[0:00] Speaker 1: Macy is on the phone today for to catch a cheater.
[0:02] Speaker 2: And she thinks that her boyfriend of three years named
[0:05] Speaker 2: Zach might be messing around. So we'll see if we
[0:06] Speaker 2: can help her out. Sorry that you're going through it, Macy,
[0:08] Speaker 2: but what's going on? Why do you think Zach's cheating?
[0:10] Speaker 3: Me and my boyfriend, Zach, we've been together for three years.
[0:14] Speaker 3: This is my first real serious relationship and him too.
[0:19] Speaker 3: It's really, we're having an adult relationship.
[0:21] Speaker 4: And when something's wrong, we talk about it.
[0:23] Speaker 5: And like, it's so good.
[0:26] Speaker 4: He's just been doing some stuff lately.
[0:28] Speaker 5: That's really weird.
[0:30] Speaker 1: OK, like what?
[0:31] Speaker 4: Even saying it is.
[0:32] Speaker 5: So embarrassing and it's probably nothing.
[0:34] Speaker 1: But like, don't be embarrassed.
[0:36] Speaker 5: So lately he's been a little distant and like just
[0:40] Speaker 5: more than normal. And he'll disappear for like hours.
[0:44] Speaker 3: And normally when we see each other, you know, he'll
[0:49] Speaker 3: tell me what he does.
[0:50] Speaker 5: But lately it hasn't been.
[0:52] Speaker 4: I've just been like, oh, how was your day?
[0:53] Speaker 3: And he's like really good and doesn't say anything else.
[0:56] Speaker 3: I'm like, that's weird.
[0:57] Speaker 5: And then the other day I went over to his
[1:01] Speaker 5: house and as I was.
[1:03] Speaker 3: Walking in the door, because we have each other's keys,
[1:06] Speaker 3: as I was walking in the door, I heard a woman.
[1:08] Speaker 2: Oh, like in the house?
[1:12] Speaker 5: That's what I thought.
[1:13] Speaker 4: But then I came into the kitchen and it was
[1:15] Speaker 4: on his phone.
[1:16] Speaker 3: And as soon as he saw me, like, come around
[1:18] Speaker 3: the corner, he turned off his phone really fast.
[1:21] Speaker 1: Oh, so he was talking to a woman. That's sketchy.
[1:24] Speaker 5: Was it a video or.
[1:25] Speaker 1: Was it a conversation?
[1:27] Speaker 5: I don't know.
[1:27] Speaker 6: Okay.
[1:29] Speaker 5: And it keeps on happening.
[1:30] Speaker 3: Like when he's in the bathroom, I think I hear
[1:33] Speaker 3: him talking. Like I, again, I hear a woman's voice.
[1:37] Speaker 3: But I can't like it's really low. Like he's trying
[1:39] Speaker 3: to make sure that I can't hear him.
[1:41] Speaker 1: And is it the same voice? I can tell he
[1:44] Speaker 1: just on speakerphone every time.
[1:46] Speaker 5: Why is he talking to a woman? Why would it
[1:49] Speaker 5: be on speakerphone? Like, does he want to get caught?
[1:51] Speaker 4: That's why I'm like, no, he's he's not that stupid.
[1:55] Speaker 7: Did you ask him like once you saw him the
[1:57] Speaker 7: first time they put his phone away really quick?
[1:59] Speaker 1: Really? Oh, it was that.
[2:00] Speaker 4: Yeah, the first time I was like, oh, hey, what
[2:03] Speaker 4: was that?
[2:04] Speaker 5: And he's like, oh, nothing. I'm just like watching a video.
[2:08] Speaker 2: Was his body language and everything all awkward? Like you've
[2:11] Speaker 2: been caught doing something?
[2:13] Speaker 5: Yes, 100%.
[2:13] Speaker 3: And then, so our intimacy has always, you.
[2:22] Speaker 5: Know, we've always been really good at it. We've, you know, definitely.
[2:26] Speaker 3: had a healthy life with in between the sheets as.
[2:31] Speaker 4: They say but lately he's not into.
[2:35] Speaker 3: It and I'll be like hey you know like I'll
[2:37] Speaker 3: try to initiate.
[2:38] Speaker 4: It and he's like I'm not tonight I've just.
[2:40] Speaker 5: Got like a lot of stuff on my mind okay And.
[2:44] Speaker 4: Like, yeah, that's not good.
[2:46] Speaker 7: All three of those things are definitely uncomfortable.
[2:49] Speaker 3: Definitely.
[2:49] Speaker 2: Macy is on the phone today for To Catch a Cheater,
[2:51] Speaker 2: and she thinks that her boyfriend, Zach, of three years
[2:54] Speaker 2: might be messing around. So we're about to call him
[2:56] Speaker 2: and pretend to be from the grocery store that he's
[2:58] Speaker 2: a rewards card member at and say that every single
[3:00] Speaker 2: month we choose one rewards card member who gets free
[3:02] Speaker 2: flowers delivered from our floral department. And we'll see if
[3:05] Speaker 2: he sends those to Macy, his girlfriend, or to somebody else.
[3:08] Speaker 2: But before we do that, Macy, you want to catch
[3:10] Speaker 2: us up on your situation?
[3:11] Speaker 7: Yeah.
[3:12] Speaker 4: So I've been.
[3:13] Speaker 3: With Zach for three years and everything was going really well.
[3:16] Speaker 3: And then lately he's been disappearing for hours and like
[3:21] Speaker 3: he doesn't want to be intimate with me.
[3:23] Speaker 4: And I keep on hearing him like talk to some girl.
[3:26] Speaker 5: I think it's a girl.
[3:27] Speaker 4: OK.
[3:29] Speaker 1: Are you ready for us to call him?
[3:32] Speaker 5: Yes.
[3:32] Speaker 6: OK. Yeah.
[3:33] Speaker 1: Here we go.
[3:33] Speaker 4: Hello.
[3:38] Speaker 1: Hi, this is Corbel calling from.
[3:40] Speaker 2: I was looking for our rewards card member named Zach.
[3:44] Speaker 5: This is Zach.
[3:45] Speaker 1: Zach, how are you? Please don't hang up.
[3:46] Speaker 2: This is not a marketing phone call. I'm actually calling
[3:48] Speaker 2: to say congratulations. You're this month's big winner.
[3:53] Speaker 5: Okay. You guys are great.
[3:55] Speaker 6: I'm in there all the time. Yeah, but I never
[3:58] Speaker 6: really planned on winning anything or anything like that. So, yeah,
[4:01] Speaker 6: that's cool.
[4:02] Speaker 2: Maybe you don't know, but every single month we choose
[4:04] Speaker 2: one rewards card member at random who gets free flowers
[4:06] Speaker 2: delivered from our floral department to anybody that they want.
[4:08] Speaker 2: Within the 50 United States, you've actually won 36 long-stem
[4:12] Speaker 2: red roses, a box of candy or chocolates, and a
[4:14] Speaker 2: card to be delivered to anybody that you want absolutely free.
[4:16] Speaker 1: It's a $ 316 value.
[4:18] Speaker 6: Oh, wow. That's crazy.
[4:20] Speaker 1: Congratulations.
[4:22] Speaker 2: Thanks. First thing I would need would be the name
[4:26] Speaker 2: of the person that you'd like to send them to.
[4:29] Speaker 6: Sure. It's Lillian.
[4:32] Speaker 1: Okay. And how about a card? I'll get the address
[4:35] Speaker 1: for me in a second. How about a card? Would
[4:36] Speaker 1: you like to put anything on the card?
[4:39] Speaker 6: Just something. How about thanks so much. Two more months.
[4:44] Speaker 6: I'm excited. Only two more months and I won't have
[4:47] Speaker 6: to keep this a secret anymore.
[4:48] Speaker 1: Only two more months and I won't have to keep
[4:50] Speaker 1: this a secret anymore.
[4:52] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[4:53] Speaker 7: Got it.
[4:53] Speaker 6: Something like that.
[4:54] Speaker 1: Okay.
[4:55] Speaker 8: And yeah, just put like, you're the best from Zach.
[4:59] Speaker 1: Got it.
[5:00] Speaker 2: I can definitely not do that for you because this
[5:03] Speaker 2: is not the grocery store at all. My name is
[5:04] Speaker 2: actually Jubal, and I'm calling from a radio show called
[5:06] Speaker 2: The Jubal Show.
[5:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, the whole show's here. I'm Nina. Hi, and I'm Victoria.
[5:09] Speaker 2: And this is a segment we do called To Catch
[5:11] Speaker 2: a Cheater, where if somebody suspects their significant other of cheating,
[5:15] Speaker 2: they see who they send flowers to.
[5:17] Speaker 1: And your girlfriend, Macy, is actually on the phone.
[5:21] Speaker 7: Okay.
[5:24] Speaker 5: Jack? Yeah? Jack, why would you do this? What the heck?
[5:31] Speaker 6: Like, I'm so confused. Like, why are you thinking I'm
[5:34] Speaker 6: cheating right now? Like.
[5:36] Speaker 5: You're confused. You're cheating on me with someone named Lillian. No,
[5:40] Speaker 5: I'm not.
[5:41] Speaker 3: Why are you sending her flowers?
[5:44] Speaker 4: Okay, hold on. Let me explain.
[5:46] Speaker 5: No, no, don't. I gave you three years of my life.
[5:51] Speaker 5: You're the most serious I've ever been with anyone. I
[5:55] Speaker 5: gave you my fucking life.
[5:57] Speaker 4: Calm down.
[5:57] Speaker 6: I can explain.
[5:58] Speaker 5: Please.
[5:59] Speaker 6: No.
[5:59] Speaker 1: Please.
[6:00] Speaker 5: How can you do this to me? Just two more months?
[6:05] Speaker 5: Just two more months?
[6:07] Speaker 4: What, you're going to break up with me.
[6:09] Speaker 6: In two months? You know what's in two months?
[6:13] Speaker 5: Hold on.
[6:13] Speaker 6: Macy, do you know what's in two months? Yes. It's
[6:16] Speaker 6: our anniversary in two months, right? I know.
[6:19] Speaker 8: You're going to.
[6:20] Speaker 3: Break up with me on our anniversary?
[6:23] Speaker 6: No.
[6:24] Speaker 5: So listen here.
[6:26] Speaker 6: I'm sending the flowers.
[6:28] Speaker 8: To a virtual chef that I've been buying classes for
[6:31] Speaker 8: to learn how to make your favorite dish, rigatoni, for
[6:35] Speaker 8: our anniversary.
[6:36] Speaker 7: Aww.
[6:40] Speaker 5: I love you.
[6:41] Speaker 6: Like, this is crazy.
[6:44] Speaker 5: What?
[6:46] Speaker 4: I kind of get where.
[6:46] Speaker 6: This is coming from, so.
[6:51] Speaker 8: Like, I remember the other day I was on my
[6:53] Speaker 8: phone and you walked in and I kind of like
[6:55] Speaker 8: quickly turn it off and seem super guilty.
[6:57] Speaker 4: So I can only.
[7:00] Speaker 8: OK, so, yeah, I was actually talking to my teacher and,
[7:06] Speaker 8: you know, and then it was awkward because I was,
[7:08] Speaker 8: you know, you came in and, you know, I didn't
[7:10] Speaker 8: want you to find out that, you know, you know,
[7:12] Speaker 8: I didn't want to blow the surprise. I even told her, like,
[7:15] Speaker 8: if you ever come in, like, don't be surprised if
[7:17] Speaker 8: I just, you know, hurry up and hang up the phone.
[7:19] Speaker 6: So, like, I don't know.
[7:20] Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
[7:21] Speaker 6: Like, my mind has kind of been crazy. You know,
[7:23] Speaker 6: I've just been wanting this to be perfect for you. So, like,
[7:26] Speaker 6: I apologize, I guess.
[7:28] Speaker 1: I guess.
[7:28] Speaker 5: See you.
[7:29] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[7:33] Speaker 7: OK, I'm just trying to help you to make sure
[7:36] Speaker 7: that you do that part, you.
[7:37] Speaker 1: Know, for real.
[7:38] Speaker 8: No, I mean, I'm the one, you know, being accused
[7:41] Speaker 8: of cheating here, you know, by you guys.
[7:43] Speaker 5: And, you know, suspected cheating.
[7:45] Speaker 8: That's what I was going wrong instead of like, you know,
[7:47] Speaker 8: trying to frame me or something like that.
[7:48] Speaker 6: So whatever you got, I'm trying to talk to my girlfriend,
[7:51] Speaker 6: but whatever. That's cool.
[7:52] Speaker 4: Well, you weren't framed.
[7:53] Speaker 7: And also she asked you what was going on and
[7:54] Speaker 7: you just kind of blew her off. So, I mean,
[7:55] Speaker 7: you got to just understand why somebody would jump to conclusions.
[7:58] Speaker 7: That's where the apology comes in. They were being, you know, shifty.
[8:01] Speaker 3: So so you've been on the phone with this woman
[8:04] Speaker 3: and you've been gone like cooking with her and.
[8:09] Speaker 5: You haven't been sleeping with me.
[8:13] Speaker 8: OK, I'm sorry that you're feeling this way, but I'm
[8:17] Speaker 8: not cooking with her.
[8:19] Speaker 6: I'm cooking in at home trying to learn. Like, I'm sorry.
[8:24] Speaker 8: And like, yeah, I've just kind of been stressed.
[8:27] Speaker 6: And yeah, you know. You're right.
[8:29] Speaker 8: Like we haven't been as intimate lately, I guess. But,
[8:32] Speaker 8: you know, I've had nothing but I guess put rigatoni
[8:34] Speaker 8: on the brain or something like that.
[8:36] Speaker 7: I guess you will, too. Saving his rigatoni to give
[8:38] Speaker 7: her all the rigatoni.
[8:41] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[8:41] Speaker 5: And I'm so sorry.
[8:42] Speaker 8: Like, I'm you know, I feel horrible that, you know,
[8:45] Speaker 8: you think I would cheat on you. You know, I
[8:47] Speaker 8: never would do that. And, you know, I've just been
[8:49] Speaker 8: trying really hard, you know, you know, to make this
[8:52] Speaker 8: rigatoni for you.
[8:52] Speaker 6: It's your favorite food. And, you know, you deserve to
[8:54] Speaker 6: have your favorite food on our anniversary. Like, that's it.
[8:57] Speaker 5: He is really bad at cooking.
[8:59] Speaker 6: Yeah, I've been.
[9:00] Speaker 8: Working with her for a couple of weeks now. And like,
[9:03] Speaker 8: you know, I, you know, I thought rigatoni would be
[9:05] Speaker 8: pretty easy.
[9:06] Speaker 6: I'm like, oh, great. Her favorite food, you know, it's
[9:07] Speaker 6: like noodles, whatever. But no, there's more to it, I guess.
[9:10] Speaker 8: And, you know, I have ruined about five batches of
[9:13] Speaker 8: rigatoni in the last couple of weeks.
[9:15] Speaker 6: So, yeah, there's that.
[9:17] Speaker 5: It should be illegal ruining rigatoni, though.
[9:20] Speaker 1: All the signs were there. So this is a happy ending, really.
[9:24] Speaker 4: No, this is a happy ascending.
[9:25] Speaker 1: It's not happy yet. Wait till you try the rigatoni.
