## Transcript

[0:00] Speaker 1: Meriden is where we're going. War of the Roses.
[0:02] Speaker 2: Sydney's on the line. Thinks her husband, Justin, is cheating.
[0:05] Speaker 2: I hope we can get some answers. Good morning, Sydney.
[0:08] Speaker 3: Good morning.
[0:09] Speaker 1: So tell me why you think your husband's cheating.
[0:12] Speaker 3: Well, we've been married for a while, and it's been
[0:16] Speaker 3: a little rocky for a while. But then I got
[0:23] Speaker 3: an update the other day, and Credit Karma was like, oh.
[0:31] Speaker 3: I have an alert for my credit and for his credit.
[0:36] Speaker 3: And it said, oh, yeah, he ran his credit recently
[0:41] Speaker 3: and a hard inquiry was put in for an apartment. So,
[0:45] Speaker 3: you know, I'm pissed because either he wants to move
[0:50] Speaker 3: out and take a break.
[0:52] Speaker 1: For our credit.
[0:54] Speaker 4: Identities have been stolen.
[0:55] Speaker 1: All right, Sydney, this is a lot of information.
[0:58] Speaker 2: So you got an alert, like a credit karma alert,
[1:01] Speaker 2: because somebody put in an inquiry checking credit, like running
[1:05] Speaker 2: credit because he wanted to rent an apartment or somebody's.
[1:09] Speaker 1: Renting an apartment?
[1:11] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[1:12] Speaker 1: Well, could somebody have stolen her identity?
[1:15] Speaker 3: Possibly. Yeah.
[1:16] Speaker 2: Has your husband ever mentioned, like, taking a break and
[1:20] Speaker 2: I think I should move out?
[1:22] Speaker 1: Has that ever been mentioned?
[1:24] Speaker 4: No.
[1:24] Speaker 1: Okay.
[1:25] Speaker 4: No.
[1:25] Speaker 1: That's good. Then this is weird. This is weird. Either
[1:30] Speaker 1: somebody stole your.
[1:31] Speaker 2: Identity or your husband is checking out apartments, and I
[1:34] Speaker 2: think we need to get to the bottom of it.
[1:35] Speaker 1: Let's do it. Yeah, for sure. Are you ready?
[1:38] Speaker 3: I need your help.
[1:39] Speaker 4: Okay. Yeah.
[1:40] Speaker 2: So I just want you to take a deep breath,
[1:42] Speaker 2: and we're going to put you on hold. We are
[1:43] Speaker 2: going to call your husband, Justin. You know how it goes.
[1:46] Speaker 2: You'll be listening in. If you want to jump in,
[1:48] Speaker 2: you can jump in, okay?
[1:49] Speaker 3: Okay.
[1:57] Speaker 5: Hello?
[2:04] Speaker 1: Hi, is this Justin?
[2:07] Speaker 4: Yes, it is.
[2:07] Speaker 5: Hey, Justin, this is Emily over at Flowers Express in
[2:10] Speaker 5: East Hartford. How's it going this morning?
[2:14] Speaker 4: All right. Good, good.
[2:15] Speaker 1: I'm glad to hear it. Just giving you a quick
[2:17] Speaker 1: courtesy call.
[2:18] Speaker 5: Congratulations. You are the winner of our online weekly contest.
[2:21] Speaker 5: You've just won a dozen roses, completely complimentary. Thanks to
[2:25] Speaker 5: us here at Flowers Express.
[2:26] Speaker 1: Congrats.
[2:30] Speaker 4: Okay.
[2:32] Speaker 5: Yeah, so basically how this works is it is a
[2:34] Speaker 5: marketing promotion, so I'll just be up front with you.
[2:37] Speaker 5: We can't send the flowers to you, however. We will
[2:40] Speaker 5: send them to somebody on your behalf. So if you
[2:42] Speaker 5: want to, you know, fill out a little card, you'll
[2:44] Speaker 5: give us a name. We'll send them to somebody else.
[2:46] Speaker 5: This way they get the flowers. We look great, and
[2:48] Speaker 5: then you look great, and someone else finds out about us.
[2:51] Speaker 1: Here at Flowers Express.
[2:56] Speaker 5: All right.
[2:57] Speaker 1: All right, cool.
[2:58] Speaker 5: So if you're ready to get going, like I said,
[3:00] Speaker 5: it does come with a card, so we can start
[3:02] Speaker 5: with a message if that's cool.
[3:05] Speaker 4: Okay. Just write, you say, just a little longer, and
[3:14] Speaker 4: we'll be together on the card.
[3:17] Speaker 5: Just a little longer and we'll be together.
[3:19] Speaker 1: It's like that Jonas Brothers song.
[3:20] Speaker 3: Little bit longer.
[3:21] Speaker 1: Okay, sorry. Anyways, I digress. And is there a name
[3:25] Speaker 1: that I can put on this card?
[3:28] Speaker 4: Yeah, Jen. It's Jen with two Ns.
[3:31] Speaker 1: Jen with two Ns.
[3:34] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[3:35] Speaker 1: And we're telling Jen just a little bit longer.
[3:36] Speaker 3: What?
[3:38] Speaker 4: Just a little longer and we'll be. What?
[3:42] Speaker 2: Oh, my God. All right, I'm jumping in real quick. Justin,
[3:46] Speaker 2: this is Courtney. The florist is Savannah Walmer. Jeff is
[3:49] Speaker 2: on the line. You're on Kiss 95.7. You're on War
[3:52] Speaker 2: of the Roses. Sydney, your wife is on the line.
[3:55] Speaker 1: Go ahead, Sydney. Who's Jen?
[3:58] Speaker 3: I feel like I'm in shock. I feel like I
[4:03] Speaker 3: am in shock. Like, I knew that somebody ran their
[4:10] Speaker 3: credit to me. Get an apartment, and now you're saying
[4:14] Speaker 3: you're into some girl named Jen?
[4:17] Speaker 1: Who's Jen? Who's Jen?
[4:19] Speaker 3: Thank you.
[4:21] Speaker 4: All right, fine. You want to do this? You want
[4:24] Speaker 4: to do this on the radio? Where are you looking?
[4:29] Speaker 3: What is going on?
[4:31] Speaker 4: Just calm down. No, our relationship has been on the
[4:38] Speaker 4: rocks forever. You know it's not working. We are not happy.
[4:42] Speaker 4: We are not the same as we were when we
[4:44] Speaker 4: got together. You want to do this like this? This
[4:47] Speaker 4: is crazy, first of all. I don't even want to
[4:50] Speaker 4: do this at all. I just thought that... You're.
[4:53] Speaker 1: Going to make me cry.
[4:54] Speaker 4: Let me just make it easy for you. It's over.
[4:57] Speaker 4: It's over. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry that you decided
[5:01] Speaker 4: to go above and beyond and do it on the
[5:03] Speaker 4: radio of all freaking ways. Jan and I have been
[5:07] Speaker 4: in love with her the whole time. I tried to
[5:08] Speaker 4: make it work with you. And I'm moving out. So
[5:11] Speaker 4: rip the Band-Aid off if you've got to be so
[5:14] Speaker 4: dramatic about everything, just like you always have to be.
[5:17] Speaker 1: I'm moving out.
[5:18] Speaker 4: I am not dramatic, okay?
[5:20] Speaker 3: I am not dramatic at all.
[5:23] Speaker 4: You called the radio station.
[5:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, because you don't communicate, okay? I'm not dramatic here.
[5:30] Speaker 3: You're the one that's moving on out, like gone with
[5:33] Speaker 3: the wind.
[5:34] Speaker 4: Here we are. Let me broadcast it for you. We're
[5:37] Speaker 4: getting a divorce. I'm moving in with Jen because I've
[5:40] Speaker 4: been in love with her since high school. That's what's up.
[5:43] Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
[5:43] Speaker 3: Okay, so you've been cheating on me. You were planning
[5:46] Speaker 3: on just leaving me. You are— you know what? Call that lawyer.
[5:51] Speaker 4: Call that lawyer.
[5:52] Speaker 3: That's fine.
[5:53] Speaker 4: I cannot believe this. Not dramatic.
[5:56] Speaker 5: Stop calling her.
[5:56] Speaker 1: I'm going to go call my mom.
[5:57] Speaker 3: I can't believe this.
[5:58] Speaker 1: Okay.
[5:58] Speaker 4: I'm going to go.
[5:59] Speaker 1: I'm— This is— All right, Justin, stop calling her dramatic.
[6:03] Speaker 1: You're doing it. Listen, you weren't.
[6:05] Speaker 2: Communicating with her. She had no other choice. She knew
[6:08] Speaker 2: something was going on. She's not being dramatic. You need
[6:11] Speaker 2: to stop.
[6:13] Speaker 1: You guys called me.
[6:14] Speaker 4: Are we serious right now?
[6:16] Speaker 1: He has a point, Courtney. So what? We called him.
[6:18] Speaker 1: We can't be judging him.
[6:19] Speaker 2: He doesn't mean because we called him he can treat
[6:21] Speaker 2: his wife like that. Regardless of if you're in love
[6:23] Speaker 2: with this chick, Jen, you still treat your wife with respect.
[6:26] Speaker 1: So I can't. I got to draw the line there.
[6:28] Speaker 2: I'm going to put you both on hold because we
[6:31] Speaker 2: offer couples counseling if you want to work through it,
[6:33] Speaker 2: but I need.
[6:33] Speaker 1: You to hold on. Sydney, are you okay?
[6:38] Speaker 4: My God.
[6:39] Speaker 1: Is Sydney even there? Did she hang up? I have
[6:41] Speaker 1: no idea. I don't know. My heart is broken. I
[6:43] Speaker 1: gotta get going. Put him on hold.
[6:44] Speaker 2: On hold.
