[0:00] Speaker 1: Ivy is on the phone today for to catch a
[0:01] Speaker 1: teater and she's been dating her boyfriend Travis for two
[0:04] Speaker 1: years now, but she thinks something might be going on,
[0:07] Speaker 1: so let me see if we can help her out. Ivy,
[0:09] Speaker 1: I'm sorry to hear that, but what's going on? Why
[0:11] Speaker 1: do you think Travis is cheating?
[0:13] Speaker 2: Thank you? Yeah. So I've just been like, so, I
[0:19] Speaker 2: live with Travis and we don't share everything, but we
[0:25] Speaker 2: do share some like bills and things. And one of
[0:28] Speaker 2: the things that he gave me was the pin for
[0:31] Speaker 2: his credit card account for emergencies and that kind of thing.
[0:35] Speaker 2: So I ordered some stuff to the house and it
[0:39] Speaker 2: hadn't turned up yet. So he was like, you know,
[0:42] Speaker 2: check my account to see if it's been charged. And
[0:45] Speaker 2: when I did, there were like other charges that I
[0:49] Speaker 2: didn't recognize or understand that we're on there.
[0:52] Speaker 3: Okay.
[0:53] Speaker 2: So he's got like these department stores and like stores
[0:56] Speaker 2: that he and I never go to. They were like
[1:00] Speaker 2: cash withdrawals and like your cash advances and just all
[1:05] Speaker 2: of these different places that we never shot that and
[1:07] Speaker 2: I've never seen this stuff. So he's buying all this
[1:10] Speaker 2: stuff and it's not in our house. I don't know like,
[1:13] Speaker 2: I just feel like if he was loaning people money,
[1:15] Speaker 2: he would say something to me about it.
[1:18] Speaker 3: Right, Is that what he said that he was doing.
[1:21] Speaker 3: When did you ask him about this?
[1:23] Speaker 2: So I haven't asked him about it, right, So I
[1:26] Speaker 2: just because part of it is like I was sort
[1:29] Speaker 2: of snooping in it, you know, you know, like because
[1:33] Speaker 2: he just he gave me that for emergencies, and so
[1:36] Speaker 2: I happened to look across it while I was checking
[1:39] Speaker 2: the one purchase, and so I didn't want to like
[1:41] Speaker 2: bring that off. But I kind of think that it
[1:45] Speaker 2: is a cheating thing because he's also about this girl
[1:49] Speaker 2: at the office that is bothering me.
[1:51] Speaker 3: Oh okay, why is she bothering you?
[1:54] Speaker 2: First of all, like any time that I go to
[1:56] Speaker 2: any company function or if I stop by and seeing
[1:58] Speaker 2: him at work or whatever, like she always is looking
[2:02] Speaker 2: at him some kind of way, Like she's always like
[2:05] Speaker 2: laughing at his jokes. She's always like, you know, just
[2:08] Speaker 2: right in his presence, and I just feel like she's
[2:13] Speaker 2: using any excuse she can to get around him. And
[2:15] Speaker 2: then there was a time that I went to see
[2:18] Speaker 2: him at his office and his door was closed and
[2:21] Speaker 2: when I went in, it was just him and her
[2:23] Speaker 2: alone in there. Oh yeah, and she just takes off
[2:27] Speaker 2: and she doesn't say a word to me. She just
[2:30] Speaker 2: leaves like she said, excuse me to come out the door.
[2:32] Speaker 2: And that's it.
[2:33] Speaker 3: That's shitty, I mean it is. I mean, clearly she's
[2:35] Speaker 3: got a thing for your man, But how does he
[2:37] Speaker 3: react when she's around closed doors? We don't love that,
[2:40] Speaker 3: but how does he act around her?
[2:42] Speaker 2: He hasn't said much about it, and I haven't like
[2:45] Speaker 2: done a lot in terms of accusing it, because I'm
[2:48] Speaker 2: kind of just starting to suspect a number of these things.
[2:51] Speaker 1: If you're just joining us for today's to catch a teeter,
[2:53] Speaker 1: Ivy is on the phone and she thinks that her boyfriend,
[2:56] Speaker 1: Travis of two years might be messing around. So we're
[2:59] Speaker 1: about to call him and pretend to be from the
[3:00] Speaker 1: grocery store that he's a rewards card member at and
[3:02] Speaker 1: say that every single month, we choose one lucky Rewards
[3:04] Speaker 1: member who gets free flowers delivered from our Florida department,
[3:07] Speaker 1: and will CEV sends those to Ivy or to somebody
[3:09] Speaker 1: else Before we do that, Ivy, why don't you catch
[3:11] Speaker 1: us up on your situation?
[3:13] Speaker 2: Basically, Travis gave me the pin for his credit card account,
[3:17] Speaker 2: and when I went to check a purchase, I saw
[3:20] Speaker 2: that he had purchased a whole bunch of things that
[3:22] Speaker 2: aren't in our house and that I've never seen in
[3:25] Speaker 2: our stores. We never go to and cash advances, and
[3:28] Speaker 2: just like a lot of money with coming out of discount,
[3:31] Speaker 2: and I don't know where it's going or who it's
[3:33] Speaker 2: going to. And I'm suspecting this girl that's at his
[3:38] Speaker 2: office who is like clearly into him.
[3:41] Speaker 1: What's the girl at his office's name? Patricia?
[3:44] Speaker 3: Okay, so I hope it's not.
[3:46] Speaker 1: It's not that, but let's see here.
[3:48] Speaker 3: Are you ready?
[3:49] Speaker 2: I'm ready?
[3:50] Speaker 3: Okay, here we go.
[3:54] Speaker 1: Hello, Hi, this is horrible calling for so I was
[3:57] Speaker 1: looking for a rewards card member named Travis.
[4:00] Speaker 4: Yeah, that's tee Travis.
[4:02] Speaker 1: How you doing? Please don't hang up. This is not
[4:03] Speaker 1: a marketing phone call. I'm actually calling you with good news. Congratulations.
[4:06] Speaker 1: Here this month's big winner. Thank you very much for
[4:08] Speaker 1: shopping with us. We're all happy and clap before you
[4:10] Speaker 1: overhear and you've just won thirty six long stem red roses,
[4:14] Speaker 1: a box of candy, your chocolates, and a card to
[4:16] Speaker 1: be delivered to anybody that you want within the fifty
[4:18] Speaker 1: United States of America. It's a three hundred and sixteen
[4:20] Speaker 1: dollars value. Congratulations.
[4:22] Speaker 4: Wow, okay, thanks, So.
[4:26] Speaker 1: First thing I will need to be the first and
[4:27] Speaker 1: last name of the person you'd like to send them to.
[4:30] Speaker 4: Yeah, Jenjen?
[4:34] Speaker 1: And is there anything you'd like to put on a
[4:36] Speaker 1: card to?
[4:37] Speaker 3: Gen?
[4:38] Speaker 2: Sure?
[4:40] Speaker 4: Hey, kid, really proud of the how far you've gotten, keep.
[4:44] Speaker 1: It up and the ending on that. Do you want
[4:48] Speaker 1: to use it a love.
[4:49] Speaker 2: Regards, Love Travis. Sure.
[4:53] Speaker 1: And now I'll just let you know that this is
[4:55] Speaker 1: not the grocery store. This is actually the Jewbill Show.
[4:57] Speaker 1: It's a radio show.
[4:57] Speaker 3: My name is Jewbule. Yeah, Hi, I'm Nina. Hi, I'm
[5:00] Speaker 3: And this is.
[5:01] Speaker 1: A segment we do call to Catch a Cheater, where
[5:04] Speaker 1: if you think your significant other might be messing around,
[5:06] Speaker 1: you see who they send flowers to and your girlfriend
[5:08] Speaker 1: Ivy is actually on the phone.
[5:11] Speaker 2: Yeah, Hi, Hi, Hi? So, Like, what's up? What's your sister?
[5:19] Speaker 2: Can you? Can you talk to me about that? Like?
[5:21] Speaker 2: Why are you buying your sister flowers? Why are you
[5:23] Speaker 2: not getting money flowers? What's going on? Wait?
[5:26] Speaker 3: So Jenna is your sister? Yeah?
[5:29] Speaker 4: I'd be wait a second, what's happening? Why why are
[5:32] Speaker 4: you calling a radio station? And what would be wrong
[5:35] Speaker 4: with me giving jen flowers?
[5:37] Speaker 2: I'm calling them because I look.
[5:39] Speaker 5: I looked on the thank statement and the charges on
[5:42] Speaker 5: your card makes no sense. There's large, large charges on
[5:47] Speaker 5: your card and there's something up, and you're not telling me.
[5:50] Speaker 5: And I need to know what's going on because it
[5:52] Speaker 5: makes no sense where you're spending money.
[5:54] Speaker 2: It makes no sense how much you're spending money, and
[5:56] Speaker 2: something is up and you're not telling me. And this
[5:58] Speaker 2: is how I'm finding out.
[6:01] Speaker 4: I gave you that card for immersiency purchases IVY like
[6:06] Speaker 4: stuff for us and stuff that you might need. Why
[6:09] Speaker 4: are you looking through the statements? That's not your business.
[6:13] Speaker 2: Okay, you're making yourself look course right now.
[6:16] Speaker 4: You just imagine myself what you called a radio station
[6:19] Speaker 4: because you're like, I'm cheating on you. What do you want?
[6:23] Speaker 2: Are you giving me evidence to that effect?
[6:25] Speaker 4: What are you like?
[6:26] Speaker 5: You've not given me any evidence to the opposite. Oh
[6:30] Speaker 5: my god, says where Why aren't you spending so much
[6:35] Speaker 5: in like all these places last week the week before,
[6:37] Speaker 5: Like what's been going on?
[6:39] Speaker 4: Wow? I didn't think I was going to get uh
[6:42] Speaker 4: interrogated for things that I did with my own money,
[6:45] Speaker 4: not that this is public information. But Jen's been having
[6:48] Speaker 4: a hard time. She lost her job and she needed
[6:51] Speaker 4: a little help, okay, And I'm a brother and I
[6:56] Speaker 4: helped her out. Samantha also needed some school supplies, and
[7:01] Speaker 4: she's my niece. What am I gonna do?
[7:02] Speaker 1: Say?
[7:02] Speaker 4: No?
[7:03] Speaker 3: Okay, well you probably could have told IV that. I mean,
[7:05] Speaker 3: you know her history. So you did the right thing
[7:08] Speaker 3: by taking care of your family, no doubt. But your girlfriend,
[7:11] Speaker 3: who you love right has a history of cheating, and
[7:14] Speaker 3: that for her to feel concerned right now, So she also.
[7:17] Speaker 4: Has a history of like looking up a credit card statement.
[7:21] Speaker 3: Oh I get that. She don't love that, But that's
[7:22] Speaker 3: the conversation for another day. Right now, Right now, we're
[7:27] Speaker 3: just trying to find out if you're cheating, and it's
[7:28] Speaker 3: looking like you're not.
[7:30] Speaker 4: No, I'm not cheating. No. I you know, it's really
[7:34] Speaker 4: messed up because you know, she didn't even come to me.
[7:37] Speaker 4: My mother came to me and was like, you need
[7:38] Speaker 4: to help your sister. She I had to like beg
[7:42] Speaker 4: her to take the money because she wouldn't take it.
[7:45] Speaker 5: Why the hell are you even helping her though, Like,
[7:47] Speaker 5: it doesn't make sense. She's never shut anything, but she
[7:51] Speaker 5: never do anything for you. She has She never talks
[7:53] Speaker 5: about you, she never mentioned you, she never spent time
[7:57] Speaker 5: with you. You guys don't hang out. She's done nothing.
[8:00] Speaker 2: For you, Like, why are you helping her? It makes
[8:03] Speaker 2: no sense.
[8:04] Speaker 4: She's blood, we grew up together, she's my younger sister.
[8:07] Speaker 4: We don't hang in the same crowds. But doesn't mean
[8:08] Speaker 4: I don't love her.
[8:10] Speaker 1: So are you upset that he's helping a sister?
[8:11] Speaker 5: I'm upset because he helps people who just take stuff
[8:15] Speaker 5: from him and freeload off of him, and he just
[8:18] Speaker 5: lets people roll over him and use his money instead
[8:22] Speaker 5: of getting off their apps and getting a job. Maybe
[8:24] Speaker 5: he's helping a sister, which he shouldn't come without talking
[8:26] Speaker 5: to me about regard to proven that he's lying, which
[8:29] Speaker 5: makes no sense. So we've already got that, So what
[8:33] Speaker 5: is what else is he lying about?
[8:35] Speaker 2: Because I still think that Patricia's in the mix?
[8:37] Speaker 5: But Rcia, what are you talking about?
[8:40] Speaker 2: Ivy?
[8:41] Speaker 5: But is married, which is the two children, and I'm
[8:45] Speaker 5: friends with her husband.
[8:47] Speaker 4: What are you doing?
[8:48] Speaker 2: You don't you do not you have a single woman
[8:52] Speaker 2: to wreck your home, like you can be wrecking her
[8:55] Speaker 2: home and are you need her to be single?
[9:01] Speaker 1: Ivey, I've realized you've got some trust issues, but you
[9:03] Speaker 1: also if you're gonna be in a relationship, have to
[9:05] Speaker 1: be able to trust the person you're with. If nothing, like,
[9:08] Speaker 1: you need to look at the situation. Is it is
[9:11] Speaker 1: it really shady or is it you making up understandable
[9:16] Speaker 1: stories about things that could be happening.
[9:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, he's the one that is lying, like spending his
[9:21] Speaker 2: money and going after one.
[9:25] Speaker 5: With them all you table.
[9:28] Speaker 1: Conversation about it, I think you guys, Yeah, you guys
[9:31] Speaker 1: definitely need to have a much bigger conversation. And Ivy
[9:36] Speaker 1: and Travis sorry to say this, but Ivy, I honestly
[9:39] Speaker 1: straight up feel like you may not be ready to
[9:40] Speaker 1: be in a relationship yet.
[9:41] Speaker 4: I know you've been one for two years, but no,
[9:44] Speaker 4: like I didn't know about this fine print.
[9:48] Speaker 2: No, he's the one that's trying to like things behind
[9:51] Speaker 2: my back.
[9:52] Speaker 3: I really hope you guys talked before you really decide
[9:55] Speaker 3: on what you're gonna do.
[9:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, good luck.
[9:58] Speaker 4: Goods finding someone who it takes all of your ship
[10:02] Speaker 4: And they both hung up, So.
[10:05] Speaker 3: That turned into a lot more than cheating. Yeah, maybe
[10:09] Speaker 3: almost worse.
[10:11] Speaker 1: I hope they figure out something that's better for them
[10:13] Speaker 3: And communication is everything.
