[0:10] Speaker 1: You're listening to Crowning Ignorant Kings, a podcast for citizens
[0:14] Speaker 1: with like minds who love God, follow Christ, and have
[0:18] Speaker 1: a desire to be an ambassador for the Kingdom of
[0:22] Speaker 1: Heaven on earth. We are John and Charlene Donaldson, who
[0:26] Speaker 1: are teachers building a Kingdom community. Thank you again for
[0:30] Speaker 1: joining us. Now let's sudjust our crowns.
[0:39] Speaker 2: Your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth
[0:46] Speaker 2: as it is in Heaven. And I want to submit
[0:51] Speaker 2: to you today that this seminar is exactly a part
[0:56] Speaker 2: of that coming to pass. Not do his will if
[1:01] Speaker 2: you do not know his will. Hello, there's what I
[1:06] Speaker 2: call a law of life. You cannot do what you
[1:10] Speaker 2: do not know. And so in order for His kingdom
[1:15] Speaker 2: to come and his will to be done, we've got
[1:18] Speaker 2: to understand what he wants to happen. We've got to
[1:23] Speaker 2: understand his kingdom. And that's exactly what we're doing over
[1:28] Speaker 2: these next couple of days. Keys for building a Kingdom community.
[1:34] Speaker 2: I'm going to try to give you some key principles.
[1:42] Speaker 2: This is only a snapshot of all of the hours
[1:47] Speaker 2: and hours of teaching that we've done on Kingdom community,
[1:53] Speaker 2: but I'm going to try to give you a snapshot
[1:57] Speaker 2: of some of the key principles so that you will
[2:00] Speaker 2: begin to go back and study more as you prepare
[2:04] Speaker 2: to teach.
[2:06] Speaker 3: On these principles in your folder.
[2:13] Speaker 2: Are these course objectives already, so we don't need to
[2:16] Speaker 2: worry about writing them down. I just want to review
[2:18] Speaker 2: them very quickly. We want to define some key terminologies.
[2:24] Speaker 2: We want to explain key concepts related to building a
[2:27] Speaker 2: Kingdom community. Thirdly, we want to apply community building codes,
[2:32] Speaker 2: that is, standards to everyday situations, because that's what Jesus did.
[2:38] Speaker 2: And of course we know that Jesus was the teacher
[2:40] Speaker 2: of teachers, but he taught in a very interesting way.
[2:44] Speaker 2: He used everyday situations that people could relate to, and
[2:52] Speaker 2: that I think is what made him so effective. People
[2:55] Speaker 2: walked away understanding exactly what he meant when he finished teaching. Fortly,
[3:03] Speaker 2: we want to analyze the impact of community action utilizing
[3:07] Speaker 2: biblical case histories. Fifth we want to evaluate the corperate
[3:13] Speaker 2: effects of community actions within the current social contexts. The
[3:20] Speaker 2: terminologies and definitions this is also in your folder, but
[3:24] Speaker 2: I just want to review them. The first one we
[3:27] Speaker 2: will talk about in a few minutes a little more
[3:29] Speaker 2: in depth.
[3:31] Speaker 3: Than is here.
[3:33] Speaker 2: But I want to begin with this definition from mister Webster.
[3:37] Speaker 2: Community a unified body of individuals people with common interests
[3:45] Speaker 2: living in a particular area, a group linked by a
[3:51] Speaker 2: common policy.
[3:54] Speaker 3: Very interesting definition.
[3:57] Speaker 2: We're going to expand on that in a few moments.
[4:00] Speaker 2: Culture the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of
[4:06] Speaker 2: a racial, religious, or social group. The set of shared attitudes, values, goals,
[4:16] Speaker 2: and practices that characterizes a company or corporation. Once more
[4:23] Speaker 2: from mister Webster, or this is in your folder already.
[4:28] Speaker 2: Community culture the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits
[4:34] Speaker 2: of a racial, religious, or social group which are unique
[4:40] Speaker 2: to a specific community. And when we talk about image
[4:46] Speaker 2: and likeness, we're talking about a reproduction or imitation of
[4:51] Speaker 2: the form of a person or thing, a person strikingly
[4:58] Speaker 2: like another person. You've heard the term a split image.
[5:03] Speaker 2: All right, We're going to talk about that in a
[5:04] Speaker 2: few minutes. And then relationship the state of being related
[5:11] Speaker 2: or interrelated, the relation connecting or binding participants in a relationship. Now,
[5:22] Speaker 2: when doctor Monroe began to introduce a year ago this
[5:30] Speaker 2: teaching on Kingdom community. As I followed as he taught,
[5:37] Speaker 2: I realized that you know an understanding of kingdom. Community
[5:44] Speaker 2: will solve the world's problems. You're going to see why
[5:48] Speaker 2: in a few minutes, because community answers everything, everything, all
[5:58] Speaker 2: of the challenges that we face in our nations. I
[6:04] Speaker 2: want to go to the second definition. The first one
[6:10] Speaker 2: you have already. The second one I want to go to.
[6:13] Speaker 2: Here a community, and this is my definition. I appreciate
[6:19] Speaker 2: mister Webster, and he's done well, but I want to
[6:22] Speaker 2: give mine a group of people distinguished by a commitment
[6:31] Speaker 2: and submission to a common set of values, laws, moral standards, ideals, norms,
[6:44] Speaker 2: and spiritual authority. This is a loaded definition, and every
[6:52] Speaker 2: word was chosen purposefully because of its meaning. There and
[6:59] Speaker 2: that last part it is laws, its values, laws, moral standards, ideals, norms,
[7:09] Speaker 2: and spiritual authority very important, unified by a corporate responsibility
[7:16] Speaker 2: and accountability. Now, if you examine that definition, you will
[7:23] Speaker 2: begin immediately to see why our communities are in the
[7:28] Speaker 2: state they're in because values, laws, moral standards, ideals, norms.
[7:37] Speaker 3: And spiritual authority are usually missing. They're usually missing.
[7:44] Speaker 2: Instead of following agreed to values and norms and moral
[7:49] Speaker 2: standards and adhering to a spiritual authority. In most nations,
[7:54] Speaker 2: it's being debated. People are trying to determine and come
[8:00] Speaker 2: up with their own.
[8:03] Speaker 3: Values, norms, spiritual authority.
[8:09] Speaker 2: The concept of community is as old as creation. If
[8:16] Speaker 2: you're going to teach on the kingdom and kingdom community,
[8:19] Speaker 2: it's important that those you are teaching understand that this
[8:25] Speaker 2: is not something you just dreamed up last night. Hello,
[8:33] Speaker 2: It's not something that you came up with. The concept
[8:38] Speaker 2: of community is as old as creation. And the more
[8:42] Speaker 2: I read the Bible, the more I'm continually convinced that
[8:47] Speaker 2: God is smart. I mean, I was always convinced, but
[8:53] Speaker 2: the more I read the Word of God, the more
[8:55] Speaker 2: I'm continually convinced God is smart. God in ten for
[9:01] Speaker 2: his kingdom to be extended on Earth through the establishment
[9:06] Speaker 2: of a kingdom community. You know, in heaven there is
[9:12] Speaker 2: a kingdom community and everything is always in order. Hello,
[9:20] Speaker 2: It's only on earth that we get mixed up and
[9:25] Speaker 2: messed up.
[9:29] Speaker 3: Could that be? Why?
[9:30] Speaker 2: Then Jesus said, this is how to pray your kingdom come.
[9:39] Speaker 2: Just what's happening in heaven, Let it come to earth
[9:46] Speaker 2: and thy will be.
[9:49] Speaker 3: Done.
[9:50] Speaker 2: Do you know that in heaven there is never any chaos?
[9:54] Speaker 2: One fellow tried that. We His name was Lucifer, and
[9:57] Speaker 2: he changed his name afterwards to Satan. Remember that fellow. Yeah,
[10:04] Speaker 2: And obviously the way that was solved, it gave a
[10:08] Speaker 2: message to anyone else, don't try that. That could be
[10:15] Speaker 2: detrimental to your future. So since that fellow tried that,
[10:21] Speaker 2: no one else has tried it. Interesting, Eh, all right,
[10:27] Speaker 2: go with me to Genesis chapter one for a moment,
[10:30] Speaker 2: because I want you to see this. It's important as
[10:33] Speaker 2: you share on the Kingdom. That's why doctor Monroe gave
[10:38] Speaker 2: you so many references straight to the word. Why it's
[10:42] Speaker 2: important as you teach this for people to appreciate those
[10:46] Speaker 2: you're speaking to that this is not something you dreamed up.
[10:53] Speaker 2: You're not off in error somewhere. Genesis chapter one, verse
[11:01] Speaker 2: twenty six. Then God said, let us make man in
[11:09] Speaker 2: our image according to our likeness. Let them have dominion
[11:16] Speaker 2: over the fish of the sea, over the birds of
[11:19] Speaker 2: the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth,
[11:21] Speaker 2: and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
[11:25] Speaker 2: So God created man in his own image, in the
[11:27] Speaker 2: image of God. He created him male and female. He
[11:30] Speaker 2: created them. Everybody, say them, all right, We're gonna come
[11:34] Speaker 2: back to that. Then God blessed to all right, and
[11:38] Speaker 2: God said, too, be fruitful and multiply fill the earth
[11:44] Speaker 2: and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea,
[11:47] Speaker 2: over the birds of the air, over every living thing
[11:50] Speaker 2: that moves on the earth. The very design of creation
[11:58] Speaker 2: indicates community. Underline the thems that you see there in
[12:04] Speaker 2: those verses. Hello, there's not just a person. One of
[12:10] Speaker 2: our challenges in our present environment is that we have
[12:19] Speaker 2: been programmed by the adversary who has infiltrated our thoughts.
[12:28] Speaker 2: Worried about thoughts last night? Okay, he has infiltrated our
[12:33] Speaker 2: thoughts and cause us to focus just on ourselves. That's
[12:44] Speaker 2: why it's teaching about kingdom. Community is so important. We
[12:49] Speaker 2: claim to be following the king, but in our thinking
[12:55] Speaker 2: because we've been contaminated like we're following someone else, so
[13:04] Speaker 2: we only focus on ourselves. It's all about me. I'm
[13:13] Speaker 2: just gonna take care of me. Since community, then is
[13:21] Speaker 2: a god concept, whose concept is it? Whose is it?
[13:29] Speaker 2: That's important? That's important because you see if it's if
[13:33] Speaker 2: it's a man's concept, then it's open to your interpretation.
[13:39] Speaker 2: That's important because you see, if it's If it's a
[13:42] Speaker 2: man's idea, then guess what your approach is as good
[13:46] Speaker 2: as mine.
[13:50] Speaker 3: Whatever you say goes. Why should I listen to you?
[13:55] Speaker 2: If it's a man's concept, No, it's a God concept.
[14:00] Speaker 2: Since it is a God concept, then guess what Man
[14:04] Speaker 2: had to be made according to plan?
[14:12] Speaker 3: He had to be made according to plan.
[14:14] Speaker 2: That is why he was made in God's image. He
[14:20] Speaker 2: was made to act like God. He looks like God spiritually,
[14:25] Speaker 2: and then he was made to act like God.
[14:30] Speaker 3: Why? Because God is trying to do what.
[14:34] Speaker 2: Establish a proto type, So you've got to have access.
[14:40] Speaker 3: To the original.
[14:45] Speaker 2: If man was not made to look like God spiritually
[14:50] Speaker 2: to be able to have access to God, he could
[14:54] Speaker 2: not create the prototype.
[14:58] Speaker 3: I wonder if you're hearing me.
[15:06] Speaker 2: If he was not made to be able to act
[15:10] Speaker 2: like God, how does God act? God is not limited
[15:17] Speaker 2: to what he sees. God can create what he wants,
[15:27] Speaker 2: which means you can change your.
[15:31] Speaker 3: Thinking and your behavior.
[15:34] Speaker 2: See, you may have been brought up a certain way
[15:38] Speaker 2: where in your home it was just every man for himself. Hello,
[15:43] Speaker 2: I think sometime if you grow up in a big family,
[15:45] Speaker 2: you know as every man for themselves. Well, the good
[15:51] Speaker 2: news is you can change, you can learn community. You
[15:58] Speaker 2: can learn community. The word them there is indicative of community,
[16:04] Speaker 2: and it's interesting. In verse twenty eight, let's look at
[16:06] Speaker 2: that for a second.
[16:09] Speaker 3: Then God blessed who.
[16:11] Speaker 2: Yeah, the initial blessing was on a community. I tell
[16:27] Speaker 2: you it's God's idea. It's not a man's idea. It
[16:29] Speaker 2: is God's idea. We're not smart to come up with this.
[16:35] Speaker 2: We think we are, but we're not. When community is disrupted,
[16:43] Speaker 2: we lose some of the intended blessing.
[16:49] Speaker 3: Now this is see Now, this is I'm explaining to
[16:52] Speaker 3: you here the real tragedy of man's sin in the garden.
[17:01] Speaker 3: This is the real tragedy.
[17:03] Speaker 2: We're going to see it as we go along, a
[17:04] Speaker 2: little Clara. When community is disrupted. Everything was going fine
[17:09] Speaker 2: in the community of Earth until disobedience and sin added
[17:16] Speaker 2: the picture. Isn't that interesting? Everything was going fine. It
[17:23] Speaker 2: tells me then that if we get back in alignment
[17:28] Speaker 2: with what God intended before Adam and Eve sin, guess what,
[17:33] Speaker 2: everything will go fine in the community. We lose some
[17:43] Speaker 2: of the intended blessing. When community is disrupted, we lose
[17:48] Speaker 2: some of the intended benefits as well. And protection immediately
[17:55] Speaker 2: they lost their protection. Their protection departed, and all of
[17:59] Speaker 2: a sudden, now they're trying to protect themselves with leaves. Okay,
[18:07] Speaker 2: why didn't they need the leaves before? Simple they knew
[18:10] Speaker 2: they were already protected because the community was intact. When
[18:17] Speaker 2: the community is intact, there is protection. There's protection. First
[18:27] Speaker 2: B to five and eight. Very interesting Verse one. I
[18:31] Speaker 2: think that we've misunderstood quite a bit. I think we've
[18:35] Speaker 2: misunderstood it quite a bit. Let's read it says, be sober,
[18:41] Speaker 2: be vigilant because your adversary, the devil, walks about as
[18:45] Speaker 2: a roaring lion, seeking whom we made devour. Now, you know,
[18:53] Speaker 2: some of us have interpreted that to mean that the
[18:58] Speaker 2: devil's after sinners. Well maybe he is the point, but
[19:03] Speaker 2: I don't really think that's the interpretation.
[19:08] Speaker 3: I think he's.
[19:08] Speaker 2: Really after whomoever he finds outside of the protection of
[19:16] Speaker 2: the community. Yes, you watched National Geographic, I'm sure somewhere
[19:28] Speaker 2: along the way.
[19:30] Speaker 3: And you're seeing how lions hunt. Huh. How do they hunt?
[19:38] Speaker 3: They look for a prey that is either young or weak. Young.
[19:47] Speaker 2: They don't quite understand that the better stay with the herd.
[19:50] Speaker 2: You know, they're off trying their own thing right, or
[19:53] Speaker 2: they're injured somehow, they're weak and they can't keep up.
[19:58] Speaker 2: That's who the lion he looks for because he knows
[20:04] Speaker 2: if he tries to get the herd, he's in trouble.
[20:12] Speaker 3: He might be the king of the jungle, but he
[20:13] Speaker 3: will get beaten, so he goes after that one.
[20:24] Speaker 2: Whenever you leave the community, you become open.
[20:31] Speaker 3: Season for the adversary.
[20:37] Speaker 2: You know, there's some folks that say, I don't need
[20:40] Speaker 2: to go to any church.
[20:41] Speaker 3: I can have church right home here me.
[20:44] Speaker 2: I don't need anybody else, all right, no problem, Be sober,
[20:51] Speaker 2: be vigilant. Why because your adversary is looking for people
[21:01] Speaker 2: like that looking. Oh okay, that one, okay, all right.
[21:05] Speaker 2: See this will help you to help those that you
[21:11] Speaker 2: teach to understand why they need to stay connected in
[21:21] Speaker 2: the cause of human relations.
[21:23] Speaker 3: In any church.
[21:25] Speaker 2: Or fellowship, there will be misunderstandings, your feelings may get hurt,
[21:34] Speaker 2: but you don't leave the protection of the community. See,
[21:42] Speaker 2: the community is your protection, and the adversary loves when
[21:51] Speaker 2: you say, hmm, I don't like the way they treated me.
[21:57] Speaker 3: I'm just not going to church. Devils is great. Welcome
[22:01] Speaker 3: home opens his arms for you, and.
[22:06] Speaker 2: He starts to do what he starts to do, exactly
[22:09] Speaker 2: what we heard last night about thoughts again, right, He
[22:12] Speaker 2: starts to throw some thoughts your way, and before you
[22:19] Speaker 2: realize what happens, you're off there by yourself and all
[22:23] Speaker 2: kinds of things setting on you. Bitterness because you're isolating yourself.
[22:32] Speaker 2: Next thing, if you're not careful, depression, self pity.
[22:37] Speaker 3: See, you're getting beat up. The lion has you.
[22:43] Speaker 2: Everybody say community. Absence of community protection results in vulnerability.
[22:52] Speaker 2: You become vulnerable to the attacks of the adversary, lone
[22:58] Speaker 2: wolf mentality. Family, close friends around you, your church family,
[23:11] Speaker 2: they are your protection.
[23:12] Speaker 3: They're your community.
[23:18] Speaker 2: Now, I find it very interesting that the teacher of
[23:23] Speaker 2: all teachers, the Lord of all lords, the King of
[23:25] Speaker 2: all kings himself had a community. Isn't that interesting, Peter,
[23:30] Speaker 2: James and John to have disciples.
[23:34] Speaker 3: He had, he had a He had a community.
[23:38] Speaker 2: Did you notice Jesus did not come on the scene
[23:40] Speaker 2: and say, you know what, I'm.
[23:41] Speaker 3: God, I don't need anybody. Go back. I'm gonna give
[23:53] Speaker 3: you a little homework.
[23:56] Speaker 2: Go back and study the four Gospels, the account specifically
[24:06] Speaker 2: of the Getsenemi experience. And you'll get a picture, you'll
[24:13] Speaker 2: get a revelation.
[24:14] Speaker 3: Hm.
[24:18] Speaker 2: Why did God himself Hm take these disciples.
[24:24] Speaker 3: With him in the garden he understood what he created
[24:32] Speaker 3: called community. Hmmm. Sorry, he shouldn't need anybody. He's gone.
[24:42] Speaker 3: Why does he need any one?
[24:47] Speaker 2: Kaysenami was where in my humble estimation, this is my estimation.
[24:53] Speaker 2: I didn't say God said, all right, it's get senemi.
[24:59] Speaker 2: Where Jesus dealt with the cost of our sins, that's
[25:07] Speaker 2: where he fell the right. That's just my humble estimation.
[25:13] Speaker 2: And at that point he wanted community around him to
[25:18] Speaker 2: help him bear it. Hebrews chapter ten. Just go there
[25:27] Speaker 2: for a quick moment, just for a quick second, verse nineteen. Therefore, brethren,
[25:45] Speaker 2: and we gonna look at this in a different light,
[25:46] Speaker 2: this time, having boldness to enter the holiest by the
[25:49] Speaker 2: blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which
[25:52] Speaker 2: he consecrated for us through the veil that is his flesh,
[25:55] Speaker 2: and having a high priest over the House of God,
[25:58] Speaker 2: let us draw there with a true heart and a
[26:00] Speaker 2: full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an
[26:04] Speaker 2: evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let
[26:07] Speaker 2: us hold fast, the confession of our faith without wavering,
[26:11] Speaker 2: for he who promised is faithful. Now that's one aspect
[26:16] Speaker 2: of two relationships that he's referring to here, that's the
[26:20] Speaker 2: relationship between God and man. But it's interesting what he
[26:25] Speaker 2: says in the next two words this, watch this, and
[26:29] Speaker 2: let us consider one. I can't hear you everybody say community.
[26:38] Speaker 2: Now he starts out by dealing with the relationship between
[26:42] Speaker 2: God and man. Then he goes to the relationship between
[26:48] Speaker 2: man and man. Let us consider one another in order
[26:53] Speaker 2: to stir up love and good works. You can't do
[26:57] Speaker 2: that if you're not in a community.
[27:01] Speaker 3: Hm.
[27:03] Speaker 2: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the
[27:09] Speaker 2: manner of some, but exhorting one another and so much.
[27:14] Speaker 3: More as you see the day approaching.
[27:18] Speaker 2: God is interested in the two relationships.
[27:23] Speaker 3: Al I don't need any just me and God. Hallelujah.
[27:27] Speaker 2: You know you try that on there, and to try
[27:28] Speaker 2: to get spiritual. That's what that's supposed to mean, you're spiritual.
[27:32] Speaker 2: It just means you know, the word hallelujah. Donnecessarily mean
[27:36] Speaker 2: you're spiritual. H seven. Community relationship keys one. Our relationship
[27:49] Speaker 2: with God is key to our relationship with Man. If
[27:58] Speaker 2: your relationship with God is out of order, then I
[28:04] Speaker 2: can predict the kind of relationships you're gonna have with.
[28:09] Speaker 3: Your brothers and sisters.
[28:14] Speaker 2: See if your relationship with God is out of order,
[28:17] Speaker 2: guess what. You have no problem lying to your brother
[28:20] Speaker 2: or sister. You have no problem stealing, You have no
[28:26] Speaker 2: problem committing adultery, phnication, no matter, because your relationship with
[28:31] Speaker 2: God is out of order. That's the first key our
[28:39] Speaker 2: relationship with God. Secondly, our relationship with God is what
[28:44] Speaker 2: governs our relationship with Man. That's why community is so
[28:52] Speaker 2: very important.
[28:56] Speaker 3: God is Mine.
[28:59] Speaker 2: Is our relationship with God that regulates. It's the regulator,
[29:06] Speaker 2: if you will, of our relationship with man.
[29:11] Speaker 3: Number three.
[29:12] Speaker 2: God gives us the ability. He gives us the ability.
[29:18] Speaker 2: He makes us able.
[29:23] Speaker 3: You know.
[29:25] Speaker 2: The reality is this, There are some persons that you
[29:31] Speaker 2: encounter who, for whatever reason, it may relate to their upbringing,
[29:39] Speaker 2: it it may relate to some of the things that
[29:42] Speaker 2: happen to them in their you know, and their experiences
[29:46] Speaker 2: and their other relationships, whatever it is. It may just
[29:50] Speaker 2: be ignorance. But there are persons who you will come
[29:54] Speaker 2: in contact with who are more difficult than others to
[30:02] Speaker 2: get along with some of all. Sound like you know
[30:05] Speaker 2: what I'm talking about, getting a little witness here somewhere.
[30:11] Speaker 2: Now here's the thing. What makes you able? How do
[30:19] Speaker 2: you get the billt to relate to them? It is
[30:28] Speaker 2: only God who can make you able to love them
[30:35] Speaker 2: in spite of their unlovable behavior. Can I put it
[30:40] Speaker 2: that way? It's only God that can do that. Only
[30:48] Speaker 2: God can do that. Someone is acting totally unlovable. What
[30:59] Speaker 2: do you do with them? Not what you want to do?
[31:07] Speaker 2: Do not do what you want to do, Do what
[31:13] Speaker 2: God gives you the uh bear luve t. Do what
[31:20] Speaker 2: God makes you able to do. And then you realizes
[31:27] Speaker 2: you deal with them, and you step back and you say, ah,
[31:32] Speaker 2: only God could do that, because I sure had another idea.
[31:40] Speaker 3: Oh, bless the Lord. Alright.
[31:44] Speaker 2: Number four, God commands us to relate to one another
[31:50] Speaker 2: in love. Now, the key word I want you to
[31:52] Speaker 2: see there is command. Have you ever wondered why God
[32:01] Speaker 2: will say some things to you sometime and then other
[32:04] Speaker 2: times God will command you. Let's think about another word
[32:16] Speaker 2: that comes from the word command, commandor And I say
[32:20] Speaker 2: that word, what do you think of?
[32:21] Speaker 3: Right away? Military? All right?
[32:25] Speaker 2: Army sergeant drill sergeant especially right, let's think of him
[32:29] Speaker 2: all right, that's the guy that gets you. When you
[32:31] Speaker 2: first go in, you claim you want to be a soldier,
[32:37] Speaker 2: and this guy commands you every day all day.
[32:44] Speaker 3: First, come on, get up, Oh I want to sleep.
[32:47] Speaker 2: I want to get up, Go up there and run
[32:59] Speaker 2: three miles.
[33:00] Speaker 3: Huh, let's go. Okay, what's happening to you? You are
[33:09] Speaker 3: responding not to what you feel.
[33:18] Speaker 2: Because what you feel like is going back to bed
[33:26] Speaker 2: or taking a break.
[33:29] Speaker 3: But you are being coldmnded. So listen.
[33:38] Speaker 2: If the drill sergeant smart enough to figure out that
[33:42] Speaker 2: he cannot come to you and say, please, do you
[33:45] Speaker 2: feel like getting up this morning? Do you feel like
[33:51] Speaker 2: being a soldier today?
[33:55] Speaker 3: Do you? Sir? No?
[33:57] Speaker 2: If he's figured out, he's gotta come. Man, you guess what,
[34:02] Speaker 2: the one who created him smarter than him. Yes, and
[34:06] Speaker 2: he's already figured out. When it comes to love, he
[34:10] Speaker 2: is not suggesting a single thing to you because you
[34:13] Speaker 2: will not do it unless he commands you. Community will
[34:22] Speaker 2: never work. If God suggests to you to love, well,
[34:31] Speaker 2: now we understand his words. Look better. Say if you
[34:36] Speaker 2: just love those who love you, you.
[34:39] Speaker 3: Know better than the vegans, even they do that.
[34:45] Speaker 2: So he commands you to love those you don't feel
[34:52] Speaker 2: like loving at the time because they are behaving unloveable. Alright,
[35:03] Speaker 2: next time your spouse is behaving unseemly, just say to them, honey,
[35:13] Speaker 2: right now, you're behaving on loveable. But thank God I
[35:19] Speaker 2: have the abe light.
[35:21] Speaker 3: To love you anyhow. So God is so smart.
[35:31] Speaker 2: See, God knows that community will not work if he
[35:35] Speaker 2: does not command us to love each other.
[35:40] Speaker 3: See, this is the.
[35:42] Speaker 2: Kind of stuff that keeps a kingdom community together. Yeah, yes,
[35:47] Speaker 2: my feelings was hurt, but I gotta get over it somehow,
[35:52] Speaker 2: cause I don't have a option whether I got where
[35:54] Speaker 2: I can love him or love or not. I gotta
[35:58] Speaker 2: deal with it cause I am commanded to love. Romans thirteen.
[36:10] Speaker 2: I don't have time to turn there. You can just
[36:12] Speaker 2: go there in your own study time talks about loving
[36:16] Speaker 2: your neighbors, yourself and so fulfilling the law. Love for
[36:20] Speaker 2: self is the measure of our love for others. God
[36:25] Speaker 2: is so smart.
[36:28] Speaker 3: Think about that.
[36:31] Speaker 2: I don't know anyone who's thinking correctly. Let me qualify it.
[36:36] Speaker 2: Who will not love themselves if they're think incorrectly? Okay,
[36:46] Speaker 2: So God is smart, God says Okay, you love yourself?
[36:50] Speaker 3: Yes, God, I love myself. Good.
[36:52] Speaker 2: Okay, good, let's use that same measure. See cause if
[36:59] Speaker 2: he didn't do that, let me tell you what you
[37:00] Speaker 2: would have done. God has said you love yourself? Yes, God,
[37:04] Speaker 2: you know I love myself. But why are you not
[37:06] Speaker 2: loving brother soul and soul, sister so and so?
[37:09] Speaker 3: Well?
[37:09] Speaker 2: I don't need to use that same measure, now, God,
[37:14] Speaker 2: let's not use that measure, not the measure I love
[37:16] Speaker 2: myself with.
[37:17] Speaker 3: So God is smart. Do you know God was here
[37:21] Speaker 3: before you? God's is Okay?
[37:26] Speaker 2: Your love for yourself is the same measure that you.
[37:31] Speaker 3: Use to love others with. Do you ever stop loving yourself? No?
[37:37] Speaker 2: No, no, let me go a little deeper. Let me
[37:42] Speaker 2: go a little deeper. When you do something dumb and stupid,
[37:49] Speaker 2: I know you'll only admit it to yourself. Okay, all right,
[37:52] Speaker 2: But when you do something dumb and stupid, do you
[37:54] Speaker 2: stop loving yourself?
[38:00] Speaker 3: Think about that? Eh?
[38:02] Speaker 2: You don't say, well, you know I did that stupid thing.
[38:04] Speaker 2: I'll never love myself again.
[38:09] Speaker 3: You don't say that. Huh.
[38:14] Speaker 2: Now what do you do? This thing is simple, isn't it.
[38:18] Speaker 2: What do you do? You forgive your self?
[38:26] Speaker 3: Yes?
[38:30] Speaker 2: You may feel bad about it, you may regret it
[38:33] Speaker 2: for a while, but it comes a point where you
[38:36] Speaker 2: forgive yourself and you go back to loving yourself. So
[38:42] Speaker 2: he says, that's the very same measure if you claim
[38:51] Speaker 2: to be a kingdom citizen. Hello, See, this is the
[38:58] Speaker 2: stuff that this English is you as a kingdom citizen.
[39:06] Speaker 2: Everybody around you knows that that person on the job
[39:10] Speaker 2: did you wrong, and you have every right to never
[39:17] Speaker 2: speak to them again in this life.
[39:23] Speaker 3: But you turn around and you bring them some coffee.
[39:28] Speaker 2: My lord, something is wrong with you. You must be
[39:32] Speaker 2: from another kingdom. That's what distinguishes you as a kingdom citizen.
[39:46] Speaker 2: Not your T shirt or your bumper sticker. Where are
[39:53] Speaker 2: you from? You know what she did to you. Love
[40:01] Speaker 2: for others fulfills the law. I ain't gonna touch that.
[40:05] Speaker 2: It's another story, all right. Number five. Our relationship with
[40:10] Speaker 2: others should result in encouraging them to pursue good works.
[40:15] Speaker 2: He even tells you how to build this community. He says,
[40:20] Speaker 2: consider one another, to spur them on, ignite something under
[40:27] Speaker 2: them to pursue what good works. This speaks of the
[40:34] Speaker 2: kind of conversation and activities that we should be involved in.
[40:38] Speaker 2: Good works, very easy, very easy. God's figured it out.
[40:46] Speaker 2: And these good works are the fruit of our relationship
[40:49] Speaker 2: with each other. The conversation, the kind of conversation activities
[40:55] Speaker 2: that we should have with each other should spur us
[40:58] Speaker 2: on the good works, and that becomes the fruit of
[41:00] Speaker 2: that relationship. Some folks are in the wrong relationships. This
[41:04] Speaker 2: is why you gotta teach community. See, some people lives
[41:09] Speaker 2: are in a mess because they don't understand what community
[41:15] Speaker 2: is about and the figure everyone should be a part
[41:19] Speaker 2: of their community.
[41:21] Speaker 3: Hello. Six.
[41:25] Speaker 2: Relationship requires contact and interaction formal and informal. You cannot
[41:31] Speaker 2: build a community without contact. You never build a relationship
[41:37] Speaker 2: without contact. When you're dating, what do you do? Plenty contact,
[41:44] Speaker 2: plenty communication and I mean hold in hands. I saw
[41:50] Speaker 2: some of you plenty communication all the time you're building
[41:58] Speaker 2: a relationship. You cannot build the community without interacting with
[42:02] Speaker 2: each other, not just on Sundays, but during the week.
[42:08] Speaker 2: There has to be those venues, there has to be
[42:11] Speaker 2: those activities. Why Because you're trying to build a community.
[42:17] Speaker 2: And as we come together and we spur each other
[42:22] Speaker 2: on to good works. I encourage you to do that
[42:28] Speaker 2: which is good. You encourage me do that, which is good. Wow,
[42:32] Speaker 2: now we're building this community. Interaction gives opportunity number seven
[42:43] Speaker 2: for encouragement, support forgiveness very important. Remember what I said
[42:50] Speaker 2: a little while ago. In any human, prolonged human interaction,
[42:55] Speaker 2: there will be misunderstandings, there'll be differences. So number seven
[43:02] Speaker 2: is that interaction gives opportunity for encouragement, support forgiveness.
[43:10] Speaker 3: Think about it.
[43:13] Speaker 2: You should not be in a Kingdom community where you
[43:16] Speaker 2: have walked around for ten fifteen years with something that
[43:20] Speaker 2: you're holding in against someone. There ought to have been
[43:23] Speaker 2: some opportunity for forgiveness to take place, for you to
[43:28] Speaker 2: interact with that person and you come to the point
[43:31] Speaker 2: where you say, you know what, listen, what you did
[43:34] Speaker 2: really really disturb me, It really hurt me, it really
[43:36] Speaker 2: offended me, whatever it is, and you've got opportunity now
[43:41] Speaker 2: for that person to ask forgiveness. Let's get this community
[43:44] Speaker 2: back in order. And burden sharing very important. They're important.
[43:54] Speaker 2: Everybody faces challenges from time to time. No one is exempt.
[43:59] Speaker 2: I don't care how long you've been saved, and we
[44:03] Speaker 2: need those alongside of us who can help.
[44:06] Speaker 3: The bear the burden with us.
[44:09] Speaker 2: When people bear the burden with you, it makes it
[44:13] Speaker 2: a little easier to handle. I'm all right. Huh. Someone
[44:19] Speaker 2: comes alongside and says, listen, I know it's rough right now,
[44:23] Speaker 2: but I'm praying for you.
[44:26] Speaker 3: You want to talk, I'm here. You can talk to me.
[44:29] Speaker 2: It makes it a little easier. It doesn't take it away,
[44:33] Speaker 2: you know. Bearing one another's but is an interesting concept.
[44:38] Speaker 2: It's a whole other subject. When you help someone bear
[44:43] Speaker 2: a burden, it's not that you come and take it away,
[44:46] Speaker 2: but you're helping them with it. I say again, go
[44:50] Speaker 2: back in your study time and read get sending me again.
[44:57] Speaker 2: Jesus didn't want the disciples to take away what he
[44:59] Speaker 2: had to do. He just wanted them to be there
[45:02] Speaker 2: help him bear it. Relationship is one of the foundation
[45:09] Speaker 2: stuones of community, and I want to give you seven
[45:12] Speaker 2: foundation relationships stunes. Number one, there can be no community
[45:16] Speaker 2: without relationship, absolutely none. There can be no community without relationship.
[45:23] Speaker 3: Two.
[45:23] Speaker 2: Relationships create community. That's why it is that them in Genesis.
[45:33] Speaker 2: Relationships create community. And if you really understand what happened
[45:40] Speaker 2: in Genesis from a different perspective, you realize that what
[45:44] Speaker 2: the adversary really did was come in there to disrupt community.
[45:50] Speaker 2: See he pulls one of the members aside of the community.
[45:53] Speaker 2: He say, listen, did God really say that? No, listen, listen, listen.
[45:57] Speaker 2: Don't mind what your husband believes. It's called dissension.
[46:03] Speaker 3: It's called dissension. Don't mind what your husband believed? Did
[46:07] Speaker 3: God really say? Listen? Good to me, and I can
[46:10] Speaker 3: give you a revelation. Listen to me. That's you know,
[46:12] Speaker 3: this is the devil talking to you. Listen to me.
[46:14] Speaker 3: I can give you a revelation, don't you know?
[46:17] Speaker 2: She probably said, but but you know my husband and
[46:19] Speaker 2: I don't worry about your husband.
[46:24] Speaker 3: Interesting.
[46:26] Speaker 2: He really came in there to disrupt community because he
[46:32] Speaker 2: understands the power of community. Yes, relationships define community. They
[46:40] Speaker 2: give definition to community. Contamination of the first family is
[46:48] Speaker 2: contamination of the first community. Sin contaminated the first community,
[46:55] Speaker 2: and it's been contaminating communities ever since, HM, ever since.
[47:04] Speaker 2: And it's interesting to me that the adversary continues to
[47:09] Speaker 2: attack the first unit of community called the family. MM.
[47:17] Speaker 2: Not by chance, not by accident. He knows what he's doing.
[47:23] Speaker 2: He's after the community. So he goes after the first unit,
[47:28] Speaker 2: just as he did in Genesis. He never changes his methods,
[47:31] Speaker 2: you know, same old tricks, same old tricks. Contamination of
[47:35] Speaker 2: the first family was through the contamination of the relationship itself.
[47:43] Speaker 2: Preservation of relationships is what preserves community. If we preserve
[47:50] Speaker 2: our relationships, we will preserve our kingdom community. And it's
[47:57] Speaker 2: the healing of relationships that will heal our communities. So
[48:06] Speaker 2: if the family has heard in it healing, so you
[48:11] Speaker 2: can heal a community. And if that unit is healed,
[48:17] Speaker 2: then the persons in that unit can go out into
[48:20] Speaker 2: the larger community and take that healing there. Or if
[48:26] Speaker 2: they're not healed, guess what they take, They take that
[48:31] Speaker 2: same contamination out there.
[48:35] Speaker 3: Yes, HM, God is so smart.
[48:41] Speaker 2: This kingdom community is the answer to all of our
[48:44] Speaker 2: questions and problems because a healed first unit the family
[48:53] Speaker 2: becomes a healing agent for the larger community. But if
[49:00] Speaker 2: that first unit is not healed, it cannot heal the
[49:06] Speaker 2: larger community. And that's why the family is always under attack.
[49:16] Speaker 2: The devil understands community.
[49:20] Speaker 3: HM.
[49:22] Speaker 2: Let's talk about the corporate effect of community actions. First
[49:30] Speaker 2: principle is this, there is no private actions in the family.
[49:40] Speaker 2: On the pause for a moment, I wanted to sink in.
[49:45] Speaker 2: There is no private actions in the family I want
[49:51] Speaker 2: to go back to Genesis.
[49:52] Speaker 3: Just for a moment. Again.
[49:55] Speaker 2: You know, we don't know where Adam was, okay when
[49:57] Speaker 2: this took place. We don't know if he is right
[49:59] Speaker 2: there and just didn't anything, or you're awful. We really
[50:01] Speaker 2: don't know. But the dealers is that simply this at
[50:07] Speaker 2: some point there was an encounter. It would seem just
[50:13] Speaker 2: between Satan and Eve.
[50:18] Speaker 3: So you could almost say this was a private meeting.
[50:31] Speaker 3: M hmm.
[50:33] Speaker 2: This was a private meeting. But that private meeting messed
[50:43] Speaker 2: up the whole deal until this date. Hello, I say
[50:51] Speaker 2: until this day, that private meeting.
[51:01] Speaker 3: Wow wow, wow, wow wow. There are no private actions
[51:09] Speaker 3: in the family.
[51:11] Speaker 2: That's in your family, as in your house, that's in
[51:14] Speaker 2: your family, as in your church.
[51:17] Speaker 3: I said, that's us in your.
[51:18] Speaker 2: Family, in your church as well. See, when you when
[51:22] Speaker 2: you teach community, people have got to understand we are
[51:27] Speaker 2: a community. There are no private actions. I can't just
[51:35] Speaker 2: go off and do my own thing.
[51:39] Speaker 3: And so this is a private meeting. This is in
[51:43] Speaker 3: your business.
[51:45] Speaker 2: Yes, it's gonna be my business in a little while
[51:48] Speaker 2: because it's gonna affect me.
[51:54] Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, all right, let me let me bring
[51:56] Speaker 3: it home. Let me bring it home.
[52:01] Speaker 2: When someone who is known in the church, yes, does
[52:08] Speaker 2: something that is sinful and wrong and against the word
[52:15] Speaker 2: of God, what do those outside the church say?
[52:22] Speaker 3: That's the way those preachers are. I don't know what
[52:30] Speaker 3: the fella. NOI wasn't even though I don't know him,
[52:36] Speaker 3: but guess what it's affected me.
[52:43] Speaker 2: There are no private actions. Secondly, there is no private
[52:48] Speaker 2: actions in the community. Personal actions are never private. They
[52:56] Speaker 2: may be personal, but they're not private. And the technology
[53:01] Speaker 2: today nothing private day Hello, I mean nothing is private,
[53:09] Speaker 2: not today. Numbers chapter thirteen. I want to turn there
[53:19] Speaker 2: for a moment. As I close, I will refer to it.
[53:30] Speaker 2: I won't try to read it, but I want to
[53:32] Speaker 2: refer to it. The spies were sent out to spy
[53:37] Speaker 2: out the land. Twelve of them went ten came back
[53:42] Speaker 2: and said, what we can't do this. The giants in
[53:46] Speaker 2: the land mind they brought these big grapes, but that
[53:52] Speaker 2: wasn't enough motivations for them to have faith. They came
[53:55] Speaker 2: back to look at the big grapes and how we
[53:57] Speaker 2: can do this?
[53:59] Speaker 3: And what happened?
[54:00] Speaker 2: Something interesting happened when they came back with that report.
[54:05] Speaker 2: And I want her to just refer to this. Go
[54:11] Speaker 2: with me Chapter thirteen, and they were verse twenty five,
[54:19] Speaker 2: and they returned from spying out the land after forty days.
[54:21] Speaker 2: Now they departed and came back to Moses. And they
[54:23] Speaker 2: were in and all the congregation of the children of Israel,
[54:25] Speaker 2: in the buildiness of Paran at Kaidish. They brought back
[54:28] Speaker 2: word to them into all the congregation and showed them
[54:30] Speaker 2: the fruit of the land. Then they told him and said,
[54:32] Speaker 2: we went to the land where you sent us. It
[54:34] Speaker 2: is truly flows with milk and honey, and this is
[54:36] Speaker 2: its fruit. Nevertheless, the people who dwell in the land
[54:39] Speaker 2: are strong. The cities are fortified very large. Moreover, we
[54:42] Speaker 2: saw the descendants of anach there. The Malachites dwell in
[54:46] Speaker 2: the landas south, the Hittites, the Jebucides, the Amorites dwell
[54:48] Speaker 2: in the mountains, and the Canaanites the Termites. Then Caleb
[54:54] Speaker 2: quieted Verse twenty to thirty. I want you to see,
[54:57] Speaker 2: then Caleb quieted the people. Caleb did what Why did
[55:03] Speaker 2: he have to quiet the people because the people were frightened.
[55:11] Speaker 2: Now here's what I want you to see their ten
[55:13] Speaker 2: effects eleven. Rather, I want you to see one. Those
[55:19] Speaker 2: ten who were sent had a lack of understanding of
[55:22] Speaker 2: the power of God's word as it relates to community. See,
[55:27] Speaker 2: when God gives his word is to protect the community.
[55:33] Speaker 2: God said to them, look, you can take the land.
[55:35] Speaker 2: I'm giving the land to you. Go possess the land.
[55:38] Speaker 2: These ten came back with a lack of understanding of
[55:42] Speaker 2: the power of God's word. Secondly, they did not understand
[55:48] Speaker 2: destiny as it related to the community. They were about
[55:52] Speaker 2: the mess of the destiny of that community.
[55:56] Speaker 3: Are you hearing me?
[56:00] Speaker 2: Lock of community? Understand their community is a serious thing.
[56:03] Speaker 2: Caleb had to quickly quiet them down because these guys
[56:06] Speaker 2: was about the mess up destiny. If you really understand community,
[56:16] Speaker 2: you understand it's about destiny. You and I being a
[56:23] Speaker 2: part of a kingdom community. It's bigger than just you
[56:27] Speaker 2: and I. It's about destiny. It's about what God is
[56:36] Speaker 2: calling people to do with their lives, how he's calling
[56:39] Speaker 2: them to change their environment around them. It's about destiny.
[56:44] Speaker 2: These ten did not understand that. Thirdly, they did not
[56:49] Speaker 2: understand their community responsibility. When they came back and said
[56:57] Speaker 2: we couldn't do it, they were it read responsible because
[57:02] Speaker 2: they had been given a word from the Lord that
[57:06] Speaker 2: said the land is yours, Go and possess it, but
[57:14] Speaker 2: they were irresponsible. Four they failed to believe the evidence. Listen,
[57:23] Speaker 2: the grapes and the figs and the from grands.
[57:25] Speaker 3: That was the evidence.
[57:28] Speaker 2: That what God said was so He already had the
[57:32] Speaker 2: land fertile, ripe.
[57:35] Speaker 3: For the taken. That was evidence.
[57:41] Speaker 2: They misinterpreted the evidence God had already insure that the
[57:49] Speaker 2: land was ready to receive them, saying, it's like you.
[57:53] Speaker 2: It's like someone invite you to their house and you
[57:56] Speaker 2: get to their house and they say, okay, let's go
[57:58] Speaker 2: and eat, and you go into the dining room.
[58:00] Speaker 3: You see a spread. He said, Oh, yeah, they're ready
[58:03] Speaker 3: for me. They are ready for me. Well, that that's
[58:07] Speaker 3: what God was saying to them. The line is ready
[58:11] Speaker 3: for you. Five.
[58:13] Speaker 2: Failure to understand community security very important. God's presence. All
[58:21] Speaker 2: they needed to possess the lane was God's presence.
[58:25] Speaker 3: That's all. That's all.
[58:29] Speaker 2: God had everything under control, see, but they did not
[58:35] Speaker 2: understand community.
[58:40] Speaker 3: And they thought it was just about the ten of them.
[58:44] Speaker 2: Six failure to understand community safety. The community is safe
[58:53] Speaker 2: in the will of God. I said, the community is
[58:58] Speaker 2: safe in the word will of God. As a whole
[59:03] Speaker 2: teaching all by itself as a whole series of teachings,
[59:08] Speaker 2: how do you stay safe? Stay in the will of God?
[59:16] Speaker 2: If God says don't do this, don't do it, and
[59:19] Speaker 2: you stay safe. If you do it, you become suspect,
[59:26] Speaker 2: and you become vulnerable to the adversary. Seven failure to
[59:36] Speaker 2: understand the power.
[59:40] Speaker 3: Of God.
[59:44] Speaker 2: He has all power, The originator of the community has
[59:47] Speaker 2: all power. All power is given him. Don't worry about
[59:51] Speaker 2: the Malachis and Hitties and fellows from aynoch and all
[59:53] Speaker 2: these big boys. Don't worry about him. Don't worry about him. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
[1:00:02] Speaker 2: It can never ever stand in the face of the Creator.
[1:00:12] Speaker 2: I just dropped some there you get it later. Eight
[1:00:16] Speaker 2: Failure to understand community. Total failure to understand community. Number
[1:00:21] Speaker 2: nine failure to understand the community confusion that they created
[1:00:27] Speaker 2: with wrong speech. Wrong speech creates community confusion. As a
[1:00:31] Speaker 2: whole series of teachings, Okay, go for it, it's yours,
[1:00:35] Speaker 2: go for it. How did not cause community confusion?
[1:00:43] Speaker 3: It's a series h Ten.
[1:00:50] Speaker 2: Failure to understand the enemies of community. What's the enemies
[1:00:53] Speaker 2: of community? I listed some of them here. Fail doubt, disunity, despair,
[1:01:00] Speaker 2: and rebellion against authority as a whole series of teachings
[1:01:05] Speaker 2: m hm. The enemies of community fair, doubt, disunity, despair,
[1:01:21] Speaker 2: and rebellion to authority. And finally number eleven, the lack
[1:01:30] Speaker 2: of fulfillment of a national vision. God never calls us
[1:01:41] Speaker 2: to do anything just for us.
[1:01:48] Speaker 3: Mhm.
[1:01:49] Speaker 2: See that's where we go wrong. We keep we keep
[1:01:51] Speaker 2: thinking it's just about us. See, that's why people don't
[1:02:00] Speaker 2: stay together. That's why leaders don't stay with leaders, because
[1:02:05] Speaker 2: they don't understand it's not just about you. God's after
[1:02:11] Speaker 2: a national vision. People ask me sometimes, oh, you're still
[1:02:23] Speaker 2: with pastor males. They don't understand, see, and I have
[1:02:29] Speaker 2: to help them. I say, it's bigger than me or
[1:02:32] Speaker 2: pastor males what God wants to do, and we can
[1:02:37] Speaker 2: do more together. Lack of fulfillment of a national vision.
[1:02:50] Speaker 2: God wants to do something bigger than you. You need
[1:02:58] Speaker 2: to teach that to your congregation. Make it a serious
[1:03:05] Speaker 2: Why are we together.
[1:03:08] Speaker 3: As a congregation?
[1:03:10] Speaker 2: God wants to do something bigger than all of us,
[1:03:17] Speaker 2: But we all have a part to play in this community.
[1:03:27] Speaker 3: I think I better stop because I mightn't stop.
