## Transcript

[0:00] Speaker 1: All right, Canton is where we're going. Elizabeth is on
[0:02] Speaker 1: the line. She's afraid that her husband, I think his
[0:05] Speaker 1: name is Dan, is cheating on her. So good morning.
[0:08] Speaker 1: Is this Elizabeth? Hi, good morning. Hi. Okay, so your
[0:11] Speaker 1: husband's name is Dan. Do I have that correct? Yes, correct. Well,
[0:16] Speaker 1: welcome to the show. I hope we can get you
[0:18] Speaker 1: some answers. Tell me why you think Dan is cheating.
[0:20] Speaker 1: What's going on?
[0:23] Speaker 2: Um.
[0:24] Speaker 1: I have been noticing that he's kind of constantly texting,
[0:30] Speaker 1: and whenever I ask who he's talking to, he says
[0:33] Speaker 1: it's nothing. He completely brushes it off. That's rude. He
[0:41] Speaker 1: also told me that he was away for a work
[0:43] Speaker 1: conference recently, and I actually checked with his company, and
[0:48] Speaker 1: they didn't have a conference that weekend. Oh.
[0:53] Speaker 2: Yes.
[0:54] Speaker 1: That's weird. Yeah, I know. I saw a hotel charge
[0:59] Speaker 1: on our joint account, like our joint credit card.
[1:02] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[1:03] Speaker 1: And there was a bottle of champagne that weekend that
[1:06] Speaker 1: he was away. Seems very businesslike. No. So what you're
[1:10] Speaker 1: telling me, he told you that he had a work conference.
[1:13] Speaker 1: You checked and there was no work conference. However, he
[1:15] Speaker 1: was gone. He was at a hotel and he ordered
[1:18] Speaker 1: himself champagne. Right. Correct. Okay. That just all seems so
[1:24] Speaker 1: sketchy to me. What Walmart job?
[1:25] Speaker 2: Nothing.
[1:25] Speaker 1: I mean, you have all this time to be a
[1:27] Speaker 1: detective and find out all the scoop. That's her husband.
[1:30] Speaker 1: She knows he's being... Maybe you should use that time
[1:32] Speaker 1: to work on your relationship. Oh, my gosh.
[1:36] Speaker 2: Ouch.
[1:36] Speaker 1: Just ignore him. Please, Elizabeth, ignore him. It sounds a
[1:41] Speaker 1: little sketchy to me. I mean, the fact that you
[1:44] Speaker 1: checked to see if his company had any type of
[1:46] Speaker 1: conference and they didn't that weekend is weird. That's what
[1:48] Speaker 1: I mean. That's a lot. Yeah. That is a lot.
[1:50] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[1:51] Speaker 1: All right. Well then we're just, we're going to call
[1:52] Speaker 1: him up. We're going to offer him roses, get some info.
[1:54] Speaker 1: You're going to be listening in. If you want to
[1:56] Speaker 1: confront your husband, go for it. If you're not comfortable,
[1:59] Speaker 1: don't worry about it. We'll just try to get the
[2:01] Speaker 1: information and then hang up. Okay. Jeff, you need to
[2:08] Speaker 1: go on a work conference. I would love to.
[2:12] Speaker 2: I don't want to be responsible for what happens. Hello?
[2:17] Speaker 1: Hi, this is Dan. Yeah.
[2:20] Speaker 2: Hey, Dan, this is Kelsey over at Flowers Express.
[2:23] Speaker 1: How are you doing this morning? I'm all right. What's
[2:28] Speaker 1: Flowers Express? Flowers Express is exactly that. It's a flower shop.
[2:31] Speaker 2: I'm just giving you a quick courtesy call this morning
[2:33] Speaker 2: to let you know that you have won our online
[2:35] Speaker 2: weekly contest and that you are the lucky recipient of
[2:38] Speaker 2: a dozen roses. Congratulations. Wait.
[2:42] Speaker 1: I didn't enter any. I understand.
[2:43] Speaker 2: I didn't enter anything or anything.
[2:45] Speaker 1: Yeah, you probably didn't.
[2:46] Speaker 2: So we're new in town and we buy these third
[2:48] Speaker 2: party marketing lists. So this way we can get our
[2:50] Speaker 2: name out there. And so we put you in this pool. Basically,
[2:53] Speaker 2: your name came out this week as the winner. So
[2:54] Speaker 2: we're going to send you a dozen roses as a
[2:57] Speaker 2: way to kind of get our name out there. And
[2:58] Speaker 2: then also, you know, it makes somebody's day when you
[3:00] Speaker 2: send a flower. So it's a win win kind of situation.
[3:03] Speaker 2: I don't have to do anything or sign up anything
[3:06] Speaker 2: or anything. I will.
[3:07] Speaker 1: OK, the one catch. You got me.
[3:10] Speaker 2: I can't send them directly to you. I will send
[3:11] Speaker 2: them to somebody on your behalf, though. So as long
[3:13] Speaker 2: as you're cool with.
[3:14] Speaker 1: That, we're good to roll. All right. I mean, if
[3:18] Speaker 1: I don't have to do anything. All right. I mean,
[3:20] Speaker 1: if it's free, okay. Totally free. Totally free.
[3:23] Speaker 2: All right. Well, since you're good to accept, I have
[3:25] Speaker 2: the card here. If we could just start with a message,
[3:27] Speaker 2: we can get this process rolling. Oh, I know. Just
[3:36] Speaker 2: can't wait to see you Friday, Friday night.
[3:39] Speaker 1: Can't wait to see you Friday night.
[3:40] Speaker 2: Can't wait to see you Friday night.
[3:43] Speaker 1: Okay, cool.
[3:44] Speaker 2: Anything else you want to put in the card?
[3:48] Speaker 1: That's good. Okay, perfect, perfect.
[3:50] Speaker 2: And I just need a name to address the card to.
[3:52] Speaker 1: Sorry, I forgot about that.
[3:55] Speaker 2: Her name's Jessica.
[3:57] Speaker 1: Jessica. Okay, cool. So we're sending these flowers to Jessica.
[4:01] Speaker 1: Who's Jessica? Who is Jessica? Jessica. Who's Jessica, Dan? Dan,
[4:09] Speaker 1: this is Courtney. The florist is Savannah. Walmart Jeff is
[4:12] Speaker 1: on the line. You're on the radio on Kiss 95.7.
[4:14] Speaker 1: That's your wife, Elizabeth. Go ahead, Elizabeth. Go ahead. So
[4:18] Speaker 1: I was right. I was right. You were right about what?
[4:21] Speaker 1: You are seeing somebody.
[4:22] Speaker 2: What?
[4:23] Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
[4:23] Speaker 2: No, I'm not seeing anybody. Jessica is my co-worker. Oh, no.
[4:26] Speaker 1: You're just sending flowers to Jessica? Who the hell is Jessica?
[4:31] Speaker 1: You have, Jessica's my coworker. You met Jessica. Oh, your
[4:35] Speaker 1: coworker that you went away with, that you went away
[4:38] Speaker 1: with on a company trip that didn't happen? Jessica is
[4:43] Speaker 1: my coworker. I don't know what you're tripping out about.
[4:46] Speaker 1: Can I just, I got to jump in. I need
[4:49] Speaker 1: to ask the florist. What did he write in the card?
[4:52] Speaker 2: Something about can't wait for Friday night. What's going down
[4:54] Speaker 2: Friday night?
[4:54] Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, what's happening Friday night, Dan?
[4:58] Speaker 2: I am meeting Jessica.
[4:59] Speaker 1: Jessica is going through an incredibly hard time, and I'm
[5:02] Speaker 1: just helping her out, and we're talking about... How about
[5:04] Speaker 1: your wife? How about your wife? How about your wife?
[5:08] Speaker 1: What about my wife? It has nothing to do with
[5:11] Speaker 1: my marriage. Exactly. Exactly. I want to know where he
[5:16] Speaker 1: was for two days, Elizabeth. Jessica is going through a
[5:21] Speaker 1: very hard time, and her and I, she asked for
[5:24] Speaker 1: my help, She asked for your help at a hotel?
[5:28] Speaker 1: At a hotel room? She asked for your help?
[5:33] Speaker 2: I came. We were just talking. I was helping her out.
[5:35] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[5:36] Speaker 1: You were just talking for two days? You were just
[5:39] Speaker 1: talking over champagne for two days? You're a liar. You're
[5:43] Speaker 1: a liar. Are you sleeping with your coworker? No. You've
[5:51] Speaker 1: been caught. You might as well just admit it. You've
[5:53] Speaker 1: been caught. There's nothing to admit.
[5:55] Speaker 2: It's just talking, conversation.
[5:58] Speaker 1: No, I'm not sleeping. Oh, yeah. And you just happen
[6:02] Speaker 1: to have a bottle of champagne that you put on
[6:04] Speaker 1: our joint credit card, you idiot. I didn't drink any champagne.
[6:09] Speaker 1: I got her a present because she was struggling. What
[6:11] Speaker 1: is the problem? Oh, my God.
[6:14] Speaker 2: Okay.
[6:14] Speaker 1: What is the problem?
[6:15] Speaker 2: Yes, nothing says support like champagne in a hotel room.
[6:18] Speaker 1: We're not going to get to the bottom of it.
[6:20] Speaker 1: Whatever happened, Elizabeth, it was inappropriate and disrespectful, whether he
[6:26] Speaker 1: cheated or just spent two nights with another woman talking.
[6:29] Speaker 1: It's all wrong on all counts, okay?
[6:31] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[6:33] Speaker 1: I want to put you on hold. I'm going to
[6:35] Speaker 1: offer couples counseling. And if you want to work through it,
[6:38] Speaker 1: you guys can do couples counseling together, marriage counseling, and
[6:41] Speaker 1: we're going to pick up the tab. Okay. And then
[6:43] Speaker 1: you can get to the bottom of it with your husband.
[6:46] Speaker 1: Maybe you guys buy me a bottle of champagne instead
[6:48] Speaker 1: of counseling because I'm getting rid of this loser. Okay.
[6:51] Speaker 1: I'm sending you champagne and flowers. Thank you.
