[0:09] Speaker 1: You're listening to Crowning Ignorant Kings, a podcast for citizens
[0:14] Speaker 1: with like minds who love God, follow Christ, and have
[0:17] Speaker 1: a desire to be an ambassador for the Kingdom of
[0:21] Speaker 1: Heaven on earth. We are John and Charlene Donaldson with
[0:25] Speaker 1: teachers building a Kingdom community. Thank you again for joining us.
[0:30] Speaker 1: Now let's sudjust our crowns.
[0:37] Speaker 2: Our vision in this ministry is to transform follow us
[0:42] Speaker 2: into lead us.
[0:43] Speaker 3: That's a tough job because a person who has.
[0:47] Speaker 2: Been conditioned to follow, trained to be a follower, culturally
[0:56] Speaker 2: formed to think. It is easier to relocate a person
[1:07] Speaker 2: than to change their mind. It is easier to cast
[1:13] Speaker 2: a demon out of a person than to change their thinking.
[1:21] Speaker 2: Sometimes I wish I could pray for you to have a.
[1:24] Speaker 3: New mind, but it doesn't work that way. So to
[1:31] Speaker 3: transform a person.
[1:34] Speaker 2: From thinking like a follower and acting like a follower,
[1:38] Speaker 2: and responding to life like a follower into a leader
[1:43] Speaker 2: is a massive assignment. And I assure you that I
[1:49] Speaker 2: didn't accept this assignment with the idea that this is
[1:53] Speaker 2: gonna happen in two years or ten years. I knew
[1:57] Speaker 2: it was going to take a lifetime to work on
[1:59] Speaker 2: some of y'all, because I myself, I'm.
[2:03] Speaker 3: Still going through the transformation in my mind. But the
[2:08] Speaker 3: good news is.
[2:10] Speaker 2: It is possible to turn a shepherd boy into a king.
[2:17] Speaker 2: It is possible to transform a murderer into a lawgiver.
[2:24] Speaker 2: It is possible to take a prostitute and turn her
[2:28] Speaker 2: into the lineage of Jesus Christ. It's possible to make
[2:33] Speaker 2: a fisherman the most powerful pastor the earth has ever seen.
[2:40] Speaker 3: So the I it is possible.
[2:43] Speaker 2: It's just that you gotta have a lot of patience
[2:47] Speaker 2: cause you're working with history. You're battling with mental damage.
[2:52] Speaker 2: You are dealing with historical subconscious diabolical conditioning by people
[3:04] Speaker 2: who told you you cannot lead, and they told you
[3:09] Speaker 2: so often you believe them now. And even when they
[3:14] Speaker 2: let you go, you still think like they taught you
[3:17] Speaker 2: to think.
[3:18] Speaker 3: So that's a tough job.
[3:20] Speaker 2: So that's what our first assignment is in this ministry,
[3:23] Speaker 2: is to transform followers who think like followers into leaders
[3:27] Speaker 2: who think like leaders. But there's the second half of
[3:30] Speaker 2: that assignment we were given, and it is and then
[3:33] Speaker 2: to transform those leaders into change agents. Now that's even
[3:40] Speaker 2: a tougher job. Okay, you discover who you are, and
[3:44] Speaker 2: you know who you are what you can do?
[3:46] Speaker 3: Now?
[3:46] Speaker 2: Can I get you to get busy to believe that
[3:49] Speaker 2: you can actually change the world.
[3:54] Speaker 3: Ah.
[3:56] Speaker 2: I speak as one who cancels your excuses. Maybe that's
[4:03] Speaker 2: why God always uses.
[4:05] Speaker 3: One from among you so that you have no excuse.
[4:11] Speaker 3: Maybe that's why He.
[4:12] Speaker 4: Always chooses the least from the most deplorable places, just
[4:19] Speaker 4: in case you decide that that person must be unique
[4:24] Speaker 4: or special or gifted.
[4:28] Speaker 3: Beyond you, or maybe.
[4:29] Speaker 2: They had advantage or they were born in an advantage environment.
[4:35] Speaker 2: So God always will take someone from among you, from
[4:39] Speaker 2: your own environment and deliver them right before your eyes,
[4:46] Speaker 2: so that you cannot.
[4:48] Speaker 5: Have an excuse for not transforming your life.
[5:00] Speaker 3: My vision of this church.
[5:04] Speaker 2: Has always been to have three thousand leaders in the church.
[5:07] Speaker 2: I don't want members. That's a hard vision. A church
[5:16] Speaker 2: of leaders. Everyone a leader.
[5:19] Speaker 3: That's my vision, that's my dream, That's what Jesus streamt of.
[5:25] Speaker 2: And there's reason why I believe that, because that's God's
[5:29] Speaker 2: original plan.
[5:31] Speaker 3: God never created a follower.
[5:37] Speaker 2: So that's our mission, our vision, our passion. Why do
[5:45] Speaker 2: I believe this is possible. Let's top with the nature
[5:47] Speaker 2: of leadership. Write this down This is very important to
[5:50] Speaker 2: write down leadership. The very nature of leadership. The very
[5:54] Speaker 2: word lead is not a noun. The word lead everybody
[6:01] Speaker 2: say lead, say it loud.
[6:04] Speaker 3: Lead. The very word lead is a verb.
[6:10] Speaker 2: If I say lead me, I am actually telling you
[6:14] Speaker 2: to act. You cannot lead and be still. You cannot
[6:24] Speaker 2: lead and stay in one spot. So leadership, first of all,
[6:29] Speaker 2: is about movement. You lead people from somewhere. That leads
[6:39] Speaker 2: to point number two. Leadership is about change. You cannot
[6:45] Speaker 2: be a leader and not change things. Whether it's location,
[6:52] Speaker 2: whether it's situation, whether it is circumstances, whether it is environment,
[6:58] Speaker 2: whether it is.
[7:00] Speaker 3: A sense of meaning for someone. You have to change something.
[7:05] Speaker 2: If I say let me lead you outside, what does
[7:07] Speaker 2: that mean we change in location. If I I'm going
[7:14] Speaker 2: to lead this organization, it means that I don't like
[7:17] Speaker 2: where it is now. I'm leading it to another phase,
[7:22] Speaker 2: or to another level, or to another standard.
[7:25] Speaker 3: You cannot lead and not change.
[7:30] Speaker 2: This is why there is a difference between a leader.
[7:36] Speaker 3: And a manager.
[7:39] Speaker 2: Now, all leaders should be managers, but not all managers
[7:44] Speaker 2: are leaders. Management is about maintenance. That's what I call it.
[7:51] Speaker 3: Manage Management is about following the rules.
[7:58] Speaker 2: It's about protecting policy. It's about keeping things in order.
[8:05] Speaker 2: Leaders don't do that. They disturb order. They break policies,
[8:12] Speaker 2: they violate rules, they break out the boundaries, they step
[8:16] Speaker 2: beyond the wall. So leadership is about one change. This
[8:26] Speaker 2: is why leaders will always have resistance.
[8:31] Speaker 3: Write that down. You cannot be a leader and not
[8:34] Speaker 3: have opposition. It's impossible because you are actually breaking out
[8:39] Speaker 3: of something and people don't want you to break up
[8:45] Speaker 3: at least the point. Number three, Leadership is about transportation
[8:50] Speaker 3: or transporting. Now think about it.
[8:53] Speaker 2: Leadership is about if I say follow me, I am
[8:57] Speaker 2: transporting you from.
[8:58] Speaker 3: One dimension to another dimension.
[9:03] Speaker 2: So if you are a leader of a country, or
[9:04] Speaker 2: the leader of a bank, or the leader of a home,
[9:08] Speaker 2: or the leader of a department, you are actually a
[9:11] Speaker 2: leader because when I come back next month, the department
[9:15] Speaker 2: shouldn't be the same department. The bank shouldn't be the
[9:19] Speaker 2: same bank. There should be a different report every year.
[9:27] Speaker 2: We call it progress. Leadership is about transporting. Number four.
[9:35] Speaker 2: Leadership is about moving people from the known to the unknown.
[9:42] Speaker 3: It's the tough part of leadership.
[9:43] Speaker 2: The nature of leadership is to move people or to
[9:49] Speaker 2: move organizations from the known to the unknown.
[9:56] Speaker 3: So when someone appoints you.
[9:58] Speaker 2: As a leader of an area, what they're telling you is,
[10:01] Speaker 2: I don't want this area to remain the same.
[10:06] Speaker 3: I want you to move it to a place it
[10:08] Speaker 3: ain't never been.
[10:13] Speaker 2: This statement tells you why a leader has to have
[10:19] Speaker 2: a vision. The vision is what we called the unknown.
[10:25] Speaker 2: The leader has a picture, a photograph of the unknown.
[10:31] Speaker 2: His job is to convince the followers that what he sees.
[10:39] Speaker 3: Is a better proposition than where they are.
[10:45] Speaker 2: And if you cannot convince the people about the vision,
[10:50] Speaker 2: they will never want to leave.
[10:52] Speaker 3: Where they are.
[10:53] Speaker 2: And even if you convince some of them, there will
[10:56] Speaker 2: be some who have fallen in love with where they
[10:59] Speaker 2: are so much that they will become your resistance. So
[11:05] Speaker 2: leadership is about what moving people. That leads me to
[11:10] Speaker 2: number five. Leadership is about discomfort.
[11:18] Speaker 3: What I'm teaching you.
[11:19] Speaker 2: Is what they pay me to teach people, because it's
[11:22] Speaker 2: so important to learn it.
[11:26] Speaker 3: You know, every time a government wants to build new roads,
[11:29] Speaker 3: for example, everybody gets upset. If government has to tear
[11:38] Speaker 3: down some buildings to build new houses. There's a whole
[11:41] Speaker 3: lot of ruckers.
[11:42] Speaker 2: First, and then after the thing is finished, everybody cruising.
[11:48] Speaker 3: I'm talking about how beautiful it is.
[11:51] Speaker 2: Leadership have to accept the discomfort, and so does the followers.
[12:01] Speaker 2: You cannot be following a true leader and be comfortable
[12:08] Speaker 2: because you don't know what they're gonna announce next. They
[12:13] Speaker 2: always come up with something that.
[12:15] Speaker 3: Is different why they're moving. When you stop moving, you
[12:22] Speaker 3: are a manager. Write that down.
[12:25] Speaker 2: Whenever you stop moving, If you stuck, you become a manager.
[12:29] Speaker 3: A leader is constantly leading. She is moving, he is moving.
[12:35] Speaker 3: And that's why people don't.
[12:37] Speaker 2: Like true leadership, because the human spirit loves familiar territory.
[12:46] Speaker 3: They love to know where everything is.
[12:50] Speaker 2: A leader keeps disorienting you. You remember on the mountain
[12:59] Speaker 2: when Jesus took three of his leadership students to see
[13:03] Speaker 2: something they never saw before. He manifested himself in his
[13:10] Speaker 2: true self, and he'd be shining.
[13:13] Speaker 3: He was shining brighter than the sun, the Bible says.
[13:15] Speaker 3: And with him were sitting to the of the great
[13:18] Speaker 3: prophets of all.
[13:18] Speaker 2: It was Moses and Elijah, and they saw this thing
[13:23] Speaker 2: they never saw before.
[13:26] Speaker 3: They were so overwhelmed.
[13:28] Speaker 2: They said, let us build three houses right here, let
[13:34] Speaker 2: us stay right here. We like this, And before they
[13:40] Speaker 2: could finish the request, a voice interrupted them and said
[13:45] Speaker 2: shut up. And hear him, and then he spoke. He said,
[13:52] Speaker 2: let's go down. I mean, wait a minute, we like
[13:55] Speaker 2: it up here. He says, let's go down. Why because
[13:59] Speaker 2: down in the village were problems to solve. Leadership is
[14:08] Speaker 2: about solving problems. It's not about enjoying accolades. Accept their
[14:22] Speaker 2: applause for two minutes, and then leave the stage and
[14:26] Speaker 2: go back to work.
[14:28] Speaker 3: That's leadership.
[14:29] Speaker 2: Leadership never allow people to give such adulation that they
[14:35] Speaker 2: begin to believe it. They are too busy to receive
[14:40] Speaker 2: your commendation. I'm talking about true leaders. That's why a
[14:44] Speaker 2: true leader is never full of pride. They're too busy
[14:47] Speaker 2: to have pride. Too busy. It's about discomfort. And number six,
[14:57] Speaker 2: Leadership is about transformation. You cannot be a leader in
[15:02] Speaker 2: an environment and don't transform the environment. If the environment
[15:08] Speaker 2: remain the way you meant it, you were not a leader.
[15:14] Speaker 2: You were a follower or a manager. Managers don't rock
[15:18] Speaker 2: the boat. Managers don't upset the status quo. Managers say
[15:25] Speaker 2: things like this is the way I meant it, this
[15:28] Speaker 2: is the way I'm gonna leave it.
[15:30] Speaker 3: These are managers.
[15:34] Speaker 2: A leader transforms, they transform systems. They transform policies, They
[15:42] Speaker 2: transform people, They transform projects, they transform products, they transform
[15:48] Speaker 2: quality of service, They transform even the physical environment. They
[15:53] Speaker 2: may even decide to transform the whole building and build
[15:55] Speaker 2: a new one.
[15:55] Speaker 3: They are always transforming. Leaders walk into a place and
[16:04] Speaker 3: change something that is working. They are transformers.
[16:13] Speaker 2: So if I appoint you as a leader in this church,
[16:15] Speaker 2: I expect whatever area I.
[16:17] Speaker 3: Put you into to not be maintained.
[16:27] Speaker 2: New ideas, new operational processes, inventions, disturbing things that are working.
[16:40] Speaker 3: This is leadership. Leaders always acts.
[16:46] Speaker 2: Why we're doing it this way, This is the.
[16:52] Speaker 3: Nature of leadership.
[16:54] Speaker 2: So I like this picture. Everybody said, leadship is about moved.
[17:01] Speaker 2: Leaders never allow you to stay at one place. It's
[17:03] Speaker 2: about action. It's about activity, it's about moving, It's about progress.
[17:14] Speaker 2: Some of you wonder why I change the theme every
[17:17] Speaker 2: year because I don't like the old one.
[17:21] Speaker 3: God is never where he used to be.
[17:26] Speaker 2: By the time you figure God out, he gone to
[17:28] Speaker 2: another level. That's why you gotta keep moving with the
[17:31] Speaker 2: spirit of God.
[17:32] Speaker 3: God gets bored very quickly.
[17:36] Speaker 2: Matter of fact, the first name that he introduced himself
[17:39] Speaker 2: is the first name is an important name. In the beginning.
[17:43] Speaker 2: God what created God. Don't wait for things to happen.
[17:47] Speaker 3: He's create things.
[17:50] Speaker 2: And if you have the same spirit of your heavenly Father,
[17:52] Speaker 2: you're supposed to just get bored and say, let's do
[17:55] Speaker 2: something else. Create leadership. Do you know what keeps people
[18:01] Speaker 2: young when they are creative? You know, it makes them senile.
[18:07] Speaker 3: And always grouchy when they are stuck in what they've
[18:11] Speaker 3: been doing for the last ten years.
[18:13] Speaker 2: They are grouchy at everybody, including the roach calling across
[18:16] Speaker 2: the floor. These people are difficult to live with it
[18:20] Speaker 2: because they are not leaders.
[18:27] Speaker 3: Our theme this year requires this series. That's why I'm
[18:32] Speaker 3: teaching it. We're gonna pour our lives into you. This
[18:38] Speaker 3: place must be full next week because if we don't
[18:43] Speaker 3: understand that, you cannot transform a place unless you are
[18:50] Speaker 3: the influence. It won't work.
[18:53] Speaker 2: You have to be in leadership to change things. And
[18:58] Speaker 2: I got to define what I mean by that.
[18:59] Speaker 3: Little later, but you have to be the influence everybody's influence.
[19:03] Speaker 3: You have to be the influence to bring change. I
[19:07] Speaker 3: didn't say you have to be in a position. The
[19:17] Speaker 3: person with.
[19:18] Speaker 2: The influence is the leader, not the person with the title. Yeah,
[19:26] Speaker 2: some of you married men know what I'm talking about. See,
[19:35] Speaker 2: we think that leadership has to do with power and
[19:39] Speaker 2: position and title. No, Joseph was never pharaoh, but he
[19:48] Speaker 2: ran Egypt. Why he didn't have the position, but he
[19:55] Speaker 2: had the influence.
[19:59] Speaker 3: I'm gonna give you a hint. Now, I'm jumping three
[20:02] Speaker 3: months ahead here. What made Joseph influential? A skill, a gift?
[20:11] Speaker 3: I'm giving you a hint.
[20:12] Speaker 2: See, when you have something that the people need, you
[20:15] Speaker 2: become the influence. Pharaoh needed someone to interpret the dream,
[20:21] Speaker 2: and nobody on the staff can do it except a
[20:24] Speaker 2: guy in prison. My question is what do you have
[20:30] Speaker 2: that make us look for you? Have you found this
[20:35] Speaker 2: thing that makes you irresistible? Leadership is tied to that.
[20:44] Speaker 2: We're gonna talk about that little later. But leadership is
[20:48] Speaker 2: about influence, and you cannot bring kingdom influence.
[20:53] Speaker 3: In your society unless you are a leader. That's why
[20:58] Speaker 3: we gotta teach leadership. Is it clear? Do you see
[21:03] Speaker 3: why must come here?
[21:04] Speaker 2: If we don't lead, we're gonna be conformed to them.
[21:12] Speaker 2: But if you are the leader, you create the conformaty criteria.
[21:17] Speaker 2: Therefore you become the transformer. Leaders change the environment. The
[21:22] Speaker 2: environment doesn't change the leader. I just give you something important.
[21:30] Speaker 2: I'll say it again. Leaders are not changed by the environment.
[21:35] Speaker 2: They change the environment. They're the ones who instigate the transformation.
[21:40] Speaker 2: And that's why leaders are not afraid to be attacked, opposed, criticized,
[21:47] Speaker 2: or misunderstood, because they already saw the future and the
[21:51] Speaker 2: future is far better and they're on their way to it.
[21:56] Speaker 3: So leaders are those who transform.
[22:00] Speaker 2: Now, with that in mind, I want to make a
[22:02] Speaker 2: statement very clear.
[22:03] Speaker 3: Here, look at this picture. Please you notice what do
[22:07] Speaker 3: you notice with this picture? What do you see? Say loud?
[22:12] Speaker 2: A woman leading the man. This is important because I
[22:15] Speaker 2: want to make it clear.
[22:18] Speaker 3: That God's leadership program makes the male and female equally
[22:26] Speaker 3: responsible leaders.
[22:33] Speaker 2: God never created the man to rule the woman, and
[22:38] Speaker 2: God never created mankind to rule mankind. God created both leaders,
[22:53] Speaker 2: and he gave them leadership not.
[22:55] Speaker 3: Over people, but over fish and birds and cattle and trees.
[23:08] Speaker 2: So leadership is equally distributed to both male and female.
[23:13] Speaker 2: And I want to make it clear. So we're going
[23:14] Speaker 2: to train and teach everybody here to become the leader
[23:19] Speaker 2: they were born to be. It doesn't matter what gender
[23:21] Speaker 2: you are, only two of them.
[23:22] Speaker 3: I know you are a leader.
[23:30] Speaker 2: And your culture doesn't agree with you, and the females
[23:35] Speaker 2: have been so oppressed in almost every country have gone
[23:40] Speaker 2: into I have seen the devastation of male dominated societies that.
[23:49] Speaker 3: Have robbed this beautiful creature of her powerful strength.
[23:57] Speaker 2: And you know who loses when you do that, the male.
[24:05] Speaker 2: So we are going to teach, as we have all
[24:08] Speaker 2: during this ministry, that men and women are equal.
[24:13] Speaker 3: They are equal. God made them equal, but they are different.
[24:24] Speaker 3: I always talk about this statement.
[24:30] Speaker 2: That an army of sheep led by a lion will
[24:34] Speaker 2: always defeat an army of lions.
[24:40] Speaker 3: If they are led by a sheep.
[24:47] Speaker 2: I repeat, an army of lions led by a sheep
[24:55] Speaker 2: will all be defeated by an army of sheep if
[24:59] Speaker 2: they are l by a lion. In other words, the
[25:05] Speaker 2: leader determines the quality of the followers. An effective leader
[25:13] Speaker 2: can transform sheep to think like lions.
[25:22] Speaker 3: A good leader who knows leadership can transform cowards into warriors.
[25:29] Speaker 2: It has happened all through history. An effective leader can
[25:33] Speaker 2: transform frightened.
[25:35] Speaker 3: People into bold people. You think of Martin Luther King Jr.
[25:42] Speaker 2: In America in the nineteen sixties, when there was de
[25:46] Speaker 2: segregation and racial divides and oppression, and people couldn't vote,
[25:53] Speaker 2: people couldn't sleep and sit and go to certain restaurants.
[25:55] Speaker 3: I mean.
[25:56] Speaker 2: And they were under that for years. But a leader emerged,
[26:07] Speaker 2: and he happened to be a simple preacher, but he
[26:11] Speaker 2: had an introduction to himself somewhere he discovered something about himself.
[26:19] Speaker 3: And the rest is history.
[26:20] Speaker 2: He turned people who were timid and afraid into bold
[26:26] Speaker 2: people that walked into water hoses, they ran into the
[26:30] Speaker 2: teeth of dogs. They bowed their backs to be beaten
[26:35] Speaker 2: with billies of policemen and.
[26:37] Speaker 3: Be ripped with ropes.
[26:39] Speaker 2: They allowed themselves to be tied to cars and dragged
[26:42] Speaker 2: through the asphalt streets, and their skin ripped of their backs.
[26:46] Speaker 2: And they didn't wilfully Why because a leader transformed them.
[26:55] Speaker 2: Maybe that's why in our countries we are so bad,
[27:02] Speaker 2: because we haven't seen leaders yet emerging in our countries.
[27:08] Speaker 3: We bow to anything, we bowed any deal.
[27:13] Speaker 2: We don't stand up for what might be best for us,
[27:17] Speaker 2: because we haven't found the kind of leader that can
[27:20] Speaker 2: transform sheep.
[27:23] Speaker 3: Into bowl lions.
[27:27] Speaker 2: A lady you know where Rosa parks For that day
[27:30] Speaker 2: she decided I sitting right here. I paid the same
[27:33] Speaker 2: price as everybody else to come on the bus.
[27:35] Speaker 3: So she said. Now, now she was not sitting there
[27:39] Speaker 3: on AMAS. You know, something happened to her that night.
[27:42] Speaker 3: Something happened to her.
[27:43] Speaker 2: Maybe in the morning she connected with something and said
[27:47] Speaker 2: to herself, wait a minute, say you ain't gonna be leading.
[27:50] Speaker 2: Tell you say wait a minute, you better wait a minute.
[27:56] Speaker 2: I tell your leadership can be taught. It has said,
[27:59] Speaker 2: be covered. And she decided, I am sitting here and
[28:06] Speaker 2: the system says the culture said.
[28:09] Speaker 3: You cannot do that.
[28:11] Speaker 2: I told you the cultures would contaminate your thinking, and
[28:17] Speaker 2: that one act of self discovery turned thousands of sheep.
[28:24] Speaker 3: Into lions.
[28:30] Speaker 2: I wonder who's waiting on you to make them believe
[28:36] Speaker 2: that they could do anything. This is the challenge. I
[28:47] Speaker 2: want to again show you why we must learn to
[28:50] Speaker 2: become leaders.
[28:53] Speaker 3: And I want you to write these statements down. Number one,
[28:57] Speaker 3: Man's purpose for creation was leadership. Say that with me.
[29:02] Speaker 2: Man's purpose for creation was leadership. This is very serious statement.
[29:08] Speaker 3: I didn't say man becomes a leader.
[29:11] Speaker 2: The very purpose why God created you was because he
[29:16] Speaker 2: desired a leader to lead a project called Earth.
[29:24] Speaker 3: So the motivation for creation was leadership. That leads the point.
[29:30] Speaker 2: Number two, the original assignment God has for mankind was rulership,
[29:37] Speaker 2: and it with rulership over earth.
[29:40] Speaker 3: This is clan scripture.
[29:42] Speaker 2: There's no argument about this in scripture. We all must
[29:45] Speaker 2: read it and accept it. This was God's motivation. So
[29:48] Speaker 2: his motivation produced the creation, and his motivation was based
[29:54] Speaker 2: on an assignment to have someone that he can trust
[29:58] Speaker 2: with rulership. If you want to know what changed Miles Monroe,
[30:03] Speaker 2: it would be this simple discovery.
[30:07] Speaker 3: This is one of those defining discoveries.
[30:10] Speaker 2: That changed my life, and that is I discovered that
[30:15] Speaker 2: my leadership had nothing.
[30:17] Speaker 3: To do with your opinion of me.
[30:21] Speaker 2: That was a big discovery because I was born, you know,
[30:24] Speaker 2: under an environment where there was oppression. I was born
[30:27] Speaker 2: under certain types of conditions where I was taught by.
[30:31] Speaker 3: Oppressive masters who I was. And then I discovered, wait
[30:37] Speaker 3: a minute, I am not who they say I was.
[30:43] Speaker 2: That discovery took place with no teacher, because the teachers
[30:49] Speaker 2: were teaching me that I was not. I had to
[30:54] Speaker 2: find it from someone outside my teachers. It happened to
[30:58] Speaker 2: be the Holy and as a teenager, I was introduced
[31:03] Speaker 2: to myself and this was the statement.
[31:08] Speaker 3: That really defines what happened to me.
[31:11] Speaker 2: I discovered that my original assignment was rulership.
[31:17] Speaker 3: That means that.
[31:18] Speaker 2: Point number three is a byproduct.
[31:22] Speaker 3: Write it down.
[31:23] Speaker 2: Leadership is the capacity to influence the conditions and the
[31:30] Speaker 2: environment that determines the destiny of that life. Leadership is
[31:39] Speaker 2: the capacity to influence the conditions.
[31:47] Speaker 3: And every word is carefully chosen here and to influence
[31:52] Speaker 3: the environment.
[31:55] Speaker 2: That determines the destiny of that life.
[32:01] Speaker 3: God gave.
[32:04] Speaker 2: The Adamic race a planet. He created some conditions. He
[32:13] Speaker 2: called it Aiden. We call it Eden, the garden. The
[32:22] Speaker 2: word garden doesn't mean you know, like what you know
[32:27] Speaker 2: about gardens.
[32:28] Speaker 3: The word garden in Hebrew means order. Write it down. Order.
[32:34] Speaker 3: God took the man and put him in the garden
[32:38] Speaker 3: of Eden. That is found in Genesis chapter two, verse eight.
[32:42] Speaker 2: Specifically, the Lord took the man and says, and put
[32:46] Speaker 2: him in the garden of Eden. The word in the
[32:49] Speaker 2: Hebrew that garden means order.
[32:54] Speaker 3: That makes sense.
[32:56] Speaker 2: The difference between bush and a garden is what order
[33:00] Speaker 2: that they both got bush in them.
[33:04] Speaker 3: It's just that one is orderly. In other words, God
[33:08] Speaker 3: gave Adam order, and then he told Adam fill the
[33:12] Speaker 3: earth with the same order, go and organize, put order
[33:18] Speaker 3: to the whole planet. I want you to do what
[33:20] Speaker 3: I do. I ordered the universe, you ordered the planet.
[33:23] Speaker 3: You're my kids. I want you to learn what leadership is.
[33:25] Speaker 2: Leadership is putting things in their rightful place so they function.
[33:33] Speaker 3: Order.
[33:38] Speaker 2: God says, take the conditions and the environment and influence it.
[33:51] Speaker 2: I got a phone call from someone today who said,
[33:54] Speaker 2: we want you to say someone the radio. I said, no,
[33:56] Speaker 2: I don't prefer to talk on the radio right now.
[34:00] Speaker 2: He said, well, we have a question to ask you
[34:02] Speaker 2: for the news. I said, no, I don't want to
[34:04] Speaker 2: call anything for the news right now. He said, anyhow, okay,
[34:09] Speaker 2: off the record. What's your opinion? I said, are you
[34:13] Speaker 2: sure it's off the record. They said yes. I said,
[34:18] Speaker 2: are you promising me this? I will not see this
[34:19] Speaker 2: in print? They said, I promise. I said, okay, what's
[34:24] Speaker 2: the question? They said, what do you think about drilling
[34:27] Speaker 2: for oil in the Bahamas?
[34:31] Speaker 3: And I said, that's easy to answer.
[34:34] Speaker 2: I have no objection to it. They said, how come
[34:38] Speaker 2: you answer so quickly? I said, because I know the Bible.
[34:44] Speaker 2: They said, the Bible system with oil. I said, let
[34:46] Speaker 2: me quote a verse for you, Chalaces, Chapter two, and
[34:50] Speaker 2: God said, under Adam, the water in the garden is good,
[34:56] Speaker 2: and the fruit of the garden is good.
[35:01] Speaker 3: And the resin of the garden is good. And the
[35:09] Speaker 3: gold of the garden is good. And the on it,
[35:17] Speaker 3: that's the precious stone in the earth, it's good. He
[35:21] Speaker 3: was telling Adam, all of this is under your management.
[35:25] Speaker 3: Whoever manages it profits.
[35:37] Speaker 2: If you dig for gold, you gotta displace earth. If
[35:41] Speaker 2: you dig for coal, you gotta displace earth. If you
[35:44] Speaker 2: dig for diamonds, you gotta displace earth. If you dig
[35:47] Speaker 2: for oil, you gotta displace earth. If you dig for
[35:50] Speaker 2: water or well, you gotta take it on the ground.
[35:53] Speaker 2: Whatever you do, you gotta manage.
[36:01] Speaker 3: The person says you, sure, I can't write this.
[36:05] Speaker 2: This is the best answer I ever heard. I said,
[36:08] Speaker 2: when I'm ready, I'll talk. My point is this, God
[36:14] Speaker 2: gave us leadership over the conditions and the environment. Amen,
[36:22] Speaker 2: it's how you manage it. Take a deep breath. Some
[36:31] Speaker 2: of you'll need a deep breath right now, so you
[36:33] Speaker 2: gotta be careful. God don't miss nothing. He got it
[36:38] Speaker 2: all covered. The problem is most people don't want to
[36:41] Speaker 2: go to the Bible, including those who think they're smart.
[36:49] Speaker 2: Leadership is your responsibility. You were put here to lead.
[36:56] Speaker 2: I want you to focus on this way before we
[36:58] Speaker 2: close this session. The word capacity, everybody. Capacity.
[37:01] Speaker 3: That's an important word right the way. Capacity.
[37:04] Speaker 2: Now, leadership is what the capacity to influence. It doesn't
[37:08] Speaker 2: mean that you will, but the capacity to become a
[37:13] Speaker 2: leader exists.
[37:15] Speaker 3: Very important. I like this picture. That's me. I look
[37:25] Speaker 3: like a lamb, but don't let that fool you. I
[37:30] Speaker 3: am a lion. When the lamb thinks like a lion,
[37:38] Speaker 3: a leader is born. Jesus said, I send you like
[37:43] Speaker 3: sheep among wolves. Let me tell you something about wolves.
[37:50] Speaker 2: Wolves are eaten by lions. So what he's telling you
[37:57] Speaker 2: is let them think that you are.
[38:03] Speaker 3: Until they really meet you.
[38:08] Speaker 2: You're a liar, you're a leader. Write this down, please?
[38:14] Speaker 2: Why should you become a leader? This is an important question.
[38:19] Speaker 2: Why are we going through this series? Why, doctor Monroe
[38:22] Speaker 2: do we need to learn this? Why doctor Pender do
[38:24] Speaker 2: we need to learn this? What's this all about? We
[38:26] Speaker 2: just want to go to heaven. If you don't lead,
[38:35] Speaker 2: somebody will lead you. It is that simple. So why
[38:43] Speaker 2: should we become leaders? Number one answer? First of all,
[38:48] Speaker 2: it is the calling of every human being. That's why
[38:52] Speaker 2: you should become it. If you don't become a leader,
[38:55] Speaker 2: you have failed God. If you don't become a leader,
[39:00] Speaker 2: you did not fulfill God's will. Becoming a leader is
[39:06] Speaker 2: every human's calling. Number two, You should become a leader
[39:10] Speaker 2: because you were created to be a leader. If you
[39:14] Speaker 2: don't become a leader, then you forfeited your very purpose
[39:18] Speaker 2: for creation. Number three, Why should you become a leader?
[39:23] Speaker 2: Because leadership is our human nature.
[39:29] Speaker 3: I like the word nature. You know why. It is
[39:33] Speaker 3: the root word for natural. You pronowns it natural. I
[39:38] Speaker 3: pronongs it natural. Just to get my point that which
[39:43] Speaker 3: is nature is natural. Natural means something has it built
[39:50] Speaker 3: in You are naturally created to be a leader.
[39:58] Speaker 2: Most of us know that, but we don't claim that.
[40:03] Speaker 2: Matter of fact, all of us acted and still don't
[40:06] Speaker 2: accept it. Give an example, when someone tells you shut up,
[40:12] Speaker 2: how do you feel? How do you feel when someone
[40:15] Speaker 2: tell that before you get mard a, something rises up
[40:19] Speaker 2: on the inside, something somehow has this natural inclination to
[40:25] Speaker 2: resist them and maybe give them just a little peace
[40:30] Speaker 2: of what your mind. I wonder where that comes from.
[40:33] Speaker 2: How come you get this? Why don't you just say okay,
[40:35] Speaker 2: thank you.
[40:36] Speaker 3: Very much, I'm sorry? How come there's something.
[40:39] Speaker 2: Because there is a natural, inherent DNA coding for you
[40:48] Speaker 2: to not be controlled.
[40:50] Speaker 3: By anyone that is a leadership nature.
[40:57] Speaker 2: This is why oppression can never succeed, because the human
[41:03] Speaker 2: spirit can never be oppressed permanently.
[41:08] Speaker 3: It's impossible because you are designed, created by nature to
[41:17] Speaker 3: be a leader.
[41:19] Speaker 2: So when you become a leader, read my lips, you
[41:22] Speaker 2: become yourself. When you become a leader, you are natural.
[41:30] Speaker 2: And this is why you defy going to a job
[41:38] Speaker 2: and people control your future. You go there because you
[41:42] Speaker 2: have to, not because you want to.
[41:45] Speaker 3: Don't tell me that. You catch that bus every morning
[41:50] Speaker 3: with anger in your spirit. You walk in that job
[41:54] Speaker 3: with demonic attitudes.
[41:56] Speaker 2: You feel something on the inside saying I wish I
[41:59] Speaker 2: could just go play golf and.
[42:00] Speaker 3: I want to someone talk to me. I just feel
[42:04] Speaker 3: like you're on fishing today.
[42:05] Speaker 2: You know, there's this thing that says, how come I
[42:07] Speaker 2: have to do this?
[42:09] Speaker 3: That's that nature? M Now you feel it too, h
[42:17] Speaker 3: Every human, every human on earth, in every culture has
[42:23] Speaker 3: this natural spirit.
[42:26] Speaker 2: But that spirit has been so oppressed that you are
[42:30] Speaker 2: afraid to tell the truth to your culture. Why should
[42:37] Speaker 2: you become a leader, Because leadership is a divine imperative.
[42:42] Speaker 2: It's a divine imperative. God says, look have dominion. That's
[42:48] Speaker 2: an order, that is not a suggestion. If you don't
[42:54] Speaker 2: dominate your environment, God says, you are a failure.
[43:00] Speaker 3: It's a divine imperative to be a leader.
[43:06] Speaker 2: Why should you become a leader, because leadership was the
[43:10] Speaker 2: motivation for your creation. When you don't become a leader,
[43:15] Speaker 2: the one who has the influence in the environment, you
[43:18] Speaker 2: disappoint the creator.
[43:20] Speaker 3: The manufacturer is.
[43:25] Speaker 2: Displeased when you don't take control over an environment.
[43:32] Speaker 3: That's why you must learn leadership. That's why you must
[43:36] Speaker 3: discover it is his will. If I was the devil
[43:44] Speaker 3: and I'm not, I would focus on making you a
[43:48] Speaker 3: follower all my life.
[43:51] Speaker 2: I would train you to disbelieve yourself. I would condition
[43:57] Speaker 2: you to doubt who you are every day. I would
[44:01] Speaker 2: convince you that you were born to be a slave. Somehow,
[44:06] Speaker 2: I would inculcat in you the culture that you shouldn't
[44:10] Speaker 2: even try to achieve greatness, just pay bills and die.
[44:14] Speaker 2: If I was the devil, he's done a good job.
[44:22] Speaker 2: Look at you, Look at what you've accepted, and we
[44:29] Speaker 2: call it normal life. Son, you can't die the way
[44:35] Speaker 2: your daddy died. Your daddy didn't know this session, he
[44:40] Speaker 2: didn't hear this. My father didn't teach me this. And
[44:49] Speaker 2: that's why I gotta teach it to you, cause cause
[44:51] Speaker 2: you you don't have to go through the the wrong
[44:54] Speaker 2: path to try to find life.
[44:59] Speaker 3: Jesus never says that any human can set you free.
[45:02] Speaker 2: He never said that no human can set you free.
[45:10] Speaker 2: Freedom comes from a discovery of information. You shall know
[45:16] Speaker 2: the truth, he says, and the truth that you know,
[45:22] Speaker 2: only the truth that you know now, not all the truth,
[45:24] Speaker 2: just the.
[45:25] Speaker 3: One you know.
[45:26] Speaker 2: But such your free which means that your freedom comes
[45:28] Speaker 2: in measures of knowledge.
[45:35] Speaker 3: If you know nothing, then you are in chains, and.
[45:42] Speaker 2: You can wear a necktie and high heeled shoes and
[45:45] Speaker 2: you are still a well dressed lost follower.
[45:53] Speaker 3: Why should you become a leader?
[45:55] Speaker 2: Number six? Because leadership is our past. You know, the
[46:01] Speaker 2: Bible refers to us as lost sheep. Not the Bible
[46:07] Speaker 2: refers to us as those who.
[46:09] Speaker 3: Forsook the way.
[46:12] Speaker 2: The Bible calls us those who fell. In other words,
[46:18] Speaker 2: we we fell from somewhere, so which means that our
[46:23] Speaker 2: past is somewhere back there, and we lost it.
[46:29] Speaker 3: The question is, what did you fall.
[46:31] Speaker 2: From because whatever you fell from is what you're trying
[46:37] Speaker 2: to find.
[46:41] Speaker 3: That means your future is not in front of you.
[46:50] Speaker 3: What you're looking for is not up ahead, it's behind you.
[46:57] Speaker 3: You left it all they do. Yeah, so you go
[47:11] Speaker 3: to college and they make you read books.
[47:16] Speaker 2: And they never tell you where you came from.
[47:20] Speaker 3: They never tell you where you fell from. So you
[47:25] Speaker 3: are smart, intelligent, but lost.
[47:31] Speaker 2: Degrees without destiny, educated, without knowledge of self. Leadership is
[47:44] Speaker 2: our past. We fell from it. You cannot lose what
[47:51] Speaker 2: you never had. Write that down, please, So when you
[47:56] Speaker 2: tell me I lost something, I have the first then
[48:00] Speaker 2: identify what I had, because finding something different is still
[48:07] Speaker 2: not discovering what I lost.
[48:12] Speaker 3: What did God give me?
[48:15] Speaker 2: The only thing God gave me as mankind is dominion
[48:21] Speaker 2: over the environment and conditions. So when I fell, I
[48:26] Speaker 2: fell from that. I fell from leadership over something. So
[48:31] Speaker 2: leadership is my past. That's why I'm a follower. I
[48:35] Speaker 2: lost leadership.
[48:39] Speaker 3: I wish I had time to really teach you something. Man.
[48:43] Speaker 2: When I discovered this thing, I said this, No wonder
[48:47] Speaker 2: why people oppress us so easily. You are supposed to
[48:56] Speaker 2: be a leader, but you felt that. Then concludes that
[49:03] Speaker 2: leadership is our destiny. That's why we should become a leader.
[49:10] Speaker 2: When you become the leader you were born to be,
[49:13] Speaker 2: you've discovered your destiny. Your destination is the position you
[49:19] Speaker 2: fell from. The Bible uses certain words to describe the
[49:25] Speaker 2: programs of God. All the words the Bible use start
[49:29] Speaker 2: with the same prefix re re means.
[49:33] Speaker 3: To go backward. So when the Bible says repent, redeem, restore, revive, recover, renew, reconcile,
[49:46] Speaker 3: it has to do with going back to what you lost.
[49:52] Speaker 3: That's why it's called redemntion. To deem means to own something.
[49:58] Speaker 3: To redem he means to own it again. So first
[50:08] Speaker 3: we got discovered with it. I own.
[50:10] Speaker 2: I owned dominion over fish, the sea, birds of the air,
[50:16] Speaker 2: cattle of the field, over all the earth. And I
[50:19] Speaker 2: lost that. And we are so frustrated. We are trying
[50:26] Speaker 2: to rule other people. We are dangerous creatures, we are brutal,
[50:34] Speaker 2: We are so mad at the world.
[50:36] Speaker 3: We want to control people.
[50:39] Speaker 2: We are so angry at not knowing who we are
[50:43] Speaker 2: that we try to use other people to define ourselves,
[50:47] Speaker 2: and so we make ourselves.
[50:48] Speaker 3: Superior, so we can feel superior by making other people inferior.
[50:53] Speaker 3: Because we are sick, we have lost who we are.
[51:01] Speaker 3: A true leader doesn't seek followers. They don't need.
[51:07] Speaker 2: Them to feel like a leader.
[51:16] Speaker 3: Leadership is not about convincing people to follow you. Leadership
[51:22] Speaker 3: is about attracting people to discover themselves. They see in.
[51:29] Speaker 2: You what they've been looking for, a person who knows
[51:34] Speaker 2: who they are.
[51:36] Speaker 3: That's what this attracts them to you. They see that.
[51:39] Speaker 3: They call it admiring, but what they really mean is
[51:42] Speaker 3: I like what I see in you, and so they come.
[51:52] Speaker 3: That's why they follow Jesus. His favorite words were write
[51:57] Speaker 3: him down. I am.
[52:01] Speaker 2: Those two words are the words of a leader. Our
[52:06] Speaker 2: words are you make me? His words were I am.
[52:13] Speaker 2: You don't make me nothing, and that was attractive. I
[52:18] Speaker 2: am the Way. I am the bread of life. I
[52:23] Speaker 2: am the door, I am the water of life. I
[52:26] Speaker 2: am the resurrection, I am the sheep pen gate, I
[52:31] Speaker 2: am the Way, I am the truth.
[52:34] Speaker 3: I am the life. He didn't allow anyone to define him.
[52:44] Speaker 2: I must be honest with you. I'm there. You can't
[52:48] Speaker 2: define me no more. Leave me, follow me, go away,
[52:52] Speaker 2: Come doesn't matter. Myles love myles boy, thank.
[52:57] Speaker 3: You very much. I love me. I discovered me and
[53:01] Speaker 3: me I found is a good me. Me and I
[53:04] Speaker 3: be good friends. You got to get there. You have
[53:10] Speaker 3: to get there.
[53:11] Speaker 2: You have to discover the you that is so powerful
[53:15] Speaker 2: that the devil is afraid of you. No one knows
[53:21] Speaker 2: a product like the manufacturer. I feel his presence here
[53:25] Speaker 2: right now.
[53:26] Speaker 3: Do you feel him. He's talking to you.
[53:28] Speaker 2: He's telling you that this is for you, that what
[53:31] Speaker 2: you're hearing is real, because you know when you hear truth,
[53:35] Speaker 2: even though you can't explain how you feel, you know
[53:37] Speaker 2: that this is connecting.
[53:38] Speaker 3: Why Because it is the truth about you.
[53:44] Speaker 2: Life told you a lie. That's why you can't live it.
[53:50] Speaker 2: But the truth comes to set you free. Can I
[53:53] Speaker 2: hear an amen? So this is why you have to
[54:00] Speaker 2: become a leader. Look at that list. That's a tough list.
[54:04] Speaker 2: This is why the cub has to become a liar.
[54:11] Speaker 2: This is why you can't die like a sheep.
[54:16] Speaker 3: Let's pray Father for us.
[54:22] Speaker 2: It's not too late. There's still hope for us. We
[54:28] Speaker 2: can still make it before we die. We can still manifest.
[54:32] Speaker 2: And I pray I petition you in the name of
[54:36] Speaker 2: your son Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father, that you will reveal
[54:39] Speaker 2: yourself to everyone in this auditorium. Reveal yourself to everyone
[54:44] Speaker 2: watching this television program. Reveal yourself, oh Lord, to everyone
[54:49] Speaker 2: who is listening to your voice.
[54:53] Speaker 3: Don't just reveal yourself to them.
[54:56] Speaker 2: But I ask you for a bigger miracle. Reveal them
[55:01] Speaker 2: to themselves. Let there be divine introductions. So Lord, in
[55:07] Speaker 2: the name of Jesus, we thank you.
[55:11] Speaker 3: Lord.
[55:13] Speaker 2: Lift your hands and just open up your spirit right now,
[55:17] Speaker 2: and ask the Holy Spirit to.
[55:19] Speaker 3: Do for you what he did for me years ago.
[55:23] Speaker 2: Ask him to introduce you to you. Ask him for
[55:28] Speaker 2: a glimpse of what he sees. Ask him for the
[55:34] Speaker 2: motivation that was in him that caused your conception. Ask
[55:41] Speaker 2: him what he saw when he allowed your parents.
[55:46] Speaker 3: To conceive you. Ask him for a vision of who
[55:49] Speaker 3: you really are. Ask him for a glimpse.
[55:53] Speaker 2: Of the you, the unnamed you, the one that they
[55:56] Speaker 2: don't know. Ask him for a revelation of yourself.
[56:01] Speaker 3: This has to be a miracle.
