[0:10] Speaker 1: You're listening to a MoMA Mia podcast. Mama Mia acknowledges
[0:15] Speaker 1: the traditional owners of land and waters that this podcast
[0:18] Speaker 1: is recorded on Hey friends, Lee here. I needed to
[0:21] Speaker 1: share this episode of You Beauty because we were asked
[0:24] Speaker 1: two amazing questions from our ubies, and of course we
[0:28] Speaker 1: answer real questions. They're ones we don't get very often
[0:31] Speaker 1: and really made us think. So I thought maybe you'd
[0:33] Speaker 1: like to listen and hear our answers. Enjoy.
[0:37] Speaker 2: Makeup is my therapy.
[0:39] Speaker 1: I'm in love. I'm obsessed and I don't even feel
[0:42] Speaker 1: guilty about it. Hello, and welcome to Your Beauty, the
[0:47] Speaker 1: podcast for Your Face. I'm Lee Campbell, I'm Kelly McCarran. First,
[0:50] Speaker 1: I wanted to tell you something I just learned.
[0:52] Speaker 2: I love facts.
[0:53] Speaker 1: On average, women take two point five years of their
[0:56] Speaker 1: entire life getting ready.
[0:57] Speaker 2: Oh hell, I'd spit a lot longer than that. Me too,
[1:00] Speaker 2: So I love it. It's part of my Like I love
[1:03] Speaker 2: getting ready. Well, it's literally our jobs, but it's also
[1:06] Speaker 2: for me. It's like it makes me happy time. It's
[1:08] Speaker 2: me time.
[1:09] Speaker 1: I think that we're meant to be outraged, like the
[1:11] Speaker 1: patriarchy and men don't have to do that well, oh,
[1:13] Speaker 1: they're just.
[1:13] Speaker 2: Too busy spending an hour on the toilet.
[1:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, but also we host this show, so that's what
[1:19] Speaker 1: we do. But I also, like you said, in defensive,
[1:22] Speaker 1: people that really enjoy it. If you feel like that
[1:25] Speaker 1: kind of fact is vilifying your hobby, I approve.
[1:29] Speaker 2: Honestly, sometimes I think with these facts it's like that, Yeah,
[1:32] Speaker 2: they put them out to outrageous. It's like when you know,
[1:34] Speaker 2: they go, if you bother your coffee every day, you're
[1:36] Speaker 2: spending three thousand dollars a year, and yeah, it makes
[1:38] Speaker 2: me happy that moment. I would spend more because that
[1:41] Speaker 2: moment every day makes me so happy.
[1:44] Speaker 1: And I want to try my scar and I don't
[1:45] Speaker 1: care how many years it takes exactly anyway, Q and A.
[1:49] Speaker 1: So the ubi's ask us questions, Kelly's having a makeup
[1:51] Speaker 1: s Oh.
[1:52] Speaker 2: I just I really overlined accidentally. And you look good,
[1:55] Speaker 2: just don't look.
[1:56] Speaker 1: Too good, okay. Zoom in, guys, zoom in. And when
[1:58] Speaker 1: I say zoom in, obviously you can watch us on YouTube.
[2:00] Speaker 1: Now we're video first, so you might be watching, you
[2:02] Speaker 1: might be listening. If you're listening and curious, head over
[2:04] Speaker 1: to YouTube watch us there on mondays, we answer question.
[2:07] Speaker 1: So you can email us you Bedyetmama mea dot com.
[2:10] Speaker 1: You can even send a voice note to the email.
[2:12] Speaker 1: You can dms on Instagram. You can DM Kelly and
[2:14] Speaker 1: I and we pass it on.
[2:16] Speaker 2: I couldn't help, but wonder asked me anything.
[2:18] Speaker 1: You ask many questions, two wonderful questions today. What are
[2:22] Speaker 1: we starting with?
[2:23] Speaker 2: So later on the episode, we've got a conundrum that
[2:26] Speaker 2: I feel like so many people have had.
[2:29] Speaker 1: Guys such a good word.
[2:31] Speaker 2: I sure have because when I was a teenager, my
[2:33] Speaker 2: mum always was like, when you're grown up, you won't
[2:35] Speaker 2: get pimples anymore.
[2:36] Speaker 1: Lies?
[2:37] Speaker 2: Why the lies? Anyway? So that's later in the episode.
[2:41] Speaker 2: But first, a UBI who's thinking about making a huge
[2:44] Speaker 2: switch in her beauty routine.
[2:46] Speaker 1: Huge. I'm being sarcastic, Okay, I'm going to read it.
[2:49] Speaker 1: Jesse sent us a DM. She says, Hyley and Kelly,
[2:52] Speaker 1: I'm thirty five and have been using black muscara my
[2:55] Speaker 1: whole life, but I keep seeing people rave about brown
[2:58] Speaker 1: mascara for a more natural look. I have medium brown
[3:01] Speaker 1: hair and hazel lies. Oh my god, you need to
[3:03] Speaker 1: do this. Should I make this switch? And if so,
[3:06] Speaker 1: what's the best way to transition without looking washed out?
[3:09] Speaker 1: What are the best brown mascas?
[3:11] Speaker 2: I've never heard. I don't think that she's gonna who
[3:13] Speaker 2: would look washed out? Maybe someone with really dark features,
[3:16] Speaker 2: well would look Yeah, you would look washed out with brown.
[3:19] Speaker 1: No I do it now. Sometimes I've got many things
[3:21] Speaker 1: to say about this. Oh okay, look, it's not you say.
[3:24] Speaker 1: How do I transition?
[3:25] Speaker 2: It's not not hard.
[3:27] Speaker 1: It's not that big of a difference. There are some
[3:29] Speaker 1: brown products that throw a lot of warmth and almost
[3:31] Speaker 1: look ready burgundy. But then you've got some deep chocolate espresso.
[3:34] Speaker 2: Brown can't really even tell the difference.
[3:37] Speaker 1: But with your hazel eyes, it will make a little
[3:39] Speaker 1: bit of a difference.
[3:40] Speaker 2: I think it's going to look beautiful. Don't we love
[3:42] Speaker 2: a mascara wardrobe?
[3:43] Speaker 1: Just get one brown and add it to your black rotation,
[3:45] Speaker 1: and maybe you do brown for the office or you know,
[3:47] Speaker 1: Monday or whatever, and you're black for your fancy things.
[3:50] Speaker 2: Do you agree? Oh, I just don't like. Don't overthink it.
[3:53] Speaker 2: It's just mascara. I do like brown.
[3:55] Speaker 1: And also, it was really hard to find brown before,
[3:57] Speaker 1: and now everyone's doing good ones.
[3:59] Speaker 2: Because a lot of people are making the life changing transition.
[4:03] Speaker 1: So I've got some recommendations as to you, and I
[4:05] Speaker 1: think we're going to say similar things. But I often
[4:08] Speaker 1: do brown, and because I've got pretty much black hair,
[4:10] Speaker 1: I've got quite dark features. And also I always do
[4:13] Speaker 1: like a bit of a liner or wing no matter
[4:15] Speaker 1: what color I'm doing, So I would start with some
[4:19] Speaker 1: brown liner at the root of the lash before I
[4:21] Speaker 1: put my mascara on. I've got two recommendations because I
[4:24] Speaker 1: love a liquid It's called the Judy Slim Liquid eye Liner.
[4:27] Speaker 1: They've got like three different types of browns. It's nine
[4:29] Speaker 1: dollars and thirty four cents. It's one of those KAUTJ
[4:32] Speaker 1: beauty products.
[4:33] Speaker 2: It's so good.
[4:34] Speaker 1: You literally just sort of stiple into the lash line
[4:36] Speaker 1: and it looks like you've had your like tint, like
[4:39] Speaker 1: a lush tint that's brown. If you want a traditional
[4:42] Speaker 1: pencil and something you can kind of smoke out a
[4:44] Speaker 1: little bit and get that real kind of cool look.
[4:46] Speaker 1: I love the rim all Rym's got like a brown
[4:48] Speaker 1: coal that's really affordable, and you just use that and
[4:50] Speaker 1: you've got a bit of working time to sort of
[4:52] Speaker 1: smudge it out. Then just curl you lushes and go
[4:54] Speaker 1: in with your mesca aut My favorites Revlon all In
[4:57] Speaker 1: tubing muscaa in brown full price. It's twenty five ninety
[5:01] Speaker 1: five at the time of recording, and when I purchased it.
[5:04] Speaker 1: I've had it for a long time, but it's often
[5:05] Speaker 1: on sale twelve dollars. It's a tubula, but it's harder
[5:08] Speaker 1: to get off than a normal tubular, but it gives
[5:10] Speaker 1: you really impressive lashes, which you, I guess want if
[5:13] Speaker 1: you're downgrading the impact by color. Yeah, two face better
[5:17] Speaker 1: than sex, which is absolutely cult Status has a brown
[5:21] Speaker 1: it's just called chocolate. Fifty one dollars, so that's at Mecca.
[5:24] Speaker 1: So if you're going to try it and you're not sure,
[5:27] Speaker 1: maybe get one of the more affordable one to see.
[5:29] Speaker 2: How you feel about the color before you commit.
[5:31] Speaker 1: Correct Then this is my little hack that I do
[5:33] Speaker 1: sometimes because as I age and as lashes go through cycles,
[5:38] Speaker 1: sometimes my lashes are phenomenal and then sometimes I'm like,
[5:40] Speaker 1: where are you gone?
[5:42] Speaker 2: Where did you flutter off to?
[5:44] Speaker 1: You got to come back? I bought these on Amazon.
[5:46] Speaker 1: They're there Brown lash Clusters. The brand is TNVF Okay,
[5:50] Speaker 1: I don't know how to say it. We're going to
[5:51] Speaker 1: link in the show notes. And they're like little tiny,
[5:54] Speaker 1: like not individuals but not a fool or a half
[5:57] Speaker 1: strip and they're brown, and so I just put one
[6:00] Speaker 1: or two on the outer corner after I've done my mescaa.
[6:02] Speaker 1: They're very easy to put on eighteen ninety nine and
[6:05] Speaker 1: you get this huge pack and they're like a deep, deep,
[6:07] Speaker 1: dark round, but it just looks like you can't really
[6:10] Speaker 1: tell they're there. It just gives me some definition on
[6:12] Speaker 1: the outer corner. And it's a brown. Oh I love them, Okay,
[6:15] Speaker 1: I rebought them them.
[6:16] Speaker 2: Oh they're so good. They're coming in black as though.
[6:18] Speaker 2: I want to try more brown mascara because I actually
[6:20] Speaker 2: didn't have any recommendations off the top of my head,
[6:22] Speaker 2: so I went deep on Reddit to find some suggestions
[6:25] Speaker 2: for people. So, oh, my hacks are exactly like, use
[6:29] Speaker 2: a bit of brown liner to just thicken it up
[6:31] Speaker 2: because otherwise you might be it might not look as impactful.
[6:34] Speaker 2: Curl your lashes to open the mark. And then the
[6:38] Speaker 2: three that I selected are Mecha Max Whiplash Tubing mascara
[6:41] Speaker 2: twenty six dollars. I forgot about that one. It's amazing.
[6:45] Speaker 1: I haven't tried the brown, but I love the black,
[6:46] Speaker 1: so I assume it's the same.
[6:47] Speaker 2: I just read some great things Natio Extreme Volume Mascara
[6:51] Speaker 2: sixteen ninety.
[6:52] Speaker 1: Five about that in the black and it's tubula.
[6:54] Speaker 2: Yes exactly, also comes in the chocolate brown. And then
[6:56] Speaker 2: Tower twenty eight was the highest rated. That's thirty five
[7:00] Speaker 2: and the chocolate color is meant to be.
[7:02] Speaker 1: I love their black white. I love so much Tower
[7:05] Speaker 1: twenty eight. I'm obsessed.
[7:06] Speaker 2: Don't matter anything. Oh try to lip bum.
[7:08] Speaker 1: Woman, get yourself to mecha the little sos orange, spry
[7:12] Speaker 1: the mini, go, get the mini. Dying to hear how
[7:16] Speaker 1: it goes. Please jump in the U beauty group because
[7:18] Speaker 1: I just want to hear other people's Yeah. I recently
[7:21] Speaker 1: brought like a burgundy mascara.
[7:23] Speaker 2: Beautiful, that's your color, haven't please?
[7:26] Speaker 1: Also a little trick with like colors, maybe not brown,
[7:28] Speaker 1: but you can do black and then just do a
[7:30] Speaker 1: little green or a burgundy on the tip and it
[7:32] Speaker 1: really brings your eyes out.
[7:33] Speaker 2: And it also like won't be super noticeable. It'll just
[7:36] Speaker 2: like give someone a bit of it.
[7:37] Speaker 1: Ooh yeah, yeah, but you just go, oh, I've got
[7:39] Speaker 1: that on. Yeah exactly. The MDS put on your lushes.
[7:47] Speaker 2: So Francesca has asked, Hello, I'm twenty eight and starting
[7:51] Speaker 2: to notice fine lines around my eyes, but I also
[7:53] Speaker 2: still get the occasional breakout. I'm so confused about what
[7:57] Speaker 2: products to use. Do I focus on anti aging or
[7:59] Speaker 2: acne prevention? Can I use both retinal and salicylic acid?
[8:03] Speaker 2: I feel like I'm too young for any aging but
[8:04] Speaker 2: too old for teenage skincare.
[8:06] Speaker 1: That's a song too young for men and too old
[8:08] Speaker 1: for women. No, not the one anyway, you just made
[8:11] Speaker 1: that up. No, but there's a song like something like that.
[8:13] Speaker 1: Welcome to having a face.
[8:15] Speaker 2: Honestly, I had awful acne when I was a teenager. Oh,
[8:21] Speaker 2: when you're a grown up, you won't get acne anymore. Well,
[8:24] Speaker 2: yas then I got even worse acne were not worse.
[8:27] Speaker 2: But I've got bad acne again in my twenties. Yeah,
[8:29] Speaker 2: And like, I.
[8:29] Speaker 1: Don't know if you can see I've concealed it. I
[8:31] Speaker 1: mean it's just one spot. I'm not saying I've bad ackney.
[8:33] Speaker 1: But guy, oh, I can't wait to go home and
[8:37] Speaker 1: pop him because he's ready. Okay, Anyway, you're gonna get
[8:39] Speaker 1: breakouts as particularly if you breakout prone, but you know, hormones, periods, perry, babies, postpartum, perry, peary,
[8:48] Speaker 1: all of the things. So what I would suggest is
[8:51] Speaker 1: to not think of your face as one entity, like
[8:54] Speaker 1: do face mapping. So you're saying you get lines around
[8:56] Speaker 1: your eyes. Also, you're not too young for anti aging,
[8:59] Speaker 1: so where like anti aging has changed. You used to
[9:02] Speaker 1: think of like, you know.
[9:03] Speaker 2: Get rid of your wrinkles, fust yes, and do.
[9:05] Speaker 1: It when you're sixty and use that kind of weird cream.
[9:08] Speaker 1: But it's kind of like prevented aging, so you should
[9:11] Speaker 1: be doing that.
[9:11] Speaker 2: Anya.
[9:12] Speaker 1: Your skin is healthy and nourished as possible, basically exactly.
[9:15] Speaker 1: So it's not like we're telling you to go get
[9:17] Speaker 1: anti wrinkle, but the products you should be using are
[9:19] Speaker 1: antiaging by default. So a beautiful I cream around the eye,
[9:22] Speaker 1: it's something nice and hydrating and nourishing, or alternating with
[9:25] Speaker 1: like a retinol cream. The medicaiate one's great. I love
[9:28] Speaker 1: the go to one, So you could do that. I
[9:30] Speaker 1: mean you can do them every night, but something hydrating
[9:33] Speaker 1: in the morning to like plump out those lines, and
[9:35] Speaker 1: then where your breakouts are you can treat them with
[9:39] Speaker 1: something anti acne. Like I think we kind of think, oh, you're.
[9:41] Speaker 2: Clear a sells.
[9:42] Speaker 1: You've got to go to that teenage section. There's so
[9:44] Speaker 1: many good things, so spot treat as you go. Or
[9:47] Speaker 1: I do have a few product recommendations, so I've brought
[9:49] Speaker 1: some expensive ones because brands aren't silly. They know that
[9:52] Speaker 1: women are dealing with these two things at once. Two recommendations.
[9:56] Speaker 1: I think you really used to love this one. It's
[9:58] Speaker 1: the skin Cuticle Stilly maarn ce CF so the skin
[10:02] Speaker 1: cuitical C faruic is the famous cult vitamin C. But
[10:05] Speaker 1: they have got one called Silly marim that's do you
[10:08] Speaker 1: want to forty two dollars? Sorry, that is a beautiful
[10:11] Speaker 1: vitamin C. But for combination breakout prone skin, vitamin C
[10:17] Speaker 1: in and of itself is anti aging because it's preventative
[10:20] Speaker 1: and it also helps fade post breakout pigmentation or dark marks.
[10:24] Speaker 1: So that would be great and sorry. But the other
[10:25] Speaker 1: one I brought is from Skinceuticals. It's the Skin Suithicles
[10:28] Speaker 1: Blemish and Age Defense Serum. Oh yeah, it's literally a
[10:32] Speaker 1: serum for both people who want to treat well, not
[10:35] Speaker 1: treat aging, treat breakouts, but also you know, prevent against aging.
[10:39] Speaker 1: That one's one hundred and forty five, so it's a
[10:41] Speaker 1: bargain in comparison.
[10:43] Speaker 2: To silly, silly mailly prices.
[10:45] Speaker 1: And that one's got salicilic and retinol in it, I believe,
[10:48] Speaker 1: or maybe the anyway, Yes, you can use salicilic and retinol.
[10:51] Speaker 1: They are both quite active, so it would depend where
[10:53] Speaker 1: and how, but they can absolutely be in the same routine.
[10:56] Speaker 2: Retinol.
[10:56] Speaker 1: Vitamin a was originally formulated for breakout. So your retinol
[11:01] Speaker 1: is going to help your breakouts as it is because
[11:04] Speaker 1: it promotes cell tone over and kind of clears those up.
[11:07] Speaker 1: So vitamin a is like the gold standard most study ingredient.
[11:11] Speaker 2: And it's going to do a lot of things.
[11:12] Speaker 1: So you are, if you're using retinal antiaging and treating
[11:15] Speaker 1: your breakouts, what.
[11:17] Speaker 2: Do you got to say? I was going to say
[11:19] Speaker 2: the same, like focus on hydration peptides and then just
[11:22] Speaker 2: use your salacilic acid. Why do you love peptides so much?
[11:25] Speaker 2: Explain why this works there, it's going to plump up
[11:28] Speaker 2: your skin and just to get it like keeping it
[11:31] Speaker 2: hydrated and plump is going to stop you looking old. Yes,
[11:35] Speaker 2: inverted commas, like that's what's going to make your skin
[11:38] Speaker 2: look so healthy and youthful.
[11:41] Speaker 1: And when she says she's not ready for anti aging,
[11:43] Speaker 1: do you assume she means like anti wrinkly, like like
[11:46] Speaker 1: the injections and.
[11:47] Speaker 2: Stuff, or just like she's thinking about those old school
[11:50] Speaker 2: campaigns where it's like get rid of your wrinkles type
[11:52] Speaker 2: thing where it's like, no, no, we're just focusing on
[11:54] Speaker 2: our skin health and I am the same. And then
[11:58] Speaker 2: I just use like a spot treatment on pimples when
[12:00] Speaker 2: they come up. Yes, I would definitely start with a
[12:03] Speaker 2: mild retinal and just work your way up to using
[12:06] Speaker 2: it a couple of times a week. Yes, so this will,
[12:08] Speaker 2: as Lee said, it will help with both the fine
[12:10] Speaker 2: lines and any spots. So Medicate, Crystal, Retinal, Image, Skincare, Retinal,
[12:15] Speaker 2: and Paula's choice all do. I'm sure that there are
[12:17] Speaker 2: other ones, but those are the ones that were top
[12:19] Speaker 2: of mind. All do different strengths, And you can start
[12:23] Speaker 2: at a really strate, don't you exactly, But you can
[12:26] Speaker 2: start like some people might start on a point three
[12:31] Speaker 2: and then just stay.
[12:33] Speaker 1: There for the medicate systems fantastic. I think I started
[12:35] Speaker 1: a three you go three, six, ten, twelve or something.
[12:38] Speaker 2: I think there's like a tween or twenty. I don't know,
[12:40] Speaker 2: but some people stay at the six because it works well.
[12:42] Speaker 1: I just have the three around because I just know
[12:45] Speaker 1: I can use them all regularly.
[12:46] Speaker 2: So look into something like that where you can get
[12:48] Speaker 2: the different percentage when we had the Medicaid founder on
[12:52] Speaker 2: the formula or not that recently, but we'll make sure
[12:55] Speaker 2: that we link it. In the show notes, he talked
[12:57] Speaker 2: more about their retinals and why they formulated and then
[13:00] Speaker 2: that way. That was an excellent episode. It's brilliant. Also,
[13:04] Speaker 2: I would look into if your budget will allow for
[13:07] Speaker 2: either just regular microneedling or radio frequency micro aneeling, because
[13:11] Speaker 2: once again that will help with both spots and the
[13:15] Speaker 2: signs of aging that you're really not happy about.
[13:18] Speaker 1: Or in your area, find a skin expert who does
[13:21] Speaker 1: really good professional extractions. I love when I used to
[13:24] Speaker 1: get a lot of breakouts down here. I used to
[13:26] Speaker 1: take pre work out when an exercise very sensitive to
[13:29] Speaker 1: stimulants and it was like stimulating, Oh that makes me
[13:31] Speaker 1: think hober oil. It's antibacterial, but also so nourishing. So nourishing,
[13:36] Speaker 1: That's what cleared up all those breakouts to me. And
[13:38] Speaker 1: I had had millions of peers. I tried everything expensive,
[13:42] Speaker 1: you know, I know what to do for my job,
[13:43] Speaker 1: but her Hober oil just playing.
[13:46] Speaker 2: Whenever people are wondering about, like how do I fix
[13:48] Speaker 2: my skin, I'm like, strip everything back, just use your home.
[13:51] Speaker 1: Which is not an oil. It's a wax. It's not
[13:52] Speaker 1: going to make you acne worse, and it's antibacterial.
[13:55] Speaker 2: So yes.
[13:56] Speaker 1: And yeah, I was going to say extractions. If you've
[13:58] Speaker 1: got some deep breakouts or breakouts you can't clear up.
[14:00] Speaker 2: My facial lady. Sometimes I'm like, I did not know
[14:02] Speaker 2: there was something there. I love it. And she's like
[14:04] Speaker 2: having a hunt and the things that she finds in there.
[14:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so as well. Oh yeah, she's a good
[14:11] Speaker 1: to shift treeses. Mine uses like a needle and yeah,
[14:15] Speaker 1: but for a.
[14:15] Speaker 2: Hair tweezer brows.
[14:21] Speaker 1: So yes, you can definitely treat both. Think of your
[14:22] Speaker 1: face as separate areas or just find some skincare that's
[14:25] Speaker 1: going to do both. So as you might have noticed
[14:31] Speaker 1: last week, we've changed host Hack to Beauty Bite, which
[14:34] Speaker 1: is just us talking about wonderful things. It might be a.
[14:36] Speaker 2: Product, anything beauty related. We can bring it to the table.
[14:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, just a little something to say mine is I
[14:42] Speaker 1: recently cleaned up my beauty products and it was a
[14:44] Speaker 1: reminder to me and a PSA to you is that
[14:46] Speaker 1: your products want to stand up, most of them. This
[14:49] Speaker 1: is your mascara and your liquid eye line. I'm talking
[14:51] Speaker 1: mostly about makeup. I mean, I don't think a lot
[14:54] Speaker 1: of people lay their skincare down in serums and stuff.
[14:56] Speaker 1: They're sitting up. But because my little beauty station in
[14:59] Speaker 1: my bedroom has a row of like storage drawers, a.
[15:03] Speaker 2: Lot of people have them rolled like lying down. Yes.
[15:06] Speaker 1: And then my favorite liquid line was always drawing out
[15:09] Speaker 1: too much. And then I realized it's because it's like,
[15:12] Speaker 1: why are you doing this to me? So now I
[15:14] Speaker 1: just got I got some. They're from BINGW. They're really cute.
[15:17] Speaker 1: They're meant to be for tooth threshholders, like it's a
[15:18] Speaker 1: tooth thresholder, but it looks fake marble. I've got like
[15:20] Speaker 1: three of those, and it's got all my liquid liners.
[15:22] Speaker 1: My messca is even your concealer with the dough for
[15:26] Speaker 1: given your lip glosses. They want to be standing up
[15:28] Speaker 1: at attention, ready to go with the juice down the
[15:30] Speaker 1: bottom so that you don't have to like brilliantly, or
[15:36] Speaker 1: if you've got your mescara laying down, it all kind
[15:38] Speaker 1: of settles and then one side of the brushes all goofy.
[15:40] Speaker 1: So if you've got you know, it's hard if you've
[15:42] Speaker 1: got just a makeup bag that you keep stuff in.
[15:44] Speaker 1: But it made me think you a month or two
[15:46] Speaker 1: ago recommended a really fantastic small business with a makeup
[15:49] Speaker 1: the makeup everything standing up. We'll link it in the
[15:52] Speaker 1: show notes. I mean, it's not mandatory, but your products
[15:55] Speaker 1: will last longer, good tear, the pigment will stay better.
[15:58] Speaker 1: So stand those guys up and then lay down your
[16:00] Speaker 1: shadow palettes, your bonzes. Everything can go in those draws
[16:03] Speaker 1: in my bedroom right now. And I've got everything standing up.
[16:05] Speaker 1: Now that's liquid is genious.
[16:08] Speaker 2: Well, yes, I didn't bring anything to the table, so
[16:12] Speaker 2: I've brought a bag to the table. I did see that,
[16:15] Speaker 2: and I want it. I thought you might like to
[16:17] Speaker 2: know what's in my little beauty bag. No, I want
[16:19] Speaker 2: the actual bag I packed for the day. The packet
[16:22] Speaker 2: I just grabbed it.
[16:23] Speaker 1: But what is the bag? Is it just one of
[16:24] Speaker 1: those freebie bags to get with brands.
[16:26] Speaker 2: I've got absolutely no idea, but it's like a little
[16:28] Speaker 2: mesh or reverse google image it. Oh, it's just a
[16:31] Speaker 2: mesh bag. Can I tell you what?
[16:33] Speaker 1: I like mesh bags because they don't take up any
[16:35] Speaker 1: extra space, any beautiful leather ones, but I don't have room.
[16:39] Speaker 2: Do you want to see what's in my bag? Yes?
[16:40] Speaker 1: Or no? Kind of?
[16:41] Speaker 2: Oh no, I'm really hoping that you. No. I guess
[16:44] Speaker 2: it really is your favorite product. Oh so I can
[16:47] Speaker 2: only choose one. Oh, that's a good one. Okay. Do
[16:50] Speaker 2: you know what a brush?
[16:51] Speaker 1: A brush?
[16:52] Speaker 2: No? Okay, fine, this is what I would use the
[16:54] Speaker 2: most in this little bag because I just will It's filthy,
[16:59] Speaker 2: but I just will touch up under my eyes like that.
[17:01] Speaker 2: I'll go there, go there, just buff in any product
[17:05] Speaker 2: so I'm not oily or my makeups and brand. This
[17:08] Speaker 2: is a Morphee O.
[17:10] Speaker 1: I love Morphy brushes, molidy and high highlighter.
[17:13] Speaker 2: Brush, but just everything. It's just I just really like
[17:16] Speaker 2: it because of the little we.
[17:17] Speaker 1: Should show what's in our bag sometimes because mine's always different.
[17:20] Speaker 2: But exactly that's why I was like, you've got a
[17:22] Speaker 2: clips in there.
[17:24] Speaker 1: I do.
[17:24] Speaker 2: I've got lots of lip products, I've got some sunscreen,
[17:27] Speaker 2: I've got throat lozenges, including these throat pastils. Okay, I
[17:32] Speaker 2: got on Amazon.
[17:33] Speaker 1: I'm bored now.
[17:33] Speaker 2: Oh okay.
[17:34] Speaker 1: On that note, Kelly says, get it everything brush, Stop talking,
[17:38] Speaker 1: pimple patches. Get in everything, brush. Keep it in your
[17:40] Speaker 1: bag for touch ups. Don't worry about it. If it
[17:43] Speaker 1: gets dirty, well we'll keep it in your little bag.
[17:45] Speaker 2: It's not going to get two.
[17:45] Speaker 1: Do you clean it?
[17:47] Speaker 2: That's it it is. Yeah, we're done. We'll be back
