[0:37] Speaker 2: How do you respect a man? Now here's a secret,
[0:40] Speaker 2: the word respect. Ladies, write it down, Come on, write
[0:42] Speaker 2: it down. Respect means to speak highly of Wow. Respect
[0:53] Speaker 2: means to hold in high regard. Keep writing. Respect means
[1:00] Speaker 2: to praise. The average man in this room gets zero praise.

[1:16] Speaker 2: It's not funny. It's very dangerous. It's very dangerous. Okay,
[1:23] Speaker 2: let me tell you what hurts a husband in this church.
[1:26] Speaker 2: Here's what hurts the husband in this church. You respect
[1:29] Speaker 2: pastor Larry more than him. You are not married to
[1:46] Speaker 2: your pastor. I know, and I'm not nice. I know.
[2:01] Speaker 1: It's tough to.
[2:02] Speaker 2: Find something in him to praise. I know that, But
[2:07] Speaker 2: the Bible says to do it what God knows how
[2:11] Speaker 2: the car works. A lady came to me years ago.
[2:21] Speaker 2: She's not church now her her husband one of our
[2:23] Speaker 2: but one of our deacons and eldest. But when they
[2:25] Speaker 2: first came, she was becoming to church by herself. For years,
[2:28] Speaker 2: and I kept noticing she keeps coming to church. Husband
[2:30] Speaker 2: wouldn't go to church. I asked him one day, said,
[2:32] Speaker 2: it's your husband. He's home. I said, why didn't I
[2:35] Speaker 2: say if shit? He never? He said, I don't believe
[2:37] Speaker 2: in God. He'd never come to church. He said he
[2:38] Speaker 2: ain't a church. I said why, he said, and churches
[2:43] Speaker 2: for pastors. Nothing hit me hard. So she was in permitting.
[2:53] Speaker 2: I went over to her. I wrote a note to
[2:55] Speaker 2: her husband. We were just about to start permitting. I
[2:59] Speaker 2: wrote a note to husband. I said, sir, I apologize
[3:03] Speaker 2: for keeping your wife away from you. I'm sending your
[3:06] Speaker 2: wife home because you are our priority. I signed it.
[3:11] Speaker 2: I says, go home now, go away from premitting. Your
[3:17] Speaker 2: husband is more important than primitting. Go home. She said, Pastor,
[3:21] Speaker 2: what are you doing? I said, you go home. Give
[3:22] Speaker 2: your husband this right now. She went home, give note
[3:26] Speaker 2: to her husband. Around Thursday, I got a phone call
[3:31] Speaker 2: from him. From her, she says, my husband is talking strange.
[3:37] Speaker 2: I said, what happened? He said? Her husband For the
[3:40] Speaker 2: whole week kept saying, I don't understand that. Man, I
[3:42] Speaker 2: don't want to stand that pastor. No pastor does this.
[3:47] Speaker 2: No pastor sends people home, and said he was being
[3:53] Speaker 2: confused all week. So next Sunday he came to your
[4:00] Speaker 2: sat away in the back. She was up front and
[4:06] Speaker 2: she was glowing, smiling all through the service. I didn't
[4:12] Speaker 2: know he was there. At the end of the service,
[4:15] Speaker 2: I was shaking hands with all these people and she
[4:17] Speaker 2: came up. She said, I said, what's the problem.
[4:25] Speaker 1: She said, he's here.
[4:28] Speaker 2: I said, who is? He said, I said really, I said,
[4:33] Speaker 2: tell him, come I meet him. She says, he ain't
[4:35] Speaker 2: gonna go. I said, you tell him, I wanna meet him. Okay.
[4:40] Speaker 2: She ran back, ran in the lobby where he was,
[4:45] Speaker 2: bought him in and he was dressed, you know, t shirt,
[4:48] Speaker 2: you know, just checking things out. And I walked down
[4:51] Speaker 2: to meet him and met highway. I said, man, it's
[4:54] Speaker 2: good to see you. Welcome and he said yes, yeah,
[4:58] Speaker 2: he said, he said you already.
[5:00] Speaker 1: You know you all right?
[5:01] Speaker 2: Man, that's what you mean. I'm alright, he says, I
[5:04] Speaker 2: like you. He say, man, you're all right. I said,
[5:07] Speaker 2: what do you mean? He says, I've never seen the
[5:10] Speaker 2: pastor sending people home. I said, but that's your wife.
[5:14] Speaker 2: She should be home to cook for you and take
[5:16] Speaker 2: care of you. He said, that's what I mean. You see,
[5:20] Speaker 2: I've been in many churches. My wife be ma me.
[5:22] Speaker 2: Not being a church made a pastor saw me as
[5:25] Speaker 2: being more important than him, changed my life. I said,
[5:38] Speaker 2: of course you are man. She's married to you, right,
[5:41] Speaker 2: she should respect you. He said, you know, I like
[5:46] Speaker 2: this church. Next Sunday he was back sitting highway in
[5:54] Speaker 2: the church, had.
[5:57] Speaker 1: On a shirt this time.
[6:00] Speaker 2: Meeting on the call came up. Give usknife to Jesus.
