next to it. Monarchy. The Bible is about a monarchy.
[41:16] Kingdoms are about monarchies. What's a monarchy? A monarchy is a family that
[41:23] owns and rules the whole territory. The family owns the place. My god,
[41:32] that's why the land in the Mohammas is called crown land. Why the
[41:37] king the queen actually owns land land. She never saw anybody following this.
[41:50] I watched this. A monarchy is a family. This is good news for

[1:23:58] This is crazy what you own. What they're saying is you never own this.

[1:24:16] important to learn? Because it's the way kingdoms think. The earth is always
[1:24:21] the lord's. So anybody who claim to own anything in it or any part
[1:24:30] of it, they don't own it. That's great. They are care takers.
[1:24:43] Let me tell you how happy I am about that. I found out
[1:24:45] that a king owns everything in a kingdom. In a kingdom, the king
[1:24:59] personally owns owns the whole kingdom. Write this down. The king owns the
[1:25:04] kingdom. That's the different concept. You've got to learn that concept. So
[1:25:13] in a kingdom, a king will allot property to people. How many of
[1:25:19] you remember in the Bahamas there was such a term, as it still is,
[1:25:25] actually a term called crown land. Now. Why they call it crown
[1:25:30] land because that's the land that is owned by Queen Elizabeth in the Bahamas.
[1:25:40] Because kings own their territory, they can give it to who they want.
