[0:44] Everybody wants to be healthy and youthful and continue to do what
[0:48] they always have without the aches and pains that seem to come
[0:51] along through the years.
[0:52] Too often people aren't able to move around the way they used
[0:55] to when they get older, that impacts quality of life.
[0:59] International flexibility guru and martial artist Stacey Nemour
[1:02] shows people how to take their power back.
[1:05] She says flexibility is the key to longevity and is what truly
[1:09] determines how healthy and youthful we are.
[1:11] Sitting all day is very bad and poor posture is a modern day
[1:15] epidemic.
[1:16] For over 30 years, Stacy has custom designed flexibility injury
[1:20] prevention and recovery programs for top Olympians, established
[1:24] established actors, UFC champions, figure skaters, pro athletes,
[1:28] gymnasts and Cirque du Soleil performers.
[1:31] Stacy's been featured on Fox Sports, the Sky Channel, Kung Fu
[1:35] Magazine, Power Rangers, Lake Arrowhead magazine and many other
[1:39] publications.
[1:40] She has online masterclasses in flexibility makeovers.
[1:44] Stacy's been on our show before and we were wowed by her then
[1:48] and can't wait to share her knowledge again with our listeners.
[1:51] Welcome back, Stacy.
[1:53] Hi, Stacy.
[1:55] I'm laughing already.
[1:56] I just feel the love of you too.
[1:59] You guys are the best.
[2:01] Well, thank you.
[2:02] Oh gosh, Stacy, you are a wealth of knowledge and what you
[2:07] do, like I said, it's amazing.
[2:09] I know Kathy had a private session with you on flexibility for
[2:12] releasing trauma.
[2:13] Take your power back.
[2:14] Before we talk about that, I wanted to have you give our listeners
[2:18] a brief background of all that you do and how you got started.
[2:21] You really practice what you preach.
[2:23] The flexibility you have is just astounding.
[2:26] You can bend in ways I never thought possible in places where
[2:29] I think I would break.
[2:31] You know.
[2:34] You bring some tremendous life changing techniques to your clients.
[2:39] Tell us more.
[2:40] Okay.
[2:42] When I was a child, I realized it now more and more.
[2:46] I had an innate knowing of how to get myself flexible.
[2:51] I had this neighbor and we would do gymnastics all day long
[2:54] on the grass and we had a race to see who could get the splits first,
[2:57] a back bend or in a straddle stretch, you know, with your chest
[3:01] flat down.
[3:02] And I Saw the steps of how to get there then.
[3:06] And so as I got older, I saw people practicing kung fu.
[3:12] I got.
[3:13] I got asked to teach advanced kung.
[3:16] Kung fu students flexibility.
[3:18] So flexibility kind of found me.
[3:20] I was in the martial arts.
[3:22] Well, I got pulled in the martial arts when I got asked to
[3:25] show advanced kung fu students how to do.
[3:28] Be more flexible, to do all the tricks in their sets.
[3:31] And I got goosebumps when I saw them practicing.
[3:34] And I knew it would be my life path, so I went on the path of martial
[3:38] arts.
[3:38] But what's interesting was I could do the splits on the floor,
[3:42] but I couldn't kick straight up.
[3:43] That didn't translate.
[3:45] So within me was born a new system.
[3:48] I was guided.
[3:50] Even though I was taking privates from the great Chinese masters,
[3:53] I was guided how to integrate the flexibility in every way possible
[3:58] to have a better range of motion and to recover faster and
[4:02] to do it without pain.
[4:04] So I've been doing this over four decades, and what has stayed
[4:09] with me, which I think really has helped me now kick higher than
[4:14] I ever have and jump higher, is I read a book by Deepak Chopra,
[4:21] Ageless mind, timeless body.
[4:22] And he always said to have a meditation age where you sit in that
[4:28] age and ignore your.
[4:30] The years that are flying by.
[4:33] Because I decided not to believe in decline in any way, shape,
[4:38] or form, because I work so hard to get this level of physicality.
[4:43] And I wanted it to be an example to everybody else that we
[4:47] don't have to fall apart when we hit 50.
[4:50] Because I noticed people expect to fall apart.
[4:53] They expect their hair to turn gray and to get tight.
[4:58] And then later on, it's always talked about, I fell and broke my
[5:03] hip, and I had to have hip surgery.
[5:05] And there's a deep fascination around that with older people.
[5:09] If you go to old folks homes, they're fascinated with all their
[5:12] medications.
[5:13] Oh, yeah.
[5:14] This.
[5:15] This fall that people break their hip is actually due to two
[5:20] things.
[5:21] One is a tight calf muscle.
[5:23] The foot in the calf, is it stretched?
[5:26] And the other one is the posture, because people now lean
[5:31] forward and they get that rounded back, and so the center of
[5:35] gravity is pulled off and you're being like, pulled forward.
[5:39] So with a tight calf and that being pulled off and not walking
[5:43] in alignment, you just need to just hit a rock or miss a step and
[5:46] you fall.
[5:49] So it's about opening your body through stretching, and that
[5:53] gets the energy flowing, and that clears up the posture, and then
[5:57] you can walk straight.
[5:58] So that's some of it.
[6:00] Okay.
[6:01] Yeah, I remember As a kid, my mom always said, you know, sit up
[6:04] straight, posture, posture, you know, I kind of had that pounded
[6:07] into my head.
[6:08] And when you think about it, a lot of people, like you said, it's
[6:11] mindset.
[6:12] You hear people expecting, well, I'm not as young as I used
[6:16] to be.
[6:17] They're setting themselves up.
[6:18] And I like the idea of thinking, you know, young.
[6:22] You know, just put yourself in a particular age.
[6:24] So essentially, if we want to be 21 in our heads, that will influence
[6:28] us, won't it?
[6:29] Well, yeah.
[6:29] When you meditate or sit and center yourself, there's an energy,
[6:34] there's a you.
[6:34] We're all energy.
[6:36] And if we have a frequency of decline, an old person, Archie, our
[6:40] energy is not flowing.
[6:41] But if you go and you set a meditation age, that feels right
[6:46] to you, maybe when you are at that very height of your being in
[6:49] every way and you sit in that, what you do is feel the energy of
[6:54] what that felt like and you carry that frequency.
[6:58] And the body is a map of the mind and what you believe.
[7:03] I like that.
[7:05] And also these days, like, like we mentioned, sitting is called
[7:09] the new smoking and there's a epidemic.
[7:12] I didn't hear that before, but I like it.
[7:17] Yeah, it's interesting they're calling that now.
[7:19] Isn't that funny?
[7:21] That posture is an epidem and I work with clients from age 7 to
[7:26] 90 plus.
[7:27] And what I'm seeing now is children with spines of an 80 year
[7:31] old.
[7:32] Oh, rounded.
[7:33] Because every.
[7:34] Everybody's on their phone all day.
[7:36] Rounded on their computer, video games.
[7:40] And then there's also something called tech neck.
[7:42] I was going to say tech neck.
[7:44] I've heard of that.
[7:44] Yeah.
[7:44] So they're all connected, but it's just when your posture goes,
[7:49] you can't breathe as deeply.
[7:51] You breathe in fight or flight mode.
[7:54] Up in, up in your upper, above your chest there.
[7:58] And that's kind of a nervous energy.
[8:00] We want to breathe all the way to the bottom of our stomach.
[8:04] And that brings homeostasis to the body and clears asthma and certain
[8:11] things like that.
[8:12] So it's all about the breath.
[8:14] So when you're rounded, the energy isn't flowing.
[8:18] And energy is what keeps us young.
[8:19] It's our life force.
[8:21] And that poor posture is linked to anxiety, poor sleep, a
[8:25] pot belly.
[8:27] So the more you can sit up straight, the more energy you will
[8:31] have, the more oxygen goes to your brain.
[8:34] There's so much to it.
[8:36] Wow.
[8:37] Yeah.
[8:38] So.
[8:39] Well, when you think about it, we weren't designed to sit like we
[8:42] do, and people Good.
[8:44] Majority of them sit all the time.
[8:46] They have to for their work.
[8:47] They're in front of computers.
[8:48] Children, of course, are sitting in classrooms.
[8:51] And you're.
[8:52] You're right.
[8:53] People are stuck with their devices.
[8:55] And we weren't designed to do all of this.
[8:58] Yeah, yeah, we're all.
[9:00] Now, you know, most of us are designed to get the dopamine, dopamine
[9:05] hit from looking, you know, Scrolling online.
[9:08] Oh, man.
[9:09] Yeah.
[9:10] Other than the endorphin high of going outside and, you know, like.
[9:14] Like when I was a kid, all I did was play outside.
[9:18] Me too.
[9:19] Now kids are.
[9:21] You know, it's great.
[9:22] The wave of technology and how the next generation has hit the ground
[9:27] running and know all of that, but it's.
[9:29] It's needs to be in balance.
[9:31] Yeah.
[9:32] Well, I've been amazed in my neighborhood how many kids are not
[9:36] outside.
[9:36] You know, kids are always making noise, and I love that sound.
[9:40] Where are they?
[9:41] They're inside.
[9:42] They're not outside running around.
[9:43] They're in front of their games.
[9:44] Yeah.
[9:45] And the last place I wanted to be as a kid was stuck inside.
[9:49] You know, me too.
[9:51] In Michigan, when it was winter, I didn't like winter so much,
[9:54] but summertime, I was out there running around, constantly
[9:58] going, going, going.
[9:59] I was the ever ready rabbit, you know?
[10:01] Exactly.
[10:02] Yeah.
[10:03] And I think that's why there's so much anxiety and depression in.
[10:08] In kids up to adults, you know, there's more things than we
[10:12] ever heard of, you know, you know, with ADHD and, you know, all
[10:18] these different things and all these different medications that
[10:22] people are starting on so young and staying on through life.
[10:27] Not to say that sometimes it isn't necessary, but it's also about
[10:33] getting back in the body and your natural flow of life.
[10:38] Yeah.
[10:38] You know, and.
[10:40] And finding your passions and not comparing yourself to everyone
[10:44] on social media.
[10:45] And what my flexibility system does is put you back in your body.
[10:50] I love it.
[10:51] Back in control of your instrument.
[10:53] Mm.
[10:54] That makes sense.
[10:55] I mean, we're stuck in these bodies.
[10:56] We need to take care of them, and we need to listen to them, and
[10:59] the body needs to work with us, too.
[11:02] Stacy, your insight is terrific.
[11:04] You have so many benefits with all of your training, like the one
[11:07] that you did with Kathy.
[11:09] Flexibility for releasing trauma.
[11:11] Take your power back.
[11:12] That's on video, by the way.
[11:13] Kathy, what was that like?
[11:15] I mean, I've seen some of the snippets of the video.
[11:17] It was amazing what Stacy was able to do with you.
[11:20] Yeah, well, I wasn't really sure what I was going into like,
[11:25] I know Stacy and I mean, looking at her videos and all that
[11:28] she does, I'm thinking, oh my God.
[11:29] My main goal really was to do the splits.
[11:33] It's been a lifelong dream of mine.
[11:35] I said I got to be able.
[11:35] To do the splits.
[11:36] So I've always, you know, I've tried and tried and I do yoga and,
[11:41] you know, sitting in equipment for 13 hours a day and only getting
[11:45] out once or twice a day to stretch.
[11:47] And literally just when I say stretch, it's climbing down the stairs,
[11:52] going to the bathroom, climbing back in and having a nap,
[11:54] right?
[11:55] So when I do that for 14 days a week, it's really hard on my body.
[12:01] I mean, I'm 55.
[12:02] The older I get, the harder it is.
[12:04] I mean, the equipment's rough.
[12:06] So I had recently started.
[12:08] Well, last year I started actually when Covid hit because we
[12:13] weren't allowed to the gym.
[12:14] I had started doing yoga in my room and I'd never really done yoga
[12:18] before.
[12:19] So I found the difference in how I felt on a day to day basis
[12:25] from just doing a basic 20, 30 minute yoga stretch in the morning
[12:28] or in the evening, all depending on what shift I'm at, made
[12:32] a huge difference, not only in my posture but in how I felt.
[12:37] And it helped my, my mental clarity, it helped my mental health.
[12:41] It just, it just was beneficial all around.
[12:44] So after we had Stacy on our show the first time around, I, I
[12:49] happened to move to la and she close to LA or in Lake Arrowhead,
[12:54] which is on top of the mountain behind Los Angeles.
[12:58] So I'm like, hey, I always want to go to that lake, so let's.
[13:01] Go check it out.
[13:01] So I made an appointment at her, at her house and man, like,
[13:06] I just thought maybe that it'd be a simple stretching session, right?
[13:10] But no, no, no, no, no, no.
[13:13] What Stacy was able to accomplish with not only my body,
[13:17] but more with my mental approach to flexibility went on a
[13:25] deep internal level.
[13:28] And what I mean by that is that as we were progressing, how
[13:32] long was I there, Stacy?
[13:33] An hour and a half?
[13:34] Yeah, about an hour and a half.
[13:36] Yeah.
[13:36] So it sounds like nothing, but it's something.
[13:42] Oh, yeah.
[13:43] So from the, from, from the time I walked in just to doing the
[13:46] simple door stretches to just everything basic, well, I started
[13:52] feeling a more relaxed inner state of mind or inner peace, I guess
[13:58] I could say that just enabled me to stretch a little bit further
[14:02] and reach deeper into myself as I'm working with her to allow
[14:07] myself to open up.
[14:09] And when I say open Up.
[14:11] It wasn't just allowing my muscles to stretch further, but it
[14:14] was allowing my inner core, the deep inner core of Kathy, just
[14:21] to open my wings a little bit more and extend.
[14:25] And we did the before and after pictures, and I still have
[14:28] it on my favorites list because I keep that picture as a
[14:32] reminder.
[14:32] Like, oh, my God.
[14:33] From the before, trying to do the splits and to that, the very
[14:36] end, at the hour and a half.
[14:38] Well, son of a gun, I can't even begin to tell you how good that
[14:42] felt.
[14:42] And it's not like it was painful or it's not like it didn't
[14:47] require any extra.
[14:48] It just required a shift in my own personal focus.
[14:52] And, yeah, I learned so much in that.
[14:55] And so since then, I've been using that approach, that internalization
[15:02] approach to every time I do yoga.
[15:04] And I feel phenomenal.
[15:06] Like my body has gotten leaner, I guess you could say.
[15:10] And I feel a lot more balanced, if that makes sense.
[15:16] That's phenomenal.
[15:18] One wouldn't think that you'd accomplish all of that in an hour
[15:21] and a half.
[15:22] I know, right?
[15:23] And I'm not.
[15:23] I'm not saying this just, you know, to butter Stacy up, and, you
[15:27] know, it.
[15:27] This really happened.
[15:28] If anybody watches the videos, like, I'm sitting there.
[15:32] So when I shoot courses, I want to make them real life.
[15:37] I don't rehearse with anybody.
[15:38] I have just walk in cold.
[15:41] So whoever's doing the course will get the same experience.
[15:44] You know, the time it takes to figure out something or put on the
[15:49] stretch strap or the posture strap, and it's all in real time,
[15:53] and it's not.
[15:54] Not edited out or anything.
[15:56] So they're getting that same experience.
[15:59] And you watch with each course.
[16:01] If I have a guest, you watch them transform before your very eyes.
[16:05] Yeah, it's remarkable.
[16:07] And so with Kathy, I showed her the reason it wasn't painful
[16:12] is my system.
[16:13] Well, it's spiritually channeled.
[16:15] I get shown pictures of what the client needs, and I work on a
[16:18] very high energy frequency that produces an instantaneous healing.
[16:23] I almost override their consciousness.
[16:25] And I see them as completely well and the way exactly they want
[16:29] to be, which is their real self.
[16:31] And there's a certain order to do stretches in.
[16:35] People try to stretch and they go right to their hamstrings and
[16:38] they're like bouncing.
[16:39] They're like, oh, it'll never happen.
[16:41] And they give up.
[16:42] But you have to do a certain sequence.
[16:44] So by the time you get to the deeper areas, it's.
[16:49] It's like a Different experience.
[16:50] It's very, very easy once you open your back and your hips in your
[16:54] cat.
[16:55] And what happened during our session, too is Kathy mentioned in
[17:00] the afterthoughts that she had done a lot of inner work, but this
[17:05] was the first time she felt it leave her body physically.
[17:09] So this flexibility wrings out the stored trauma in the body, so
[17:14] it can finally leave even if you released it on different levels.
[17:18] And it always goes to our weakest area.
[17:21] And a lot of trauma is stored in the hips.
[17:23] So that's why a lot of people have a lot of lower back and hip
[17:27] pain, which then leads to knee pain and all kinds of other things.
[17:32] So the other thing is, is at 54, she was almost flat in her splits,
[17:38] which was so exciting.
[17:39] Yeah.
[17:40] Oh, man.
[17:41] Yeah.
[17:42] In that course, she was wanting to train for handstands.
[17:45] So remember we did a handstand segment.
[17:48] Oh, yeah, that's right.
[17:49] Walked up the wall and worked on that to also just stretch your
[17:55] power back.
[17:56] I know she was doing boxing, so we added some short boxing drills.
[18:01] Yep, that's right.
[18:03] And how to breathe in time.
[18:04] It's not difficult.
[18:05] Anybody could do it.
[18:06] And you can do it empty hand and add weights and get an upper
[18:09] body workout.
[18:10] So you're kind of working everything, mind, body, spirit, your
[18:15] muscles, your core and clearing your posture and releasing
[18:19] trauma, and you just feel much younger and lighter.
[18:23] And what's interesting with the client, and it happened with
[18:25] Kathy, when I'm working with somebody, I can feel all of a sudden
[18:30] in my body.
[18:31] I'll either feel like I'm going to cry or I'm going to laugh.
[18:33] And I feel waves and I look down and the same thing is happening
[18:37] to the client.
[18:38] And they actually, you know, get that euphoria or feel giddy or
[18:42] sometimes tears come out because something's that was buried
[18:46] so deep that they weren't ready to face yet can just lift out.
[18:51] So it's different with every person, but there's always something
[18:57] magical and transformative that happens.
[18:59] It was magical.
[19:00] It was a transformation.

[21:03] We want to help as many women as possible.
[21:06] Stacy Nemour got her start teaching flexibility to Kung Fu students.
[21:09] She knew it was going to be her life path.
[21:11] She knows the absolute importance of a good posture and
[21:15] flexibility.
[21:16] When you have poor posture, you're set for a decline.
[21:19] Stacy studied the martial arts and learned the science of expanding
[21:22] range of motion.
[21:24] She's custom designed flexibility injury prevention and
[21:27] recovery programs for top Olympians, established actors, UFC
[21:31] champions, figure skaters, pro athletes, gymnasts and Cirque du
[21:35] Soleil performers.
[21:36] Stacy doesn't believe in decline in any shape or form.
[21:40] We don't have to fall apart as we get older.
[21:42] Flexibility is key to youth and vitality and to preventing falls.
[21:47] Many falls that result in hip fractures are due to a tight calf
[21:50] muscle, according to Stacy, and a poor posture with a rounded
[21:54] back that throws your alignment off.
[21:56] It needs to be corrected along with our mindset.
[21:59] We need to make it a youth mindset.
[22:02] Stacy helps people do this with her online Masterclass series
[22:05] of flexibility makeovers.
[22:07] She's changing lives and giving people a new lease on life
[22:10] and a vitality they never thought that they would have.
[22:14] Her training also helps rid our bodies of trauma.
[22:17] She's been sharing some of her incredible Wisdom with us.
[22:20] You know, Stacy, when you're talking about trauma, there have
[22:23] been books written that the body basically has a memory.
[22:27] It stores trauma.
[22:28] We may forget about things, but the body remembers.
[22:31] So what you're doing, you're not only providing the flexibility,
[22:34] but you're freeing people of maybe some of the things that have
[22:37] happened to them in their lives.
[22:38] And I find it interesting.
[22:39] You said the hips store a lot of trauma.
[22:42] Yes, they do.
[22:43] And when we get upset, you'll notice it always goes to your weakest
[22:49] area.
[22:49] Wherever you have your chronic pain, it gets amplified because it
[22:55] is stored in the body.
[22:56] And it is your body talking to you, needing attention, needing to
[23:01] breathe into that area, needing to send love into that area
[23:05] and to bless it and release it and let it go.
[23:09] So your courses, you work with all kinds of people.
[23:13] You've worked with celebrities, pro athletes, all of
[23:16] that, and beginners like me, right?
[23:18] Yeah, yeah.
[23:19] A wide range.
[23:20] I love it because everybody needs it.
[23:22] I work with a lot of children that are on the path to becoming,
[23:28] you know, Olympic figure skaters, gymnast, prima ballerinas
[23:33] and what.
[23:34] Another thing that I've seen in the sports world is they're still
[23:39] in the cave ages when it comes to flexibility.
[23:41] It's an art and science within itself.
[23:44] And it's not ordinary stretching that needs to be done.
[23:48] There's a new way to do it.
[23:50] Like I mentioned in the sequence and learning how to use
[23:54] the breath properly.
[23:55] So there's a huge imbalance going on with all the athletes, especially
[23:59] in children.
[24:00] I'm seeing all of these patterns of misalignment and they're
[24:04] already in pain.
[24:06] So they raised the bar so high.
[24:09] You know, we're always evolving.
[24:11] In every.
[24:11] In every art, in every perform, in any report form of performance,
[24:17] we're always evolving.
[24:18] So you've noticed they've raised the bar higher and higher
[24:20] every year.
[24:21] When you see America's Got Talent or the Olympics, they're always
[24:26] going somewhere new.
[24:28] But there has to be the flexibility going somewhere new to
[24:32] keep up with it.
[24:33] So what's happening with these?
[24:35] A lot of these poor girls that I work with are being like forced
[24:39] into splits and, you know, forced to do take their leg this
[24:45] way or that way without preparing the body to do it.
[24:49] And that drives me crazy because I want to Presley the person
[24:53] because it's forming their spines to twist and really come out
[24:59] of alignment because they're trying to force their body to go
[25:02] to this new level to keep up so they'll get the next audition
[25:06] or be in the show.
[25:07] Or get, you know, get accepted and stay with their troop.
[25:12] So I work to clear that up and show them how easy it is and put
[25:17] them in touch with their instrument too, so they have better
[25:20] control and perform with precision and not get hurt.
[25:25] So that's one aspect of my business with the athletes, is bringing
[25:29] that in.
[25:30] And I've saved so many people that were about to quit their sport
[25:33] of any age because they thought it was over because of the
[25:37] pain.
[25:37] This is marvelous.
[25:39] Also, I would think there's some people I know who were in gymnastics
[25:44] when they were young and now they have all kinds of issues, probably
[25:49] because they didn't have your kind of training.
[25:51] And essentially what they were doing and forcing their body to do
[25:54] at a young age created problems, didn't it?
[25:57] Oh, yes.
[25:58] And then when you stop moving, it all gets tighter and tighter and
[26:02] tighter.
[26:03] Yeah, so.
[26:04] And that's the thing too is when you get injured or you're in
[26:09] pain and you just stop moving, everything starts to atrophied and
[26:16] you want to keep the circulation and the energy going.
[26:19] So it's always good to try to train around injuries and look it
[26:25] as an opportunity to come back stronger.
[26:28] There's always an opportunity in every injury.
[26:30] Maybe it's to seek the right modality to clear what's going on
[26:35] underneath the injury as well.
[26:37] But the body temple can heal anything with the right mindset and
[26:41] treatment.
[26:42] None of this has to be a life sentence.
[26:45] I also worked with people who've had cancer and serious diseases
[26:50] too.
[26:51] And miraculous things have happened.
[26:54] People coming into hardly able to walk because of burning pains,
[26:59] radiant down legs and they're almost out dancing that night.
[27:03] And the most of them have told me they've tried every healing modality
[27:08] and then, then they see me and it just clears.
[27:10] And I really believe it's one.
[27:13] The frequency that I work on, the energy of instantaneous healing
[27:18] and, and being guided to wring that out of their body.
[27:23] And then sometimes I'm guided to be very esoteric and I mean, but
[27:30] I'm also guided with certain people.
[27:32] You know, we have the dancers and Olympians and that's one thing.
[27:35] But the people that have really are messed up and have a lot
[27:38] of trauma, had divorce, had deaths, had life stuff happen, their
[27:43] childhood.
[27:43] I literally do spiritual surgeries where I cut the trauma
[27:47] cord from them to the trauma and trauma to them, or if somebody
[27:52] has an abusive ex husband after them and they're looking over
[27:55] their shoulder, I cut the energetic ties and both sides and
[28:01] the person feels a great relief.
[28:03] And what's interesting is you can, you cannot cut unconditional
[28:07] love.
[28:08] That's really the only thing that's real.
[28:10] That's what we are.
[28:11] But you can cut away cords and connections to people.
[28:16] We can all do it ourselves when we meditate.
[28:18] So, so you all know out there you can just visualize it, but you
[28:23] can cut cords that bind you to people or situations, and it's not
[28:30] only good for you, but for the other person.
[28:34] I did in treatment something similar to that and they called it,
[28:38] it was just a one time session that a pastor had come in the very
[28:42] first day I'm in treatment in 2009.
[28:44] And he called it Soul Tie.
[28:47] And.
[28:48] Very good.
[28:49] Yeah.
[28:50] And what it, what he had us do, he prayed over these random stones
[28:55] and you had to pick a stone that you felt was attached to whatever
[29:01] your biggest pain was.
[29:03] And so I picked five big stones.
[29:06] I had five major traumas.
[29:08] And so with that, he gave us a cloth.
[29:12] And then you had to tie each stone in, in the cloth with, with
[29:18] some simple thread.
[29:19] Right.
[29:20] And so I, and you had to lock that sucker in there.
[29:22] So I made sure I tied like 13, 14 knots.
[29:25] I said, this sucker is never coming out.
[29:26] Right.
[29:27] So my, my little piece of cloth.
[29:28] And then we had to write words of, of how we wanted to heal those
[29:32] pains.
[29:33] So here's the interesting thing.
[29:36] So in order to cut that cord, cut the, that tie, cut that pain
[29:41] from us, he had us do something different.
[29:44] He had us put that, that, that cloth with all our individual pains
[29:48] underneath our pillow and sleep on.
[29:51] And he said, when you're ready, because now you're in recovery
[29:54] and when you're ready to address that particular problem,
[29:58] he says, I can guarantee you that stone will be, will have untied
[30:02] itself.
[30:02] And I thought that was the biggest crock of bologna.
[30:05] Yeah, right.
[30:06] So I did it anyway, because I'm curious.
[30:08] And so every morning I'm making my bed and I'm looking at.
[30:11] Yeah, no, that's still under my pillow.
[30:13] It's all good.
[30:13] Well, as I progress in my therapy, when I was feeling ready
[30:19] to like unconsciously thinking, okay, well, you know, I'm
[30:22] looking at this and this.
[30:23] I kid you not, Stacy and Shelly, that one morning I go to
[30:29] make my bed and that there's a stone that was, was free.
[30:34] It had untied itself from my 13 knots.
[30:37] Wow.
[30:38] And it was the one addressing the abandonment from my father.
[30:42] That was the first one I looked at.
[30:43] And I'm like, oh my God.
[30:45] But it's, it's interesting because what it did it gave me permission
[30:50] to say, well, you know what it's ready to look at.
[30:52] I could do this.
[30:54] So it's as.
[30:55] It was a mental thing.
[30:56] Right.
[30:57] Whether how it came undone, I have no idea.
[30:59] But I addressed it and I was able to cut that tie.
[31:03] It.
[31:03] It liberated me.
[31:04] So as.
[31:05] So my program was a year.
[31:07] So every time as I'm going along, another rock would come undone
[31:12] and another one until all five of my stones had undone themselves
[31:16] by themselves, without me taking or helping them along.
[31:19] True story.
[31:20] That's amazing, right?
[31:23] Wow.
[31:23] And so the ties were cut.
[31:25] The bond, like the attachment to my own pain was able to be released.
[31:31] Isn't that something?
[31:32] Yeah, yeah.
[31:33] The addiction to the pain that's like, becomes.
[31:36] We normalize that state of being.
[31:39] And what's interesting is, well, when the student's ready, the
[31:42] teacher isn't, will appear.
[31:44] And there's no one way to do anything.
[31:48] That person, that blessing that showed up in your life was exactly
[31:52] perfect for you at that time.
[31:56] Oh, yeah, absolutely.
[31:58] In the exact way you needed it at that time.
[32:01] And when you have experiences like that where you can't unsee the
[32:06] evidence of the result or the miracle, you know, it.
[32:11] It changes you and opens you up to all the other unlimited possibilities
[32:16] and all the miracles available to us.
[32:20] So it is said a miracle is something that's already true on
[32:25] the spiritual plane that we've allowed to manifest on the physical
[32:28] plane.
[32:29] I love it.
[32:30] Yeah.
[32:30] No, that makes sense to me 100%.
[32:32] Yeah.
[32:33] So, Stacy, what you're doing with clients not only improves their
[32:37] physical health, but their mental health.
[32:39] And when you think about it, that's a symbiosis.
[32:41] You really have to have both, don't you?
[32:43] Yeah, that's why they say mind, body, spirit.
[32:46] And it's.
[32:48] We're in a time now where the.
[32:52] The frequencies of the earth are raising up and there's a big
[32:57] awakening going on on the planet now.
[32:59] And it's time for all of us to return to love and come from the
[33:05] higher heart, space within ourselves, within the community,
[33:10] with humanity and reverence for all things that have life.
[33:14] But that starts with the self, because everything in life is a mirror
[33:19] of the self and different aspects of the self.
[33:21] And we're all one and we're all connected.
[33:24] So what I.
[33:25] What I love to do is give people back to themselves, who they
[33:31] really are and who they really wanted to be, and help people get
[33:37] to where they want to go very quickly.
[33:40] And I cut years of frustration and delays out of their journey.
[33:47] So people like I've mentioned who tried every modality come to
[33:50] me and all of a sudden they're crying and it just happens very quickly.
[33:55] So when the person is ready, they'll find me if they're ready
[33:58] to shift quickly and let this all go.
[34:00] It doesn't need to be years and years and years and years if
[34:04] you, if you've done the work and you're really ready to make the
[34:07] shift.
[34:08] So what's most astounding about my work, if you look at my
[34:11] before and afters on my flexibility private session page,
[34:15] is it's astounding that I even had people about 80 years old, men
[34:22] that could not touch their toes when they were a kid, and they
[34:26] touched their toes in one session with me.
[34:28] Well, like, people would call that impossible.
[34:32] But again, I always say miracles is my natural state of being
[34:36] and a means of saving time.
[34:39] So I like to get, you know, get to the root of everything with
[34:45] every person on every level.
[34:48] And so I think people associate stretching just, oh, doing
[34:53] some stretches and stuff.
[34:54] But this flexibility training is a whole new art and science that
[34:59] addresses everything on every level.
[35:01] And I tailor it to whatever the need is.
[35:05] And also just we're, a lot of us are filled with so much fear and
[35:10] anxiety these days.
[35:12] So it's important to heal that because you can be flexible, you
[35:17] can be healthy, but you also want to have a peaceful state of
[35:21] mind so you can enjoy each day fully and feel your own light.
[35:27] I would think your training would be absolutely marvelous for
[35:31] someone who has pain, has to be on medications.
[35:36] This would free them.
[35:38] I mean, you're emancipating people.
[35:40] Yes.
[35:41] Yeah.
[35:41] Like, if you go to a doctor, they're always going to suggest surgery
[35:45] or medications because it's all about, you know, the pharmaceuticals
[35:49] wants you to get hooked and don't want you to ever get cured.
[35:53] And it's just the beginning of the end when you get buried in all
[35:58] of that and you just start to feel so helpless.
[36:01] So, yeah, there's a whole other way to do it where you can
[36:06] get off all that stuff and take your mind back and your body
[36:09] back and your health back and also be able to get back in touch
[36:14] with our inner knowing, with our intuition and back within our
[36:19] passion.
[36:20] We all need to get in touch with our purpose and our reason for
[36:24] being here and let our gifts and our light shine.
[36:28] We lose that as we go through life, don't we?
[36:31] A lot of people lose their purpose.
[36:33] Yes.
[36:33] Yes.
[36:34] Disappointment after disappointment brings us down.
[36:38] And yes, sometimes we do go through a dark Night of the soul.
[36:43] Sometimes we've risen so high spiritually that there's still stuff
[36:48] in our subconscious that needs to go back and be cleared.
[36:52] And we have the energy to do it then because we're.
[36:55] We need to have a new frequency to prepare us for where
[36:59] we're going to go beyond where we've ever gone before.
[37:03] And it does not matter what your age is, that you can rebirth
[37:08] yourself and find your passion again and go to new heights.
[37:13] It's never.
[37:14] It's never over unless you say it's over.
[37:18] And if you get into the flexibility training the right way,
[37:22] you can do your beloved passions, golfing, gardening, running
[37:28] much longer, usually until you leave the planet.
[37:32] But flexibility is the highest starting point because then you can
[37:37] do all the positions in yoga easily or whatever it is that you
[37:42] want, how you want to express yourself physically.
[37:45] But it's funny because you'll see, now everybody's just going for
[37:49] Botox.
[37:52] Yeah, it's just like this.
[37:55] Quit.
[37:55] I don't judge any of it.
[37:57] I do go for, like, laser IPL and infrared skin tightening, you
[38:02] know, to be the best I could be.
[38:03] But I want my skin to earn it, you know, and not have anything unnatural
[38:08] put in there where, you know, everyone kind of starts to look weird.
[38:12] And all the same with the.
[38:14] Oh, man.
[38:14] Well, their faces don't.
[38:16] Your face.
[38:17] You got to lose your face.
[38:18] I mean, your face.
[38:20] But what I am saying is how you walk, stand, talk, and carry
[38:25] yourself is what is youthful.
[38:29] So if you have good posture, which is the posture of confidence
[38:34] and not of a victim, your energy's flowing and you're aligned
[38:38] with who you truly are, you literally glow and you.
[38:43] You just take back.
[38:45] The years just fall away.
[38:47] When you are able to be flexible and pick up something easily,
[38:51] reach to a top shelf and walk in a youthful way with a spring in
[38:56] your step.
[38:58] Botox is, you know, all these other new things that we have, you
[39:02] know, there's another way to do it where you can actually feel
[39:06] youthful from head to toe.
[39:08] There's nothing wrong with Botox, but I'm just saying we're
[39:11] all so obsessed with staying young.
[39:14] Oh, yes.
[39:15] Especially in the United States and more in North America.
[39:18] Yeah, yeah.
[39:19] But you could have this Botox face, but they kind of hunched over
[39:22] and holding their fucking.
[39:24] You know, so there's.
[39:26] There's so much more available now in that way to do that.
[39:31] You know, yesterday I was volunteering at.
[39:37] At the.
[39:38] At the seminar that I attended all weekend, my spiritual seminar
[39:41] that I go to every year with ECKANKAR and I was a volunteer at
[39:44] the tent, so we had thousands of people coming in and I'm helping
[39:49] with the luggage, and I'm just kind of, you know, because people
[39:51] drop their luggage before they go to the airport.
[39:54] There's a fellow who was watching me go along and, you know
[39:57] me, bubbly personality, and I got light despair and energy and
[40:01] love and laughter, and it's just coming oozing out of me.
[40:04] This man from another country, he comes up to me, he says, you know,
[40:08] I've been watching you.
[40:09] And he says, I have to say, you have the most beautiful power
[40:13] I have ever seen.
[40:14] I'm like, huh?
[40:16] He says, you have beautiful power.
[40:18] And I've never been told that before.
[40:21] And I thought that was really interesting.
[40:23] And now that you've heard that.
[40:25] Thank you.
[40:27] Yeah.
[40:27] That's an example of what you're.
[40:29] Is being mirrored back to you.
[40:31] Because a lot of people, you know, they'll tell you you glow because
[40:35] you do, because you.
[40:38] You're connected to your soul's purpose and your love for
[40:41] yourself and everything and everyone around you, and it radiates
[40:46] out.
[40:46] And then people start to really gravitate to that and they
[40:49] want to know that's the highest thing we can do, is to go
[40:56] to the.
[40:57] To be who we were born to be with our soul's purpose and be filled
[41:02] with.
[41:02] With our own light and our love and think independently of circumstances,
[41:07] you know, of what's going on in the world.
[41:08] You want to help the world.
[41:10] Raised yourself up and it has this ripple effect that goes out
[41:15] into the ethers and others pick that up and start to wake too.
[41:20] Absolutely.
[41:21] And.
[41:21] And that's.
[41:23] And just by doing that and being a living example of what's
[41:27] possible changes everything as it goes out into the world.
[41:33] Yes, it does.
[41:33] It's all a ripple.
[41:35] Yeah.
[41:35] And yes, there's a lot of chaos going on in the world, but
[41:39] we don't have to go enjoin that.
[41:41] We can opt out and choose to be at our highest frequency, our

[41:58] I love that, you know, and I love that scene.

[43:21] Welcome back to Women Road warriors with Shelly Johnson and
[43:26] Kathy Takara.
[43:30] Stacy Nemour's flexibility program puts us back in our bodies.
[43:34] When you're in pain, everything starts to atrophy.
[43:38] When you train for a sport, you need to train around injury.
[43:41] Stacy says there's always an opportunity around every injury.
[43:45] The body temple can heal anything with the right treatment.
[43:48] Much of this comes with flexibility.
[43:50] That's where Stacy comes in.
[43:52] She heals people.
[43:53] She helps people release trauma, including emotional trauma
[43:57] that keep us stopped in our tracks.
[43:59] Stacy improves the mind, body and spirit.
[44:02] She has custom designed flexibility training, injury prevention
[44:05] and recovery programs for top Olympians, established actors, UFC
[44:10] champions, figure skaters, pro athletes, gymnasts and Cirque du
[44:14] Soleil performers.
[44:15] Stacy doesn't believe in decline in any shape or form.
[44:19] We don't have to fall apart as we get older.
[44:22] She tailors programs for people of all ages, even in their
[44:25] 80s, to increase their flexibility and take their mind,
[44:28] body and health back.
[44:30] This is so liberating and contrary to popular belief about
[44:34] what happens as we get older.
[44:36] Stacy, you do training with people online.
[44:40] Could you kind of walk us through some of the things that you
[44:43] do with people?
[44:44] Because I think that you're going to be a major godsend for people.
[44:48] Yes.
[44:48] So wherever you are in the world, I love you.
[44:51] I got your back.
[44:55] I have clients in in Ireland and Australia and almost every country.
[45:00] Many people travel from all over the world to work with me in
[45:03] person and do an intensive.
[45:05] But for those who can't do it, I do Skype and Zoom sessions.
[45:09] I also sell Stacy posture strap I custom designed as we've
[45:13] talked so much about posture.
[45:14] It instantly opens your heart and chest, takes Pressure off the
[45:18] neck you put on the posture strap.
[45:20] Kathy?
[45:21] Yeah, yeah, I have, I have it at work.
[45:23] You bet.
[45:24] Yeah, it really just.
[45:25] It protects your shoulder.
[45:26] So many people have frozen shoulder rotator cuff stuff.
[45:29] So I have flexibility products and a stretch strap I custom design
[45:33] to help you go further than you could go on your own.
[45:37] So it's like, like I'm there spotting you.
[45:39] So yes, I do the privates, I do in person and then I also with
[45:44] the privates you get all the online courses so you can log in
[45:48] anytime and they don't expire or you can do the courses on your
[45:53] own and just buy the courses and the posture and stretch strap
[45:58] and log in from anywhere, anytime.
[46:00] So the thing is, is you can stretch anytime, anywhere.
[46:04] And I set it up so you can use wall space and create your own little
[46:08] flexibility gym with just a few things and space to support you.
[46:12] So you don't need, you know, a lot of equipment.
[46:14] You could do it in a hotel room, wherever you are.
[46:18] And for those who need it, you know, I address whatever their special
[46:22] needs are if they also need energy, work or any spiritual surgeries
[46:26] or anything that's included.
[46:28] But every, it's not a one size fits all.
[46:31] Everyone has a completely different system and you know, in
[46:37] different areas where they have a resistance of letting the
[46:40] light in and the good end.
[46:41] So it's all very customized.
[46:43] I like that it's tailor made rather than when you go to a doctor,
[46:47] they're working with baselines and you're being.
[46:49] Paired with everybody else or reading off a script.
[46:52] Uh huh.
[46:53] Yeah.
[46:54] So yes.
[46:56] What are some of the comments people have made that have come to
[46:58] you for whatever their reasons, maybe pain management.
[47:01] They want additional flexibility so that they don't fall.
[47:05] I mean that is a huge thing.
[47:07] And a lot of people end up in nursing homes just because they.
[47:10] Yes, I have people too that I.
[47:12] One man walked in, he was like the Tower of Pisa speakers on my
[47:18] website of it like he tried to touch his toes and one arm was way
[47:21] out front, other arm was way.
[47:23] It was all twisted and in one session that got evened out and he
[47:27] touched his toes.
[47:28] He was 78.
[47:29] Wow.
[47:30] People are usually like, they usually say wow, they're in shock,
[47:35] they feel euphoric and just everyone's usually so grateful and
[47:42] are in shock because they always gone further than they ever
[47:46] thought they could even go.
[47:48] It goes beyond what you thought you could ever do.
[47:52] That's, that's what happens.
[47:53] It always works with every client and it.
[47:55] Because it seems who shows up to me is ready, ready to receive.
[48:01] That is their soul.
[48:02] You know, it's their soul's calling.
[48:05] And they found me at the right time.
[48:08] And you know, a lot of them are just really giddy.
[48:10] A lot of people cry because they're so happy.
[48:13] And I, I'm working with like a 12 year old dancer and online and
[48:18] she's so cute because they start dancing now like at 2 and in
[48:22] 1 session, you know, got all her splits, her back bend, everything
[48:25] and she goes, I've been wanting this since I was two years
[48:28] old.
[48:30] Wow.
[48:32] Yeah.
[48:32] And so yeah, it just.
[48:35] And then also another big thing is children need it.
[48:38] All you sports parents out there, they really need it, boys
[48:41] and girls, for during growth spurts because their body hasn't
[48:46] caught up to all the changes and they lose all their flexibility
[48:49] and balance and coordination.
[48:51] Oh gosh, I remember that I grew six and a half inches in one
[48:55] year when I was 16.
[48:56] Oh my gosh.
[48:58] Yeah.
[48:59] And you don't realize you're longer.
[49:01] Yeah.
[49:02] And you feel so awkward.
[49:03] So they really, really need help.
[49:05] You know, that's a whole other subject too, about the sports world
[49:08] and sports parents and pushing their kids.
[49:11] There's a lot of abuse that goes on with the coaches.
[49:14] But if they think that coach or teacher is the very best in the
[49:17] world, they put up with it a lot.
[49:20] A good coach is one that also supports the child's well being and
[49:24] makes them feel safe.
[49:25] Stacy, I think that your techniques at an early age could
[49:30] really set the stage for healthy people that are not in pain
[49:34] in their lifetime.
[49:36] I mean, it just makes so much sense.
[49:38] I'm so glad that you said that because that's exactly what I'm doing,
[49:42] is putting them in touch with their instrument.
[49:45] And it's a lifelong skill.
[49:46] Skill.
[49:47] Yeah.
[49:47] Whether they stay with their sport or dance or not, they're in
[49:51] their body, they can breathe through things.
[49:54] They know how to breathe to get a release through the body because
[49:58] there's a specific way of breathing.
[50:00] And I'll leave you with, this is what I have, my clients do, is
[50:05] breathe in through their nose, all the way to the bottom of their
[50:07] spine, their sacrum at the very bottom.
[50:11] And if you're an adult, before you go, this is right before you
[50:15] stretch, you hold your breath for a few beats, the longer the better.
[50:18] And then you exhale and go into the stretch.
[50:21] The body completely lets go.
[50:24] But you also, when you breathe into your low back, I'm giving you
[50:27] the biggest free tip ever.
[50:29] So listen carefully.
[50:31] You mentally tell your back to let go and your whole body that it's
[50:35] okay to let go.
[50:36] And then you exhale and you go into the stretch and you never force
[50:41] it, push it, or bounce.
[50:43] That's outdated.
[50:44] If it feels like, oh, this is too much, you come right, right up
[50:47] out of it.
[50:47] And guess what?
[50:48] Your body processes what you just did.
[50:51] And then you go back into it and it's able to go further.
[50:54] And if you're doing one side and there's another side, you go
[50:57] to the other side and then you come back to the body because it's
[51:00] new, it hasn't done it.
[51:02] You know, like if you're stretching in a new way.
[51:05] So.
[51:06] And the magic happens on the repeat, but we give up right away
[51:09] and learn to do it in the right sequence.
[51:11] That will make stretching shouldn't be painful, rather what
[51:15] my clients say it is.
[51:16] It's a deep Discovery Channel day of their body.
[51:20] So we're going to places that have been asleep, laying dormant.
[51:24] Dormant and waking up the parts of ourselves and that haven't
[51:28] been utilized.
[51:29] So when you go to work out, you.
[51:32] You feel thinner, longer, and you have a better range of motion.
[51:35] You burn more calories and you do everything.
[51:38] And you also just feel so much lighter.
[51:41] That's wonderful.
[51:43] Stacy, where do people reach out to you?
[51:46] Oh, okay.
[51:47] My website is stacynemour.com so I'm sure you'll have a link that's
[51:52] to find out about my privates.
[51:54] You can email me for a free consultation about which course or
[51:58] which program and I'll tune in on that.
[52:03] Or if you want to go straight to the courses, is flexibilitymakeover.com
[52:07] and that's where the courses is.
[52:08] There's one with our wonderful bright light, Kathy.
[52:12] Yeah, yeah, Kathy.
[52:14] Radiant superstar Kathy.
[52:18] So amazing called flexibility for releasing trauma.
[52:21] Take your power back.
[52:23] And that I explained, you know, we go through all the stretching
[52:27] and that one has a handstand training, splits training, a little
[52:32] bit of boxing.
[52:33] And then I finish at the end with a meditation for exactly how
[52:37] to call your power back.
[52:39] So there's that, too.
[52:41] And I'm also on all the social.
[52:43] Media and Instagram, so I would love to connect with each and
[52:46] every one of you wherever you are.
[52:48] I'm sending out a lighthouse that I hear, and the prayer is this
[52:54] reaches anybody who needs to hear it.
[52:56] And, you know, and so much love to you both.
[53:01] You guys are such superstars and congratulations on this trajectory
[53:08] that this show.

[53:24] moment, amazing momentum.

[53:28] That's what we're hoping.
[53:29] Yes.
[53:30] We want to help more people.
[53:31] And Stacy, you are just a bright light on the world.
[53:36] Yes.
[53:37] And people spell your name.
[53:39] S, T, A, C, E, Y, N E, M O, U, R.
[53:44] That's exactly correct.
[53:46] Okay, so people can reach out to stacynamour.com and what is the
[53:50] other one again?
[53:51] The other website?
[53:52] FlexibilityMakeover.com that's FlexibilityMakeover.com Very cool.
[53:58] And there they can find out how you can help them.
[54:00] Terrific.
[54:01] You're going to help people in so many different ways.
[54:03] And I love the fact that online everyone has access to your
[54:07] brilliance.
[54:08] Yeah.
[54:08] That's what's so beautiful about this day and age.
[54:10] Especially if you live in the most remote area, you won't.
[54:15] Don't have any kind of access to anything, you know, that you're
[54:18] really interested in.
[54:19] You know, we can connect instantly.
[54:23] Awesome.
[54:24] This has been inspiring.
[54:25] And I've been sitting up much straighter while I was talking.
[54:31] Yes, yes, straight.
[54:33] Put on that posture strap.
[54:35] Thank you so much, Stacy.
[54:38] Thanks, Stacy.
[54:39] Thank you very, very much.
